SPEAKER_01I am your host, Naomi Van Wyke, and I am so excited to have with us today an amazing hero, Falake Kellogg. Falake, welcome to the show.
SPEAKER_02Thank you so much for having me, Naomi. I'm just so blessed. Thank you for being a voice of truth in this time that is very rare. We need truth tellers. So I feel honored to be a part of this.
SPEAKER_01Well, you you are a truth teller, Falake, and you have so much that you can share. Um, right now, we are just launching a series called the Charlie Kirk Legacy. And Falake and I, we have been, well, we've been running together with a movement called Don't Mess with Our Kids, which is how we first met. And um Falake is just a fiery warrior for the kingdom. She and her husband have started um a church. And the thing that connected me first with Filak was she has two daughters, and their names are Ruth and Naomi. And my name is Naomi Ruth. So I immediately knew Falake and I were supposed to, we were just kindred spirits. Um, but Falake, she is is connected with world leaders, and she is speaking into them and speaking into this next generation. And so Falake, when you and I were talking on the phone the other day and you just were sharing with me about what the Lord had been speaking to you regarding Charlie Kirk. And just he's he's a martyr. He's a modern-day martyr for Christ, like Stephen was in the old in the New Testament. And just some of the things you were sharing with me were just so powerful. And I thought, we we need to have you on the show. Our audience needs to hear what the Lord really, the Holy Spirit, has been downpouring into you about Charlie Kirk's life. And I feel like, you know, we need to keep his message alive. We need to carry out his legacy. And, you know, he was, he was assassinated for speaking the truth. And so the enemy wants nothing more than for it to die with him. But that's why you and I and those watching, I pray that we will carry on that torch and not just Charlie's legacy, but the legacy that God has called us to. And that is to carry the light in this dark world. And Charlie did that so courageously and was so bold at that. And so please just share with us how the Lord started to speak to you about Charlie.
SPEAKER_02Well, thank you so much, Naomi. I had a dream in 2022 about King Josiah and how Josiah was called at the age of eight to be king. Now, this young Josiah did some things. If you ever want to read the stories in the book of 2 Kings 22 from verse 2, so it's a 2, 2, 2, 2. That's the key of David. Yes. Now Josiah was called as a young man. One of the things about Josiah is when he was 16, he asked them to go back and rebuild the temple. While they were in the temple, they found the word of God. And when they found the word of God, Josiah used his life and dedicated his life to follow everything that was written in the word. Suddenly, when Charlie Kirk dies, people started sending me texts saying, Charlie Kirk is the Josiah of our generation. Suddenly, the Lord began to say, Falaket, look at Charlie Kirk's life and parallel it with Josiah. Well, Josiah found the word of God. Let's start with Charlie Kirk. People thought that Charlie Kirk was a political man, but I want to say to you, he was a lover of Jesus Christ. That's where he started. His whole life was lined with the Bible. But what was so happening, what's happened to him is what should happen to us. He was so impacted by the word of God, the love for the Lord, and the fear of the Lord, that it pushed him outside the four walls of the church and put him in the public square. He was a truth teller, and he knew, just like in Josiah, there were the first thing Josiah did was after he saw the truth about God, he went and pulled down every idol that the Israelites worshiped. Baal, Moloch. Look at our modern-day Josiah. He knew there was an ideology that was being fed to the next generation. Instead of sitting in the four walls of the church, which is revival, and we love revival. I believe revival is here. But revival is not sustainable without reformation. Charlie knew that. He had to meet them in the public square. He had to meet them where they were being taught wrong ideology. So he was first a lover of God, a man that loved God. But how can you know God and love God and not bear the fruits of telling the world what God has done? And Charlie could not keep it in. So he had courage. He had a courage in his life that says, I will take what Jesus Christ has done in me, and I'm gonna take it like King Josiah and pull down every ideology, which is what we, the body of Christ, the children of God, it's supposed to be us taking light into darkness, not expecting