This week on 808’s & Convo, Emo G & JUSTCALLMETEMP return with another packed episode full of MAJOR music releases, industry headlines and culture talk you don’t want to miss.

First up, the 6 God, Drake shocks the music world by dropping not one, not two but THREE albums simultaneously: “Iceman”, “Maid Of Honour” and “Habibti.” The duo dive deep into first reactions, album reviews, favorite tracks, standout production and whether all three projects were necessary. Did Drake just pull off one of the boldest releases in hip-hop history or did quantity hurt the quality? Plus, which songs instantly made the playlist and what records probably should’ve stayed in the vault?

Then, the legacy of the King of Pop reaches another unbelievable milestone as Michael Jackson officially claims the #1 movie in the world with “Michael” surpassing $700 million globally. On top of that, the legendary “Billie Jean” becomes the oldest song ever to hit #1 globally again in Billboard Global 200, proving MJ’s influence may truly never be touched. The duo discuss what makes Michael Jackson’s impact so timeless and whether any artist today could ever replicate that level of worldwide dominance.

And finally, international superstar Shakira scores a major legal victory after winning her lawsuit against Spain tax authorities over claims she was overtaxed as a Spaniard citizen. The conversation expands into celebrity finances, governments targeting high-profile entertainers and why wealthy artists so often find themselves battling tax controversies.

Music debates, honest takes, laughs and unfiltered conversation—this is 808’s & Convo.

SPEAKER_04

Mic check, mic check.

SPEAKER_00

A it's he mo G, baby.

SPEAKER_04

I don't know why I sound like a well a Texas rapper.

SPEAKER_08

You sound like an old hat. I swear it don't it don't. You sound like an old head who's trying to get play. Yeah, with your girl check, girl check, girl check. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Nah, I feel like this shit got deeper, man. What's going on?

SPEAKER_08

It did. What the fuck going on?

SPEAKER_04

Everything sounds like it got deeper. I don't know, man.

SPEAKER_08

That could be a thing. I don't even know. The quality, unless something's changed on the thingy.

SPEAKER_00

That sounds like a whole G, baby.

SPEAKER_08

That should sound like crazy.

SPEAKER_04

Nah, that's not how it sounds like.

SPEAKER_08

No, no. Interesting, folks.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I am, I am, I am. You gotta drink it. You gotta drink it.

SPEAKER_05

That's very true.

SPEAKER_04

Yo, this fucking rain. Yo, it's supposed to rain for the next few days, don't we?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, that kind of got me upset because I wanna be in my pool.

SPEAKER_04

I wanna be in my motherfucking pool. You go home tomorrow, you can't even enjoy that shit by yourself. God damn. Yeah. God damn.

SPEAKER_08

Alright, man. Oh, wait. Detroit built an electrified road where coils hidden under the pavement can wirely wirelessly charge EVs. While driving? Yeah. They they got a name. How they get that? And they like one of the poorest states. Or cities.

SPEAKER_04

Which city? Detroit. Oh yeah, Detroit definitely.

SPEAKER_07

So how the fuck they got that?

SPEAKER_04

Detroit fucked up.

SPEAKER_07

Again, how the fuck they got that? We don't got that yet. I don't know. Detroit fucked up.

SPEAKER_04

I'm pretty sure Michigan is fucked up. Flint still got the water problem? I don't know. Probably. I think they do. It's been fucking years. Years. Flint still got the water problems.

SPEAKER_08

Year on. For real.

SPEAKER_04

Flint still got the water problems. For real Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Oh. Sorry, he carried that note out. He did his dang. Oh, yeah, that show with Lauren Hill, her talking about her her absence and all of that why she hasn't dropped me too.

SPEAKER_04

You know what I I I got from that though? I read that whole little statement she put out as to why she ain't never put out another album. And what you think? I just think it's it's so much time went on that uh she don't have the right writers. So she don't want to make like she don't want to make herself like a fucking fool. I think the writers from that time ain't you know motherfuckers that moved on and probably dead and gone. Also felt like she got blackballed. She got blackballed for one reason. I don't know, yeah. I think they did she go through some shit with Wycliffe and Prize. She did go through some shit with them.

SPEAKER_08

We gotta uncover that one day.

SPEAKER_04

One day just not two days.

SPEAKER_03

Today's Drizzy day.

SPEAKER_04

Mmm.

SPEAKER_07

Champagne poppy.

SPEAKER_08

Mmm. Drizzy. Right here, right there. Right there, right here. Oh yeah. This about to be a good one. I love a birdie toad. You get a body boss thing, nigga. What?

SPEAKER_03

I can't wait to get something. All right, let me let me get into this set real quick.

SPEAKER_06

Let's hear it. I was running through the six with my woes.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I was running through the six with my wheels. You know how that should go. You know how that should go. You know how that should go. Running, do the six with my wheels. You know how that should go. You know how that should go. You know how that should go. Don't fuck with them niggas. I'm so international. I might declare it. Yeah, but you know how that shit go. They don't want to catch it up. They wanna match it up. My nigga jibber he women. I'm right in the past in your stay up a two up of three of my ass and get back in your book. I'm turning into a nigga that thinks about money and women like 24-7. That's what my life took me that shit. That shit happened to dump. And you know, it do the never had a lot, this is all I need. People never care until it's all I pay. Niggas turn their back on me for no good reason. Loyalty is priceless, and it's all I need. Can't burn a bridge, just to light my way. Lot of 42 on the flights I'm taking. Pouring out my soul and it might sound crazy. Lotta fallen else, help me build foundation. Never had a lot, this is all I need. People never care till it's all I pick. Niggas turn their back on me for no good reason. Never had a lot, this is all I need. Lost individuals is all I see. Gravitate spot, like part of my reach. Woke up one day and it was all on me. If it comes down, it's gon' fall on me. Lot of 42 on the flights I'm taking. Long way down from the heights I'm chasing. Just touch down, I was lazy out of Vegas. Girls checking in, cause my life's not dangerous. Hard to tell people that I'm all out of favors. Call me for songs or they call me for paper. Turning off my phone for the night, nah, baby. Pouring out my soul and it might sound crazy. Some of my niggas don't love me. We should sit down before the shit turns ugly. We should sit down since you said things about me. Never had a lot of this, it's all I need. People never care till it's all I need. Niggas start you back on this, no good. Um, I've been up for four days, making money both ways, dirty and clean. I could use a glass to cold spades, Rolex and choke birds and no fades. I keep thinking how young can you die from old age. They always tell me nobody's working as hard as you. And even though I laugh at all, man, it's probably true. Cause while all of my closest friends out party it, I'm just here making all the music that they bought it to. I got these new rappers nervous from night, nigga. I grow tired of these fucking grown man liars. Storytelling. I just wanna tell the truth. Before one of these tape is loaded a couple thousand shoes. This shit feels like my fresh road star. What's the start step box? Yeah, and I'm a motherfuckin' bitch target, but a target nonetheless, and I just started. Was that correct? And why can't be? They must be talking to themselves. Yeah, and I'm just filling up this daily planner. Getting busy, cause I'm a star, no stable banner. Just the tools, get tough and they make music. And I can say I wrote it for your girlfriend's cultural grammar. Yeah, that's the life of clubs when you're doing you. Welcome to Hollywood, don't let this town ruin you. If you pull up talking with the women that are screwing you, just know that she gon' tell another nigga what she do with you. Don't get a picture, take by the wrong. Trick it all, even when it tastes too strong. Yeah, I gotta feel alive, even if it kills me. Promise I always give you me the real me. What a thought, I be caught in this life. Let's celebrate.

SPEAKER_04

It's my shit, yo. It's my shit.

unknown

So I'm gonna open the eight.

SPEAKER_08

Wait until the sun goes down. We gon' make this bitch light up. Even when the sun goes off every part right here.

SPEAKER_01

Ow. Hold so they're just like ow. Ow. Triple on time, but don't even ask me how. Connected to floor, make it to a high power. Bright lights to make your whole city light up. But show your wide light bug when I'm in the nightclub. I just ran it in that G450 with the payback the fake. Cause the satellite was crispy. Uh y'all can miss me with the money talk. The smart buddies don't hold up with the dummies talk. Uh I don't do too much vlogging. I don't run a town, I don't do too much jogging. Uh I ain't got a style yet. This fucking rabble me and my dog is far fetched. Great, kids, I done gonna come back to you. But still he wrap you, try to distract you. Him in the guys, yeah, nigga. Watch for the traders. Uh I done seen it all, done it all. That's why I know these dumb dumps could done them all. The winners do, stop down in the winner, that's what winners do. It's good, niggas I'm like window seven. You let them know they square, they finish you. Go on punish. I'm not as cool with niggas as I once was. I once was, cool as the monster. With these right like the turn into a monster Sorry, mama, I promise to call the baby boss and make this tape. Fuck niggas, bitch too. All I got is this money, bitch to do.

SPEAKER_08

I'll be cup.

