Welcome everybody to another episode of the SmackDown with Mario. I am your host, Mario Hobson, and today I am bringing you another bracket. Um, today's bracket is gonna be who's the best um women's NST champion of all time, and that's like from my opinion. Uh Monday, we did the men's side, and today we're gonna do the women. Um this one might be a little shorter than the one Monday because uh well the bracket is gonna be a little shorter because there was only like 22 champions ever in um NST history on the women's side, which makes sense because I think their title came out like a little later on before the man's. Um before we get started though, uh please follow me on X, formerly known as Twitter, um and also follow me on Facebook. Um both handles are the same, the SmackDown with Mario. You can find me there, and also follow me on YouTube, the SmackDown with Mario, and uh um subscribe to my channel over there and uh and uh give me a like. I post all my videos over on YouTube as well, so please subscribe and give me a like. Um We also gonna uh we're gonna do it a little differently today. I'm gonna give a little news that's been going around uh the WWE Um for the past couple of days, I guess. Um yeah, we're gonna do a little news segment on here. We're gonna start that off. Uh huh I'm a little tired, y'all. We gotta bear with me. I just got off work. I worked like 12-hour shifts, so um just got off, took a shower, came here to record this, so you know, just bearing me a little bit. Um what else? Yeah, I guess we can get into the news side of things. I'm trying to see if there's anything else that I forgot to say before that. But I don't think so. Um But yeah, let's let's get into some news. Alright. First news that I we got some updates of matches that's gonna happen at Backlash from this week on Raw. Um The matches that we got set in stone right now, so far, is uh they're gonna have Seth Rollins versus Brian Breaker and Backlash, and then um EOSK versus Asuka and Roman Reigns versus Jacob I too. Uh right now it's looking like a pretty good card. Some like gonna be some pretty good matches there. I also think they're probably gonna add um Trick Williams versus Sami Zayn for the United States Championship on that card. I'm not sure. Or maybe they probably just save that for like a smackdown, but I don't know. They might add that. And I think that I will also add uh the Street Profits versus Um Division on that card as well. So yeah, that might be a total of probably like six matches, six, seven matches they'll have there. Um some more news. Um and one of Finn Bowler's latest posts, he actually he posted that he um that he hated the Judgment Day music when he was with Judgment Day. He said, one thing I do not miss is walking out to that Judgment Day music. Uh I didn't really um have a problem with the Judgment Day music that he had. It was pretty good to me, but you know. And some more news. We got Rossanne was under by her hometown, Laredo, Texas, ahead of WW Raw this week. Um I don't know what the uh what they uh awarded her with, but anything she got, I mean, she deserves it. She she's uh she put on for her city. So you know, she's a good star. Okay. And the last set of news that I got, no, no, this is a short thing. If y'all want me to do more news, let me know. And I can add this to my shows. Oh, and uh by the way, yeah, another thing that I did want to say is I got a set schedule now. So uh I know I did a episode Monday, but from now on, I will be doing shows um Wednesday, every Wednesday, and every Saturday. Um the thing about that is um I work a swing shift at my job. If you don't know what that is, I uh work day and night shifts. So for instance, like today or last night, I worked uh I worked last night and I just got off this morning, so now I'm doing a show. So it might be times where I work uh day shifts and I do a show at night, then I post it at night. So right now I work uh a night shift and now that I'm doing the video this morning and I'm gonna post it this morning as soon as I'm done. So every Monday and not Monday, every Wednesday and every Saturday of the week I will uh doing the uh episode. So this Saturday I'll be doing the episode. So this week you'll actually get three episodes. You got one Monday, today, and I'm gonna do one Saturday. Um and the last news that I got is uh in some posts and some news going around that it says that um it's been revealed that Triple H and Nitcon are using AI for WW storylines. I I don't know how true that is. I don't think that's true. I don't think they use AI, and I mean they might do. I mean, some storylines do be kind of crazy, like the trick wins and semi-zane gingerbread situation is kind of crazy, but um I don't think they use AI. I just read that over and I just thought it'd be funny to share with y'all. But do y'all think they use AI? Uh let me know. Um, and by the way, another thing before I start this bracket, um, if any questions or anything you want me to answer on the show, you can uh ask them on Twitter or X uh Facebook or even YouTube, and I will put it on the show. Also, you can email me um on my email, smackdown with Mario at gmail.com. It's not the SmackDown, it's just SmackDown with Mario, not the SmackDown with uh Mario at gmail.com is this it's just smackdown with Mario at gmail.com and I