But I have been sleeping in the recliner for the last two weeks since my shoulder surgery. So our relationship at home has been perfect because I sleep in the living room, she sleeps in the bedroom.

And actually, I there's some the two separate bedrooms. Yep. He said, I think I'm gonna try to sleep in the bed. And I said, The doctor said you can't for three weeks, and he's like, No, and I was like, You were so out of it, you don't know. He said, Three weeks, and he's like, No, he didn't. I'm like, Yeah, he did.

Like, he's gone like five overnights a week, and I'm like, our relationship is better in the last year than it was in the first nine. You know why? Because absence makes the heart grow fonder. He appreciates me more, I appreciate him more.

So my parents, they're snowbirds, and they go down to Port Arantxis every year for about five months of the year down by the um ocean, and they're in a retirement type park with a lot of RVs and things like that. They don't know what the pineapple means. And I keep telling Tess, I'm like, I so much want to just hang a pineapple on the door and they don't know what it is. Like all of a sudden, they start getting new neighbors knocking on the door that they can help.

Well, look when we were in Puerto Rico, Anisa has a pineapple on the side of one of her tables, and I, me and Michelle, so bad we're like, can we flip it over? It's like a metal pineapple tone. I'm like, I wonder if that would sit. So the next time I go to Puerto Rico, I'm flipping it.

That's how funny would it be? It would like they probably wouldn't even notice it. Yes. Or Jason wouldn't be like, why is the pineapple while I was gone on the pro.

Well, here, even better than that, when we first started dating at the little house she lived at, the little uh light outside her front door, it wasn't a normal like yellow or white incandescent light. It was a red light. You know, like back in the days you had the red light district, the light would be on when business was open.

So when I first met, I said, business has been paying me. Listen, and I didn't even realize, I never even really put it together. I wouldn't have either he liked the red light, and I lived directly across the street and actually rented the house from the mayor, so she's kind of like, oh my god, what have I done? Yeah, so that is great. And speaking of when we first started dating, we just had our 17th anniversary on Cinco de Mayo of our first date. And let me tell you, that first date was an adventure.

Yeah, I want to hear more. She sent us a text, and it was really cute. The text was really nice, and at the bottom it said something to the effect of it wasn't my fault. She started it or something like that. What is that referencing?

In my day. I didn't start it. She did. And what happened on your first date? I start getting texts. We're out there glow golfing on the golf course, you know, and I start getting texts from my cousin's ex-wife, who is oh little anyway, um, about all kinds of stuff, and she's gonna kick my ass and all this stuff, and she's waiting up by my she's sending me pictures of my car. No, up here waiting on you, blah blah blah, and I'm trying to be good. And I'm like, screaming, you blah blah blah, you know, and I'm like, hang on, hang on.

Now, Adam, what are you feeling at this point? Well, you gotta realize I grew up in Kansas City where there's tons of people, okay, and now here I am in Lockwood that has like 12. So I'm thinking this might be my only option down here. She's real employee. I'm like, all right, this could just make for really interesting life. Let's let's go for it.

I was gonna say, you messed up there. Thanks. Thank you, honey. Um, so anyway, I'm trying to hold off or try to hold because me myself, normally I would have been right up there and just pounded her. And I'm trying to be good, but I'm screaming at her also in the phone. And I did, and I don't say this word often, but I did call her the C-word, and I said, I'm on my way up there. And I hauled balls on that golf cart was he within the case. Which by the way, they're still in the ball. I yeah, and I turned like the fit of crown out of the bottle, and I well at one point, whenever I re ran or went to lean down on something, I smashed my face onto the steering hard, not softly, wham. So pollen balls up to the parking lot where she's taking pictures of and she's challenging me. I get up there and she drove away, and I was like, Yeah. So the next morning, I get a text from him that said, You had me at cunt.

Okay, so hold on a second, hold on a second. Sorry about that word, people. I don't was she trying to get with Adam? No, he was wife of my cousin and ex-wife, and she was up there with us. Who was up there with us? She is the most horrible human being ever. So um, you know, her and I didn't get along the best, and and Leland was out there. We should, I guess I shouldn't say Leland. I can't wait for you guys to beat him. He's awesome. But he was out there with us, and I guess she chose that night to so she chose violence. But what people don't know about Tessa is Tessa is part of what I call the FAFO community. Okay. If you don't know what that stands for, it would be fuck around and find out.

