Beyond the Stream
Howdy howdy, I'm Bullet. I've been streaming on Twitch since 2015 and have had a lot of ups and downs on this streaming journey. I took a step away from streaming in 2018 and recently got back into streaming late 2024. Since getting back into streaming, I have been all about supporting small streamers, and helping them grow their communities. I started a shoutout series on TikTok every Sunday called "streamer Sundays", where I shout out a small streamer and help get their names out into the world. And that dawned this podcast, I wanted to go further than a 2 minute video. I wanted to sit down and pick the mind of these small streamers and see what gets them to hit "go live". So join me as I sit down with small streamers every other week and get to know these streamers Beyond the Stream! Side note, all of the episodes are lived streamed to Twitch and Tiktok so there will be some interactions throughout the episode.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, the one and only Miss Hey Buggy. Welcome in, Buggy. How you doing? I'm doing good. I'm doing good. Just relaxing. Just relaxing. Just relaxing. It's the bug. There she is. Yep. There you go. There you go.
SPEAKER_02Hello, everybody.
SPEAKER_00Alright, so bugs, we're not gonna waste no time here. We're gonna jump right on up in this. They said that the mic is fixed now, so we're gonna get started here. You ready? Because I'm ready. Where did you come up with your stream name Heybuggy?
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. I get this one all the time. So growing up, my nickname was Haybug. Um and my eldest niece started calling me Buggy instead of Heybug. Um, and it kind of just stuck like Buggy, Heybuggy. Um, so I kind of put the two together and that's how I got it. But heybuggy with two G's was taken on Twitch, so I just added a third G. And I was like, why not?
SPEAKER_00Ooh, we got an imposter buggy out there? That's crazy. Yeah. Well, yep, yep. Fox says they're just gonna change your title to leave it to buggy, so I guess it doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_04No man.
SPEAKER_00So, what got you into streaming?
SPEAKER_04My best friend, um, my IRL best friend, we worked together at my old job. It was like a little hot dog stand, it was it was pretty fun. But she actually streamed on Twitch, and I was like, man, you look like you have so much fun, and it all meeting all these new people, and she made so many new friends. I was like, I want to do that. And she's like, just try it. She's like, You got the personality for it.
SPEAKER_05So I did, and I've loved it ever since.
SPEAKER_00Well, you definitely do have the personality because we love the bubbliness of you, and we love our Borty, says Sassy. Bortney. Yes, that is bored. Uh so glad to have met you, Buggy, says Chef. And ever since people who've been misspelling trying to raid you ever since.
SPEAKER_05Yes. It is pretty funny.
SPEAKER_00So if you can remember, how long have you streamed for?
SPEAKER_05I started streaming and oh boy.
SPEAKER_04I think it was April of 2024 I started streaming.
SPEAKER_00April of 2024. And if you can remember, we'll just skip down the quota because this is further down the list, but if you can remember, what was the first game that you streamed?
SPEAKER_04Apex Legends. I was obsessed with that game for the longest time. I thought I was I thought I was goaded at it. Uh I was not.
SPEAKER_00Uh Cool Cake says, I want to know what inspired Bug to stream.
SPEAKER_04I uh I think what really inspired me was not only seeing Bort like make friends and and grow, and then she was like, Oh yeah, you know, I make you know a couple bucks here and there every couple months, like, and it's nice. And I was like, I want to do that. And I was like, I feel like I got the personality to like be able to be out there and and and hang out with people and make new friends and and learn new games too, on top of that. And it's been kind of nice. So like that's kind of like what inspired me. It's like I want to meet friends. I want to meet friends.
SPEAKER_00Sassy says she got quotations it because you do have the it factor. I I try. Let's see, where are we at? So do you stream on any other platforms other than Twitch or is it mainly on Twitch?
SPEAKER_04It's mainly Twitch. I did start a YouTube channel very recently to like upload VODs or like clips and stuff for specifically uh heybuggy streams. But I do have a TikTok, but like I'm like, I just post um clips and whatnot there. I don't go live there per se. I don't know. I am not tech savvy and a lot of people know that. So trying to um like double stream it probably would be a mess. I know I would break something and sassy would yell at me.
SPEAKER_00And sassy would never do something like that. Never see sassy here. I was trying to give you the benefit and then you just yeah, would because you would have to fix it. Okay, fair enough. So what types of games do you stream, or do you have a favorite type of game that you stream?
SPEAKER_04Um so I typically play a lot of spooky games between like Fazz the other side, um, Fears of Fathoms, Blair Witch, Demonologist, More Choice Assistant, like those kind of spooky. I guess it would kinda be like indie horror on top of that. But I do throw a little bit of like FPS in there, like Art Graders, Apex, um, Fortnite with my nephew. I don't really play story-based games, but I haven't found one that really sticks with me. Uh, and I don't I don't know what really defines seven days. I don't think that would be an FPS game.
SPEAKER_00Um I consider I consider it like a survival type game. A survival? That's what I would classify it as.
SPEAKER_04Build craft type deal.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Have you beat Mortuary's assistant as Thunder Wrex?
SPEAKER_04Thunder, I have not, actually. I believe I've only gotten two endings because I tend to I tend to get possessed pretty quickly.
SPEAKER_00She won't play BG3 for uh seven days as the horror survival crafting and some of those too. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Well, okay, I won't play Baldur's Gate 3 because I get friend zoned by everybody in that game, and it's kind of embarrassing.
SPEAKER_00So on the opposite spectrum of that qu previous question, what games will you not play? Like, absolutely not, cannot pay you enough to play them.
SPEAKER_04Oh goodness. On stream for sure, like Overwatch, because I was a fan of that one for the longest time. Can't do that anymore. Valorant, that one looks very toxic. Uh probably probably Call of Duty 2, because that that one's definitely fast-paced and rough for sure. I would play Valheim. The problem is I end up getting like lost in the sauce pretty much, and I'm like, oh, there's seven hours later.
SPEAKER_00That's the uh that Viking game, isn't it?
SPEAKER_04It is, it is, it's super fun. I love it. I I built a whole world. I think I have a thousand hours alone on just a single world that I built where like people could join and it would be super easy for them to you know grab some tools and go exploring.
SPEAKER_00That's crazy. I've never played. I uh used to watch somebody. My my best friend used to play it all the time, and I would watch him. And that was before I had a PC, and I was like, Yeah, if I ever get a PC, I'll jump on and play with you. I got a PC, and then he stopped playing it, and I was just like, Oh, okay, well, I guess I won't play it then. Uh Seth says a community server, she never let us on again. Oh, you're gatekeeping them. Come on, buggy.
SPEAKER_04My problem is I have a very particular way of how I like to organize my boxes, and they came in there and they touched every box, and it stressed me out.
SPEAKER_00They touched the box.
SPEAKER_04So I'm like, never again, never again.
SPEAKER_00Well, I I I feel honored that you say that because knowing that you're so OCD with your your supplies and crafting and everything, and that I you have named a box after me on seven days, so that that makes me feel honored. Yup, it's in quotations.
SPEAKER_04Bullet!
SPEAKER_01Bullet part.
SPEAKER_00So if you're comfortable answering this, what do you do for a living to f what funds your stream?
SPEAKER_04Oh man, so I am a full-time legal assistant and a part-time coach. I'm no longer a bartender, so that's kind of nice. But yeah, nope, the legal assistant kind of pays pays the bills so I can have fun on video games.
SPEAKER_00There you go. So guys, y'all heard it. Don't if y'all mess up, y'all y'all know who to call. Y'all just call Boogie. Boogie will get you squared away. Uh let's see.
SPEAKER_04I I can't give you legal advice, but I can give you friendly advice.
SPEAKER_00Don't break the law. There's your friendly advice. Uh Cake, we have that question down the the Q friend. Apollo says, so she's a short fuse with us on seven days. Got it.
SPEAKER_04I um don't mess with my boxes.
SPEAKER_00You hear that, people? She's actually really smart considering the things everyone has clipped during stream.
SPEAKER_04We talk about that on a daily basis. Everyone like Sassy's like, you know, stream gets the ditzy, I have a graphics card buggy, and then you know, off stream, everyone gets like the legal assistant that can answer questions and phone calls about, you know, estate processes and deeds and wills type deal. Oh, it's so funny.
SPEAKER_00Uh Tilly asks, what kind of legal, like crime or business?
SPEAKER_04So I am in the probate business. So we do a lot of guardianships of um people that are deemed incompetent, so they can't take care of themselves or their property. We do a lot of estate work, uh, which is like when you pass away and you don't have like uh a will or anything set up for that, you have to go through the estate process for your sick your, you know, your family or your next akin to get your your assets, I guess. Um, and then we do a lot of deeds, wills, financial power of attorneys, durable power healthcare type stuff like that.
SPEAKER_00So I buggy, she gets you squared away. Yeah. So you don't have to go into PC specs. Um, and maybe this is a sassy question, but what is your current setup for your streaming? Like what's your monitor setup, what's your headset?
