Iran Escalates, The Charlie Kirk Case & Conspiracy Culture
Has America entered an era where truth is harder to separate from narrative than ever before?
In Episode 17 of The Sparks Show, Spencer Parks and Cameron Collier tackle three of the most talked-about stories dominating headlines: renewed tensions with Iran, the latest developments surrounding the Charlie Kirk case, and the growing influence of online personalities in shaping conspiracy theories and public opinion.
The episode begins with the latest escalation involving Iran following the reported breakdown of the memorandum of understanding, examining what additional military action could mean for the Middle East, U.S. foreign policy, and America’s role in future conflicts.
Spencer and Cameron then discuss the Charlie Kirk pretrial, the broader questions surrounding political violence, and how the justice system should respond when high-profile political figures become victims of violent crime.
The conversation concludes with a discussion about the modern information ecosystem, including the role of influencers such as Candace Owens, alternative media, conspiracy theories, independent journalism, and whether Americans are becoming too trusting, or too skeptical, of the information they consume online.
Whether you agree with our conclusions or not, this episode explores one central question:
How do Americans find the truth in an age of endless information?
Topics include:
Charlie Kirk pretrial updates
Iran tensions and renewed military strikes
Middle East geopolitics and U.S. foreign policy
Candace Owens and conspiracy theories
Social media, influencers, and independent journalism
Trust in legacy media vs. alternative media
Political violence and the American justice system

Welcome back, everybody, to episode 17 of the Spark Show. We have our co-host Cameron Collier here with us today, and myself, Spencer Parks, your host. And we are bringing you some hot new topics after the 4th of July, the news roll that's coming through. Um we've had Iran strikes times three now since the MOU was violated the first time. Um we've had some progress made and the pretrial take place for the Charlie Kirk hearing with quite a bit of sort of dust that hasn't settled and some questions that may still need to be answered. And uh, I want to also start by wishing the Graham family. Lindsey Graham passed away um tragically last night. Nobody saw that coming, so our thoughts and prayers are with his family and with Lindsey Graham at this time. And um yeah, Cameron, good morning. Good morning. So does Lindsey Graham have a family? Well, everyone comes from someone, and if he ain't got a family, then he's part of the Lord's family.
SPEAKER_03True.
SPEAKER_02I mean, it's pretty old, so I don't know if mom and dad are still kicking. Yeah, well, I I don't know. I mean, did he I don't know if he talked much about family or if he had kids or I mean I didn't really follow the guy too much.
SPEAKER_03Can't say I was a big fan of the dude, but anytime there's death we don't we don't celebrate it. Yeah, well, yeah, I enjoyed the uh Southern enthusiasm coming from Graham. Well, I was really curious if we were gonna well, maybe we will to see if those accusations of homosexuality were true or not. You know how the left always said he was a closeted gay guy.
SPEAKER_02Why is it always after they die we have to go digging in the closet?
SPEAKER_03Well, no one likes skeletons more than the old libs, so.
SPEAKER_02Well, we're gonna We're asking any whistleblower out there whoever had relationships with Lindsey Graham to please step forward. Yeah, yeah. I'm I'm I'm a bit doubtful. I just think he was a pretty staunch Republican, and so anytime you've got one of those guys rolling around and Well, he was single too, right? Gosh, here we go. Cameron's really feeding the fire, feeding the fury.
SPEAKER_03Well, I mean legitimate questions, right? Oh poor. Well Instagram. We know Netanyahu was one of the first to respond. A little bit chilly. Yeah, you were you were a little off put by that. You're like, what is what's going on here, Mossad?
SPEAKER_02So Well, like you said, he's got his ear to the ground in the United States. And you know the America First Movement really really hates that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, absolutely. Well I have learned since July 4th is probably best just keep your mouth shut until all the evidence is on the table to come to conclusions, because there's just I mean, everyone's coming to conclusions with partial evidence or some evidence, not enough evidence, and it's just like you just wind up looking like a fool. And you're talking more specifically about Charlie Kirk's case, right? Well, there's that, I mean, uh anything really, right? The Iran thing. It's just like you don't know what's going on. And so it's to just come up with these huge determinations. It's like the best is watching the compilation videos that people put together of say Candace Owens with the Charlie Kirk thing or Tucker Carlson with his. Have you seen those words? I didn't say that, and then this cuts to him saying the exact thing. You're like, oh boy. I mean, I get it, right? Because you're just sitting here and you're talking shit, and then next thing you know, you're saying things he probably didn't really a hundred percent think through. It was just in the moment. That's just because we're emotional beings, but I mean, it's gonna be clipped, let me tell you.
SPEAKER_02I gotta say, as a new podcaster, you just you sort of say stuff to ride the rage wave. Well, you don't even realize it. You don't realize it, but you just you you say it. Yeah. And there's no way to take back what you say on a recorded line.
SPEAKER_03No, yeah, that's that's uh that's a funny thing. And you're like, woo, you gotta really button things up, tighten things up. But I mean, how boring is that? How about the viewer and the listener just be just understand that you have a little forgiveness, a little grace in your heart for us lowly shit talkers. Yeah, putting our opinions out there for everyone to smell like a bad fart. Yeah, I mean, that's what it is at the end of the day. I'm no expert. I've studied exactly zero in global politics. I mean, I've I guess I've researched, quote unquote, but I I must admit it was all Fox News. Fox Fox News is what informs all of my opinions, and only because I'm a Republican and I don't listen to anything else, just Fox News. Greg Gretfield, love him. Jesse Waters. Who are the girls? Dana Bash? No, wait, that's CNN. Look at that. I don't even know a girl on Fox News. Laura Ingram. Oh, Laura Ingram, can't forget her. She's our I mean, you know, I okay, we won't go there. Sorry. Sorry. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.