will put it in the description for y'all as well. My uh email for y'all can send out questions so I can answer. Um but that being said, that was the last news. I know it was short, but if you want me to do more, let me know, and I'll add that on to my show. Um I guess now we can go ahead and get to the bracket. Like I said, there's only 22 women in this bracket, but there's been great NST women's champion throughout the history of NST. Um, you had people like Paige, Bailey, you know, Sasha Baints, etc. etc. Um great champions, so this is gonna be kind of hard. Um it might be harder than the NST men's championship uh bracket I did Monday. But I don't know. We're gonna we're gonna get through it. Like I even I got it all the way up from Paige all the way up to Lola Vice, and y'all know she just won the belt, and so yeah. Um it's only 22 women, so the way this bracket is set up, it's like it has a whole lot of people that's not even in the first round, and I just did random, like I always do, so it's like um it only has two, four, six, eight, ten, like twelve people in the first round, and everybody else is like in the second round already. So names, I'm gonna I'm gonna tell y'all the names that's in the second round that I gotta buy. Uh names like Laura Vicuria is in the second round, it's already got a pass from the first round, Indy Hartwell got a pass, Mindy Rose got a pass, Tatum Pasley got a pass, Becky Lynch, Stephanie Vicure, Io Sky, Kyrie Sane, Sasha Banks, and Rhea Ripley. Those are all the people they gotta buy in the first round. I this is the way this bracket set up. It's nothing I did, I didn't adjust it, I didn't do nothing. I just put the names in, hit random, and this is how it came out. But we can go ahead and start with the first round. With that being said, and the first round is Lola Vice versus Paige. This is pretty easy. Like I said, Lola Vice just won the championship, so she ain't really do much with it. I just added her on here because I mean I just needed more people, it would just 22, like without her, it would have just been 21 people. So I added her on for it can be 22 people, but Paige was the first NST champion um ever. So and like I said, it's pretty easy. Lot of bikes ever done nothing with the championship yet, so we're gonna give this to Paige. Paige moves on to the second round. Next, we got Ember Moon versus Shayna Basler. Uh Basler, which is kind of funny because I think they had a rivalry with each other when Shayna Basler was the champion. Um, but with that being said, I think Ember Moon, she was a okay champion at first, but you know, she's I don't think she was a better champion than Shayna Basler. Um Shayna Basler was um when she was the NST, she was at her peak. Like she was phenomenal. The matches she had was incredible, her character was incredible, she was like the locker room bully, and I don't know. I I wish they would have done something more with her when she got uh moved up to the main roster, but um her NST run was pretty great. It was her championship run was better than Amber Moon. So I'ma um go ahead and move Shana Basler on to the next round. Next we got Charlotte Flair versus Asuka. Um Charlotte Flair, she won the champion. I think she was the second champion in NST. Um I don't think she really did much. She didn't hold it that long from what I can remember. But Asuka, like, she elevated that NST championship whenever she came in. And I think she held up like a year, went undefeated, then nobody beat her. She had to relinquish the championship because nobody could beat her. And I I she I don't think nobody would disagree with me when I say that she was like the better champion than Charlotte Flair was um in NST. So I'm gonna move Oscar on to the next round. And like one of my favorite matches, uh matches was um in NST for some reason, I don't know why, but I just remember it so well. It was when Oscar went up against the um uh what's some girl's name? It was like a triple threat match. I can't remember their names. Uh the iconics, yeah. And I don't know, that match was a good match to me for some reason, but that was like one of the matches I can like very well remember. It was a good match, but her whole run as the NST champion is pretty good. But I'm I'm I'm getting off topic here though. So let me go ahead and uh continue. Next we got um Jesse Jane versus Raquel Rodriguez. Um Jesse Jane, I believe they just gave the belt to her because like she was in the company for like four years, and uh it seems to me just the also like the only reason they gave her the belt because she put the time in. So they was like, okay, so we're gonna give you the belt because you put your time in, and I don't know, you was a veteran, and we needed somebody to have the championship. But Raquel Rodriguez, I I thought she was pretty good at NST. I think she was a pretty good champion. Um I think she was um having rivalries with EOS guy and then Aurora Ripley when she was there. And I like the new era of uh NST when Jesse Jane, I she was just champion not too long ago. Uh yeah, I don't know. She didn't do much with the bell. I can't even remember her run because I don't really watch NST like that nowadays. I keep up with it um to do like I don't know. I'd just be seeing on social media, I keep up with it a little bit. Um Raquel Rodriguez, she