SPEAKER_04Um I don't really know anything about my computer specifics. I feel like I need to write these down. Yes, it is a Nick question. He knows more about like what exactly I know I have a Ryzen 7 in there.
SPEAKER_05That's about all I know.
SPEAKER_04Um and I don't know. My second monitor is not a good one, it's just kind of like just to have a second monitor. Um, and then my actual monitor is a Kukuru K-O-O-R-U-I. It's pretty good. It's pretty good. I like it. Nick handles her physical PC stuff. I handle the tech work for sh. Yeah, he does.
SPEAKER_00And that's why that's why Buggy's such a great streamer because she has everybody else. She just sits down and pushes the go live button and just gives us her bubbliness. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I will say I do have uh two sets of headsets. So I have the razor quartz edition, it's like a pink headset, and that's the one that has my little horns and stuff on it, but it's a wired one. Um, and then I just got the IEM's oh man, KZ Pros. And then I bought the Bluetooth uh add-on that you can get with them. So I can use them wired or wireless, but I kind of like I like the wireless because you know you can just walk out of the room and still hear.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we love the uh the the um the cowhorn headset that that makes you buggy. That makes you uh the boreard.
SPEAKER_04I thought about trying to get like hair clips so like I could clip them into my hair, but I have such thin hair on the top of my head that they would probably just slide out.
SPEAKER_00Uh honestly though, that's all buggy needed. She brings the hard part in all the seriousness. Bug is work smart, not tech smart. I mean, I'm the same way. I don't know jack about technology.
SPEAKER_03I did not grow up with it. I was outside. Yep.
SPEAKER_00I may have missed it, but why the barnyard as Apollo?
SPEAKER_04So I named it the barnyard because I have been obsessed with cows since I was little. And where do cows live? In the barn, in the barnyard. And I figured if I'm going to grow a community, I want it to kind of be like cow related because I was always like, oh, I'm the main heifer. I'm the main heifer. Because that's that I mean, if you don't know, that's what a female cow is called. So I was like, okay, I'm top, main heifer. I was like, what can I call everybody? And I was like, I want to call the community something barn related. I was like, oh, barnyard. And then I remember like growing up, I watched a movie um called The Barnyard, and I love that movie. I was like crazy, chaotic cows just getting into trouble and stuff. I was like, I want this vibe in a stream community, like just crazy.
SPEAKER_00Hence the background with the cow print and everything. So you were look when I asked you to be on this and you said yes, and because you know I make all the overlays and stuff, custom to each guest. When you said yes, I was like, all right, I I knew what I was going to make your overlays before I even asked you. So I was like, she's gonna be like so simple, just cows and farm and barns and everything. So yes.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00Crimson Mama asked another foul fellow cow lover here, what is your favorite kind of cow?
SPEAKER_04Oh my gosh, I've always been obsessed with Jersey cows. They're just like they're the lighter brown cow. I don't know. To me, they've always felt so like softer. Um, and I remember like I think I was in second or third grade, I went to this local uh cow farm that my dad was best friends with the guy that owned it. And I actually got to like lay on this like pregnant cow, and it was a Jersey cow, and I was like, oh my god, she's so soft. And that's when I like just fell in love with cows.
SPEAKER_00Cow farm, you don't have cows outside. Yup. Uh everyone asks us in other channels if she knows what we call her why we call her that. And I'm like, dude, she named herself that. Well, I mean, yeah, that's true. I'd say which kind of cow gives you the chocolate milk?
SPEAKER_05Miss Cow Lover. I wish I knew. I don't know that one.
SPEAKER_00She's a phony, guys. So what does your stream schedule normally look like? How often do you try to stream weekly?
SPEAKER_04I typically stream three nights a week, unless I have to cancel one or two. Um, but it's Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays, uh, 7.30 p.m. start time. Uh uh, yeah. 7.30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time is my start time.
SPEAKER_05And it kind of goes to whenever I feel.
SPEAKER_03What about strawberry milk?
SPEAKER_00I don't see letters on strawberries. See, this is the the the chaos you were talking about from the barnyard.
SPEAKER_05Yep.
SPEAKER_00You guys, this is an every night this is an every night thing on on one of her streams. So be sure to go check her out for sure. What are some ground rules for your channel for someone new coming in? You know, you got that okay guide it rule block block they gotta hit before they can chat. You don't have to remember it exactly, but what are just some generic ground rules for first time? Chatters.
SPEAKER_04Um, so I don't like the spammy part. Like if somebody comes in and redeems like five of my sounds like back to back to back to back, because typically they don't have cooldowns for people, uh that can like cause like people to get overstimulated pretty quick. And it's like, yes, we are chaotic. Yes, we can get a little loud and crazy and whatnot. But I was like, if it's something that I can limit to where like people are like, oh my God, I can't stand being in this chat, like I gotta leave. I want to minimize that. So for sure, it's like the spamming of like sounds. It's one thing if like one person's redeem and then another and then another, but if it's the same person, it's like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, then I'm like, nah, we gotta, we gotta take, take down a little bit. Um I absolutely yes, bullying for sure, for sure. I don't put up with bullying. Um, as a seven-year, oh no, this is my eight year as a cheer coach. I tell all of my girls every year, I have a zero bullying tolerance. I don't care what the school's policy is, but my policy is if I catch you bullying somebody, you're going to sit. So I don't there's there's a difference between like little banter, ha ha, like you know, the pick in between two friends, but then there's another, like when you're just being mean to somebody like plain out in chat, then I'm like, no, you you're gonna go in a timeout, go sit in the corner, think about what you did, you can come back and apologize, it'll be fine.
SPEAKER_00Uh Greenie says, but you bully me. Hollows, cough coughs, yeah, whatever.
SPEAKER_04Greenie deserves it.
SPEAKER_00It's fine. I uh I do not bully. Oh, Greeny, yes, you bully everyone too, says Chef. I thought you were calling me out. Oh, whoa, whoa, I do not. I do not. Yeah, I uh I I I come in and I just wait to get that perfect scare on you because you know my walk-on is is the same one I use every time, and you know it's me. It's you know it's me. You don't even look at it, you're just like, it's the Phasma Whisper for those don't know. It comes in and goes, Oh yeah, and she goes, I'm just like, hi boogie, how you doing?
SPEAKER_04I I think the one time it was either it it wasn't last week, I think it was the week before somebody else redeemed it, and I was like, bullet, but like I was so focused to like end the game, and then I looked and I was like, wait, you're not a bullet, you're an imposter.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah. What is a big pet peeve of yours during stream? Oh I um that's a tough one.
SPEAKER_04I would probably say, like, if I'm playing with a group of people and like if I'm just doing my thing, like uh playing a game or whatnot, like if I have people join, I kind of expect them to like just go do their thing. Like if I'm like, for example, I play a lot of fast. So if like if I'm just standing in the truck talking to chat, like just go play the game, like just enjoy the night, have you know, go for the round. Like, I'm gonna be standing here talking if I'm doing something or writing my you know sticky notes for subs and whatnot. You don't you don't gotta be in my butthole.
SPEAKER_05Like, yeah. But I think that's really only like my major pet pee when it comes to like stream.
SPEAKER_00Uh Chef says this has been joking about missing my ribs since he found out I was getting removes. And she says she expects us to go get the ghost while she van presses us. It's fine. It is fine, it's fine. She says somebody gotta be able to restock the truck, right?
SPEAKER_03Exactly.
SPEAKER_00What's a game from your childhood you wish you could if you could go back and play again for the first time? What would it be?
SPEAKER_05Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so it's on a Game Boy color, and it is Yogi Bear Gold Rush. I used to sit there for hours, like I would let the batteries die in that thing.
SPEAKER_05Played that game.
SPEAKER_00I I remember playing the Game Boy till the batteries died, and it sucked too. Like when you know it was fixing to die, and you're just like, Oh, I can't, I can wait it out, I can wait it out, and then like it dies before you shut up, before you save, and it's like, no.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah. Then I'm like crying to my mom, like, mom, I need new batteries.
SPEAKER_00We need them. Stat mom, this is a code, code battery right now. Let's go. It's it's an emergency. Do you have a favorite game, whether offline or online?
SPEAKER_04Oh, my favorite game has to be Seven Days to Die. Uh, anytime I have like free time, I've just been on it, whether it's the server world that Sassy and I have together with our communities, or it's uh my quote-unquote grandma world, as Sassy puts it. I made a scary zombie apocalypse game into a cozy uh like cozy stream game.
