Wake everyone the world is on fire

Christ told us in Matthew 28:19, to go out and spread the Good News. We need to wake people up to Christ. That He is the ONLY way to God.

God has a super huge plan. We all have to do our part as He assigns to us.

Hello, brothers and sisters in the Lord. This is Brother Rick, and I hope some people are listening that don't know the Lord and would like to know more about the Lord. I don't have all the answers, but uh I can point you in a direction to where you can find them. That is in the Bible and to the Lord Jesus Himself by just closing your eyes and start talking to Him. The reason I say close your eyes because you block out all the world that way. I hope everybody's having a good day and a good week and uh enjoying the weather coming on. We've been having some storms here in North Carolina and been pretty heavy, but we've needed the rain, so I'll take the storms, bringing the rain. The Lord has been gracious to the Christians in this world just by waking us up, allowing us to come to know him. He chose us. So let's help others wake up and talk to the Lord, ask the Lord, be curious about the Lord, ask other Christians, I hope. As Christians, if we could create curiosity about God and about Christ, that would be a good thing. Because the world, they're just sort of floating along, they're asleep. They really are, and they need to be woke up to the fact that this is all going to end, and everybody's life is going to come to an end. And if people don't realize that they have a choice to make, and by not making a choice, they are making a choice to fall into hell, and that's really the whole nutshell of it. Unless they come to know the Lord, they're in trouble. Everyone that doesn't know the Lord and doesn't follow Christ, follow his teachings and ask for God's help. In the name of Christ, they're doomed. And we've got it's our jobs as Christians to wake everybody up around us. We need to talk to everybody, and uh we don't have to beat them across the face or what, but we just let them know that there is a God who cares, who loves them. And in this lost and dying world, in this hate-filled world, this angry, hate-filled world, there is a another way, and it's through Christ. Christ can show them peace, love, and joy, even in this crazy, crazy world. And every Christian that's walking on the planet can do this, can talk to people. Uh in 1 Thessalonians 5.17 it says, pray without ceasing. That just means to talk to God constantly. Just keep an open line of communication, and he'll tell us what to do. He'll tell each person. Each person has a job, had their own specific job, and we need to be doing it. And we tell people that Christ has come into the world to save the world. In John 3.16 it says, for God so loved the world, everybody in the world, even people that hate Christianity, God still loves them. It's hard for us to love them without Christ, but we we are to love the people and hate to hate what they do, hate the sin. We hate our own sin. We still sin as Christians. We're saved sinners. And I'm even going to go so far as to say this that the world is on fire with sin. And as Christians, we are the uh firemen and firewomen. We can put the fire out with Christ, with his Holy Spirit. He he has the cure for all the the fires that are around. And America as a country is on fire and burning hotter and hotter with sin and ugliness and hate and perversion. Just turn the news on and you'll see it. I I get to where I can't hardly watch very much of it. It's just so hate-filled, and people are wanting to hurt other people for no good reason. And we've got to expect resistance because Satan is alive and well, and he is in this world, and he is very powerful. He's much more powerful than us, but he's not more powerful than God that's in us. And because Satan is in the world, as it says in 1 Peter 5:10, we are going to suffer. We're going to, but we've got to try to help people. This is a temporary suffering. This is a temporary dwelling all of us are having right now. Christian and non-Christian, this is all temporary, and it's going to pass away. And we've got to help people find the path to the good end of things, to Christ. We've got to wake them to the notion that God is good and He is real and He is all powerful. And He did send His Son into the world. We've got to tell folks. It's hard to talk to family, it's hard to talk to the people you work with, but we've got to bring it up. We've got to talk to them. We've got to mention it. We've got to live our lives and we've got to do our best to try to help them find the path to Christ. Everybody that doesn't know the Lord is still asleep. And they're lulled to sleep by Satan, saying, you don't have to do this, you don't have to do that. Just enjoy your life. Just live it up. Get drunk, have sex, have whatever, whatever. And as we're