Encourage one another
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The world we live in is getting more and more twisted and perverted. We Christians need to be encouraging one another. Persecutions are happening in America. We are called narrow minded because of our faith. It is our faith in Christ and what He has done that will save us.

God has a super huge plan. We all have to do our part as He assigns to us.
Hello, brothers and sisters in the Lord and folks that might want to come join the family. Hopefully you will because it's the eternal family, the only good family there is. We have pretty good families here, but on the earth, but the eternal family with God. That is the main goal of life, actually. That's what we're going to end up having to deal with one way or another. Either we're going to follow God or follow Satan. And God has such big plans. He is just laying them all out, and they're starting to come to a head now. In all eternity, time is divided by the coming of Christ to save people from their sins. In all eternity. That's the one main turning point for the human race. In John 3.16, it's laid out very clearly that if we believe in him, we will follow him. And to follow him is picking up your cross daily and denying ourselves, as is spoken of in Luke chapter 9, verse 23. Christ tells us these things. Don't listen to somebody that tells you all you have to do is just you just say the words and you believe. No, you've got to do something. You have to. We have to follow Christ. You know, it's not a boat that we climb in and it just drifts down the river. We've got to grab our oar and guide it to where it doesn't crash. God will help us. He will definitely help us. He is always there for us. Because in Matthew 10, 22, and again in Matthew 24, 13, we have to stand firm to be saved. If we stand firm to the end to be saved. It's not just a little stamp and like a stamp on your hand and come on in. We have to do our part. The part that Christ has laid out for us. Now, we aren't working our way into heaven. As in Ephesians chapter 2, verses 8 to 10, it talks about we've been given a gift from God. There's nothing we can do to earn it. But, folks, they like to refer to verses 8 and 9. But when it comes to verse 10, they they just, well, it's just oh no, no, no. No, it's in there and it says we have to we walk in the good works that God has made. We follow Christ. Following him isn't just going to church on Sunday. And the church is actually a building. It's a good point for meeting. It brings Christians together, but that is not the church. That is a building. The church is the people. We are the body of Christ. We are the actual temples of Christ. As Brother Paul wrote that in 1 Corinthians 3, 16 and 17, saying that we are the temples of God. And the Spirit of God dwells in us. I mean lives right in us. So believe it or not, folks, we are important to God. Each one of us are a temple for His Holy Spirit. And we need to be treating our bodies as such. Just we've got to watch what we take in on television, what we listen to, who we communicate with, how we communicate with two people. In the first book of Peter, chapter 1 and verse 16, it says, Be holy, for I am holy, God is saying. And this is also in Leviticus verses 11, 44, and 19 and 2, chapter 20, and verse 7. So we are very important to God, and we are a part of God's family. And we really are a powerful family together. And I guess I'm saying all that to say this: that there's a great persecution coming, a gigantic, terrible persecution. There's been a constant persecution going on since Christ came. Actually, before that, even on Israel, when Satan was trying to destroy them so many times, but now that they're Christians in the world, Satan is all the more angry. And he wants to destroy the word. He wants to destroy every Christian. And we need to be lifting each other up. When we see somebody tumbling and falling, we shouldn't just say, oh, I'm glad it's not me. We should be helping them at what we can. We talk to them. We invite them over. We have a have a meal with them. We ask them if they want to talk. Even if they don't want to talk, then maybe they'll want to talk later. We don't give up on them. These are our brothers and sisters, our true eternal brothers and sisters in the Lord. I love our country. I'm very patriotic. But we have fallen. Oh, and we are such a sli on such a slide. We won't recover. No country ever has. The only country that's ever recovered is Israel. That's because of in the Old Testament. If you look at the book of the Judges, when they would go down, they'd be brought back up. God would work with them to bring them back. But they would go on a smackdown. But any other country has fallen. France was the big dog for a while. Then Spain was. Greece, Italy. All of these now they're little countries. I say that just because we're the power right now. But you know what? We're not going to stay that way. Depravity is a terrible thing. It is rust in the middle of silver. It'll eat its way out. And silver doesn't rust. What about that? Just like people think America is going to last forever. It's not going to last. God will bring it down. God will bring her down. He'll humble us. He'll humble our country, humble our people. And a little humility goes a long way, especially with the Lord. We need to humble ourselves before the Lord before He forces us into a humble situation. Satan has a terrible foothold on our country. And America is the last stronghold for Christianity. There are other little pockets around, but we've been a Christian nation forever. Well, since we were, not forever, for 250 years or what. And perversion has taken over. And if you speak that homosexuals shouldn't be doing this or doing that, or like drag queens shouldn't be in elementary schools, teach our kids, you can get in trouble. You can lose your job sometimes. Is that crazy or what? Things are on its head. And it's going to get much worse, brothers and sisters. Much, much worse. And I'll be surprised I get to continue putting out podcasts, but I'm going to keep putting it out. Just telling the truth because we are headed in a bad, bad direction. And we're, as a country, we're on the highway to hell. Now there are people in the country that are going against the flow. That's the Christians, and that's what we have to do. We have to encourage one another. We have to grab each other by the hand sometimes, kind of like when the angels pulled Lot. They pulled him physically from Sodom when he was living there. From outside the city, just get him far enough away, him and his wife and his daughters to get them away from the destruction. But we've got to help pull brothers and sisters, because sometimes we all get a little sidetracked. So we be strong for each other. We love each other. We help each other. We don't shake our fingers at folks because, like the old saying says, uh, but for the grace of God, there go I. That would be me. I'd be flip-flop and done if it wasn't for the grace of God. Now we've all got to keep on keeping on for the Lord, taking up our cross daily, and letting other people know, let them see, let them see Christ in us. I don't want them to see me. The old me, shh, the old dead me, I was a nasty somebody. I was just mean and just honory, and it's a job forcing him back in the grave, but I'm just keep doing it. Keep kicking him in the head. Shove yours back in the grave. And we keep marching forward for the Lord. And we encourage one another. We uplift one another. We show love to one another. We keep getting together. We we uh a log that you pull out a fire, out of a fire and set it by itself, it will cool off. But if you put that log back in the fire, it'll get add even more heat to the fire. That's the way it is with Christianity, with with us, brothers and sisters. Each individual temple. We will be susceptible to Satan's attacks if we're not careful, if we don't keep getting together with other Christians and talking and letting them lift us up and we lift them up. We do this for each other. In John chapter 13, verses 34 and 35, Christ gives us this command that we love one another. And that people will know us, know that we are his disciples because we do love one another. And we encourage one another. It is so important because this world wants to destroy us. The world is Satan and his henchmen. They want to destroy every testimony, everybody's story. They want to destroy it. So that other people won't come and say, oh, how foolish they were. Look at them. Well, you know what? We stand firm in Christ. On the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand. That's the truth of it right there. So many in our own families will turn their backs on us. My father turned his back on me because of my Christian faith. That's the truth. He really did. And he thought it was foolishness. And he was all about money and investing. And I tried talking to him and uh the way if he would have let me get a serious conversation going with him about it, I would have told him, I'm donating one life for a billion billion years of investment. That's one life of investment for a billion billion years of payoff. Talk about a payoff. You know, and that's not even all of them, a billion times a billion times a billion and more. But we have to stand firm. We encourage one another because there will be from your own family, from neighbors, all kinds of people you work with, they'll be trying to shut you down. Don't let it happen. Keep following Christ. Keep following Christ, brothers and sisters. Well, this is Brother Rick. I'm gonna get off of here now. I pray the good Lord's face shine down upon you, that he save your souls, and I love you in the name of Jesus Christ.
