I think she got the woman in it over like a girl.
SPEAKER_01Long motion, what you do with that? The body bears, she got messy there, like a resistance innovation. But what you do with his own rotation, occupations in the ovation. Now that was it like an origin, they've got all the bees. She's gonna make it clear. She gonna make a chapter. She can make exactly like a sending no bitch. But what you do with gathering, sending no patients. I've got to be patients, she's all in the fact that she can make a girlfriend. She got a gig and one of the teachers.
SPEAKER_02I'm good. How about yourself? I'm doing good, I can't complain.
SPEAKER_00All right, y'all. Um already know what we do. This is your boy AD. You know, we locked in to the dopest platform. For independent artists worldwide, today I got a special guest here in the building coming out of Tampa, Florida. Bringing nothing but high-energy, out of politics, raw, hip hop flavor. Let's make some noise for your girl, Chappie Girl.
SPEAKER_02I make noise too.
SPEAKER_00So I want to welcome you to the show. Um glad that you uh took took some time out to um, you know, stop by. Um, we just wanna, you know, for the artists, uh for the people who have not heard you before, um, we want to uh just give them a moment to uh let people know who you are uh and tell them about yourself and what makes you who you are.
SPEAKER_04Um my name's Chevy Girl, like you said. I'm from Tampa, Florida. Um I've always been around music. Like my my family used to be in the industry back in like the 90s, like on the charts with like Eminem, Michael Jackson, all of that. So I've always seen artists coming in and out of our house studio. One day I just decided to learn pro tools, started reporting myself, um, and then just took that leap of faith, really, honestly.
SPEAKER_00So um would you take in that leap of faith? Uh who was uh your biggest fluences during that time?
SPEAKER_04Definitely uh a lot of people don't say it, but KRS won, um definitely, because his breath control is lethal. I definitely like uh I more so grew up with like the slick ricks and of course Eminem, Buster Rhymes and all of them. Um 3-6 Mafia, just the different, the different people all over, even all the way out in the West Coast, just hearing the different sounds and the vibes and inspired me to not like sound like them, so to speak, but to take what they do, make it myself, and just have my sound.
unknownIt's different in the game.
SPEAKER_00Uh since you're out in the uh Tampa area, uh like how the reception of the game and uh doing shows and putting out music, what kind of reception are you getting out there?
SPEAKER_04I get actually pretty good reception. Um a lot of people tell me I don't sound like I'm from Florida, and especially I don't sound like I'm from Tampa. So when I do perform, they're expecting like I would say maybe like like Trino to City Girls as far as my sound. Then I start rapping and my voice, like my tone lowers, and they're like, wait a minute, wait a minute, run that back.
SPEAKER_00I like that. Um so while you're out there, uh, pretty much like you do a lot of studio sessions and you're doing a lot of music, like how did the environment shape you as an artist by starting out?
SPEAKER_04Well, for myself, like when I'm in my sessions, I don't I don't like for other people to be in the room because with my dad being my manager, him being the one who was in the business, it's always been drilled. Like, we don't come here to write, we come here to record. Make sure you write all of that need to be done before. But being invited to listen in parties that are in studios, it's allowed me to, I guess, kind of see how everybody else has their own work ethic. And if I'm still like, if I can go bar for bar with people still. Um, and then also just taking in like the vibes and just seeing like how their people are reacting to their music as well. So I soak up a lot of games, so to speak, when I'm in the studio.
SPEAKER_00So with your uh dad being your manager, uh uh, what are the pros and cons of of that?
SPEAKER_04The pros, uh he he's gonna be honest. He's not a yes man. He's gonna be honest. He's not uh like back in the day with American Idol, when them kids will come on and we like, now you know you shouldn't be up there. Yeah, he he's not.
SPEAKER_02I think I like that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, he's gonna go go back in there, go fix it. Um, the cons, because he's from like the older era versus like the new era now, we butt heads on different sounds. So it's like I'd be like, no, like they're gonna like it. And he's like, this is not a hit. If a DJ plays it, they're not gonna be able to break it. So I get more leeway because I'm his daughter, but if it was any other artist, he'd be like, go ahead, whatever. I don't care, drop it, do your thing. I'm not your manager. But that's pretty much like I guess I could say the only cons, just having a difference on music sometimes.
SPEAKER_00All right. So you've been around, you've been active since like 2020, 2017. So what are those early days like trying to build your own name and sound?