SPEAKER_05It's kind of funny.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I can see you doing that too. I can see you doing that. And I just love, love seeing getting notifications in Discord from Sassy and all caps letters. Who moved my bike? Who did this? Who did that? And then I just see Grammy Buggy pop up, and I'm just like, ooh. Yeah. I've watched this woman in Veg out on seven days for 12 hours multiple days in a row. When you turn horror game into sim simulator, it's a bit terrifying. Well, I did get a notification saying that uh seven days was on sale on Steam, so I may end up buying it. Because I I put a lot of. I have probably over 600 hours on console. I've never played it on on PC, so may have to may have to get it.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah. I I am I am obsessed with it. I just enjoy the aspect because I feel like you can log in and you can literally spend hours just doing different things. Like, so it's not a repetitive thing. Like, yeah, you go and do quests and come back, go and go to twists, come back, you know, build in that kind of aspect. But like you literally could just go off to like a different side of the map, like if you play with other people and just explore and do your own thing and explore different buildings and and get different loot. It's just so to me, it's just uh it tickles my brain.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we um when I used to play it on console, I I had uh four four or five guys that we played it, and we let's see, we've made a five-story castle screen replica to some vampire show my my ex was watching at the time, and we like made that screen accurate until the green the game crashed out on us and deleted half of it, and we weren't able to rebuild it again. And then we did a gated community aspect where there was like a little it was like four or five houses and a little cul-de-sac, and we built up a big wall around it, and we just lived in that, and then we've done one where everybody went to their own biome, we came together on night on horde night and to like a little hut that we built, and then we just went on about our days again. And like we would meet up if like we needed something, like if somebody had like uh uh mini bikes for dummies or whatever, and I needed it, okay. Well, I had to trade something to them that they needed to get it, so we kind of did that, and yeah, we we've done a lot of stuff in in seven days, so yeah, I'm definitely I may have to get it again. And plus I've heard it's a lot better on PC than console, so we'll we'll see. Ever since you've started streaming, is there anything you regret not taking advantage of?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's a tough one.
SPEAKER_05I'm not entirely sure.
SPEAKER_04Because I feel like every time I've had an opportunity to to use something or you know, ask for advice or fix something, change something, I've done it.
SPEAKER_05So I'm not I'm not I don't think so.
SPEAKER_00We forced her to go after opportunity, says sassy.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that is true. That is true.
SPEAKER_00Sassy, are you doing this interview or is your client doing this interview? I feel like Sassy is your manager.
SPEAKER_03She she definitely is, a hundred percent. We love you, Sassy.
SPEAKER_00If you could collab with any streamer, whether it be a mega million streamer or just a small streamer, who would it be?
SPEAKER_05I feel like plain phasophobia with the bearded baron would probably be the best.
SPEAKER_00Never heard of him. I have to write that one down.
SPEAKER_05Yes. But it is a three instead of an E in bearded.
SPEAKER_00Definitely gonna have to write that, check that out. Uh fangirling, says Sassy.
SPEAKER_04Uh yeah, I love the Beard of Barry, and he's actually one of the people that I started watching to learn to play Faz, and that's kind of who got me hooked on Faz when I first started playing it.
SPEAKER_00He rated in, she had an absolute fit, and it was great.
SPEAKER_03So much fun to play with.
SPEAKER_00I um I I would I guess I'm definitely gonna have to check him out.
SPEAKER_03Because if he's a if if Buggy's a fan of him, I know she wouldn't steer me in the wrong direction. What has been your favorite memory from streaming?
SPEAKER_04Oh I g I would probably definitely say every time I hit a major like milestone on stream, not off stream or anything, but like when I'm sitting there, I'm like, I hit 750 followers, 850 followers, a thousand followers. It's those like moments of like all this hard work is going into this, and it's kind of like you get a reward, and then you also get to like celebrate it with like the people that are there in chat. So it was kind of nice. So I definitely would say like that for sure.
SPEAKER_03Then the break good time come on. Yeah, yeah. Now, did you or do you currently have a role model when it comes to streaming? I don't know, I don't think so. Uh I try to kind of tell myself like I don't know.
SPEAKER_04I don't think I'd necessarily like look up to anyone specific. I guess it's because like I really don't watch any of like the big, big people out there to like, oh I you know, I want to be like them someday type deal. I don't know.
SPEAKER_03I don't really think I have a role model. I gotcha. I look up to you, Buggy, because I want my barnyard to be as cool as you.
SPEAKER_04Man, um I'm I'm not the best influence. We're we're pretty bad influence sometimes.
SPEAKER_00No, I do be stealing your catchphrases though, sometimes, like you know, people getting eaten out. I'm like, you know, have have a great day tomorrow. And if you don't wake up on the right side of the bed, I'll kick tomorrow's butt for you. Or however you say it. I always mess it up, but I I try. I try.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I I I don't I try to come up with just something smart small to like say when people leave. So I'm always like, you know, you always hope somebody gets plenty of sleep. You always hope they wake up on the right side of the bed, and you hope they kick tomorrow's butt. And if they can't kick tomorrow's butt, I'm gonna kick it for them. And that's just kind of stuck with me. Because I always tell people, like, you know, I'm always gonna fight for everybody. I'm typ typically the person that was like, I'm gonna be right there, like, you know, in your corner. I got you, type deal.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, y'all don't need nationwide to be on your side. You got boogie on your side. Yep, yep. What has what was the best positive impact Streamen has given you?
SPEAKER_05I would definitely say confidence in uh definitely the ability to be able to talk to yourself.
SPEAKER_04So even though I've done a lot of like speaking in front of bigger crowds and stuff since roughly I was 12 or 13 is when I started speaking in front of bigger crowds and in entertaining people, whether it's from band, the cheerleading to drama club productions. I've always been okay, like in front of crowds, but I felt like when you're sitting in a room by yourself with a camera in front of you, it's so much different. So it's kind of giving you like that confidence to like be able to do that, like be able to talk to yourself.
SPEAKER_05So I I definitely think it's just like you know, growing confidence of things.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that confidence definitely can does does have a factor because, like you said, there's a lot of times you do speak to yourself, like because you know it's it's always uh every time you go live, it's not the same as your last time. And some nights are better, some nights are worse, and you know, sometimes it is just you in there for a while just talking to yourself. And you know, they say as long as you don't answer yourself, the people don't look at you differently.
SPEAKER_04Yep, and I mean it's it's okay, it's okay to answer yourself. It's just when you start arguing with yourself, then you're like, okay, maybe I need to maybe I need to rethink this.
SPEAKER_00All right, let's uh reboot. Hold on, guys. And you know, I told you I was gonna bring it up before we went live, but you know, having 500 people in your chat at one time can be pretty overwhelming since you know you and Sassy wanted to be on the front page of Phasmophobia.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that was insane. Oh my gosh. I am very thankful I am as small as I am because I don't I don't know how we did it. It was it the we were both in slow mo and the chat was still hover hover hover. I was like, I can't read.
SPEAKER_00As long as you don't wet yourself when you're talking back, it's fine. Yeah, that's true. That's true.
SPEAKER_05It is true.
SPEAKER_00Um yeah, it was I was there for that, and it was definitely like literally like a light switch when you y'all cause y'all were doing the the what galaxy event.
SPEAKER_04We were doing the galaxy showcase event, yep.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and as soon as y'all like hit that button, like it was like a light switch and chat just the floodgates were open. I was just like, oh my gosh. Oh yeah, and it was was it was it you or was it sassy that didn't have the the drops enabled or y'all forgot to have it set up or something because they're so yeah, we we didn't set up a uh command for it.
SPEAKER_04So like everybody that was popping in, they were like expedition point drop, expedition. I was like, oh my god, we don't have it. So we're trying to like get the link to it, set up a quick drop command and throw it in there. And um Sassy's mod had was able to uh like pin it for people so they were able to click it. It was insane, it was it was a crazy time.
SPEAKER_00Fun times, but crazy times.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So what's something small that still brings you joy in all of this?
SPEAKER_04Um I guess it would definitely be seeing the usuals like come back, and then seeing like new faces like repetitively coming back, and then you know they end up being usuals. It just always makes me happy because I'm like, you know, one of my friends always like says, like, you know, time is a valuable thing, and you're choosing to spend it with me, and like that makes me feel like really happy because I'm like, you're choosing to come spend time with me instead of doing any other thing in the world. So it always like makes me feel good, like to see like the people come back.
SPEAKER_03Yes, I would have to agree with that.
SPEAKER_00The the loyal ones definitely make it all worth it for sure, and the new people that come along and become the loyal ones definitely makes it worth it.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00Now, do you have a special catchphrase or something special you do with your chat?
SPEAKER_04Besides what I say when people like end up saying, like, oh, you know, I gotta leave, you know, have a good night. I usually I'm like, oh, I hope you get plenty of sleep tonight. I hope you wake up on the right side of the bed, and I hope you kick tomorrow's butt. And if you can't kick tomorrow's butt, I'm gonna kick it for you. I usually say that. Um, peace out, Girl Scouts, at the end of the stream. Yes, everybody is uh my bovine bessie in there. But yeah, I always say, welcome to the bind yard, new bovine bassie.
SPEAKER_00The monkey noise, says sassy.
SPEAKER_04I it's not a catchphrase, that's just me being scared.
SPEAKER_00Do you still do the the poppers when you get a new follow, or was it a raid?
SPEAKER_04So for a little bit I didn't, then that's because in like a seven-mile radius, I had bought out all of the poppers from like all the dollar stores in this area, so I had to wait for them to restock. But I did get more, so I I have them. But it's typically every time I get a follow, like on stream.