darkness to come to light. It doesn't work that way. Jesus Christ came to the temple, but he was also out on the streets in the public square meeting people. So it takes courage. It reminds me of Stephen in the Bible, Naomi. You know, Stephen was there with Saul and they killed him, they stoned him to death, but they thought that that would be it. You know what happened to the church? The seed of the murder is seed on the ground, it scattered. The gospel went far and wide. And I want to tell you, there are truth tellers rising up right now. The Charlie Craig generation is rising up. I call them the Josiah generation, and they're going to take the truth to the highway and the byway, and that the enemy will regret touching that man. Because, yes, he he what the enemy even also did is he overplayed his hand. He had a public execution. The whole world saw it. And you know what? Instead of riots, the world began. A Charlie Kirk revival, our university, the place that he spent all his life, the place that he went and taught people, the place that he went and said, Let us reason together. He was a kind man, he spoke the truth and he reasoned with these young people. They trusted who he was, they knew he was not coming to tell them what to think. He was teaching them to think. We need a generation that we don't uh tell what to think because that is all propaganda. We teach them to discern, we teach them to think, and he had a conversation with them. That's how much he loved truths. He had a conversation with them, he listened to their questions, and he gave them, he didn't give them the answer. He gave them where to find the answer, and the answer is Jesus Christ. Everything that Charlie did always pointed back to Jesus Christ. And I believe, Naomi, we are in a place that the enemy overplayed his hand. There's got the spark has already begun. There are revivals happening in universities, baptisms happening in universities. It's been amazing to watch what God is already doing through his legacy.

SPEAKER_01And he was, like you said, he was going into the public square, just like Jesus did, and he was speaking the truth. And he was, he was going in where there was so much hate, honestly, so much opposition, but he wasn't afraid to go into the campuses and have those real conversations and have, you know, people that disagreed with him come up and he would, he would hear them out. And I loved that, you know, he wasn't a politician, even though some people might refer to him as that, but he was really a preacher. He was really pointing people back to Jesus. And, you know, he wasn't afraid to die. He was not afraid to die. He he knew that that his days were numbered, but he was he was so bold regardless of it. And, you know, I agree with everything you said. The the what the enemy intended for evil, God is using for good and revival really is springing up. And, you know, the Lord is so pleased and honored. And I just, I just pray for all of us that we can have that same courage and boldness. I love the example that the Lord gave you out of, you know, of Josiah. He was so young, yet God used him in such a mighty way. And Charlie Kirk was so young as well, yet the impact that he had is way greater than most people that even if they were to live into their hundreds would ever have. And so, how how are you encouraging people in this next generation to be truth tellers? And what are some, you know, because my heart, I know like your heart is so much for the Gen Z. And as was Charlie's heart. I mean, that is the next generation. And so those of us that aren't Gen Z that are a little bit older, we get to help pass the baton to, you know, encourage them, disciple them, mentor them to carry this out. And so what are some, you know, practical ways that the younger generation can be truth tellers? Because right now, I mean, we see polar opposites, right? It is one extreme to the the next, right? There is no gray any longer. It is very black and white, what is going on, you know, in our country. Um, so I if you can talk into what are some practical ways that this generation can be truth tellers. And then I also want you to then touch on how come New York elected the person they did in New York City. How did we get there? And Charlie spoke, Charlie warned us that this was gonna happen, right? And so maybe actually just start there. Charlie warned us that this was gonna happen, that this is a real threat to America. And and here we are, days, weeks after Charlie has been brutally murdered, what he spoke about has happened now in New York City. And we better watch out, or this is gonna be happening in cities and states all over the country.