SPEAKER_04Crazy. Um just going to, I was also a club promoter around that time. So I that's how you used a lot of um my time to make connects with like different DJs. But that run and that grind, like leaving, say, leaving my house at like nine, eight o'clock at night. I'm not getting home until eight in the morning. So bouncing around, networking, um, then having surprise performances that I'm not even prepared for. They're just like, yeah, here, take the mic. I'm like, all right, cool. Um, yeah, it was it's hectic. I wouldn't, I wouldn't change anything about it, though. I would still do the same things in regard to building those relationships with people, um, just stamping myself in that time and that era.
SPEAKER_00So uh also uh Louis said you were a club promoter. How did you introduce that into being the artist?
SPEAKER_04Because I was an artist, and because I'm more like one of those people that's like, you invite me, I'm like, so who all gonna be there? Who gonna be there? So it was already hard to, if I'm not performing or promoting, like they're not really seeing me like that. So when I'm coming up with them, like, hey, we're gonna be at this spot, it influenced a lot more people to come out. Then on top of the performance, it just solidified them saying, okay, you got something going. I like what I'm hearing.
SPEAKER_00Have you had any any moments where um you got discouraged? Uh, because I know that you've been an indie independent artist, uh, a lot of artists go off of likes uh and and stuff like that. So how has that been for you? Do you worry about that or does do you get discouraged to like likes to like quit?
SPEAKER_04I would say like the only time I really ever truly got discouraged uh back in 2018 when I was like doing that, promoting and like really building a name for myself, I got into like a near-death accident. And I had to relearn a lot of things, like similar to 50 Cent with the bullet, like my voice changed, like my the way I thought changed. And like my doctors were just telling me, like, you need to take some time, sit down, recover. So during that time, um, I'm like, I'm steady writing, I'm always writing, but I wasn't recording. So it came to a point where I think maybe 2023-ish, maybe 2022, I was just I was in the studio, I'm recording, I wasn't liking how it was sounding, I wasn't liking the vibe. But for me, I was like, either I'm gonna put this out, not worry about that, or I'm never gonna rap again. For me, music is my life, so I I didn't really want to stop, but at the same time, it's like I was messing with my capabilities as an individual. So, yeah, that that's really honestly the only time I can say.
SPEAKER_00Uh, so what advice would you give artists that's going to might have went to or going to some of the strokes that you've been through?
SPEAKER_04Keep going. Um, my motto, even now, like if I can get one person to say yes to something on my music, I know I can get others to do it. So that's even with like sending a pitch to a radio station, see if they'll play your song or you see a flyer, hit up the person posting the flyer. Like, do y'all have any more room? I don't even need to be on the flyer. I just want to perform, even if it's one song. So literally just keep putting yourself out there, even if it's a small crowd, that crowd does not know you. So your music is always gonna be new to them.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because I knew uh I went to a show one time in uh Virginia, where it was a bunch of MCs up there, and um they came, I think it was Benny Seagel and uh Style Speed that came through. And the artists, what I I liked about the ones that get it, they they didn't show up all time, they showed up kind of late, but they gave a all and was just like, hey, I I'm I'm gonna put my music out, I'm gonna let people hear me. Uh I don't care if you clapping, getting along with it, but you go you go know what who I am. Uh and I and I really uh admire like MCs, um, male to L or female that's out here that's doing it because I know it's not easy, but uh what I would like to know from you, since you're a uh female MC, like uh what are the challenges of that as well? Because I know like, you know, with guys, we we could just go out and just do our do our thing, but women have so much more to, you know, deal with while trying to put music out and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_04Um for me, it's more so like typically uh surprisingly enough, or maybe unsurprisingly, a lot goes into the appearance aspect of it. So for myself, I try to make sure I stay outside of that box that they try to lock me in. But also because I'm a female, I may get like a male artist that's like, ah, okay, whatever. And I'm like, the people that know me, they know I perform. Uh I'm a former athlete, so I'm very competitive. So it's like for me, I'm accepting a challenge because I know once I get on this stage, you're not gonna be able to follow behind me. So any kind of thing where like someone's looking down or kind of just being condescending, I just take it, I smile, and I just left it, let it all go out on the stage and let the crowd react.
SPEAKER_00All right. So uh with you what you say in uh situation he was in the sports, uh, what what sports did you did you play?
SPEAKER_04Track, cheerleading, and then uh I started my own STEP team when I was in middle school, and then I took the same thing, did it in college, started a whole step team with you didn't even know what stepping was.