SPEAKER_00I can just hear the the clerks now. Oh, great, great. It's that popper girl. She's coming back again. Go ahead and get it run up. We know what she's here for.
SPEAKER_04I feel like they they silently judge me when I bring like 10 10 of those up. Because I think it's like they're I think they have like they yeah, they have eight in them. And when I would like buy like ten at a time, they're just they just kind of look at me funny.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, poor Timmy couldn't get no poppers for his birthday party because Buggy's done stole done done bought them all. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03What would you say has been your biggest accomplishment during your streaming career? That's a tough one.
SPEAKER_05Biggest accomplishment I would probably say is
SPEAKER_03Oh man. I would I would definitely say like sticking with it.
SPEAKER_04I think when I first started and it was like right after I hit affiliate it was like I was getting very down on myself and I was like, you know what? This is gonna be my last stream. I think it was it in it was in January of of of last year. I was like, this is gonna be my last stream, you know, I'm gonna peace out everybody and this is gonna be it. And then Sassy and her amazing community and friends raided into me. And since then I was like, I'm not I'm not gonna quit. I'm not gonna quit. Don't quit. You're you're gonna you're gonna regret it if you quit. And I stuck with it.
SPEAKER_00And now look at you are a thousand plus followers, been on here for two years now, and just have an amazing loving community. Great job, sassy, for not allowing her to give up. Yeah. Then we showed up, said Weaver. Chef says, Glad I'm glad you did, W sassy. And sassy, of course, being sassy, says, Hey, yo, welcome. Yo So on the flip side of that question, what has been the most difficult decision you've had to make while wearing your streamer hat?
SPEAKER_04I uh oh I've always been like when it comes to my family, like very close. Like we go and do everything. Anytime the kids, uh like my nieces and my nephews have like a sport event or practices or something, like I'm always there. I was always there. Uh coaching on the sidelines in the stands, it doesn't matter. I was there. Uh, and I feel like since starting stream, I've had to give up some of that to be able to like keep my streaming going and whatnot. But I've also kind of like I've told myself repetitively, like they are getting older, they're going to be in every sport. Like, it's okay to miss a game here and there. It's okay to take that time to be able to go do something that I enjoy doing, which is streaming. So I would definitely say it's definitely that.
SPEAKER_03They know Aunt Boogie loves them. Yeah. I hope so.
SPEAKER_04They're good, they're good kids.
SPEAKER_00And they've gotten more involved in stream too, says Sassy.
SPEAKER_04They have. We actually just did a fundraiser for the girls because they're both in middle school cheerleading now. Makes me feel old. But the barnyard raised $500 for the girls for their cheerleading fundraiser. So we got to go on stream and pie the girls and myself in the face because the barnyard hit that goal.
SPEAKER_02Check it.
SPEAKER_04So much fun. It was when I ended stream that night, they were like, This was so much fun. It was like Maddie is my middle niece, and she was sitting in the chair, like spinning back and forth before like I like before I went live, and I have OBS on my second monitor. She's watching herself and she's like, What's up, everybody? Welcome to my stream. I was like, it was so cute.
SPEAKER_00Starting him out, young. Get it, Buggy. Get it.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah. My nephew wants to start streaming, but he's 10. So I was like, give it a couple more years, bud.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, when when Aunt Buggy gets partner and gets thousands and thousands of followers, then I I'll take you under my way. I got your nephew. Don't worry. Oh gosh. So what has been your most satisfying experience during this journey?
SPEAKER_04I would definitely say like the uh being able to watch the growth of streams. Um and actually, probably it would be uh meeting the people that I've met and becoming very close with that with um some of them. Like it's kind of crazy to think that you know somebody somebody stranger on the internet can end up being your best friend, you know, where like their kids know you by name and whatnot. So it's kind of it's kind of nice.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, definitely. Uh and I've been a firm believer of that. Your online friends will nine times out of ten be closer than people you see, you know, every day. Oh yeah. Uh Weaver says me and her nephew are Fortnite buddies.
SPEAKER_04Oh my gosh. Yeah. Every time my nephew will text me and he'll be like, is Weber on Fortnite? Can Weber get on Fortnite? I'm like, you played Fortnite with him one time, bud.
SPEAKER_00Sassy says to think you got a call today for Bubs to see you for his birthday. Internet friends are a crazy thing. That's his uh buggy.
SPEAKER_04Yes, I did. I love it. I love seeing the kids spoil them with chicken nuggets when I can.
SPEAKER_00Chicken nuggies, let's go.
SPEAKER_03Have you had your I made it moment? And if you have, what was it?
SPEAKER_04I wouldn't say it's like the sp the that the big I made it moment, but I definitely feel like I've had that moment where when I hit go live and I start to see all those names in chat, and I'm like, these are my people, you know, it makes me feel like, you know, I I worked hard and grew this community, and we're still growing, but definitely, definitely just like being able to see all those names pop up, and I'm like, I made friends, I've built this, you know, I've had help along the way. I would definitely say that's like one of my admitting moments.
SPEAKER_00Because we is the bovine besties, baby. Yeah. Let's see, get told growing up, don't talk to strangers, and here we are making lifelong friendships online, right? I agree. Exactly. Exactly, exactly.
SPEAKER_03What is one thing you want to add to your streaming setup to make it feel more complete? Oh no.
SPEAKER_04Um that's my problem, is because uh I typically just buy a lot of stuff that I probably don't need. Um but I definitely I definitely think it would probably be change of scenery. Um, like I plan to so like what you guys can't see is like this room is actually like L-shaped. So like this is like the back area and to that door, and then there's like a whole other part of the the room here. But it's kind of like our storage because it's our spare bedroom. And I was like, I feel like putting my setup on that wall will look so much more open behind me. So I was like, just I need to change the scenery. So I think that's that's my next and my next step.
SPEAKER_00So as he says the catch-all.
SPEAKER_04It is, it's got two love seats and a mattress and a second gaming computer stand. Yeah, it's it's it's crazy.
SPEAKER_00Uh Chef says get cow print wallpaper.
SPEAKER_04Uh, as if it wouldn't damage the walls because we rent here, I totally would 100%.
SPEAKER_00Darn you renters. You so you just need to go to your landlord like look, okay. So y'all don't know, okay, but I am pretty famous online, okay? And my folks want me to paint the wall and galper in, okay? So y'all need to do it because if not, they are going to be upset.
SPEAKER_04I love it. Yes, no, I definitely I definitely should be like, listen, I like I need to do this, or you know, just this this this landlord tenant just not gonna work out.
SPEAKER_00And if that don't work, just get sassy on the phone. Sassy just the spots make them pink and make it renter friendly. There you go. There you go. Just make it there you go. And guys, if y'all have any questions, feel free to chime in and ask them. We are starting to get into the harder questions, and these questions were questions that folks have asked in the past that have been added to the questionnaire.
SPEAKER_03So if you guys have anything, uh let's uh let buggy anything on What would you say is your biggest strength when it comes to streaming? My biggest what? Your biggest strength. Oh, strength. Um that's a hard one.
SPEAKER_04I told you we're getting into the hard ones. My biggest strength, I guess. Um probably would be like, I I guess I can keep myself entertained while entertaining other people. So it's like even even if like the streams like a 12-hour stream and stuff, like you know, being like, hey guys, like now we're gonna do this, and like, oh, I got party poppers, oh we got like sticky notes, like you know, oh let's do a tattoo, let's do warheads, like some just people to keep things people engaged. Like it's like it's like coming up with like ideas like that. I I definitely think it would be like uh a strength of mine.
SPEAKER_00Uh Sassy says I'm doing well, not answering for her. Uh Chef says her personality for sure, and your manager says that's one. I'm just gonna start referring to Sassy as your manager. Like Sassy, can I speak to your client, please? I need to I need to I need to message your client. Is that okay? I'll copy and paste the I'll forward you the yeah, I'll forward I'll forward you the message to see when you can pencil me in.
SPEAKER_04I just need to start CC her on everything.
SPEAKER_00I just know too much about her. I'm sorry. Yeah. But again, that goes back to that, you know, that online friend thing, like just a random stranger on the internet is you know your best friend forever.
SPEAKER_04Literally, like I could spend there would be there, there's been a couple of nights where like Sassy and I both look at each other and we're like, oh, it's 6 a.m. in the morning. Maybe we should get out of this Discord call. You know, it's it's awesome that like streaming has brought us together.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and it's just those type friendships where you can literally just be in a phone call and literally just be staring at each other, not saying nothing, and then five hours later.
SPEAKER_04That's a lot.
SPEAKER_00Because I I hopped into y'all's uh y'all's call that one time when it was you, her, Greenie, and a couple others, and literally like nobody was talking, like y'all are just all doing y'all's own things. And I'm just like, Oh, all right, all right, guys. Well, I'm I'm just gonna head on out then. There's too much excitement going on in here.
