Okay. Hello. Hi. We're back. Susanna and Tina, and we have with us a special guest, Wayne, who um I have known since high school. And we lost touch after high school and then kind of reconnected through Facebook. And in that time, he founded his own paranormal investigative group. And we kind of reconnected through Facebook. And a year and a half ago, my friends and I went on one of his um investigations at Benson Grist Mill out in Twilla. And ever since then, I have been wanting to get him to tell us some of his ghost stories. And so he has very kindly agreed to sit down with us today and tell us some of his stories. But I wanted to ask him some introductory questions first. So I will say, first of all, say hi, Tina. Hello. Say hi, Wayne.

And so the first question I wanted to ask, because I think Wayne has some uh supernatural, well, spiritual gifts, I'll say. Um and I kind of wanted to have him tell us about that first. So what do what are your abilities and how would you classify yourself?

SPEAKER_01 2:01

Classify myself as a human, first of all. Just kidding, no. Um abilities. Well, there are different types of abilities out there. Um, you got your impasse, you got your um clairvoyance, different types of clairvoyance, those who can hear, see, and and talk. Um my abilities started out as being able to sense, being able to feel. Uh and I think I I think I knew I had more abilities, but they were kind of closed off at the time. Uh, and they didn't come available or didn't come to me until later in life. Uh growing up, I always felt like I could sense something in my home. And um, but back then, you know, you didn't really tell anybody because it was taboo. Uh, but since then, I would say that since opening myself up, I'm able to see and hear. Um, I can talk once in a while to them, uh, but more I can see and and and feel their energy there.

Do you think it's more like for your own benefit? Like, can you read for somebody else or get information for somebody else?

SPEAKER_01 3:15

Or no, I'm not Whoopi Goldberg, you know. I mean, ghost kind of made it so people feel like or seem like that's what clairvoyance can do. Um, I know that we do have a on our team, we do have a psychic medium. Um, she's based out in New York, and she has some of those abilities. Uh a lot, she and I talk um quite often and about uh past investigations, or if we have a current, or if we have an upcoming investigation, I'll reach out to her. Uh but for me, no, um, I've been asked that many a times, like, you know, can you get a message from my loved one where my keys are or where this letter is, or and I'm like, no, that's that's not my ability.

So yeah, and I was thinking more along the lines of you are in, you know, you come in contact with somebody and you have an overwhelming feeling about something for them, or you hear a voice that says they, you know, you get a little not not that they're necessarily seeking it, but but somebody's communicating through you.

No, I can't I can't do that one, but I can usually pick up on their energy like um I can tell if something's going or something's going on in their life. But as far as like someone saying, hey, give them this message. No, no.

So you said you were pretty young. How old were you when you first kind of realized that you had these gifts?

SPEAKER_01 4:50

Uh I was probably, let's see, here, because we were being babysabbed, and I was eight years old then, because my sister was four, so eight years old is when I first had my first experience. And after that, I kind of started hearing things and feeling things.

And what happened that was the catalyst for that? Do you remember?

SPEAKER_01 5:12

So it was late at night and it was bedtime, of course, for eight-year-olds. And the babysitter at the time was like, okay, let's go, let's get you guys ready for bed. And and at the time we lived in a two-story house, and as we were going upstairs, um, our basement was unfinished. Um, we've since sold the house, and so we had wooden stairs. And as we were going upstairs, we heard footsteps coming from the basement up to the first level.

And I mean, they were heavy, so like everybody heard them, even the babysitter.

Even the babysitter heard it. We all ran upstairs into my parents' room, locked the door, and you could hear the cupboards opening up and closing. So we thought someone had broken in the house.

Were you like on the landline, calling the police? Right.