SPEAKER_06

Don't lick me, don't lick me when you hit it. Tell me your favorite song. Don't tell me how you told me to be like this all alone. I know the truth is you won't love me until I'm gone. And even anything that comes after moving on. I can't even capture the feeling I had at first. Uh-huh. Eating all my heroes like me, and I've made it worse. The people I looked up to are gone from bad to worse. I never heard I stayed with that. I gotta bring my brothers up, I feel out of place. Breaking speed records on roads that these niggas pay. And they don't like that, it's written all on their face. I don't know how to make it out of here clean. Anybody track of what is with the other team? Iconic duos, ripping, split at the scenes. Good-hearted people are taking it to extremes. Leaving me a limbo to question what I believe. Leaving me to ask what's their motive and making peace. Leaving me to not trust anybody I meet. Leaving me to ask, is there anybody like me? Missing out on my years. There's times when I wish I was where I was. When I used to wish I was here, missing out on my days, scrolling through life and fishing for praise. Opinions from total strangers, take me out of my ways. I try things there on the other end of the shade. Most times it's just somebody that's underage. That's probably just alone and afraid. And latching out so that someone else can feel their pain. Always hear people complain about the place that they live. But all the people here faking they got nothing to give. Cause they've been staring at somebody else. That makes another city seem tighter than it is. I know a girl whose one goal was to visit world.

SPEAKER_08

Mm-mm.

SPEAKER_04

I wasn't hot in the world from the hotel for my kid. I loved it. Shout out to the six dogs, shout out to Iceman, shout out to Drizzy Motherfucking.

SPEAKER_08

Shout out to motherfucking him.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yes, yes, yes, yes. Welcome back to another episode. So that bound. Welcome back to another episode, another installment of 808 and Convo. I'm your man Emo G. Y'all here with your girl Temp. And this is episode 29, man. Mminthine Women. One way. One-a-way shot from the uh mesh. And the season finale, man. Oh. Oh, Lord of Mercy.

SPEAKER_08

Lord of mercy. Driver.

SPEAKER_04

Wow.

SPEAKER_08

Don't stop my time.

SPEAKER_04

Sis, what's going on with you, man?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, I'm good, bro. What's going on with you? It's fucking hot. Yes, it's been hot. Hottest day. She came out of nowhere, bruh. First time and over time.

SPEAKER_04

Dying in this train, I ain't gonna lie.

SPEAKER_07

It ain't even June yet. Like, what's more?

SPEAKER_04

Like, it's the middle of May. Like, what the fuck is going on?

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, this weather's disrespectful.

SPEAKER_04

Disrespectful. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's going on? Everything good? Everything's great. Everything's great.

SPEAKER_08

You said it was productive. Good is good.

SPEAKER_04

Listen, speaking of speaking of the boy. Forget all that.

SPEAKER_07

Forget all of your Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Forget all of that, man. Oh my God.

SPEAKER_08

He he's jumping straight into it. No, no, I won't jump into it, but like. Maybe you would have, you know, y'all would have I'm excited, bro.

SPEAKER_04

I'm excited. Because I I feel like we ain't we ain't special to me. Yeah. We we even talked like since the album, since the albums came out. We've been just sitting, so I'm just excited to hear your take on it. All three, I should say, not just it.

SPEAKER_08

Well, first of all, before we even get into all of that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I want to just jump into it.

SPEAKER_07

Nah, so me and bro was talking the other day, and the very brief light discussion that we had, because I think it was all the full of five.

SPEAKER_04

And for this specific episode, we even drink a prosecco tonight. It's tequila. Yeah. The boy, the boy's special. The boy loves the tequila. Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

I mean, I ain't gonna lie, the bubbly he loved too, because he drank a good old spritz, which I had last night.

SPEAKER_04

He does a peach bellini, which includes that bellini.

SPEAKER_08

Tequila! Yeah, that bellini's nice.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Matter of fact, I gotta get one of them shark joints to make the uh the frose situations or whatever it is. I w I wanna start making them peach bellies.

SPEAKER_08

They got some pre-made palomas, all types of shit.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, get out of here, worried. Yeah, you still just throw that in some ice or whatever.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, just throw it over some ice and you go. You ain't gotta do nothing. Just shake the shit.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, that sounds great. That's it. But what you was gonna say, I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_08

I just like shit. Nah, you're good. But um, no, so the other day we briefly had we had a brief discussion. Literally like maybe 10 minutes, no lie. And I told bro, I I think I was at work, that's why.

SPEAKER_07

I told him, I said, yo, I was gonna go to bed.

SPEAKER_08

I did go to bed. I did go to bed. But I played it smart. I played it smart. By the time I was already in my house, well, I was in my father-in-law's house at the time, but anyway, that's besides the point. By the time I got to my bed in his apartment, it was 1150. I said I might as well stay up, even though I knew I was gonna cause because initially I was gonna take a nap. I had no intention of getting home at the time that I got home. Like I was grown, you know what I'm saying? I was outside with the messrs, you know what I'm saying? And and and and the people, not the family, you know. So like when I got home at the time that I did, you know, like I I ended up was like, you know what, like fuck it, no nap.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

But you gonna stay up for this shit. Like and and I already saw the rumors, like, and it wasn't even rumors, it was the actual fact, right? That they leaked it, and they said, well, I mean, we did see it when we was recording our last episode, yeah. And that, you know, that they were speculating that there was gonna be three albums. Three albums, yeah, you know, or anticipating. So the fact that I saw that, I was like, and then I saw there was a there was a leak, I think it was High 97 or some shit. High 97 dropped some shit. They were like, oh, we're expecting three albums. And I started laughing because I was like, yo, I was like, so is the whole entire project thing called Iceman? But then all the numbers and everything started making sense. Like, from like everything that we like followed throughout this journey, like with him dropping little jewels and shit, like I'm like, it's all making sense. Like, but we're gonna get into that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_08

But anywho, I downloaded the first app so apparently Spotify crashed.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, Spotify ain't Apple Music.

SPEAKER_08

So then I told bro, I was like, yo, I think Apple crashed too, because I was on that shit at 11.59, dude, and not even eight. Do you hear me, fam? Like, I was I was on it and I was just like, let me just keep re- I was refreshing it, refreshing it, refreshing it. It was like 12.02, boom. First album I was able to to download on my phone was made of honor. Fire. Like fire. Then like I think it was like maybe 12.07, I was able to, or some shit like that, download Iceman. Boom. Once Iceman was downloaded, I was like, that means that uh whatchamacallit, that Habibi is cause is gonna be next. So then I was like So I I you know obviously clicked out of thing. Made of honor was still playing in the background. Then I saw in that order, boom, downloaded Habibi. And then it was over. And I say Habibi because I'm from New York. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, we all say Habibi. If y'all, if y'all, if if y'all know, y'all know. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_04

I don't know who the fuck or what the fuck a Habib T is.

SPEAKER_08

No, but that's how you that's how you that's you know what I'm saying? That's actually how you say it. That's how you say it. That's the correct way of saying the term, you know, T is silent pronunciation of the term. But from the s we we from the town, you know what I'm saying? Like we the socks, yeah. The T is silent all the way off the rip. But anyway, but yeah, I just felt like it was necessary to you know bring it up to speed because just like myself, bro was on it. He was like, I'm listening to Iceman first, and I'm like, oh I got made of honor over here, brother man. You know what I'm saying? So we I ain't gonna lie, we in the group chat just chopping it up.

SPEAKER_04

I gotta admit, I gotta, I gotta admit, you was listening to those albums before I was. Let me let me tell you my night led up to I I got off of work. Yeah, I got home, I ordered me some Chinese food, some good Chinese food, you know what I'm saying? I ordered me some motherfucking some some some wings chopped up, fried real nice. You know what I'm saying? I had some shrimp fried rice and all that. And this is around like 10 o'clock or whatever. So I I had watched the movie, trying to keep myself up. I think I was watching the sp the Punisher special, the the the the one last kill shit on Disney Plus. So shout out to them. We're not getting no money from Disney Plus, but go ahead and watch that. Uh but anyway. Yeah, so yeah. And then uh I try to wake up because the shit was only 40 minutes, so that means like the shit ended around 11 o'clock. Try to still podcast a little bit. I ended up passing the fuck out. Passed out. I woke up at exactly 1229. 1229, the first thing I seen was Iceman. I downloaded that shit, and then that's when I hit you up and I started listening to it. And I did not go back to sleep. I had to be at work the following fucking day. I had to be at work. But that was my night letting up lead uh leading up to the release of whatever the albums. And I at first, I'm not gonna lie, when you initially first heard the news of three albums being dropped, I didn't believe it because you know all this AI shit going on and whatever, and everybody just making up narratives and shit online, whatever. I didn't believe it. I just thought it was gonna be like a three-part disc situation or whatever, or double discs, which we originally thought. I didn't know it was gonna be three whole albums. And I was surprised and shocked as this. Well, we'll get into that when we fucking start talking about the shit or whatever.

SPEAKER_08

But well shit. I got through Maid of Honor and then started Iceman, and after the third track, I think that's when I had five.

SPEAKER_04

You know what I'm saying? But um Yeah, but whatever. Right, let's get into it, man. Let's talk about it. Fuck it. So obviously, Drake surprisingly drops three albums Iceman, Maid of Honor, and Habipty. I just wanna get like what was our reviews, our favorite tracks, what could have been left off on all three projects, uh, you know, the the speculation on the internet, like who's divided, Kendrick haters still hating, whatever after after just one listen, they still hating. I wanna I wanna talk about it 24.

