SPEAKER_01Welcome back to the show, everybody. This is Mario Hobson, and this is a SmackDown with Mario. Um today we're gonna be doing another bracket. Today we're gonna be doing who's the best men's money in the bank winner of all time, in my opinion. Uh there's been a lot of great men, uh, money in the bank winners over the history um or in history. People like Seth Rollins, who just recently won it last year. CM Pump, uh, Edge, you know, people like that. Um I think it's a total of like 25 people who have won the Money in the Bank, the men's money in the bank briefcase. Like after cashing in, it's been a lot that people, a lot of guys that cash in and it changed their careers completely. Um this bracket is completely random. I put the names in and it random uh it's all randomized. So like a like before in other brackets, you know, I just put the names in and like I said, just random. And and of course, some people have to buy. Again, I don't know why it does that, it just does it, but some people gotta buy, and the people that gotta buy in the first round is people like Dolph Zittler, John Cena, Baron Corbin, Kane, Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre, and Mr. Kennedy. So those guys gotta buy in the first round. Um, I don't know why it does that, but it does. So um follow me on X, you know, follow me on Buzz Sprout. You can support me there. It's completely free to uh on Buzz Sprout. Listen to me on all podcast platforms. Um I'm on Apple, I'm on iHeart, I'm on Spotify, anywhere you get your podcast at. So follow me on there, send questions on X, Facebook, you know, anywhere or Spotify. You can send uh comments on Spotify. Any questions, anything I get, I'll put them at the end of my episodes. So I haven't got none yet, so there's no gonna be no questions, but I guess we can go ahead and get right into this. So like I said, it's 25 people, so it's not gonna be a long episode like the other ones. The other ones had way more people. This is just 25 people. Um I think it's only been one guy that won it twice. So no, I didn't put his name on here twice. I just put it one time, so but it all came out of 25 people. Maybe I should have added the women, but I was just like, nah, I'm just gonna do the men's because it was a lot more men than women. And maybe I should have added the women with the man, but I just thought it'd be better this way. So short episode, so so well, I'm I'm gonna stop rambling on and I'm gonna go ahead and get down to it. Um first matchup we got Damian Sendal versus Seamus. Um Damian Sendal was one of the guys that won it and lost when he cashed in. I think Seamus, when he won it, he cashed in and he won the title. Um Damian Sendah, I think he was in a robbery with the Miz when uh he won the money in the bank, so he had that going on. But when he he was a kind of a big deal then, he was a popular superstar. He was getting pops from cloud or from the crowd and stuff. He was doing that uh whole thing with the Miz where he was, I guess, kind of being his henchman and doing everything he was doing. Uh but Damian Sendow was a good performer in the ring, and we all know Seamus. We know what Sheamus brings in the ring. He's a good technical wrestler as well. Um sorry about my voice. Um my voice a little crack from work, so so excuse my voice on this uh podcast. I'm sorry, I'm trying to get over it. My throat looks sore, but so please excuse me on that. But uh like I was saying, Seamus, we all know what Seamus did, and we know who Seamus is multiple time world champion. Um who was a better money in the bank winner? Um, I'm gonna have to say Seamus, due to the fact that Damian Sandal, as popular as he was, his run wasn't memorable and he lost whenever he cashed in and Seamus won. So I'm gonna go based off of that, and I'm gonna say Seamus had a better money in the bank um, I guess Rain. I ain't gonna say, well, I'm gonna say Seamus was a better money in the bank holder than uh Damon Sandal was. So he had a better cash in. So I'm gonna put uh Seamus over Damian Sendah. Next we got a hard winner, and it's in the first round, which like I said, is it was completely random. This is one of the ones that could have easily been in the finals, but we got it in the first round, and that's Seth Rollins versus CM Punk. CM Punk was the guy I was talking about earlier, one of the guys that won it two times. Um the first time he won it and cashed in and won the World Heavyweight Champion, I think it was the World Heavyweight title. Um it's a Sophia uh it pushed his career like to the point where everybody saw like CM Punk as a main guy, which I guess it uh everybody already saw it, you know, when he was in ECW and won the ECW title, but him winning the money in the bank and catching it in and winning the world heavyweight title, it elevated his career. Like after that, you know, we seen like just how good CM Punk was on main T. I don't think I don't know if ECW was yeah, I think ECW was. It was on like Sapphire or something like that. But everybody really got to know CM Punk after he cashed in and seen how really good he was in the ring and how good he was on promos and stuff like that, became a household name. Um, and this all eventually led to, you know, the pipe bomb and all that stuff like that. Um Seth Rollins, but when he won it last year and he had an incredible um cash