SPEAKER_01 6:04

On the landline, we she called her dad because they only lived two houses down. So I remember he showed up with his Elmer Fudd hat on and his shotgun, and he went through the house and windows were closed, there was nothing in there, like there was no one in there. He's like, windows are closed, doors were locked. So he was like, How did you hear these footsteps? So then at that time, I was like, Okay. I'm like, Ghost? I'm like, Yeah, right. And so a couple years later, um, when I was old enough to babysit, me and my sister alone, we were watching a movie and I heard the same footsteps, but this time they were coming up the carpeted stairs. And I remember calling my mom and dad saying, Hey, there's someone in the house, like I can hear them legit coming up the stairs. And they're like, Oh no, you're like you're watching a scary movie, turn it off. I'm like, no, I can legit hear it.

And um and your sister could hear it too?

SPEAKER_01 7:08

She could, and we just we we begged and pleaded with them, and they just said, no, it's there's no such thing as ghosts, and there's no one in the house. And it wasn't until years later, um, and I mean years later in my 20s that we were at dinner and we were talking about, we were kind of reminiscing kind of like some of the ghost stories. And we remember my mom was sitting there, and my sister's like, Hey mom, do you remember I used to tell you that there used to be an old man that would sit in the rocking chair and watch me sleep? And I just got goosebumps when she had said that. And I went, I wonder if it's the same person or the same thing that we heard as little kids. And so my that was the first time I ever heard my sister actually acknowledge that she actually saw something or saw.

So wait, had you from the time that you were watching the scary movie and they wouldn't come home until your 20s, did you not have another experience in the house?

SPEAKER_01 8:10

Once in a while I I would feel something, I would hear something, but not why I did with the but your sister was seeing somebody all this time. She was seeing this person all the time, and and and I didn't know anything about her.

So, does she have these sensibilities too, or do you feel like there was just something in that house that was really strong?

SPEAKER_01 8:27

I think something was in the house very strong, really strong. Um without going into like personal details, there was a lot going on at my my home and in my uh growing up, but um and then I will I'll allude into this um because I always talk about this when I'm investigating when I'm doing investigation at a private residential. Um, my mom had always taught me about Ouija boards and how evil they are, and she had played with one when she was a younger kid. And my belief about Ouija boards is they're a gateway to the other side. And even though it may not happen two or three days after you've played it, it's waiting for that. You've opened the door, you've opened the door and it's waiting for that opportunity to present itself. And with what was going on at my home at the time, it presented itself. It said, okay, I'm ready to come through the door. Here I am. And so, but I don't think my sister has abilities. Um, because every time that I've talked about some of my investigations, um, she kind of just blows it off and and just says, uh, there's no such thing. And I'm like, well, remember you saw this old man sitting staring at you in the rocking chair and we'll just watch you sleep. I'm like, so what was that all about? But yeah, I uh um either I blocked it out or I just can't remember.

So why do you think you have these gifts? Do you think that you inherited it? Do you think that I mean I I don't know the answer to this. I don't know why some of the things are.

SPEAKER_01 10:16

These are passed down through generations, but because I'm adopted, I have no clue. Um why do I think I have these? So my team and I had gone to dinner at a at a pizzeria at Magna that no longer exists, it's known as pizzeria. Uh we'd gone there because our awesome friend Zach Bagans from Ghost Adventures had gone there and he had right, and he had investigated that, and and that's kind of where we were directed to. And I became really good friends with the owner, and uh, you know, and he knew exactly what our team did, and and so we kind of just were really good, close friends. And I remember we were there one night having dinner as a team, and he said, It's closing time. If you guys want to stick around, I'll let you come down in the basement and kind of show you around, and we can kind of do a little investigation at the time. And I remember going down in there, and I just remember getting a very sick, nauseous feeling. And I'm like, I like whoa, I'm like, what is this happening? What's going on? And I remember we went to this opening into this um room, and I just remember staring at it, and I'm like, just staring, and everybody's out doing their own thing, and I'm just staring at this room. And um, one of the team members comes up and says, Hey, let's go in the other room where everyone else is, and I said, Okay, well, as I got ready to turn around, it literally felt like somebody had come up behind me and put their arms around me to grab me to pull me in into that room, and I stopped.

Not like a hug, but like a like a I'm pulling you in here.