SPEAKER_08

Hours of three albums for the five years.

SPEAKER_04

The reviews after 24 hours. Like I feel like when artists is like, well, any artist for that matter, but I feel like an artist of that magnitude, like Drake, you gotta let that shit sit and bear that. You gotta dissect it.

SPEAKER_08

It's a lot. Yeah. It's a lot. This shit ain't no one-stop shop.

SPEAKER_04

Like especially him pinning out three albums this time. Like that shit is insane, bro, at the same time.

SPEAKER_08

To appease everybody and also to obviously get out of that fucking deal. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I was genuinely shocked when I seen he posted that there was gonna be three albums, but I was a bit. I ain't gonna lie, I was a bit overwhelmed. I was a bit overwhelmed. Like once I fully woke up the next day or whatever, I was a bit overwhelmed because I really like to just sit with a Drake album. And I like to sit with a Drake album for weeks.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And dissect it. But to do three was like fucking insane.

SPEAKER_08

So I think what was most important was dissecting Iceman.

SPEAKER_04

Iceman, yes.

SPEAKER_08

Everything else was like, ah, it's just a it's just a bop.

SPEAKER_04

You know, like everything else we weren't supposed to hear until like next year and probably the year after that.

SPEAKER_08

I say the summer. Yeah. Like maybe the like mid-July or some shit.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

You know?

SPEAKER_04

I don't know how it would have felt if he didn't release Iceman that week and then released two albums in the summertime, but because I still would have been listening to Iceman by the summertime.

SPEAKER_08

I think everybody would have still been listening to Iceman, yeah. There's a couple of bops on there that wouldn't be blasting when they call it.

SPEAKER_04

I do I do love it, I do enjoy it.

SPEAKER_08

Um tell me all about it.

SPEAKER_04

You got uh don't ask me, what's yours?

SPEAKER_08

Okay, you're always telling me to go first.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, because I'm I like you to set it up because you freestyle everything. So you wanna alright, whatever. I gave my honest review.

SPEAKER_08

I do.

SPEAKER_04

My honest review on Iceman specifically. Yes. I feel like the music was done in a very in a very uh as of lately Aubrey fashion. And it's a nice and well-balanced album for the core fans and for the younger listeners. I could definitely say that. Like, like, like I feel like his last few projects was just more catered to the new listeners right now, like the younger listeners right now. But this album, for some reason, it catered to core fans, niggas that be listening to him since like So Far Gone, and the new generation of listeners. And I think honestly, that's possibly the best we'll get out of him at at you know in this in this day and age. It's it's it's what I was asking for for us to give us, you know, that classic Drake feel, but still keep your music culturally and and and like timely relevant, you know what I mean? Like like you still want to appease to like this generation in this day and age or whatever, but you I I still want him to sound like you know, Drake from the past or whatever. But I do love it, it was a bit more introspective, like way more introspection than anything in this past few albums. I it was a bit more mature, it was a bit more lyrical, more aggressive, it was more believable in tone. I did hear him be more expressive, way more expressive, like emotionally, especially with like him talking about his dad, like having cancer and shit. Yeah, and shout out to Dennis, yeah. Shout out to Dennis Graham, DG, him being diagnosed with cancer and revealing. That was a big moment though. I'm not gonna lie, like I didn't expect him to get that like personal. Like, I feel like the last time he got that personal was the March 17th song, March 14th song, whatever.

SPEAKER_08

Like March 13th when it came to um the song we talking about his son being.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah. And uh the main thing I did notice in this fucking in this fucking nice man album was that you can hear how broken he was, like after the whole 20v1 shit. Like, yeah, because he was he was just more relentless.

SPEAKER_08

You could tell like he was in his head.

SPEAKER_04

He was definitely in his head, he definitely was with this project, and he was more relentless in in most of the songs towards like whoever the fuck was involved in that whole situation. And yeah, you can you can hear that shit, like you definitely can hear that shit. I I definitely did enjoy that because like he he well Drake was always gonna stick up for him fucking so, but look at this motherfucker just sucking on rocks and shit. Oh, Percy.

SPEAKER_08

Oh, Percy.

SPEAKER_04

If Maddox was here, he corrected the show. I probably would have said Percy. I'd be forgetting. No, Percy fit.

SPEAKER_08

Well, he named it Thomas first, and now he went on switched off to Percy. Like fucking Percy.

SPEAKER_04

Maddox don't realize how much of an asshole he is. I ain't gonna lie. No, he does.

SPEAKER_08

He does. Don't don't don't know.

SPEAKER_04

He probably does. He does. He's only three years old. He knows he's an asshole. What are you what's your take on it so far?

SPEAKER_08

No, I think it was it was all three of all so let me get this straight. No, no, no. I got it straight. I need everybody else to get it straight. I need y'all to stop saying just Iceman.

SPEAKER_04

Put some respect on Robert Twam's name.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, it's him that we're talking about. The boy. No, but on a serious note, my take on this, on these three projects.

SPEAKER_04

Well, just just Iceman.

SPEAKER_08

Well, if you want me to go to Iceman. Well, no, I was just gonna say, like, in a general sense. I'm not like dissecting just yet. Okay. What I mean by what I stated previously was more or less like people have to be more appreciative of the fact that we even got three different genres or categories.

SPEAKER_04

That's a good point. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_08

Like he he did not remain stagnant. I'm tired of the bullshit with the whole, oh, he steals everybody's flows. Oh, then he tries to turn it into we all know what Drake does. He fit he he studies it, he masters it, he executes it. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? So, like, for anybody to act like this is something new, yeah, you know, like I think that you guys should just all go fuck off and just keep it pushing because this is what it is, but also it was more on a personal level, especially with Iceman. You know, he got more personable on this shit. He like you stated, it was more emotional. You could tell that this shit fucked him up, it fucked with his head. He also had to sit there and re-evaluate things and say, hey, who's really here for me other than my brothers? Right, you know what I'm saying? And I'm talking about anybody who was OVO or you know, that comes from the six. Like, if you not in his team and you were somebody that just branched off, now he gotta sit there and be like, hold up, my back is against the wall, because I don't know if I could even trust you. And even his own man's his man's that sold his chain. He's like, yo, like I could never forgive you for that. Like, what type of shit is that? Who who like you couldn't come to me and tell me you was going through something?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you was bro, you need a couple of dollars, something like I'm the fucking richest rapper in the world, my nigga. I can hold you down.

SPEAKER_08

Like, and and I get it, nobody wants a handout, but at the same time, it's just more or less like if you know that we're here, this is a village, you know what I'm saying? And I think that I I feel my own perspective and how I perceive the situation, I think that Drake feels like everybody dug a knife in his back, right? And now he's just by himself. Even the label, the label trying to fuck him over for years, and which they did for years, but he always prevailed, you know what I'm saying? I feel like he always managed to make comebacks. Yeah, he never, he never fools, yeah, and he did the right thing, and he spoke that shit. I ain't gonna lie. If it's up to me, if it's up to me.

SPEAKER_04

Hey, yeah, but it was great.

SPEAKER_08

Iceman was great.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, going back to which one, which one, which one? What was the one that you said you said some shit about? What oh my god, about him taking other people's like styles and or whatever the fuck it is. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_08

That's just him conforming to what the fuck the sound is.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like every rapper in history does that. Does that's the only way to stay relevant, relevant. You know what I'm saying? Like you have to get in line adapt to the times, you know what I'm saying? Like you didn't want to keep sound like a hip, a hop, a hibit, ahibit to the hip, hip hop. You don't stay in the house. Two, three episodes away. Right. Because if niggas want to keep staying to that, like I'm promise you, you're not gonna the only people who was around for that time, those only people that just want to keep listening to that type of shit. Yeah, you're not gonna be able to gain the people that's from the year after that and the year after that. I mean, you know what I'm saying? Like, I am going to fucking kill you, Astron.

SPEAKER_08

No, you're not gonna.

SPEAKER_04

I swear, this is like the third episode in a row. You're gonna leave him alone. I threaten this fucking cat.

SPEAKER_08

You're gonna leave him alone. Animal abuse. I didn't I didn't do nothing yet to this nigga, man. You don't have to.

SPEAKER_04

Verbal abuse is a thing, you know. Alright, don't get me started. Well, what what are these people? A S P C A. Nothing happened to this cat.

SPEAKER_05

Shut up.

SPEAKER_04

Just yet.

SPEAKER_05

Anyway.

SPEAKER_04

Anyway. I got a few favorites on Iceman though. Let's hear it. All four of the make them joints. I'm talking about make make them cry, make them pay, make them remember, make them know. I love all four of them shits. My favorite song on it is Burning Bridges. That's the ASAP Rocky Disc. You said somebody else. That's my shit. What? You said it was somebody else too that was getting pissed on that bitch, man. The weekend. The weekend. National Treasure, I fuck with. Janice shut the fuck up. I fuck with. I love plot twists. I love whisper my name. It was a bunch of other shit on here, but you know, etc. I don't want to go down the fucking road. Ones I could have done without with, honestly, I know you like this song.

SPEAKER_08

What little birdie?

SPEAKER_04

Nah, shebang.

SPEAKER_08

Sh no, I you I could have dealt without shebang. No, no, no, no. I think you need to listen to it again. You need to listen to it again.