waking people, we're going to be drawing more attention to ourselves. But that's okay. And it's not, that's not the point. It's not to glorify ourselves. What I'm saying is Satan will take notice. Anyone that's doing anything for God will be affected. Here it is. We've got to be setting the alarm clocks to wake everybody we can. Wake everybody we can. Now the way we do it, we just talk to them and uh treat them with respect, but we let them know that there's only one way. One way out of this world. In the book of John, verse four uh uh chapter fourteen, verse six, where Christ says that he tells it that he is the only way to God. He says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through him. No one. All these religions saying this and saying that, we God is the God of love. All these others are selfish and angry and hate-filled. Christianity is the only, I'll call it religion, the only belief that uh God sent his only son. No other religion says this. The other ones have whatever kind of foolishness they've got going on. The reason I say that, because it leads to hell. All the other religions, all the other beliefs lead to hell. Christianity is not a religion, it's a lifestyle, it's a it's a way of life. It's a relationship with God Almighty. And there are a lot of alarm clocks to be set. There are more people alive right now on the planet than have ever existed in history. That's hard to that's hard to wrap your mind around. That's a lot of people, and we're growing exponentially, and we need to try to help as many as can come to the Lord, to come to the Lord, and come out of the world. We've just got to wake them up. I had one podcast I did a while back about the Matrix, the movie The Matrix, and it's the truth. We've got to wake people up to the falsehood that everything's okay, then that there is no God and all this junk. There absolutely is a God, and He loves us. He has sent His Son to help us. That's how much He loves us. He doesn't want to be judging anybody, He wants to save everybody. Even if we just put bugs in people's ear and just talking about Christ a little bit, and uh just talking about eternity to get them to think about God and to think about death, and which the Christian doesn't have to worry about death. We've got it, Christ has it whipped for us, and we just cling to that and we're good. And we've got to let people know that there is an answer, and it is Christ. He has defeated death. We've got to wake them to this fact, it is a fact. Christ raised uh more than uh 2,000 years ago now, and he's gonna be coming back soon. And let's be busy, brothers and sisters, waking as many people as we can. Because all that don't get woke up are going to drop off into hell. We've got to wake them, gotta help them to come to know the Lord. We set up the introduction. We can't save anybody, but we can set up the introduction. I wish I could set off an alarm like Big Ben in London, just to wake people up, just to let them know that God is alive and He loves them. He's not a big, big uh long bearded fella in the sky just waiting with a hammer or a gavel to drop the hammer saying, You're guilty, you're guilty. He doesn't want to do that. He wants to save people, he wants people to come out of this mess. And we've done it to ourselves. He wants to help us, and anybody that gets judged is because they've done it to themselves. Sin is all over everyone that doesn't know the Lord, and they're consumed in it if they don't follow Christ. And we've got to help them, we've got to wake them, we've got to alert them to this. It's a general quarter situation, it really is. Because people are dying every day that don't know the Lord. All we have to do is do a simple prayer to the Lord to ask him how we can be used to help wake people up. He'll tell you, and if you let yourself be used, he will use you. He sure will. There are so many ways, so many ways volunteering to help uh people that can't help their self. Uh and doing it in the name of Christ. Some like handing out tracks and stuff that have a little short story, but most of those get thrown in the trash. Sometimes they they're effective, but we really want to get Christ out there and wake people up. We help them with something, we show them something, we we volunteer, we act like we care, act like we love, and we do love. We show them love. God is good and He will give you an answer, He will help you know what to do and how to do it. And it's a scary thing at first, but you know what? Once you do it, you realize this is all temporary. All this that we're living is so temporary. And if we can wake some people up to come to know the Lord, oh boy, it's it's a wonderful thing. It really is, it's the most precious thing ever. Well, brothers and sisters, I'm going to get off of here for now. Um, I pray the good Lord's face shine down upon you and he saved your souls.