SPEAKER_02Trump did a really good job on me, man, leading up to January 6th with election integrity and voting fraud and all that good stuff. And election fortification. Ooh, election fortification, yeah. Remember that? That was uh we fortified the election. Trump he never told everyone to go storm the Capitol, but man, he really riled us up and he brought a national spotlight to election fortification.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Um we see how it's culminating now with. I mean, I I saw something. There was uh an election, a local election, I think, overturned in Connecticut because of all the ballot box stuffing and stuff going on. And then you just see all these videos. I mean, of course it's clips, right? But I mean, it's very suspicious when you see a lady walking up with a stack of ballots walking in. That's what I wanted to tell you. Was Spencer Pratt, he kind of ended his last um his last video with a little clip that they had. And it's like kind of um what he's been doing in the background, and it's a video of a guy opening up a box of just empty ballots. Just there's like a fat stack of them. And you're like, okay, what has he got going on here? Do we have a patriot that's embedded themselves in this corrupt system here in California?
SPEAKER_02People have big questions, they're like, Where could you even get a big box of blank ballots? How could that even end up in one person's hands?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, well, exactly. It shouldn't, right? And then I mean he was making perfect points. He's well, why am I gonna demand a recount of perfectly legitimate stolen votes? You know what I mean? That fraud has already happened before this. Right. Although he's I don't question anything going on in those voting centers. I know that everything is going according to law and policy. Nothing is the is the matter there. But they already cooked the system beforehand when they collected the votes. So it's and there's no chain of custody. There's I mean, I mean he made a perfect analogy. Well, what was it? It was the bank vault door is wide open, and you're not allowed to have surveillance, and you're not allowed to audit. And it's well, that was a pretty good one.
SPEAKER_02I I think I agree with that. Yeah, I mean, it's kind of like our our our Pentagon who seems to fail an audit over the last not the United States Marine Corps. Well, there are some branches that do their due diligence and follow the law, but who is it? Was it the Pentagon that failed five consecutive audits and you know, unaccounted for billions of dollars? Yeah. But God forbid, us little taxpayers mess up those tax returns.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah. Guy making $40,000 a year. This is an undisclosed income of $500. Where'd that come from? Oh, I'm not I'm sorry. It's gotta be $650, right? That's the deal. $650. What's that Venmo transaction? Yeah. What a joke. Yeah, it's pretty horrible. Um and it just gives fuel to the retard fire.
SPEAKER_02It sure does. And let's speak about retard fires. Okay. How about how about the uh, you know, from which side, left or right? Oh, the right. I want to talk about Candace Owens right now. Okay, let's do it. Yeah, Candace. Oh. She's got some clips out there.
unknownWoo!
SPEAKER_02I'm not gonna lie. When Charlie passed away, I took her credibility as being a friend of longtime friend of Charlie's and um close friend, and I took that to the bank. I was like, somebody like this wouldn't spin a web in his after his death and make these claims about his wife and all this stuff. I'm like, my approach was I don't believe everything Candace is saying, but I want her to ask questions because I want to hear what comes of it. But I'm we're we're in the pretrial now, that's concluded. And I'm sorry, but just because there were Israeli phones in the crowd that day pinging off and flights from Egypt taking off out of Provo, Utah, and yeah, making my eye twitch too. Because I mean, we were all over the place with these theories. Oh, yeah. It was like, okay, who did it? It's like the Trump administration, the Egyptians, the Israelis, uh his own security detail. When it's just like, oh my gosh. Yeah. What about the kid on the rooftop with the rifle?
SPEAKER_03No, no. Okay. One of the big one of the things that just came to mind is Candace Owens reminds me of the problem with free market capitalism with no constraints. I'm just asking questions. It's just questions, right? But then if you have this massive voice just slinging theories left and right, and with no guardrails, no controls. It's just look at the damage that it's caused to just the public perception of the case. Where it's like you're sitting there and people just fully believe, I mean, there are some the Caleb Hammer, you know who he is, the financial audit guy, and you see some of the stuff that people say, you're like, whoa, dude. Okay, can you at least test? I mean, we live in the age of AI. Can you at least test your assumptions? That's what I do. I test my assumptions because I'm like, okay, um, I saw some things that people were putting on about this guy being a Patsy. So then I started testing some of it and um on um ChatGPT. And I'm looking at it and I'm putting the things in and I'm saying what the conspiracy theorists are saying, and there's a lot of merit, but I mean it's just like it's pigeonholed. And it's like Swiss cheese, their arguments, and ChatGPT is able to aggregate all these arguments. Okay, okay, well, what how about this? How about that? How about this, that, and the other? But that's the problem, is if you actually do that, how are you you're not an opportunist. I mean, she's a free market capitalist, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, these people are are trying to solve human evolution, and they are just missing a fucking key point in every every aspect or assertion that they're making. Yeah, it's I'm sorry. You know, you're missing you're missing a very crucial link. You're just not, you're you're hitting, hitting the ball, but you're not hitting the home run.
