SPEAKER_08Um I don't work in an album.
SPEAKER_03And then I've got another single from that album.
SPEAKER_07Is old I got my own kind of drummer, and I'm walking to the bee. I'm doing my own thing, don't need to compete. I'ma stay in my play on my own praise the way I always lay.
SPEAKER_04Go forward, forward, I'ma stay in my play in the path that's been laid a phone. Turn away, go forward, forward, I'ma stay in my lane. I'ma run in my legs, I always stay in my lane, move forward.
SPEAKER_07Some people watching, watch everything I do. I hear them talking like they're judging every, I'm cheering for you too. Gotta lift each other. There's room for me and you. I'ma stay in mind, play the back.
SPEAKER_04My own plays the way I was laying, go forward. Oh put on a stay in my lay the back. That's been lay the water, turn and play, move forward. Oh good, I'ma stay my leg. I'ma run my face, I'ma stay my leg, move forward.
SPEAKER_07Forgetting what I've left behind. Won't look to the left and right. Keep my eyes on the final prize. Press on, press on. Forgetting what I've left behind. Won't look to the left and right. Keep my eyes on the final prize. Press on, press on. Forgetting what I've left behind. Won't look to the left or right.
SPEAKER_04Keep my eyes on the final prize. Press on, press on. Forgetting what I've left behind. Won't look to the left and right. Keep my eyes on the final price. Press on press on. I'm a stay in my leg. My own place to wait out. I'm a stay in my leg.
SPEAKER_03Okay, let's talk a bit about the song Shame. I'm very excited for people to hear it. People may notice I've been leaning a little bit more into some blues guitar. I don't know that I'll ever get to like being fully a blues artist, but I feel very inspired by blues players and like just the lament and the raw and real emotion that comes from like the history of the blues. And so I love incorporating that into you know that the my Christian music that I'm doing. And so you'll hear a little bit of a bluesy flavor to it, a little bit darker tone. Um but it's just exploring how we make mistakes and we can kind of circle around them and around them and start defining ourselves by the those mistakes in Christ. So we don't have to define ourselves by those anymore because he defines us as a beloved child. You know, when we when we repent, he gives us the grace and the freedom to repent and to turn toward him, and he offers a much better identity as his child as opposed to the identity based on whatever mistakes we've made in the past. And so this song is basically telling Shane, you don't have a hold on me, I'm free.
SPEAKER_07Shame accusing me again, always laying plain, chasing me with shackles like a jailer in my brain. You won't be in chain, defined by my mistakes. What's it gonna take for me to finally break away?
SPEAKER_04Guilty violence, Savior, pay the price for me. Nobody's gonna make me walk in.
SPEAKER_07I am not the same. Everything is changed. The cross is my defense against the things they try to say. Don't look at me that way.
SPEAKER_04No, I won't play okay. You don't have a claim on me, I'm free and deep today. Perfect judge and jumping guilty for that save your pay price for me. Nobody's gonna make me walk in shame This prisoner's walking free, singing living differently.
SPEAKER_07This prisoner's walking free, no, you ain't got no claim on me. This prisoner's walking free, I am living differently. This prisoner's walking free, no, you ain't got no claim on me.
SPEAKER_04Nobody's gonna make me walk in shame. Won't keep me in the grave. The penalty was great. Now I can hold my head. Nobody's gonna make me walk in. Nobody's gonna make me walk in. Nobody's gonna make me walk in.
SPEAKER_08Well, I wanna thank you so much, Chelsea, for joining me on the program. I I I love your music and I'm so glad that you came to join me today.
