Let me just start here: Nate is alive, well, and was never in a basement. I don’t know why that rumor needed to be addressed, but apparently it did.

This episode has absolutely no structure, no agenda, and honestly no reason to make sense. We start with Summer House because of course we do, spiral into travel updates, take a hard left into music debates that did not need to happen, and somehow end up unpacking what life has actually looked like lately behind the scenes.

There are strong opinions, unnecessary arguments, moments where we both fully lose the plot, and at least three times where we probably should have stopped talking… but didn’t.

It’s giving pop culture, relationship banter, random tangents, and just enough chaos to make you question how we got from one topic to the next.

Nothing was edited. Nothing was filtered. Everything was said anyway.

If you’ve ever had one of those conversations where you leave thinking “what did we even just talk about”… this is that.

SPEAKER_01

Hello, hello, hello, and welcome back to the Taylor Taylor Taylor Show. The show where we say things three times until they make sense. And today we are doing a no-edit episode with my husband, Nate. Hi.

SPEAKER_04

Hi. Sorry, I'm dancing to the music. I have the theme music going on in my head right now. Oh, dude. Fun.

SPEAKER_01

Fun. So this is a no-edit episode. So are you a little nervous about that? No. No. No. Because you live your life unedited.

SPEAKER_04

My life unedited. I'm worried for you.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, are you?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But uh for for me, no, I'm just hanging out.

SPEAKER_01

You haven't been on the pod in a while.

SPEAKER_04

It's been a while. It's been a hot second.

SPEAKER_01

I think people might think maybe the little gremlins out there think that you can't come on the podcast anymore because of work. Do you want to clarify that to them? That you've just been busy. You didn't get in trouble.

SPEAKER_04

No, I didn't get in trouble. Not by my wife. No. My wife has been very, very kind to me lately, thank God. Right.

SPEAKER_01

No, I mean, did you didn't get you didn't get in trouble from your job. And that's the reason why you haven't been on the podcast. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

No. Nothing like that. No, it's literally just been I've been busy.

SPEAKER_01

You've been busy, okay.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I just haven't been able to show up to these. I've been busy working, you know, at points.

SPEAKER_01

We're squashing rumors. People have asked.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, people have asked?

SPEAKER_01

People have asked.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, guys. Hey, Name's okay. I'm fine. I'm fine. I swear I'm not hidden in a basement somewhere. She didn't lock me away yet.

SPEAKER_01

I have not chopped him up and uh fed him to uh livestock. Yeah, not yet. So we kind of have like battle of the bands going on right now.

SPEAKER_03

Um I mean if you call it a battle.

SPEAKER_01

It's a battle. I have a Swifty sweatshirt on, and you have Nickelback.

SPEAKER_04

Nickelback, baby, high time. Greatest, one of the greatest bands of all time.

SPEAKER_01

I I would say Nickelback is one of the greatest bands of all time. I love Nickelback.

SPEAKER_04

We were talking about this. They're one of the highest selling, too. I gotta look this up.

SPEAKER_01

And Nate has a tendency to just say things are like the highest selling or the top movie, and you're like, okay, so he has to look up facts. I need a primary source document to authenticate this. We watched Tiny Desk last night. What was your favorite song that she did?

SPEAKER_04

Lover, probably.

SPEAKER_01

Because that's the one I skipped.

SPEAKER_04

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

I did. I just like I can't co-sign on like a Joe Allwyn love song, you know?

SPEAKER_04

It's like Especially uh during the Travis Kelsey era.

SPEAKER_01

It is the Travis Kelsey era.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah. That was P what was it? BTK.

SPEAKER_01

That's what you said.

SPEAKER_04

Before Taylor K Travis Kelsey. Before Taylor Kelsey, too.

SPEAKER_01

Do you think she'll change her name?

SPEAKER_04

No.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely not.

SPEAKER_04

Well, legally, maybe she might, but she'll never change Taylor Swift. Like, I don't know how she feels about that kind of thing, but like she will never present herself as anything other than Taylor Swift.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, I agree with that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Her her ID, who who the hell cares? You know, it might be she might change it.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, half of the people that we know, they don't have their real name, their real names. The names that we know them as is not their names on their ID.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, because it's so hard to like change your name and everything. And if you don't have a kid as a woman, like you barely really need it, because really that's mainly for like travel. Um, they check that stuff when you travel with a kid.

SPEAKER_01

We really need to ask Dave Cruz to see his ID. Because I know damn well that's not his name.

SPEAKER_04

You don't think it's his last name?

SPEAKER_01

No, I don't even know if his first name is Dave. But I know for sure that Cruz is not his last name.

SPEAKER_04

Really?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Why?

SPEAKER_01

I don't because Cruz sounds Dave Cruz? Dave Cruz. That's it sounds like he made it up. Shall we ask?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it does sound like he made it up, but it's a really good.

SPEAKER_01

Let's ask him.

SPEAKER_04

It's a really good radio name. I mean, Nate Weaver. I've always been told that it's a great radio name. I didn't make it up.

SPEAKER_01

It is, but that doesn't sound like you made it up. Like Nate Weaver, that sounds like, oh, he was born.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, it's still like an adject.

