Welcome to In the Playroom, the podcast where the doors are open, the lights are low, and nothing is off limits.
SPEAKER_04We're your host, Jason Stephanie. Each week, we're bringing you honest, unfiltered conversations from our personal journeys to the swinging lifestyle.
SPEAKER_02Just a heads up, we are not professionals, therapists, or lifestyle experts. What we share here is based on our own real experiences. The good, the awkward, and the absolutely unforgettable.
SPEAKER_04Whether you're curious, already exploring, or just love hearing what goes down behind closed doors, you've got a place right here with us.
SPEAKER_02So kick off your shoes, pour a drink, and step into the playroom.
SPEAKER_04Welcome or welcome back to In the Playroom Podcast. I'm Jason.
SPEAKER_02And I'm Stephanie.
SPEAKER_04And today we are hanging out with some awesome people. Uh, we are actually in New Orleans for Naughty, the Naughty event, Naughty in New Orleans. And we're here with Shameless Care. We're here with Anna and Robert. So thank y'all. First, I just want to say thank y'all so much for coming on the show and just taking the time to sit down and talk to us. So that really does mean a lot to us. So before we begin, uh just go ahead and give our listeners uh just a little who you are, where y'all from, what do y'all do, everything else like that.
SPEAKER_01Well, we live just outside of Chicago and um you know started Shameless Care because I had a situation with an STI test that said that I was STI free when I wasn't, and then I immediately spread an STI that it claimed I was negative for, and that annoyed me quite a bit, as you might imagine. So I uh I dropped everything and and started shameless care, and and I think that um you know it's just something where we love the lifestyle and we love the people in the lifestyle. And I think people who have been around the lifestyle, it's hard not to fall in love with the people. And so when you see an obvious problem, you want to try to fix it.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely. So you started shameless based on your experience within the lifestyle. Is that what I'm hearing?
SPEAKER_01Yes, exactly. So in the lifestyle, and I had gotten an STI test, which I had gotten every six months. That's just a schedule that I had picked, but it wasn't really the schedule that was the problem. I had gotten this STI test, it said I was negative for everything, including gonorrhea. And then I had a partner text me and tell me that I had given her gonorrhea, which I was really surprised by because A, I felt fine, and B, I'm looking at a negative test result, and she said, Have you ever been throat swab tested? And I thought, what the hell is that? I had never been throat swab tested. And then I did some research and I found that that oral gonorrhea is much more common than genital, and it's only detected with throat swabs. And I just thought, well my God, what are we doing? I mean, not just swingers, but almost everybody enjoys having unprotected oral sex. And then if we tell people to go get tested and they're not being tested for the things they're most likely to have, that just struck me as like a fundamentally wrong thing that that could be fixed with just some education and and things like that. So here was yeah, so here we are.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, absolutely. Uh yeah, so you started it based off of that. So I got a couple questions for you. When it comes to when it comes to shameless care, what how is it how is it different from let's say your typical doctor or other mail-in results, like or mail-in test kits?
SPEAKER_00Well, I can answer the clinical side of that because I work in the medical world and my my day job, you know, my muggle job, I guess you would say. I love the fact that you said muggle. So nerd inside and out over here. But you know, if you go to your doctor, and a lot of times if you're in the lifestyle, you have to say, hey, I had sex with four different people this weekend, and this is what we did. And there's a lot of fear and judgment in that. Talking to a provider openly about that is not an easy task. So having the opportunity to work with the doctors at Shameless Care is different because it's a sex positive healthcare team. You don't have to worry about people looking down their nose at you. You don't have to worry about that fear of them saying, What you did what? Like there's not going to be any of that, which is just kind of a burden taken off of your shoulders right away. And the other thing that's really nice is, you know, working in the medical world for 17 years now. I know if a patient were to say, hey, doc, this is what I've got going on, test me for everything. Well, let me tell you, there's no magic button in your EMR system or your electronic medical records that say, give me the works. So we have to enter in every single site we want to do testing for and click every single infection we want to test. We have to know what swabs to use. We have to see if the swabs are expired. There's so many failures that occur. And you can go to six different doctors and get six entirely different tests. So even if you do go to your doctor, even if you do say, oh no, my doctor's fine, they've got no problems with me being in the lifestyle, it does not mean you're gonna get testing in all the places you should be tested and for all the things you should be tested for at each site. Because I'll be very honest, the education in medical school or for me, PA school when it came to STIs was lacking big time. I have learned so much being in the lifestyle and being with shameless care. I would have never known to do an oral swab on a patient who was having oral sex with people until later on, or even an anal swab. I would have thought about that for some people with certain kinds of sex, but not for heterosexual men or things like that, because you can have those infections even if you don't have anal play. So those are the things that even if you go to your doctor, you're not always going to be tested as thoroughly as you'd hoped.
