“With God, all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
Hi, Coach Brandy here. Somewhere inside you, there is a dream that refuses to let go. A quiet whisper from God reminding you that your life has purpose. This is You Have a Dream Living with Purpose Podcast. Hi, welcome back, peeps. I'm so glad you have joined me today. You have a Dream Living with Purpose Podcast. I'm your host, Life Coach Brandy, and today we've reached the final episode of our plant the seed season. The season has been a journey from planting faith to watering your purpose to learning patience and now to harvesting hope. It's been a trusting process, and it's learning to trust. And even when we couldn't see the promise, and it's okay. Today we're celebrating the harvest, not just about what's grown, but who we've become through it all. So the harvest of hope principle is about sowing and reaping. Galatians 6, 7 through 9. You reap what you sow. That means the actions taken in faith result in positive spiritual outcomes, while actions focused solely on self-interest will lead to corruption. So we need to learn that we need to serve outward and not be selfish and serve inward. We need to serve outward. Otherwise, if we serve inward, it is about corruption. We become narcissists, we become prideful, we become egotistical, and that's not what we want. We want to serve and bring others into the joy that we are living and help them to find their life purpose and lead them to their life purpose. That's why I ask you guys to share. If you know someone that's struggling, let's share this out and share what we're witnessing for ourselves. You have to be persistent in your faith. Reaping requires consistency and patience. That is so important. Even when a harvest is not immediately visible, believers are encouraged not to grow weary in doing our good. It's about how the harvest will arrive in due season. So it's like keeping the faith. You've got to keep the faith. So you're gonna seed your faith, right? We've already seeded where we practice daily prayer, practice daily time with God, and just practicing thoughtful, intentional, mindful time with God. This concept is about releasing the actions with expectation that God will multiply them, transforming effort into a larger harvest. So what he means by that, or what I mean by that, is like um we're spreading seeds as we go out into our community, out into family gatherings, out into our schools, out into the stores. We are spreading seeds, and that is by doing acts of kindness. The faith to reap is beyond just having the faith to try or begin a task. There is a distinct, higher level of faith required to actually gather the harvest. That is, to believe that God's promises will be fulfilled and to accept rewards of one's efforts, of our efforts. So sometimes the harvest can't be seen, right? Because it's growing internally, we're growing character, we're growing spiritually. Don't become discouraged because sometimes the process often involves sowing in tears. That means even during difficult times, our emotional pain, persisting in faith leads to harvest of joy. So when we are struggling, when we're having horrible days, or we're going through a horrible season, we need to know that we need to understand that God is working in the background and we don't always see what he's harvesting for us. You know, I think of one of the most beautiful truths about God is that he never wastes a season. Even when it's barren, he is building something beneath the surface. And sometimes the harvest isn't what we expected, but it's exactly what we needed. We plant prayers, we we water with patience, and God grows outcomes we couldn't have planned. So Galatians 6 9 says, Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season in due season we shall reap if we do not give up. And the due season means your time is already appointed. You don't have to chase your blessing, it will meet you with obedience. The the as I stutter, it's powerful because hope doesn't grow overnight, it matures over time. Harvest hope is the harvest of faith. When you choose to believe again after disappointment, that's growth. When you love again after heartbreak, that's growth. When you keep showing up despite the storm, that's harvest. Hope is proof that the seed you planted still lives. So let's talk about what it really means to harvest. Step one is reflect before you reap. So reflecting before you reap, this step highlights the importance of intentionality, foresight, and personal accountability in shaping your future. Because God is not gonna just give you what you've asked for. You you you have you have to keep up your end, you have to do the growth yourself with God patiently loving you through the season. Remember your day-to-day decisions, your day-to-day decisions are seeds. Decisions that you make are seeds. So if you decide that you want to go shopping instead of spending time with a friend that is going through a struggle, that's a seed that you've planted. Consciously, choose to cultivate patience, kindness, grace, love, and hard work. Reflect on your motivations. Take responsibility for your garden and change the seeds you are planting if you're not happy with your current path. So take time to notice how far you've come. Sometimes we're focused on what's next that we forget to praise God in what's now. So you're we're going on, we're gonna move on to step two. Give thanks for growth, gratitude for provision, recognize that God is the source for all good. Growing in faith, seeds planted, may have not gone as planned, but faith is cultivated during the times of waiting as our as our crops grow, our spiritual development, and the fulfillment of God's promises. Hope in difficult times, the concept of harvesting hope, finding potential growth even in the hardships, this builds character. Giving thanks in all circumstances, always be thankful regardless of your situation, because God is faithful and is always present, He never leaves you. Um, I think about footsteps in the footprints in the sand, and the person asks, Why are there only one set of footprints