SPEAKER_03Assumptions, speculation, this is not evidence. This is not what you can use to as an argument for your assertion.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03I mean, maybe it's because the college classes we took where it was just like if you make an assertion, you need to immediately back it up with evidence. It was assertion, evidence, assertion, evidence, assertion, evidence. Remember that from all my essays that I wrote. So it's like one of the first things that I do. When I make an assertion, then I gotta go and I look it up and I realize I'm full of shit. Oh, great. Now I gotta, but that's hard, I guess, right? It's hard looking at yourself in the mirror and holding yourself accountable.
SPEAKER_02I thought the good authors of essays would go and test their assertions, find sources that they could take quotes out of context and put those next year.
SPEAKER_03Yes, you can do that. That is, yes, that's what is that, motivated reasoning or something like that. Is that what that one is? I believe I use that strategy a little bit in my high school author days.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We'll just we'll just dot dot dot that quote just in the middle of that real quick and we'll finish it up.
SPEAKER_03Yep, exactly. Or um, what is that where you you do the three dots and then you you put something else together? You finish it up after you miss a crucial statement out of the quote.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, well, we saw that used a lot by the Democrats with Trump. Absolutely. Yep. Some of that the doctored footage and some of the statements he made. Yeah. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03Um but what's going on with Candace? What is it? What do you think her motivations are? Let's speculate on that.
SPEAKER_02It's hard to say. You know, you want to think that she is a a diehard good friend of Charlie and she really just wants the she wants the truth. That's what you want to hope. But she doesn't trust law enforcement, obviously. She's got a deep mistrust for Cash Patel and you know why? Oh, just because of the Epstein files and some of the things that have transpired, promises made, promises not kept out of some of these people.
SPEAKER_03I mean, this is one of the things I don't understand about people. Is do you understand the way our government works?
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_03It's like it's not that first of all, that's not Cash Patel's. That would that would be Pam Bondi, so the fault would lay at p Pam Ball Bondi's feet for the whole Epstein thing. Because she was the one that was in the media saying she had all these things and then she wasn't delivering on it, and then it was just this complete cluster F.
SPEAKER_02Well, I guess too, so it's specifically related to the Charlie Kirk case, Candace Owen claims that, and this is a thing I I think that is a little bit annoying, is that I feel like Candace thinks like she's owed information by intelligence agencies on a titled Yes. During an active investigation, you're like, this is a closed loop, sister. This is not just, oh, we found something. Let's tell Candace. Yeah, it's not uh it's not open source. But it's fun to be Brockovich and uncover the source of leaked information and this stuff and blah, blah, blah, but you're not owed that information. You're not entitled to that, you know.
SPEAKER_03That's well, I'm sure there's some court procedural law of some thing like you're you're tainting the jury or you're tainting evidence or something like that, where it has to be you can't screw with that sort of stuff. It's like, why hasn't Trump prosecuted the the Epstein pedophiles? Because there's no proof of wrongdoing. You need proof of wrongdoing to bring prosecutions. Just because there's like some evidence of some like questionable thing, like beef jerky and like these weird that that's not proof of wrongdoing. And that's why it's guys that's the way our system was designed. What was it, Benjamin Franklin that said I'd we would rather have a hundred guilty criminals go free and than have one innocent person wrapped up? So that's the that's the thing. So what does that mean? It means we have an adversarial judicial system where the government, it's not prove your innocence, it's um they have to prove your guilt.
SPEAKER_02Right. And I think let m more back to Cash Patel and why she doesn't trust them and how the federal government has handled any of this information. Because first off, so Candace claims local law enforcement was there day of the shooting, responded right after, and they swept the grounds and they had the canines out there sniffing around, and the local sheriff's department and law enforcement claim they couldn't find any rifle or anything from uh shooting. However, FBI shows up within I forget what the timeline was, but let's call it within 24 hours, and within 24 hours, they are able to come on scene and recover this rifle. And she, for some reason, found that very manpower. Sure. How about experience? I mean these I don't know.
SPEAKER_03That's the thing, is she what I can't stand is like how she's preying on the gray areas where it's like there's these there's like opportunities to um there's opportunities to second guess, and she's second guessing it.
SPEAKER_02Taking that you're you're taking a small piece of gray area and you're turning it into a full-blown part of your conspiracy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, a mountain out of a molehill, right? Sort of thing. And it's just like and we've seen time after time other internet sleuths like, oh well, that was proven wrong, that was proven wrong, and then she just continues to sling more and more mud, more and more, more and more, and it's just now it's just like I mean, she for me, she's destroyed her credibility. I'm like, you can't just continually sling that, and now I just see her as an opportunist, just simply here to collect views, to collect millions of dollars, see what I can get from this, and then I'll just pivot and transition. And it's because it's wild about the internet. You don't have to be right on the internet, you just have to be present and you just have to get gain attention. That's what matters the most because it's the attention economy. So it's that's what's so scary about it, is like you're dealing in in mat in matters that like have huge consequences, and you're just throwing shit out there, and it's whoa, whoa, whoa. Do you kind of do understand the responsibility aspect of it? But again, I get it, because we sit here and do our best to say things that are truthful, but I mean, who knows? If all of a sudden we start getting crazy numbers, and then do we get tempted into that?