SPEAKER_04Okay. So when it comes to y'all's panels, like your test kits, what is there different versions of them? What do they include? Everything else like that.
SPEAKER_01We have four different versions, but I really think that, you know, we started the company because of a a missed opportunity and me harming somebody else that was completely preventable because the STI test just wasn't thorough enough. And so we have a 14-panel test that we feel like is very thorough, and we feel like that's what people should order. We have smaller panels, not because we're trying to find something for everybody's budget and oh, you don't have much money, so go ahead and buy this, even though it's not going to detect everything you might have. Those smaller panels are designed for things that regular physicians often miss. So let's say somebody's in the military and they have TRI-CARE, but the doctor won't do throat swabs, for example. Okay, well then we'll just sell you the throat swabs if you want to. But but we don't want to just have something where, you know, people who don't know about oral swabs, okay, here's a test without oral swabs then for 60 bucks. Like let's sell something. That's not what we do. So we have the smaller panels, but they're really designed to augment more comprehensive testing.
SPEAKER_04So another question is when it comes to testing, can you get is there such a thing as being tested too early?
SPEAKER_01Yes, absolutely. And when people are researching this, like if they want to use Chat GBT or Google, the the key phrase is window period. So window period is how long after exposure until you can actually conclusively test positive or negative and know that you can trust that status. And that's different for all of the different STIs. You know, most of them like gonorry and chlamydia, a couple weeks. Um HIV testing, I think, is typically about three months. But it varies by the by the STI, certainly.
SPEAKER_04Okay. You want to ask that one?
SPEAKER_02I am. So what infections are frequently overlooked?
SPEAKER_00Oh, this is my favorite. Uh I can tell you this because I went in for a test in my primary care doctor, and I said, I even brought in a list because if you go to shamelesscare.com, we already have a list of all the things you should be tested for and what sites you have. So I brought that list to her and I said, Hey, I want all of these done in all these spaces. She said, sure, no problem. Did all the swabs in all of the areas and the blood test and the urine test, all of these simples, and got my results back a few days later. And she never tested me for trichomonis, which is an extremely common STI in the world, and it's missed very, very frequently, as well as something called Mycoplasma genitalium, which again, I hadn't heard of in medical school or PA school. I couldn't pronounce that. So yeah, it's another frequently missed infection, and it can mimic things like UTI symptoms or BV symptoms. It's sometimes it has zero symptoms whatsoever. So it's one of those things where you're not going to know you have these things all the time, and they're missed very frequently, especially in sexually active women.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. I would the only thing I would add to that list is oral gonorrhea. So 86% of the positive gonorrhea cases that we've seen at shameless care are oral only. And it's really important that your listeners know that a genital test would have just called those people negative, and they would have, of course, spread gonorrhea probably the very next time they had sex.
SPEAKER_04So when it comes to like the STIs or STDs, SDIs, what about HPV? Because HPV is, I think is what, like 80% of people have it without even realizing it. Am I correct on that?
SPEAKER_01Well, it's extremely common. It's been called the common cold of the sexual health world or the glitter, because everybody knows if you opened up a package of glitter in your hotel room, it would just go everywhere and you would never be able to contain it. Yeah, HPV is a tricky one. The statistics are that essentially everybody that's sexually active is going to be exposed, you know, once or twice, or maybe even more than that in their lifetime. 7% of people, as we're walking around right now, not 7% of people, not in New Orleans, 7% of people just all over have an oral HPV infection right now. So it's extremely common. But, you know, thank God that we have a vaccine which can really help to protect people.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we did the three series vaccine, and I mean, they didn't even recommend it for me because I was already over the age, but I was like, I don't care, I still want it. Like, just go ahead, give it to me. If it does something, you know, if if it helps not spreading it, by all means, I'll take that 1%, you know, whatever else like that. So awesome. So question. Um when it comes to let me see. Oh yeah. When it comes to the conversations, talking, and this is this is a big thing for me, is because I want I'm I wish it was more normalized to talk about STDs, SDIs, test results, and everything else like that. How do you give some tips on how to just even bring up that conversation within like just to your partners, your potential play partners, people you've already played with, people that you are looking to play with or hoping to play with.
