I'm Jane Day and welcome to Abundant Funnels. I help coaches, course creators, and online experts get high quality leads and consistent sales without relying on guesswork, constant content creation, or$10 leads. In fact, I'm known for getting some of the best cost per lead results for quality buyers in the industry. This show is where we break down the ad strategy, the funnel, and the numbers so you can grow your revenue and buy back your time in a way that's actually sustainable. Let's get started. Hi there and welcome back to Abundant Funnels. I'm so glad you're listening in today. Now, today's episode is going to feel really empowering because I want you to imagine something with me for a moment. Imagine being able to hit publish on your webinar or masterclass Facebook ads and feeling calm. Not anxious, not wondering if it's going to work, not preparing yourself emotionally for disappointment, but genuinely confident that your ads are going to perform well. Straight away, every time. And I know that might sound like a big promise, but with the way meta ads work in 2026, it's actually easier than ever to get strong results quickly if you structure things properly. So today I'm going to walk you through exactly how to do that. The first thing I want you to know is that ads are simpler than ever. One of the biggest changes I've seen over the past six months is you no longer need to test 10 different audiences. You don't need five ad sets testing different interests, separate lookalike variations or complicated structures. It's simpler. One campaign, one ad set, and multiple ad versions. And if done correctly, you can confidently aim for cost per leads well under$5 for a masterclass or webinar. And I'm talking about high quality leads, not just cheap ones. So let's break down exactly how to set this up. Step one, your masterclass title and description matter more than you think. Before you even open Ads Manager, we need to talk about your event because your title and description are doing a lot of the heavy lifting. You cannot be vague. Specificity is everything. Your ideal client should read your title and immediately think, oh that's for me. If your masterclass is called something like how to improve your business, it's too broad. But if it's how to fill your group program without burning out on social media, now we're speaking directly to someone with a specific pain point. Your description should reinforce who it's for, what problem it solves, and what outcome they'll walk away with. And your landing page needs to load quickly, be clean, and follow all the optimization principles I've talked about in previous episodes. Because you can have the best ads in the world, but if your page is slow or confusing, you'll lose conversions. Step two is use the right campaign objective. This sounds basic, but it really does matter. If you're promoting a webinar or masterclass, you should normally be using the leads objective. Meta needs to optimize for the actual action you want, which is registrations. If you choose the wrong objective, Meta will optimize for the wrong behaviour. And then you're making its job harder and you would be disappointed with the results. Keep it simple, choose the objective that matches the result you want. Step three is one ad set with Advantage Plus Targeting. This is where a lot of people still overcomplicate things. In 2026, broad targeting powered by Meta's AI is working incredibly well. I use one ad set. I normally add suggestions into the targeting section, but honestly, what you put there isn't going to make or break the performance of your ads. Your ads themselves do the targeting now. Meta learns from your ad copy, who clicks, who registers, and who engages. So instead of stressing about audiences, focus on what actually drives the results. And that's your messaging in your ads, which leads us into step four, and this is where the magic happens: your ads. This is the part most people underdo. If you want confidence when you launch, you need volume and variety. I recommend at least 10 primary text variations. And I don't mean 10 slightly tweaked versions of the same thing. I mean genuinely different angles, different hooks, different emotional drivers. You should be speaking to different buyer personas across your ads. Don't try to speak to everyone in one ad. Speak to the overwhelmed one, the frustrated one, the ambitious one, the burnt before one, the one who knows they're ready, but all of them in separate ads. Some should be short and punchy, some can be longer and more story-based. Your copy needs to use the actual language your ideal client uses. Specific words, specific scenarios, specific frustrations. Because when someone sees your ad, they need to know instantly this is for me. And when your messaging is specific, Meta learns faster who to show it to. And your creative matters too. With your creative, mix it up. Use images and videos where possible. And don't just make slight tweaks. Different hooks, different design styles, different layouts, different visual energy. The more variation you give Meta, the more it can match the right angle to the right person. And that's how you maximise leads quickly. I want to share three real examples from this week alone from ad campaigns I've launched for some new Done For You management clients. All three were promoting masterclasses, not cheap PDFs or quick lead magnets, masterclasses. The first one is in the spiritual B2C space. We launched with$100 per day budget, one campaign, one ad set, and 13 ads. Each ad had five primary text variations. So technically that's 65 possible combinations for Meta to work with. Leads started coming in immediately at just over$1 per lead. Four days later it has stabilized at$1.24 per lead for a masterclass. And let me also add on this one, too, we're selling pretty quickly on the back end of this masterclass registration, and within two days we were getting sales coming in. So that tells us that the leads we are getting are not only cheap but they're highly qualified and prepared to purchase. The second one was in the relationship coaching space. The budget on this one was$50 per day to start with, one campaign, one ad set, six ads with five text variations on each. So 35 possible combinations. The cost per lead started coming in at$2.59. The third was in the B2B space. One campaign, one ad set, five ads with five primary text options on each ad. So 25 possible variations for the ads. The cost per lead was$2.86 within 24 hours. And here's something important to also note. Every single ad was image-based with strong text hooks, which means when we add video into the mix, we may even re improve these results further. I have mentioned the budget here on each of these examples, but this works whether you're spending$20 per day or$1,000 per day. So why this works? Meta's AI thrives on variation and it actually needs it. When you give it multiple hooks, multiple emotional angles, and multiple creative styles, it can quickly identify patterns and optimize towards what works. Plus Meta has so much background on its users, it knows who will engage with what messaging, hence why we need to be speaking to the different buyer personas with our copy. If you launch just one ad and hope it performs, you're limiting Meta's ability to learn and you're really limiting who it will show your ads to. When you launch 25, 35, or 65 possible combinations, you're giving it options and that's when results come in quickly. So let's recap. If you want to launch your lead generation ads with confidence every time, you need to nail your masterclass title and description. Remember, specificity is everything. I can't highlight that enough. Be specific. Optimize your landing page, use the correct campaign objective, one campaign, one ad set with Advantage Plus targeting, multiple genuinely different ad variations, especially with your primary text, and mix up your creative styles. When you follow this structure, you remove guesswork, you simplify the strategy, and you give Meta exactly what it needs to succeed. There is something incredibly empowering about launching ads and knowing you've stacked the odds in your favour. Confidence doesn't come from hoping, it comes from having a system. And this is a system I'm seeing working consistently right now. But I get it, writing all of that ad copy for your ads can feel overwhelming. That is why I created Lily Lee Gen. It's my AI-powered tool that will write you 10 copy variations instantly after you answer a few questions, all based on my proven framework that I use on campaigns I manage for my Done For You clients.