Yeah, yeah. It was it, and I stopped because I got cold, and I started feeling like okay, I'm feeling the same feelings I felt back when I was eight years old and ten years old or eleven years old, and I'm like, I'm feeling these feelings again. And I started walking towards where everybody was, but then I got directed towards a wall, and I just started staring at the wall, and this ungodly thing stood up in front of me, and I wish I could find the picture, but I had one of the team members draw a picture for me of what I saw, but it was about 10 foot, had long arms, long fingernails, had red eyes, had like a wolf-looking face, and it had me paralyzed. Like I was literally paralyzed, and I don't know how long I was standing there because the next thing I know, I was upstairs being smudged by the owner's wife. And they're like, I'm like, what happened? Like, you were like in a trance, like we were yelling at you, and you were just standing there, not even acknowledging us. And I told them what had happened, and um they said, We've never seen that, and I remembered a curse that I had been given back in when I was 19, between 19 and 21. I had been cursed down in the south. I lived, I lived down in the south for a couple years, and we ran across a black um prophet or priestess, and she cursed me. And I didn't believe it at the time. And uh, but you hear the stories about Louisiana and all the voodoo stuff that happens down there, and right, and I didn't believe it. Well, now I believed at that time. Um back when Conjuring, the first Conjuring movie came out, I went and saw it, and I remember ratting raving about that. And I had a friend at the time, and and she's still here, and she's also psychic medium here in the state of Utah, and she sends me a message through Facebook saying, I need to talk to you. And I'm like, Who are you? I'm like, okay, I'm like, Weirdo, what do you want to talk about? It's like what you're doing is gonna get you in trouble. I said, What do you mean what I'm doing? It's like you're paranormal stuff.

Like she found your Google's page and messaged you through that?

SPEAKER_01 14:41

No, she actually, it was my personal page. Oh, and she goes, and I'm gonna tell you how legit I am. And she goes, I'm taking, I'm writing down some notes and I want to send them to your phone. I said, Okay. And she wrote down some personal things about my mom. And when she sent it to me, I was like, How did you know this? How did you know this? How did you know this? I'm like, Alright, you're legit. And she says, You have these abilities that you've closed off. So he goes, You open them up, you need to be ready for what's gonna happen. And she goes, It's not something you toy with. And so I I looked into it and I opened myself up, and so when I was gates, opened up the floodgates, and I'll tell you what, it it's it's a curse and a blessing at times.

How often do you feel like you have stuff happen? Is it like all the time like a faucet?

SPEAKER_01 15:37

Or I I've gotta be in a in a place that has energy going on already.

SPEAKER_02 15:43

Um so you don't just wake up in the morning and and feel something.

SPEAKER_01 15:47

No, no, I I mean I do there are times that I can I can wake up and I'm like, okay, there's something here. Or I wake up in the you know, like at middle night between midnight and three o'clock, and I and I either I see something in the corner of my eye, like what was that? Or I'll hear something or I'll smell something. And so yeah, it's not like a faucet where I can just turn on and off and or where it just comes to me all the time. Um, sometimes I'll purposely walk to a building, put my hand on there, see if I can read the energy, especially like on old buildings that we go investigate. I want to see what kind of energy I'm I'm we're getting ourselves into. And sometimes I'll have dreams about our investigation prior to the the night of. And so that's why I kind of get a hold of my psychic media back in New York. I'm like, okay, I'm starting to have dreams. Let's talk.

So um do they play out the way you see them?

SPEAKER_01 16:40

Uh Benson Chris Mill was one of them, the one that you guys attended. Um there was one up at we did up at the uh Copperton Cemetery. Yes, you can stay at the cemetery that you've investigated at. They went to Copper, they went to Copperton Cemetery. I believe it's in episode three. They talk about this.

So and they went to Salt Lake City Cemetery.

And uh, yes, you can go investigate that.

Oh, yeah, the Copperton Cemetery, do not mess with it.