SPEAKER_02I've seen people that I had to stop following them because it was just like the way they were attacking Erica Kirk, and it was just like questioning her and like all this sort of stuff, and it's like Well, if Candace came out and said, I want nothing but the best for Erica Kirk. I want her health and happiness and for her to prosper, but then she releases a full-blown documentary slandering her. Multiple series, right? Multiple episodes. Yeah, but she did one of like a big either an episode or a like its own separate, you know, yeah thing. I don't know what it was, but it was like a long format thing just trying to tie her to how she's completely orchestrating this.
SPEAKER_03So taking all these, let's call them skeleton moments. Yeah, right, where because we're imperfect human beings, we're all sinners, right? This is what bothers me the most about her, is she's supposed to be this newborn Catholic, right? Wasn't she just confirmed a Catholic? One of the reasons I think there was a conspiracy, she like disappeared, and they're like, oh, she's all running away or whatever, because she's a foreign asset, and she's like, I was being confirmed at the Vatican. Because, wait, if you're if you're being confirmed at the Vatican, what was it? I mean, or she was being I'm she was saying she was being confirmed. But you're like, how was this, how was this any sort of approach of what the church teaches of humility and grace, and where's the grace and humility in this? It's despicable. It's wait, what? What is going on here? That's what like throws me for a loop, right? Because me becoming a Catholic and learning all these principles and it's all these things, I get it. You step, you step in it sometimes, you say something that was a little more shaky.
SPEAKER_02I see the firestorm that comes for for Candace when she's been riding this train of creating these separate theories. Um, and she she was compelling to me out of the gate. I was like, yeah, let's let her ask questions. Maybe I was feeling a little mistrust in law enforcement and federal agencies, and I was like, Yeah, maybe they're not going to tell us the truth. Maybe there is something here, because I mean, you start slinging out information about flights coming in from Egyptians and taking off from Provo and 11 cell phones pinging from Israel and putting all these little pieces together. And then last week or two weeks ago, she got a photo sent to her from inside the suburban that Charlie was transported from the scene to the hospital in, and she had some internet investigator find out that there was a piece of the microphone exploded or shattered on the floor or something, and he turned the image upside down and saw it was the USB picture on the side of the microphone. So this proved that the microphone blasted on his neck.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and but you there was there was no flash from an explosive device, no smoke, no charring. My point is, is at what point is she gonna put up the white flag? It was one of those never. One of those I was looking at because I was testing the assumptions, right? Because like the ballistics, because you see these videos of look at this 308 going into the thigh muscle of a dead animal, and look at how it obliterates it, and he didn't do this thing. So I first thing I did is like I tested those assumptions on ChatGPT, and he was like, Coming up with these like specific terms like hydro or hydro. We're not gonna even fucking try. But what it was saying, it had an explanation of what's going on because the neck is very soft and so. So you have all this velocity coming in, right? And then it's not hard. So it's not piercing and then blowing through. It's hitting this soft thing. It's causing this ripple effect. The bullet then tumbles and then it hits a bone. It's not hitting the bone perfectly. It's hitting the bone sideways. And then it splinters. It was like there's explanations. And it's and there's evidence for this happening in other shoots going on and hunting and stuff like that in other animals. And it's just like so there's there's these explanations where oh, he's just a a man with a steel, a steel neck. And like you, it's just like, guys, you're just you're coming to conclusions based off of your assumptions and you're full of shit.
SPEAKER_02Well, yeah, because the opportunists, again, take the story from uh the doctor who did the autopsy and called it the magic bullet theory. They claim there's no feasible way that this 30-odd six round could have not penetrated all the way through his neck, even through his spine. But you literally have the report of what the doctor's telling you happened. Just like you said, it went in, it changed direction. Basically, what happened was it hit the spine and it dropped down his spine. Well, how did it drop down? Because it turned.
SPEAKER_03Like you're how did it because it was shot from an angle up here. Up top and going down. Up down. It was already on a downward trajectory. Right. And it hit a soft spot, and then you've seen the ballistic gel when this stuff ripples. And then, I mean, we have the frame by frames of him, and you can see that the force that's already put in. I mean, once the for like the bullet comes and touches the uh the first contact with the uh with the body, you see the the shirt ripple and you see how much force that really is. And bullets do weird things. This isn't John F. Kennedy magic bullet theory that the things bounce it around and he gets a headshot.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so I mean, I think we're at the point now with the pretrial being over. Um, we wait and we listen and we let the evidence come out, like you're saying. And uh now's the time to practice some humility. Yeah. And give the Kirk family some grace. Yeah, well, guess what? Ain't gonna happen on the internet. Yeah. It's war out there. The other disturbing ending factor to this pretrial was that the judge that's overseeing the Kirk case did not make his judgment on whether or not Tyler Robinson will be standing trial. That he's delayed that decision for further review of the evidence and everything until the earliest September when he'll make that decision.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't know what that means.
SPEAKER_02Don't know what it means either, but it could just be a normal procedural thing. Yeah. Everybody's hoping for expedited answers and that's not the way our system works. Yeah. The one thing I heard of the judge and the attorneys talking about, so some minor courtroom footage, was Tyler Robinson's defense attorneys are trying to be extremely respectful to Erica Kirk's team and and her and her family, however, maintaining Tyler Robinson's Utah constitutional rights to a fair trial. And that that they're claiming that is the utmost importance of this case.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02It is the utmost importance. And so it's very difficult. Because it has implications for all of us.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02So we can't alter the procedure just because we want one man to be held at a with a speedy trial and to be found guilty, must hear all the evidence when he must be proven guilty without a reason of a doubt. Here's a hot take.
