So today we are going to be talking about how we truly believe and truly think that Rebecca Yarros is currently writing book four.

Yes. Yeah, just hear us out. I know that there's a lot of things on social media. I feel like it's been going back and forth almost since like what November, December of last year, where people are speculating and is she doing this and know she's writing a contemporary romance and this and that. So we we have thoughts.

Yes. I truly I think that her contemporary romance is completely finished. I agree. I I really I I really believe it. And I don't think that she was giving many hints to that because I think she wanted it to be more of like a surprise for all of us Empyrean lovers. But she has posted stories quite a bit recently regarding how many words she has written that day. So she's posted like 7.5 thousand, 9.4, 9.2, which is insane. She is literally writing like crazy. And just figuratively speaking, if she were if she were writing 7,000 words a day for 30 days, she would finish the book. So the fact that she is writing 7.5, 9.4, 9.2 in one day is insane.

Yeah, even if she were to take some time off, because obviously we know it's not realistic that she's writing 9,000 words. Every single day every single day. But even if she took some time off, it's like within two to three months, she should be done.

Like that is the first draft would be completed.

Yes, that would be very realistic, I think.

Yes, absolutely. And so, you know, that is just obviously she's not telling us what book she is writing, she is just telling us, like, hey, I've wrote this many words today. I'm writing something. Yes, exactly. But okay, on January 21st, she posted on her story that she was working on book four playlist. So we definitely know from that she's diving into book four.

Yes, and so that was January 21st. So then just two days later, on January 23rd, she posted that she was gonna be done with her quote unquote angsty little treat within the next few weeks. Um, hopefully just a couple, and then said that once she was done, she would be again, quote unquote, I'll be back in the Empyrean world for the foreseeable future.

Yes, exactly. So if she literally, that was on January 23rd, if she literally was finishing her inksy little treat, and then says right there, I will be back in the Empyrean world for the foreseeable future. There's like that was two months ago almost.

Yes, and you mentioned to me, because then on February 8th, she posted that she was starting the index cards with the wink emoji. And you put one that for me. Because you told me that she she starts that when she's like plotting it, not like plotting, but her getting her process.

That's like, yeah, like her starting her playlist is like her getting in that mood, getting in that um world, and like being excited and ready for it. I definitely, and I think you know, we are she has many events going on right now. But a lot of those events she is not going to. She is not traveling pretty much at all right now. Um, so I am so sorry if you do not live in Colorado. However, she does have an event coming up on April 8th, and she is hosting a Fourth Wing Nuggets event, uh Denver Nuggets, um, where she is doing another interview with fantasy fangirls. And truthfully, I have a feeling that she is going to give us something in that interview.

Yes, and we are super sad because we tried and tried and tried to get uh VIP for that. And we we ended up getting tickets, but sadly it was not the not the VIP. So we won't be seeing the interview, but we are really hoping that there's gonna be stuff posted online that we'll be able to consume. Yeah, shout out to fantasy fangirls. You are you're you're the real MVP being able to do an interview with Rebecca Yarros.

Yes, which they've done quite a few interviews uh with Rebecca Yarros, and it is amazing every single time. I really enjoy watching what happens and seeing all of the tick TikTok and Instagram clips and everything. Um but I'm very excited. I really, you know, she hasn't been doing interviews, hasn't been going to the events in other um states. So with this being pretty much her next interview event, I really think that it's I feel like it was kind of planned.

Like the timing seems pretty perfect of it's gonna be into April now. She she said she was starting in January, like not flat out saying that she's starting it, but we knew at the end of January that she was moving into this world hopefully soon. So it's like, okay, we've had February, we're now into middle end of March. We're gonna be going to this Nuggets game, beginning of April. It's like hopefully there's some sort of update and uh good news for all of us that love this series and have been impatiently waiting for book four.

Impatiently waiting. But she is also doing another event on May 2nd for the uh Colorado Rockies. Um, and she is potentially doing a Q ⁇ A then also, but she is going to be at that event.

Yes, and thankfully we are able to go to that one as well, and we were able to snag the VIP tickets for that one. So very excited to be just in the same breathing room as Rebecca Yaro's. It's gonna be like a little bit of a celebrity moment for us.

We're very excited, and you know we're dragging our husbands and our kids to those events, yes, exactly.

It's a it's a family event, but really it's just for us.

They support us so much. Um, but with that being said, um we would like to throw out a few theories that we might have regarding what's going to happen in book four. Um, so one of the biggest questions leaving Onyx Storm is who is the brother?