SPEAKER_01 17:11

Yeah, so but but yeah, um we had we and and she does remote viewing too. So I'll call her up and we'll video chat while we're doing the investigation, and she'll do some re remote viewing with us. Um, and it's it's really awesome and amazing. But yeah, so I will get a hold of her and we will collaborate and exchange notes um and compare, and then the night of we will just see if it plays out as I've dreamt it and as she has seen it.

So at that pizzeria you went to in Magna, they the owners were used to ghost stuff happening all the time. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 17:49

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02 17:49

So they have their I mean they I mean they have I'm obviously you're being smudged. I mean, they're used to cleansing people all the time, and they're like, okay, we're going, it's another day at work. What demonic thing is gonna happen today?

SPEAKER_01 18:02

Yeah, yeah, so they're very aware of it. Um he has his own paranormal group too. Um they're based, they're out in Twila now. Um, but yeah, so they're very aware she's a medium. Um, their daughter is also a medium, and uh yeah, they're they're really great and amazing, but yeah, so that's how come they knew exactly what to do. So I was grateful that they were there.

So that was, and like you you said that was your first time pretty much?

SPEAKER_01 18:31

Pretty much seen pretty much seen something like that, and since then, you know, I've been able to see things. Um I did so um in 2010, I was part of a different group, and we had gone to uh Unknown Mansion, and I had to say unknown mansion because we weren't allowed to be there, and um security got called because we tripped the silent alarm, right? And they told us to pack everything up, and as we were packing things up, um we were trying to clear the clear the house or the mansion, and as I was going into the parlor, the guy stopped in front of me and looked at me, and I said, Hey, we gotta we gotta leave, so let you know just go through the kitchen and and exit out. And he smiled and walked on.

It wasn't someone you recognized, and I was like, Oh, so I'm going like, What?

SPEAKER_01 19:28

I said, Is there anyone else in the house? I said, I thought we cleared it. They're like, Yeah, I'm like, there was some dude right here. I'm like, and then it dawned on me because he had like a uh like an early 40s, 50s outfit on. Um, I'm like, dude, there's an apparition, and he just went to the kitchen, and so all of us just ran after him. And I just sat there because I was like, because first of all, you're like, did I really just see that? Yeah, because you're you you're you're like, this is what stories are made of. Like people talk about this, but did that just really happen to me? And I remember throughout the night, I was with um the guy that owned the team, and he kept saying, Hey, there's something in the corner. There's something in that corner in the kitchen. And I kept looking over, I'm like, I can't see that, I can't see it, I can't see. And he's like, There was someone crouched down in that corner. It was this individual, it was the guy.

Was it like a creepy smile, or was it just like he was just a guy like a guy, just a judge- Okay, I'm at I was it was kind of like a pioneer guy.

SPEAKER_01 20:27

Yeah, you I mean, literally, he looked like a pioneer guy, just doing his thing, and it was and it was I mean, I didn't get freaked out.

SPEAKER_02 20:34

I was kind of it wasn't a bad feeling.

SPEAKER_01 20:36

No, it wasn't a bad feeling.

SPEAKER_02 20:37

He was just there, he was just there. Well, that kind of leads me into my next question. Like, did this used to scare you? And did you get to a point where it doesn't scare you, or does it still scare you sometimes?

SPEAKER_01 20:49

Or um, I guess it depends on the situation, um, where you're at, what you're doing. Like I said, so we don't really focus on public investigations, we just started doing those um just because at the time I had a team member who had a lot of friends that wanted to come out, and so I was like, okay, we'll entertain doing the public investigations because we were focusing just on helping families, and uh so I guess it just depended on the home that we would go into and what the circumstances were at that time and what was there. Um do I get scared? The only time I get scared is if I know someone's gonna get hurt because I don't know who it is going to be, and I don't know how they're gonna get hurt, and so yeah, so I do get scared about that as far as like something jumping out in front of me. Um and I know that later you're gonna want me to share some experiences and some stories, and so I'm saving those, but um it it if you go unprepared, it doesn't scare you as much. But if you're going in there. Just blind and you don't want to know anything, yeah, you'll you're gonna end up getting scared.

I think sometimes that's part of it too, is like it's just human nature to be afraid of what we can't see, or you know, like the jump scares that you don't, you know.

