Hello, brothers and sisters in the Lord. This is Brother Rick. It's been a long time since I put out a broadcast, and I'm just I'm right now I'm physically exhausted. I just come off my roof. I haven't been able to do anything in uh a little over a month. Just we had a tree fall on our house, and I've been busy, busy, busy. And uh the Lord spared us, and my wife had a little bit of a video of it. It was pretty scary. But I'm back and I feel real good about myself. Um I hope you all are uh having a good day and uh good week and enduring the heat. The extremes seem to have a uh a terrible toll on me now that I'm getting older, the heat and then a severe cold. But that's okay. God still got me here on this side of the grass and still talking. Um and that's what we should be doing, all of us. And uh talking to each other and uh trying to lead conversations to the Lord as much as we can. And um that's the whole reason we're here as Christians is to help people come to find the Lord, come to find true peace, eternal life. Is really what we're what it's all about. He has defeated death, he has the keys to death and hell, he snatched them away from Satan. Everybody still has to do that final sleep of uh death. That's just the body dying, the spirit doesn't die, our soul lives on, and we're gonna live on somewhere. Uh and everyone has to make that choice for themselves. And God sent his son into the world to give everybody a choice to make good, a good choice, an eternal choice, a eternal life choice, because we're going to live eternally somewhere. And the best place to be is in the good place of heaven and uh the new earth when it when it's uh made again, after this old earth gets uh destroyed by fire, as it says in Revelation. But we all need to wake up to the fact that eternal life is happening, no matter if we uh uh go through a uh quick death, a slow death, uh whatever, uh like I tell my wife, I said that uh everybody's gonna die. It's just a step over into eternal life, is all it is, one direction or the other. And I hope people would come to know the Lord. But those of us that are still alive, and sometimes we have troubles and pain and a lot of pain. But you know what? It it is a chance to come to know the Lord. The Lord will use pain to draw you near him. He'll lose he'll he'll use circumstances, he'll use whatever he can. He is there knocking on everybody's heart, and he'll quit knocking after a while. So please, people, when you you hear him, if you hear him, please open that door. Talk to him at least. Be curious, ask questions of God. He wants you to ask questions, he wants you to come to know him. He wants to uh have a good relationship, a close relationship with you, with each of us. Like in John 3.16, you know, that's the basic verse that everybody needs to learn that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. That's the King James Version, that's the one I learned on. And whosoever believes in him will uh have eternal life. And the next verse says about uh he didn't send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world. And we as Christians should be helping others find the Lord. We can't save anybody, but we can set up introductions, we can teach people that about Christ, we can teach them about the word, what we know about the word. We need to be reading in the word ourselves and learning and praying and uh communing with other Christians. And then the uh last uh few verses of uh Matthew, the last chapter in the last few verses, Christ had the great commission of sending everybody out to the whole world to spread the good news, and that's what uh gospel is is good news. That's what the word gospel means, good news, and there are four uh stories, I'll call them, but they're they're true stories. Uh Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, the first four uh books of the New Testament, and they have good, good, good information. And I got started in the book of John, and it's a really good book. All of them are good books, but uh John will uh the first uh chapter goes through telling about Christ Himself, about how He is the Word, and the Word was made flesh, and He came here to save people, to save everyone. Everyone that that will, everyone that is willing to be tired or is tired of this whole world and the emptiness of it. Chasing money, chasing women, chasing drugs, chasing booze, chasing drugs, pornography, whatever. It's all empty. It ends in eternal death. It'll lead you to hell. And everyone, everyone, everyone is on the path to hell. Everyone born. Everyone. And Christ is the only way to get off the highway to hell. Take the Christ exit, people, please. He's got the the answer to everything, he's got the the cure for what ails you. Death ails everybody, and he's got the cure for it. Eternal life, and it's only through him. Mohammed, Buddha, all these guys, you know, they might have done some good things or what, but Christ is the only one that defeated death. These other guys' bones are still in the grave, and they're dusty. Christ isn't, he's alive and well, and he wants us to help others find him. Just loving people enough to where you don't want to see them die and go to hell. That's not such a tall order, it's just having a conscience, and and if you think about it, really deep down think about it, people are on their way to hell, and we've got to wake them up to the to that fact. Everybody, and it's not gonna be easy because a lot of people will want to argue with you. Look at poor Charlie Kirk, he was just trying to spread some good word and trying to teach people about uh what the world is doing, about how the world is misleading people, and through the different perversions of homosexuality and whatever else there is out there. Every Christian that is breathing needs to be talking about Christ to someone sometime. We can do it easy. We don't have to be jamming it down their throat, but we just tell people there's another way. It's a better way. It's Christ. Through Jesus Christ alone is eternal life. He's the only way to the Father. The only way. And you can be forgiven for everything you've ever done. Everything, every last thing can be forgiven. All you have to do is ask. Ask God in the name of Jesus Christ. Just say, Lord or God, however you want to call on him, say, Lord, please forgive me. Please forgive me of my sins. In the name of Jesus Christ, please. I want to follow you. I commit my life to you. I give my life to you. Please leave me because I don't know what to do or how to do it. Please show me. You know what? He will. And you answer you end that prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. And he will. He will save your soul. God will save your very soul. He wants to save you, he wants to be close to you. We're his children, those that have accepted his uh his gift. It's a free gift of forgiveness for everything we've ever done. A free, free gift. I tell you what, Christ did it all. He laid his life down for everybody. A blood sacrifice was required. Because death, sin comes by death, and life is through the blood. And Christ gave his life up and his blood washes sins away. It's that simple. You might think it's not, but it is. God is ready to forgive you. He forgave me, he's forgiven millions. And let's make heaven crowded as Charlie Kirk says. Let's do that. If you don't know him, please come to know him. Please, please, please, before it's too late. Because everybody has a too late time. Everybody. It's either death or God's going to give up on you. Please don't let that happen. If he's knocking on your door, please open the door and invite him in. He'll show you a good way to live. How to treat people, how to follow him. First you love God, then you love people. Don't let family get in the way. Don't love, you have to get, like he says, you've got to love him before family. Love him before children. Love him before everything. And everyone has to accept Christ theirself. You can't do it for your children, and your children can't do it for you. Your parents can't do it for you. You have to do it yourself. But you you love God before everything, before money, before everything. Well, this is Brother Rick. I'm going to get off of here. And the good Lord will, and I'll get to talk to you sooner than a month. So no more trees on the house. But in the name of Jesus Christ, I love you.
