SPEAKER_01

Hi friend, I'm Kayla. And I'm Kendra.

SPEAKER_00

And this is the Laundry Room Rosary.

SPEAKER_01

Because holiness doesn't wait for calm mornings or clean counters. It's found right here in the middle of this thing called life.

SPEAKER_00

In the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, amen. I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

SPEAKER_01

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

SPEAKER_01

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

SPEAKER_01

As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy. I want to ask you something today that might feel a little confronting, but it matters. Why are you still living like Friday? Why are you still carrying shame, defeat, and heaviness like the story ended at the cross? Because yes, Friday was real, the suffering was real, the weight of sin was real, but that's not where the story ends.

SPEAKER_00

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

SPEAKER_01

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy. In the Epistle to the Romans, chapter six, verse four, it says, We were buried with him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead, we too may live a new life, not a slightly improved life, not a life where you're constantly trying to do better. A new life.

SPEAKER_00

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

SPEAKER_01

As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy. And this is where a lot of Catholic Christians get stuck. We accept forgiveness. We don't step into freedom. We still carry guilt from things God already covered, shame from things God already redeemed, and labels that don't belong to us anymore. We keep dragging around what Jesus already buried, and then we wonder why we feel stuck. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy. Living like Friday means you stay focused on what was lost. Living like Sunday means you step into what was given. A resurrected life looks different. It looks like walking in confidence, not because you're perfect, but because you're redeemed. It looks like letting go of shame when it tries to creep back in. It looks like actually believing that what Jesus did was enough. You don't have to keep punishing yourself for something he already paid for.

As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy. So here's what I want you to carry today. You don't carry what he already buried. Not the guilt, not the shame, not the old identity. So ask yourself honestly, what am I still holding on to that Jesus already put in the ground? Where am I still living like the cross was at the end instead of the beginning? And then make the decision to let it go. Because you weren't just forgiven, you were raised. So stop living like it's Friday.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him. We humbly pray. And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. In the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, amen.

SPEAKER_01

Hey friends, it's Kayla Solo. Life happens. Kendra's actually watching my daughter for me while I am at a conference. And so I told her I would knock some of these rosaries out for us, but I promise you, once we get back into a routine, she will be back. Today's reflection hits me in the throat. When I'm talking about not carrying guilt, not carrying shame, not carrying an old identity. A couple years ago, I truly, truly searched everywhere in this world to try to find an identity here. I wanted to do so many things and make so much money and do all the different things when, in all reality, everything was leaving me thirsty for more time with Jesus. I actually just got done speaking at a conference and I told one of the women after that it's my job, it's my calling to show up, to love Jesus, to share about Jesus, and then to go home and love my family. So when I ask myself, what am I holding on to that Jesus already put in the ground for a very, very long time, it was the expectation that I had to be something incredibly special in this world when in all reality nobody shows up intentional enough to care. And that is why I love where God has called me in my life. He's called me to be a very present mom, a very present wife. So I want to challenge you today. Where are you still living? Like the cross was the absolute end of the story, instead of this beautiful new beginning.
