Hello and welcome to Theatre Workshop Talks. My name is Alice and I'm a teacher here at the Theatre Workshop. We have a theatre school based in Birmingham, Bont Green, Blackwell and Bromsgrove. Here you will gain an insight to what it's like being a part of the theatre workshop. Along the way, we will be talking to TTW students, parents, teachers, and also some very special guests. Make sure you hit that subscribe button so you know when a brand new episode drops. Hi everyone, I hope you're all well. Welcome back to another episode of our podcast. It's just going to be me today chatting to you about things that are happening over Easter, some really exciting things that we've got going on towards the show, and also just some reminders that we've got happening in the very near future. So, first things first is we break up for Easter this week. So for our Bromsgrove School, your last session will be the 27th of March. Friday, the 27th of March, is your last session. And then Birmingham Schools, you break up on the 28th of March, and we return back on the week beginning the 13th of April. So all private students, all Dance Academy students, you'll be back that week. And Bromsgrove School, you'll be back on the 17th of April, and Birmingham Schools, you will be back on the 18th of April. We also have an Arts Award session happening on the 15th of April. So if you are part of our Arts Award programme, then you do have a session on the first week back, and we can't wait to see you all there. The next thing I wanted to talk about was our show hoodies. Now I'm really excited about these show hoodies, and it's something that we've not actually done before. We've not actually had like specific show hoodies that are dedicated to the show. So it's something really special for the children to have as a little reminder, really, and as a little bit of a keepsake if it's one of their first shows or one of their last shows, because we've got a couple of students that are leaving after the show who have been with us for many, many years, so it's something that they can keep with them to remind them of their last show at the theatre workshop. So these are £20 and they come in lots of different sizes. So if you would like one, then please do let us know as soon as possible because the deadline for ordering these is the 28th of March, Saturday, 28th of March. So if you'd like one and you haven't already ordered one, drop us a text, tell us in class that you want one, and we'll put your name down and just let us know what size you'd like. Another exciting thing that's happening for our show this year is uh VIP tickets. So the VIP ticket camp is going to be launched at 9am on Saturday, the 28th of March. You will receive an email which is going to give you a link that will allow you to sign up to be a VIP ticket member. Now, this is only available for 20 families. So once it's gone, it's gone. This VIP ticket will allow you to have exclusive access to tickets 48 hours before they are released to everyone. You will also get a copy of the show on film, which will be a digital download. So the show is getting filmed, so you'll be able to get that within the package. You'll also be able to get a show rose to give to your child, which again is a really lovely thing to have as a keepsake because we do a different colour every year, and I think some of our students are sort of collecting the colours and getting a bit of a rainbow of roses that we've sold over the years. And again, there's only 20 VIP spaces available, and the link goes live at 9am on the 28th of March, which is when you will receive the email. So keep an eye on your emails on Saturday morning and be quick because I'm pretty sure it's gonna sell fast. Over the Easter holidays, we do have a gravity show going on. So if you are part of that, we've got 40 people signed up, which is absolutely amazing. We're so excited for it. It's such a great opportunity for the children. The ladies that they're gonna be singing with are just incredible. Like I think Susie is actually fangirling over them a little bit. We were talking about it the other day, and she was just so excited to see them, to meet them, for the children to be a part of a show with them. She's absolutely buzzing. So the rehearsals for gravity are Tuesday the 7th and Friday the 10th of April. And these rehearsals will be at Lordswood Boys School from 10am until 12.30pm. And then the show is on the 12th of April at the Birmingham Hippodrome. You are going to receive more information to that closer to the time if you have signed your child up to be a part of this. As we said in the previous podcasts, if you do have any other questions regarding the show or hoodies or tickets or the VIP package, then please do just drop us a WhatsApp and we're more than happy to get back to you. Um it doesn't matter how small the question is, just anything. We want to make sure that everyone's fully prepared and they're ready and they don't feel too stressed about the show because we understand it can be quite a busy time of year when it comes to the show. So we want everyone to be as ready as possible and not to feel too overwhelmed. So just a quick podcast from me today, just a couple of reminders, and we hope everyone has a lovely Easter. We really can't wait to see you after the Easter holidays and hear about all your lovely holidays and all the great things you've been up to and all the Easter eggs you've had. And we will see you back on the week beginning the 13th of April. Okay, thanks guys, happy Easter. Thank you for listening to TTW Talks. We hope you enjoyed listening to this episode and look forward to hearing the next one.