SPEAKER_00So so did that help you uh it also excel, like um, because it thinks you do a lot of dancing, you do a lot of movements with uh when you perform it, and so that all that like pretty much uh connect you to do what you're doing there.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, definitely. And it also gave me, I guess, the confidence to just be in front of a crowd of people and not really be in my head, like, oh my god, what are they gonna think? They're here for a show anyway, so yeah, I'm a show.
SPEAKER_00So your your sound is like a very high energy, you know, you got both it's bold and unapologetic. So I mean, how would you describe your music style to like somebody that didn't know you?
SPEAKER_04Um I would say very aggressive, but not so aggressive that it's a turn-off. Like, you're gonna get dancing, you're gonna get that turn-up time, and you're gonna just you're gonna feel like you wanna pop your stuff, just be talking like, yeah, that's me. So it's aggressive in regards to like I'm telling you I'm her. I'm not letting you tell me I'm not. So that's what you would get from me.
SPEAKER_00Uh I I read something that you uh about your uh authenticity being quirky or different. What why is that important to you?
SPEAKER_04Everybody always wants to follow a mold now. Um because there's been like I mean, hip hop isn't that old, but because there's been so many artists that's already done it, it's like, what am I gonna do to stand out? Like, what makes me different from them? Um for me, like unfortunately, I have a very dark sense of humor. Um, if it's a bad time to laugh, I'm usually gonna laugh. Then I'm like, I'm so sorry. Um, I like anime, I'm a gamer. Uh, I draw, I I've wrote a comic before. Um I love animals, like our most recent wolf dog over here. She's asleep. But on top of that, speaking of the wolf, like with my eyes and everything, uh, I lean into my era of music to fully make sure that I'm being my authentic self as much as I can. So I admire those other artists and what they did, but I'm trying to make sure you see what I'm doing now.
SPEAKER_00I like I like that. Uh I I I see that you're doing a lot of good things on on uh Instagram with your videos, and you know, everybody has their own style, but what makes you different from like the the other ones out there? And I know that we got the the baddies. Uh do you can do do art? Do you consider yourself one of the banddies out there? Or, you know.
SPEAKER_04I'm a baddie by by nature, but I'm not finna fight them. I'm too old for that. We ain't doing that, no. Um, yeah, my boyfriend helps me out a lot as well when it comes to like the creative aspect of videos. Uh, he's really good at marketing. So putting that package together, I'm like, yeah, that makes sense. Like, let's do this and that. So I'm a baddie, but we're not finna fight. It'll still get handled, but we're not finna fight.
SPEAKER_00Like it. So uh I usually uh ex ex uh people I interview uh because a lot of people have uh just they're just not doing it and they they mix like relationships into what they're doing. So how does like help having you and your boyfriend together working side by side with you? How does that help you do music, market, and promote?
SPEAKER_04We both, well, he's an artist as well, so we both already know like what we're expecting when we go and out to perform. Um we bounce ideas off of each other, and like maybe I'll be sitting there, it it could be four o'clock in the morning. I'm like, hey, hey, do this make sense? Do this make sense? Do this sound right? He's like, girl, I'm trying to sleep, but yeah, it sounds okay. So I know where most people like try to hide their relationships, that's where they go wrong, in my opinion. So it's it's nothing to hide about somebody I'm with, especially when they're supporting you, they're helping you, and y'all growing together. So I feel like currently at this point in my career, it's helping me because I hate doing I hate doing TikToks, the reels, but he's like, look, you need to get on this. So he stays on top of me for that for sure.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, say, say with me. Uh uh I'm I'm this is this is interviewing is new to me, so but uh my um girlfriend was like, hey, get out here, you know, and uh see what you can do, make it make a difference, you know, uh do something that somebody's not doing. And uh a lot of people they do interviews, uh, but I I wanted to make it to a place that people are comfortable. Not like it's you know, we just, you know, I'm just asking you questions and you're just like, okay. Uh so you know, so so I I I I appreciate her for for helping me with this platform because this is even like I I see a lot of artists on you know, IG in the chats that's pushing, promoting music. It's good to have these moments where you can sit down and you can like, you know, talk to the artists and get to know them yourself just as well as everybody else. Uh you should also take that time to get to know artists because sometimes you a lot of people stereotype what they see. And it's not always what it looks like. And so I I really uh appreciate these interviews that I that I do with with artists that's that's trying to do their thing out here.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I agree with you on that. Um, and one, like especially like with your girl, just that your partner tends to see stuff in you that you can't see yourself. So it's like, you know, yeah, I don't know. And they're like, nope, get it together. You got that. Right. And then this stereotype part, like, I get that a lot too. Um, like I said, people will look at me and they see one thing, but then when they hear me rap, they're like, is that you? So I I've even had a few like radio DJs, like when I'm performing, they'll just turn my music down and see if I'm actually rapping. I'm like, like, that's crazy, but I get it, I guess.