SPEAKER_01

Wow.

SPEAKER_04

It was only one ring. Ring him again. Do it again.

SPEAKER_01

Do you think it's just one more time?

SPEAKER_04

Just for sometimes it just yeah, because he might be on Do Not Disturbed.

SPEAKER_01

He's gonna text me and be like, stop calling.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, we got a second ring. I told you.

SPEAKER_01

And no text follow-up.

SPEAKER_04

Come on, Dave.

SPEAKER_01

I know he doesn't have plans. It is five o'clock on a Tuesday night.

SPEAKER_04

Well, unless he's like shooting tires or something.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, he could be shooting.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what he does on the weekdays when he's not here.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know what Dave does outside of hanging out with us. Now he's gonna be blocked. So that was the last time we ever heard from Dave Cruz. He'll never be on the podcast again.

SPEAKER_04

He's probably training for Hunks and Hounds.

SPEAKER_01

He's probably training for Hunks and Hounds.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, he's gotta get he's gotta get ripped.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he's gotta do that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's coming up.

SPEAKER_04

It is coming up soon.

SPEAKER_01

It's coming up. Feel adoptables.

SPEAKER_04

I think uh I think usually September or something they released the calendar.

SPEAKER_01

Is that when the calendar is released? I went, oh we I got sick last year, so I didn't go to the launch party, the release party for the calendar. Remember? Oh, I had a sore throat. I distinctly remember how bad I felt. Not because I missed it for my friend, but because of how bad I felt like physically.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, physically?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like I was dying.

SPEAKER_04

Not that you weren't, you know, giving back to the dog community. It was physically that you your throat just hurt.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Okay. Because like I can donate monetarily to the dogs. And I adopted a dog off the street.

SPEAKER_04

So it's not just the dogs, it's the hunks that need the money too.

SPEAKER_01

They need the money. They need it. They need it just as much as the hounds do.

SPEAKER_04

They better be getting paid if they're posting shirtless, you know. That's what I mean.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I think Dave had said, allegedly, that when you work on television and link film sets, you get paid X amount of money if you take your shirt off. Yes. And then an extra X amount of money if you do full. Yes. And no one's ever asked him to do full nude. Yeah. I said, why would that?

SPEAKER_04

Is that a compliment or an insult?

SPEAKER_01

An insult because he's trying to make money. That was him. Let's talk about Summer House. We're heading up to the reunion. Things are happening. Audio's being leaked. We're very close to the situation. And we're close to the atmosphere of Bravo. Like we're close to this.

SPEAKER_04

Agreed. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Me, maybe a little bit more so than you. Sure. Tell me your perspective on the West Amanda Sierra of it all. Tell me your thoughts.

SPEAKER_04

West Playboy right now. Like I get it. Allegedly. Well, okay. Allegedly, but also it's not like we haven't seen him hooking up with girls consistently. It's not like he wasn't he's been open about like he was seeing a girl during the summer and stuff like that. They just showed it on the show this past week, saying him saying, like, oh yeah, I'm seeing this girl consistently out in Kentucky or whatever.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Um, but at the same point, you know, we're at the point where I think the only reason people are upset is because they lied, not because Wes is with Amanda, not because Kyle is acting hurt, not because they disrespected Sierra on X amount of level. I think it's really just people don't like that they lied about it, and that's why they're getting so much heat, and that's just leading into, well, you should have done this, you should have done that, you should have told me this, then, there, they, why? And it's just like, okay, shoulda, coulda, woulda. Like, what do you do now?

SPEAKER_01

Snake in the fucking grass. Snake in the grass. Snake in the grass. That line was awesome. And you know she was, you know, Sierra was thinking about that line before maybe like a when did they know about their the uh relationship? I almost said affair. It feels like an affair, right? Yeah, but it's not keep in mind, it's not an affair. It's not an affair. These were two single consenting adults, but the way the lie, I guess, is why it's icky. And the fact that Amanda and Sierra were such close friends that it's like Right.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, okay, let's keep in mind, but uh in my head though, Sierra stayed away from Wes the whole goddamn summer.

SPEAKER_01

She did. Like she was not scared to be his friend. She said that.

SPEAKER_04

And that's and that's fine. That's your prerogative during that thousand percent. Unfortunately, we saw them make up in this one of these last episodes, and like that looked like they were on a good note and stuff like that. But at the same point, we gotta remember they were just friends when they made up.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, they weren't dating, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

They weren't dating, they're not going together, they're not their special person. No, they're just hanging out, and that's how everybody in that house typically has to be.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because I mean this is not the first season where we've seen a relationship kind of like falter or something happen. It's just the first time that we as fans have taken it so hard. So hard. It's yeah, it's almost difficult to communicate like my feelings about it, and it's also difficult to uh have the conversations with the cast members too, because everyone has an opinion. Everyone has an opinion, but everybody's trying to keep themselves together until the reunion airs. But that's like audio is being leaked left and right, though.

SPEAKER_04

So we still got like I don't know, we still got time, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So um Andy, what what's up? Are you freaking out? He you know he's like sweating every single day. Oh, absolutely. Like just panicked that something else is gonna come out.