in at SummerSlam. Was it SummerSlam? Yeah, on CM Punk. Um, which is crazy. Yeah, he had a cash in on CM Punk, but like I said, this is hard because Seth Rollins had an amazing cash-in. CM Punk, it's a it it you know elevated his career when he won it. It did more for his career, so um I guess I'm gonna have to put CM Punk over Seth Rollins with this one because of what it did for his career when he won it and won the world headboard title. Because Seth Rollins was already a household name already when he won the money and bank and cashed in and everything. So I'm gonna have to get to CM Punk only because of what it did for CM Punk and the things we got out of CM Punk after he won the Money and Bank and then won the World Headboard title. So uh that's the reason I'm gonna put CM Punk over Seth Rollins. So CM Punk moves on to the next round. Next we got Edge versus Alberto Dario. Um it was surprising when Alberto Dario won it and then won the I think I think he won the World Headboard title when he cashed in. I've uh if I'm not mistaken, if I'm wrong, please let me know. But I don't think his nowhere near better than Edge when he won. Because when he won it and then cashed in on John Cena at um New Year's Revolution, I think in like 2005 or 6. It was incredible. I remember as a kid watching that and like it was I was so shocked when I saw it. It was like it, and I think he was like the first one that that um that wanted and cashed in. Um but yeah, I think Edge was a way better money in the bank holder, and he had a better cash in than Alberto Dario to me. So I'm gonna have to give this to Edge over Alberto Dario. Next we got Rob Van Damme versus Austin Theory. This one is pretty easy because Austin Theory, Money in the Bank. When he won the Money in the Bank, it was like trash. He didn't do nothing with it. And then he cashed in on the for the United States Championship and lost. So this is pretty easy. Um Rob Van Dam, I think he was the second one to win it. If I'm not mistaken, I could be wrong about that. But um Rob and Dam obviously had a better run than Austin Theory as the money and bank holder, so and a better cash in because Austin Theory cashed in only for the United States Championship and still lost. So I'm gonna have to give it to RBD on that one. Next we got Randy Orton versus Jack Swagger. Um they gave it to Jack Swagger because they tried to give him a major push, um, but did not work for him. He was not good in the ring. He was um he was decent in the ring, but he went the best. Definitely not good on the mic. They tried to get him the word headboard title and see what he can do with it, but it didn't work. Um So with that being said, I know Randy Orton was already the household name when he wanted and cashed in, but we can all say that Randy Orton, I think he he did this on Daniel Bryan, and that was a big pop. I think I think um I can't remember exactly how it went down, but I think Triple H screwed Daniel Bryan over and then Randy Orton cashed in or something like that. Um but obviously Randy Orton had a better money in the bank cash in than Jack Swagger, and he I don't know. That's all I can say about Jack Swagger, he just wasn't ready for it. So Randy Orton goes on to the next round. Next, I can I messed up because I guess Seth Hollins won it two times, and I put his name on here twice, so that's my mess up. So I had um Braun Strowman versus Seth Rollins. So I guess I accidentally put Seth Rollins on here twice. So I guess Braun Strowman gets a pass with that one. That's my fault. Uh so I put Braun Strowman. I'm gonna go ahead and put Braun Strowman to the next round. Um so I guess we'll go ahead to Daniel Bryan versus Dean Ambrose. Um Dean Ambrose, I think um when he did, he won the WWE title, if I'm not mistaken. But I think Daniel Bryan had a better money to bank cash in than Dean Ambrose did. I think it was Dean Ambrose's first time, I don't think it was Dane Bryan's first time winning the world championship, the world title. But I think Daniel Bryan um was a better money to bank holder than Dean Ambrose, and I think he had a better cash in. So I'm gonna give this one to Daniel Bryan. So Daniel Bryan goes on to the next round. Sorry if I'm like, you know, trying to I'm I'm moving through this a little quickly because I have to go to work here in a minute. So I'm trying to get this episode out for you guys. So sorry about that. But um anyway, I'm gonna go ahead to the next two competitors in this Big E versus Brock Lesnar. Um I think Big E got a big pop when he won the WWE title when he cashed in. But was his was that better than Brock Lesnar, right? Because I remember Brock Lesnar holding the briefcase like a boom box whenever he had the briefcase and stuff like that. But this might be shocking, but I think Big E cash in was better than Brock Lesnar's. Brock Lesnar was already the household name. Big E was too, but that was his first title win, and it was a he had a big pop. I think he beat Bobby Lashley for the WWE title. Uh maybe it was the universal title, and he had a big pop, way bigger than Brock Lesnar's. Um yeah People might disagree with me on this, but I'm gonna have to say Big E, Money and Bank cash in was better than Brock Lesnar. I think his him, uh I think he the money and bank pre-Ks. I don't know. This is hard, it's hard. I'm gonna go off the cash in. I