If I open my refrigerator and find something spoiled, I throw it out and replace it with what is good. God does this too!!! We as a country need to get back to God! God WILL replace America as a great nation. It's only a matter of when...

God has a super huge plan. We all have to do our part as He assigns to us.

Hello brothers and sisters in the Lord. This is Brother Rick and I hope you all are having a good day and enjoying some springtime. I hope there's some people that are listening that don't even know the Lord or they're curious. I sure do hope so. That's the whole reason we're still here that the Christians are left behind, that are left here after they're saved, and their old person is dead, and hopefully new people could come to the Lord. We can show them how to come to the Lord. We can't do it ourselves, we can't save anybody. But we can show people, set up the introduction, as I like to say. The Lord is good. He is oh so good. He's good to all of us and he gives and gives, and what he wants from us is thankfulness and to be grateful for what we're given. And I'd like to talk about some of that, that we're forgetting how to do that. And I'm just going to talk for America. Talk about America. The whole world is the whole world. But I live in America, and we've become spoiled here in this country. We really are spoiled. We think we're getting behind on our bills a bit or whatever, or or we're barely making it. There are places that don't even have food on a regular basis. People that don't have food on a regular basis, uh, don't have good drinking water. We as a country have forgotten God and forgotten how to be thankful. And we've become spoiled. And when something spoils, you throw it out. I'm afraid that's what's going to happen with America. People think, oh, America is the greatest in the world. Well, Rome was the greatest at one time, and before that there was Greece with Alexander the Great, and the Medes and the Persians, and I could go on. And they were all high, high, high, but America was founded on the freedom of religion, the freedom to worship freely, and we would worship God freely, because it was so overtaken in the old world in Europe that the government was controlling how you worshiped. Now we've become so good. We want our children to have it better than us. Well, that's been going on for a long time. The parents want the children to have better. Parents want the children to have better. Well, now the children have it so good that they take everything for granted. They appreciate very little. Walk into a child's room and the new toys they've just gotten are piled up somewhere or broken or whatever. They don't care for them. We love our children, but we teach them about God. That's the most important thing we can do better than buy them a new Lego set and a new erector set or something, or the latest video game. Teach them about God and how to appreciate things. I'm in this spoiled thing too. I hate to say it, but it's the truth. For example, I forget how nice it is to have good electricity. Or I take something out of the refrigerator and put it in the microwave and warm it up, and I've got a hot meal. Or just go into the refrigerator and getting something cold to drink. And the technology that we've come up with that the Lord has allowed us to develop and to use and to make life easier for us. I don't know that it's better for us. In Proverbs 30 verses 7 to 9, Agur was talking about keep me in the middle. Don't make me so poor that I steal, but don't make me so rich that I uh I forget you. Talking to God. And now every one of us are guilty of this. We've taken our eyes off the Lord. We've gotten it so easy, so easy. We need to get back to the daily bread. We need to try that for a while, thinking about it, because God doesn't have to keep being good to America. He doesn't. As a matter of fact, I see a fall coming. Our debt is getting so massive, and the perversion is getting so rampant, we have become so spoiled, so selfish. We look out for ourselves. And if we would go to a light switch and it doesn't turn on, and then we notice all the power's out, wow, we think, wow. Some may have a generator to be able to fire it up, but it's some work to do and it's not perfect. It could be, it could run out of gas, it could be to where it doesn't run. I guess what I'm getting at is I think sometimes God has to put us at a loss of power state so we could get back to Him, so we can get our minds right with the Lord and with what He wants us to be doing. It's not running around making a barrel of money. We need to be caring for each other. Yes, we talk to people about Christ. Absolutely. And we we care for their needs also. We show the love of Christ in helping them. But as spoiled, selfish little children, we don't know how to help others. We help ourselves. We think that's the way it's supposed to be. Us first, us, us, us, us, us. I'm sorry this turned like this, but the Lord laid this on my heart. And we really are needing to get to our knees before the Lord forces us to our knees. We need to do it voluntarily. Because I've been taken to the woodshed several times by the Lord, and it's not pleasant. And