SPEAKER_04

There's some extra, extra dry deodorant on those armpits during the reunion, I'm sure.

SPEAKER_01

1000%. Well, allegedly it started eight, no, sorry, six a.m. went till eight p.m.

SPEAKER_04

Holy crap. Well, then you gotta think about it. They're only using what 40 minutes, maybe two 40-minute clips.

SPEAKER_01

Someone put out a thread and they said, at Bravo, Andy, I would pay extra in my peacocks peacock subscription to watch the full unedited reunion. And he said, on it.

SPEAKER_04

That's actually a great idea.

SPEAKER_01

That I would pay for that.

SPEAKER_04

I would too.

SPEAKER_01

I would pay for that in a second.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I think that's a great like up subscription or like just like a one-off, like, oh, pay five dollars. And I I would do that. I would pay five dollars to watch eight hours of this footage.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yeah, yes, no, I I completely agree. So when we're thinking about like the Amanda and Sierra West, and I guess Kyle, I just keep forgetting that Kyle's a part of this, quite frankly, just because Kyle's so Kyle.

SPEAKER_04

True.

SPEAKER_01

And he only worries about Carl. Kyle only cares about Carl.

SPEAKER_04

Carl was a mess, guys. I I just can't get over it. Carl, I hope he's doing well. Carl, if you're out there, I love you, man. I support you. Hope soft bar's going well.

SPEAKER_01

That was really cute. Thanks. He was my friend. He was he was your friend then.

SPEAKER_04

He was my friend. Yeah, I'm sure we'll we'll meet again, Carl. I'm looking at you straight into the camera. I'll see you soon, buddy. Hopefully. Maybe. I don't know. We'll we'll run into each other again at some point. Maybe we'll uh even be able to see the podcast studio again. That'd be cool.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that would be so cool. More life with Carl Redke.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um we're thinking about like that friend group dynamic and then them dating. It's obviously a big problem that Amanda and Sierra were friends, and now Amanda's dating West, Sierra's ex. Is that weird for guys? Is it as territorial for girls in your experience?

SPEAKER_04

Okay, because I wasn't around during the West Sierra period, how tight were they? Were they actually like exclusively dating? Because I've heard rumors that they weren't.

SPEAKER_01

I think they it was I don't know if there was a label on it, but he brought her home. He brought her home to meet his family.

SPEAKER_04

So I don't count that as as tight enough.

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_04

No, I think that is still, especially in a West situation, that's still kind of a fling. Taking a girl home to your parents, like, yes, it can be a big deal, but for some people it's really not.

SPEAKER_01

That's that's true.

SPEAKER_04

It's really not. And they just might think, oh yeah, my parents' house is dope. Like, let's go over there and like have dinner, and you're my really good friend, but we're having sex, so let's go hang out with them.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And stuff like that. I don't think it's that big of a deal. Um, so yeah, no, if if that was happening with a friend and then like three years later they got with somebody else that was they also knew, I guess, it wouldn't be that big of a deal, I don't think.

SPEAKER_01

I I guess I just don't feel like guys get as weirded out by it. Like the fact that Dara was West's girlfriend at one point and now she's dating KJ. It's like, okay, what one, I love them. I love KJ and Dara together, but like West was fine with it.

SPEAKER_04

West didn't care.

SPEAKER_01

He didn't care, but again, the lie. The reason why people are upset is because of the lie.

SPEAKER_04

And also that he called out Jesse at the beginning for like hitting on Sierra being a bed bug. Mm-hmm. That that kind of rubs me the wrong way. But I also will say at that point, we don't know if even West and Sierra were talking at all in any way, shape, or West and Amanda were talking at all in any way, shape, or form. So, like, he might have been focused on Sierra at that time. And he we saw he was focused on Sierra for like the first six weeks. This man was obsessed.

SPEAKER_01

He sat on her, he sat on her, and then he sat on Amanda.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, but it sounds like he did that to Amanda after he knew it was over with Sarah. And it sounded like Sierra made it very clear throughout the whole season she did not want to be with West.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. This is all this is it's messy, and I'm excited to keep watching it. I'm also really excited to see Jesse at the reunion because I feel like he's just gonna have the most outlandish commentary. Like, also, like Jesse Solomon Hyde. This is my public apology to you. Like, I'm sorry, I don't know what I did to you, but I'll take a Pinot Grigio um at the non-alcoholic softbar bar. Um, we got off on the wrong foot, me and Jesse. So I'm really no pun intended. No pun intended. I'm trying to get past all of that, and I just want us to be friendly and social settings. So that's it.

SPEAKER_04

So get us all star.

SPEAKER_01

Falling in love.

SPEAKER_04

There it is. Right in a song feeling good, like I'm supposed to be, right? Something like that. It's good.

SPEAKER_01

It's good. It's catchy.

SPEAKER_04

And he just had his first show in Philly the other day.

SPEAKER_01

He did have his first show in Philly. It was weird seeing like high school friends be at this show, and I was like, Yeah. What? Where was it? The Met, maybe?

SPEAKER_04

It was either that or I don't think probably TLA.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, TLA. I thought maybe City Winery.

