God has a super huge plan. We all have to do our part as He assigns to us.
Hello, brothers and sisters in the Lord and people that are listening that can come on into the family. That's the only way out of this world that's going in a good direction. And everybody has to make that choice for themselves. I hope you all are having a good day and a good week and still looking up, looking for the Lord to be coming because he's going to be coming back soon. And those that don't have the Spirit of the Lord living inside of them, actually inside of them, aren't going to go with the Lord. And they won't make it into eternal life. Only those that know the Lord and have their name written in the Lamb's Book of Life will make it to eternal life. It's either eternal life or eternal death. You have to make the decision. Not making a decision is making a decision for eternal death. So please choose life. Choose Christ. It's a good way to live. And it's so awesome having the Spirit of the living God living inside of us. It's like a possession in a good way for sure. Possessed by God, and I'm okay with that. In 1 Corinthians chapter 6 and verses 19 and 20, it talks about that the Spirit of God, His Holy Spirit, lives within us as believers. Not amongst us, actually inside of us, consuming us. And again in 1 Corinthians chapter 3, verse 16, Paul's talking to them about, don't you know that you are God's temple? Each person is God's temple. And the Spirit dwells in us as believers. You don't have to take my word for it, brothers and sisters. Look it up for yourself, just to make sure. That's what you should be doing anyway. When anybody talks to you about what's going on with the Lord, follow it along in the Bible. Okay, I have to straighten something out I just said. In John 14, verses 16 and 17, Christ Himself says that the God's Spirit dwells with us and will be in us. So let's take God's word over my word. And once again in Galatians chapter 4, verse 6, talks about God has sent the Spirit of His Son into the hearts of believers. And in Ephesians chapter 1, verses 13 and 14, it says believers are sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. We're sealed. We're gods, we're Christ's. We have the power within us to not allow the world to have sway over us. We have the power of God inside of us. We just have to draw on this power, on his love, on his strength, on his patience, on his goodness. There are so many church leaders, church building leaders, I'll say, that say you have to be in the house here, the house of God, to come to know God, to come to be with God. No, God is inside of each believer. And we come together, yes, to uplift one another and to bring our big prayers to the Lord. This is where it talks about He's amongst us, not only in us, but amongst us, is in Matthew 18 and 20, when it uh the Lord Himself was saying, When two or three are gathered in my name, there I am also. That's when he's amongst us, not only in us, but he's right there with us. People talk about having church. The church is the people. It's not a building. The building is not holy. The building could collapse, it's bricks and mortar. It is the people that is important. It is the Holy Spirit in the people that makes anything holy. It is God that makes things holy. He is the only holy in the universe. And because the Holy Spirit is in us, we don't have to walk around acting all pious and all this mess. We just live our lives and we let our light shine before others and let others see Christ in us. Let his spirit shine through us. I like praying that the Lord would fill me up with his spirit so much that everywhere I walk, I would spill his spirit all over everybody around me. Nothing I'm doing. I want him to save people. And that's what we should all be concerned with. Just that's why we're here as Christians to help people come to know the Lord. We set up introductions with Jesus and He will save them. We can't save anybody, but He can. He can save anybody, no matter what they've done, no matter where they've been, no matter what they've been through, He can save them. All we have to do is ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ. It would be similar to this. Say, God, dear God, please forgive me of my sins. I don't know what I'm doing here. I've made so many mistakes. Please forgive me in the name of Jesus. And after that, we repent. We'll be at a repentant state by even saying that prayer. And that just means changing your mind, not wanting to do the things you've been doing, and to let God take over, let Christ take over your life. We just do the few things he wants us to do. We take up our cross. That just means we follow him and we start following his teachings in the Bible. And a good place to start as a new Christian is in the book of John. Right at the very beginning of John, just read it through. I would suggest just reading it through fairly quickly, then go back and back to the beginning of it again and read it slowly and absorb it and ask questions of fellow believers that could help answer your questions and pray over it sincerely. And be prepared because Satan will be there trying to snatch the very seed that you've been given, the seed of faith. And like in Matthew 13, verses 1 to 23, when Christ is talking about the parable of the sower and how the sower are people that are telling others about Christ, about what he's done for them, but Satan will come along and gobble it up and snatch it away from somebody before they have a chance to let it grow in their heart. We have to be willing to teach people and to show people how to look things up in the Bible and just be available to them and to let them know that they too can be sealed forever with the Lord. They can be his forever, possessed by the Holy Spirit, taken over and let him live inside of them. And when I say this word possessed, we look at movies, oh possessed by an evil demon now. God actually buys us with his blood. Christ bought us with his blood, he's paid for us. We are his. We belong to him. And those people that don't know Christ can have that same thing. It's the only way to come out of the world and live with God forever, be at peace, be in joy. Because going to hell is misery and trouble all the time. And when we're sealed as God's child, we pray continually. We do, like in 1 Thessalonians 5.17, one of my favorite verses. We keep an open line of communication all the time. He'll guide us. He'll guide us in every situation. We just have to lean on him. As a spirit-bit-filled believer, we are children of God, children of the living God. He lives inside of us. And that would help us keep a good mind of things like staying away from the old things we were tied up in before we came to know him. Because those things just lead back to death, try to pull you back into the grave. And because God lives in us, we don't have to live like that. We don't have to be defeated to it anymore. Any addiction we have, we turn it over to God. And with prayer and faith and holding on to God, it can be beaten. I've beaten many addictions. But the world is right there, and Satan is right there to cause stumbling blocks. He's a very powerful, Satan is, but he's not all-powerful, and he's not all-knowing, no matter what people try to say in movies or try to tell you. And there are such things as witches, but they have no holding over Christians. They have no power over Christians. If a witch tries to cast a spell on you, it'll roll off your back like a water off a duck's back. And the more you try to talk to people, the more Satan's going to try to be right in there, trying to cause trouble. You know what? People want an exciting life. This is an exciting life. This is a spiritual battle all the time going on when you're trying to do things for God. Satan is right there trying to do battle with you. You know what? He can defeat us, but he can't defeat God in us. So we just cling to that and we rebuke Satan in the name of Christ. In the name of Christ. Be gone in the name of Christ. Don't be saying, I do this, I do that. Say, Christ rebuke you. Let God do it. Christ is the one that defeated Satan and snatched the keys of death from his hands when he raised from the dead three days after he was murdered here. Romans 10, 13 says that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Anyone. And in Acts chapter 2, verse 38, it talks about repentance and baptism. Repentance is turning from what you were doing, not wanting to do it, trusting Christ. And baptism we do out of obedience through Christ. And it is symbolic. We are baptized into the water, into Christ's death, and we come out of the water as resurrected with Christ. And again in Ephesians 1, 13 and 14, it talks about we're sealed upon believing, and we are Christ. We belong to Christ. We don't have to worry about death and hell anymore. It had such hold on all unbelievers are terrified of death. So many have just stopped talking to me when I try to talk to them about eternal life and eternal death because there's one on each end of the seesaw, and the right end needs to be chosen. And once the right choice is made, the Holy Spirit of God Almighty lives inside of you. Just like lives in me and lives in millions of other believers. And we just have to cling to that and carry our cross daily, brothers and sisters. Well, this is Brother Rick, and I'm going to get off of here now, and I pray the good Lord save your souls and his face shine down upon you. And until next time, I love you in the name of Jesus Christ.
