Hi, Coach Brandy here. Somewhere inside you, there is a dream that refuses to let go. A quiet whisper from God reminding you that your life has purpose. This is You Have a Dream Living with Purpose Podcast. Good morning, peeves. This is Brandy. And this is You Have a Dream Living with Purpose Podcast. So today is the gym is a gentle reset. Daily check-in. Because when you take time to pause and connect, even for five minutes, you bring peace into motion. So every day brings new challenges and new blessings. The key is learning to check in, not just with your to-do list, but with your soul. We'll walk through a simple practice you can do anytime, anywhere, to realign with your purpose. So our minds run fast. We wake up thinking of what needs to be done instead of who we're becoming. A daily check-in helps you shift from reacting to responding, from chaos to clarity. It's about presence, not perfection. This moment is your reset button. You don't have to fix everything today. You just need to leave it and be aware. So what you need to do is ask yourself, what energy am I bringing into this day? So your daily check-in is making sure that I'm going to give you some reasons why a daily check-in is important. So alignment. This is to make sure you're working on your goal and purpose and remembering your why. It's also holding yourself accountable. It's creating a brief ritual that keeps you intentional in living your purpose. This will help you focusing on your goal and your why. And it's also good for your well-being. Having a daily check-in will also give you your space to reflect, pray, and know what you need to do so that you are intentionally focusing on your goal. And like in last week's podcast, Jesus did this every day. He took time to reflect. So he like hit the reset button every day so he could be fully intentional with everything that he was going to do throughout that day. Right? So we can do that. So I'm going to give you what I do. Every morning I get up, I listen to my Bible lab. So I'm reading my verses along with the lady that talks like a robot, but it helps me read through it so and I focus instead of getting sidetracked. And then I open my journal. And yes, I still create my to-do list for that day, but I open up my journal. What step can I make today for moving towards my goals and living my life with purpose and making my dreams become a reality? Um, daily, it's like I need to record videos for all the social medias, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram. So I do that. I record the devotional, the thought for the day, your sprinkle of joy, your um positive affirmation for the day, and also it's a little thing called the affirmator. It's kind of funny, but it makes you think, right? So if you could follow me on all platforms, that way you could visit me every day and see what I have to say, and you can have more positivity into your life. So um, like I said, so focusing and checking in daily can shift your energy for the day too. So, you know, you wake up and before I even get out of bed, God let me and I've learned something. I've learned a new prayer, and I want you to do this daily. God, empty me, fill me, use me. And then I say, God, let me touch the people that I need to touch today, and let me be intentional in my kindness and my love and showing kindness to everybody that I touched, you know, they're that I touched their lives today. So I want to have a good day. Please lead me to who I need to come in contact today, even if it's you know, through this video, if you are the one that I need to come in contact with today, God is gonna make that happen. You're gonna find me. And I am so glad you're here. I am so glad you're here because we're on a journey to helping ourselves live in a more positive institutional life. We're gonna live with purpose. So there's power and simple rhythm. Here's a five, here's another five-step check-in you can do every morning. So breathe. Take three slow deep breaths, get the oxygen flowing through you. Feel, notice how you're feeling without judgment. Don't judge yourself. How do you feel? Speak, say one affirmation aloud, and it even if it is just you are enough, you are beautifully and wonderfully made, and you are worthy, even if you have to say that to yourself every day, you are enough, you are worthy, and you are wonderfully and beautifully made in the image of God, and then align. Ask what matters to me today, and then release, let go of what's out of your control. You can only control what's here, you can't control anything out there. So try this before reaching for your phone or your planner. These few moments shift the energy of your whole day. So we're gonna go into our guided reflection. So close your eyes and breathe deeply. Ask yourself, how is my heart today? If it feels heavy, whisper grace. If it feels joyful, joyful, whisper gratitude. Now place your hand on your heart and say, I am here, I am grounded, and I am ready. Whatever today holds, remember, peace, peace starts within. So now I want you to grab your journal. And you can journal on your phone if you want, but I like it handwritten, I like to write it. So you can do it. Here's your daily check-in prompts. How do I feel right now? What do I need today? What am I grateful for? What do I choose to focus on? What am I letting go today? These five prompts help you live intentionally. Not on autopilot. The more you check in, the more grounded you become. Keep a section in your journal just for daily check-ins. It becomes record growth and it shows your growth. And it also gives you grace. Your affirmation for this week, and you can put this down in your journal if you need an affirmation to say every day. Each day I pause to align with peace, presence, and purpose. Thank you for joining us on our daily check-in. Remember, the smallest pause can create the biggest peace. We'd love to see you and your morning and evening check-ins if you want to check in twice. Email us at you have a dreamliving with purpose at gmail.com or tag us on social media using Daily Check-in Challenge. We might share your reflections on the show. Kind of like I did last week. People sent me uh questions on how to the week before. You know, how to give grace, but understand your boundary. Keep your boundary and give grace as you're saying. Come up with, you know, I understand that you need to be taken care of. I can come on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Let's get together and see who can come. On the other days, I can't come to help take care of you as well. So it's always, you know, if we do everything in kindness and do everything in love, then it helps us show kindness, show grace, and that way we are teaching others to show kindness and lead with grace. I know that this was a short one, but this is a short, this is a good thing to practice every day. And um so your daily check-in, you need to do this every day just for yourself. And then that, you know, when I do my daily check-in, I also do my tasks to get done that day. That way I can stay focused and I can check them off and um feel like I've accomplished something because sometimes days kind of get away from you and like you have interruptions and all, you know, everything stuff comes up, and you just sometimes feel overwhelmed. Well, if you take 10 to 15 minutes to focus on what you're doing on your to-do list, and then you can interrupt with, you know, if somebody else has something for you to do, you can interrupt and you know, get that done and then do what they need to do, and then we can go back. Don't add too many to-dos to your task, you know, to your task for the day. Don't do that to yourself. There's always tomorrow. Don't burn yourself out, don't try to do too much. There's always tomorrow, and you can finish what you haven't done today. Tomorrow, just make sure that you accomplish three little tasks that you need to get done today. And then if you can add more, great! But otherwise, don't set yourself up for failure. Set yourself up for success. Now, go follow us on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and I would love to hear from you. Just you can DM me on those. I would love to hear that. Or tag me in one of your comments, or tag me in one of your posts. Life Coach Brandy out of here. I hope you have a blessed week. I hope you have a blessed holy week. See you next week. Life Coach Brandy out of here.

Before we go, remember this. You have a dream, a dream that matters, a purpose that matters, and when you walk in faith and live with courage, that dream becomes a light for the world to see. Until next time, keep living with purpose.