SPEAKER_01 22:16

That and then I mean, like the door, like your your cupboards. I mean, you don't expect those open up and slam shut. No, and the minute it happens, and you're like, what?

SPEAKER_02 22:25

Right.

SPEAKER_01 22:26

And it scares you because you weren't expecting that. And so it's it's but yeah, like I said, if if you're going in there, just an open mind skeptic, yeah, you'll probably have a jump scare here or there.

Well, on that note, then why don't you tell us some of your most memorable stories?

SPEAKER_00 22:46

Well, so I I asked my team, I said, okay, I'm being interviewed. What what investigation should I talk about?

SPEAKER_01 22:53

And and so I have like two OGs that are still with me from when I first started this team in 2011. That was one of the questions you're supposed to ask me. Anyways, I answered that.

We'll come back to that. Um, first and very first investigation was up in Mill Creek. Um one of our past members who helped me create this team had found this family that was in dire straits. And we show up to this old home that was a rambler. And the minute I looked at it, I just got this feeling like there's something wrong with this. Like, there's something wrong here. Like, I didn't know what it was. I'm like, first investigation, I'm like, is it jitters? And we walk in the home, and it was just ice cold. I'm like, okay, I'm picking up on something. Like, there's something it's like textbook. So we're talking to the family, we're like, okay, what's going on? And the cool thing is they actually had evidence, like video evidence of stuff happening, and they're like, let us show you what's going on. And they're like, watch this. And so they're showing us this video, and I just remember it's a hallway from the bedroom to the front room, and you see this lamp going turning on and off, on and off, on and off, and they're like, it's unplugged. So they walk up and they show that the lamp is unplugged. And I'm like, and they're like, and we're finishing our basement. And oh man, I'm getting chills just thinking about this now. Oh, so they're we've got tools all over the place, and you can hear things being thrown, tools being thrown.

As they're telling me this, I hear a hammer go and hit the wall. I'm like, are you kidding me? I'm like, I was like, and they're like, there's no one down there. And so they had two dogs at the time, and I said, Okay, I said, Well, can we bring the dog with us? They're like, and we'll go down there. I said, I said, well, no, look.

Can we try?

So we tried, so we took the dog to the entryway and it started growling. And I went, I said, seriously, we told you, and I said, Okay, look, and I said, and so I opened up the door and it started barking. And I was like, and I looked down there and I could hear just tools going back and forth. So I go down there with my my companion or my partner, we'll call her my partner, and we watch this uh hammer fly in front of us. And I went, and it was just it was her, myself, and the other investigator. There was only three of us, and no dog. And I'm like, I'm like, we need the whole team here.

Like, this is Were you afraid of something hitting you, like flying through the air?

SPEAKER_01 26:00

Yeah, and I'm like, I'm like, I I'm like, I mean, this is our first investigation.

SPEAKER_02 26:04

Obviously, meant it meant harm.

SPEAKER_01 26:05

Yeah, so this is our first investigation. I'm like, so we go back upstairs, and I'm like, okay, like what else is going on? And they're like, well, I'm she goes, I'm sick, and the doctors don't know what's going on with me, but I am like literally dying. And I'm like, whoa. And they're like, we don't know what's going on. They said, the other dog, the other dog's sick, and then the vet doesn't know what's going on with the other side.

Just since they moved into the house.

SPEAKER_01 26:33

Yes.

Okay.

SPEAKER_01 26:35

So, and they've been there for five years, and they've been putting up with this for five years. And I'm like, okay, I said, What we're gonna do is I I need to bring more people back.

SPEAKER_02 26:46

I said, This is you're like, I'm in over my head.

SPEAKER_01 26:48

I'm like, I'm pretty much over my head. I gotta bring more of my team here. We'll come back next weekend.

Now, wait, wait, wait, let back up one sec. All the tools are flying. You said they're refinishing the basement. Did it start up once they started renovating, or had it been doing it before?

SPEAKER_03 27:06

So the renovation started.