SPEAKER_00Well, one thing I love about the shameless care panel in particular is how easy it is to read if we're having that conversation. So, you know, with that shameless care profile, you're gonna have every single test and every single site that was tested, and it's gonna see positive or negative next to it. So what I do when I get my test results, I do a screenshot. And so when I'm about to enter play with a person, I'll say, Hey, these are my test results. Did you want to talk about them first? And that way they can just instantly take a look at my phone, see exactly what I have tested positive or negative for, and it's just right there. It's a tool they can use immediately, and it's so easy to read, it's so simple, it's really nice.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, exactly. So what I I have a strong opinion about this, which is that I've I've had this conversation with with people over the years, and when you ask them, have they been tested recently? They say yes, because almost everybody in the lifestyle is getting some form of STI testing. And then when you ask them what they were tested for, they'll say everything. And then you'll say, Okay, what what was everything? They'll say, Oh, you know, a full panel.
SPEAKER_04And then and then what is a full panel.
SPEAKER_01And then I'll ask, okay, were you throat swab tested? And they go, No, what is what is that? So that's always the problem is you have to get specific when you're talking. Like if there's a list of infections, because no one is going to be tested for everything, really. So if if this is really a deciding factor for you on if you're gonna have sex with someone or not, then you need to ask specific questions and and and think about what you can live with and what you can't.
SPEAKER_04And I think it's actually just good to rip the band-aid off asking that question. That's something like hey, yeah, like early on for it. Like, hey, um, you know, we're interested, obviously. We've been chatting, we've been flirting. Let's just go ahead and talk about this. And I mean, honestly, if someone's gonna go, oh, yeah, whatever, you know, they don't want to really talk about it, at that point we're gonna exit from the conversation. Uh but okay, so how do you feel or why do you think some people feel ashamed about STDs, SDIs, and even just getting tested?
SPEAKER_00Well, I'll I'll start with this one. And you know, Robert and I have been to HETO a few times. Uh hedonism, it's a sex positive resort in Jamaica for any of your listeners who've not heard about it. And one of the most common things that spreads at these events is strep throat, right? Because you're talking to people, you're face-to-face with people, you're kissing people, and all these things. And that is one of the most common things people go home with is strep throat. Are you going to be ashamed of getting strep throat when you're at these events? And the answer is no, it's strep throat. It's something you treat with an antibiotic. And that's also true about a lot of STIs. They're just something you treat with an antibiotic. So I think that's one of the mind frames you have to kind of get over that hurdle for. Is sure it's something that has a sexual connotation, but it's treatable. And that's where people tend to let the anxiety take over instead of reality take over.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, people, I mean, it's hard to know why there's a stigma, but but it it should be gone at this point. I mean, these are this is just not, and this is coming from a guy that sells STI tests, but these are just not a big deal. I mean, for people who are at high risk of HIV now, you have you know, medication that can take that risk to practically zero. Almost all of these things are treatable, preventable. There's no reason for people not to live their life and whatever kind of sex life they want to have. It's 2026. You can do it and not really have to worry about these negative consequences.
SPEAKER_02Well, I love that you took my question. Oh, I'm so sorry.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, her next question was how can we move, how can we remove that negative stigma about testing?
SPEAKER_03I just I like giving people heart takes.
SPEAKER_04So when it comes to prevention, uh besides condoms, what what are some of the other strategies you can use?
SPEAKER_01Well, vaccines are critically important. You know, in in 1981, there was the hepatitis B vaccine. It became a regular part of childhood vaccinations, I think, in 91, something like that. So anybody who's listening to me right now who's like 25, 30 years old, you've probably been vaccinated. If you're older than that and not in healthcare, you maybe haven't. It's not too late to do that. Hepatitis B is about 50 to 100 times more infectious than HIV. Of course, we've already talked about the HPV vaccine. If you have not got the HPV vaccine, I would turn off your podcast device now, call your doctor and try to get that. And if you're over the age of 45, you can still get it. You're just gonna have to pay for it. And you might have to doctor shop. You might have a doctor or two that turns you down, but please keep pursuing it. It's critically important. The news on that vaccine just keeps getting better and better. And then something else that people should strongly consider is what's called doxypep, and that is the antibiotic doxycycline, which has been around. Trust me, if you're listening to this right now, you've taken doxycycline at some point in your life, maybe for acne or something like that. And you take a single dose within 72 hours after sex, and it pretty dramatically lessens your likelihood of contracting gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis. Of course, if somebody had one of those things. And for example, chlamydia is extremely common. One in 15 sexually active young women in the United States has chlamydia right now as we're having this conversation. The numbers are really high. But guess what? Doxip reduces your risk by about 80 to 85 percent. So it's a really powerful tool that, you know, hundreds of thousands of people are using across the country now, including probably hundreds of people here at Naughty, New Orleans. And I just think that's fantastic news.