SPEAKER_03Do you think he deserves the death penalty?
SPEAKER_02I feel like that just comes down to state law. I don't I don't I I don't want to be the person anymore that says that man should be executed. I'm not the executioner.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. I mean, there's so many people just ready to be the judge, jury, and executioner on the internet. And I think that's what's so scary. And I mean, that's also it just kind of I think shows the genius of our founding fathers. Because it was it's almost like it's kind of crazy. Like, how could you guys foresee all of this? You know what I mean? But me personally, no. Doesn't deserve the death penalty. I don't think we should have the death penalty. I think that we have everything that we need to keep a prisoner secure. Obviously he should lose his freedom, no possibility of parole. But no. No. We shouldn't shouldn't celebrate killing another human being. Because it's just like how do we how is killing people to show that killing people is wrong? You know what I mean? It's hypocrisy in its highest order. And especially as a Christian, you're like, hmm, nope, shouldn't be uh shouldn't be calling for death.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, if you're gonna if you're gonna take take the true Christian approach to being a a pro-lifer, then you certainly shouldn't be one to celebrate the death penalty.
SPEAKER_03Yep. And who was it that was on the cross next to Jesus? Wasn't a thief and a murderer? Sounds about right. So although maybe it was the murderer that mocked him. I can't remember. Gotta get sorry. Sorry, guys.
SPEAKER_02Gotta read my Bible more. There's a little bit of a moral difference there between Jesus and the other two men.
SPEAKER_03Well, of course. Of course. But what how the story goes is one mocks Jesus and the other one says, Lord, bring me. Once you ascend to your throne. Anyways, moving on.
SPEAKER_02Iran. Yeah. I mean, since we're going for a far-fetched theory of trying to try try to tie Charlie Kirk to the Middle East.
SPEAKER_03Alright. Listener who said I was crazy for saying an asteroid needs to hit. You know what I mean? What are you saying? Saying Iran needs to be some doomsday preppers. I mean, they're just there just needs to be a whoa, never mind. I almost said those. Let's roll that one back.
SPEAKER_02Um so Netanyahu fed Trump some intel that I supp, you know, he allegedly had that there was a plot. Netanyahu fed Trump. A plot to assassinate him coming out of Iran's top leaders.
SPEAKER_03I mean, we've been hearing that shit since he did Solomon, and was there any President Trump for your response, which is exactly how he responded to that claim.
SPEAKER_02The reporters were like, Did you hear that Netanyahu has information that there's a plot against the president? Trump's just they've been at me since I started dropping bombs on him. Exactly. The new year he's I had no idea he had that information. And if there is, we've already I've already left instructions, is what Trump said for what to do. And I guess he's got a thousand missiles pointed directly at Iran, ready to throw down if they assassinate him.
SPEAKER_03Well, that's up to the discretion of the new president, which will be JD Vance. So maybe, maybe he would uh did a JD sign off on that? Yeah, exactly. Maybe he would. I mean, I don't know. I'll tell you what, though, I love listening to JD. He gives me the confidence of being that that bridge, that maybe the crazy boomers that you see on the side of the road. Well, you said, I mean, the the slogans that they come up with are so brain dead. It's can you just look? I mean we mean I know you like to listen to MS Now. I know you like to listen to CNN, but can you broaden your horizons just a little bit? It's mind-numbing. It's well, I was told something, and I'm sticking to it, and I'm gonna go fight on Facebook about it. I mean, you sent me some pictures yesterday of some protests going on. I mean, they're all in wheelchairs, you're like, oh God bless their hearts. But you're like, these are the morons that are gonna vote for the D the Democrat socialists of America under the assumption, well, they're Democrats. And you're like, yeah, these aren't these aren't your Bill Clinton Democrats, guys.
SPEAKER_02I'm just so sick of seeing that the words fascist and kings and trying to tie that to Trump.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I know. And then you see this 65-year-old white lady with an ice out sign. What I mean, can you okay, what does that mean?
SPEAKER_00They're tearing families apart. I signed out on the news. They tore a whole family out of their apartment.
SPEAKER_02You're like, lady, these guys are getting the the criminals out of here, the guys with the bad rap sheets. You're safer in your neighborhood if someone gets taken out of their house. You didn't know you had an illegal immigrant living next to you.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I mean, this is this is why optics are so important because you of the brain-dead people that are out there that just come to conclusions based off of incomplete information. And it's like, what do we what have we noticed? Have you no have you seen those videos of well, what did what if the um the social justice warriors all wanted police body cams? They got the police body cans, but now that now it's shifted, they didn't want to ignore what you see on the camera. They're still racist, I promise. Yep. And you're just like, the thing, it's um I don't know who said it, but it was perfect. It's like super aggressive. They go from extreme aggressive to victim. I'm the victim. Crazy to the point where you're like, these people are so unhinged. It's just like you're trying to the police officer's trying to determine what's going on here. And instead of cooperating to get your way through the situation, it's I'm gonna curse, calm a pig, be crazy, like threatening violence, and then you're gonna get hogtied. And then it's just I see they're racist, and you're like, oh boy. But I mean, with the ice, no, no, we don't want immigration customs enforcement. Absolutely not. We need to abolish ice, and that idiot is gonna vote for the communist that's saying abolish our border security.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. Did you see the latest on one of Mom Donnie's big and bold moves of trying to undermine Trump? Yeah, it wasn't there something like he did a he was gonna meet with Iran. He was gonna try to meet with an ambassador to Iran at the UN. He was gonna have his office meet with an ambassador of Iran. And the State Department, Trump State Department, stepped in and canceled that meeting. Yeah. Yeah. What are you doing?
