Hi friend, I'm Kayla. And I'm Kendra.
SPEAKER_00And this is the Laundry Room Rosary.
SPEAKER_01Because holiness doesn't wait for calm mornings or clean counters. It's found right here in the middle of this thing called life.
SPEAKER_00In the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, amen. I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born on the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
SPEAKER_01I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
SPEAKER_00Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
SPEAKER_01Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
SPEAKER_00Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
SPEAKER_01Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
SPEAKER_00Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
SPEAKER_01As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy.
SPEAKER_00Sometimes the hardest part of love is knowing what's coming. Mary saw it. She held her son as a child, and the weight of the cross was already written on her heart. She glimpsed the betrayal, the pain, the nails, and she still said yes. Can you face what's coming with that kind of courage? Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
SPEAKER_01Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

SPEAKER_00Seeing the cross before it comes doesn't mean being passive. It means preparing your heart. It means letting sorrow shape your love, letting grief sharpen your faith, and letting prayer steal you for the trials ahead. The rosary trains this muscle. It teaches you to see, to meditate, to surrender before the storm hits.
Amen.

SPEAKER_00Every day life gives us small glimpses of suffering, injustice, and loss. Ignoring them only leaves us unprepared for the weight of real trials. Mary didn't flinch. She didn't run. She leaned into God's plan, even when it was terrifying. Her eyes were fixed on him, not on what she feared.
Amen.

SPEAKER_00We are called to do the same, to look at the pain, the betrayal, the uncertainty, and instead of hiding, kneel, meditate, and pray. Let the mysteries of the rosary shape your heart to bear what is coming. Seeing the cross before it comes is not despair, it's spiritual courage. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

SPEAKER_00So today, lean into the vision God gives. Let the weight of what is to come deepen your heart, sharpen your faith, and anchor your hope. The cross may be ahead, but preparation makes it meaningful. See it, face it, trust him through it. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. In the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Amen.
SPEAKER_01We're back in the same room. Hypothetically, we're not in the same room, but we're back. I get to do reflections with my sister again. Also, funniest thing ever. We're recording this late because I got back from my retreat and I was very tired and I was not about to record a Zoom at midnight. And we're wearing the exact same pajamas. Can't even make it up. We're marrying wearing the exact same pajamas. And I giggled. I didn't even believe it. But here we are. So you're back, Kendra. Yay.
SPEAKER_00I am. I am. And I literally had to stop when we both popped up and I kept looking at your stripes, and I'm like, oh my goodness. And then I just kind of sat there for a minute. I'm like, is she gonna notice? And then it says goodnight on it. So I picked it up a little and I'm like, and she's like, oh my gosh, we have the same ones on.
SPEAKER_01Same Jamie's.
SPEAKER_00Oh man.
SPEAKER_01Oh, all right. So today, as you were reading this, this sounds really, really simple-minded of me, but I don't know what it was about you reading it. And knowing that like Mary knew what was coming and she still showed up and did it all. And thinking about my babies, I don't know if I could do that.
SPEAKER_00I was thinking the same thing.
SPEAKER_01Like it kind of like throat punches me. I don't that it's just for the first time in my life, not actually, but I don't really have the words. Like when you think about everyday life gives us small glimpses of suffering, injustice, and loss. And if we ignore them or if we try to glaze over them, our faith is not given the opportunity to grow. But Mary gave birth to this beautiful baby boy and knew what his lot in life would be, and she still leaned into it. Like There's all sorts of Christian songs that are like give me faith like Daniel in the Lion's Den and you know Hope and everything. And those are great songs. But also give me a faith like Mary's.
SPEAKER_00No kidding.
SPEAKER_01Talk about the ultimate like mom to follow. Yeah. I mean, uh it's funny because I've never really thought of it this way. To look at pain, betrayal, and uncertainty.
SPEAKER_00That is weird. Because right as you started reading that, I was reading that exact same line.
SPEAKER_01Instead of hiding, we kneel, meditate, and pray. I think what I pull out of this so much is that any uncertainty. There's so much uncertainty in this life. But if we can start viewing it as here is my opportunity to pray, here's my opportunity to draw closer to God, here is the time that I've been created for to talk to God and to pray my rosary and to do everything in my power to be like Mary. I will never be, but like not see the hardships and the uncertainties as despair, but to see them as an opportunity to grow in faith, an opportunity for spiritual courage. This one's really very profound. Maybe it's not so much what the outcome is, but instead our hearts and minds and souls on the journey.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I was just gonna say that this one has two Mojirls like speechless people. That is not normal. Not normal at all.
SPEAKER_01I say everyone listening, you and me included, take today's reflection and look inward of how's how's God speaking to me through this? What does he want me to experience through this? Because I'm gonna need five to seven business days to figure it out, I think.
SPEAKER_00I might be longer.
SPEAKER_01I guess your your actionable step can be lean into the vision God gives. That's all we've got to say about that, I think.
SPEAKER_00Bingo.