think his cash in was better than Brock Lesnar, so like I said, people might disagree, but I'm gonna say Big E cash in was better than Brock Lesnar. So I'm gonna put Big E uh over Brock Lesnar, and that might be a surprise to people, but next we got the Miz versus Otis, which is a weird this is weird because Otis actually, I think he lost to the Miz. Um he had to give his briefcase to the Miz after he lost to him, so I don't this is a weird one to have them two up against each other. I think that was the only time Miz held through money in the bank briefcase, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe he won it I I don't know if he's a two-time winner or not. Uh I can't remember, but I'm gonna say just cause um offer that Otis losing the uh money in the bank briefcase to somebody. I'm gonna say the Miz was a better money in the bank or held the money in the bank briefcase better than Otis, if that makes sense. But I don't know. I'm gonna put Miz over Otis. So Miz goes on to the next round. And now it's time for the second round. And first up, we got Dolph Zittler, who had to buy from the first round versus Seamus. Everybody remembers Dolph Zittler's uh cash-in. It was a big pop. It was it was amazing. Way his cash-in was way better than Sheamus. Everybody was ready to see Dolph Zittler on top. Great on the mic, great in the ring. WWE should have done way more for Doll Zittler than what they did. His cash-in was definitely better than Sheamus, so I might have to put Doll Zittler over Seamus. Next, we got CM Pump versus Edge. And this one was a tough one as well. But I guess I'ma since I've been doing it this way, I'm gonna do it off of pops. And I don't know, both of their pops won. CM Pump versus D uh cash in, he had a bit pop, and so did Edge. Um I was gonna say maybe I can say CM Punk because he won it two times, but that's he might as well just say he's the winner of the whole thing if I do it that way. Uh, because I don't think too many other people in this has won it two times besides him. But I'm gonna say that CM Punk No I think Edge done more for the Money and Bank than CM Punk. Well, then again, I don't know, because the the what the Money and Bank did for CM Punk was amazing. Um this is rough. This is a rough one. In my opinion, and it's just my opinion, y'all might have some I might have a different opinion. If you know, I mean if you do, just let me know. I'm gonna say CM Punk was a better money in the bank. Um I don't know how to word this. A money in the bank older than edge. I'm just gonna say it that way, I guess. So I'm gonna say I'm gonna put CM Punk over Edge. So C Punk moves on to the next round. Next we got John Cena versus RBD. Um I really don't even remember John Cena being the money to make winning, to be honest with you. So RBD, I think it was his first first time winning. No, no, it wasn't the first time winning, or was it? Maybe it was his first time winning the WWE Championship when he cashed in. I think he cashed in on John Cena, if I'm not mistaken. Um in my opinion, I'm gonna say, and this might come to a shock to people as well, and John Cena was one of the guys that got to buy in the first round too, by the way. But I'm gonna say RBD, Rob Van Damme was a better money in the bank holder than John Cena. So I'm gonna put RBD over John Cena, and that might be a shock to people. Let me know if you would let me know if you think John Cena was a better one. Or if you would do things differently. Just, you know, let me know. Next we got Baron Corbin versus Randy Orton. I think Baron Corbyn was the one, one of the ones that got it and cashed in and lost. And I guess off of that, and he didn't really do much. They didn't really do much of Baron like they should have in WWE. He was great on the mic, great in the ring. They should have done way more. But unfortunately, I think Randy Orton was a better holder than Baron Corbyn. Because like I said, they didn't really do nothing with him. And yeah. And I'm just gonna go based off of that. So I'm gonna put Randy Orton over Baron Corbyn. So Randy Orton goes on to the next round. Next, we got Kane versus Braun Strowman. Um, I guess uh uh Kane was one of the ones that got a buy in the first round as well. Um Kane won it. I think he won the money and then cashed in later on that night. Then won it, if I can remember correctly. I don't know who he won it off of, to be honest with you. But Braun Strowman, I think he won it, it was the first time winning a WWE title. Um didn't really do much with him after that, and Kane didn't really do much as well. So with this one, I'm gonna have to say Braun Strowman was a better money bank holder, all because it um gave him his first world title. So I guess I can I'm gonna go based off of that one. This one was was tough because both of them didn't really do anything with the money and banking afterwards or anything. So I'm gonna give it to Braun Strowman. Next we got Damian Priest versus Daniel Bryan. Um Dam uh Damian Priest got a bye in the first round. Um he won it a couple years ago at um he cashed in on Drew McIntyre at Drew McIntyre won it from Seth Rollins. Um and that was his first world title. But was he a better money and bank holder than Daniel Bryan? Or a better money in the bank winner than Daniel Bryan. Um in my opinion, I'm gonna say no. I'm gonna have to put Damian