Good morning. We're gonna start our spiritual warfare series because as you can tell, the enemy isn't hiding anymore, and a lot of us believers are fighting from a place of of loss because we're not stepping into the full authority of Christ and we're not fighting from victory. Now, if you've read any warfare books, you know that warfare requires you studying your opponent and creating a strategy so that you have victory in the war. Now, spoiler alert, we all know that Jesus Christ already won. So if you believe in Jesus Christ and you believe in the Bible, then you are fighting from victory. So you need to change your tactics and your strategies, learn the tools of the Bible so that you can have victory in all areas of your life. That is in the will of God for you to walk in your authority in Christ, for you to be healed, for you to be delivered from the demons, for you to have blessings and abundance. This is in the will of God. This is all in the Bible, and we need to fight as warriors in Christ out of victory. So, one, read Ephesians 6, okay, the armor of God. It's it's so important that we memorize this, okay? So Ephesians 6, chapter 10. I'm reading in the amplified Bible because I really enjoy that version of the Bible because it really elaborates on what the original translation is. So I'm gonna read it out for you guys. Ephesians 6, 10. In conclusion, be strong in the Lord, draw your strength from him, and be empowered through your union with him, and in the power of his boundless might, put on the full armor of God, for his precepts, his word, his his rules and laws, are like the splendid armor of a heavily armed soldier, so that you may be able to successfully stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, contending only with physical opponents, but against the rulers, the powers, against the world forces of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly supernatural places. Therefore, put on the complete armor of God so that you will be able to successfully resist and stand your ground in the evil day of danger, and having done everything that the crisis demands to stand firm in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious, so stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the band, the wide band of truth, which is personal integrity, moral courage, around your waist, and having put on the breast place, breastplate of righteousness, an upright heart, and having strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news. Above all, lift up the protective shield of faith, which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, with all prayer and petition, pray with specific requests at all times, on every occasion, and in every season, in the spirit and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition, interceding in prayer for all God's people. Okay, that was Ephesians 6, verse 10 through 18. This is the amplified version. I highly recommend that you go get an amplified version so that you can really study the Bible in its fullness and have a little more understanding for it. Now, what I want to talk about is first, learn what the armor of God is. Understand how important it is to walk out with these tools, your your faith. Okay. Second, I want to talk about some of the enemy's strategies against you. Now, in this video, we're gonna just talk about strategy number one because if I talk about all of them in one video, it's gonna be a very lengthy video. I want to keep this kind of short. Strategy number one, the enemy goes against your passion, okay? He seeks to dim your whole desire for prayer, he doles your interest in spiritual things and downplays the potency of your most strategic weapons. Once again, read Ephesians 6, 10 through 20. Okay, what are our weapons? What did the armor of God just talk about in Ephesians 6? Okay, well, let's talk about the first thing, right? One, we need to resist and stand our ground in the evil day, which is of danger. So when you're feeling attacked, you need to resist those attacks. You cannot come into agreement with failure, with with fear, with doubt, with selfishness, with false humility, with pride. You cannot come in agreement with those things because everything is done on a legal system in the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. Everything is done in a legal system. And when you open the door to the kingdom of darkness with any of the things the enemy uses, I just listed a few, then you're giving him legal grounds to come into your life and to mess with it. Whether that be with your mind where the battlefield is, or whether that be with things that happen to you that are negative things. Remember, God allows us to go through trials and tribulations, but he will always rescue us from those trials and tribulations and make all things work for our good because we love him. But he still expects us to partner with him and memorize his precepts, memorize his word, and use the tools and the strategies that he's given us. For example, if you're experiencing fear and doubt, then you say, in the name of Jesus, fear and doubt, get out. I am a child of the most high God, and perfect love casts out all fear. God is perfect love and his spirit is inside of me. Therefore, fear and doubt, you have no authority here. Get out in Jesus' name. I plead the blood of Jesus over my mind, body, soul, and spirit over every place that I go. I claim the territory for Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Guys, you gotta learn prayer. You gotta learn prayer strategy. Because if you don't understand strategy, you don't understand spiritual warfare, you are already fighting at a losing place when we have the victory in Christ. We have literally all the knowledge and the tools we need to be successful in this book, the Bible. And you need to understand what the Bible says, you need to read it every day. It doesn't matter if you've read it every day for 20 years. The Lord is still speaking to you, he's still changing you, he's still sanctifying you, he's still revealing great and wonders and marvelous things through his