In this week’s episode of Beyond the Brand, we’re diving into one of my favorite topics—imagining, designing, and fully stepping into your dream life. ✨
So often, we get caught in the rhythms of everyday living and forget to ask ourselves what we really want. And when life already feels blessed, it can feel almost indulgent to dream bigger or differently. But creating your dream life isn’t about excess—it’s about alignment. It’s about peace. It’s about feeling good in the life you’re building every single day.
In this episode, I walk you through the reflective questions that have helped me shape my own dream life—questions about habits, values, spirituality, energy, empowerment, and the future you’re envisioning for yourself. We explore how changing even one small habit can change the entire direction of your life.
I also share my personal version of a dream life—the views I want to work to, the book I plan to write from a cabin in the Rockies, the routines I’m building, the simple joys that fuel me, the wellness habits I’m still mastering, and the creative outlets that keep me connected and inspired. From cooking and gardening to long walks, afternoon porch naps, and deep conversations with the people I love—these are the pieces that make my life feel meaningful.
Inside this episode, you’ll discover:
✨ How to evaluate whether a habit supports your future or keeps you stuck
✨ Questions that spark clarity around your values, energy, and spiritual wellbeing
✨ The role of intentional environments in shaping your dream life
✨ Why imagination isn’t childish—it’s essential
✨ How I redefine success through balance, wellness, simplicity, and creativity
✨ What my own dream life looks like and why it might inspire yours
✨ How to take small, aligned actions toward the life you actually want
You’ll also hear a gentle reminder that your dream life doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built through clarity, intention, and consistency. And sometimes, creating change starts with choosing just one habit to shift.
I wrap the episode with a creative invitation to make this work fun—using reflection questions, journaling, or even a vision board to bring your future into focus.
If this episode inspires you, I’d love to hear from you. Send me a DM on Instagram and share your insights, challenges, or the dream-life habits you’re ready to build. I’m always here to support you. 💛
Hey friend, I'm Tracy Strader, and welcome to Beyond the Brand. I'm all about real conversations, fresh perspectives, and those little aha moments that help us grow in business or life. Over the years, I've built a multi six figure online community by doing one simple thing. Bringing people together through open, honest storytelling. I've been coaching and mentoring entrepreneurs for nearly three decades. My passion is helping others find direction, balance, and healing, and creating spaces where people feel safe enough to just be real. Each week, I'll sit down with entrepreneurs, community leaders. And everyday dreamers who are out there living boldly and inspiring others to do the same. My personal stories, business knowledge, and life experiences will be woven into this podcast as well. So grab your coffee, get comfy, and let's go beyond the brand together. Hello. Happy Monday. I'm glad you've joined in today. I wanna talk to you about creating your dream life. Oftentimes, it's hard to think beyond our current day-to-day lives and imagine something different, especially if we're feeling extremely blessed already. I personally have discovered that less is more slowing down instead of speeding up is more relaxed and peaceful. I've spent a lot of time thinking about what my dream life would look like and how I would feel. For me, it's not so much about fancy things or big luxuries, but more about finding joy in the simple, everyday kind of moments. I envision balance, comfort, wellness, and simply just feeling good. Here are a few questions to ask yourself. When aligning your thoughts and habits with your dream life, does this habit support the future I'm trying to create? Or is it keeping me stuck in my current situation? If I repeated this habit every day for the next year, would I be closer to my dream life or further away? Am I building this habit because it truly aligns with my values or because I feel pressured by external expectations? How can I make this habit more enjoyable and sustainable so that it naturally fits into my lifestyle? Does this habit energize or inspire me, or does it feel like an obligation that drains my motivation? Where am I at spiritually? What's the hardest thing I've had to forgive myself for? And what made that so difficult? What makes you feel truly empowered? When imagining your ideal future, where are you? What are you doing, and who are you with? Do your short-term and long-term goals align with your passions? What problems in the world do you feel most compelled to solve? Creating the life of your dreams is a process of building self-confidence and learning to believe in yourself. Letting go of limiting beliefs that are holding you back in life will be key. Spending time in environments that inspire and uplift you are also extremely important. As I mentioned, I've spent a lot of time over the years imagining my dream life. I did a little exercise a few months back, and this is what I came up with from my dream life, and I'm sharing this with you because I think it will inspire you to come up with your own ideas about your life. So for me, here's what my dream life looks like. I wanna be able to work in a space with a view. Two years ago, I restructured my business so that I would be able to work from anywhere on the planet providing there was internet. 30 days after I made the decision to restructure my business, I found myself in Maui for two weeks. For decades, I've dreamed of writing a book from a cabin in the Rockies with views of snow capped mountains, a cup of coffee and warm fuzzy socks. Eventually that's gonna happen too. I like to cook food that fuels my body. I love the activity of planning meals, chopping veggies, and preparing delicious food for myself, my family, and my friends. I love to read books and sip coffee and relax. Truthfully, I don't do that enough, but I love diving into a good book. My go-to books tends to be self-help, but I can get lost in a good romance or mystery novel too. My daily wellness routine is really important to me. And I've not perfected this part of living my dream life, however, I keep working at it. And after I've completed something such as a workout or a walk, I feel really accomplished. Seven weeks ago, I started on a walking journey and. Each week I have completed 25 miles. My plan moving into 2026 is to up that to 26.2 miles because I just think it might sound cool to say I walk a marathon every week. I don't know. I like the ring of that. Sleeping is also really important. I know without a doubt, I do best with nine hours of sleep every night. I also love a Saturday or Sunday afternoon nap on the porch, especially if it's cold outside with a slight breeze or even a light rain. I love spa-like experiences. Massage and facials are my go-to treatments, and I've been known to pay extra for more time in the shampoo bowl for a scalp massage when I'm getting my hair done. Connecting with my friends and family and my clients are really important to me. I'm there for those deep dive conversations that bring us closer together. It can be while walking, sipping coffee, eating a meal, playing a game. Any of those work for me. To be honest, quality time is my love language. I also like to add creativity into the mix. I have found multiple ways to do this in my life. My top three picks are giving back to my community. I love that I volunteer with a lot of different nonprofit organizations and jump in wherever I can and however time allows for that. I love food, art. So cooking I mentioned is important to me, but how it gets displayed is really important to me. I love that level of creativity, and then I'm learning to garden. My grandparents had. Farm and they had a big garden and I definitely don't have it figured out like they do. I also don't have it figured out as to how to process the food or preserve the food rather. So my gardening at this point is on a much smaller scale so that we can consume whatever it is that I grow. I also love beautiful flowers and fresh fruits and veggies. My body actually craves them. So as I share with you about my dream life, I would love for you to. Take a few minutes and go over this information, answer those questions that I shared with you, and just play for a little while and imagine what your dream life would look like. The key here is gain some clarity on your vision. Set some intentions, and you don't have to do all of them at one time. Just pick one or two that you can start incorporating into your life. Then take the action, take the steps, practice gratitude, because it doesn't come easy. We've got, we've all got really busy lives, so unless you've set yourself up for success and set your intention, it's never gonna happen. It's up to you to make these things happen. A fun, creative exercise that you can do for this process is also creating a vision board. We also need to practice letting go of limiting beliefs, staying consistent and trusting the process of this. I'd love to hear from you on this exercise and see what you thought of it or the things that you struggle with, and you feel free to shoot me a message DM on Instagram and let's have a conversation if you need support. That's what I got for you this week. Thank you for joining me.