SPEAKER_04Like, um oh, I guess I guess like what's the word? Like bottled body doubling type deal. Like, you know, we'll both just be sitting there in like a voice chat together. Like, I'll be doing like dishes, which will motivate her to like get up and do something. And then when I see her doing something, I'm like, okay, I gotta keep doing stuff. So it's kind of nice, like you know, we can bounce off of each other and do that. Or like we'll be sitting here and be like, man, I really gotta fix my schedule. And she'll be like, Oh, well, now I gotta do the streaming thing. And then we're like, oh, then like, you know, three, four hours later, we're like, you know, kicking butt, taking names and stuff. It's it's it's pretty funny.
SPEAKER_00She calls me during the day so we can do housework factor. Well, y'all need to start calling me so I can get some housework done, okay.
SPEAKER_05It's it's pretty nice on those uh call days.
SPEAKER_04So much housework gets done.
SPEAKER_00Bullet, I got you. All right, I got you. I mean, I could have called y'all earlier. I was building a roof, so I could have called y'all and see y'all build a roof. Oh gosh. Uh let's see. If you were to have never streamed or done anything with content and you were to start streaming tomorrow, how would you approach it?
SPEAKER_05Oh, definitely research.
SPEAKER_04Research things are like, you know, if I didn't have the setup I have right now, like what are some small things that I can purchase that are cheap but still good quality, you know, something that I can upgrade in the future, you know, like what I did when I first started. Just kind of like research or get a feel for things like what kind of games would I be comfortable streaming? What kind of games do I need to avoid? That's I I I would definitely say definitely say that. Like just kind of research everything.
SPEAKER_00That seems to be the going answer here in the last few episodes was doing the research. I I would agree with that because when I first started, I was doing showing my age here, but when I got into this, Black Ops 3 and Modern Warfare 3 were still like hot, hot, like just come out. And that's what I was streaming. So, you know, thousands of people streaming it, and then there's little old me with like 10 followers. So definitely do your research. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I know when I first started streaming, it was like straight Apex Legends, and because that is such a heavy-based game, I was like, unless I was a god at the game, which I was the complete opposite. I was like, it's gonna be hard to be able to be seen in that game. And I feel like if I would have known that when I first started out, I would have probably switched games sooner or found something that's like with a smaller followage or viewership for sure.
SPEAKER_00Seven days to die. Just kidding. Yeah, yeah. What's a belief about streaming you had when you started that you now know was completely wrong?
SPEAKER_03Um probably uh probably that like every streamer makes a lot of money.
SPEAKER_05Definitely, I would I would probably say that.
SPEAKER_04Like, you know, when I first started, I was like, oh yeah, like making money it and it's not your primary job. I was like, that would be kind of sweet, you know, see a couple couple hundred bucks a month. And it's like when you first start out and then you hit like affiliate, you know, you might get like a 50 buck month or something. You're like, oh wow, like uh I should be making more than that. But you know usually, you know, you don't want to go into the mindset of like I'm going to make a lot of money streaming.
SPEAKER_00Yep. I agree, Chef.
SPEAKER_03That definitely is one of those thoughts that new streamers have. Other than gaming, what is your favorite hobby? Probably I like to I like to paint.
SPEAKER_04I I can be very artistic sometimes. And I have been painting big uh storefront windows in our in our in our hometown main strip. And it's kind of like it's so relaxing sometimes just to be able to sit there, draw it out, you know, paint it and whatnot, and then like be able to see people like enjoying the artwork. So I definitely would say like artwork.
SPEAKER_00So I want uh to see a Bob Ross cosplay painting stream in the future, then like I want you to do your hair up, get you a big old afro, and just give us a little AS, a little ASMR buggy voice. All right, guys, today we're going to paint some happy little clouds.
SPEAKER_04I a hundred percent would totally do a Bob Ross cosplay. Not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_00What's the goal? What is the goal? Let's go. What is we can get this set right now? What do the barnyard has to do?
SPEAKER_04Oh gosh, I don't know. I can't see any numbers because they they will they will definitely hit that number.
SPEAKER_00Well, well, we can't hit the number if we don't know what the number is. Come on, guys, help me out here. Help me out. Sassy said that would be great. Yes, see, and it's what's cool about it is is you can get the announcement and literally do like what they did on the show. You could give us the heads up, we can go get our you know canvases, and then at the start of the stream, you can be like, all right, guys, this is the paint that we're gonna use. We're using this color, we're gonna use this type of size brush, and we can follow along with the super a paint with me stream. There you go. Yes, that's what I was thinking.
SPEAKER_04Oh gosh, that actually would be like a super cute idea. And then like everyone posts in the Discord like their picture of the picture.
SPEAKER_00Even even better. See, see, look at this. We are making it come to fruition, guys. Look at that.
SPEAKER_04Well, because they already they already clipped where I was joking and I said, Oh, when I hit 2,000 followers, I'll do a 24-hour stream. And I was like, and they clipped it, so they are they are holding that against me. They're like, You hit 2,000, you're doing a 24-hour stream. I'm like, I don't wanna, and they're like, No, you promised it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it says right here. It says right here.
SPEAKER_04So maybe I'll do that. Uh I'll do that like as a part of the 24-hour stream when we hit that. Just the Bob Ross. Bob Bob Bob or Buggy Ross, I guess.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, Bug Ross. There we go.
SPEAKER_04There you go.
SPEAKER_00I mean, and you know, October is next month, so Halloween just saying costumes. We can make it happen.
SPEAKER_05We can. We can.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that definitely would be a great idea. Do you like a uh um post it in the Discord, see how how much how off or how different it was.
SPEAKER_03I'm down for it. And we clipped it, so it's it's there, so we can hold that over your head too. Gotcha.
SPEAKER_00What's your go-to on making people feel welcomed and comfortable when they first come into your stream?
SPEAKER_04Um, so usually I I'm typically good at addressing every message. So anytime I see like definitely a new, like even a first-time chatter, I'm always like, oh hey, like welcome in. Like, how'd you find us? You know, welcome to the barnyard. I try to tell them a little bit about myself sometimes, unless I'm like super focused on what like what I'm doing, like in stream. Um, but I typically try to get them to like speak or like, you know, if they follow before they say anything, I'm like, oh, welcome to the barn. I'm doing my busy. Like, and you know, here's a potty pop. And I do the party popper. And usually people are like, oh my god, that's such a cute idea. I'm like, yeah, welcome in, you know. I try to typically stay like bubbly happy. I mean, but that's just like who I am in general. Most of the time is a bubbly personality. So that usually, like, you know, I guess draw like draws people towards me is what people say. I I don't know. I'm like, I just try to be myself. Um, because I've had that feeling like, you know, growing up where like you've felt like I've felt left out, like in conversation. Conversations or friend groups and stuff, which I'm sure everybody has at one point in their life. So it's like I never want somebody to feel left out. And it's like, and if you feel left out, like please tell me so I can fix it. You know, because I'm like, I want to fix it. I wanna I want to make it right for everybody.
SPEAKER_00She is a son person, says Sassy. And I would have to agree with that. You are a very bubbly person. We're just gonna call you champagne because you're just so bubbly.
SPEAKER_03I love that. Champagne buggy in the house. Where is one area of streaming you want to grow in and be better at? Um I feel like I want to end stream with the energy I had at the start of stream.
SPEAKER_04Because most of the time in the beginning of the stream, like it's popping off, everybody's chatting. I'm like, oh my god, welcome in everybody. Like I'm super energetic. And then once I actually get into the game and kind of like relax a little bit, and then it gets later in the night and whatnot, I kind of mellow out. And then when I mellow out, I feel like chat senses that and they mellow out, and it's like, no, like I want to be energetic the whole time. And I feel like if I can end stream the way I started stream, I feel like it would be a good thing.
SPEAKER_00Energy drinks.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I had to get I gave up energy drinks.
SPEAKER_03Don't make us put you back in the corner again. So on the opposite hand of that, what areas are you not proud of? That's a good question.
SPEAKER_05Areas I'm not proud of would probably be.
SPEAKER_04So when I tend to get upset about something, it sticks with me. And if it's during stream, you definitely can see it on my face, and I hate it. Like I can't hide when I'm upset. Sassy likes to yell at me for it sometimes. And I feel like I'm like, if I could just hide it, it would probably be a little bit better. Because then everyone's like, Are you okay, Bucky? Like, what's wrong? Like, you don't look happy. And it's like, no, I'm fine, just don't don't ask me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but the sad thing is, is you know, when the loyal ones that have been around since the very beginning or have been around for a while, you you can't hide it. No matter how good you try, they can pick up the vibes.
SPEAKER_05Oh, a hundred percent.
SPEAKER_00Sassy says she yells in the most loving way possible, I promise.
SPEAKER_04She does. I know she means well.
SPEAKER_00And Pickle says, Girl, I can't hide any emotions. And Chef says if they ask, I start cheering up.