SPEAKER_04

I've been listening to it for a week, nigga. I I it's the I think it's the cadence. The cadence, I'm not fucking with this, with that. I can't fuck with it.

SPEAKER_08

And give it a and give it a Drake Migo feel, though.

SPEAKER_04

Like it makes you feel like that's what's that's I think that's what's fucking me up. I don't really listen to a lot of Migos either, my nigga.

SPEAKER_08

But it makes you feel like takeoff is there.

SPEAKER_04

Like, oh, yeah, here's a is that Quavo doing the ad libs? Nah. When you get when you think it's ad libs from that's takeoff. You think oh you just took it off or whatever. Oh, that's fine. Yeah. And I'm trying to let Runner Atlanta grow on me, but I'm not really accepting that. Oh, yeah, we don't care if that relationship being mended that easily. Like, I'm not I'm not fucking with that. So therefore, my brain is like rejecting that song. I can't like that song.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, I felt you heavy on that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, like everybody liked that run of Atlanta and shit because they was looking forward to the Drake in future, you know, being collaborative again or whatever. I'm it's something so deep with that, I don't it don't sit well with me. Like, I don't I don't really fuck with that collaboration at all.

SPEAKER_08

In other words, what he's saying is just that we all think that it's a facade. It's a facade, it's a money grab, it's a money grab. That's exactly what it is. Because if they know better, they'll do better, right? In the sense of, yo, the people, the people enjoy us as a collab, as a duo. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_04

So like I think they both were very well aware of that. Yeah, like we're not gonna fuck that bag up. You can't fuck that bag up. No, because every like Drake is shitting on everybody else.

SPEAKER_08

If he's going, if he's going independent, he definitely gotta keep that. Yo, listen.

SPEAKER_04

Future for people, I know he didn't say anything per se in it in that whole beef or whatever, yeah, but you helped contribute to it by allowing niggas a space to fucking get they shit off on you, whatever. On two albums at that. We never liked you, yeah. Come on, bro. The album titles It says a lot. Says a lot, says a lot, and them albums weren't just future albums, they were future and metro booming. So I'm pretty sure that would that that Metro had more input in that. Yeah, for sure. And future kind of allowed that. That's like I don't know, man. Like that's like you, that's like you watching getting jumped to some shit like that.

SPEAKER_08

It's the principle. It's the principle, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

It is, you know what I'm saying? Like, and I don't fuck with it for on for Drake's behalf. I don't know. I I can see why he's fucking with it because it's definitely a good opportunity for money, but I'm not fucking with that. So I I can't. And then he, I don't give a fuck. How hard do Drake and Future collaboration sound from this point going forward? I'm not fucking with it. Yeah, I'm not fucking with it. Like, I feel like future deserved a bullet too. That sounds so dark.

SPEAKER_08

You know, you know, and uh now that you say that, it kind of makes me wonder and think back to Wait for You, like how that song, like how Drake sounded his energy on that song.

SPEAKER_04

His energy, I was listening to that shit earlier and I'm like, yo, you know what? I don't think his heart was really in this fucking uh collaboration either. Like it was in whatchamacallit, yeah. And that was a big record. That was a big record. That was a huge record, Paul. Yeah, yeah. That was a huge record. Yeah. Maid of Honor. No, no, wait, what is your favorite song, Iceman?

SPEAKER_08

Or from Iceman?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, Iceman. What you got?

SPEAKER_08

Well, I'll go in order, top to bottom. Alright. Make them cry. That's my favorite. Yeah. Number one.

SPEAKER_04

Of course.

SPEAKER_08

Dust is starting to grow on me a little bit. Yeah, I love dust.

SPEAKER_04

I'm starting to, I'm starting to get shit. That shit, my shit.

SPEAKER_08

I'm starting to, I'm starting to, you know what I'm saying? Bob to it in the car. Whisper whisper my name.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

You gotta whisper my name. Yeah. Yeah, I like how it drops like towards the end. And then he's like, Whisper my name. What he said. Ah. Whisper my name when you know you gotta come here.

SPEAKER_05

Whisper my name when you know when the same.

SPEAKER_08

Hold on. He said, he said, Whisper my name and don't and don't say it too loud. You know coming in here, you know I'll pop out. Some shit like that. I said it wrong, but y'all know y'all know what I'm saying. Hey, hey. But it's not there. It's toward the end. Oh yeah. Whisper my name and don't say it too loud. Know that you come in, you know, fuck out. Mm-hmm. Alright, anyway. So I got distracted. Sorry. I get excited.

SPEAKER_06

Whisper my name and don't say it too loud.

SPEAKER_08

You gotta come here and you know I pop out.

SPEAKER_06

We turn the Coachella head boys backing down, and we might do the same if we touch on the loud. If you my nigga, then say my nigga. What's up, my critical me right now? Come on to me and get one of them out.

SPEAKER_08

You gotta whisper my name. That's that shit right there.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I like that shit.

SPEAKER_08

Janice, shut the fuck up. Of course. That's your shit. Janice. Love that shit.

SPEAKER_04

Janice, Janice.

SPEAKER_08

Janice, shut the fuck up. Janice was that was my favorite song out of the entire album.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

If y'all know me, then y'all understand why. And I'm speaking in terms of like my my sense of humor, my personality, and just you know, my overall well, like way of being. I'm just a jokester. Anyway, so shebang, of course, make them pay, burning bridges, national treasures is like number two on my list. Well, three, because it's really it goes from Janice, shut the fuck up, make them cry, and then national treasures.

SPEAKER_04

I do like the original version of National Treasures.

SPEAKER_08

Of National Treasures.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, like the the OG uh version of it. I do I do like it now, but like you could tell something is a little bit different from uh the final version from the uh original version. What the fuck? I gotta fly on my kneecap.

SPEAKER_08

I'm fucking crying now. He came over here. And then bees on the table. I wasn't really I don't really care for it. And I think we all know why. Me and Bro had a conversation. You know, in regard to that.

SPEAKER_04

Yesterday we did, yeah, like I hate there was like 21. All he did was contribute to the fucking hook.

SPEAKER_08

But I but I also felt like that's all he needed to do because when again we were and 21 was and Savage was performing, he wasn't really performing, he was just sitting there walking back to the stuff.

SPEAKER_04

That was just actually why why didn't you like bees on the table?

SPEAKER_08

It was too slow for me.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Another reason why was because I expected more from 21.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that was my beef. I wanted more for 21. I wanted a verse. Yeah. I wanted a verse. I I kind of wanted a verse, I'm not gonna lie.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, because on her loss, he snapped on that whole fucking project. Yeah, he sure did. And I felt like he couldn't have done a lot more, but I also feel like I think this was his way of saying, like, yo, bro, get that shit off. You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm not trying to do too much on your shit. Like, even though we know, like, no shade, no tea to him, he's not gonna outshine Drake. But at the same time, like, I think it was more or less like of a respect thing. Like, I think that this is your space. Yeah, this is your baby. Yeah, yeah. And I think that you need to get this shit off so everybody knows exactly what it is that you feel, and you're getting your point across. Anyway, moving along. What did I miss? Obviously, plot twist is fire off the rep. Too hard for the radio is my shit. That's top five on mine. I got mixed reviews about that song. Too hard for the radio. Yeah, we'll get into that. Make them remember little birdie. Pretty much the whole fucking project. I love it's just like maybe like three to four songs that I don't really care for.

SPEAKER_04

I can I agree with that. I can agree with that. You know, but otherwise, like me, it's like four or five, but I can agree with that.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, yeah. But yeah, this is a great project. I'm still listening to it.

SPEAKER_04

Too hard for the radio. I feel like he was just being too fucking petty. He was being too petty. Like he was just trying to steal the nigga thunder from he was trying to steal the West Coast nigga thunder. I I didn't feel like he needed to do a like he didn't do, he didn't need to do anything over a West Coast sounding beat. I I get that he was just trying to school a nigga or whatever, and trying to like, oh, like I'm gonna show you who's the real hitmaker and whatnot. But just just not in that fashion, man. I I didn't feel like he needed like try to like do like a complete rip-off of whatever the fuck Kendrick did two years ago just to try to show and prove, like, oh, I'm the bigger hitmaker. Because that's what I got out of that. I just felt like yo, Drake, you should have just did what Drake do. Yeah, whatever. But I felt well, I and all I say, I kinda feel like this is what Drake does. He just take whatever it is that he that he likes from whatever sounds he hears from whatever region it's from, and then he just kind of flip it and make it his own thing. And but this one was just too like like trying to do some LA shit. I think it was just too soon, even though it was two years late, but I think it was just too soon. Like you didn't try to you didn't have to try to like recreate your own they not like us or some shit like that.

SPEAKER_08

Like I'ma show you dude little niggas. I'm gonna show you what to do, little boy.

SPEAKER_04

I I get what you're trying to do with that whole like let me show you who's a real hitmaker shit. I didn't really fuck with it too much. I did like a song, but like I didn't I didn't really fuck with it. It's not my favorite. He's tired of me. I didn't even do nothing, I ain't say nothing.