word, and you need to eat your daily medicine, which is the Bible, your daily bread. This is your sustenance. Read it and read it with the Lord guiding you. Always invite him in, okay. Now, the second thing, so we have to stand firm and resist the enemy, okay? Don't let those thoughts in. Second thing is having tightened the wide band of truth, okay? Personal integrity, moral courage around your waist, personal integrity. Sadly, we look at the church and I don't see a lot of personal integrity, I don't see a lot of honesty, I see a lot of false humility, a lot of hypocrites, and a lot of religiousness, and a lot of competition and a lot of dissension, and I don't see humility, I don't see truth, I don't see integrity, and I know that the non-believers don't see it either. I have a whole video on we are all fighting each other in the kingdom of God when we should be fighting the enemy, but that's what the devil does is he perverts things, and he's gotten the church to where we're literally fighting amongst ourselves, and that's weakening the message of the gospel. So we all need to stop fighting against each other, and we need to stand firm in truth and integrity, and we need to fight the enemy. That's what we need to be doing, as brothers and sisters. I don't care what denomination you are, I don't care what church you go to. We're all one church underneath Jesus Christ. That's it. So let's stop debating the Bible and let's start going out and preaching the good news to the lost, and let's start being peaceful and unified because that honors the Lord. Okay, what does Jesus say? A kingdom divided will not stand. So let's stop with this division, let's stop with this dissension, and let's join in unity and preach the good news because Jesus is coming back soon and there is an urgency. We need to be spreading the good news, we need to be showing the love of Christ, we need to walk in truth and have courage and be bold because another thing that's happening is everybody is so offended now when you try to tell them, hey, what you're doing isn't right according to the will of God. I I don't know how many people come at me and are like, you're hateful, you're a bigot, you're you you're all these things, and I'm like, yo, like I'm just trying to help you because the Lord corrected me, and I had to receive that correction and allow his change in my heart and in my mind and in my actions because that's what his word says, that's what he wants from us, and I'm just trying to help you because the Bible says iron sharpens iron. I'm trying to help you so that we can all have victory in Christ and we can all make it in the rapture because some of us aren't making it, okay? Lukewarm Christianity is running rampant, and what does God say about that? What does Jesus say about lukewarm Christianity? He says, I will rather you be hot or cold, therefore I'm going to spit you out of my mouth. Guys, lukewarm Christianity, it has to go. Kill it, kill your flesh, kill all the things that do not honor the Lord. Stop putting your foot in the devil's playground because you, with every action, every thought that you do, you are either serving God or the devil. And if you're ser like okay, so you're serving God, the devil, or yourself, okay, and if you're serving yourself, you're still serving the devil. So you need to humble yourself, you need to move away from your flesh, ask the Lord to help you remove every impurity, every wickedness from you, and you need to ask that every day. Because every day we're faced with a new temptation, we're faced with a new strategy from the enemy, and every day we need to put the armor of God on and ask the Lord to remove deception and delusion from us. All right? Now, the breastplate of righteousness, that's an upright heart. We need to walk in the precepts of the Lord, we need to delight in his law, we need to humble ourselves and realize that his ways are higher than our ways and his thoughts are higher than our thoughts. And we need to understand that some of these things that we desire are not honoring the will of God, and we need to get rid of them because they become idols in our hearts, and we need to tear those idols down, and we need to repent and follow the way of the Lord, walk in righteousness. Now we need to have the gospel of peace strapped on our feet so that we can face the enemy with a firm-footed stability and the readiness to produce the good news. If you don't know the gospel, if you haven't memorized the word and read it and studied it, deception and delusion from the enemy, deceit from the enemy is going to twist your thoughts and it's gonna justify your sin so that you stay trapped in your sin and you stay trapped in bondage and you're not really repenting. Therefore, if you're not really repenting, you have to ask yourself, what does the word say about that? If I don't repent, what does the word say? Because it says you're not making it in the rapture and you're not making it to heaven, and I'm not here to tell you that, but I'm just relaying to you what the Bible says, all right, and we need to stand firm and lift up the shield of faith. We need to fight in faith. If you believe in Jesus Christ, you believe in the Bible, then anything you ask in God's name, if it's according to his will, in Jesus' name, if it's according to his will, it will be done for you. And then Jesus also says, you ask and you don't receive because you're asking with ill intentions to fill your desires. Okay, the Lord had to correct me hard. He was like, Marissa, you're not receiving what you're asking for because you don't have the right desires in your heart, and I would justify it. I'd be like, Why I've faithfully tithed for the last decade, Lord. Like, I've always given to people, I've never been selfish, I've never been greedy. Excuse me. And I I would I would live in that false humility. And the Lord revealed to me, He's like, Yes, you have generosity, but you also want to go on all these fancy vacations. That I'm not saying vacation is wrong, and I'm not saying treating yourself is wrong, but I had the desire to