Yeah, and I was like, I found I found Michelle, who will her face says everything when her words say nothing, and then you've got Tessa, who's the polar end of the spectrum, polar end, she will cuss you and her face, like she'll smile while she does it, and then you've got me just in the middle. Like it just depends on the day. Like one day I might key your car, and the next day I might sit there quietly and just watch you burn. Like I, you know, you just don't know. But that's what makes this so great. Yes, and Adam tries to be quiet in the background, but let's be real, he must have a little bit of FAFO because he married Tessa.

Yeah, yeah. I got a little five, two and a half bodyguard here. And let me tell you, her her go-to power, which I can't do it right now because of my shoulder surgery. Once she starts fighting, she says her superpower word says windmill, it starts swinging over with the windmill. Nobody can fight against a windmill, except people with a little bit longer arms than her, and then she's screamed.

No, I have somebody could just put their hand on what it's happened to me twice in fights, two times in fights with somebody with extra long arms that held my forehead, and uh well, arms went swinging.

And we're not talking about some of this other stuff. Uh, this is the first time on podcast, so I don't know how long we go on one topic, but I have to include this since we brought up the too short and can hold our way. We were at a softball tournament one time, and the whole day had been going great. You know, we had drove separately, and it was in a town that's just seven miles away from our town. We're all done. We're like, hey, let's go meet at such and such house to have a beer or so. And I leave and I get halfway gone and I get a message that says, You gotta come back. Tessa punch somebody. And I'm like, Well, I go back, and not only had she punched somebody, it was this guy that was like six, six, six, seven, and our friend, our best friend said, 'Yeah, I was watching. She literally had to jump and hit him, and she hit him in the chest. No, I hit him in the ear. But she had to jump and hit him. So like everything was just perfectly happy when I left. What's happened? So she definitely I tell people that if you want to have a fun life, marry a Polish blonde person because they will keep your life interesting and fun all the time.

He called my friend a really bad name, and I was really embarrassed that I only punched him in the ear. Like, but man, I had to- You should have just gone lower. Like he said, I know, I didn't even think about that. You could have kicked up, and then as he was falling down, then you could have hit or knee him in the face. A few months after that, one of my very close friends from high school is like, I am engaged, I can't wait for you to meet my fiance. It was him, and I was like, Oh, we've met. Did he remember you? Oh, yeah. Oh my gosh. Okay, enough about that. I have been through anger management, I do have a diploma. I am it doesn't work. You better watch yourself. You better watch yourself. Um, I have that pillow. So speaking of murders and killers and serial killers, not that we weren't we were really speaking of that, but potential, I don't know. Anyways, have you guys heard about the theory of Garth Brooks, which of course his birth name is Chris Gaines, which to me sounds just like a serial killer hundred percent name. Yeah, and he that he is a serial killer. So this is what I know. Wait a second, how did you guys hear this?

This is what I know all over the place for years now. Yeah, it's been all over. So, what I know is there every single town he plays in. Well, maybe not every single, there's a lot.

Every single time, and let me tell you this too. He also, okay, it started out with a joke from Tom Segura because somebody had put this together or said something, and he let it out on his podcast. And then people are like, I'm looking into this. Yeah, they did, and so every single concert to your date for years when he just he started even, there was a murder in the same town. And they was looking it up, but he also after that let after that all got out, he owned a huge compound in Oklahoma out in the middle of nowhere. This compound had it with tons of acreage, it had very tall fences with electrical wire, all of that at the top of it and everything. After these rumors started getting out and people were investigating this, he sold that property ASAP.

Yeah, and when you look into it, people are talking about how, and and some people that like have psychology degrees and psychologists that have looked into this are saying that they really feel like he has an altered ego. So, which of course you're gonna have a stage name, whatever if you're gonna, but maybe that Chris Gaines is a different personality than what Garth is. So that that part of it's very interesting, too.

Yeah, well, and then Michelle's maybe vagina, which was okay. I'm gonna tell you guys I had a client yesterday.

I said, We had one whole, we had an episode about um meeting vaginas and how when you get older they get meetier, and she goes, Oh my god, I have that. And I'm like, She's like, I don't know what to do. And I was like, Oh my god, that is so funny. So she's like, I'm listening, I'm going home and listening right now to all of you. I was like, People don't know we're fun. I mean, we are so much fun, we're so fun, so much fun. Even just out here when they talk about hair, we still throw in some funness. Yeah.