she was a better champion than Jason Jane, what I'm trying to say. So I don't know. Like I said, bear with me. I'm I'm a little tired. I just worked 12 hours, but um I'm gonna give it to uh Raquel Rodriguez in this round. So she moves on to the second round. Next we got Bailey versus Tiffany Stratton. Um I'm gonna have to get this to Bailey. Um Tiffany Stratton, she was an okay champion. She wasn't she was nowhere near better than Bailey as a champion. I'm just gonna say that. The matches Bailey had with Sasha Banks, like the uh like them five-star matches that was having, like, yeah, I don't yeah. Uh Tiffany Stratton didn't have matches like Bailey did when Bailey was a champion. Like, she was like the workhorse of um NST when she was a champion. Um I'm gonna have to get this to Bailey, so Bailey goes on to the second round. And just like that, we in the last matchup of the first round, and it's gonna be Julia versus Rosan Porterz. Um Julia I don't think she was the NST champion long cow. Did she she got hurt and then she lost it? No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm messing that up. I just know she wasn't there NST for like a long time. I don't think she was champion for a long time. And Rosan Perez, she was uh she won it twice. Um I remember when she beat Mandy Rose because you know all this stuff that was happening, and um and that was like they had to release Mandy Rose, so they gave the belt to Ross and Perez, but I think Rosan Perez was a decent champion, and I do think that she was a better champion than Julia. So with that being said, I'm gonna have to give this win to Rosan Perez. Alright. Alright, now it's time for the second round, and in the first matchup, we got Lara Vacaria versus Paige. Lara Vacuur, she was a fine champion. Like um, she had some good matchups with Ross and Perez, but Paige, um I think Paige was a better champion than Lara Vacaria. I think some people probably disagree with me on that, but when Paige won the belt and then she I like the WrestleMania, the raw after WrestleMania when she uh beat AJ Lee for the uh Divas Championship, like yeah, that was a crazy time. And she didn't even lose the belt, she had to give it up after all that, or before that happened. So I don't know. I just in my opinion, Paige was a better NST champion than Laura Bacura. So I'm gonna move Paige on to the third round. And next we got Indy Hartwell versus Minnie Rose. It's pretty easy. Andy Hartwell won it in that latter match, which is a pretty good match or whatever, but she held it for like what a month maybe? So yeah. And Minnie Rose, when she went back to NST, she like reinvented herself because they had her in like a storyline with um Otis, like a love storyline. But when she went back to um NST, she got with a fashion, she changed that like I ain't gonna say she changed everything about herself, but she became like more serious, and she was having pretty good matches when she came back. And I don't know. I'm like I'm getting off topic. Well, I'm not off topic, I'm just rambling, I guess. Um with that being said, I'm gonna I'm gonna say Manny Rose definitely had a better NST run with the championship than Andy Hartwell. So Manny Rose moves on to the third round. Next we got Tatum Pasley versus Shana Basler. This is pretty easy because Tatum Pasley was like a transitional champion, so she didn't really do much with the belt. She she held up like a hot second, and uh this is pretty easy. Um Shana Brazler moves on to the third round. I don't think nobody will disagree with me on that. This is gonna be pretty hard though. Well, no, not really. Um, because we got Becky Lynch versus Oscar. And I say this is not gonna be pretty hard because Becky Lynch, she didn't win it her first time in NST. Um, she won it like late in her career, and when she was doing this whole thing with Laura Bacura and whatever. But yeah, that run was I don't even know to say about it, to be honest with you. But it wasn't better than Oscar run. So easily enough, I'm gonna say that Oscar had a better run with the NST championship than Becky Lynch. Next, we got Stephanie Bacura versus Raquel Rodriguez. Um Stephanie Bacura, she was uh actually a double champ. She was the North American champion and the NST champion at the same time. And with that being said, um I think that's gonna put her over the edge over Raquel Rodriguez. Not saying that Raquel Rodriguez was a bad champion, but Stephanie Bacquer, I think that her run was better than um Raquel was, so I might have to put Stephanie over to the next round. Might have some disagreements with that one, but uh oh well, that's what I think. Next we got Eo Sky versus Kyrie Sane. Um I'm not trying to be biased because I EOSK is like one of my favorite female um superstars in WWE. Um Kyrie Sang was an okay champion. I can't, to be honest, which I can't even remember much about her run. Not more than I can remember about EOS. Um with that being said, I think I have to put EOS guy over there because of that. I don't think people a lot of people really remember Kyrie Sane's run with the NST championship. Um But Eosky, the matches she had with Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley and stuff like that, those are great matches, especially that triple tap match that had it in your house. Um so I'm just gonna say