I'll get to this because there is a story that goes behind this.

Oh, wow.

SPEAKER_01 27:13

And it gets crazy. So we come back the next week, and I mean, I've got there's like eight of us there, and we have a medium with us at this that time. And then she has her friend who was an empath, and so they were kind of work together. And so I was kind of like, okay, this is gonna be cool, you know, we're gonna figure out what's going on. And I said, told, told the husband wife, I said, act normal, just act like this is an everyday night, just let us do our thing. So we set up our cameras, we're sitting outside, you know, kind of like this act baggins thing. We had our little can out there, and so we're watching the monitor, and it's like nine o'clock, nine thirty at night, and they go to bed. And I was kind of like, okay, I don't hear like there's nothing going on in the basement. I'm like, what's going on?

It was just a quiet night.

It was really quiet.

Did they have quiet nights sometimes?

SPEAKER_01 28:05

Necessarily, it was they had something going on every night. So I was like, this is weird. You know, and the mediums downstairs, they're doing their stuff. I watch the monitors and the other groups inside doing EVPs, and it's me and my partner, and all of a sudden, you see the husband run down the hall screaming. And as I'm watching this, I see this mist come after him. And he's like, something just screamed in my ear and woke me up from my sleep, and I saw the mist falling him.

Oh, and that had never happened to them before.

SPEAKER_01 28:41

Well, he's he said he'd been woken up like someone tugging at his feet, but never had his name screamed in his ear.

Were they mad?

SPEAKER_01 28:48

So I'm mad you were there. So that's when the activity started to happen. Okay, so I'm like, okay. I'm like, do you feel safe to go back in your bedroom or do you want to hang out here? Do you want to go in your car? Do you want to go? He's like, we're gonna hang out in the car. I said, fine, go take your wife, go in the car, just relax, we'll take care of this. So the meeting comes up and she's like, I'm being told I need to go to the attic. I'm like, okay, go to the attic. And I said, We have access to the house. So I go and stuff. So they go up to the attic, and I'm downstairs, and I'm hearing noises, and I'm hearing growling, and I'm just and I'm like, what is really going on? And then I hear him on the walk, he says, Come back to the command center, we got to show you something. So then we go to the command center, and there's this suitcase. And I'm like, and it's like an old 50 suitcase. And I'm like, what is this?

I'm like, they found it in the attic, they found it in the attic.

Okay, so they open it up, and there's like little girl clothes in there, blood stains, there's pictures of young women in there, little girls. And I'm like, whoa whoa.

Serial killer?

SPEAKER_01 30:06

I'm like, what's going on? What are you dealing with? Like, what's going down here? So I I call in the the the owner, I said, Hey, do you know anything about this suitcase? And they're like, Where'd you find that? And I said, It's up in the attic. I'm like, no. And I was like, we need to tell you some more stuff. And they're like, so we're renovating the basement. There was a wall that was what that was boarded up, and we tore it down.

Oh, oh, I don't know if I want to know.

They said, we found the most grotesque pornography you can ever find behind the wall. And I said, Okay. I said, just go through, what's in the suitcase? I said it's little girls' clothes, there's bloodstains on them, and there's like pictures of these little girls. And they're like, now you gotta tell you more. Well, in the meantime, my medium's standing in the backyard staring at this place, and she goes, Hey, she goes, Was there a pond here at one time? And they're like, not to our knowledge, and they're like, I'm picking up that there was water here at one time, and they're like, now let's tell us now. Let's tell you what's what's weird. They said the previous owner just came back two weeks prior for you guys coming out, saying they need to they want to come back in the house, they forgot some stuff. And we will let them come back in. And we're like, no, no, that's our home. You sorry, whatever's here, we'll just throw it away. And they said they woke up one morning and the guy was standing in the backyard where the medium's standing, staring. Like digging, or like staring at where she said there was like water. So I'm like, all right, what did we walk ourselves into?

I'm like, I said, you need to call the police. They need to come pick this up. We need to figure out what's going on. So we so in the meantime, I said, go back, go back to your car, we'll give you back this suitcase. You know, it's yours. Make sure the police get it.