It's been absolutely amazing since Fermaglow. Um, Tessa actually asked me last night why I was in my recliner bedroom and she was in her bedroom. She's texted me from five feet away. Um, she said, Hey, send me a picture before and after of Fermaglow. So I went back to so we started with Fermaglow January of Yeah, there was a big difference. Holy shit. We started, you know, January 25. We didn't get our sample products till what March. We had a few sample products before, and then the product came out, you know, in September. So from using it sparsely half the year and then regularly ever since then. I mean, the length has doubled, but the biggest thing I see when I go to work, sometimes I wear overalls. I'm a lineman. Um, I wear overalls sometimes, but I wear jackets, and the front layer of it would break off. And then I tell us, we gotta cut this damn thing. It looks stupid. None of it's breaking off here now. It's got all one straight layer. But yeah, it's it's Awesome, the look, the feel, the touch.

So, what are you using on yours? Are you doing the invigorate shampoo and conditioner with the elixir?

What's like your routine? I wash my beard probably twice a week and I I alternate um almost 50-50 between the men's invigorate and the vitality. I'll kind of go back and forth. I might use the men's a little bit more than the vitality, but I use both those. Um, I do notice like if I use the men's for a while and then I go to the vitality, I get that super mind-blowing softness again. And then I'll go back and it's you know the same way with the men's. But that's what I use for that. Um, I use the elixir some. I need to use it more, but I'm a horrible person to remember to go do that. But then every single morning, um, two or three drops of the oil and one spray of the tangler in my hand, and I run it through my beard and then run a pig through it, and that's that's what I've been doing.

That's awesome. And the other day, you did you did wash it with moisture life, right?

Um, I won time with moisture light. And it was super duper.

Super duper. Super duper. So duper. I noticed a huge I I noticed that he used something that he didn't normally use. So yeah, it's so cool how versatile all these products are, or even a man's face. Yeah. Um yeah. It's it's just awesome how different. So, you know, if you you will get your man hooked on it, wives out there, but it is nice that if they're not going to first buy their own set for themselves, that they can use those products in their beard, and it does wonders for it. But the vitality when he uses it, the you can tell his grays are just you know, you can tell the color, it takes any of that that that buildup or the color buildup or anything or whatever he gets in it that day.

The one thing I do love before Fermaglow's products came out, I was a beard balm guy. You know, that kind of waxy, buttery type stuff. And I thought it was the best thing ever. But since I learned about Permaglow and how it cleans everything out of your beard, and I started realizing, well, they're right, it looked nice and shiny for like an hour or so. But then I got to thinking that beard bomb, I'm like, wow, that stuff had to have been doing nothing but just building up on my beard.

Yeah, yeah, and now just using that oil. And I need to, I I want to start using that elixir a few times a week, just getting it in my beard um for the growth and the health of it. I try to put some on my head, but I shave it so it doesn't do much different.

And he never we never have kept track of growth on his head because he does just want it shaved. No matter if he could roll back that, he likes to have it shaved. I Craig has just started. He was like, All right, yeah, give me this, give me the elixir so I can put it in my truck. And I'm like, just do it every day. And he was like, I put it in yesterday before he left, and I was like, showed him how to do it, and um, you know, because he's like, I'm a guy, I don't need that stuff. And he has progressively heard like so much more about guys, and he was like, I'll be the next, me and Adam. I'll be with Adam in the in the men's section, and I was like, Don't you worry, you will be. So I took a picture of his head, and his head is getting so sparse. We won't talk about the picture. He had gotten out of the shower and I was like taking pictures, and he was like, You can't post those, Monica. And I said, Why? And he was like, I'm naked, and I was like, Well, you can't see anything, it just looks like you don't have a shirt on. He was like, Just get my head. I'm like, You're so stupid. Uh-huh. We need to have an episode with all three of our husbands on. Oh my god, that would be so great! Wouldn't it be so great? I think it would be so neat to do that. So let's see if we can rearrange that. Adam's got got some time over the next few months. Whatever works for your husbands. But I think that would be really cool. And I think hearing, maybe even hearing a perspective from our husbands about the difference, even in us, right? They have seen since we have started this journey.