SPEAKER_03Ain't that the truth? Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But it's just crazy, just how like you like we were saying earlier, just people you've never met a day in your life that have only known you from streaming, just how well in tune they become with you, knowing your vibes, knowing your energy, and like just that one little hiccup comes up and it's like, all right, what's going on? Talk to me. You you're not yourself.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I tend to I it definitely especially with the people that kind of like know my tells and whatnot, like you know, they'll they'll message me like either after stream or during stream, and they'll be like, Hey, like you good? Be like, yeah, I'm fine. Just leave me alone. I just want to go curl up in a ball. Leave me alone. Yeah, it's like like give me two seconds to to refocus, regroup.
SPEAKER_00That says you can't even get away from us with a text for most of us.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So do you have any pre-stream rituals before you go live? Like, do you have a certain drink that you get, or do you get snacks or anything?
SPEAKER_04Um, so I guiltily when I have OBS up, I while I'm like, because I always do my makeup like right before stream. Even if I have makeup on from like the beginning of day, like if I was at work or something, I always put a little extra on because my my light um it washes me out. So like right now I have no makeup on besides just like a little bit of blush, but like I look so much whiter. Um but while I have OBS up and I'm sitting here doing my makeup, I listen and watch my starting soon video like on rape. Because I'm like the song just gets me like pumped and energized and like ready to go for stream. And then like watching the clips and stuff just makes me laugh and it puts me in a good mood.
SPEAKER_00Sassy says the catfish. Nickel says fine equals freaked out, insane, neurotic, and emotional. I mean, it is great. You did amazing with it.
SPEAKER_04I I tried. Sassy showed me how to to set up the video on Canva.
SPEAKER_00Nice. I need Sassy to to teach me a thing or two because I I want to do something like that. She made her intro video. Oh my goodness. You approve that, Sassy? So on the flip side of that question, what does your afterstream wind down look like?
SPEAKER_04Um, so after I read into somebody, I usually, you know, give it a couple minutes, like because they'll ask me, like, oh, you know, how is stream? What were you playing? Blah blah blah. Like, welcome in. And like I'll try to answer those questions quickly, and then I'm like, BRB, like uh, because usually I forget to use the restroom during stream, so I'm like, I have to pee so bad. So it's always like I go pee, then I go downstairs and I get a drink and a snack, and I come back upstairs and I sit in my chair and I just kind of like chill out. Usually, you know, I'll join up in a Discord call with like Sassy and a couple of the other people, and then I just kinda hang out and just sit and listen to everybody else talk, and then I just like bitch out.
SPEAKER_00Hey, I mean, ain't that what like all rock stars do anyway? After they get done with a concert, they just go hang out with their their party folks and just chew out on the couch afterwards.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00You're our rock star boogie. That's where I was getting with that.
SPEAKER_04Oh man. Does that wait? Does that mean like there are there you guys are my groupies?
SPEAKER_00Yes, the barnyard groupies.
SPEAKER_04Let's go.
SPEAKER_00Either geeking out or calming her down, says sassy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, pretty much. It's always funny because like when something like really big happens, like um, like the nights I got raided from the bearded baron or rotator chip and stuff, like Sassy all like as soon as I I hit like raid and then end stream, Sassy will always text me and be like, You want to geek out? And like we instantly get in a call together, and we're just like like you know, like fangirling.
SPEAKER_00I uh was watching a a TikTok live one time of a new fast player, and they were in there, like I was kind of helping them along the way because you could tell they were like brand brand new at it. And Brotator Chip hopped into chat and was talking with them, and I am fangirling over here, like, oh my gosh, I love you video so much! Like, I I've learned a lot from your content. And the the girl that was playing, she was like, Oh, well, hi, Brotator Chip, nice to see you. Thank you for coming. Like, no idea who he was, and I'm just fangirling. And then when he left, I was like, Do you not realize who that was? Like, that is like Mr. Fazlophobia himself.
SPEAKER_04The funny thing is, is the first time Brotator actually came into my stream and was like chilling in my chat. I believe I was playing with Sassy and a couple of other people, and he came in and he was like, Oh, you know, how's the game and whatnot? I was like, Oh, hey, like how are you know games are they're okay? And like, and I remember that round I didn't do anything because like I was just chilling in the truck, like talking to chat, and we got out of that and the out of that round, and they were like, Do you do you not know who that was? And I was like, Who? And they were like rotator chip, and I was like, What? And Sassy was like, What's beside his name? And my brain was like, the verified symbol, and I was like, wait, the verified symbol. So I was like, I was freaking out, I was like, oh my god, I was like, I'm not worthy for a partner who's a content creator and a partner with phasmophobia, like to be just chilling in my stream on like one of his off nights. And I was like, I'm not worthy of that. Like, what the heck? I was like, I didn't do I didn't do Jack that that round either. He probably was like, Nah, not gonna watch her again. And then, you know, a couple months later he raided into me. I was like, oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_00Just one of the biggest Phasmo content creators came into your chat and you're just like, Sup. I mean, that's our buggy, right? That's our buggy. We wouldn't expect nothing else.
SPEAKER_04Like with this little little potato wave, and I was like, Hey, what's up? Like, you know, welcome in. And like that was it.
SPEAKER_00It worked out though, because he still remembers her. Let's go. I love I love watching his videos. I've learned a lot of from Faz watching his videos.
SPEAKER_03Honestly, yeah. What has streaming taught you about yourself? Probably How do I how do I word?
SPEAKER_04Um, one thing it's probably taught me about myself is probably that I'm not as like shy as I thought I was. And I would come home. Like I wouldn't really like typically ask to like go hang out with friends because I you know, I think I only had like one or two like really close friends in school. So I always was like, you know, people were always like, oh, you're just really shy. You're just really shy. So like I convinced myself like growing up, like, oh, I'm just shy. Like it's fine. Um but like the amount of friends that I have made through streaming, I was like, I don't know, just somebody that's shy wouldn't sit there in front of a camera and actually go live and like do what we do as streamers and make friends and whatnot and hang out with people, you know. So I would definitely say it was like I I I when I growing up, I thought I was shy, but I in reality I'm not.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I definitely uh would would not take US the shy kind for sure. And it's so weird because I was the same way, like I didn't go hang out with people, like I didn't like go to parties, I didn't go hang out with friends after school, like I went to school and I went home, and even even in school, I just kind of kept myself. And if I did go to a party, like I was the guy on the couch, you know, petting the dog or the cat or whatever. Just keep it myself, just give me the d you give me the animals, I'm good. Uh chef said you just needed the right people to talk to.
SPEAKER_03Exactly. What have been the top three funniest moments that you've had watching?
SPEAKER_05That I feel like that has to be first.
SPEAKER_04I know nothing about computers, and I thought that you could add a graphics card to a computer to make your graphics better. I didn't realize that your computer literally cannot run without the graphics card. And my brain was like Sassy was like explaining it to me, like on stream and stuff, and she was like, you know, it was set on your CPU, not your GPU, or vice versa. And she's like, you know, now it's set like on your graphics card. And I was like, I have a graphics card because my brain thought like that's something you add to make your computer better, not realizing literally, like, no, that's your computer needs that to play a game. So that's definitely like my top for like top one moment for sure. Um and the like I would definitely say the pying events and the birthday cake for my birthday this year. Um, because I don't like I don't know if you you saw the clip, but my my husband was way too excited, way too excited to smash that cake in my face. So, and then the kids having the kids on it, that was it pretty funny.
SPEAKER_00I don't know what you're talking about, honey. I'm I'm just throwing this pie in your face like you told me to. There's no no pent-up aggression or anything like that. I don't know what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_04I'm just I'm so glad that I took the cake out of the fridge and let it kind of like warm up to like room temperature because I'm like a I feel like a cold hard cake that it probably would have hurt a little.
SPEAKER_00Uh, she was using software encoding versus hardware encoding for OBS. Jeff says, we've all been there, and the effing what was pretty stinking funny too, says Sassy. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Sometimes like I just let my brain say the without thinking, I just say things and chats really quick at the uh clip command.
SPEAKER_00What we're here for. That's what I mean. That that's what we're here for, right?
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah. I think that repo night we uh I think at the end of it there was 27 clips in a two and a half hour stream. It was crazy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that is crazy. At least hey, it makes easy uh for for content for TikTok, right? Oh yeah, 100%. Favorite person or group to collab with. There you go. I knew it was something along those lines.
SPEAKER_04Um, I don't typically have like a fave person to collab with. Um because anytime somebody's like, hey, like, do you want to do a collab? I'm like, uh yeah. Like I always feel uh I'm like, oh like they thought of me, like little old me. Like it just makes me feel happy. Like they they choose to ask me. So like I love collabing with anybody, anybody and everybody. Um but typically uh I feel like it's always a good group, like when I when we have like Sassy Weber, Apollo, Beef, me, you know, um in in games, because like I feel like everybody bounces off of each other so well. And like we are like the close like group of friends that like we met all through streaming and whatnot. And it's it's a yes, greedy too. Um it's we're just it's always just so fun to like be able to play with them because it they just we bounce off of each other so well. And Alex, yes, and Alex for sure.