SPEAKER_08

Oh man. I'm sorry. My ADD took over. Anyway, no nigga, I'm hot. I'm hot. Oh boy, yeah. Yo, I've been on a tangent all fucking week. This is crazy. All right, anyway. Iceman. Yo, and I I have to agree. Who was it that I sent you earlier? Uh this guy's name. Oh, it was homeboy, DJ Self, Self and um and his team that was talking about on you know on their pod, like about how people didn't appreciate the projects. And also, like, they didn't understand the the bars, like a lot of people are talking trash about Iceman. Like they what like what more could you like expect from this guy?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, but you know what? I think the people that really talk shit about him is the people that don't listen to the nigga.

SPEAKER_08

Don't listen to him or just don't understand what he's talking about. And here's the thing I hate about the internet.

SPEAKER_04

You can't break those bars down. Here's the thing I hate about the internet. If you do not like the nigga, don't listen to the fucking music. It's so avoidable. You do not have to fucking formulate any opinion on a man's music. You don't have to actually have to listen to nothing. You don't have to listen to nothing. You don't have to listen to nothing. Just keep spinning the damn album or or GNX, whatever the fuck it is that you like, just keep spinning that. You ain't gotta listen, because oh, it's because y'all wanna hear what the fuck is going on. Y'all wanna y'all wanna hear this nigga, you know, if he got something to say about the little nigga in West in the West Coast or whatever. Y'all y'all wanted to hear that. But y'all want to be so quick to judge over one fuck. I fucking hate that shit. Like, like, like, listen. If I got something bad to say about Kendrick, I will be, I will, I will be fair and listen to his album a million fucking times before I even come up with an assessment or whatever. You motherfuckers be so quick to hate on this nigga who's been running the game for 15 fucking years. You know what I'm saying? Because y'all been waiting for this fucking moment. They've been waiting for this moment. You know, and I sound like a fucking conspiracy theorist right now, whatever, but like. No, but that's exactly what it is, man.

SPEAKER_08

But I feel like they've been trying to do this. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Like, it's like for the longest. And it's it's stupid as hell, though. It's no. You don't have to listen to the man. Chastising all types of shit. Let us have our moment. Like how you let this nigga Kendra had his moment two years ago. The nigga had a fucking run for two years. Super Bowl, the pop-out fucking shit, the Grammys, like, like numerous, like, like, like videos with a whole bunch of like fucking hitting messaging and subliminal messaging and the like. We let the nigga rock and nobody said nothing or whatever. Yeah, Drake fans might even be saying a little bit of things here and there, but we wasn't. Y'all Kendrick fans be super fucking aggressive. For some of y'all be one of the most quote unquote smartest motherfuckers in the world, man. I swear to God, y'all be acting so fucking dumb.

SPEAKER_08

Not that smart.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you're definitely not. But anyway. And again, and I'm a fan of Kendrick. I'm just not a bigger fan of Kendrick as I am with Drip, though. I like Kendrick shit. I don't mean wrong, but like, it ain't my preference, though. So I'm like, but I wanna sit there and shit on it. But whatever. That's that's like my argument with like that I go through every day with the Bronx and when I'm uh I live in the middle of fucking Queens or whatever. Like they don't even care. I can always say, like, yo, like I still look at y'all like you're my brothers and sisters and shit like that. Yeah, that's that's cool. We like that, but fuck the Bronx. Yeah. Alright, my nigga. Like, whatever.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, now we're getting a little personal. We're getting a little personal.

SPEAKER_04

Anyway. Talking about the town. Made of honor. I feel like that was uh that was an experimental and fun, and it was so much fun to listen to.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, well.

SPEAKER_04

I think it reminded me of um Honesty Nevermind a little bit. Yeah. Which by the way, Honesty Nevermind is a sleeper, in my opinion. It's one of my favorite projects because of his uniqueness from his category. So hearing Made of Honor, and knowing that the same nigga who produced a bunch of shit on Honestly Nevermind, he produced, I think, eight tracks on Made of Honor. So that's why it kind of felt like, you know, like kind of like nostalgic in a sense towards the uh honestly nevermind shit. I enjoyed whole phase. That's my favorite shit in there. That's the first track. QA, outside tweaking with Sun of Sandy, True Bestie with Iconic Savvy, and Amazing Shake with Popkin. It was my favorite joints on that shit. But I I do like this, I do like the made of honor joint because it's I feel like it's more experimental, it's more dance. I'm not gonna say house and all that shit, but it's more dance and experimental. It's a bunch of like shit that you shit that's kind of sound like they could be hits.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

But they didn't quite honestly made the cut. And they possibly got the opportunity too, you know what I mean, if you keep like listening to these shits or whatever. I'm pretty sure some of those songs are gonna end up in a um Billboard 100s or whatever at some point, whatever, because there's a lot of potential in that album right there. Oh, yeah, for sure. But I think everybody's looking more forward towards Iceman because that's the shit that he's promoting. Like he didn't promote a Beta Honor or a Beep T anything like that.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, but that was just again, because it was it was a deal. It was the deal breaker to get him out of the shit. Oh, yeah, we're gonna get into that too. But yeah, Whole Face was mine. I love Whole Face. I love Whole Face. And it's crazy because like I said, Beta Honor was the first album that I that I downloaded. So once I got like 20, 30 seconds in for Whole Face, I was like, Yep, yep, we start off right. We start off right and then I didn't really care for road trips. Uh yeah. Didn't really care for that. Outside tweaking was cool. I enjoyed that very much so. Cheetah Print was alright. Yeah, which one? I was saying, which one am I gonna listen to first? That's what I was saying. Which one, which one, which one? But I always hated that song, though. Nah, I didn't really like that. I fuck with Central C, so I think it's a good one.

SPEAKER_04

I like Central C, but which one I don't really fuck with like that. I never did, even when it was a single before.

SPEAKER_08

When it was a single, yeah, yeah. Amazing Shape, fire. BBW, fire. BBW is fire, yeah. BBW is fire, it is fire. True bestie, fire. Yeah. Where's your stuff? Is funny. New Bestie, of course. I'm about to say, didn't you like the other bestie song? Yeah, stuck, Goose and the Juice.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that shit is fire, bro. I ain't gonna lie. Goose and yeah, goose and juice. And Princess.

SPEAKER_08

Princess was my shit. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I had to add more than that. Like all those are actually fire, yeah. Yeah, those are fire. Those are hits. Those are hits. And he got the third album, Habib T, which felt like it was more RB vibes. I'ma assume. Didn't really care for it. Yeah, it was my least favorite of the three because I I I think it was It was just a throwaway. It was quick, yeah. It was a slow burn. Like, like the album was like 11 songs or some shit like that. But it felt like it was it, it took so long to get to the point, whatever the point was. Yeah. Like, I don't know. Like it was it was a very slow burn. But crazy take, I had the same sentiments about Take Care when I first heard Take Care saying it was a slow burn. Even when the people regarded it as his best like album ever, like there was a point I hated it.

SPEAKER_08

It sounded like Jalen Brown.

SPEAKER_04

And honestly, I think it's his magnum. Like today, honestly, I think Take Care is his Magnum Opus. Like, it's like his best album to date. It is. You know what I mean? Like, it's like the one that you like. If you had to describe Drake to me, you would send me Take Care to listen to in like this is Drake. You know what I'm saying? Like, this is that's the album, like I will have to like, yeah. That's a yeah, but um Habib T, I don't know. I'm not saying it is take care. Not at all. Not at all, but uh I did fuck with WNBA. I fuck with uh Slap the City, WNBA High Fives, Slap City's fire. It wasn't too much, it wasn't too much joints on that, though.

SPEAKER_08

So I second the first two that you said, high fives, it's it's cool. Her not there.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you keep saying this her not their shit.

SPEAKER_08

You know, like I don't really care to listen to sexy red on her own, but I like her on features. Yeah, she's a good featuring artist, like she brings like some sort of like suspense, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_04

Like some sort of cut edge, some type of sort of pizzazz to the record when she's like as a feature, yeah. Yeah, like I don't know, like I feel like you need a little dash of ratchet in your shit or whatever. You just get I don't know, sexy ratchet, but I don't know, like definitely my preference though. I'd rather listen to Glorilla all day though. Glorilla is Gorilla's a spitter. Oh yeah, for sure. Anything else?

SPEAKER_08

Not really. I think I like maybe maybe classic. Classic was okay. And white bone.

SPEAKER_04

Ah or white bone, yeah. I can add on to my shit too. Classic, I didn't really like too much either.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. Prioritizing was good too.

SPEAKER_04

Yo, didn't you say you like stuck? I forgot what stuck was. I didn't say stuck. I I ain't gonna lie, I ain't like it. Stuck was on the last album. I did not like Mate of Honor. I didn't like that shit too much. Not Stuck was fire. I know you stuck. I didn't like that shit too much, man. Yeah, say much on that. Yeah, but anyway. Yeah, I ain't got too much for Habib T man. Yeah. Made of Honor and Iceman, definitely they would they would they were fire for sure. Habib T it got, I just think three songs, four songs max that I fucked with.

SPEAKER_08

I don't know. I feel like this album is giving me the same feelings that I had about some sexy songs for you with Party Next Door or PD. I really didn't care for Search of Rescue single. And another project I really didn't care for, honestly speaking. I've said it before in the past.