Dun dun dun. Who is the brother? Tyra, what are your theories on who the brother is? I have two people. I think that it might be.

Um, I think it's either Brennan or Garrick. I feel like for a lot of people, Garrick is an obvious choice. Um however, in Onyx Storm, when there like I said, there's two scenes that may like I don't know. But in Onyx Storm, when Brennan was trying to save Mira, um and they had Sloane helping, um it literally says something about how Violet just notices a slight color change on Brennan's side, but not on Dane or Sloane's side. She just notices a slight color change with Brennan. But then um going into Garrick, when Garrick was traveling, he was trying to get um oh my gosh.

I've read twice. I've read twice, yes. Um, I actually I ridiculously I just love these books so much. So when I'm like in the mood, I'm like, okay, well, I'll just um I'll just listen to it on audiobook.

Yes, it's your it's your comfort read. Imogen! Oh my gosh. Thank you. I this whole time I'm like, what what is her name?

Yeah, no, he uh so Garrick was going to get Imogen, and when he when they were about to leave that spot when he was about to travel um with her, Imogen notices a slight color change in the ground, I believe. Uh-huh. Um, so I think it has to be one of them. I think that because that color change in the ground that Imogen is noticing, it could have also been that, you know, Venon was draining the earth, and that's exactly why they did have to leave. Um but we don't know. Obviously, I think they're both a great choice. Watch it be both. Watch it be both of them, and we're just like, I thought there was only one.

Well, I saw because I've only read through it once, so I don't feel like my uh knowledge is as good, but I have obviously seen a lot of stuff on social media, and my theory that I am leaning towards is that it's Sawyer. What? Why do you think it's Sawyer? Oh my gosh, no way. Oh unpopular opinion here. I just feel like it's because so with Rebecca Yarros giving all these little like almost like tips or whatever when she's doing these interviews of look out for this or remember this part. Like she she throws out these little things that gives you like a little hint as to who it could be. Um and I think one of the things that she says is look for someone who wasn't there at the end, or something. She says something like that.

Um Brennan, because Brennan wasn't there at the end.

Yeah, because Sawyer is also absent during that time, and I'm like, maybe. I didn't even notice that. And the there was one other thing. What did I put on my notes here?

Oh, because so with the like turning Vinin, um that people were saying that because of his injury that he's like so almost like he has he's uh struggling. He's struggling over losing his having his leg amputated or whatever. Yeah. And that he wants the power to fix himself, and so it's like pulling him into that's like an easy fix, is like if he turns Venin, then he would be able to fix himself. So I feel like it's an un it's an unpopular opinion for sure, but the amount of things I saw on social media, I'm like, it's a good theory. I think that it's that is a good theory. Yeah, because he because what I was seeing, so my notes here it says, yeah, despair over his injury, obviously. He he is not in the final battle, so his absence there, which I think that's one of the main things that Rebecca Yarros talks about.

It's them not being there at the end, but like literally she gives that, and it's like at what point at the end, right? At the very end, very end, or like the battle end.

Yep, and there's so many people who are not there at different points, so it's like it's not a it's not a clear-cut description there.

Yeah, I feel like there at least it's a it's a theory, so we'll see what uh what ends up happening there. But I'm I'm going with Sawyer.

That's my oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. See, I like I I was for sure set on like it's Brennan, it's Brennan, it's Brennan. And then I saw that theory last night about Garrick, and I was like, oh my gosh, it could be Garrick. He's obviously Brennan, but it could be Garrick, and then now you're telling me Sawyer. I'm like, oh my gosh, it could be Sawyer. Oh my gosh. Well, another thing that has been spiraling, making people spiral, um, is Rebecca Yaros has hinted towards us losing somebody that we love in book four. And there's literally like I see stickers and stuff where people's like, if Riddick dies, I'm going insane. Like, like I will not, no, no, we're done. Like, um, so with that being said, I actually thought that it might be Sawyer that we lose.

Well, and remind me, is Riddick the one that gets stabbed and there's like no wound, like no blood? Yes. Because that was another I'm saying Sawyer or Riddick are the brother. That's my that's my my theory. Um, but going into who we're gonna lose, um I don't know why. I just feel like they're all gonna die. I feel like something really terrible is gonna happen because we love all of them so much, but I can't imagine that, especially since we know that there's gonna be a book five in book four. I feel like it does have to be just one of the supporting characters, but one that we love. So I actually do agree. I think it's it's I'm gonna go with the same guess on who the brother is. I think we're going to lose either Riddick or Sawyer. That's my my thought.