Well, because Mike's not really involved in all of them. Oh, they look, you know, Adam. Adam's involved in the business, right? But Mike is not. He just sees everything I do, you know, behind the scenes doing this podcast, you know, part of the Skyless Advisory Board, you know, selling the products and helping the BPs and all that jazz. So it would be interesting to get his perspective, like have you guys ask him questions to see what he says. But I will tell you, he swears a lot and he's cocky.

Well, I don't know what I'm gonna say. We're explicit. We're explicitly. Well, it'd be actually be cool because we have three different three different things. Like Adam's all in, Craig, and you know, he knows a little bit more probably than Mike about stuff because like I bounce ideas off of him. And so we'll have three different perspectives. I love it. Yeah, I think that's amazing. So let's definitely get that on the books.

I do have to say, I do read him some of our texts, and I said, you know, my friend Tessa. And now he's like, you know, before he was like, now which one? Like he knows Tesca, Monica, whatever. He knows some people, but he's like, Yeah, I know who you're talking about. I'm like, her ex got attacked by a camel. He was like, what the fuck? I'm like, this is my happiness in her life. This is hilarious. He was dying. I can't think of this excitement in my life.

Why? We were having to get a washing or yeah, a washing machine because that broke this week. And I was like, oh my gosh, has this ex-husband got attacked by a camel at the safari? I just kind of go, is that her real ass life? Or is she just joking? And I was like, no, she's so dead serious. I was like, it's just something that happens in Missouri. It doesn't happen.

I don't think it's Missouri. I think it's her. Like our lives, her life. I mean, every single week, multiple times, something happens, and it's like, only to you. No, it should not happen to anyone else.

It really does. There is some really odd things that happen. And I'm like, what? But the camel attack, I I loved it. And especially we watched A Thousand Pound Sisters. Do you guys ever watch that? Mm-hmm. One of my favorite shows ever. His two. And then, of course, my niece Melandra, we we always talk about it. So one of the characters on there, or she's a real life person, Amy, got attacked by a camel at a safari. I've never heard of anybody getting attacked by a camel. So we have laughed about that forever. And then the night before Isaac was gonna go on that with his dad, and everything, I said, Oh, don't get attacked by a camel. And then Isaac calls me. I'm at work and he can't even breathe. He's like, Mom, mom, dad got attacked by a camel. And I'm like, Yes!

Well, I read something, an article might have been on Facebook or something a few weeks ago. That now you can set up, I don't know if it's called executors or what, but you can set up where certain people will be able to access, do whatever, or you can mark it at your death that you want it locked and no one can touch it, like a memorial. So, like they're actually thinking about that with Facebook. Well, no, that's smart. It's become such a big part of everyone's life.

Um, we lost uh a young man in our town that was literally everything to our town. He just was amazing, emt, firefighter, yeah, everything you could think of, sweetest boy you've ever met. Um, and he passed in a way that it was very unfair, and so there's a trial against these guys. And but these guys had got a hold of his phone and deleted things before, and so now there should be records. They should be able to do that. I was gonna go back in, but now they've got so many rules against it that they can't retrieve the messages legally, they can't do all this stuff. So um, I think that's a great idea that that's okay. But now, after we get out of this podcast, I need to know what happened because now the the person who in my head it's trying to piece all this stuff together, needs all the details. Yeah, it was so we'll have to discuss that very tragic, and we love his parents so much, and um, I think everybody in this town, and Tanya and Sam, if you're listening, everybody in this town um literally after that happened decided to better themselves to live more like sweet Tucker. And you're seeing that all over our town. You're seeing that with the young, the young kids in this town that have also been um blessed with Tucker in their lives. And actually, Tucker saved my son's life the year before that. Oh my gosh. Um that is I literally have and heard heard my call over our call over the scanner, and he looked at his mommy and said, She they need me. And he was the first one here, came through the door and saved my son's life, who is not written on the floor. So we're also so thankful for that. But anyway, yeah, he's an angel, literal, literal angel. There are signs all over our town now, including one at my my salon, one at our city hall, everything that says be like Tucker. And so it's amazing. Yeah, yeah.

He people like that, even in their death, make the biggest impact on the world, even uh well after they're gone, because you know, that's who you should be like. Yeah, yes, yes, well, that is a way to close a podcast.