SPEAKER_02Well, I am I am from Nigeria. Um originally I'm originally born in Nigeria, and one of the things is I know if you've never even heard of Nigeria, we have been in the media for the for the longest of times in the last few months, and we're not in on the media because somebody just decided to write about Nigeria. We've been on the media because of the massacre that is happening, and this massacre is not happening between tribes. These are Muslims killing Christians. This is happening, I mean, like gunning down, and it's not just men, men, women, children. So Charlie Kirk had already he had already seen this coming because if you go back and look at some interviews, he he mentions this that the West cannot coexist with a Sharia law. I mean, the these laws of it's demonic. He he saw this coming. If you look at what is the flag that you see in our university today, it's the free Palestine flag. It's like Charlie Kirk saw what was coming, and and he addressed this thing. And I believe that that our mantle is to keep the alarm going. Because look at New York, this man won mainly because of the young people. It was the young people. You see, Muslim they I heard a man say that their new jihad, because jihad is a holy war, is to come to America, have the long run to indoctrinate our schools, get into our governments, and it's happening. It is happening. I I saw a statistics that said 43 um um um positions were taken by Muslims. Look at Europe. Do you know the most common name in Europe right now? Mohammed. Mohammed, Missouri or uh Minnesota, they are naming streets for Muslims. They're naming streets after Muslims. Yep, they are naming streets in America. I'm not talking about a third world country, I'm not talking about Nigeria. So you see, they come into your country, this is how they work. They come in as a minority and they attack you and say you're Islamophobic. Anything you say, you're like, whoa, what's going on here? No, you are Islamophobic. Then as they grow, they take over your our health systems. So guess what? They come in here while we are aborting our kids, they are having 20 kids. And guess who's feeding them? Your tax money, they are getting apartments, they are getting everything. And I want to say this to you. I'm in Washington State right now. The guy that killed one of the national guard when he's a Muslim, when he came in, he was given free housing in Bellingham, Washington State, where they have brought a lot of um Afghanistani. They are there, free housing. While Americans, some can uh put in waiting lists, they just get house, thanks to Biden. You know, he's gonna answer the guard. But they're already in the country, so now they are getting free housing, they are getting all this, not for them alone, for all their 20 kids, all their 10 kids, all their seven kids. While we are saying, oh no, my my life matters, I'm aborting my kids. That we are giving their kids freedom to breed. One day they will be more than us.
SPEAKER_01That is their plan. That's their plan. And they've made it very clear, they are not coming to America to become American and to come into our society and contribute to our society. They have outwardly spoken that they are coming to America to take over, to bring in Sharia law. And Charlie talked about that in interviews before, you know, he passed. And you, you know, coming from Nigeria, you have seen firsthand what life is like. So you are the best person to sound the alarm as to why we cannot allow this to come into our borders. Yet we have had an administration, like you just said, that has invited them here and has provided for them and paid for them. And, you know, look at now what's what's happening. Sharia law does not line up with the Bible at all. And it looked our country was founded on biblical principles, yet we have strayed so far from that. And that's why Charlie, you know, I love Charlie. He was, he just loved America. He was so passionate about our founding fathers and their principles because they were different than anything in the whole world. That's why people want to come to America, because it is the land of the free. And so, you know, our open border policy is catching up to us really quick. You said there, there's 43 people that have been elected in this last election that are Muslim. That is not an accident. They are very intentionally coming to America and they are spreading out to take over our country. And, you know, even in states, I'm in Idaho right now recording this. Even in states like Idaho, which is a really red state, there are sleeper cells everywhere. And so we need to be sounding the alarm. And so, Falake, I love because your background from Nigeria, you can, you know, I don't think people really realize how awful Sharia law is and what this really looks like in a practical way, but you can speak into that as to why we don't want that here. And so, do you have anything else that you would share as to why this is so devastating and detrimental to our nation?
SPEAKER_02Well, I would just say to you, um, I just shared this three days ago, according to Sharia law. Men can marry nine-year-olds right now. While a grown man could look at a nine-year-old girl and legally marry her. Where is the protection for our children? Where is all the women that will stand up and they say, Women, we have the voice for women? What about these young nine-year-old girls? This is causing an outrage right now. And but they always say, It's Sharia law, it's Sharia law. And me and you, we we spent the last year, don't mess with our kids. Yeah. So how can I sit down and say, one day my maybe my grandbaby that's nine years old, a guy comes in and says, Well, I'm Mohammed, and I saw your grandbaby, and I want to have her as my wife. I mean, what law, what human? We shouldn't even be talking about things like that.
SPEAKER_01I mean, really, it's that's rape. I mean, let's call it what it is. I mean, that is rape of a minor, and that should be completely criminal and not allowed.