SPEAKER_00One other thing I did want to say about DoxyP, again, from a female perspective, is that a lot of times we worry about, hey, if I'm taking an antibiotic, is this going to give me bacterial vaginosis or yeast infection? Those kinds of things, because antibiotics do mess with our flora. But what's nice about doxycycline is that one dose of it, studies have been done, it does not increase your risk of BV, of a fungal infection, anything like that. So you don't have to worry about your flora getting set off because of one dose of an antibiotic. And it yeah, it's so cool. You don't have to worry about that other drama that if you had to take the full 14 days or anything like that, you might have that kind of an issue. So it's it's very nice, nice and reassuring.
SPEAKER_02So walk us through what it's like after like you order a test and then what all do you do?
SPEAKER_01Okay. Well, if somebody orders a test from shamelesscare.com, one of the things that's different about us is we have a team of board certified physicians. So if somebody lives in Texas, for example, then a a real doctor who's licensed in the state of Texas is going to review that person's medical information. And that includes things like other medications that you might be on, allergies. Are you on HIV preventative medication? Have you ever tested positive for syphilis before? These are all really important things that anybody who's ordering STI tests, their physician needs to know this information so they can test them properly. And then that doctor orders the test kit, which goes to the patient's home. They collect the the HIV testing is through a device called AuraQuick where they get the test results right away, which is really cool. And then there's a dried blood spot card for syphilis and some of the other blood tests, and then an oral swab and an anal swab and a urine test. That all sounds really tedious, but it's not. We timed it one time, it took us six minutes.
SPEAKER_00Well, it took me nine because I couldn't bleed onto the card, but it took you six. You you beat the pants off of me for that one.
SPEAKER_01And then you you drop it in the mail, and two days after it reaches the mail, the test results are in. The physician who introduces himself or herself to you by video, it's your doctor, it's your shameless care doctor from then on, which is really cool. You can ask them all the questions you want through our messaging system. They get your results. You're probably going to be negative if you are positive for something that's easily treatable. Trichomonis, mycoplasma genitalium, gonorrhea chlamydia. That doctor then sends the prescriptions to the pharmacy that you chose when you ordered your test. Um, and that's completely complimentary. You can just swing by the Walgreens or wherever and pick those up. And you know, case closed, you're you're cured and life goes on.
SPEAKER_02That's awesome. And you also just answered my next question.
SPEAKER_04So it but with the test results, are they that they are confidential?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, absolutely. So, you know, our website is HIPAA compliant, legit script certified. Um, you know, we're a real telehealth company. If people have heard of like hims, hers, these sorts, I mean, that's what shameless care really is. And so everything is completely, you know, encrypted and data protected. Your conversations between you and your doctor, our conversations between you and your doctor, you're just doing it through our messaging system, essentially.
SPEAKER_04Now, I do uh I know when when we first started becoming affiliates uh with Shameless Care, I actually got on y'all's website and I was reading some of your articles about like the blue chew, what's different. So explain to our listeners what they're really taking when it comes to blue chew.
SPEAKER_01Well, you know, and it's not just blue chew, it's it really any compounded medication. And a compounded medication is is a medication where some things are mixed together, or you take an active ingredient and make a new formulation out of it. The best example I can think of is like veterinary medicine. So imagine you have a cat and you need to give this cat allergy medicine, but the cat won't take the allergy medicine. You might have a veterinary compounding medicine take compounding pharmacy take the allergy medication and mix it up with like some tuna flavoring or something. That would be like what a compounding pharmacy does. Blue chew is essentially sildenophil or todolophil mixed up into a chewable tablet, and that's great, but that's that's really essentially what it is. And so, for example, there's a new one called Blue Chew Gold, which is sildenophil, todolophil, apomorphine, and oxytocin. Nobody needs to remember what those are. But those are four really commonly available, inexpensive active pharmaceutical ingredients that are mixed together. There's nothing special or unique about that. Likewise, we have a couple called shameless duo. That's syldenophil and todolophil mixed together. Again, nothing special about that either. I just think people need to think about these things not in terms of brand names, but in terms of what's actually in the medication, because that's just a smarter way, you know, to think about it.
