In today’s episode, we sat down with how David Rosen and talked about how he was facing hardships during this national crisis and how he was able to pivot his business and open a new supply chain to help provide essential materials to the frontlines.
David Rosen is the founder & CEO of Kira Labs Inc, a beauty innovator, and cosmetic manufacturer established in 2003. Clients include Walmart, Kroger, HEB, CVS, TJMaxx, and Amazon. Kira Labs is a lean vertical brand produces and has been named a South Florida Manufacturer of the Year 2019 and Florida Exporter of the Year 2017.
In search of higher quality products and providing more value to consumers, David began experimenting and formulating in his garage. By targeting highly effective anti-aging formulas, David launched his first line and from day one had a loyal customer following. David established Kira Labs manufacturing in 2003 and has since grown to vertically market & manufacture over 30 brands worldwide B2B & B2C. Kira Labs employs over 150 people and features products in multiple categories including Face, Hair, Body, Men's, Natural, Home, and Pet.
David is a Lean practitioner and ever-learner, having most recently being named as Florida Exporter of the year and South Florida Manufacturer of the Year. Under David’s leadership, Kira Labs has also won the Presidents E Award for export, 2019 Runner Up for the Florida Sterling Quality Awards, 2019 CEO Apogee Award Winner, and 2019 GrowFL Company to Watch Winner.
David is a member of several boards, coaches kids basketball, and volunteers with several charities. David has presented and spoken at several conferences for the SBA, SBDC, and Amex.