SPEAKER_04

It could be City Winery. It was a smaller venue like that. Yes, we have. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Where where were we?

SPEAKER_04

For uh the uh social media masters awards back in like 2024.

SPEAKER_01

Renew was there. Yeah. And the chicken wasn't cooked.

SPEAKER_04

The chicken wasn't cooked.

SPEAKER_01

I remember that, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And I lost to Travis and Donna Kelsey.

SPEAKER_01

Imagine being up for an award, and then you see it's the cows.

SPEAKER_04

You see, you see when we when we were nominated for the award, we could see the brands and companies that were nominated, not the actual like campaigns. So I walked in there, I'm like, okay, I'm up against Airmark. There's a very small chance that I win because it's freaking Airmark. Then I found out that Airmark spent the money to have Travis Kelsey and Donna Kelsey bake cookies for this campaign, and I just sat, there was no way. I mean, it's like I don't I I don't even know what to compare it to. I I just got run over by a train, basically, and they were the train. It was the Kelsey Choo-Choo train.

SPEAKER_01

Speaking of that, do you know when people say, like, oh, got hit by a Mac truck? You know that Mac trucks are like real trucks.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I thought Mac was just makeup, but I didn't know they made trucks. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

You remember uh cars? Uh the big truck is literally named Mac.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04

They name them Mac.

SPEAKER_01

See, I don't remember movies like that vividly.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, I love Hercules.

SPEAKER_01

I remember Herbie Fully Loaded. That was a car movie. That one you remember? Yeah, with Lindsay Lohan? Yeah. You've seen it?

SPEAKER_04

Yes, I've seen Herbie. I've seen the old Herbys too. I I didn't know there were multiple. Herbie the Love Bug. It was like they started back in like the 70s.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, really? No, had no idea. I thought Lindsay Lohan created it.

SPEAKER_04

Definitely.

SPEAKER_01

Just like she did pop culture.

SPEAKER_04

No, no, she was like probably the 10th Herbie movie.

SPEAKER_01

Really?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What else was I did I watch as a kid? Stuart Little. I watched that. Why'd they adopt they adopted him as if he were like a real kid? And then the whole movie no one ever says like he's he's a mouse or brat or whatever it is. Yeah, that freaked me out of the kid. I didn't like that.

SPEAKER_04

So you didn't like that people just weren't recognizing he was a mouse?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Okay. Like you need to recognize that he's uh he's not a human.

SPEAKER_04

He wasn't, you're right. And they were flicking him all over the place and stuff, too.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So I mean, that's sort of child abuse.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. You think about it, it's not a great film, really deep down.

SPEAKER_04

When you break it down into the literal meanings of everything we're talking about with inside Storyt Little, they're just abusing a a child or a mouse.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's like Tom and Jerry. Did you watch Tom and Jerry as well? Of course I did. I felt terrified for Jerry all the time.

SPEAKER_04

Really?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Because I was like, Tom is so mean.

SPEAKER_04

Tom was mean.

SPEAKER_01

Tom was so mean.

SPEAKER_04

That was the point though, yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And there is now looking back, I actually saw a TikTok the other day and they didn't have sound in Tom and Jerry.

SPEAKER_04

They have music.

SPEAKER_01

Just music. I thought there was a storyline as a kid, but I guess there is, but just not verbal. And in my head, I thought they had voices.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no, it was uh it's all like physical comedy, uh, reactionary comedy, and they do use they'll use the music to have like thuds in them almost, so that like if they hit a wall, you can hear it, you can see it hit the wall and hear the wall hit, but it's part of the music. Yeah, it's so interesting. Yeah, but uh they they do that because uh it was originally like black and white, and you used to have to record an orchestra over the uh the flip book for the cartoon.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, look at this, guys. We're getting a history lesson.

SPEAKER_04

It's like yeah, that's how they the first movies and like TV shows and stuff, when you would go to the theaters, they'd have actual live like musicians playing there because they didn't have recordings back then of like like high-quality recordings.

SPEAKER_01

You love movies and cinema.

SPEAKER_04

I do, and the only reason I know that is because they're starting to do like like the Marvel movies, Titanic stores. You told me this. You yes, I feel like we've had this conversation on the Philadelphia Orchestra will literally play like the music to these big, big movies that are world-renowned for their music and for their soundtrack. They'll play like the Philadelphia Orchestra will play live with the movie over it, like at the Camel Center.

SPEAKER_01

Damn, I saw that they did, was it about a year and a half ago, they did a candlelight um experience Philadelphia Orchestra, and it was all Taylor Swift. No way. Yeah, and it was I think it had to be a candlelight dinner or something. But yeah, and it was all Taylor Swift, and I heard enchanted from it, and it was like really killer. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, the Philadelphia Orchestra is one of the best, too. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They really in terms of or the the words, in terms of orchestras. Um also I'm on a diet diet? No, I'm on a Dr. Pepper kick these days. We can't keep it in stock fast enough at the house.

SPEAKER_04

No, yeah, we get like the six-pack of the mini cans, and you make your dirty sodas like once a day.

SPEAKER_01

I love a dirty soda. We got our friends into them too. Everyone seemed to like them.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, we gotta bring Swig up here. Swig has to make its way.