Eosky was a better NST champion than uh Kyrie Sane. So EOSK moves on to the third round. Next we got it's gonna be a pretty hard one right here. We got Sasha Banks versus Bailey. Yeah, this is this is a matchup in the second round. That's that's crazy. Um but both of them was great champions. Um it's not too much that I can say bad about their um both of their uh championship runs. Only thing that is gonna put this person over the edge for me is the fact that she held the belt the longest. So and that's not knocking Sasha Bank at all, Sasha Banks at all. Um because she was a great champion, like I said. Her and Bailey had some great matches. Um her and Charlotte had some great matches, but I'm gonna give it to Bailey solely because Bailey held it the longest, and Bailey was a workhorse with that championship. So that's the only reason I uh because I can't give it a tie, because I kind of want to give it a tie, but I can't, and I have to have something to put somebody over with. So I have to say that I'm gonna give it to Bailey because she held the butt the longest. So that's why I'm giving it to Bailey. And I'm if you disagree with me with that, let me know. But that's that's that's the only reason I'm giving it to a Florida. Alright, next, and it's the last matchup in the second round. We got um Rhea Ripley versus Raquel Rodriguez. Uh no, no, I'm sorry. Rhea Ripley versus Ryan Perez. Um I think this is pretty easy. Um Ryan, she was a good champion, but she was not a better champion than Rhea Ripley. That whole um, I remember that whole NST takeover thing they had with uh SmackDown and Raw, and Rhea Ripley was like one of the like front holders for NST at that time. Um yeah. Um I don't know. I think, yeah, in my opinion, Rhea Ripley was a better champion than Rossi and Perez. So I'm gonna have to put Rhea Ripley over and to the third round. All right. Now we got the Elite Eight. Now trying to find out who do I think was the greatest. NST women's champion of all time. Let's continue. Paige versus Mandy Rose. Huh. It's pretty tough. Um like I said, Paige was a good champion. She didn't hold it long until she got called to the main roster. Uh, Mandy Rose, what she did with that belt and what it did to her career when she got the belt. And yes, I know that the whole whatever she did posting OnlyFans videos or whatever she did to get herself fired, kind of, you know, messed up run up. But she did have a good run. She had some great matches. Um, Paige didn't hold it long. She had some okay matches, but Mindy Rose, I think that her matches that she had was better than Bailey's. And I just I think she held it for a year before she had to give it up because of something about her posting stuff on OnlyFans or whatever she was posting it on. I can't even remember the website. She was on it's like something generic OnlyFans uh website she was posting on. But you know, WWE, they found out about it and they fired her because of it, which is crazy. Um because I don't even think she was doing like no nudity or nothing on it. But you yeah, WWE, they they crazy. Um but let me stop rambling and I'm just gonna say Mandy Rose had a better NXT championship run than Paige. And again, some people might be disagreeing. If you do, let me know. Next we got Shayna Basler. I keep saying her name wrong. Shayna Basler versus Asuka. This is another tough one, but um when it comes down to it, it's hard to go against Oscar because she held it for a year, went undefeated, and she just gave the belt up because nobody could beat her. And but Shayna Basel, she was a good champion, she was bullying people, she but she I mean she lost it and then got it back or whatever. But I don't know. I'm just gonna give you my opinion on the situation. I'm gonna give you who I think was a better champion. Yeah, like I said, if you disagree, just let me know. But I think that Oscar was a better NST champion than Shana Baszler was. So with that being said, Oscar moves on to the next round. Next, we got Stephanie Valkyrie versus E.O. Sky. I ain't gonna lie, this is kind of tough. Both of them had like good championship reigns with the belt. Um, if you hear any background noise, I'm sorry. I live off the highway, so a lot of traffic going on right now. So yeah, sorry about that if you hear that um in the background. Um, this is kind of hard. They both had good runs with the belt, they both had good matches when there was a champion. But um, and I'm not being biased here because like I said earlier, EOSCA was one uh or is um one of my favorite um women wrestlers in WWE right now. Um and to be honest, I think that EOSK had a better NST championship run than Stephanie Valkyrie. So I'm gonna have to move on, uh move Eosky on to the next round. And the last matchup of the Elite Eight, Sbailey versus Rhea Ripley. This is another tough one. Um because both of them was great NST champions. But when I think about um their run, I think, you know, who had a like well, obviously, I think who had a better run, uh, who did more with the belt, um, who had better matches, you know. And when I think about that, I think that Bailey, obviously, you just can't deny those um five-star matches that she had with Sasha. Like, they had the first Iron Man match, I believe they had the first Steel Cage match. Like, they they really put on for the