So me and the medium are down in the basement, and something overcomes me. And I start acting weird, and I start attacking my medium.

Like physically?

SPEAKER_01 32:32

Like physically attacking her. And she knows what's going on. She goes, something's channeling through me that was down there that was harming these girls, or harming whatever. Like I was like trying to literally choke her. I was trying to grab her in a headlock. And but I mean, she was pretty strong, so she knew what was going on. And then the other investigators came down, so I was going on and they kind of separated us. And she did, I don't know what she did, but it left me. And she said, There's something evil down here that's come through. And she goes, There's a portal. There was like this crawl space, like I don't we even know what they could put in there. She said, This is where it's at. We're gonna close it up. She goes, Whatever came through, came and channeled through you, and that's why you were acting the way you were. So we close the portal up, everything settles down, so we go home. And we're like going through the evidence, and I'm like, I cannot believe what we're picking up. I mean, we're picking up noises, we're picking up grunts, we're picking up voices, I mean, we're picking up pig noises, we're I mean, we're just picking up all this stuff. In the meantime, they call the police, please come, take this, and they they do a sonar, and they see that there is cement down in the ground, like someone had poured a cement pad.

So either for a pot or I'm sorry, a pond or like bodies, yeah. Or both.

Yeah, yeah. So there there was cement down there, but it had been covered up, and now there was a lawn. So um we go back and meet with the owners, and as we're in their front room, covers start opening up and slamming. And I and I'm like, I'm like, okay, here's what's going on.

Wait, had you closed the thing yet?

SPEAKER_01 34:32

Yeah, they're probably closed, but something else opened up somewhere.

Okay.

So I said, here's what's going on. Um, we're new. I said, you probably need to get a hold of your local ecclesiastical leader, have them come in and bless the home. Um they're probably gonna have to come more than just once. And I said, and you guys need to also believe in you know the higher being, because they kind of just walked away from believing in God. And I said, because it what it this is doing is is feeding off your negativity. I said, we're gonna come back in a couple of weeks and we'll check up on you. So when he came back, the dog had died. They don't they found they found the dog dead one morning. Um she was really sick looking. And I'm like, you guys, I said, have you called? And I'm like, we haven't called yet. I'm like, you guys gotta do this. If you wanna live, you gotta do this, or you gotta move. I said, whatever's here is killing you, killing you, literally killing you. Um then they asked us not to come back. Oh they asked us not to come back.

Do you think they were possessed?

SPEAKER_01 35:54

So a couple years after this had happened, I had asked my friend, I had asked my partner, I said, Hey, have you ever kept in contact with them? And she said, not really. She goes, After they said to leave us, leave them alone, go away. I just kind of said, Okay, they don't want our help. I was like, it'd be kind of interesting. So I've driven past her a couple times, and then it's it's someone different that's living there.

Oh do you get any feeling as you drive by? Oh yeah. It's still bad.

Oh, it's still there.

Whatever so someone new is putting up with that now.

So so whatever's there, whatever was conjured is there still. Um, it'd be interesting to see who the guy was that wanted to get up in the attic because he said he'd left something in the attic.

Right.

But also why he was standing.

So it was his suitcase and his cement, probably.

Yes, that's what we're that's what we're coming to the conclusion. So, but yeah, that was our first experience. I mean, we're fairly new, and I and that's when I just like okay, I guess if we're gonna be serious and we're gonna do this, I gotta really figure out how we can help these, you know.

How does your body feel though the next day after being taken over? Do you feel like your body's do you feel tired or tense or yeah?

SPEAKER_01 37:07

So you do, it drains you out, and you know, so when we do the public investigations, and I failed to say this at the Fort Douglas is the next day you need to drink tons of water, like tons of water, and maybe just take an hour and just meditate because it does, it wipes you out. It literally will just suck the energy right out of you. Um, and sometimes it's a couple of days for me, and and it's just it just wears on you, wears on you.

So I would think it would, like if it's a big one like that, I would think it would take a couple days before you feel yeah, kind of back to yourself again.