fly on private jets, to buy yachts, and and why? Why did I need those things? Why did I want those things? Who did it serve? And I'm not saying money is bad. Once again, money is a resource and it can be used for the kingdom of God, but my intentions weren't pure deep inside, even though I had false humility and and I was like, Oh, I'm a generous person, I always give more than I spend on myself. Okay, that's all fine and good, but deep inside I still wanted to buy all these things that I really don't need. And I'm not saying these things are bad, but they were idols in my heart, and God had to reveal that to me. They were it was insidious, it was deep inside the depths of my heart, and I praise the Lord for revealing it to me and humbling me because I don't want to be deceived and I don't want to walk through deception, and we need to have the helmet of salvation, okay? And the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, protect your mind and know that you are saved. Know that God will bring to completion the good work he began if you keep seeking his face, if you keep working out your salvation daily with him, if you keep humbling yourself and repenting and coming with a humble heart to him to receive his correcting, work that salvation out every day and have the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, memorize the Bible, make battle cards on note cards, bring them everywhere with you. You need to memorize the word of God because that's the truth that fights all deception, and you have to declare these truths out loud with your mouth and with all prayer and petition, pray with specific requests at all times, on every occasion and every season in the spirit. So praying in the spirit can be very difficult because to get to that place where you're connected with God's spirit is it takes discipline, it takes you sitting in the secret place sometimes for hours. If you have ADHD like me, getting into the spirit can be very difficult, or it used to be, but then the Lord took me through a season of going in the prayer closet and meditating on his word and and listening to him and writing down everything that he would tell me, and then I would have to go find it in the Bible, and it the Bible would confirm what he was telling me, and then praying, Holy Spirit, take over my mouth and speak the words of the heavenly father onto earth so that his will will be done and not mine, and then praying in tongues or praying just in the spirit, it can be in English, but the spirit's taken over your mouth, and you're praying all of these fire prayers that you yourself would have not known. It's the spirit of God that is coming and flowing through you and speaking forth the will of the Lord onto earth. And remember, we need to stay alert with all perseverance and petition for all God's people. So let's break that one down. Staying alert with all perseverance. We all know the Bible says be of sober mind because the enemy prowls around like a lion, looking for those to devour. Well, in the Greek, sober doesn't just mean no alcohol, no drugs. It also means to a focused mind. Because a lot of us aren't sober in the sense of we are so distracted with social media, with our appearance, with our looks, with what we have, with TV. We're so distracted with our work, our desire to build businesses, to show off to people. We're so distracted that we're not sober-minded, we're not focused on the Lord, and we're not seeking his face above our own. So we need to stay alert with perseverance because the day of the Lord is near, and we I want you to make it to heaven. I wanna I want you to make it in the rapture. I don't want any person left behind because it's scary what's gonna happen. It's scary. I truly never want to be separated from God when He takes the advocate, the Holy Spirit, out of the earth, and evil will run rampant on the earth in the tribulation. It's scary. Those people are going to suffer more than any time in history. It's so scary, and God doesn't want you to be in that place. That's why he's sending out his prophets to talk about repent, repent, turn from your wicked ways. That's why he's a lot of churches are are diving deeper into the Bible and they're really getting into the spiritual warfare, they're getting into deliverance from the demons, they're getting into the deceptions, which is great. The Lord is trying to warn us all. Hey, the day of Jesus is coming, and we need to be ready and stand firm. We can't allow sloth, laziness, and deception to steal our salvation or to steal our opportunity to go up in the catching up of the church, the rapture. All right, and we need to petition, which means to intercede, which means to pray for other people, for God's people. Pray every day for the church of God, the children of God, those being persecuted. Pray that they have strength and that the Lord supernaturally gives them peace and that he blesses them. Pray that your family and friends have eyes to see and ears to hear, and the Lord removes their stiff necks and softens their hearts. Pray against praise. Pride, pray against bitterness and anger and unforgiveness. Pray against jealousy and covetousness and competition. Pray, pray, pray for your brothers and sisters. We need to help one another. We need to stand firm in the word of God. We need to have a passion for the Lord and His way and His will. Whew. Alright, guys. That was just part one of Spiritual Warfare series that I'm launching. Okay, it's gonna be on all the platforms. Um, I'm gonna talk about strategy number two tomorrow. Uh, it's gonna be a good one, but I highly encourage you to memorize Ephesians 6, verse 10 through 18. Memorize it and also go back and read Ephesians like 1 through 5 because it will give you a better understanding of your authority in Christ and how we are seated with Christ in the heavenly realms, which means we have the power and authority of Christ. You are fighting from victory, friend. You are fighting from victory in the in the blood of Jesus, and you will have victory in your life. Declare that over yourself, believe it in faith.