women when Bailey was a champion. Um with that being said, I think that puts her over Rhea Ripley. So I'm gonna say that um Bailey had a better NST run or NFT championship run than Rhea Ripley. So Bailey moves on to the next round. Now we're down to the final four. Alright. This matchup we got Mandy Rose versus Asuka. This is honestly, I know this is the final four. Um, but we had some tough ones before this, but this one's pretty easy to me. Um I'm gonna have to say that um Oscar had a better NST championship run than Mandy Rose. Um And I know, like I said before Mandy Rose, yeah, she came to NST and she reinvented herself. Um reinvented herself. I'm so sorry. Like I said, I'm tired. Y'all please bear with me. Uh re-invented herself and became champion, and she did a lot um with that title, and she did a lot with that reign, like she hit her for a year, but was her year, I think it was a year, I'm not even a hundred percent sure, but was her I think it was a year, it was a year, it was close. Was her reign for a year better than Asuka? I think the only thing that's gonna put Asuka over is that she had better matches than Mandy Rose. Not saying that Mandy Rose didn't have good matches, but I just think that Oscar matches was like I ain't gonna say way better, but her matches was better. So I'm gonna have to put Asuka over and say that Oscar had a better NST championship run than Mandy Rose did. So Oscar moves on to the final round. Last matchup, the final four, we got Eosky versus Bailey. Um, like I said before, I'm this ain't really that hard. To me, it's not that hard. Um this is what Bailey did for that, like for the women's division when she had the belt, is it's crazy enough. Um I'm not gonna waste too much time with this one, and I'm just gonna say that Bailey was a better NST, well I had a better NST run with the championship than uh EOSC. So Bailey moves on to the final round, and now this is the toughest round of them all. So now we got Oscar versus Bailey. Man, who saw this coming? Like I think people saw this coming because it's because between these two and the run they had with the NST championship, just the run they had an NST period, was amazing. They both was amazing in NST, and they both isn't like they both amazing in um the main event. Um the main roster, I said main event. I'm so tired, and I'm so sorry for this, y'all. I'm so sorry. Um, can't apologize enough. Umway, who do I think was a better NST champion? Asuka or Bailey? Huh. Y'all might disagree with me on this, but I cannot deny the matches that Bailey had as the champion. I can't deny what she did for the women's division. If it wasn't for Bailey and the matches she had, um the women's division might not be what it is today. And for that, and I'm not taking nothing from Oscar. The same goes for her too. But Ailey, uh Ailey, oh my god, I'm so tired. Bailey came in first and did all this work for the women. Her and Sasha having those Iron Man matches and steel cage matches. But to me, Bailey was like a better in-ring worker than Sasha was. That's why um I put her over Sasha as well. Um you just can't deny what Bailey did. And Oscar did the same, but Bailey did it first. So with that being said, I'm gonna have to make Bailey the winner of this bracket. So, in my opinion, I think that Bailey is the greatest NST women's champion of all time. If you disagree with me on that, let me know. Um, let me know my email at SmackDown with Mario at gmail.com. Let me know on Twitter the SmackDown with Mario. Let me know on on Facebook, the SmackDown with Mario, let me know on YouTube, let me know anything. I haven't got no fan questions yet. Um hoping one day I will. So if I do, I will put them on the show. I will answer any questions, just you know, send them out and I'll put them on the show. I'll shout you if I get any follower. I haven't uh unfortunately I ain't got no followers yet, but if I do, I will shout you out on my show. If I get any followers, um but yeah, just please follow on all uh platforms. I'm on YouTube, I'm on Facebook, I'm on X. Um any followers I get on any one of them, I will shout you out. Oh, yeah, by the way, I'm um another thing I want to say before I go, I made um a post on Twitter earlier. Um and it was about the NST uh Shallow Hill versus Ricky Saints. And I also I um I got uh a light from Shallow Hill, um, which was was cool. It was cool. Um I never got a light from a WWE superstar for something I posted before. So that was cool. That was a first cool um something cool that happened. I'm sorry, I'm tired. You gotta bear with me. I keep saying it, I know, but you just have to. What's his name? Shallow Hill. Shallow Hill. I'm not really familiar with him, but I know him by NST. But I made that post, and Shallow Hill actually liked my post. So yeah, that was crazy. Um, thank you for that. Um, I mean I'm pretty sure he doesn't listen to my podcast, but if he does, thank you. Um please um support the show on Buzz Sprout. Um, like I said, any followers that I get from there, I will shout you out on the show. Um please subscribe and like me on YouTube, follow me on X, follow me on Facebook, and send in questions at SmackDown with Mario at gmail.com. And I will be doing another show Saturday, so you can expect something then. But until then, I will see you guys later. Peace out. Bye.