SPEAKER_04

Hey, listen, whatever helped him get out of that shitty ass deal he was in, or whatever he considered was a shitty ass deal.

SPEAKER_08

More life.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, you didn't like more life too much?

SPEAKER_08

No, no, I'm saying more life and more power to you because you did the right thing, brother man.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You did the right thing by releasing three albums at once. Like, now him doing that, it didn't make no sense at the time, but I'm like, oh, he only had three albums to fucking to get out of his obligation with Universal. I'm like, yo, now that makes a lot of sense. And he didn't just give him throw, he didn't give him throwaways. Like, he actually it did sound like he put some effort into all the albums. Like, you know what I'm saying? So like even the last albums were like he didn't give a fuck about.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

It did sound like he put some effort into it. So like I'm not just giving you some mixtapey sound and shit, or I'm not giving you throwaways, I'm gonna actually give you some some uh some material.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, then that's all bad when I said throwaways.

SPEAKER_04

No, no, no.

SPEAKER_08

I mean I don't but I I can see how anybody could consider it that they're gonna yeah, like in the sense of they're gonna look at it as throwaways, right? But like at the same time, I just also feel yeah, no, I know.

SPEAKER_04

I'm just I'm I know if I pull a fan closer in his moon, you're gonna hear that shit in the mic.

SPEAKER_08

I know. I just feel like at the same token, it's just more or less like that well, that's how people are gonna perceive it, yes, right? So I gotta say it like that, because that's the only way that they're gonna understand for the silly goose in the back.

SPEAKER_04

Um yeah, yeah, the silly goose in the back.

SPEAKER_08

But he definitely majority, I I would say 99% of his energy went into Iceman. And then, you know what I'm saying? A half of that one final percent went into both each, you know? Yeah, yeah. I agree with that. That's why we only like a couple of songs per those last two.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like the one the one we should really be judging him off is Iceman, and that's pretty much it. Yeah, and he did the damn thing. Everything else was just to help him fulfill his obligations to university.

SPEAKER_08

And you said that shit too during the last episode. You said I just need at least nine of those songs. What was the number? You said between nine to what? Oh, like how long I want this like the first at least 14 tracks to be like because me and you was close in numbers.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, we was, actually. Oh shit. I forgot what we were saying. We just said this in the last episode. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, like and and and he and he did give me what I asked for too.

SPEAKER_04

He definitely did. He definitely did.

SPEAKER_08

He gave a lot of people what they asked for.

SPEAKER_04

I said, I want to see what's going on. And niggas is still still mad and unappreciative. Like, I don't appreciate it. One thing he didn't do was like he didn't get anything from 40. Yeah, yeah. I see he had a whole bunch of YouTube uh producers. He even had Manny Manhattan as his producer who uh did the Dem the Lights joint for me. I saw that. Yeah, I I I kind of like that. Like that's fine. That's um shout out to Manny Manhattan. Yeah, man. Man, he produced uh a few of my joints on uh my uh sorry nothing personal um album. But anyway, uh of course the uh You gotta whisper his name.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_04

Of course, uh some Kendrick fans are on the crash course to discredit this album, these albums actually. And it's like like I said earlier, it's like, damn, let this man have his moment. And you know, you yeah, yeah, yeah. Y'all master to respond if he chooses to, you know what I mean? Let Kendrick Kendrick had a good two-year run. He capitalized off the back and forth. He let you just let Drake do his thing and let him talk his shit and let him just build whatever was destroyed within the past two years. And man fulfilled his, he managed to fulfill his album album obligations with Universal and Oh yeah, the rumor about the private equity firm that's willing to pay him two billion dollars.

SPEAKER_08

Oh, yeah, the two billion dollars or whatever.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, um I I I think if Universal want to retain Drake as the artist, they gotta counter that with like twice that amount twice as much, or maybe twice. Or maybe trice. If if if if Drake signs with that private firm or whatever, honestly, he's gonna show and prove that any artist is capable of doing some shit and they won't need a fucking record label behind them or whatever.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, and then these record labels are definitely gonna start falling, and they already are, and they have been.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, because there's a bunch of other companies with money that can do exactly what y'all could do without getting in the way of these artists or whatever. Like these fucking record labels is just sharks in the water. Yeah, they take most of the pie, leave these artists dead and drunk, or dead and dead, and dead and fucked up.

SPEAKER_08

High and dry.

SPEAKER_04

High and dry, and y'all take all the coins. Nigga fulfilled it, like he had got 400 million from Universal, he filled his obligations, he got their money back and whatever. Nigga, the next step is definitely a billy, my nigga. Like, first of all, 400 million was uh the biggest music contract in the history of music. 400 million. So, like, there ain't nowhere else like like like but to a billion at that point or whatever. Like doubt Universal is gonna want to give him that money or whatever. So, like if he signs with this firm, that's gonna be like history making for these music artists or whatever. It's gonna be fucking history making and I do enjoy the fact that uh Drake is leading the charge as far as like like like shaking things up and and just changing the whole trajectory of like what you could do as far as being a music artist. I I definitely definitely salute to you for that. And not only is he making history with that shit, but he's showing he's showing that if Frank Ocean did it, motherfucker, and Michael Jackson did it, MJ Prince, Prince Prince did it by changing his name from uh Prince to the artist formerly known as Prince. And those guys got murked. I'm dead ass serious. Like, I don't feel like whatever happened to them was just like coincidental. Coincidental. No. I I like if you come on. These companies are you know what? I'm not even gonna get into like who owns these companies, but you know who owns these companies. Exactly. And they play with a lot of motherfucking money, bro. Like, I'm not even putting it past them that they're capable of like paying somebody off to like Yeah, paying a bag and putting a bag on people's heads. Yeah, exactly. Like, I'm not putting it past them. Well, that I'm not saying no names, no nothing, because I wouldn't want nothing to happen to me, my loved ones, my family, my friends, none of that shit. But that's just my opinion. I always felt that way. Like after I heard Michael, how the Michael Jackson got, I'm like, that is the funniest, that's crazy. Nigga died from a no, never mind. That's we'll go ahead. What were you gonna say?

SPEAKER_08

Oh nah, I was just talking about like how everybody else, like Frank Ocean, K Cuddy. Frank Ocean did that shit. You know what I'm saying? A lot of, a lot of folks. Like, uh another one was Ryan Leslie, but then he ended up getting blackballed. He ended up getting blackballed. He ended up getting blackballed after the fact.

SPEAKER_04

You think it's a reason why Frank Ocean did it and just never came back with any type of material?

SPEAKER_08

Just for what?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Or could it be also because of the fact that he and not not in hiding, but they said, you know what, you you doing that, now you can't make no more music. Because if you think you're gonna put another.

SPEAKER_04

So he got blackballed.

SPEAKER_08

Pretty much. Pretty much, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_04

But you could do what we do. Like we were independent. We ain't we wanna sign a label, you can get a digital kid, you can get a United Masters, you can that shit don't mean nothing.

SPEAKER_08

That's it. But he's still under contract or something like that. So if they see you winning, they're gonna be like, Yeah, you could have been making all that money for us. You know, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Well no, why? I can make all that shit for myself.

SPEAKER_08

Like, I don't know, scary hours. It is part four. Speaking of which, I want to branch off to something real quick. Okay. Ricky Ross, the boss. I need him to stop doubling down, bro. Like, it's starting to look pathetic at this point. Like, you know what I'm saying? You they spanked you when you was in Canada. It is what it is. Let it go. Who cares about the whole relationship dynamic between French and Drizzy? You know what I'm saying? Like, that shit ain't got nothing to do with it. I get it, the principal okay, woop-de-woo. But at the same time, it's just like, we're brothers. I just want to see my brothers win.

SPEAKER_04

I hate the fact that he had that energy about Drake before the album dropped, and he was just like, I just want to see niggas like it. Yeah, but then trolling him also, the comments you must hear what you like, and then just shit it on nigga.

SPEAKER_08

And then shitting on him, but then again, right after that, then another post comes out floating on I don't know, you know what I'm saying? So gotta fact check. But at the same time, even if he did or he didn't, what was seen and what's being projected out there, like as far as like your reaction to the fucking project, is very telling, like, it's giving PhD, not for nothing.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, yeah, for sure. No, I definitely agree with that. A player hating dickhead.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, yeah. Is a player hating dickhead? It's giving a whole lot of hate, a lot of envy, a lot of jealousy. My bladder. Ain't even gonna lie.

SPEAKER_04

I don't know. I I I don't know. The whole raw shit was just Yeah. I hated that because uh I I feel like him and Drake, they really Yeah, we're never gonna get classics ever again. They made great music together.

SPEAKER_08

It's not happening again, and if it does, it's but it'll be by the miracle of Jesus.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like Drake and Rick Ross, they were like that was Drake's greatest collaborator.

SPEAKER_08

Mm-hmm. They had I feel like they had the strongest chemistry out of all the other for real, for real.

