Jerred Metz
Jerred Metz, earned a Ph.D. in literature and philosophy from the University of Minnesota. He has taught literature and writing at several universities. He has had several careers in addition. Five books of poetry—Speak like Rain, Angels in the House, The Temperate Voluptuary, Brains, 25 Cents: Drive In, and Three Legs up, Cold as Stone: Six Legs down, Blood and Bone, three of non-fiction prose—Drinking the Dipper Dry: Nine Plain-Spoken Lives; Halley’s Comet, 1910: Fire in the Sky, and The Last Eleven Days of Earl Durand have been published. His novel, The Angel of Mons: A World War I Legend,appeared in 2014.