Yeah, I was thinking Sawyer, but I think she says um what does she say?

I'm I'm literally looking at it right now. She says something about whoever is going to die um is going to be somebody who like doesn't give much it doesn't add much. So it might be like Mira or something.

Like uh I don't think it's gonna be Mira. Um specifically because it sometimes it doesn't seem like Mira adds much, however, I think she's going to be adding a lot more this next year. Considering was having a relationship with their grandma.

Yes. Oh, that's true. Because she is, yeah, she's definitely leading up into the next part of the story. Um I don't know. We'll figure it out.

The um oh gosh, it the guy who we all love in book one that gets killed. Sloan.

Um I don't think this one would be her either.

This one. I called it. I called it. I think that it's gonna be somebody that we have, I think it's gonna be somebody from the very beginning. So I think it's gonna be somebody like Riddick, Rihannen, Sawyer.

I think it's gonna be one of them. Yep, I'm totally sticking to my I'm calling it for the brother and who's gonna die. Where it's gonna be Sawyer or Riddick on both of those. That's my that's my theory, and I'm sticking to it.

But going into the next question, why is Terran so tired at the end? Because we do know by Rebecca Yarros doing an interview, she did say that it is not from traveling.

So what could it be?

The biggest theory I've seen going around is that Terran and Scale um broke their mating bond.

And I don't know.

I think that that's a possibility. Um but reading up to this far, it feels like that's been kind of an impossible thing for to do. They've been mates for a very long time, and I feel like separating that mating bond would kill them.

But maybe But it's a possibility.

Maybe that's what's happening. Yeah, it's a possibility. I I can't think of any other reason why Taryn would be so tired.

Yeah, sadly, I don't have any any thoughts on that one. I'm I'm interested to see what happens, but I don't have a theory.

But the next one, what is going to happen to Zaydan? So we know that this is going to be his villain era because that is what Rebecca Yarros said. You know, be prepared for Zaydan to be in his villain era.

I know, but I I think that by the end of book four, there's going to be a cure, and Zaydan's gonna be cured.

I agree. I think that book four is gonna be heavily leaning into him pretty much on the verge of being totally gone. And then he's gonna someone's gonna swoop in and save him right at the very end.

But I I'm sad for what that means for him and Violet, because I think they're gonna have a little bit of a tumultuous time in book four.

Yes. Yeah, I think it's gonna be a roller coaster of emotion.

But he's got he's gotta get healed. He has got to get healed.

Oh, he has to. Um and then what does Eric's signet do? Um so we know what Eric's signet is.

Which I forgot what it's called. Let me look it up. I'm trying to find it too. Pre-cogni precognition? Yes.

So he it's the ability to see the future. Or see into the future, I should say.

Yeah, which I believe is like it's very rare.

And I think the only other person that they've talked about that has that ability is General Melgren, right? But this is different from General Melgren's.

Oh, okay. This is the completely different from General Melgren's. Honestly, we don't know a lot about Eric Signet. We just know that it's precognition, um, but we don't know the extent of it. We don't know. Of what he can do, yeah. Yeah. Um, but we do know that he is it's similar to General Malgrant, but I think it goes deeper than that. So I really think that in book four, we're going to be getting a lot more of honestly his signet, Violet's signet, and other people's signets too.

Um, but what happened to the dragon eggs? So the biggest theory is that that they took the dragon eggs to um I don't remember where it was, but basically to get an army for help.

What's what's gonna happen? What where did they go? Yeah, like there's so many dragon eggs missing. Who took them and where did they take them to, and why did they take them?

Sadly, I don't have any theories on that one either, but I'm very interested to see what happens.

Yes, one of the other big things that I've seen floating around social media is the point that people keep bringing up is that Justinia is the one who is writing the book.

So yes, it literally says the following text has been faithfully, faithfully transcribed from Navarian into the modern language by Justinia Nealwart, curator of the scribe quadrant at Bascaith War College. So does that mean that everybody's gone, or is that just she's just the scribe, so she's the one who's telling the story? I feel like it's it's uh there could be underlining underlying meaning there.

Um well, and I also think that it's like pretty much been like, oh, this is Violet's point of view. This is all Violet's point of view.