Bryan over Damian Priest as a better money than bank winner. So, in my opinion, I'd say Daniel Bryan was a better money in the bank winner than Damian Priest. So Damian Bryan moves on to the next round. Next we got Drew McIntyre versus Big E. Uh, Drew McIntyre again was the guy that got a buy in the first round. Um let's see, I think when he won it and cashed in. Um it wasn't that long ago. But this was a rough one too, because Big E, the poppy guy, and well, I guess I'm gonna go based off of this one on this round. It's what they did after they won the championship, and I think Drew McIntyre did more than Big E. Big E didn't really do much. And I I say that because I think after he won the championship, he got hurt not too long after that. So, you know, it kind of he didn't get the run that he deserved. But I'm gonna have to give it to Drew McIntyre if I'm being honest. So I'm gonna say Drew McIntyre was a better money in the bank winner than Big E. So, based off what he did after, and I like I said, I know Big E got hurt, but and that's unfortunate. But I think Drew McIntyre was a better money in the bank holder than Big E. Next we got Mr. Kennedy versus the Miz. This one's pretty easy too. I think Mr. Candy lost it to somebody. Um, he didn't even get to cash it in. I can't remember who it was he lost it to. But off of that, I'm gonna have to say that Miz was a better money bank holder than Mr. Kennedy. I don't even remember Mr. Kennedy winning the money debate, to be honest with you. But I do know that he lost it to somebody. I can't remember who it was, but it wasn't memorable, so I'm I'm gonna give it to the Miz. Getting a buy on this. Like, so the myth goes on to the next round. That's shocking to me. I don't know about y'all. And y'all might say differently. Y'all might say Mr. Candy was, but Mr. Candy was also one of them guys that WWE never did anything with. Great on the mic, great in the ring, but I think all because I think he had injured Randy Orton. He was going for a big push until after that. After he injured Randy Orton, they just was like, nah, we ain't gonna give you the push. And they didn't do nothing with him after that. And they pretty much just buried him after that. So, which is crazy. But now we in the Elite Eight. And we're gonna start off with Dolph Zittler versus CM Punk. Let's see. Yeah, like I said before, Dolph Zittler, he had a big pop as the when he won the Warrior Heavyweight title. But I'm gonna say that CM Punk was a better money in the bank winner than Dolph Zittler, because Dolph Zittler didn't really do much after he won the world title. Not as much as CM Punk and what it did for CM Punk after he won the Warrior Headway title. So with that being said, I'm gonna say CM Punk was a better Money in the Bank winner than Dolph Zittler. So CM Punk goes on to the next round. And next we got RBD versus Randy Orton. Um this one is kind of tough as well. Um but in my opinion, I'm gonna have to say honestly, RBD was a better money and bank holder or money and bank winner than Randy Orton. And like I said, if y'all feel differently about that, let me know. Um it's just my opinion, and I think people some people agree with me on that. So I'm gonna put RBD over to the next round. Next we got Braun Strowman versus Daniel Bryan. This one's pretty easy to me. I'm gonna say Dan Bryan was a better money in the bank winner than Braun Strowman. So with that being said, Dan Bryan goes on to the next round. Next we got another easy one because it's Drew McIntyre versus the Miz. And the Miz begin to buy because last round you had Mr. Kennedy who lost his briefcase to um somebody didn't even get to cash it in in the first round. He had Otis, who the Miz beat to get the money to bank uh briefcase. So yeah. Um, but he's not gonna get it easy this time. He goes against Drew McIntyre, and obviously to me, Drew McIntyre was a better money-to-bank winner than the Miz. So Drew McIntyre goes on to the next round, and now we got the Final Four with CM Punk versus RBD first. RBD, he's beat people like Randy Wharton and John Cena, and well, Austin Theater was the first round, but and people might disagree with me on that, um, but it's just my opinion. But this time, this is where CM Punk doesn't get the win to me because I think CM Punk was a better money in the bank winner than RBD. So with that being said, I'm gonna say CM Punk moves on to the finals. And after that, we got Daniel Bryan versus Drew McIntyre. Um to me, I'm gonna have to say the winner of this is um Daniel Bryan. Um I think he was a better Money Bank winner than Drew McIntyre, so Dan Bryan goes on to the finals. And the finals this time is not really that hard to me, to be honest with you. Um, we got CM Punk versus Daniel Bryan. And I don't just what the Money and Bank did from CM Punk is what's putting him over. Like we got the pipe bomb out of this, we got so many great moments from C and Punk from this. So I don't think nobody disagrees with me when I say this. I think, in my opinion, CM Punk is the best money and bank winner of all time. So CM Punk is your winner, and yeah, in my opinion, CM Punk is the best money and bank winner of all time. If you disagree with me, let me know. You can um you can um let me know on X, the SmackDown with Mario's, my name on there. Um on YouTube, so like and subscribe to me over there.