SPEAKER_00So when stuff happens like that, how do you feel? Like, because I I'm I'm a drummer, uh, but usually I play with a whole band. But like when you're emceeing, this is sometimes you up there. And when stuff like that happens, the how does that like make you feel?
SPEAKER_04It just it makes me feel, I guess, like they're like, ah, she ain't really doing this. She just lip singing or something like that. And then they hear me and they're like, how your voice sounds like. That like outside the studio, and I'm like, yeah, I know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And I like that that you that you're confident in what you what you're doing, that nobody can get you out there and um and deter you. Because I've been at some shows where even there might be the sound might been off, something might happen, and the and the artist drops their head. I'm like, like, no, don't do that. This just keep just keep good with with it. Um so while you've been talking about that, what advice would you give any artists that have those situations like you just had, or just have like sound issues and stuff, not to get the scurs and just keep keep going going with the vlog?
SPEAKER_04Definitely keep going. I just had a show uh this past Saturday where it was, well, I'm gonna preface it with you're not always gonna get a mic check. You're not always gonna get the chance to practice beforehand, which is why like it's very important to know what you're doing in advance. Don't get there and scramble. But the sound was off. It wasn't EQ'd right on my mic. And it was like, I don't know if something was wrong with like the mixing board, but it just kept going in and out. Best thing that I've been taught and what I continue to do, keep going. Because you know your song the best. So if you rap and you keep going and that song comes back in, you're gonna be right there where you need to be. The crowd's gonna appreciate what you're doing even more, knowing that you're actually doing it live.
SPEAKER_00That's getting advice for you all out there that's that's trying to do your do your thing. We're gonna talk about your music um that tracks like skinny jeans and yep, uh uh, that had been making noise. Like what you can create a process behind those songs.
SPEAKER_04Um honestly, I write before I hear my music. Like I'll hear a song and I'll start freestyling. If I freestyle to it, I'm like, yeah, I want that, I need that. But also, there's those times where it's just like 12 o'clock in the morning, and I'm like, let me write this down before I forget. And it turns into like a whole writing session, but just different things. Even um, like I'll be on Instagram and I'll hear somebody's song. I'm in the comments, like, put me on the remix, please. So it's it's very, it just depends on, I guess, the time of day.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I got I got you. Uh, do you deal with like how you deal with like writer's block?
SPEAKER_04Ooh. Um, I don't know if I've ever really had writer's block. Because for the most part, like if I'm I'm sitting there, I'm stuck on a word or something, or like I'm like, I want to write, but I don't know what. I'd be like, give me a word. And that's just it. Give me a word. They give me a word, so then I was starting to think, I'm like, okay, well, how can I make this into something a little bit more elaborate, maybe flip it to a double entendre or a triple entendre. Uh, what's my flow gonna be like with this? And I just start from there. My mind is just it just keeps going, and eventually I'm like, all right, we're gonna do it like this, and that's how I write it.
SPEAKER_00Gotcha. I I like that too. Uh you have you have a project now, 2025. Wolf Wolf Sun. Congratulations.
SPEAKER_04Wolf Season is the uh the album name. Um, but I have an EP out as well with Wolf Season uh with five different remixes on it.
SPEAKER_00All right. So, what does the project represent for you?
SPEAKER_04As for me, it just represents um acknowledging that I'm confident in who I am and where I'm at. Um anybody that said I couldn't, I'm showing you I can and I will. Um the wolf part of it, I've always, I don't know why, but I've always been very much drawn to wolves. And if you take a look at a wolf pack, the main alpha, they can lead the pack, but at the same time, they don't necessarily have to walk with a pack. Like they can go and hunt on their own. So for me, that's how I am as well. I lead people, but for the most part, I could still do everything on my own if I really wanted to. Um, that's one thing as well. I like to give advice on to other artists. Just make sure, like you can wear those hats. Know when you need to depend on other people. But if it's something that you really need to do, don't be scared to do it.
SPEAKER_00I like it. Uh so if you if you're doing all that and you know having your music out and getting the likes and all that, uh when supporters listen to your music, uh, what do you want them to take away or or or feel when they listen to any of your products and scenes?
