Who's Brad Lea?
Spent the first half of my life focused on helping myself. Did alright. Struggled. Felt empty.
Spent the last 20 years focused on helping others. Authentically helping others. Life has never been the same. Living abundantly. Feeling fulfilled.
It was 1999 and I was running/training and managing a sales team. I was very successful at sales and always had a knack teaching people how to close, sell and persuade people. One day, I noticed a very hard working individual that was making minimum wage. Decided to help him make more money and the for the first time authentically wanted to help someone else without expecting anything in return. Crushed it. Within 3 months he was making $10-15,000 a month and it literally changed his life...and his family's life. Nothing I had ever done felt so good. That was the first time I felt fulfilled and "worth" something. That started it all. I quit my job and decided to start a training company to help as many people as I could by teaching them how to sell, close and persuade. Within 6 months I realized I was failing miserably. I couldn't understand why I couldn't seem to get people to change their behavior and find success like I had so many times before. That is when I found the 4 Keys to effective training.
Good content, repetition, practice and accountability. Through my research I found that most companies were making the same mistake, so I decided to build a technology to fix it.
