Let's just kick this off with the first question of the evening. If you're ready. And that question is where did you come up with your stream name?

Okay, so my government name it translates to something to do with the moon. So my sister started calling me Mooney. And then one day I was thinking of the song Murder on My Mind, and the light bulb came on, and I was like, Mooney on my mind. And that's where that's where it came. My government name. Yeah. Quotation mark.

So what got you into streaming?

Um, I've wanted to do it forever. Like growing up, from like the time I was 14 up until now. I would watch like YouTube people playing games. And I was always like, that would be so much fun to do. And one day this year I was just like, screw it, let's go for it. And I did. And I'm so happy I did because I wouldn't be here if not.

Yes. June 27th of last year. And it was an Animal Crossing stream.

And it worked for the one stream I did, and then I couldn't get my capture card to work after that. So that's why there's only been one Animal Crossing stream here. That that's the only reason. Who was her first? Yes.

So is there any other platforms that you stream on other than Twitch?

SPEAKER_04 8:11

Not at the moment. When I first started, I would stream on TikTok, but it would mostly be just like me crocheting and listening to music or just random stuff. And then kinda a TikTok has kind of been like pushed aside at the moment. But one day I plan on streaming on TikTok. Like maybe here and YouTube or here and TikTok. Branching out a little bit anyway. You know?

I do know, I do know. And um yeah, TikTok kinda is just it's kind of hit or miss some days for me. That's why I just like when I first started doing the pod, I was doing the the dual streaming on the both, but yeah, it it it just it it does, it just you it's hit or miss. And I was go ahead, sorry.

Sorry, um, I only have the one monitor right now, so I don't know how I would be able to keep up with both um chats at the same time because I use my phone for my to watch chat now. So I would have to add something if I wanted to do that, I think. And also TikTok, the people over there are are tend to be a little more open with how they speak is a nice way to put it.

So what kind of games do you stream or what is your favorite type of game that you enjoy streaming?

Um, I like doing like co-op games a lot because sometimes it's hard for me to like think of something to talk about while focusing on a game. But if I'm playing with people, it like fills the silence more because I'm not really having to think about what I'm saying to them, I guess. I like those, and then I like story games, obviously, because I've streamed Dragon Age like 20 times already. It's taken 20 streams to do it.

And you know, there wasn't a single Dragon Age clip anywhere on your Twitch or TikTok when I was trying to do your promo video, you know. When when I have uh hybrid do these voiceovers for um for the promo videos on TikTok, I go to go to the channels and it's and it's you know shows like the last six games or something that y'all played. Dragon Age was the number one on your thing. So I just sent him the list, and that's why he included it. And I was like, okay, cool. Let me go and see if I can find anything, like a clip or something, and there was nothing.

I mean I'm not the biggest fan of horror games because I d I'm such a scaredy cat. But I've dat like I dip my toes in some, but I don't think I would play Outlast ever because the chasing element is like the scariest part for me a lot of the times. And that's all Outlast is, and I just don't think I could handle that. Especially like on camera, a nightmare in itself.

I am a waitress at this family-owned restaurant in this town over from me. And I work during the day most of the time while my son is at school. And I used to work, I've been there on and off since May of 2018. So a good chunk of my life has been spent at that place. But I'm everyone loves me there now. They're like, Where were you yesterday? I'm like, I'm allowed to have a day off every once in a while.

That's a good question. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up for real for real. I before I had my kid, I was going into nursing school. Like I was getting ready to go to do that. But I don't think I could be a nurse because I think I'd be just too sensitive to deal with like the sad part of the industry. But I think something like still like health related, maybe. Like I thought about being a massage therapist and if the job market was like better around here, I would go to do something in music. Like be a conductor or something. That that's like the dream.

Well, right now, personal life is like so hectic, so I'm kind of just on a as I can stream, which usually ends up just being Wednesdays and Fridays. Um, but before that it was Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Because I was doing Saturday before that, and then I was like, I kind of just want a day to just have to me because it's the only day I have like off work and kid free, and I can just be like a person, you know what I mean?

So when you do stream, what is your normal stream time? And is it mornings, evenings?

It's so if I go live on Wednesdays, it's usually between like four and seven. And then Fridays or any other night, it's if I do stream, it's from eight-ish until I'm done. So usually about like 10 or 11 central time.

I like how she says uh until I'm done-ish, and then just says two hours later. You know, like make it seem like you're gonna go until the sun goes up now. We're just gonna do two hours.

No, I mean, no, yeah. There there was one stream where I like didn't mean didn't plan on it, but I stream like eight and a half hours, and I was like, that's not like a normal thing for me. So it it they usually range between like two to three hours, I would say.

Hmm. I guess mostly like tech issues, especially like at the beginning of this, before I got the new PC and my Ethernet cord and whatever, I would literally like disconnect from stream over and over. Like it would say, Oh, we'll be right back, and then I'd have to fix it. Oh, we'll be right back. It was back and forth and back and forth, or it's like my blurps aren't working, or I forget to like refresh something that I'm supposed to. So I guess just like the background stuff would be it.

So you've already answered that one, which was the game first game you streamed, you answered Animal Crossings. If you were to get another capture card, would you uh do Animal Crossing again?

Well, I don't think it was the capture card, I think it was my old PC was garbage. Like, I don't I really don't know how I was able to stream at all on it because it it would even like connected to the internet and whatever, it would take forever to download anything. You can even see on like the oldest clips that I have, my camera's all choppy, and the audio and video is not matched up, but I have the same camera, same monitor, same everything. It's just the tower that changed. So um hold on. I lost it, it's gone. It's gone. I don't know what I was saying. Yeah, I'm out. What the heck there was the fuck could you literally I could feel it just flying?

No, I would literally, if I wanted to post a clip to TikTok, I would have to take the clip and put it in like cap cut or something, get the sound from the video and like move it over until it would match up to like my mouth moving. It was a process, and like the phasmophobia montage of clips I have, I had to do it to all of those.

And there's like a pig level and a dinosaur level. I never beat it. I didn't and I don't know if it's because I was a kid or if it's because it's just too hard. Because I think I went back to it at like 16 and I was like, I still can't beat it. I still can't do it.

And I just like went into him for like 30 seconds, and then afterwards I'm like, No, no, no, no, you're right, you're right. And Summer was laughing, I was laughing. That was funny. Um, there's an a moment in peak where we've we're like trying to go across a vine or something, and I jump and she's like, I don't think you can make it. I'm like, no, it's fine, it's totally fine, and then I fall and immediately die. Just traumatic. No, it's funny, it's so funny. And then the repo thing with Wally.