SPEAKER_04Depending on the song, um, happy. I want them to feel like like there's people out there right now that they just need to smile or they just need a hey, like, keep going, you got it. So I want them to walk away from that, like, just knowing like it's not gonna be down for like forever. It's always gonna be, as long as you wake up that next day, you get another chance to keep going and to change your predicament. So I hopefully put them in a good enough mood to make them want to move around to be able to do those things they want to do.
SPEAKER_00So what would be your what is your favorite track?
SPEAKER_04Hmm. It's unreleased, but right now I think my favorite track, it's two actually. Um, one called Count It Up, because it's heavily like G Unit 50 Cent inspired. Heavily like Get Rich or Die Try and Expire. Um then the second one, it's just the title track, Wolf Season. Um it's more so the closest I could think of, it would just be I guess Cardi with Fiend on like on the chorus of that fiend song. Like it's repetitive, so it's a chant. But we got the video and the visuals and everything of it, and uh we got the wombs and the field. So shout out to Travis and Cardi.
SPEAKER_00So uh I know we uh and I'm a I'm a uh I know uh you you was I guess you uh when we talked, you were saving a a cat. So uh I want to talk about like what you're um about like with the animal and all that. What what drives you to be that one to like want to take care and nurture?
SPEAKER_04They help you live longer. They they just I don't know, they they help you, like they release dopamine in your brain, just makes you feel good. And on top of that, like just like with humans, like we didn't necessarily ask to be here, neither did they. So, like if I see some an animal that like again, right now, my little wolf baby, she's a rescue. Um, had I not taken her in, she could have been put down. I don't like to see that happen at all. So definitely I always like to help out as much as I can, donate if I have to. If I can't take them in, I'm gonna help you find somewhere that can take them in, pretty much, essentially. You might hear my dogs in the background. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_00Oh no, it's uh it's okay. Uh I like I I remember that you had told me that. Uh, and so I just want to just just talk about that, you know, because I I see that you you just don't just do music. Yeah. Say say the animals and and all that, and and so that we need we need people to do every everything. It's like I tell people at my conference, not just about the music, so it's about the community service, it's about the risk and the humility that you know to do things that other people won't do.
SPEAKER_04So I I can't always feel the need to put it on camera.
SPEAKER_00Right. Right. You don't you don't have to just exactly so uh what uh so your mission, what is your mission that drives your creative journey?
SPEAKER_04To be able to essentially just I guess be my most authentic self and just be heard everywhere. So if I do have a message, like I guess my whole life I've always stood up for people who are afraid to stand up for themselves or they couldn't. Like they didn't have that voice. So for me, I don't mind having a platform where I become that voice for people who do want to step up or do want to make a change, but they're afraid to do so because of how someone may look at them or something. That's what keeps me going.
SPEAKER_00So uh with your legacy, what what do you want to leave behind uh studio music?
SPEAKER_04Positivity, uh, growth, ways for everyone who listens to get rich, because it's a lot of money out here for everybody. So hopefully give you some inspiration and also as well, like you you could still go to school and do this. I have a bachelor's degree and I still make music, so it's very important to have your education. Um, I definitely want to leave that behind my legacy of music whenever I stop.
SPEAKER_00Uh so what can society do to create a better environment for artists and create creates to creativity to drive.
SPEAKER_04Go back to how it was before. Go back to pre-streaming and take it back to one of those physical CDs so that way people have that chance to meet you. Um, they can get to know you at that little stop, little pop-up you have. Um society as a whole also stop blaming music for what these people are doing. It's not the music. It's not the music. If my song can change the parenting that you did for 20 years, we gotta look elsewhere. But as far as that, yeah, yeah, take it back pre-streaming. I don't mind streaming, but take it to pre-streaming so that way an artist can cultivate something for their uh their audience, their fans, their supporters that's specifically for them and doesn't feel like a quick cash grab because you dropped something here.
SPEAKER_00Alright. So we're about to do some some rapid fires for you. Uh so we're about to hit you with who's your favorite artist of all times?
SPEAKER_04Ah Ooh, that's a hard one. Um, f of all time?
SPEAKER_00All time.
SPEAKER_02Um Dang.
SPEAKER_04I listen to so many. I'm gonna have to say I'ma have to say like the temptations. Yeah. Because it's just the the vibes, like the feels, like the harmonies. You don't get that these days no more. Like people can sing, but they can't sing. Like it's a difference. So when I hear you singing, I'm like, okay, but if you can sing, you got me.