SPEAKER_02Yes, I I agree with you. That's one of the things, and and I'll tell you, there's a lot of LGBTQ people saying we want free Palestine. They will not tolerate you. They actually see that as a sin, abortion as a sin. So these are people that will be head people, even the LGBTQ community that's standing for them, they don't like that because they always call Israel the little Satan and America the big Satan. So they're not coming here to come and coexist with us, they have an agenda, and I feel so sad that the people that are chairing them on, they're gonna be in for a very big, big surprise. But for me, I just feel like Sharia law is demonic. Um, we have a constitution, we have laws, but like you said, to sound the alarm, if anyone is sitting down thinking Donald Trump is gonna be the one to change this, you're wasting your time. Donald Trump, God has given him the presidency to give us the body of Christ. We are the power that can that can stop this. You see, Charlie Kurt did not come in as Charlie, he came with the backing of heaven because he knew politics alone could not change anything. It is the power of God that can change things. And my prayer has been God, let them come, the ones that are here. God send Christians to them, let them be converted so that as radical as they are for Allah, they'll be radical for Jesus Christ. Maybe God could take the mystery and the demonic agenda of Satan, bring them in here, they're thinking they're gonna cause havoc, but instead, they will get saved and be radical for Jesus Christ. Maybe that's gonna happen. But that idea, Naomi, that people are like, well, Trump is in the presidency. Now I'm gonna take a nap. Let's not make the mistake of 2016. Let's not make that mistake anymore. If we're gonna stop this, it's like Nehemiah's wall. Everybody stand in front of your wall and your gate, building it with one hand with a sword and one hand with a tool. That is what we're supposed to do right now. All hands on deck.
SPEAKER_01Yes, amen. That kind of goes back to my question previously is what can we be doing? And you're right, we have to be all hands on deck, and we can't be asleep at the wheel. We have to be where where is the place that God has called us to be on the wall. And we have we have to rebuild and fast. Yeah. Right? And I agree. I think, you know, in New York they're gonna have a really rude awakening. I mean, Sharia Law, there it's it's criminal, according to Sharia Law, to be homosexual. Yet homosexuals have voted this person in. I don't think they have a clue of what they're actually what they actually voted for. Um so it's it's gonna it's gonna be interesting. You know, I pray that the rest of America is paying attention and looks at what is happening in New York. And doesn't allow that to happen anywhere else. You know, what the enemy intends for evil, God will use for good. So we we need to be praying that that backfires. Yes. That that backfires in in New York, right?
SPEAKER_02Yes. We need to be praying. And so you say, what can we do? What are practical things we can do? The first and foremost is pray for America. Pray for Gen Z, pray for Gen Alpha. They are tomorrow's leaders. They are already here. And whatever ideology they have right now is where they're going to drive the nation. There's power in prayer. So let's start praying for the next generation. Secondly, be a truth teller. You see, in the book of Revelation, I think 21, the first people that did not inherit the kingdom were cowards. We cannot, because when we say, Oh, I'm not called to be a pastor, I'm not called, that's not true. You have authority and you have influence. Get some Gen Zs to your house. Meet them for coffee. Charlie met them where they were. But you might be a homemaker. Bring them into your home. Be a truth teller around them. You pray for them, you love them, and you speak truth. You see, one thing about truth is God is the one that brings the increase. You put the seed of truth in them, God will bring the increase. Let us stop being frustrated with Gen Z. I know it's hard when they tell you they know everything. But Charlie, Charlie got over himself. He died to himself. He went there. He was accused by these guys. And yes, he loved them so much that he was able to go there and, in the midst of all their things, separate himself from all their negative and speak the truth to them. We need to be truth tellers. And another thing is that we need to be courageous. We need to be courageous. The new mayor of New York has been accepted by churches to come and speak in churches. I am like, oh, you can't. That's terrible. I just saw that today, churches invited him to speak. And I'm like, we cannot compromise any longer. We you see, there's one thing that must be broken off of us. There's two kinds of fear. There's a fear of man and there's a fear of God. And I think that the fear of man is where we know the truth, but we don't want to say it because we don't want to lose our friends. You know, I'm in a season of losing friends right now. I'm gonna speak the truth no matter what. And some people say I'm too political. I am not. They said that about Charlie. Actually, I love Jesus Christ. And if if people say don't speak, then you need to go tear out the book of Daniel because you have Daniel who was there, and he was the was was a pre uh a prophet to King Nebuchadnezzar. But while the time came where Daniel was told not to pray, he they quickly saw where his loyalty was. He opened the window at the same time and he prayed. He did not compromise. And when they put