SPEAKER_04

The two artists that I think Drake did most saw a lot of songs with was like Rick, Rick Ross and uh Lil Wayne. Wayne and Hendrix. And Hendrix, yes. Yes, yes, yes. Because a lot of his shit after Wayne, after Ross was future. Him and Ross had the best collaborations, best collabs. Like Lil Wayne, you know, like challenged him to do the bars, future challenged him for the vibes. Rick Ross challenged him for the like the lyrical shit. Yeah, and they always had like the most, like the best collaboration. Like I swear to God, they did. Like they had the best collaborations. Yeah. And I'm sorry that we would never, it seemed like we'll never see that again. Like ever.

SPEAKER_08

I don't think we get in that great fucking music they got. It's unfortunate.

SPEAKER_04

Shout out to those two guys, but damn. I do hate how petty uh Ross is. How Ross is acting, right? Yeah, it's fucking corny as shit. Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

But you know. That's why his ex-wife be talking man shit about him, because he be on some bird shit.

SPEAKER_04

That's what happens when you're the number one artist in the world, man. Yeah, you get a lot of hate, hate. A lot of fucking. Yeah, a whole lot of it. I'm pretty sure this next artist we're gonna talk about also felt the same way about, you know, you know, motherfuckers hating and shit. Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson. MJ. The original Drake. Or Drake is the new Michael Jackson. Who the fuck knows? Like, yeah, so I can't call Michael Jackson the original Drake. Michael Jackson's Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson, he officially holds the number one movie in the world with Michael. He officially surpassed uh uh $710 million, which is wild globally. Love that for his yeah, I love I love that. I still gotta see the movie too. Yeah, we're and he also has the oldest number one globally song with the classic song Billy Jean. It's on uh the Billboard Hot 200s.

SPEAKER_08

And did you see, did you see on Apple Music? All you see is the first 10 top is Drake. It's Drake. Then it goes some MJ.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, then it goes MJ.

SPEAKER_08

So everybody's like, you know.

SPEAKER_04

I love that. And I don't know I love that Billy Jean is getting that because of the movie or whatever. Billy Jean is a fucking incredible song. Oh god, which that's my favorite Michael Jackson song of all time, actually. Human Nature. I love that fucking song. I love that song.

SPEAKER_10

That shit's you fucking right here.

SPEAKER_04

I think we we also talked about this last episode. We also talked about this last episode. Well, yeah. The Michael movie is directed by Antoine Fuqua, you know, the same director of uh Training Day, the Equalizer series, Brooklyn's finest, side of whatever.

SPEAKER_05

Damn.

SPEAKER_04

So he he's a black director at that too. Right. I think I think I think he's from Baltimore or some shit. I do need to see this movie. I heard mixed reviews about it. A lot of people didn't really like it too much because they felt like it was it was too soon, like it stopped too soon. A lot of people was comparing it to the BET special, the Jackson 5 family special, whatever, back in the days. Yeah, that was that shit.

SPEAKER_07

I ain't gonna lie, I used to watch that shit every Friday.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I ain't gonna lie. I I still watch that shit to the other day. But I'm like, you know. But by the by the end of the movie, because a lot of people didn't fuck with the movie because it ended at like the the crescendo. No, no, it ended at the crescendo of his career, like like in the eighties. Really? Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_08

It didn't it it didn't even go Oh oh oh that's why they said that there might be a part two. Yes. Okay, exactly.

SPEAKER_04

And they already indicated it's gonna be a Sequel or whatever, because it said that he's gonna return. Like at the end of the movie, it says it said that um he's gonna return or some shit like that. Okay. Some bullshit like that. Um so was he already don't know yet if they're gonna start filming yet. They said they filmed enough material for the movie that there could be a sequel, but he doesn't know if he actually wants to put out another sequel. I feel like you owe the fans that, especially the new generation that, because I don't think a lot of these kids even know who the fuck Michael Jackson is. Like, there's some respect on his fucking name. You can't stop at the 80s where he just put out thriller. Like he definitely made noise in the 90s where he put out I forgot the name of that fucking album that he put out in the 90s, but that's that's the shit that had human nature on it and all that shit or whatever. And and um about the time and all that shit. Like that's all that was 90s. All that was the 90s or whatever. Like the 80s is like when he started like going up as far as his career. Like it was the Coshindo. The movie was shot for around 200 million, it made 710 million. Globally, critics and some fans were bombing this movie for a number of reasons. Like I said, one of them being because it stopped in the 80s, another being that Mike's nephew, Jafar Jackson, who plays Michael in the movie, they didn't believe like he looked like Mike. And I feel like a lot of people was like fucking with the movie because they wasn't fucking with the movie because of that reason alone, too. But I'm like, it's just a movie.

SPEAKER_08

It's just a movie. Like people will be like terminalizing things and yeah, you know what, and it's crazy.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like the people that are asking for all that extra shit wasn't even around. It wasn't even outside for that shit. So it's like, oh, he don't look like Michael, he don't move that, he don't dance like yeah, but you weren't even really around like for that in the first fucking place. Like, I don't because I don't think a lot of people that was around for that shit were even like that one thing that wouldn't even really bother them. Like, they was just like, okay, it's just a fucking movie.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And it's just art. It's just art in the fucking thing.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, I gotta see that shit too. I'm not even gonna lie. I've been meaning to go and watch it, but you know, life has been lifing and a little hectic getting in between my.

SPEAKER_04

I don't think I'm gonna watch it. I think I'm just gonna be those movies, I'm just waiting streaming.

SPEAKER_08

I ain't gonna lie, Anna said the same shit. That's crazy. Yeah, and she said the same shit.

SPEAKER_04

I was like, but why? No, and you know why? I would watch it in theaters. Sorry, I got a surround system in my living room. I feel like I would watch it in theaters, but like I'm not a bandwagon type. Yeah. I don't I don't jump on anybody's bandwagon because of like it's the big it thing at the time. Yo, I'm I'm st I'm I'm I'm probably only gonna worry that stuff and watch Game of Thrones.

SPEAKER_08

That's probably that's probably the reason why I haven't prioritized to go see it. Like, you know what I'm saying? Cause a lot of shit could be happening in my life and I still like people make time for the things that they want. Straight up. Yeah. Straight up. And I'm one of those people. You know what I'm saying? So I hate to sound like that, but it's the truth.

SPEAKER_00

You have to be though.

SPEAKER_08

You know, you have to be selective with certain things and people and all that. But yeah, I think that's why. Because ever since the movie came out, all I hear is MJ in people's cars. I'm driving. You rock by I'm seeing more like reels of kids moonwalking and shit. And and don't get me wrong, I feel like it's great to familiarize the latest generation with who MJ was, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um but at the same token, it's just more or less like, why why now? Like, why wait until now? You know what I'm saying? And that was because of the movie. Like nobody was like spreading that message, you know, like prior to the movie. Is it because we're we're going based off of like the allegations and all the fuck shit about you know his wonderland and all of this shit? Like, if anything, like and if you've been listening to Ada Wade and you're part of the Ada Wade family, you already know anybody who's newcomers. I am one of those big ass conspiracy theorists, and I'm one to say, yes, I do feel like he probably was looking uh out the fucking industry, the industry also and that's probably why all of that shit ended up coming about with him supposedly doing things that he shouldn't have been doing, inappropriate things with the YNs, you know?

SPEAKER_04

So I'm just so glad that that Drake was just able to figure it out at the age that he's at right now, because I feel like 40s when Michael and all that, like he figured it out, like he probably was just too old to like keep up with like an entity like the labels or whatever, like like going against a giant like that or whatever.

SPEAKER_08

No, I think he his back was against the wall. He just didn't know how to crack the code just yet. He was aware. He was aware.

SPEAKER_04

And we needed motherfuckers like that to uh learn from and yeah, see this is why drink is important. Like I I I know it sounds like it sounds like we get rid of it, I ain't even gonna lie. I don't want to step on the Michael topic, but like, yeah, this is why we need a drink or whatever, so like he could pick up the pieces where Michael left off at and and and and and and show the people how it's really done or whatever. Absolutely. You don't need these fucking labels, these fucking crap.

SPEAKER_08

Hey Janet, shut the fuck up.

SPEAKER_04

Right. Yo, anyway, and because of the success of the of the Michael movie, the King of Pop song, Billy Jean also rose and and re-entered the charts at number one for the oldest number one on Billboard Global 200 charts 43 years after its release. It was in the 60s, it was in a six Billy Jean was in the 65th spot prior to the movie, and then after the release of the movie, it shot to number one as the biggest song in the world. And that's also like prior to until Iceman dropped.

SPEAKER_08

And how many units did it sell out the first week?

SPEAKER_04

I don't know. I don't know those numbers, but it was number one on the Billboard Global 200. So even after Wrestling in Power, Mike Jack still is out here causing waves, and I feel like yo, that's incredible to have that type of effect on the masses. Like the man-made music with intention and in return, like the longevity of the music, it just garnered fans from all different decades and generations. I could definitely appreciate that. Especially with you know, of course, it's h it took the movie to help him get attention from like the younger audience and whatever, but fact of the matter that it genuinely gathered the attention from like the younger audience, and it also regained our attention as well, too, to like who the fuck Michael Jackson is, to this culture or whatever. Like, so shout out to Michael Jackson, man. Yeah, all that good shit, man. Oh man, yo.

SPEAKER_08

Yo. Everybody going under Rihanna's comments. I mean her post and comments and gotta stop. Like, I get it. I get the notion, but like you gotta chill. I I love it.