SPEAKER_02Okay, all right. Dream, what what would be your dream collaboration? Eminem. Eminem for sure. Yeah. I can I can see it.
SPEAKER_00I can see it. I can definitely see that. Um studio vibe, night or day.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna say day. I'm I'm getting older. Like, I feel like eight o'clock, I'd be like, Y'all, y'all ain't tired.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_0410 o'clock, I'm like, my eyes are closing a little bit. Oh no.
SPEAKER_00I feel the same way. I'm like, uh that's why with these interviews, I was like, hey, y'all just you know, seven, you know, seven, eight cool. Like anything nine, ten, like, uh you know, like uh even Sundays, I'd be like, you know, people like, yeah, I can do a Sunday, I'm like, ah I play on Sunday. We do Monday through Friday, like you know, second. So uh one word to describe your sound.
SPEAKER_02One word to describe my sound. Sheesh, can I phone a friend? What would you say would be one word to describe my sound? You don't know either. Astonish.
SPEAKER_04Um, I'm gonna say Astonishing. He says astonishing, but I'm gonna say uh dedicated.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Crazy girl uh That's your summertime music, man.
SPEAKER_00And so I'm I'm gonna I wanna uh I wanna ask both of y'all why did y'all choose that for yourself?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, well I'll answer first. For me it's cause hey, Wayne, the dedication. I gotta, I gotta, I gotta keep it going, I gotta be dedicated, I gotta, I gotta be solidified with giving y'all a good time and still being real with it. Why would you say astounding or pretty girl live?
SPEAKER_03Astounding. Because you're showing um women that you don't have to just be um prettyish and sounding like a sounding like a high squirreling high enough Army girl to be a Barbie. Just like Nikki sometimes. She comes out with an aggression. You feel me? Like that's what stamps you as a legend, is actually meaning something to, especially the group that you, you feel me? Like the group that you uh fighting for.
SPEAKER_04Facts. What he said. I call it for heart.
SPEAKER_00Hey, hey, yeah, hey, yeah, I I like it, you know, I I I like the I like the chemistry, I like what y'all doing over there. You know, really does my heart good. Yeah, uh, you know, relationships fale because one, you know, either one's trying to do it, theirs not moving faster than the other, or you know, is this a lot of time and and and stuff in the studios and stuff like that. So to see y'all both to together working uh on the same page is is something miraculous. So keep keep doing that and you know don't let anybody come in between what y'all got. Got you. Um so I'm gonna hit sure with the go to what is your go-to motivation when you build stuff?
SPEAKER_04Go-to motivation. I'm gonna go, I'm, um, it's gonna be weird because I'm weird a little bit. I would go to the car, because like from Florida, like we we love that bass. I'ma go to the car and I'm gonna pick one of the like heaviest drop and beats, either of my own, or like the other day I was listening to Bone Crusher, and I'm at my daughter's school, and all they I they just hit, I ain't never scared. And I'm like, but I needed it because it's like I was working on a song at the time. I I need to remind myself sometimes, like, I'm not scared to do this. Like, what are you what are you stumbling for? You got this. So that's what I do. I listen to more music.
SPEAKER_00All right, all right. So um we're gonna uh so we're about to close out in a minute, but uh what makes you what what makes you who you are uh and what's up next for you, uh i.e. uh upcoming releases, uh any any performances, any visuals that you got on the rising?
SPEAKER_04What makes me me is uh what I've come to understand from others is my voice. Um when I rap, the tone that I rap with is very authoritative. Um it's aggressive, not in a matter of like I'm not I'm not mystical aggressive, but um, but I'm aggressive with it. Um as far as what's coming up next, like I said, I got an album. It's also titled Wolf Season. Uh we got visuals for it. I just had a show this past Saturday, but we in talks for other shows coming up as well. Um I'm always, if y'all want me somewhere, hit me up and let me know. I'm always willing to either like, for instance, I got I got fans in Kentucky. I'll make it my business to go do something out there to go perform for them just so they can see me. So y'all let me know and I'll make it happen.
SPEAKER_00Uh y'all heard it there. She she's ready to lock the load. Uh so where can people find you, follow you, uh, where can they stream your music and stay connected with you?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you can stream my music on your favorite platform, whether that's Spotify, YouTube, Apple, uh, iHeartMedia, D2, everywhere. My socials, uh, my socials on everything is I am Shabby Girl. That's C-H-E-V-Y-G-U-R-L. Only place that is different is YouTube, and that's because it's your Chevy Girl.
