SPEAKER_00

Go, go. Got big gloves in my hood. I'm cool, nigga. I'm good. Cool. Think about the whole day as for those two of the woods. That country boy living. That shit was God giving for me. Slinger rock summer until they was on the mission. I was never lacking. I stayed packing on God. I was trapping. Fresh nigga on the block. They couldn't tell me shit. See, top gone with a bad bitch. Look, chuck never miss. I was a shit in all sports. I never proceeded with it. I knew I was gonna get rich. They slept over too long. They got the whole hood leg. I'm a step up, big step up. You trying to run it up to a million. Believe me, this shit mega.

SPEAKER_02

Turn me up one time, yeah. Turn me up for a minute. Turn me up one time, yeah. Turn me up for a minute. Turn me up one time, yeah. Turn me up for a minute. I'm pressure. Leave it up to me. Little bad bitch, real quick, bitch, with a real smart mouth. I was always on the ground. Knew I had to get top, look, skirt every nigga wanted. King my penis does Mama like Bill too. Can't not stop, wasn't like south. Knew I couldn't lose. Black sheep of my family had dreams in the land. Work ass food with an ass too. I need big raptors. They said rapper won't quit. But I'm turned up now. And I don't well won't see me listen, paying me is money. I'm feeling my money as a solid bitch's boat. Tell me because I'ma win. But it be your own kid. Trying to hold you out, but I'm level up, level up, oh, me up one time. Try me up for me. Try me up one time. Turn me up for me. Turn me up for my job. Try me up for me.

SPEAKER_05

We push you, we put you, big stepping, big stepping, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_03

All right, we got a double play from Taliban.

SPEAKER_07

So um, we're just gonna talk about uh, you know, 304 and turn turn me up. Uh, what's the inspiration from for the songs?

SPEAKER_01

Um, so with 304, I just really wanted to like, you know, just talk about um how these men be out here trying to dog us out, but at the same time, we can play that game too, you know, like women, we out here in our bag, um on our shit, you know, and putting ourselves first. And we're not gonna just put up with anything. Like you gotta have standards, like in the same time we see y'all, like we see the games y'all playing. So instead of them calling us 304s, now we're calling them the dudes 304s. So that's pretty much what's the inspiration.

SPEAKER_07

All right, and uh turn me up.

SPEAKER_01

Um, turn me up. I just literally wanted to just really get raw with that one. So I was talking a lot about my childhood, my upbringing, growing up in Southside Richmond, and what I went through, you know, coming up um in my family, and how it can be a lot of obstacles, especially, you know, when you are a chosen one and you're doing things in your family that no one's ever done. There's gonna be obstacles, the devil's gonna try you, but you just can't let him win. You know, you got to keep going, keep turning up because he'll use any and everyone around you, especially the closest ones to you. They'll they'll betray you just to keep you down. You know what I'm saying? But it's you gotta understand that that's all part of the plan, a part of God's divine plan to make you stronger and so that you rise, you have a testimony that you can share with others who are maybe in similar situations, and you can give them hope, faith to keep going and to be the first in their bloodline to break generational curses and to keep pushing for that amazing, beautiful life you want because it's possible. Like, don't let anybody ever tell you that you can't do something, you can do anything you put your mind to.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, and I like that. Um, because there's a lot of us artists and musicians out here, you know, are are living that story where um just trying to find your way. You know, it's hard out here sometimes. Um you're not doing stuff the norm. And so if you're not doing it the norm, then you know, you're you're not you're not cool with it when you're doing it. So like to be out here hustling and grinding, to try to get where you want to get, you know, just you know, like I was just saying just keep doing what you're doing. Um stay honest to the music and you know, um just just just don't sell out, you know, because even if even when you get that deal, they might want you to, you know, probably you know, do things that you know you weren't doing on the indie side, but since you're on the main side and to get more people, you know, sometimes you have to sell your soul.

SPEAKER_01

Clock it. Clock that. No, I will not be selling my soul. Okay, my soul belongs to God, it is here in my body. I'm not I'm not doing, I'm not going for anything. Like, money isn't everything. You gotta know when to say no and trust that it's something bigger and better for you. I definitely wanna, you know, shout out all the artists out here grinding. Like, yeah, like you said, when you're not doing a conventional path, it can feel so hard because society is just coming at you every which way, telling you you're wrong. But no, if God put it on your heart, then it's possible for you. So just keep going. And it's gonna lead you where you're supposed to be. You know, I really believe that. But yeah, I'm not, I'm I'm I do want to deal, but I'm not sounding my soul away.

SPEAKER_07

We're gonna have to give you crap for that. Um what is your like, your um your favorite producer right now? Who are you riding with?

SPEAKER_01

I want to shout out drum majors, drum majors atl. They're they got some fire beats. Like I was so excited when I learned they want to work with me because they've worked with some some of the greats, like Lil Wayne, they work with um Shaudi Lowe, Young MA, like Young LA, like it just the list goes on. Like they're legends in this producing game. So the fact that they're working with me is amazing. Like they've been looking for female artists, and they said that actually it's been hard for them to find female artists that can work on their beats because their beats, I guess they're a little like not the norm for most female artists. And I'm not gonna lie, when I first got on their beat, it was a little of a learning curve for me because I'm used to being on trap beats. I like I love making trap gangster ass rap music. Like that's my line, that's my lane.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_01

So I got on Nervy and it was a more like I don't even know what style of beats they make, but it's just like a dope sound. So y'all gonna hear it when I drop thick and strict, y'all gonna hear it. So right now I'm riding with them, they rocking with me.

SPEAKER_07

So yeah, yeah, they they they're good people. Um, shout out to the stick. Um even able to give me a platform where I'm able to interview uh independent artists and you know uh familiar music and all that. So it's it's been it's been an honor to do that. Um thank you.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I want to shout out to my producer who did my mixtapes. Um Biggs, shout out Biggs, he's in the 757, he's amazing, he's billboard charting. Um, so yeah, shout out Biggs, Prime Records Studios.

SPEAKER_07

You know, our support, uh, our people that look out for others, uh, just not yourself, because you know, it's not just one person in music, it's all of us. So um glad that uh you bring it to some people that that um real supportive of what you're what you're trying to do.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you. Yes, and like that support is so necessary. Like it's a lot of stuff that goes on behind the scenes. I feel like people don't even know about, you know. Um so yeah, you just gotta keep going and and trust, trust in the unseen and it's working out for you.

SPEAKER_07

I agree. And and it's gonna happen.

SPEAKER_03

SPEAKER_04

SPEAKER_01

You know, yeah, everybody's dream collab is Drake.

SPEAKER_07