SPEAKER_01

I'm trying to uh get more soda shops just to come up here, even if it's not Swig. And I was telling you earlier, there's one in Delaware that opens. So there's one in Delaware in North Wilmington. We're coming for you. We will be there. And then we're gonna like try to get him as a sponsor on the pod as well.

SPEAKER_04

I would love that.

SPEAKER_01

Speaking of, okay, so I wasn't gonna talk about it, but we're gonna talk about it. We're gonna talk about the criminals. The criminals.

SPEAKER_04

The criminals.

SPEAKER_01

I uh I I made a friend. And uh I he's he's not from here. He's he's not from here. He's not from here. We met online.

SPEAKER_04

He lives in Canada, I swear you don't know him.

SPEAKER_01

We thought we were gonna do some business together. And I had a couple meetings, just like preliminary meetings. I see some products, some brand samples, things like that, and I think, okay, like he's him and his team, they've got something here. They've got something here. And I thought, what's his last name? Have his phone number, have his email, and there's no last name. So I think, alright, I'm gonna reverse search with a number to find it. No, not listed. Not listed it anywhere. So I say, okay, what do I know about this person? How can I figure this out? Now it's a challenge. Now I just gotta figure it out. It took a half hour or so. Did some digging. I found his name. Brought it to my husband, sweet dear name, and I say, This is the person I'm gonna go into business with. Nate, do you do you wanna say what he did?

SPEAKER_04

Oh, you defrauded the United States government.

SPEAKER_01

Out of millions and millions and millions of dollars, not just once.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But twice.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Twice.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. We couldn't find any conviction or anything like that. More than likely there was a plea deal.

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_04

But uh that is that is true. We found all of the uh the whole United States versus insert name name here, um, and the opinion from the actual district judge who tried the case and was going through it. So it's a real thing.

SPEAKER_01

A real thing. And I'm a little disappointed because it there is money signs in my eyes from from these conversations. But leave it to me, right? Were you surprised by this?

SPEAKER_04

You know, when I dug deeper into it, this was like 30, 35 years ago that this happened.

SPEAKER_01

And in and in 2013, too.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, I didn't see that one. Oh, see you might have you might have withheld some information from me now.

SPEAKER_01

My dad found that one.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, that yeah, then you withheld some information. I only knew about the one in the 90s. So uh yeah, no, that ain't that ain't a that ain't a positive reflection on the man. I'll say that.

SPEAKER_01

No, but so you weren't surprised that I brought uh white collar criminal to our to our plate and said, huh, what do you think?

SPEAKER_04

I mean now in today's world, I I've I've realized that like once you get to a certain Height, the only people you can commit crime against is typically either the consumer that you're selling to or the government.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Because you have to either slide past their rules or screw over your customer to get like really in trouble legally, kind of thing. So no, but also, yeah, I was very yeah. The why why the how did how did this man even come to be?

SPEAKER_01

It was on a no, it was on a freelance website.

SPEAKER_04

Oh shit, that's right. Yeah, no.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was so random. I'm I'm glad that I did the due diligence after, after, you know, spending hours and hours and creating pitch decks and things like that. But I'm glad that I did it because who, God, who knows? What could have happened? I could have been involved in a massive scheme, like against the government, maybe. And you know how scared I am of the government.

SPEAKER_04

You're very scared of the government. Terrified.

SPEAKER_01

I would I would not fuck with the government. That's like the one person entity that you don't want to mess with.

SPEAKER_04

No, there's no point to. No, absolutely not. Don't fight them.

SPEAKER_01

Also, I have a very strict theory that if you're a thief, you steal money. If you steal money from someone, anyone, then I think you're gonna steal money from me.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Yeah, because if you have if that moral code that you're able to steal and you don't feel remorse from it, you're gonna do it.

SPEAKER_01

You're gonna do it to me. I get that. I learned that the hard way. Uh was it last? Was last year yacht year?

SPEAKER_04

Oh, yeah, last year.

SPEAKER_01

Last year was yacht year, and yacht year cost me a lot of fucking money. Yeah, it did. And a lot of people that I will never work with ever again.

SPEAKER_04

Money together.

SPEAKER_01

From the crux of you stole from me.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You stole from me.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Me.

SPEAKER_04

And that's something you just don't get over. Especially when you're doing a partnership.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. Um, okay, so I want to talk about the fact that we're going to Palm Beach.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Going to Palm Beach. Gonna be fun. Today I find out I'm going to Palm Beach for a wedding. Nate and I are going down to one of my best friend's weddings, and my other best friend, who happens to be my neighbor, we know we love her, Ocean. Hi, Ocean. Ocean texted me this morning and she says, Bestie, I don't want you to be worried about me because we have each other's locations. She goes, I don't want you to be worried about me. I'm gonna be in Florida the next couple days. And I was like, Okay, where? She sends me her flight information. She's on my flight there and back. There and back. So now I told her, I said, I feel so much better about flying now because what are the odds that God's gonna strike down a plane with two pretty girls on it? Oh dear God. You know? What are the odds?

SPEAKER_04

So that's the stipulation we're working off of.