SPEAKER_04

Rivi need to just turn her comments off. That's my favorite fucking song on that fucking album. I love it. I love it. Oh no, and I love Rihanna, man. She don't just love Ribi, no. It's not like it's not like she's getting attacked, but niggas is like, damn, you didn't post a single. Facts, like why you ain't posting single? Damn, USB Mo, you ain't posting a single. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_08

There was at um, there was at some premiere or some shit. Or oh the the afties. I think they were leaving Jay-Z and Beyonce's um after party from the Met Gala. Yeah. And they were caught arguing. They were in a heated argument.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Inside they lore. And they um turtle top. Sprinter van.

SPEAKER_08

And their sprinter, yeah. They were in their sprinter. And you could see them clear as day. Looking like she cursing the fuck out. He said they're like, whatever it is. And then I saw something recently with some young chick. What's her name? She's like a streamer. And it it appeared as if she said that she did something Rocky. Oh, really? Yeah. And and it was on mute. So like people were like reading her lips, and they made out it's it being Rocky that she slept with. Cause I the question was was like, who's the most famous person that you know you ever slept with? And then when she went to respond, it went mute and went dead. But you could see her lips moving. And I was like, And then there was a fact. A fact check. Somebody screenshot it, and he liked one of her pictures, and he was a follower on her page.

SPEAKER_04

Messy, messy, messy.

SPEAKER_08

Messy, messy, messy, messy. So I was like, well, well, go ahead, please, fuck it up. Fuck it all up. So that way Riri could come out with another project.

SPEAKER_04

Because supposedly, yeah, she was working on another project, but you need to take French Montana's advice, man. Yo, listen, Rihanna, Rihanna's up, what, a billion, two billion, some shit like that. She's a billionaire. Yeah. Don't fuck that up, my boy. I don't think French Montana doing that with the with the Dubai princess he got or whatever. Absolutely not. You seen the princess try to dance when the heat's like nah.

SPEAKER_08

You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_04

He ain't trying to fuck up that bag. That's a Bronx nigga. He's smart, nigga. Fuck you talking about. Fuck is you talking about, nigga? He's smart ass nigga. Fuck is you talking about, though?

SPEAKER_08

You fuck the bag up. At all. Don't you fuck the bag up, man. Let the bag make you. You gotta make that.

SPEAKER_04

Yo, listen, Rocky, just cause you putting babies in her, don't mean that she's yours, my brother.

SPEAKER_08

That's a fact.

SPEAKER_04

She can up and leave anytime. Good care them fucking kids by her goddamn subject. She ain't even gotta leave. You gotta leave. Yeah, nah, yeah. You gotta get out, nigga. That part. You gotta get out of Harlem. Shout out to Harlem.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, because she she's gonna stay over there over there.

SPEAKER_04

She's gonna stay in Harlem. You can't never come back to Harlem. She loves the town.

SPEAKER_08

The town loves her.

SPEAKER_04

And the town loves her for sure. Like, yeah. I think the town would get rid of ASAP Rocky for Rihanna.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I think we got no problem getting rid of ASAP Rocky for Rihanna. That's fucking funny.

SPEAKER_07

Not too much, not too much. I ain't gonna lie.

SPEAKER_04

God, that trade-off is not a that's not a fucking no, that's a no-brainer.

SPEAKER_08

Nah, it is a no-brainer, but you know what I'm saying? That's my son, my son Rocky.

SPEAKER_04

Nah, I'll fuck a Rocky, but that's still no brainer, my nigga. Like, what the fuck you mean? Nigga, if you had a regular right now and they gave you the option. You had a regulator right now, and they gave you the option of like, yo, unlimited budget, you only get to hide two main acts. One of two main acts. ASAP Rocky or Rihanna. Who is the fuckers you sign? That's a no-brainer, yeah. Hit maker, nigga. Fucking you too. Yeah, me. Anyway. Last topic of the night. We're uh we got Shakira.

SPEAKER_08

Shakira, Shakira.

SPEAKER_04

She uh she won a lawsuit against the country of Spain. Uh Spain's high court ruled that the that the tax authorities uh You said she won or she lost. No, she won. Oh, yeah, yeah. She won.

SPEAKER_08

Okay, I thought I heard you, right? Okay.

SPEAKER_04

She uh the tax authorities wrongfully accused her of being a resident of Spain longer in 2011, which in turn made her pay more taxes than she was supposed to pay. So they owe her around 55 million, I guess, pounds or whatever the fuck it is. But that's that's equal to 70 million US dollars. Plus interest. Plus interest. She was only a resident of Spain for 163 days, and not the initial 183 days that tax authority said that she was, and that's why they uh you know uh uh charge her as uh that much. And that's why they sadly failed. Yeah, and you guys lost. Absolutely failed. She provided proof, you know what I'm saying? I guess dumbass nigga, right? They just want to give away money, like the fuck.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, I want to give it away to a celebrity like that, like and supposedly she's she's gonna she could get close to a billion dollars off of this show. Imagine that. Imagine, but I mean, after all the loyality fees and shit, obviously. Yeah, but she's still walking around, she's gonna walk away with a great amount. Yeah, for sure. She's laughing right now on her way to the bank.

SPEAKER_04

I keep forgetting how Spanish Shakira is. Like, she's super duper like. Oh, where's she from?

SPEAKER_08

Colombian? Um, she she's from Colombia, right?

SPEAKER_04

Somewhere in South America, like somewhere in there.

SPEAKER_08

I think Shakira is from Colombia. I said she's a Columbia, uh, she's from Columbia.

SPEAKER_04

Look that up or whatever. But she was she was staying in Spain, I I guess for a little bit. Yeah, she's Colombian. She's Colombian? Yeah, nice. So I yeah, I guess that was like through citizenship or whatever. Like, whatever. But she's like, nah, I don't, I'm not, I'm not actually a Spaniard. I just lived out there for half a year, you know what I'm saying? Like, I don't, I shouldn't have to pay taxes for living out here for half a year. Like, you know what I'm saying? That's crazy.

SPEAKER_08

That's outlandish. Yeah, that is that's crazy. Wow. That is wild.

SPEAKER_04

But shout out to her, she won that. I ain't really got a big thing. Shakira, shakira.

SPEAKER_08

Ain't much to really talk about when it comes to that. So we just we're just putting it out there for y'all to know that she got the bag.

SPEAKER_04

Shout out to her, she got the bag. She got the fucking bag. Yeah, and you and you mentioned that she was gonna be receiving interest on top of the winnings.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So we we we're gonna do this in in US dollars. 70 million US dollars plus interest. Like that's lovely. Leafuck? Leafuck.

SPEAKER_03

Talking about crazy. Yeah, right. I had getting in my friendship. I ain't got nothing to do with Spanish. The fuck? You gotta say Lee Fuck? Lefu? The fuck are you talking about? 70 M's, nigga? The fuck and then some?

SPEAKER_08

And then some.

SPEAKER_03

That's lovely.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. We wee. We wee. I'll take all that.

SPEAKER_04

Let me talk about yeah, yo, shout out to Shakira. Yeah, word. Shout out to Shakira. Miss Hipwiner, Miss Ah, no, no, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_03

Hey. Hey.

SPEAKER_08

Shakira, Shakira. You know, that's the only song that I really remember. Like growing up as a Kiffer, because I don't remember anything else. What else? You don't know too much Shakira songs? I don't like I don't remember them. I know them when I hear them, but like I don't remember the names of them. Maybe because I wasn't really a Shakira fan.

SPEAKER_04

Who the fuck is actually? Damn, that's fucking that's not even like that even sound right.

SPEAKER_08

That was massy. All right. That was mass shit. Alright, no. Don't do that. Don't do that.

SPEAKER_04

Don't do that. Don't do that.

SPEAKER_08

I'm a Kato G fan. Don't and she's from Columbia.

SPEAKER_04

She's more like relevant today, like, you know.

SPEAKER_08

Speaking of which, uh they said Drake was talking about Kato G and new bestie. And it sounds like he was talking about. That'd be some shit. Drake and Cotto G.

SPEAKER_04

Yo, Drake, Drake, Drake. Drake loves his little fucking 20-something year olds, man. I swear.

SPEAKER_08

Drake began all the bitties. I ain't gonna lie. Oh man, Drake. Drake, Drake, Drake. Oh, just give me a cup. I told you. All I need is an M for me to just start over.

SPEAKER_03

Life is good, but it would be better.

SPEAKER_04

You said you said half a man at first, but I did say half a man at first. I'll definitely take an M.

SPEAKER_08

I'll take an M. Tax free. Just give me a cup. I'm tax-free. I said a half a chop, but then nah, I said I'll take a full chop now.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Yeah, I know.

SPEAKER_08

Like that goat I was eating on my way here.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, man. That shit was funny. Nigga, what'd you have? You had jerk goat, curry goat? What'd you have?

SPEAKER_08

Nah, I had some Spanish goat. Ooh, nice. But it was from that Lulo spot over there on Fordham. Nice.

SPEAKER_04

Good concourse. You got that from Columbia too?

SPEAKER_08

Nah. He's trying to be funny. You the asshole. Yeah, man. Tell you what I did get from Columbia. What you got from Lugan, man? I'm in love with that.

SPEAKER_04
