Hey guys. So I'm doing something a little different today. No co-hosts, no debates, no one to argue with about whether a pick was a reach or the right pick was made. Caleb Downs is a Dallas cowboy, though. Just me, because I wanted to close out season one the right way. And the right way for me was to sit down and write a letter, a real one, to a city that honestly changed everything for this show. So bear with me. I'm going to go through a little bit of background before I get to the letter. I know a lot of our new fans from Pittsburgh are eager to hear what I have to say, but bear with me while I give you a little bit of background. When I started the Red Zone Blitz, I genuinely didn't know what it was going to become. This podcast out of Canada that's covering the NFL and college football on paper that sounds a little bit ridiculous, but I believed in it. And apparently 180,000 streams later, some of you did too. That number still doesn't feel real to me. 180,000 times someone in Canada or the States pressed play on something that we made. That's wild. That is everything. Season one had its moments, it had its ups and downs. Having to figure out how to do audio editing, video editing, social media, all that stuff was a bit of a learning curve. But the show, the show kept growing. Now Pittsburgh. I need to talk to you for a second. I went into draft week not knowing what to expect. Genuinely, I knew the city was going to be electric. You're Pittsburgh. That's just who you are. But I didn't know what it was going to feel like for me personally and for this show. And then I got there. People showing up, showing love, taking time to connect with a Canadian podcast that, you know what, some of us, when we went down there, we thought, you know what, no one's going to know who we are. And we would be surprised if we had even one person come up to us and say, Red Zone Blitz. Yeah, I heard of it. I had more than I counted, I think. I stopped counting at one point, but there was more than a handful of people that I ran into in the street that recognized the logo of the hoodie I was wearing that said, Hey man, I know that thing. I know what you guys are all about. And that's not something I'll ever take for granted. I was overwhelmed in pa in the best possible way. Pittsburgh has always had this thing, the six Lombardi trophies that they reminded me of every time I walked down the streets in a Cowboys jersey, a stadium carved into the hillside, fans who bleed black and yellow, whether the team deserves it or not. And for one week in April 2026, you hosted the entire future of this league, and we got to be a part of that. I don't care how big or small this show is right now, this experience meant something. It meant something to me, and it meant something to this podcast. So, Pittsburgh, thank you for the energy. Thank you for the access. Thank you for the love. You reminded me that this is just the beginning. Now, what's next? With this episode marking the end of season one, season two. I'm not going to give you everything today. That's not how I want to do it. What I will say is things are going to look a little different. It's going to be a little bit more leaner, more focused, more of the conversations that I want to actually be having with creators, analysts, people inside this game who have something real to say. I know where I want this show to go, and I'm more locked in on that vision now than I've ever been. Pittsburgh, show me that. Walking away from that city, I felt it. Like, okay, now I know what this can be. So stay close. Season two is coming. And I promise you, we're just getting started. To everybody who listened this season, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. For real. Like, you have no idea how much this means. To everyone that found us in Pittsburgh, to all the beautiful faces that you know are popping off on TikTok right now, to everybody that has tuned in, followed us, welcome. You're a part of this now.