So, your group, how do you what made you decide number one to found it, and then how do you help people with it?

SPEAKER_01 37:53

So, like I said, in 2010, I joined this uh a group that no longer exists in Salt Lake. Um funny story about that one. Um my mom was a school teacher, and her and her friend, her and her friends, her and her co-worker teacher friends were taking a class at night from this this paranormal group. And and at the time they were teaching at the uh uh in Midville, it was the resource center in Midville, which was the old elementary school back in in the early 60s and 70s, and they're getting ready to tear it down. There, it was their last year, they're gonna tear it down and make it into a park. So they got permission to go investigate this group gun. Permission go investigate the the school, and so they um I think our friend taught there before they tore it down.

I think so too. But anyway, I'm sorry, go ahead and go.

Oh, you're no you're good, no, and so we went there, and she was she was able to bring a friend, so she asked me, she goes, You want to go and say, Oh yeah, I'll go. Heck yeah, I'm gonna go. So I went, got hooked, joined the team that night, and so for 10 months I was part of this team, and it was huge, so they had an A group and a B group. So the A group got the priority, and if anyone in the A group couldn't go, they come to the B group and say, Hey, you want to come on this investigation? And so three of us or two other people were like, This is lame, man. We're we paid 25 bucks for what to wait for our phone call to see if they're gonna let us come on an investigation. Like, we can put our own team together. So in July of 2011, we put our team together. Um, and I can't remember where I was going with this.

Well, how you help people?

SPEAKER_01 39:48

Oh, how we help the people now. So we sat down and we said, What is our group about? Like, what are we? What was our goal? Um, was it for the stories or was it to help people? Because at the time there was a ghost um show on called uh ghost uh not ghost adventures, it was called um uh taps.

Yeah, I've heard of that show.

SPEAKER_01 40:13

So taps. Yeah, so so I started watching oh it was ghost hunters, that's what it was called, ghost hunters, and they were taps. And so I started watching them, and I was like, I want to do that, I want to go help people. And so I got them watching it, and this is where I want, this is where I want the group to go. I want the group to go help people, um, because there's people out there that need our help. I mean, because back when we were growing up, who did you turn to? Nobody, because it was taboo, no one talked about it, like ghosts didn't, they weren't real, yeah, or it was satanic and you didn't talk about it.

Yeah, so we just said, okay, let's let's start this. I said, but we've got to get street cred under our belt. So I said, so we gotta go investigate somewhere. So we went to business, like so we went to Asylum 49, and I said, because we gotta be able to show our audience that we're like really legit, that we're the for real deal. And so, you know, so we had gone to the Empress and we had gone to Asylum 49. So we were, and at the time we'd brought on um someone that we knew from high school, she's you're older than me, and she had a dance studio out in Twilla that was haunted. And um, so we went out there.

I'm telling you, Twilla?

SPEAKER_01 41:35

Oh, that's bad news. Yeah, it's it that that whole place is haunted. And so we'd go out there, and then so we actually made her dance studio our training center. So when people would come on our team, we would take them out there and do a lot of training with them. And so so as soon as we started doing this, and we started putting it on social media, and then we actually wrote up uh an article for um the KSL uh ads, and so we posted that there, and man, we had like investigations like every other weekend, we were getting calls like non-stop for the first three years, and uh yeah, and we just started helping families and and do you feel like you were able to like exercise houses, or do you or were you like okay, this is what we've narrowed it down to call your local priest or bishop or whatever and take it from there? So our rule of thumb is that's our our first thing is is to have them go find their local ecclesiastic leader. If they can't, then we'll step in. So we have a cleansing team. Um, I have we have a witch, we have two witches on our team, and then we have the the psychic medium, and um, so they're they're our cleansing team, and then of course you've got me. Um, and so that's so if they don't have anyone to go to, we will come in there and help them with it.

Um, but yeah, so we do we do have that. Um, we do have a website that we're working on currently. Um, and uh so that's under construction right now. Yeah, that's what we have so far.
