And then we're gonna end it with March Madness. We're talking basketball. We're jumping into my specialty. We're doing anything, anything and everything together. Okay, we're it's my specialty, and I'm excited to talk a little bit about it. It's not gonna be a crazy long session because you only know so much. Okay, and just a quick little spoiler. His bracket has been busted. Okay, anyways, I have a quick question for you before we you know jump into our first topic, and that is um, I think you need to tell the people kind of your newfound love for this. For what? And that was this was our was this our fifth game? Hold on, let me pull that up because that's crazy to even say that. It's painful, okay? Oh my gosh, five. Was that our fifth game today? Or that yeah, that this was yeah, this is our yeah, we had only scored one goal in four matches. Klaus, who we got rid of, had scored a number of goals.

I know this guy over here, he's probably gonna play it off like he's not. This is what he believed, but all he was saying is, man, we're not winning the game until we play Austin F Seattle.

We were playing, I told I told him that City wouldn't win a game until the match against Austin at home. Which was when? Which was like what July? Because we were so crap. We were so crap. I know it didn't look. And just I um and I've never done this. I know we're like newer city fans, so we have no right to complain like this. Everyone's a newer city fan. We're not around that long. We're all new city fans, but I actually like not this game, last game. Against Seattle, was it Seattle? No, against LAFC. I didn't even watch the second half. Because I was like, so I was like, I literally told myself I have something better, I had something better to do.

Because I said our team could give 60 minutes probably before it was gonna be a spade, before it was gonna be a problem. I just like they gave 60 minutes of everything they could possibly give, but then it was gonna break at some point, and it did for them against them, and so like of course you're going up against LEFC with some absolutely studs of players, so it's like I don't know what your what your expectation would be. I was kind of expecting us to lose probably, but I just wanted us to score a goal, like do something, and we had so many chances that game. We had so many chances. I watched the match, I watched the whole thing, it was painful, but I watched the whole thing, and so yeah, I get why we were like kind of in the dumps. Um I don't know, like this season, I think there was a bit of optimism. Um, and I think there is these I think I'm really hopeful that this last one is a step in the direction that we're gonna see for the future because sometimes it takes time to get just get where you need to get, especially with all the new pieces and everything, and a few games in, that's usually when you would start seeing those start to pan out. We'll see about that. I don't know how to say that, I don't necessarily know if I believe that yet, but I think one of the things for me as a fan is I came in pretty excited, but you know, I think it's important to touch on the fact that we're missing probably the glue of our team. Um, it's really sad. His wife passed away. Yes. We just prayers for for him. You know, it's just like you know, you don't how do you I remember watching his video, he's like, I don't actually know how I'm gonna like operate after this. Like it's you know, you just never know. But it's like for a team to lose your glue, to lose someone so someone so important to your team in the midfield, yeah, is just painful, but but it's not really at that point about man, I really wish he was here. It's just man, like how she wasn't, yeah. How well you don't want that to happen to anybody, obviously, but like how can we honor and play for him? For him, and to you know, like there has to be like a level of like if it were me in that locker room saying, one of my teammates, the glue of our team, is going through one of the hardest things he will ever go through. Probably, yeah. How am I gonna step up and show him that like I care? You know, and I know that it goes beyond just a field, but like when you're out there, at that point there has to be something that drives you, and that's the thing that has to drive you to say we're playing. And they did they did that the whole game was honoring, they wore like the gray, the gray, yes, and they um did the whole thing before again just to honor like the silence, yeah, and just like and I and I really hope that you know they use this game as momentum going into some you know hard competition we're gonna see. I don't have like a high expectation because we play NYFC who's been playing really well this year, but I d I don't know, like I just think that it was very it was very optimistic to see how we actually played well. I well I know you didn't watch it, so I have different takes than you, but I don't know.

And the fact that it's just the past couple matches before then, it was just like elaborate, you know, we would we would start good, and then it's just the first as soon as the first goal goes in, it's just the team falls apart.

Yeah, that's what's infuriating, which is what could have happened with this last match because they scored. And I feel like that play didn't like accurately just show like how well I think our like defense played in that because when I was watching the match, like besides that, like there were just so many moments where the other team could score, and we just found a way to stop them, like someone got back and and and blocked it or or whatever it is, and I just feel like I want to see us be able to do that for the full length. I know that we can do that for a period of time, usually, but this is the first time where I felt like the whole game.

Especially if you go, there's a neighborhood La Boca, which is like the most popular neighborhood. If you walk the streets of that, you'll see a lot of these murals of these people like Carlos Garden, who's a famous Tango dancer or Tango singer. And then the way they they're these the artists paint these around like the picture they paint or whatever, they draw these like flowers, nice like artistic flowers. I wish I could find an example so you can know what I'm talking about, but that's why they try to do it. That design. So I actually really like it. I think it's very smart.