But technically, it's just Cynia's point of view. It's just Cynia's, yes, she is the one who is writing it.

So and she is the one transcribing it. Do we know that she's transcribing it correctly? Do we know that she is being honest about it? Not only that, but why what's the new Navarian what is the new language? What is the new modern language? Um yeah, and not only that, but is Violet the original author?

Yeah, who is she transcribing it for? Like what is the original story coming from?

I could argue, you know, it's probably Violet. However, is it?

Well, yeah, because I think there's things that are uh happening where you think that Violet may not uh have full memory of what is happening. So how could it be her true account if her memory is being wiped?

Yes. I honestly I I love Justinia, but what if she turns?

Yeah, what if she's bad? What if her and Sawyer are off together being Vin?

But I even I I feel like even too, like, um, what if Sawyer does die in this next book and that's what turns Justinia bad? Yes. So never know Justinia might never be bad. But I mean No, it we we will know.

We just have to wait for the book to get back. We just have to wait.

We just have to wait. Justinia, are you bad? The people want to know. And then a big theory that I've seen going around is that are Venon actually bad?

Right. Who's the bad are the dragons the bad ones? Are Venon the bad guys?

Are like who's actually the bad ones? I don't think the dragons are bad. Oh no, they should be. I think that there's I think that some dragons are. Yeah, I think there's something happening behind the scenes that we don't know about yet. I think so too. I think so too, but I don't think all dragons are bad. But I have a feeling that there definitely are some bad dragons. Um but as far as venom being bad, I don't know. They sure seem bad. They do, they sure do. And who is truly leading the venom? Yes. I've seen a lot of theories about this one. I've seen um that it's people have mentioned, like, oh, maybe it's Satan's dad. And then people have mentioned, oh, maybe it's um Violet's dad. Yeah, maybe it's Violet's dad, but then at the same time, it's like uh who's the guy that saved Brennan? Nolan. Nolan. Yeah, people have theorized that it's Nolan, that Nolan's not actually dead. Yeah, yeah.

I could see see him turning too. I feel like there's there's just so many options. That's what I love about these books, is it just keeps you guessing.

And that once you read it, you're like, oh my gosh, I should have known. I should have known. Look at all of these hints that were given to me. But I think that's what is amazing about it is that there's so many hints to stuff, but you never know until you know.

Exactly. No, Rebecca Yarros is a freaking mastermind. She is one of the best authors, I think, ever, just in the fact that she put so much thought, and it's not just a cut and dry story, like everything ties together, and she seriously, she that's why it's like, yes, we're impatiently waiting for the next book, but we will wait, and we will wait as long as it takes because we know it's gonna be worth it.

So and we'll continuously be thinking about it until it's here. Like we're never not gonna think about it. And I like I said, I I I feel like these books truly are books that I will probably read every year. Like well, and I think every year it's just so it's so like it's still so good.

Yes, I need to go through and do a reread, and I'm not a huge rereader, but I feel like these books specifically, especially since this is the only fantasy series that I've read, I just don't know that there's gonna be anything that ever compares to it because the care you love the characters so much. You love the world that they're in. You can like picture all the things that are going on. You wanna know what's gonna happen next, but you're not uh it's like from I saw one TikTok the other day where it was like usually when you start a fantasy book, kind of like what we talked about with Quicksilver, is the first half of the first book is like world building and all this. It's like so long and drawn out and kind of boring. Yes, but they have to do that so that you can kind of like see where you are and all this stuff. With Fourth Wing, it was from the very beginning. It was oh yeah, you're in it, you know what's happening, you're invested in these characters, and it just freaking runs from there.

Yes, it just pulls you in immediately from the start.

It is just like she's a genius.

Oh yeah. I don't think I've ever had a book pull me in from the start like that.

Never. Not not on this level by any means. Even because I've talked about it before, like Nicholas Sparks is my jam. I love him, I love his books, but even those, you do have to give it a little while for you to let it build up and get really invested. Fourth, the fourth wing series, it is on a it's on another level. I cannot wait for this next book. I hope that there's some sort of launch party that we can go to. Oh I can't wait for the game.

Yes, I can't wait for the Nuggets game to see if we get any information there. I can't wait for the Rockies game. I it's just all of it is gonna be so exciting. And like I said, the fact that we're going to the Rockies game and Rebecca Yaris is going to be there, like in the same space. I am going to be fangirling so hard. I'm gonna have to scroll over anybody. I cannot wait.
