God has a super huge plan. We all have to do our part as He assigns to us.
Hello, brothers and sisters in the Lord. This is Brother Rick, and I am hoping you all are having a good day and getting ready for spring coming up. And I hope there are some people that don't even know the Lord that are curious and want to come to know him. It's the best way to go through life because and life is so short that to go without him is foolish. Like what's said in Psalms 14, 1 says the fool says there is no God. So please don't foolish and waste your life on just chasing junk. Follow the Lord. He's got a good plan for everybody. I'd like to talk about how Christ defeated Satan. Satan's one main strength was he held the keys to death because of sin. Satan is very powerful. Very, very powerful. Much more powerful than any human beings. He is a fallen angel, and he has led a third of the other angels with him. As it talks about in Revelation 4, talking about the red dragon. There's a lot of symbology in Revelation, but it talks about a third of the stars, which is a third of the angels, fell with Satan. And he has a lot of forces himself, but there's two-thirds that are still with God, and there's God Almighty, who is the ultimate of ultimates. Satan thought by having Christ killed, he would kill the bloodline or stop things, that he had the power over death. Well, I guess he forgot he was dealing with God Almighty. And God says, nay, nay, we're going to straighten things out right now. And after Christ died, three days later, he came back to life. God brought him back to life. And he snatched the keys of death from Satan's hands. The only power that Satan had left. But it was a terrible power, and everyone dreaded it. And people still dread it. I'm not looking forward to it, but it's I'm good. I'm good to go. I'm going to be right with the Lord as soon as I close my eyes the final time, have the final sleep. And anyone else that believes in God and trusts Christ. Death is nothing for us to be super concerned with. As a matter of fact, it gets much better for us when death does occur. It's a scary thing just because nobody's come back to talk about it. Well, there's been some folks saying this and saying that, but Christ is the only one that came back and told us that we have good things to come after death. As it talks about in Colossians 2.15, it says, Christ disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, just saying, You don't have this, I've got this. And he made it known by returning from death that they didn't have the final say, that he has the final say. God Almighty has the final say. I believe that was the final wake-up call to Satan and the demons, that that was it, that their time was very short and their days were numbered. And Christ did defeat Satan, but there are a lot of folks here that still worship Satan. And in Colossians 2.18 it says, don't be worried about that. Don't be worried about those that are worshiping those, and don't be listening to them. They'll be able to do this or that or whatever. Witchcraft is real. But God Almighty has the ultimate power. And any little spells they might try to cast on a Christian is going to bounce off their back like duck off, like water off a duck's back. The first time Christ came, he was meek and humble and lowly and let himself get taken and beaten and murdered. It was the plan. It had to be a blood atonement for all the sin that we have committed. Everyone has committed. One sacrifice for everybody. In 1 Timothy 2, 6, he is a ransom for all. He was given up for all of us. He gave up his life for all of us to be able to come to him, come to the Father, to be saved from the coming judgment, because the entire world is under judgment if they don't know Christ, if they don't follow Christ. And again, in 1 John 2, 2, it talks about a big word here, propitiation, just means he paid for all the sin of the whole world. And when he comes back the second time, he won't be lowly and meek. As a matter of fact, in Revelation 2, 27, 12, 5, 19, 15, and again in Psalms 2.19, he's coming with super authority. He's going to rule with a rod of iron for the millennium, which will be a thousand years. Because when he returns, he's going to destroy a lot of things, a lot of wickedness, but all humans won't be destroyed. Those that trust him and follow him will be translated, will be changed like him, and will be given jobs to do and to rule ourselves. We will be rulers. But there will also be regular people here that didn't die, and they will still have children, they will have babies, they will still be living for a thousand years. Well, not all of them will live a thousand years, but they will live hundreds of years, like when in the beginning in Genesis, when it talks about a lot of purity. Christ fought the war and won the war over death. Since he was able to do that, I believe he could handle our problems. We keep fighting this and worrying about that. We need to give it over to him. He has defeated all of this. He's defeated Satan. He's defeated everything there is, every worry and trouble that we have. We just need to lay it at his feet, surrender to Christ. Let him do any fighting that needs to be done. Anything that needs to be taken care of. He doesn't worry, he just takes care of things. That includes fighting to try to keep up with the Joneses, trying to race to and fro, making a barrel of money. That's not going to follow you into the grave for sure. You've got to leave it behind. You've got to realize what's important. And it's following Christ and helping others to come to know Christ. That's why we're here. Every Christian is here to help others find the same path that we're on. Because everyone is born on the highway to hell, on the path to hell. Everyone. The only one that wasn't was Christ. Because he lived the perfect life and he was murdered and he gave up his life. I say he was murdered, but we did the actual murdering. Anybody that doesn't accept his forgiveness will be considered a murderer of Christ. I wouldn't want to be in those shoes, to tell you the truth. We just have to let Christ do the defeating. He defeated all sin if we would give it to him. He is he casts God throws it, casts it as far as the east is from the west. And he will remember it no more. Unlike humans, we might forgive, but we won't forget. That's an old saying. Because God is God, he can forget. He forgives and forgets. As it's written in Hebrews 8, 12 and 10, 17, and in the Old Testament, in Jeremiah 31, 34, we have a good, loving, all-powerful God that is rooting us on to keep on keeping on. Because Christ has won. Christ was victorious. Some folks might not realize that Christ has authority over everything now. Everything. There's that point right there. And what someone wonderful to be cheering us on. Christ has been given all power by God the Father. And he loves us so much that he gave himself up for us. How many people are willing to give themselves up for their friends? I mean, and he gave himself up for people that even hated him, just in the hopes that they would come to know him. So as we're moving along through life, and sometimes it gets to where it feels like it's a trudge, a real chore just from moment to moment. Call on God. Start praising God. I know you might not want to, just say, Lord, you are wonderful, you are almighty, you are worthy of all praise. Something of that sort. And you will feel yourself getting lifted up. You really, really will. This is the Holy Spirit that lives in you. And we honor God. And He loves us and lifts us up out of our troubles. He was victorious over death, and He's victorious over everything we want to turn over to Him. We can carry it ourselves, or we can give it up and give it to the victor, Christ. I still yet want to hold on to this or that sometimes. And then I man, what am I doing? It's a chore to learn how to give it to Christ, but it's well worth it. Just keep giving to Christ. Keep giving to Christ. Keep giving to Christ. He is the victor. He won over Satan. He won over everything. Well, brothers and sisters, I'm going to get off of here. This is Brother Rick saying, I pray the good Lord save your souls and his face shine down upon you and bless you. And I love you in the name of Jesus Christ.
