God has a super huge plan. We all have to do our part as He assigns to us.

Hello, brothers and sisters in the Lord. This is Brother Rick, and I hope there are some folks that are listening that don't know the Lord, and they could come to know the Lord also. Because isn't that what it's all about? That's why Christians are left here instead of being taken away as soon as we come to know Him. Come as soon as we get saved. It's each and every Christian's personal responsibility to help others come to know the Lord. It really is. That's the main reason we're here. We're here to raise our families and all that. Yeah, but uh that isn't eternity. Eternity is with Christ. And time is short, and people only have a little bit of time on this planet. Everybody only has a little bit of time on this planet, and it's up to us to talk to them about it. This is actually my third time through on this. I bought a new computer, and it's giving me a little bit of a fit with my uh headphones, so we'll try it on my old computer here. Today I'd like to talk about letting the Spirit of God do the speaking for you. Uh and God is a gentleman, He lets us do things, and if we get out of the way, He can really do a good job. I was reading in Acts and it was uh talking about Stephen, and wow, that young man really had the Spirit of the Lord all over him and in him, and his faith was amazing. And if some folks aren't familiar with that in Acts 6 and 7, Acts chapter 6 and 7, it talks about Stephen and the things he did and what he had to go through for the Lord. And we'll all have to go through different things if we actually love the Lord and follow the Lord, and it's that's part of the Christian walk. We will suffer, but it's just for a little while. And if Satan comes knocking at your door, you just say, Jesus, it's for you, because Jesus lives in you. Let him answer, let God answer. We can't contend with Satan or the wickedness of the world. We have things that we say, this or that, but let the Lord do the talking, and it'll be said, it'll be done. The proper words will come out. Like when Stephen was talking to the chief priests and the uh scribes and all the folks, he'd been seized and brought in because he was uh telling people about the Lord and how that he got killed and that he had to get killed because he was the sacrifice. And the sad thing is, that's the way it had to be. Christ's blood had to be spilled so that we could be saved. Us that don't deserve it had to be saved. The only reason that happened because God loves us. He loved us then and he loves us now, and he wants us to come to him, he wants everybody to be saved. And everybody's been given a ticket by Christ's blood. They've been given a ticket to get on the train, headed away from hell, headed to heaven, get on there, get on board. It's the Jesus train, and it's an express route. And but if you don't get on board, you can't be saved. Uh, and all you got to do is just ask God Almighty, in the name of Jesus Christ, to forgive you of your sins and you repent, and you're tired of living in this old world the way you've been living, everybody has to do it. I was living there, I was doing the junk, and sometimes I still stumble, but you know what? I asked for God's forgiveness, and it's just like the foot washing that when Christ washed the apostles' feet, uh, they didn't quite understand, but that's what it is. We walk in this trudging old sinful world, and we're here. We love the people, but we hate the sin. And we talk to them, we let the Lord do the talk, and we ask the Lord to help us, and He will. He'll give us the words we need to talk to people. He doesn't expect us to have it all figured out, and we never will, but he's got it figured out. And when Stephen told these folks about what they did, how they killed the Messiah, how they murdered the Messiah, oh, they didn't want to hear any of that. They weren't going to have it, but it's the truth. And they seized him and they took him out and they stoned him to death. And he had the grace on him to ask the Lord that they wouldn't be, uh, that the sin that they were doing wouldn't be held against them. The very last verse, verse 60 of chapter 7 in Acts, when Stephen asked the Lord, please don't look, don't hold this against them. Because they really didn't know what they were doing. Just like folks that are out in the world here, they don't know. They need to be woke up. We need to wake them up to the truth that hell is waiting for everybody. It's waiting for everybody that doesn't know the Lord. Every person that's ever been born is on the path to hell, and they need to jump on the train that the Lord has given them a ticket. He has given everyone that ticket, but they've got to get on. It's like the free gift. Unless you open that gift and accept that gift, it's no good to you. But it truly is our job as Christians in this world to talk to people and help convince them. We can't don't be afraid, just make sure you you pray and the Lord will give you the words. He really will. And Luke chapter 12, verses 11 and 12, Matthew 10, 19 and 20, and Mark chapter 13, verse 11, it talks about this. That the Lord will he'll give us the words, it'll be his words coming out, it won't be ours, it'll be God's wisdom, and it'll be showstopping wisdom. And each Christian is living an exciting life, it really is exciting. If you're living for the Lord, it's going to be exciting because Satan doesn't want us here, and we are operatives in a strange land, we're in a lost and dying world, but we're operatives for Christ, and we're here to give people the secret that Christ rose from the dead, and he will forgive them if they ask and repent. And he's right here waiting to take them into eternity with him. But Satan doesn't want anybody to know that. But we just let the Lord's Holy Spirit, let God Almighty's Holy Spirit that lives in each and every believer, each and every follower of Christ has the Holy Spirit. Let that spirit speak to people. And like an uh a flaming arrow in darkness, it'll strike hearts and it'll strike minds. And let it let it hit them and let it talk to them and let it convince them. It'll be the word of the Lord convincing them. It won't be us because we can't convince anybody of anything. Don't force it, let the Lord do it. His words will come out of your mouth, and you'll be amazed that sometimes you won't even know what you're saying. But the Lord will, people will tell you later that you know what what's been said, and that the Lord was talking. He's he'll he'll touch the hearts, he'll change the minds, he'll uh purify people. It's him and his blood that will save people, but we have to let his words do it because our words are foolishness. We're a tool in God's toolbox, each and every Christian. We just got to let ourselves be used by God, and he will, he'll use us, and each one has a different job. Everybody, it might be close, but they're each one has a specific one, specific way that they they live and they carry out their life, and the people they touch, and the the places they work, and all this, each everybody has a different way of uh transporting the spirit around. The spirit transports us around, but we carry the spirit in us. And think about it, we have Almighty God's Spirit living in us, Almighty God, the creator of the universe, has answers to everything. We ask him and let him do it. We can't do anything. Like in the 90s, I was uh talking to those folks uh at that church that was sideways, and I'm sorry, but that's what it was, it really was. Um and I love the Lord and I love I love the people, and I I want to help them get right with the Lord, and and there's only one way. That's you you search out the Bible yourself, you investigate it, you don't take somebody's word for it, like what I'm saying. You investigate it for yourself. You don't have to just wait, and everybody says, or not everybody, but some folks they say, if you're not in the church house, you're sinning. If you no, the church is the people. A church building is just that, it's a building, it's empty without people. People are the church. Where two or three are together are gathered together in the Lord's name, there he is also. Matthew 18, 20 says, where two or three are to gather together, there he is also. So hey, you don't have to be in a building. Now we come together to strengthen each other and we hear the word from the preacher, but you can be together, have a good worship service, like when I was in the Navy after child. I went to this, uh, that's how I got saved. Um, I went to where there were believers of like mind and like spirit, letting the Lord lead them because they were there were Catholic people, they were Methodists, Baptists, there were all kinds of people back there. There was a whole room full, there were 10 or 12 of us, something like that, that would get together, and whoever wasn't on watch, they would show up there. And boy, howdy, that was some of the best church, that's the best believers, the best just letting the spirit flow right there. We would pray and we would talk, we would read out of the Bible and we would talk about it. Boy, tell you what, you could really feel the spirit there. Well, each one of us just have to let the spirit let his words come out of our mouth. Come out of our heart, come out of our mouth. Don't don't force it, let the Lord do it. Well, brothers and sisters, this is Brother Rick, and I'm I'm gonna get off of here now, but I pray the good Lord save your souls and his face shine down on you. And I love you in the name of Jesus Christ.