SPEAKER_00And guys, I'm gonna throw it on record, okay? You cannot get sassy and buggy to stream at the same time. You will get yelled at and you will be fussed out. Ask me how I know. Ask me how I know. That was fun. It ain't our choice. It is your choice, Sassy. You didn't have to yell at me like that. I was just a baby, I didn't know.
SPEAKER_04So I know as streamers, like, you know, that not that golden rule is don't look at numbers. But the problem is is because like Sassy and and I share so much people when it comes to our communities, you know, because uh those people enjoy both of us. Because even though we have similarities, whether it be gameplay and stuff or how we behave and stuff, we are like different. So everybody loves us. And the reason why we stream on opposite nights is because if we were to stream together, our numbers suffer because the people can't choose like who they want to go watch. So they're always like back and forth, like the the the poor barnyard and man, like they suffer because they have to keep going back and forth on our collabs. So that's typically why we don't collab.
SPEAKER_00It's like the Monday Night Wars, you gotta flip back and forth during the commercial breaks. Yeah, pretty much. And how do I know, Duster? Because I asked Buggy first, because she was the first one that popped up on on my messages. I said, Hey, would you like to play was it the other side or Phasma? I can't remember. I think it was the other side. Because I was just starting, like I had not played it before, and I wanted to play with you guys.
SPEAKER_04Might have been the other side.
SPEAKER_00Anywho, so I'm asked, I was like, hey, I'm thinking of playing the other side, but I don't want to play it alone. Would you want to play it with me next week? She said, Yeah, that's fine. I said, You can stream it too, that's cool also. And then she said, Oh yeah, that works, we'll do that. And then I said, I'm thinking about asking sassy to join us as well. And then Buggy just said, Oh, and then just radio silent. And then I messaged Sassy, not realizing what the radio silent meant, and asked Sassy, she said, Yeah, I'm on board, that's cool too. And then I go back to message Buggy, who still has not responded after the O. And I said, Hey, I messaged Sassy. She said she's down to string two, and then all of a sudden a group chat is made.
SPEAKER_04I didn't know. Because like I I went quote unquote radio silence with bullets, because like I was like in in messaging sassy, and I was like, What what do we what do we want to do with this? Like, do we do we care if our numbers suffer? I feel like you know this would be a cool, cool collab to do. Like, but we both gotta understand, like, our numbers are gonna be awful.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so type deal. So yeah, because I was getting confused by what Sassy was saying, and I said, What are you talking about? Like, I I I literally just messed messaged Buggy, she said she was down, and then a group chat is made, and then yeah, it needs to say it didn't happen.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, we'll definitely have to plan something for sure.
SPEAKER_00I enjoy playing Faz with you guys. I learned so much, yes, lesson learned. For those that want to do that in the future, you gotta pick one or the other. Flip a coin.
SPEAKER_03Oh man.
SPEAKER_00Alrighty guys, we only have a few more questions, so if you guys have any questions for Miss Buggy, get them on there and we will let her answer them. What is a risk you've took with your content that ended up paying off?
SPEAKER_03I would probably just say, like unapologetically being myself.
SPEAKER_04you know you know sassy and them they they like to joke and say there's two sides of buggy there's buggy that the stream gets and then there's Haley that is off stream but there is a is there is a point where like both of them are kind of like similar and I don't typically have to like put on a fake facade I guess when it comes to streaming because I've always been like a bubbly outgo like bubbly outgoing person and I wanted to you know make sure I don't lose who I am when I came to streaming. If anything I feel like it's kind of brought more of it out since starting streaming.
SPEAKER_00So I would definitely say like you know being being myself and guys also don't make the mistake of calling hey buggy Haley in your chat because she will call you out on that and saying don't be throwing my government name out there like that. Ask me how I know about that too I did I did yeah I was I was playing and I was like excuse me I sure was I was sitting there playing and then I was like oh hey and and what it was was like it was a mistake because I meant I went to go say hey hey buggy but it just merged to hey loo how's it going she said uh government name what did I do I was just like I'm so sorry I didn't mean to do that I'm so you the the funny thing is is I'm so used to people calling me buggy because even my cheerleaders will call me like Coach Buggy.
SPEAKER_04And so like when somebody actually calls me by my like my real name I'm always like what did I do?
SPEAKER_00Like I feel like the only person that government names me is my mom and when my mom says it I feel like I'm getting yelled at even though she literally says her name in her bio says sassy and chef said it took me a bit to realize Hales and Buggies were two separate people.
SPEAKER_04Yeah if there's one thing you could change about the streaming world what would it be and why oh I have a list so trying to figure out what what would be the top would probably it would probably be the toxicity and the like oh follow for follow type deal like I've had a lot of like people come in that like follow me and then like you know they become a part of the community and they're chatting and whatnot and I've I've had people like whisper to me and they're like you don't come into my streams you don't do this and I support you and blah blah blah like I'm unfollowing and they actually end up unfollowing and it's like for one I am an old lady who has a full-time and a part-time job you're lucky you get me on my stream nights you know like I always felt so bad because I'm like should I be doing more to try to like reach out to like you know go to other people's streams like even if I throw them up on alurk and it's like especially like last year and the year before where I was working a full-time job and two part-time jobs on top of streaming there would be like days where I literally would get up at seven o'clock in the morning and then I would get home at like nine ten o'clock at night so it's like I didn't have time to be able to support people the way that they supported me. And some people would get toxic about it.
SPEAKER_00And it's like calm down please don't make me cry so I would definitely say like the the the toxicity of of some of these people that feel like if I support you you have to support me type deal yeah that yeah that's one of the kind of kind of going back to the you know you do it to make money type deal like if you go in with that kind of mindset you're you're not gonna make it very far and it's a really sad phenomenon yes sassy I agree with that people who feel entitled for you to be there as soon as you are alive or at least show up when you're busy says Chef. And if you think she doesn't care she does says sassy this woman cares so much that she can't be there. I do I always feel bad like if I can't uh catch people's streams I'm like I want to be at everybody's and I mean and I look at it as too you know there's only 24 hours in a day you got your full-time job you have a part-time job you have a husband you know some folks have kids like there's IRL before URL as Cyber always says and you can't always be in even if it's your like main person that you always support like you're not always going to have the time in the day to be for everybody. And even if it is just coming in to say hey what's up how you doing just you know I gotta head out it's just that 30 seconds like you said earlier like out of everybody that was on there you came in to say hi like I greatly appreciate that. Lurkers make Twitch world go round for sure. Uh sassy says that is the biggest complaint she gives me is that she can't be there like all the time. Hyper says support for support is just as bad as follow for follow yes I agree with that.
SPEAKER_04I hang out when I can don't expect anyone to stress over showing up to my streams if you like being there great agreed I agree with that Hybert oh yeah I've had multiple people come in they're like oh my god like I'm so sorry I was late to stream like if it's like you know 40 minutes an hour and a half in a stream I'm like dude like you're fine I'm like you if you had stuff to deal with like IRL like my streams are just here for entertainment like if you need a laugh or something like I do not expect people to show up now when they do show up I'm like oh my god you know it makes me so much happy but like I I never sit there and be like you didn't show up to my stream so I'm gonna be mad at you you know type deal and it's like I'm gonna let you know like you oh it's unacceptable it's like no no now y'all I have to tell y'all one of the prereqs for buggy agreeing to be on this stream was I had to show up to five consecutive streams back to back to back before she agreed to it.
SPEAKER_00It was that that that's why she was here right now because I I I had to be there for five streams. Minimal five streams minimal including raids and subs and donations and biddies and everything else I just I had to do the whole works I had to show her I was dedicated to getting her on this this podcast and if anybody believes that y'all don't know buggy uh sassy says it makes it 10 times harder to especially when it's everyone's live at the same time yes indeed Sassy says how rude Buggy yeah because that totally was was true right what is where are we at?
SPEAKER_04When people remember you years from now what do you hope they remember most that I made them at least smile at least once like if they came into my stream because they had a bad day and I did something to make them laugh or smile you know I want them to remember that like you know I was a pretty funny person or and you know somebody that was like nice to be around we definitely are memorable for that old bubbly champagne bottle over here I try what's something you always remember about your community oh my gosh I can always expect for them to show up like I could be having a bad day and whatnot and and and being able to start stream and get in there and everyone's like oh my god it's buggy like I'm super excited like my favorite stream you know like it's just like I can always count on them it they just they they make they make the bad days better and the good days even more good you know they're they're they're a hoot and a half and I love them all let's see sassy says what's something you hope that people learn through knowing you probably that it's okay to be yourself like you don't have to pretend to be somebody on the internet for people to like you like if you show up to your stream and you're unapologetically yourself the people that are drawn to that are going to end up coming back to your streams when people start noticing like you you're acting fake or you know I guess what's the well yeah what's the word like when you start acting like everybody else does because like that's a quote unquote like norm of streamers I feel like that's what like draws people away sometimes where it's like unless if if you're yourself like those people are going to to come to your stream and hang out and be like oh my god like this is a this is a normal person I'm talking to you know so I feel like just just just be yourself originality hyper says disingenious says that's what I learned from her more on a personal level than a streamer but get one yeah yeah definitely be just just be yourself like you know we don't come to watch streams for you to play like to watch you play a game like we come to hang out with you as a person as a streamer like the game is just bonus content and like you said don't try to be something you're not because it's a hard hard act to do every time and one day you're gonna slip up and everybody's gonna be wait what who who's this oh yeah so just be yourself live be original so what kind of strategy do you have when it comes to choosing games to stream?