SPEAKER_01

That's that's what I'm working off of in this environment. Um, are you excited to like go to the airport with friends?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, for sure. Yes. Uh the more the merrier. Uh definitely gonna have a couple of drinks before we get on our 11 a.m. flight because 1140, yeah. Screw that. Yeah, we can we can take naps in the the the hotel later.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Because we got the whole what we're doing parents' night out tomorrow. We don't have children, we have dogs.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and so we did put it in our calendar as piano.

SPEAKER_04

Piano.

SPEAKER_01

It's parents' night out.

SPEAKER_04

Parents' night out. We're very excited. Because with what my uh my crazy work schedule and not being able to be here, we have to have some time to ourselves.

SPEAKER_01

I know it has been so different. Recording here and being here, and you're not here to interject or say, Taylor, stop talking about George Bush and 9-11. Like it's people don't care about rocket fuel melting steel beams. They they just don't, okay? And I wish they fucking did. Um, it's also been a whirlwind being on other people's shows. So I notably do not really go on other podcasts, not because I don't have interest in it, but because I'm if I'm friends with someone that has a podcast and they're like mental health or fitness and wellness and other things that aren't girlhood and we hate everything and men included, then I don't go on the show because I don't want to give them like a a weird vibe. It doesn't fit their audience. But we've had two podcasts that I said, you know what? If their Westchester Studios approved, their Taylor Brooke approved too. And we we yeah, you went to both of them. Oh no, you went to one.

SPEAKER_04

I went to one.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, uh at the table, on the table, with the table. Yeah, with Christian Greco.

SPEAKER_04

Delicious, by the way. Market Street Grill was phenomenal. Um so good. Yeah, I don't think they got a picture of my food. They got a picture of both of your guys' food.

SPEAKER_01

And what did you have?

SPEAKER_04

I had I can't remember what he calls it, but he does have a special name for it. But it was an omelette with bacon and cheese, and then on top of it was like a beef or pork gravy.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yum.

SPEAKER_04

Right, on top of it, and then hash browns, and I think there was another side with it, but holy crap. Number one, it was huge.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And number two, it was delicious.

SPEAKER_01

I know.

SPEAKER_04

That thing filled me up so quick.

SPEAKER_01

Everything was so good. So good. And all the art was for sale.

SPEAKER_04

Uh it was done, at least done by one of his friends. Like he bought Oh, gotcha. Yeah, but it was a very it was a local artist.

SPEAKER_01

I loved that.

SPEAKER_04

A lot of it was Philly, uh, Philly-based, sports-based, or uh, I saw a good bit of Marvel stuff in there too. He just had I love this. He had just had a random Iron Man like statue or uh figurine standing up on like the corner somewhere. And he's like, Yeah, nobody notices that. I'm surprised you did. I was like, it's one of the first things that I saw walking in, man. That was wild. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It was cool. I have never I had never been to Market Street Girl before, which is wild considering I'm a native of this land here. I'm a native of the land of Westchester. But yeah, I just had never been in there before. The vibe was so good. Um, it was dark, so I don't think I like saw all of it in the light, really. Um just because of filming, like there were light, like these sorts of lights. It's not like Christian invited us to eat dinner in the dark. I should have like prefaced to that.

SPEAKER_03

Dinner in the dark.

SPEAKER_01

Dinner in the dark with Christian Greco.

SPEAKER_03

That would be wild.

SPEAKER_01

He texts you and he's like, Yes, I'm thinking of making an OnlyFans. He's gonna send me the cease and desist for the podcast.

SPEAKER_04

Christian, if you're looking for, I I can I can help with the planning. All right. Anything else past that, I'm gonna I'm gonna remove myself from that. But good luck.

SPEAKER_01

I love it. And then three girls went office. Three girls went off. They came in and did their show. They're wild women, and I love it. Like, they're the friend group that I want to have when I'm their age. Okay. They're going on a trip, and the one woman, so three best friends, the one woman's birthday is coming up, and they're planning a trip, and it's a secret trip, and she doesn't know about it.

SPEAKER_04

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

Isn't that awesome?

SPEAKER_04

So they she doesn't know where she's going.

SPEAKER_01

Doesn't know where she's going, doesn't really know what to pack.

SPEAKER_04

And they're friends do though, right?

SPEAKER_01

Her friends do. Wow. And they're like, we're just taking her away for her birthday. How fun.

SPEAKER_04

That's scary as hell. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

See, I would like to be the planner of like, I would totally do this for one of my friends. If one of my friends was like, we're doing this for you. I would be like, okay, you're blocked.

SPEAKER_04

You're blocked.

SPEAKER_01

You're blocked.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you do like to know plans. You don't like to be surprised by anything. You were you planned your whole entire bachelorette party.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And I was the opposite. I had everybody else plan it, and I said, I'm just gonna, I'm just along for the ride.

SPEAKER_01

Let's let's be clear. I planned my whole bachelorette party and everybody fought the whole time, cried, no one left friends, and yeah, it was a lot. So even though I planned it, it wasn't like the best weekend ever. You had the best weekend ever.

SPEAKER_04

Because I didn't plan it.