SPEAKER_04Okay. So, real quick, I kind of skipped because we were gonna go to a break and then we were gonna talk about the other part of shameless care. So when it comes to uh not just STD, STI testing, but also uh ED treatment and arousal cramps. So we're gonna take a quick break and uh we'll we're gonna listen to some commercials. You'll you'll actually hear our promo code on shameless care. And then yeah, we'll we'll come right back into it and we'll talk about the uh the not the STD part. We would like to take a minute to talk about something really important in the lifestyle. Sexual health.
SPEAKER_02Yes, communication and consent are huge parts of the lifestyle. But staying on top of your health is just as important.
SPEAKER_04That's why we're excited to tell you about Shameless Care. They provide sex positive health care designed for people who want discrete, judgment-free testing and support from an actual certified physician.
SPEAKER_02And one of the things we love about them is that they actually understand the lifestyle community. Their testing options are comprehensive, private, and designed to make it easy to stay proactive about your health.
SPEAKER_04And let's be honest, the easier testing is, the more likely people are going to actually do it.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. Taking care of yourself and your partners is one of the most responsible things you can do in the lifestyle.
SPEAKER_04So if you're looking for convenient, confidential sexual health service, check out Shameless Care.
SPEAKER_02Because confidence in the playroom starts with confidence in your health. And by using promo code ITP at checkout, you can get $15 off.
SPEAKER_04One more thing before we get back to the show. If you do not have an SDC, please feel free to get one using our promo code 37673. By using that code, it'll get you one month free of premium access. Seek Discover Connect. I honestly think that it is the best website for ethical non-monogamy or lifestyle. That code again is 37673. Now back to the show. Alright, welcome back, welcome back. Hopefully y'all enjoyed the commercials. Y'all got our promo code. Please use our promo code ITP at uh shameless care and get you $15 off your first order. So we talked before the break, we we were talking more or less about the STD SDI testing, but that's not all that y'all do. And I know one of y'all's biggest sellers is going to be the what we like to call swinger insurance, boner insurance, right? We like to talk about all that. Um but what do y'all offer when it comes to that portion of y'all's business?
SPEAKER_01Well, first I just I don't know that that these two are going to say this out loud, but uh they are affiliates of Shameless Care, but they're they're sending all of their commissions to a charity, which I just think is really cool. And we've not had anybody else we've not had anybody else do that, so I just think that's awesome, and your listeners should know that. So yeah, you're sitting here, you know, pumping up Shameless Care, and we greatly appreciate it, and you're throwing out that promo code, but I just think people should really know where that money is actually going and and how kind-hearted that you two are. So so thank you for that.
SPEAKER_04Um you're gonna make us cry. Thank you. Thank you so much. But yeah, so talk to us about uh, you know, what like the ED portion of it and then the arousal cream because I really want to try, I really want to get her some some arousal cream.
SPEAKER_00Well, I'll talk about the lady stuff, but you want to start with the guy's stuff?
SPEAKER_01Sure. Well, we have Sildenophil and Todolaphil, the generic, you know, the FDA-approved generics of Cialis and Viagra, and people probably know what those are, so I'll spare you the details on those. And then we have Shameless Trio, which is um sildenophil, todolophil, and apomorphine. Apomorphine sounds really scary. We had a guy yesterday over at the booth who's like, oh, I get drug tested. I can't take it's it has nothing to do with morphine, it just sounds like it does. And essentially it's a it used to be an ED medication itself in the UK called Euprima, but part of what it does is is is subtly, I will say, subtly, but it does increase your arousal. And and so it mimics dopamine in the brain for a few minutes and it metabolizes and goes away. So that's shameless trio. Shameless duo is a very high dose of sildenophil and todolophil. Um, and again, that's Viagra and Cialis, those generic equivalents.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna just interrupt him real quick. I want to tell you how powerful this stuff is because it's a funny story, and I think your listeners will appreciate this a whole lot. Um, one of my side jobs, I when I'm not injured, like I am now, I teach pole dancing classes and I teach about three hours in the night, so I'm gone for quite some time. And Robert took a dose of this shameless duo, and again, it's pretty powerful stuff. And without knowing, he started watching a Marilyn Monroe movie. And I get a phone call on my way home, and he's like, How far are you from being home? Because I am more than ready for you to be here.