SPEAKER_03You're the mayor. What are you doing? I mean, okay. Do you see the hubr the the hubris of communists? I have the solutions. I have all the solutions. Me, me and my team can make the all the solutions for 330 million Americans and 4 billion human beings.
SPEAKER_02Are you sure you don't think you're the king of New York? Because that was that that's what that move was. What what authority do you think you have to do such a thing?
SPEAKER_03It's hubris. It's it's this inflation of this sense of self. I mean, think about this. I mean, he's been a f an American for all of two seconds. And this is Democrats in a nutshell. Where it's like, look at how diverse we are. We're gonna elect people who haven't been here for more than a few years. But they're just as American as you and me. I saw some clips of some guy saying he was asked, he was being asked, like, okay, well, when are they American? The minute they step foot on American soil, they're American.
SPEAKER_00Wow.
SPEAKER_03They're like, these people are retarded, dude. And they vote. And they're motivated to vote. Oh yeah. And then so you got Tom, Dick, and Harry, clean, what is it, dirty hands, clean money? Oh, I don't get involved in politics. Yet, here's like all this stuff going to shit. And it's well, I think you need to get out and vote. Well, my vote doesn't matter. And it's just like, yeah, your vote matters, dude. If you guys would get out and vote, I mean it's pathetic. I mean, how many people voted in the mayoral election? Fraction. Yeah, it's guys. Like, can I mean have a little sense of civic duty here? You don't, if you don't want your neighborhoods to go to shit, then you need to pay attention to who you're voting for.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, people just act as especially with voting now. I forget, what was it? You got less than it's 40% of the nation turns out for what's it called? The uh major yeah, general election for presidency. Yeah. So gosh. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Snuggit. No, and then you get these crazy motivated lunatics that are showing up, and you're just like, everyone's an American. You're like, okay, so the Chinese spy, absolutely, especially that one.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Can we think for a second here?
SPEAKER_02Well, this is how we know. I think we brought this up in our last episode about public institutions or public school education systems, whether or not they're teaching civics anymore. And it doesn't seem like it. Voting is like one of your most basic but fundamental civic duties.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I mean, I think it's just a checklist, right? Checklist, workbooks, and whatever. Just get it's busy work. That's the biggest problem. Like you see, it's funny, they the way the government is about going after homeschooled kids and homeschooled parents, and we're gonna prosecute you for not giving your kids an education. And then you look at, okay, well, can we look at what the the outcomes are versus the two groups? And you're like 65% of people can't even read at grade level or some or do math at grade level in the public school. Who's prosecuting those people? But our teachers deserve more. You're like, well, those teachers don't. Absolutely not. Clocking in and clocking out. I mean, I remember my public school teachers, they couldn't wait for summer vacation. Just the most miserable looks on their faces.
SPEAKER_02Well, it'll I mean, I knew one of my high school math teachers was pretty miserable, but it wasn't until I finally graduated, turned 21, that I ended up at one of the local bars myself for a margarita that it was during after school hours one week. I was there on a happy hour and happened to see her and her husband get there right at the happy hour mark, right after the school was over, and I was just like, damn. We uh we knew it, but we didn't know it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's it's I mean, it's crazy, dude. The that I I think that's one of the things the World Cup has proven is just how entitled Americans are, because you have people that don't live our lifestyle, and then they come over and they're just blown away. And it's just wow, this is way better than I thought it was gonna be. And it's just and you just have these entitled, but I think that's what the Democrats prey on. They they need to spin an image of it's worse than it actually is. And I guess it's the same thing with Republicans as well. But at least the Republicans aren't saying hate your country vote or cheer for your country's loss. I mean, you've never seen a happier liberal to see you US men's soccer lose at the World Cup. I mean, they were cheering and they were just like, I can't believe it. It's I mean, I mean, I know that flag offends you. I know, but can you at least support the guys that are it's it's mind-numbingly stupid?
SPEAKER_02Well, the weird thing, I don't know if this is a California coincidence or not, but us being based in California, Los Angeles County, I have not seen a lickety split worth of USA apparel, jersey, nothing. Yeah, yeah. We see a lot of Mexico though.
SPEAKER_00Holy Mexico out here.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah. Everyone's got the big Mexican flags cross strewn across the hoods. I don't know. And me as just an American patriot, I feel so disheartened when I just see Mexican flags ripping around all over Los Angeles. I am just like, why are we not proud to be American?