SPEAKER_00Is it something you want to play or are you more strategically about it?
SPEAKER_04So I typically I will post a poll um either like the morning of or like the afternoon before a stream uh and I'm always like hey like what are you guys feeling watching tonight and I'll post like all the games that I typically enjoy playing. So for example like I posted a poll that says like hey like what are we feeling like watching on stream on Tuesday and like the options are like phasmophobia the other side seven days with the integrations um or I put other and then specify in chat and you know a lot of people tend to like vote on the polls and I'll put that into consideration I'm like hey like you know these people really want to watch me play Fazz so I'm okay with playing Fazz you know boom Fazz for Tuesday or if it's like oh it's like funnel runners and it's like oh you know I'm not really feeling funnel runners but like they want to see it. So you know I'll just be like if they want to see it like I'll play it type deal. And you know usually those people that vote usually show up and enjoy watching it and whatnot. So it's kind of nice like I just throw a polls up in my Discord just like asking people like just for their general like hey how how what are we feeling about like this game? What are we feeling about that game you know type deal and if people have recommendations for new games I'm like okay you know I'll give it a try I need to get funnel runners it looks like a fun game it is so fun. I love the crazy aspect of like just try to run around and like not get caught by tornadoes what is your most played game on PC on Xbox or like in total in total so in total would have to probably be Apex Legends with twenty one hundred hours on it alright that's a lot of hours it is the close second would probably be Overwatch um I think that's sitting at like 1800 hours I I was a diehard like on on the console playing that for the longest time and that was like before streaming. I think that started back in like 2021 it was like I that was like the only two games that I played so yeah and here I thought I was doing something with like four or five hundred hours in Faz like thinking that was a lot of numbers yeah well because like I think on Steam on Steam I have a little over a thousand hours on Valheim I think that's the biggest game I have on Steam Yeah because you said you had like your own little community or like the whole like a whole world build or something like that yeah yeah pretty much like a server type world that only I play Sassy says Bullet asked earlier what is about your biggest role model who was your biggest influence when it came to streaming my biggest influence definitely was uh Bort because you know watching her stream and just her unapologetically being herself and I was like I I want to try that I want to I want to try that I think I could do it so she definitely influenced me because she uh you know wrote down all of her specs of her computer like hey like this is what I have like you know and you want to you you know when you get a computer and so it was kind of nice and she like she definitely pushed me to like hit that go live for the first time W Bort W Bort uh new chatter asks if you start a stream with a topic in mind would chat override your original topic I guess it depends on what the topic is. If it's something that is going to cause like a super heated debate I probably would try to answer that kind of quickly and move on from it because you know like it's it's always heated when it comes to like religion what type of you know are you a Democrat Republican type deal it's like I try to just avoid like those types of questions um I also try to avoid like super super personal questions but typically like if somebody asks a question I I'll answer it you know it'll it usually it'll override uh let's see what would you say has been what is something your community has taught you that you didn't expect probably that it's okay to take time for like your mental health or like if you need a break because those people are going to be there when you come back and like when I first started streaming and I started getting like a decent like viewership I was so afraid that those people were not going to come back if I took a break and you know I would take a break and like I would come back and they would come back and I'm like oh my god they stuck around so I would definitely I would definitely say that of course you got us locked in the barnyard we can't go nowhere we don't have opposable thumbs man oh yes yep nobody can leave the barnyard now so at a thousand over a little over a thousand followers what would you say is your next goal or milestone my next goal is two thousand followers so I'm currently sitting at 1462 so that's my next big goal is is is two thousand yeah I couldn't I looked earlier and it only told me a thousand like it doesn't give me it gave me the number so I just saw a thousand oh you're good you're good where do you see yourself in the next five years I feel like that's a loaded question because it like in streaming sure it was just a question that was asked and I've just never taken it off of it in stream definitely definitely one of the three things full time uh partnered um or definitely where I can give back to the community because they have like you know given so much to me so it's like being able to to be able to go into like smaller streamers and be like here's a hundred gifted subs because why not you know type deal she's gonna be the Mr. Beast of Twitch land you get a hundred subs and you get a hundred subs you know just just because be like the uh the ones I just come in it was like hey what I'm thinking of a number one through a hundred what what number am I thinking and whatever they guessed that's all right here you go 45 gifted subs yeah yep I actually did that to it was just like a random person um and it was last year when one of my months I got a really big payout and I went into somebody I've never been into their stream before they were playing a game I liked and I was like hey pick a number one through 10 just because and they were like oh nine so you know I gifted it was like 9000 bits and like nine subs and like they were freaking out and I was like I had a good month and I just I wanted to do it just because you know yes so it's like I want to be able to do that like at a constant hybrid says you've done that in his stream and duster says the number should be six seven or six nine six I am yeah I did do that in hybrids I do remember that watching that glow on their face is the best for her lights up like a Christmas tree and that's when that's something I always say you know bits and subs are not like they're nice but they're definitely not you know asked for and everything that I always get I always tell everybody like if you do gift or bits or whatever I just turn around and give it right back to you guys. Like when payout hits I'm literally in everybody's chat hey here you go here's some biddies here's some subs like because it's oh yeah I I don't do this for the moment pays my actual bills my uh streaming money is is just you know being able to like just you know throw us be able to sub to like some of my favorite you know streamers and whatnot or be able to sub to somebody new so it's kind of nice that like I can I can do that.
SPEAKER_05Money says sassy we're not gonna talk about it.
SPEAKER_00Don't let her lie oh you've been caught hey
SPEAKER_04I haven't I've been I've been Have I haven't bought a necklace since April Alright Miss Buggy Last question of the evening which is probably the hardest question of the evening.
SPEAKER_00The simplest to put hardest. Everybody always struggles with this. Are you ready? Yes. Alrighty. So Miss Haybuggy. Being on this app for a little over two years with 1400 followers. Somebody brand new comes into this chat first time. They've never streamed before, but they want to stream. Because I don't know what to do. I don't know where to start. What would be the best piece of advice that you would give them starting out tonight?
SPEAKER_03Honestly.
SPEAKER_04And as long as you work on it, work for it, the outcome is going to pay for itself. Don't expect coming into streaming, like as soon as you hit that go live, I'm gonna make a hundred bucks tonight, you know, type deal. Don't stream if you think you're going to make a bunch of money. Because then it makes it a job. And a lot of the times it's gonna stress you out. And it's not worth it. So just hit that go live button because you wanna have fun, you wanna meet people, you wanna play games that you enjoy. Because that at the end of the day, that's going to make it worth it.
SPEAKER_00I would agree with that. Definitely. Do it because you love it, not because it's a job. Because it's already gonna be stressful in itself to begin with, with all your tech issues, with just no matter I always say it's never a good stream without some kind of tech issues, so always just do it because it's something you enjoy doing. And the friends you make along the way, like she has spoken out so much tonight. Friends you make along the way is her lifelong friend, and just enjoy the ride. Those are all the questions I have for you, Miss Buggy. Awesome. Well, Miss Buggy, thank you so so much for hanging out with us tonight and being a part of this podcast. You're incredible. I love love coming and hanging out with you and your streams and hanging out at the barnyard. Is there anything everybody? Is there anything you'd like to say to me to chat or just anybody that may not know you and discover you on this podcast? Is there anything you'd like to say to them?
SPEAKER_04Um just thank you for having me. It definitely was a fun time. It's a great experience. I definitely uh feel like if anybody gets this experience, it'd absolutely do it. It's it's so cool because you get to learn about like your you know, some of your your favorite streamers coming and hanging out here and answering some of their questions. So like if you have questions to like bigger streamers, it's it's kind of nice because like you know, they'll answer them and whatnot. So, but no, like yeah, thank you for for having me in chat. Thank you for coming and hanging out, asking the questions. I I appreciate it. It's awesome. I I hope you guys learned a little bit about some some buggy stuff that you guys, you know. Now you're in the mind of buggy.
SPEAKER_00Well, buggy, I tell you what, since you have your little outro that you always say to everybody, I'll let you in end us with your little saying when somebody says they're heading out of your stream.
SPEAKER_04All right. Well, thank you guys, chat, so much for hanging out. I appreciate every single one of you. Please, I hope you guys get plenty of sleep tonight. I hope you wake up on the right side of the bed, and I hope you kick two more rolls of butt and if you ain't gonna kick tomorrow's butt, I'm gonna kick it for ya.
SPEAKER_00All right, guys, there y'all heard it. There first from Miss Buggy. We will catch y'all later. Too loo, everyone.
SPEAKER_04Bye guys. Peace out, Girl Scouts.
SPEAKER_00And I'll catch you all on the next one.