SPEAKER_01

No, I mean half of the time I was just like, it was me and Rainier.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We were just like running away. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Uh yeah. But we we did uh a couple of beer hauls, we went to the Grand Ole Opry, we went to Dick's Last Resort on Broadway, and outside of that, we drank and listened to music, and it was one of the best weekends of my life.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

For sure.

SPEAKER_01

See, I I did have a good time. I shouldn't say I didn't have a good time. I had a great time. I just could have done without like everybody fighting and arguing. But that's also girls, I feel like.

SPEAKER_04

Probably. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

We were more worried about like just making sure everybody had a place to sleep.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. The easiest, breeziest person was my sister-in-law at my bachelorette party. Oh my gosh. She was like, I'm gonna take the couch. We were like, girl, no, like sleep in a bed. And she was like, This is where I will hyper hibernate. And then she would just lift her head off off the couch, not ready, not dressed or anything, and be like, We're going out. Okay, give me five minutes. And she would be ready and rallied. We're like, What?

SPEAKER_04

She killed it.

SPEAKER_01

She did, she just slept all day.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, she just slept all.

SPEAKER_01

She slept all day, stayed up all night.

SPEAKER_04

And didn't care that people were walking around. Like she slept through people talking.

SPEAKER_01

She was like, I need to sleep here because I'm the only one that can handle it. And I was like, Really, like, girl, sleep with me. I'm like, I don't care. Yeah. No?

SPEAKER_04

No.

SPEAKER_01

It's like okay.

SPEAKER_04

She said, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm an independent, strong woman.

SPEAKER_01

I'm a woman in STEM. Yes, is what she said.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, you are.

SPEAKER_01

I love telling her that. Yeah. Like you're a woman in STEM. She's a woman in STEM. I'm a woman in the arts. And then my other sister-in-law is just a woman, you know, she does it all. So, okay, so this is a little PSA for my listeners. On my holistic journey of health, of which I've been on for the past eh, three, four months with my sister. She's the Reiki master, the shaman, holistic doctor. So she makes all of these. I used to call them potions, but they're not potions. They're I think potions just sound funky. They're just like soaps and makeups and elixirs. Elixirs and things like that. I will link it here so you guys can check out her Etsy shop. I've gotten the prosperity soap, and this sounds nutty. Okay. And I know how this sounds in real life. She gives me the prosperity soap and she gives me a crystal and like some like just words to live by, like some affirmations. I've signed three deals since she's given that to me and since I've used it.

SPEAKER_00

Really?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Collectively, you signed a deal, I signed a deal, and then I signed a bunch for that event that we're doing. And that was like in a week. I started using the soap.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. It's only been like a week, hasn't it?

SPEAKER_01

And it's called Prosperity Soap. And I just genuinely think that there is something to it. Not saying that like I didn't before, but I truly believe in it now. So no, I'm telling everybody, prosperity soap just it smells amazing. Yeah. It's a cute little packaging. And even if she wasn't my sister, I would buy it. And trust me, sometimes we fight and I don't want to buy it, but I still do.

SPEAKER_04

And I will say, sometimes the difference between like signing that client during during the meeting, at least signing that client and not is just a little bit of confidence. Yeah. And even if it's just bringing you the confidence, that's a win in itself, right? Totally a win.

SPEAKER_01

I so much so that we're running out of prosperity soap. And I text I texted her last Friday night when we were out and about and I was like, can you please bring soap over? And she was like, is that a keyword? It's like no. No. Like, for what? For drugs. For drugs. For drugs. Because yeah, it would be like, hey, Lexi, can you bring drugs to my house? Absolutely not.

SPEAKER_04

It's for the next time Dave Cruz is on the podcast.

SPEAKER_01

It's for the next time that Dave Cruz is on the podcast. Yeah, we so I didn't tell you this. When we were out on Friday night, Dave Cruz texted me.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And he was like, hey, I'm uh doing this event at your near your neck of the woods tomorrow.

SPEAKER_02

Cool.

SPEAKER_01

And I was like, oh, I'm out tonight. Like me. I'm not going out two nights in a row. Then he sent a message. I'm already drunk. He says, 10 p.m. tomorrow, the Kenneth Creamery.

SPEAKER_04

I said, thumbs up.

SPEAKER_01

Totally forgot. 10 o'clock comes on Saturday night and he sends me a picture of him and his buddies.

SPEAKER_04

At the creamery?

SPEAKER_01

And I was like, and I didn't respond. It's all the next morning. It was like lol. I didn't even know that. This is becoming a Dave Cruz themed episode, but I was at coffee with my bestie. Bestie, you know who you are. We were at coffee, and I get a text from Dave in the middle of coffee, and it's like You're coming through my do not disturb. What do you want? So I push my phone aside, I forget about it. I'm about to get up from coffee and I'm like, let me check my phone. Dave says, Hey, my friends are seated behind you at the coffee shop. He names a coffee shop.

SPEAKER_02

Stop.

