Paths to Glory Kenya

Faith in the Go-Down

Robert Johnson Season 1 Episode 2

In the heart of Nairobi’s Karobangi South, worship rises from an unlikely place—a rented go-down, a corrugated metal warehouse once meant for storing goods, now transformed into a sanctuary. The floor is concrete, the roof leaks when it rains, and the walls tremble with the sound of praise. Yet inside this humble space, the power of God moves freely.

This is the story of a small congregation that chose faith over fear and calling over comfort. When the cost of obedience meant walking away from financial security, they did it anyway—and found that God was already waiting in the uncertainty. From money that appeared just in time to pay rent, to a new keyboard sent by a stranger’s obedience, miracle after miracle became the rhythm of their ministry.

Through every struggle, the light of revival continues to shine in Nairobi’s industrial heart. Souls are being filled, prayers are being answered, and faith is building something far greater than walls of stone or steel.

This is the sound of Faith in the Go-Down.