SPEAKER_03I get the the Well, you're in a Democrat stronghold for one, and Democrats say over and over and over again why we're the most evil nation on the world, and it needs to be burned down and rebuilt from the ground up. There's no redeeming qualities of the United States. Especially this new crop of Democrats that are coming up. Some of the stuff that you see them say, oh, I wiped my hands with the American flag. I'm trying not to curse, but that's uh I mean, it's just mind-numbingly stupid. Yeah. Why are you here then? You know what I mean? Go back to wherever you came from. Right? If there no if there's no redeeming quality of like why are you here go away. And then let those who love and care and cherish the nation have a try. Right? But all the the hubris of the communist of I can fix everything, I have all the answers, and you're just a brain-dead midwit at the end of the day, who's willing to use violence to achieve your means. Because that's what most of humanity are, just a bunch of brain dead midwits, violent, brain dead midwits that think they have all the answers.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, let's talk about violence and using it to achieve your your goals. So we have some pretty heavily contrasting images that have emerged over the last couple weeks. One of those images was a white nationalist group of men who was in Washington, D.C. recently. And an image that came out. So Fed Front? Yeah. Fed front? Yep. The image that came out on social media was this black woman on the subway station sitting down in her seat amongst all of these white nationalists with their faces covered and whatnot. And um then I I saw a post of Irina um oh my gosh, I can't remember. I'm so sorry, her last name. Um, right, on the subway in North Carolina. Um It's just they try to portray this is America 2026, and it's all these white nationalists on this subway when they're surrounding this black woman blocking her in. And you're like, these guys actually do anything to her. Yeah, no, they're just sitting there. If anything, I'm sure one of them maybe said hello.
SPEAKER_03Maybe. Maybe. You don't know. Probably didn't say a damn word. No. Because they have instructions. Don't even say anything. You just go around there, march, do your thing, get back on your little deal, and walk away.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but you know, a a white girl from Ukraine gets stabbed in the neck by uh an insane black man on the rail, and he deserves to walk free.
SPEAKER_03Um Yeah, but those guys sh should be put in prison just simply for exercising their First Amendment right. Yeah, and being extremely suspect. Right. But they're not breaking any laws. No. And didn't cause And then it turns out that lady like 30 minutes before that was stripping on the on the subway or pissing on the subway or doing something, some lewd, some lewd act. And you're just like all of a sudden she's on her perfect behavior. That that was like the meme going around.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but now you've you've got the uh the the liberal news media doing their job. You know they're they're reaching out to her brother, the woman's brother who was on the subway with the white nationalists. And oh, did she have uh does she have post-traumatic stress disorder? Oh, dude. The the they're like, we reached out to her brother for comment here, or he reached out to us and he was telling a He reached out to us and he said, I give you a comment for five grand. Yeah, he was like, I couldn't believe it. I was on social media and I saw this post of these white nationalists on this train surrounding a black woman, and next thing I know, that's my sister. And I'm like, okay. What does that mean? Yeah, your sister was highlighted in a uh spotlight moment.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, okay. Then was she injured? Does your sister have mental illness? Like, why was she getting naked on a train? I didn't hear anything about this. Getting naked on a train, you're killing me. Yeah, that's what I saw. I mean, we have incomplete information, but I guarante I guarantee it was right. It's true.
SPEAKER_02So I guess the thought is is that. What's our time right now? I gotta be aware. 732. Alright, we got a few more minutes here. Yeah. Um the the complete thought of this is that a picture's worth a thousand words, and those words, the way that they're spun and the written really matter. Yeah, depends on the author. Yeah. That that could have been a completely different article. It didn't have to be a negative connotation. Um, could have been white nationalists parade around Washington, DC and show the utmost respect.
SPEAKER_03No, you know what's funny is um someone I saw someone put a thing together the way they took these major headlines from all these things talking about whiteness. Yeah. Remember whiteness, whiteness. And he's, I just replaced whiteness with Jewishness. And he was like, let's read the same highlight, but with Jew, and it's just like, you know, you're you're like, okay, well, why is it have it's it's okay to say that generalized about white people, but the minute you put the minority group in there, it's just incredibly racist, xenophobic, and you're just like, the left is exactly. Who they say you are and their heart of hearts because they don't challenge their assumptions. And if you were just challenge your assumption for a second, that's where the humanization occurs because you're like, oh, we're kind of the same. Yeah. Wow. But if you just operate off of assumption, all white people are racist, guess what? You're a racist. I guess we are, man. And it's it's it's pretty funny. I was looking at the the outrage going on with the Odyssey and the retconning going on, where we're telling it from a feminist perspective, a retelling of this whole thing. And I was kind of I was kind of charged up about it. And then I'm I'm reading Confessions by Saint Augustine, who, if you don't know who am I saying the name right? Saint Augustine? Yeah, Saint Augustine. Yes. Saint Augustine of Hippo. Um he's this was written in the year 300, something like that. 342 AD. And he's talking about the debauchery of having to learn the Greek language and all the Greek epics, and just he's talking about this exact story. And he's like, as a kid, I was couldn't couldn't have loved it more. And then now, after he's sort of on his spiritual journey, he's just seeing of just how void and empty. One of his biggest critiques of it was Homer um ascribed all the sins of humanity onto the gods, and it was used as justification. So I was like, Well, Jupiter's an adulter, so I can be an adulterer. Poseidon was a this sin, that sin, and it was it was used as justification for sins. I was like, well, if the gods sin, why can't we sin? And that was like, so then so I'm like kind of reading this and then I'm seeing the outrage about the Odyssey, and I'm like, I don't know. That kind of might be poetic justice. Yeah. You know what I mean? That it's just being retconned. Yep. And so God works in mysterious ways.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I was actually thinking about seeing if you wanted to see the Odyssey. I'll probably like it. Yeah. If I go see it and pretty good.
SPEAKER_03Fuck it. Yeah. I'm sure there's gonna be some good stuff in there. Yeah, I mean, I just there's definitely questionable choices if you're if you're gonna stay true to the time period. I mean, these guys are wearing steel. You're like, this is not this is not even bronze age, right? These guys barely had bronze. What are we talking about here? Yeah. We weren't exactly following the historical. Yeah, they're all wearing. But I mean, obviously it's it's his aesthetic that he wants. Yeah. But I'm sure it's I'm sure it's fine. Is this a Michael Bay movie?