him in the lion's den, God came and met him there. He shut the mouth of the lions. Shadrach, Meshek, and Abedinigo, the same thing. We cannot compromise. We are here as truth-tellers. We speak to the truth, whether to kings or to nobodies. We speak the truth and we don't compromise. And if it's God's will to save us, he'll save us. But if it's God's will not to, we're going nowhere. So let's start by creating atmosphere for truth. In fact, maybe in some episode, I was going to tell Naomi to give some practical things that we can start doing. Because Naomi, you did a lot of this with don't mess with our kids. You created places. You went to places. We we had places where we gathered. I think we're going to start thinking about how do we meet these young people? Where are they at? We will meet them there. We have a friend, Ross Johnson. We can ask him, where are these kids at? Can we come in and speak to this? But let me tell you something. There's no excuse because we don't want to be King Hezekiah. Hezekiah brought in the foreigners, and then when Isaiah told him that why you've done a great evil and the Lord is going to take the kingdom from you. Hezekiah, instead of repenting, said, When? And God said, After you are dead, your children will suffer. He said, Oh, thank goodness. I don't want my kids to suffer. I want to pass a better America to my kids and grandkids. I want to pass a better world to Gen Z and Gen Alpha. So we must get away from selfish thinking of at least I'm going to be out of here. No, you're not out of here. You're passing a baton, and God forbid that we make it worse for them as we got it. So I just feel like we need to have networks where we start asking churches, when is your youth group? Can we come in? And you come in, make a make a meal for the youth group. Come in. How do we get them to trust us? Because if we're not telling them, they're listening to it from somewhere else. We might as well just jump in the game, get in the game, and ask God for a strategy. Let's partner with churches, let's partner with the um YYMCA, wherever it is. Yeah, let's get ourselves out of our comfy churches and comfy living rooms and get out into the public square. And I want to tell you, God will bless it because this is God's heart for the next generation.

SPEAKER_01Well, I love what you said. You know, you plant that seed of truth in them, and the the Lord will water that seed. You don't, we don't have to know all the answers or know the, you know, everything, but we we can be that truth to them, get in their space, invite. I love you're so practical, Falaky. You know, invite them over for dinner, you know, go to the youth group, go to the schools, like Charlie was doing, and plant that seed of truth. And the Lord will water that, that seed. But your your points were so practical. I wrote them down. Pray, be truth tellers, be courageous, not a coward, no compromise. I Charlie really did that, no compromise. He was not gonna be bought. Right. And then fear fear of man proves to be a snare. How many people are living their life based on what other people will think, or based on how many clicks or likes that they might get, right? So, but the opposite, fear of God will true prove to be a blessing. And it starts with with us, right? We have to, I just the Lord just put it in my heart, we have to be pure and the pure in heart will see God. And as we are pure, others will we will be a reflection of Christ. Others will be will be drawn to Christ because they see him in us, nothing of us but him, you know, through us. Um and and you're right, we we can't pass down to our children and to this next generation a worse America. I we want to pass down a better America, a better country. And and you left Nigeria, you're here, and you're like, I don't want this to happen in America, what you saw in Nigeria. And and you have you're right, you have two beautiful young women daughters, Naomi and Ruth, that have just recently gotten married. And I'm sure you're gonna be having grandbabies soon. And I'm sure you go, you want them to live in the America that you first saw when when you came here. And, you know, it's sad how quickly America has fallen, yet at the same time, we know it can as quickly turn back around. But we all have to get in the fight. We have to do what Charlie did. We can't be afraid. We have to go into the public square. And we have to first pray, right? We have to put on that full armor of God and be, we have to know the truth so that we can be a truth teller. And we know the truth ultimately comes from the word of God. And so uh before we close, do you have any, you know, we talked about Charlie Kirk's legacy, but we are each leaving a legacy. And so is, you know, I know you still have a lot of years left to live on this earth, but you're already in the process of leaving a legacy. And what is on your heart that what legacy do you feel like you want to pass down to your own children and grandchildren, but to the next generation at large? Because you're a mouthpiece, you're a voice. Uh, you have a podcast that you're getting ready to launch, which I'm so excited about. And you're you're influencing, you're an influencer of influencers, Falake. And so the the legacy that you're leaving is far more reaching than we'll ever know, this side of heaven. And I know you're gonna leave a mighty legacy, but that is is there something that the Lord has put on your heart that you really feel like, you know what, when when I am when I'm walking those streets of gold, I want it to be said of me blank.