it's turned out that it's been needed, and I can see once I'm out of the trouble what I got into, the Lord helped me and He took me and He straightened me out. He'll crack a crack a something on my butt, using different things to do it, but he can get my attention just like he can get everybody's attention. He's gonna bring worse plagues on homosexuality. He's sending sent different diseases and all this, and they've come up with these different drugs to help things. He's gonna send some things that ain't gonna be able to get cured. And the library will just take out whole bunches of people if they're not careful. They need to turn back to the Lord. We all need to turn back to the Lord. There's only one God, and He is holy, pure, righteous, and almighty. I'm very thankful that the Lord is patient. And He has been patient with us so much and so long. I hope His patience holds up while we get straightened out. If not, He will bring us to our knees. He will. Not if it's when. We can start by just being thankful for what we have. Remember, we have a home, we have a car, we have food, whatever we have, we have our children, we have our wives, we have our health. This can all be snatched away in a moment's notice. I heard in the song, we're all just one phone call away from our knees. I've been there, and it is not good. I'm sure others have too. But we all need to turn back to the Lord because He is going to hold us accountable because He's been given, we've been given so much, and we've helped some, but we've allowed perversion and unthankfulness and pride and just plum ugliness to take us over as a country and our government. The government itself is neither good nor evil, it's the people that run the government. And we have a real problem coming. We go to church on Sunday and we forget about everything that we've heard. We leave it at the church doorstep. We've got to carry it with us. We've got to carry our cross all the time. We've got to pick it back up. Don't just look at it. Don't say, Well, I've got to start doing that again. No, start it. Don't say I've got to start it. Say, do start it. I've got this saying I like to say that I set an ink pen in front of somebody when they say, Well, I tried, I tried. I said, You tried. Okay. Try to pick that pen up. And they go to pick it up. I said, No, no, no, no, don't do it. I said, try to. Either you do or you don't. Trying has nothing to do with it. You do it or you don't do it. We have become so much like Laodicea in Revelation chapter 3, verses 14 to 21, Christ talks about them being lukewarm, that they would either be cold or hot for him. We need to get off the fence, either with the world or we're with Christ. We better be with the world because, or better be with Christ. Oh, forgive me. We better be with Christ because the world is on the way to hell, on that highway to hell. And we've got to help as many as can be helped. We've got to tell them that Christ is returning. And he's not coming all gentle and sweet as he was before. He's coming with a serious seriousness and being a ruler. We do not want to be like the church of Laodicea. Those folks, I don't know how the Lord would handle those if they were like that when he came back. It would be like us when we come back. Would it be like the one servant that kept the one talent and buried it? Like in Matthew 25, 14 to 30. You know, it talks about the one that was given five, three, and one. Well, the ones that had five and three, they went and doubled the money, brought it back to their master. Well, the one that had one talent went and buried it. That's kind of like us now. We're just holding on to something and we're not sharing it. We're not growing it. Our faith is not growing at all. Actually, some of our faith is dead or near dead. We need to revive our faith, brothers and sisters. We need to be busy doing the Lord's will. Or else we're going to be like that servant. And in Matthew 25 and 30, it talks about that that servant was thrown out into the darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. What do you think that means, brothers and sisters? I don't want to find out. And I hope that you all are with me in this and we just be busy as as much as we can. We we help who we can, we talk to who we can about the Lord. We spread his word as much as we can. We live our life, we carry our cross. And when the Lord lays something on your heart, let's just be busy doing it. Well, brothers and sisters, I just I had a strong urge from the Lord to put this out. And we as a country and we as a Christian nation, we've got to remain a Christian nation. Islam is moving in, so we've got to take a firm stand as Christians. Show them the love of Christ, show them the power of the Lord. Just stand up to what's wrong. Well, this is Brother Rick, and I'm gonna get off of here now, and uh I just hope that we can all come away from this being spoiled in America. Because you throw something out that's spoiled, it's of no good. So, but I pray the good Lord bless you and save you, and his face shine down upon you. Until next time, brothers and sisters. This has been some tough love, and I love you in the name of Jesus Christ.
