Hi everyone, welcome back to The Magic of Teamwork Part 2. So, in part 1, we talked about what teamwork looks like in real life and how it helps us solve problems, why listening matters, how we can disagree respectfully, how it helps us solve problems, and why everyone should feel included. And yes, we are wearing the hats that we decorated, and we're calling them our imagination hats. We even have a creativity wand with us and we are giving it a little wave. Here you go, do you hear it? Okay, we are all set and ready to tell our story together, taking turns and using teamwork and having fun. So now let's jump into our story time magic.

SPEAKER_01

This story is called The Boy and the Girl Worked Together. There was once a girl and a boy in their class. The teacher's name was Mrs. Joy. There was Selena and Tom.

SPEAKER_00

They love teamwork. And they became friends and they did teamwork together. But not everyone liked that they were working together. There were two girls named Liana and Ella who were being mean.

SPEAKER_01

They said, Why in the world do you have to be working together? There's a girl and a boy.

SPEAKER_00

Hmm. How about we pause here for a magic thinking moment? If you were Selena and someone told you that you shouldn't work with a friend just because they're a boy or a girl, how would that make you feel?

SPEAKER_02

And what would you say back kindly and confidently? Selena did not listen.

SPEAKER_01

She said, I can work with whoever I want. Selina said that you're being mean. After that, her friend went off to tell the teacher. And Ella tried to explain first. Her best friend is working with the boy. We told her we can't let her do that. And then she said we're being mean. But Mrs. Joy had a different idea. The teacher said, Well they are doing homework and you can't just tell them. Maybe you I guys can all work together. But Ella wasn't ready to give up. Ella stepped in one more time and she and she went a little harder than Liana. Ella said that we cannot work with a boy.

SPEAKER_00

But her teacher didn't believe that. So Selena and Tom focused on their project. And they finished their project before anyone else. At the end, they pulled everything together and added their own special touches. They presented it right on time. It was the best one.

SPEAKER_01

They wanted A plus. They worked together. The teacher said that I love how they work together. And Bionna and Ella. They still didn't learn anything about teamwork at all. Instead, they kept on being bad and were sent to the principal's office. The end. I hope you like the story.

SPEAKER_00

This story was such a great reminder that teamwork isn't about who you work with, it's about how you work together. Real teamwork comes from kindness, respect, and being open to different people. It doesn't matter if someone is a boy or a girl, a new person or someone you knew from before. What matters is how you treat each other. And when you include others and work together, you can create something pretty amazing. Now are you ready for some fun facts? Did you know some birds like geese fly in a Wii shape when they travel together because teamwork helps them save energy. They even take turns leading and helping each other along the way. And here's another fun fact: bees are amazing teammates too. In a beehive, every bee has a special job that helps the whole group. Thank you so much for joining us as we talked about the magic of teamwork. We had so much fun talking about it. And remember, the real magic is in the fun and laughter you share with those you love. Until next time, keep exploring, keep being creative, and keep building your teamwork skills. Join us here next time. Join us here next time.