here? And God says, That's when I carried you. That's when you needed me the most, you know? And I feel that whenever we are going through a struggle, sometimes we just feel like we can't get out of bed. But we have things to do, we have obligations, and that is when God is carrying us to do and live in faith and in patience because that season will pass. We just need to focus on what is good. Like you have a bed to sleep in, but you need to get out of that bed, you need to pull your bootstraps up and keep trying. Because if you quit, then what's gonna happen? It's you're not gonna grow. You can't quit. You gotta get back up on that horse again and ride it away, or hop up back on that bike. Remember when we learned to ride bikes? It was such a struggle in the beginning that uh, you know, some of us wanted to quit. I know I wanted to quit because I was like, I don't like falling down. So, but we kept our parents said, you can do it, you can do it. So if you have friends and you're struggling and you need to open up and talk to them, or even just talk to God, whatever works for you, you need that cheerleader. I'll be your cheerleader. Just reach out to me. You have to have the will to try and try again. So sometimes we're so focused on what's next that we forget to praise God for what's now. Write down three things. God has grown in you just in this five months of this year. So gratitude magnifies the miracle. Even if everything didn't go as planned, thank Him for what He did to your roots. And then step three, share your seeds. So share your seeds. This represents a movement focused on cultivating, cultivating community, resilience, sustainability by sharing resources. Primarily seeds and garden tools to empower individuals to grow their own garden. So what you're doing is as you're going through a season, you're also going to go around and lift others in their season and plant those seeds of kindness and plant those seeds of encouragement. So share your testimony, share the joy of Jesus, bear witness to God's faithfulness, his redemption, and love in your life, bring hope to others. Continue to be authentic, keep Christ centered, make your testimony simple and honest. By sharing your seeds, you will encourage others, strengthen their faith, and strengthen your faith, and is giving the glory to God. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. So your testimony is a seed of hope for someone else's soil. When you tell your story, you multiply your harvest. Our growth isn't just for us, it's to help others believe they can grow too. So God's blessings are never meant to stop us, they're meant to flow through us. Before we continue, it's time to take a dream moment. Take a breath for just a second. Think about the dream that's been placed in your heart. Maybe it's something big, maybe it's something quiet that only you and God know. But if that dream is still there, it's there for a reason. So keep walking in faith, keep taking the next step, and trust purpose grows one day at a time. Now, let's get back to the episode. So as we continue our dream mode, your tears water the soil. Purposeful pain, tears, times of heartache, all viewed as watering the soil. The soil is faith, meaning suffering has a purpose. There is still growth, and that is your faith. So, like I said, even in times of heartache and struggle, if we continue to have hope and we continue to have faith, you're growing, you're growing your character, you're growing your strength and your faith, and you're a growing relationship with God. It is divine care. Not a single tear is wasted or unseen. They are remembered, they're collected. Perseverance. This describes a transformation process while enduring hardships, trials, heartbreak, ultimately, they all ultimately produce harvest. You have had spiritual growth, it builds character, and a confident, unwavering hope. So as you go through your struggles, you become more faithful and you learn to have hope again and you find joy. That is being persistent in your daily actions, your daily check-in routines. You know, so as long as, and like I said before, it takes 21 days to make a habit. So this we've had six episodes, so that's over 21 days. I hope that you have stayed steady in your daily check-ins with um your journal and with checking in with where you are in your goals, in your making your dreams your reality and living your life's purpose. So those daily check-ins are very important for you in your self-growth, and just it builds so much character when you are when you have that stability and that convect uh conviction to have that, even it's only 10 minutes, to have that self-care time for you. So you can take um take time to read scripture, take time to say a prayer, give thanks for everything that's happening in your life, be thankful for what God has given you. And again, a harvest can be a new job, a new relationship, or it can be it's you are more devout in your faith, and you find hope everywhere you look. So your faith is actively cultivating trust in God. So it during those difficult times, transforming suffering into perseverance and positive action. Remember, God is your anchor, He enables you to find joy, purpose, and renewal despite your challenges. Always remember 1 Corinthians 13 13 faith, hope, and love. And love is the greatest. So Psalms 126, 5 says, Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. That verse is for every listener who's been faithful in the season of waiting, heartbreak, and transition. Your tears watered the soil, your perseverance made it fertile, your faith invited the harvest. It's a reminder that pain isn't wasted, it becomes purpose. Sometimes hope grows in the best broken soil because we've been humbled, we've become fertile to God's glory. So take a moment now. Breathe. Look back at how far you've come and whisper, God, thank you for this harvest. So here is your reflection challenge this week. Take five minutes each morning to thank God for something that grew this season, even if it's just more peace, more patience, or even perspective. Gratitude is how we honor the harvest.