SPEAKER_01Just an old school black and white. Like I didn't even realize it was it that that would have made me arouse, but I was so highly medicated that it really didn't take much. And uh, yeah, absolutely so.
SPEAKER_00I was like, Oh, great, three hours of teaching, and okay, here just round four, here we go.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, so those are the primary, those are the primary ED medications, and you know, people are are probably getting commercials from Blue Chew and HIMS and things like that. We're considerably less expensive, but I think the main difference is that those companies are essentially selling subscriptions, they're all subscription-based. That's that's how they can spend so much money on advertising. I really just personally dislike subscriptions. We're not selling heart medications, nobody's gonna die if they run out. But subscriptions work because people forget about them. And all of your listeners can raise their hand right now if they've ever forgotten about a subscription and then seen that charge hit their credit card.
SPEAKER_04Oh, it's every month. Every month. I'm like, dang it, I thought I canceled that TV subscription.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and the lesson learned for me is we used to have subscriptions, but in 2023, 26% of our payments failed. 26% over a quarter. And the number one reason was insufficient funds. I can see that on the credit card processor. And it just made me think, what the hell am I doing? Like, these are clearly people who didn't know this auto charge was getting ready to hit. What if they had a hundred bucks in there and I just happened to get their last hundred bucks? Because these were people who clearly didn't even have a hundred dollars in their account, and yet I tried to charge them anyway because they were on a on a subscription. And so we canceled the subs we got rid of the subscriptions completely, and now only six percent of our payments fail. And so I just I'm tired of this subscription economy, and and so we're just checking out of it entirely.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's awesome. That's awesome. When it when it comes to uh the duo and the trio I know whenever I take cdenophil, my head feels like it's about to explode. Um is that common and what are some tips to be able to alleviate that?
SPEAKER_01It's it's not common, but I think people, again, like I said earlier, when you talk about a shameless trio, it's really just a combination of its parts. So it has sildenophil, it has tidalophil, so it's probably going to affect you in the exact same way as if you just took a Viagra or a sildenophil. I just want to be really clear about that because these things are not special or magical or anything like that. So people just react differently. You know, some people take Cialis and get horrible muscle pain, hip pain, joint pain. That's uncommon. But for some men, every time they take that medication, that happens. Some people take sildenophil and get you know blurry vision. That's unusual, but that's you know, some people get that. And and if that happens to you, you know, that's gonna happen no matter where you're getting your medication. Shameless care, blue chew, ham's row, your primary care doctor, anything like that.
SPEAKER_00And what's kind of neat is because through shameless care, you're prescribed this through a medical doctor, you can tell them, hey, when I take this, this is what happens, and you can get feedback from them. Maybe they can give you a lower dose. Like you get that feedback instantly, which is very nice.
SPEAKER_04Because if I take a hundred, I am I my head feels like it's about to just bust. So tell us about the uh the arousal cream and what what's there for the ladies?
SPEAKER_00Yes, we have so many great products for women, which again is very unique in this world. Uh now, for the people who don't want to take something systemically, we do have topical cream, and that has uh topical sildenafil. So it's basically Viagra that you can apply to the labia havers. If you have a labia, you can put it there, never inside, but out externally. It also has two other ingredients that help with blood flow and sensation. So it just helps increase what you feel and the intensity of that. The sildenophil again helps dilate those blood vessels, brings more blood flow to that region. So just think about a more engorged sexual genitalia. That's what we get as women, which is kind of nice. And again, it's not one of those things where it's going to be mind-blowingly different. You're not gonna be, you know, wanting to just hump every pillow that you see if you put this stuff on, but it does absolutely increase some of that sensation, which can make a big difference sometimes. If you're just looking for a little bit of a boost, it's a big deal. It's very, very nice. Um, we also have shameless desire, and that's another under the tongue, tongue troche, which is something that melts under the tongue. And that again has apomorphine, oxytocin, and it also has sildenophil. Uh, and it's, or is it todophil? Todolaphyll, sorry. And it's again two, three ingredients all work to help improve opening up the mind a little bit. Like oxytocin is what we call the cuddle hormone. It makes you want to lean in, it makes you want to flirt a little bit more, but it's subtle. It's not like all of a sudden you're gonna be hitting on Joe Schmoe, who's yeah, who, yeah, correct. You're gonna still have all of your mental faculties. It just opens you up a bit more and it just helps relax you and be a little bit better. Like for me, when I take it, the anxiety that I carry about, oh God, oh god, oh god, just goes away. And I'm able to just have more fun, which is really nice. And I don't have to worry about the other things that are constantly rolling in my head.
