Welcome to the full Super Moon in cancer. I promise this is not an astrology thing. I do like to tie it in So Super Moon simply means that the moon is close to Earth. Super, super close it's our first full moon in the winter time. After the winter solstice, it's the moon that is also known as the wolf moon. It's beginning of winter, early winter. The wolves are gathering howling, deciding as a community to thrive through the winter with the support of each other. They're thriving in community. Do you guys remember during COVID, we would all. Wolf howl out our windows. And how exhilarating and meaningful as a community, this global community even, and what sense of purpose it gave us. This Moon. It's also known as the Mother Moon. This mother moon could simply just be, you don't need to be polished coming to the dinner table. Just come as you are, be present with us, very mothering, nurturing., A warm hug. An allowance. The mother moon and it's in the sign of cancer. I only offer this because I truly believe in animal medicine and the sign of cancer is represented by the crab. So we have wolf medicine and crab medicine all within the full super moon. More on that as we go along. But think about the crab. Very hard, outer shell, shiny, smooth, polished, protection. You even have claws as extension of the shell sharp, longevity, food, nourishment. And then think about the inside of the crab underneath the shell. It's soft. Perhaps even formless at times. Intuitive inner wisdom. True North Cancer teaches us that safety. Nourishment and belonging are not luxury, so I'll say that again. Safety, nourishment and belonging are not luxuries. They are the foundation upon which everything else grows. It's like maslow's hierarchy, of Needs, and the base foundation is home, shelter, safety, food, water, everything builds upon the foundation. When the foundation is shaky, it's hard to rise. Some of the modern pressures that we're facing almost encourages us to skip that bottom foundational layer of the pyramid. It's also rest and sleep. So under this bright super moon. Perhaps deep emotions. Deep wounds can be surfacing. Now they can be illuminated even if we don't want them to, but it's not to punish us or criticize us, but it's really an opportunity to tend to these parts of us that's been ignored. So it's not, how do I get through this? What needs protection right now? Energy, time, children, self body home. The crab is really offering us an opportunity to balance the hard shell going through life, doing all the things, but balancing that with the inner soft intuition, rest, self care, daydreaming. Motherhood is big for me. I'm a mother of four 10, and under the weight of the decisions. In which a mother must make, can feel very heavy. Are they going to the right school? Are they with and have the opportunity to make friendships, positive peers, role models, mentors, nutrition? Are we getting them the proper nutrition? Do I have them with the best doctor possible? Does my child have autism? Do I have autism? Is my parenting style okay? What am I doing wrong? Like the weight can be super heavy. I, and I definitely don't have it figured out, but I'm showing up. I am tending to the parts of me that need to be tended to, to thrive, to grow. I'm tending to the soft parts to become fertile for receiving what's in my best and highest good. And this tending to the soft parts, being a part of community can all be part of a renewal. A renewal on your outlook of life, a renewal on your baseline of life. Maybe we're going to get the best sleep of our life. We're gonna be stronger than we've ever been before this. Fertility is a readiness for these opportunities. It's not output. The foundation layer is not output. It's the womb space of listening, deeply listening. It's not producing the ojas and Ayurveda. There are something. That can be built upon through rest and nourishment, which is totally fascinating to me. I would love to learn more about Ayurveda, and if any of you listening are experts or can help answer my question about this, but from what I understand, we are born with seven ojas, and as you go through life experiences ojas can be depleted and die. Leave us, leave the body and as soon as all seven of them are done, so is life on earth as you currently know it. And this idea of being able to build our OES back through rest and nourishment is so revitalizing to me. Nothing healthy grows in frantic soil. So what's the opposite of frantic? Soft, restful full of minerals and vitamins, vegetables, warm foods, baths. Warm socks. I'm in the Northern hemisphere, so it's definitely winter right now, but this renewal, this moving from the base of a pyramid upwards is gonna come from a softening first, like the inside of a crabs. Wolf medicine, we're not meant to do this alone. Crab medicine, we're meant to know ourselves and our limits. Our community, our wolf community begins in the home. It begins in the inner softness of the shell, and that home begins with our nervous system. Most of us are overstimulated and undernourished. Dopamine is cheap right now. Ai, social media, phones in our pocket. Screens on the wall, screens in the car. The sounds that are emitting from our phones into our home space, the EMFs. This is the truth right now. Maslow understood that we don't self-actualize on an empty nervous system. Warm food, early nights, fewer decisions. These things aren't practices, you guys. They are conditions humans have always needed as a foundation, as a baseline to survive. I'm going to offer a release by. Imagining a cloth soaked with old emotion, what emotion is it? Name it. Wring it out. No judgment, no story. Just name it and move on. This doesn't need to be hard nor complicated. In fact, the opposite. It needs to be gentle. It needs to be warm. Full of grace, easy. Of course, we don't need answers right now, even though our ego wants to problem solve and figure out all the answers. It's more of getting out of your ego and coming into your heart and embellishing your heart space. What does your heart space look like? I love the practice of decorating my heart space. Giant chandeliers, path, water, deer whatever, come to that space and be held by our community, the greater community. Maybe it's a spiritual community, maybe it's a trust in. Higher forces that are surrounding you, supporting you, carrying you, holding your hand. May you feel so foundationally full that you may go. Be you with grace and ease. If something in today's conversation stirred you, if it named and struck a place, or made you realize your home isn't really supporting you right now, I want you to know there's a place to work with that. I'm a Feng Shui consultant and my work is about creating safety, flow and vitality in the spaces we actually live our lives in, not perfection, not trends. Just practical time tested and science backed wisdom that helps your nervous system settle and your life move forward Again, together we can look at your home as it is right now and make the practical, meaningful adjustments that support stability, nourishment, and momentum. If you're ready for clarity and grounded next steps, you can work with me through a one-on-one feng shui consultation. I will help you understand what your space is asking for and how to make simple shifts that support where you are now and where you're going. Take your time when you're ready, the door is open and can email me at Dorsey Beckman, DOR. SEYB as in boy, E-C-K-M-A-N, at gmail.com, or find me on Instagram at Girl Nature Living. I can't wait to hear from all of you.