SPEAKER_02No, Christopher Nolan. Christopher Nolan. Oh well, still action-packed. Yeah. Always. So. Okay. Um, last thought. What are what's gonna happen in Iran?
SPEAKER_03What's gonna happen in Iran? Yeah. Dude, who knows? I mean, is it the hubris of Trump getting involved in the quagmire of the Middle East thinking that he's got the one with the solutions? I don't know. But it sounds like he's just gonna hammer him. He's he's he's at the uh whatever. Let's just smash him.
SPEAKER_02I heard claims he was gonna likely take over their major oil export. Yeah, we're taking the oil, yeah, the um whatever island. Yeah, where they house all their oil and stuff and control the import and export of oil. Well like well, he should.
SPEAKER_03Well, if he was gonna point to do that, he'd just be peppering the coast every single day, softening it up to allow for a pepper the coast. Yeah. Oof. Allow for an invasion. Yeah. And then it's a sort of or what you could do is just knock out every single ship. Anyone that ever tries to even attempt to get close to it. I guess you could do that. But the thing that we've learned is Trump says one thing and does another. So he's trying to always shift the thing. I mean, he's definitely showing more aggression. I think we hit 170 targets. So I guess he's just trying to show the IRGC that don't mistake my kindness for weakness. Maybe that's what he's trying to show them. But I'm certainly not going to side. Oh, that's what I was gonna say about Charlie Kirk earlier. Is I remember that that video that I sent you, the guy saying about Iran? And it was like all these arguments that Candace Owens, the Iranian propaganda put out on social media. You're like, oh boy. So you're inadvertently pushing the Iranian line.
SPEAKER_02You're like, I'm never gonna side with them, sorry. It's funny. On this latest round of bombings that Trump ordered on Iran, the state media of Iran was out of one of their major fortresses where they film all of their state propaganda and feed it out to the nation. And they have this woman on the television saying that no missiles will ever reach us here. And then 30 seconds later, the whole building shakes, dust is blowing out everywhere, everyone's evacuating, and you're just like, That's how you know that's propaganda. Yeah. You guys are not as strong, and you are not as protected as you think you are.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think he was just hoping that they would come to their senses, and it's just like I mean, it made I mean, for a sensible human being, it makes sense. Hey, you're gonna be back on the world stage and actually making money and all this, and these IRDC guys are like, man! God wills it! God wills it. Yeah, it's no mercy for them, I guess. I don't I don't understand it. Who knows? Maybe it's cause I mean, God, talk about some ugly motherfuckers though, right? I mean, them, I mean, it's just like, what is going on?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Did you see the uh that cut Trump cut ties with trade with Spain recently?
SPEAKER_03Cut ties with all the lies that you've been living in. That's right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Fucking communists. Man, they need to straighten out. They got that liberal president over there and it ain't working out for them.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, 500,000 African migrants, citizens overnight, stroke of the pen, no active parliament or whatever they have, their system of government over there.
SPEAKER_02Trump's, you guys make a lot of money dealing with this, but you're gonna learn. Yep. It's interesting the financial leverage the United States has over its working partners.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we've always had the leverage, and we've just let these people take advantage of us and no more. And that's that's one of the things that I support so much. Is I don't know if I'm necessarily he's correct or whatever, but in that he is absolutely correct. It's like an enough's enough. It's enough of sacrificing our livelihood for ingrates. Yeah, I agree. Um like, why do you have socialized medicine? Because you don't have a fing standing army like we do. That's why. Why don't we have that over here in America? Because we pay for your defense. That's why.
SPEAKER_02Well, I would just like to say I partook in some of that socialized medicine over there in Spain at one point in my life, and uh it wasn't that great compared to what we got over here. Yeah. Might be a little bit more pricey here, but that socialized medicine ain't that great. Mm-hmm. You don't get the top of the top, the cream of the crop working on you, I'll tell you that. Yeah, because it's it's mandated. It's not innovative. And you know who the only people are that get to choose who does their work on them? The government? Yeah. The people at the top. Mm-hmm. Sounds a little communisty to me. Yep.
SPEAKER_03Interesting. Health by committee.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, not a big fan of.
SPEAKER_03Who gets who gets the operation and who doesn't get the operation? Yep. As opposed to who could compete for the operation. So I guess that's one of the things, right? Where it's like, well, you better have a family member that's in government or you better be in government. That's that's the only incentive. So I guess honestly, I I so if you're just kind of like looking at that, you're like, so the communists can't stand the capitalists because they were just they're just better players. Way better players. And I I can understand it because I my bank account's not looking too pretty. Yeah. I'm pretty shut out of all these things. So I get it. I get the the urge to be envious. So the communists is well, there's more of us, so we'll steal power, and then I'll determine that I get the services that suck. Yeah, it's pretty terrifying. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Terrible way to live, in my opinion.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I mean envious like you you act because you're poor, like poverty is virtue. No, it's grace and humility are virtue.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely. Great note to leave off on, I think. Cool. And we'll stay in touch with all of our latest news and updates regarding politics, culture, and uh religion in the world in the United States. And uh we'll be sure to keep you informed and up to date on the next episode of the Spark Show.