SPEAKER_02So with a tab so you can enjoy the night. Correct. Exactly.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's really nice. It's really, really nice. Um, we also have some nasal sprays that are for both men and women. One's called bremolenotide or PT141. A lot of people have heard of this. It's a peptide. And again, it just helps open up the doors in the brain for increasing that sexual arousal. It doesn't make you horny. It can just help open up that door and let that system start to flow. And we also have nasal oxytocin, again, that peptide that just helps, or that hormone that just leans you in, helps get you involved. And again, it's just a nice little additive. It's not, it's kind of like you're adding a little spice to the food. It's not the food, the food is still the substance. We're just adding a little bit of flavoring to it.
SPEAKER_02I love that. I like that.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so when we get through with here, you're gonna have to send us the one that dissolves under the tongue that just will get her out of her head because that's that will be amazing. Actually, yesterday, she was acting a fool. Walking with she was day drinking, and she was just playing music as loud as she can on her phone. I'm like, baby, we're inside the hotel. Like, like we are in an elevator with people. No one wants to hear your music.
SPEAKER_02We were not with people, we were by ourselves.
SPEAKER_04We were behind them walking to the elevator. Okay, so um besides the duo, the trio, and then all the stuff that you mentioned, the peptides under the tongue, is there anything else when it comes to ED or arousal medic medicine? Not when it comes to ED or arousal, no. Okay, so how do you talk to your partner about because I know it can be almost challenging to say, hey, I think you should try some of this. Like, give some tips on how how that can be helpful.
SPEAKER_00Well, we've done several podcasts about the physiology of erectile dysfunction in a playroom situation. Because let's be honest, it's not a natural thing for the human body to be taking in this type of environment, right? It can cause you know, subconscious anxiety. Even if you don't consciously feel that anxiety, you just have your brains just processing there is so much more going on in that situation versus your bed at home, right? It's a totally different world. And because of that, it's going to send messages to your adrenal glands. I won't get into all of the nerdy details because I don't want to put your people to sleep, but essentially it's going to cause adrenaline spikes in the system. And adrenaline is the antidote for erections. So it's one of those things where you can be the hottest guy in the room and the hottest girl in the room. But if that adrenaline level is super duper high, it's really hard to get hard. So it's one of those things where it's kind of a foregone conclusion in this abnormal situation to have these issues. And unfortunately, once it's happened once, you have more anxiety about it, right? Like, oh God, is it gonna happen again? Oh god, is it gonna happen again? And guess what that does? It makes it worse. It makes it worse. So sometimes just having that, like you were saying, that insurance policy, something that helps open up the gates, open up open up that flow, you're gonna have less of that problem and it's gonna be easier to get to where you need to be. So the conversation isn't always about you know, you should try this. You should say, hey, I've recognized we've had some issues, and this might help. And that can be beneficial.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like you said, and then it's it's completely normal. It's completely normal. That is one of the things that I love about companies like Blue Chew and stuff, or people who've seen those ads, like it's it's become a normal conversation to have. But to her point about adrenaline, yeah, I mean, of course you're gonna have adrenaline response when you're in a playroom like Naughty New Orleans with, you know, God knows how many hundreds of people and they're all having sex at once. Like, that's not a normal thing, like she said. So I would say the odds are someone having erectile dysfunction who's not medicated in that situation is very high. And so I think just normalizing it, it it just becomes so normal. Like, well, yeah, obviously you would probably use one of these things, right?
SPEAKER_04So when you were talking about like um anxiety is the antidote to an erection, and another thing that I've noticed is when individuals they can be hard as a rock whenever there's oral going on, but as soon as they put that condom on, it's just it's it's a hard like it's they they struggle. So when it comes to duo and trio, what are what would you recommend for someone that's able to get hard whenever it's when it's oral, have an issue when the condom goes on, and especially whenever you get that anxiety.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I think if your erection is hanging on by a thread and then you have to switch from this primal, like, you know, imagine so everyone can just imagine with me, right? And this would be sexier if you said it, but imagine imagine you're you're sitting on a couch in a hotel room and a and a beautiful woman that you just met, you know, six hours earlier or something, is is straddling you and you're you're making out and it's so hot and and all you want to do is enter her. You know, but first you have to go to your playbag and you have to rummage around and you have to find this condom and then you have to open it up. Like obviously that's gonna that's gonna kill your erection. These medications, you know, it's not a magic bullet for sure, but it makes it so much easier to get and maintain an erection that it's just much less likely that it's gonna go away in in that fleeting amount of time, right?