SPEAKER_02When I walk into the streets of gold, I want it to be said of me that I learned to love the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. But then I took that love and I took it outside of my building and I let everyone around me know that he's worthy of being loved. I look at that with Charlie Kirk. When I think of Charlie right now, if I had a word, I would call him courage. He was a man of courage, but it wasn't just standing, he took the love of God to the public square. I would love the next generation to see the presence of God practically by loving God, not only in their homes and their life in the in the secret place, but displaying the love for God out in the open, like you said, in purity, so that the world will be jealous and that they will want that love because there's only one that can love us rightly, and it's Jesus Christ. And I think Naomi, if you look at everything, man is searching for something, it's God, but they don't know they're searching for God, and that will be a legacy I will want to live. That's why I cannot keep quiet right now. I feel like with you, what you're doing, being a voice right now, you know, my prayer is after we even get off of this Zoom, that this we go into places me and you would never even step in. That the voices that they hear here, they will remember that maybe these girls are right. Maybe there's a God that loves me, and that God can take this and blow it into places like Afghanistan, Iraq, places that we will never go. Nigeria, to know that the Nigerians know that there are people standing for them, praying for them. So I love the fact that we need to look at legacy, and I don't want the legacy to be I was a coward. I don't want my legacy to be that my children will look at me. I want them to look at me and remember me, not by what I didn't tell them, but I want them to be able to say she loved the Lord with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength, and that love impacted nations. That's what I want them to say.
SPEAKER_01Love that impacts nations. Wow. Well, before we close, would you just pray for all those watching and for this next generation that they would just be imparted with that love, with the love of Jesus, and that they would carry out the legacy and the courage that Charlie had, that they would carry it out and that they would leave a legacy.
SPEAKER_02Yes. Yes, Father Lord, I just want to say thank you first and foremost. Thank you for Naomi. Thank you for the um call on her life. I remember the first time I met her, you said she was going to be a voice and an arrow that'll be shot through this nation. And thank you for her yes. Lord, I want to thank you for those that are listening right now. And I just want to say, Lord, that mantle, that mantle of boldness, that mantle of courage, Father, let the heavens be open and let it begin to come down now upon each and every one of us. Father, that we will be fulfilling Matthew 11, 11 and 12 that says that since the time of John the Baptist, the kingdom of God suffers violent, and the violent takes it by force. That we will be a people, that we violently love you, that we'll violently take the Great Commission seriously, that we'll violently go after others the way you sent us to go into the world and baptize people in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Father, that we will have our hearts open to love you. And Father, Lord, that we will be pure, like Naomi said, that there will that you for that the devil will come, but will find nothing in us, that he can we'll have nothing in common with him. That father, there will be a desire in our heart right now for purity, a desire for the fear of the Lord, a desire to say, yes, sir, whatever you say we should do, Lord, we will willingly run because we don't go alone, we go with you. Father, I pray for miracles, signs, and wonders. I pray for those that are listening here saying, I want to do it, but I don't know where to start. I break off any limitations over you right now in Jesus' name. Just say yes. Just say yes, and the Holy Spirit will do whatever needs to be done. He said, It's not by might, it's not by power, it's by my spirit, says the Lord. And Father Lord, I release the blood of Jesus Christ over each and everyone listening right now. That blood speaks better things than the blood of Abel, it speaks better than accusation. So, right now you're covered by the blood, and I say, Go in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, go with the warring angels, go with the full armor of God, and go and begin to prepare the legacy that you're going to leave behind. In Jesus' name, amen.