SPEAKER_01

I say, so I turn around and I'm like, hey, Dave's friends. And they were like, hi, we we didn't want to just like come up to you and like freak you out. And I was like, this freaks me out more that Dave texted me and you guys were sitting behind me this whole time. And they were like, Well, you didn't know if you would notice who we were. I was like, How the fuck was I supposed to know who you were? I don't know you. You know Dave.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, who were they?

SPEAKER_01

And what radio people and a six ABC guy. Oh, oh, okay. So, like in our field and everything, and they were so nice. And then we ended up chatting. We were having sharing radio horror stories, as people in our field do. Um, and my other friend that was there, she worked in radio as well. So, like, we just all had shit to talk about. And then I left and I was like, Why do you guys hang out with Dave? You guys are so cool.

unknown

What?

SPEAKER_01

Or Dave? They were like, I don't know. Like, we've been friends for a while, and I was kidding, but it was like very sarcastic. And I was like, I wonder if they're gonna go back to Dave and be like, she really doesn't like you. No, no. And he's gonna be like, I know.

SPEAKER_04

We love Dave. We love Dave. There are only so many men allowed on this show, and he's consistent. That is so true. It's very true.

SPEAKER_01

Well, three girls went office. They did ask me, they said, Dave Cruz, that's the gay one, right? And I said, mm-hmm. He's not the one. Yeah, he's the gay one. They were talking about David, but I was like, mm-hmm. Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, gay David.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but now it's a gay Dave Cruz. He might have more luck in that department. He, so we were all hanging out a couple weeks ago in my basement. And were you there when I was tindering on his phone or hinging?

SPEAKER_04

Oh, wait, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I sat there and I swiped on only the unfavorable matches.

SPEAKER_04

Gotcha, gotcha.

SPEAKER_01

Only the ones that had like six kids and didn't look like Dave's type at all.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Um, I was looking, I was trying to change more kids than teeth kind of thing.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I was I was trying to change the demographics to men. And Dave kept going, give me back my phone, Taylor. Give me back my phone. And I was like, Dave, shut up. Stop trying to get your phone back from me. I'm working. I'm working. Um, so I haven't like touched base on that.

SPEAKER_04

And tell me, while you were on there, did you notice whether or not it's premium?

SPEAKER_01

I how could I? I don't know how to tell.

SPEAKER_04

Uh well, you just don't run out of swipes.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't run out of swipes.

SPEAKER_04

Oh. Dave, you paying for Tinder premium, bro?

SPEAKER_01

He has a uh a uh sponsorship for me.

SPEAKER_04

He's gotten into use my affiliate link. I'll never be off this bad boy.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, that's actually brilliant for like bachelors like Dave. That would be easy money.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, screw hinge. I'm going Tinder because I'm a lifer.

SPEAKER_01

I'm a lifer. That's what they used to call people at my school. Like my elementary and like middle and high school. Like if you were there for a long time, they would call you a lifer.

SPEAKER_04

That's what they call the 45-year-old dudes still playing minor league baseball.

SPEAKER_01

They call them lifers.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, because they probably made it to like one, two MLB games, you know, the show.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, okay. I have a baseball story about class too. One girl in my class, she works for a baseball team or ontier. I try like not to give too much information about my students.

SPEAKER_04

The Lancaster Barnstormers.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, so I brought up the Lancaster Barnstormers.

SPEAKER_04

No way.

SPEAKER_01

And she was like, oh, yeah, I don't want to work for them. What? I was like, no way. I was like, yeah, I had a weird experience at the game. So like I didn't, like, I it was hot. Remember how hot that game was? Well, yeah. That's the only thing I could remember was it being blazing. Yeah. And then that man that was like standing on top of the dugouts. Yeah. Yeah. That was weird for me.

SPEAKER_04

Well, I will say they are in national news lately. The links to Barnstorm.

SPEAKER_01

Because of Brady?

SPEAKER_04

No, I wish. No, because some guy that like literally got blackballed from the MLB signed with one of these minor league independent teams and threw a no-hitter against them the other night. He used to be a Los Angeles Dodger. Like this man is But the Dodgers aren't good. The Dodgers just won the World Series last year.

SPEAKER_01

They're New York, aren't they?

SPEAKER_04

They're LA.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, never mind.

SPEAKER_04

They used to be in Brooklyn. But that's like Jackie Robinson 1950s era.

SPEAKER_01

That was my past to life. I think that's where I was.

SPEAKER_04

You probably knew Jackie back then. I would say I could see you being a Jackie Robinson fan.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. No, I think I was Jackie.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, you think you were Jackie? Yeah. Jackie Robinson.

SPEAKER_01

I think so.

SPEAKER_04

The big black man.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Number 42?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I I can't. I I happy wife, happy life.

SPEAKER_01

On that note, from me and all team Robinson. From me and Jackie Robinson, I just want to say thank you so much for listening to the Taylor, Taylor, Taylor show. Um happy to be here. Happy to podcast with my husband. Now you guys know he's alive and well and still wants to be a part of the show. Anything to the listeners, Nate?

SPEAKER_04

I missed you guys, and I'm glad to be back, and you'll be seeing more of me around, I'm sure. But you know, love you.

SPEAKER_01

Only if I let him.

SPEAKER_04

OnlyFans.

SPEAKER_01

Bye.

unknown

Welcome.