SPEAKER_00What's also nice with uh the combination of drugs, sodolophil and todalophil, is that there's a short acting and a long acting together. So the todolophil, you can still have impacts the whole next day, even. So it's one of those things where you can have easier erections for a longer period of time or for more rounds versus the sildenophil, which is just, you know, a four to seven hour window depending on the person.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Another thing to think about, and not a lot of people do think about this, is if you've had a big fatty meal right before you take these drugs, they're not gonna work. So don't have, you know, some delicious fried chicken or something right before you do these drugs because they're not gonna absorb as well.
SPEAKER_04I would have never guessed that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it makes sense, but I never would have thought about that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, sildenophil is heavily impacted by a meal. It can reduce the time that it takes to reach its maximum effectiveness by 60 minutes, believe it or not, and reduce its effectiveness by about a third. So if you're somebody who takes 25 milligrams of sildenophil and that normally does it for you, but one night it just doesn't, it it may very well be that that meal you took really reduced its effectiveness. Now, tadolophil's not really impacted by a high fat meal in the same way that sildenophil is.
SPEAKER_04So eat healthy. That's what I'm hearing. Just eat, eat healthy. Eat light, eat healthy. Light, healthy meal. Okay. I know one thing that we have done in the past, and actually we we were doing it recently to get ready for naughty, um, because I knew the anxiety was gonna just destroy me. Um we started playing with condoms with with each other, and not even just that, but just you know not just sex, but also oral hand jobs, everything else like that. Just that way you can build that sensation, you can figure it out, and whatever else like that. So do you got anything else, baby?
SPEAKER_02No, I don't. I'm just oh she's ready to party again.
SPEAKER_03I'm still recovering.
SPEAKER_04She's ready to get one more liquid IV in her and just go walk bourbon street. But so before we leave, I just want to say thank you so much for just taking, you know, the 40 minutes out of your day to to come over here, sit down and talk to us, talk to our listeners, and you know, tell us what shameless care is, what all it has to offer. And y'all are amazing people, and I truly believe in y'all's product.
SPEAKER_01Well, thank you so much, and and it's absolutely our pleasure, and I hope that everybody out there enjoys their life and and has a sexy time because STIs are really nothing to be afraid of in 2026. We live in a pretty magical, pretty magical time, really.
SPEAKER_04I believe it is getting more and more open and accepting. You know, we were walking around the other day, and someone's like, Oh, what is that? You know, actually it was our waitress. We were eating, and she was like, Well, what is that? I was like, Oh, it's it's an event. Well, she ended up looking at it on her phone, googling it, and then came back to our table and was like, So can can I be your plus one? Oh, but it's it's literally getting more and more accepting, and I think it should be. And I I really I love the fact that within the lifestyle too, just talking about STDs and SDIs and testings is getting more normal and it's normalized. And I just think we still have a little bit of work to do on it, but it's it's drastically approved, especially over the 14 years that we've been in the lifestyle.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, I was just about to say ten years ago, no one talked about whether they were tested or if they're clean. If we asked, they would like immediately shut down and stop talking to us.
SPEAKER_00What's also really nice on the shamelesscare.com website, we have an entire learning center. So if any of your listeners are curious or have more questions, everything on there is scientifically based. We don't put our opinion there. It's only we literally post journal articles and things like that for people who really want to get into the data and see what's there. And then we also have a podcast, uh, Sex is good. And again, we again are super nerdy. We just talk about the science and all of that good stuff behind things. So if they're more, if they want more information, because knowledge is power, it's there for them as well.
SPEAKER_04Awesome. Well, I think on that note, uh this kind of wraps up the interview. So what we like to do is we end it with stay safe, stay weird, stay sexy. So we're gonna say stay safe, stay weird, stay sexy, and I want y'all to say, keep swinging those pineapples. Yes. All right, stay safe. I've just completely drew a blank. Okay. All right. Stay safe, stay sexy, stay weird. Keep swinging those pineapples. Bye, y'all.
