SPEAKER_05

Today on the Human Mass podcast, I've got Luke Dyson. He doesn't need an introduction. You all know who he is. Thank you very much for coming, Luke.

SPEAKER_02

That's not a problem, though. Come on.

SPEAKER_05

Thank you very, very, very much. You are just one of the busiest men on the internet.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. Hundreds.

SPEAKER_05

And you've got to respect the grind. Um the the f there's only one pre-question that I ask every guest. Uh I'm gonna ask it you. I don't know how it's gonna go. I always ask this one question. It's the only thing that's planned is turning my voice, it's like I want a different answer. Is who are you?

SPEAKER_01

Um I'm Luke, I'm a I'm a dad, I'm a son, I'm a partner. Um I'm just a guy, just a guy like every other guy. Um yeah. Just a guy, like every other guy, just just working for it, bro, just going for it.

SPEAKER_05

Have you have you ever thought about that question? Obviously, you wouldn't probably done that. But this because it's deeper than that, isn't it? That question. Do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

I'd love to look at myself from an outside perspective sometimes, I think. I don't think maybe sometimes I'd always I don't know. But um, I don't know. Never really thought about that too much. It's a tough question, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

It is a tough question, because most people would answer like you just done.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe I don't want to know.

SPEAKER_05

Do you know what? Before he said he just comes out, and that's like a flow state thing. And what you just said there, when you said you don't want to know, is actually the right answer. Yeah, isn't it?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

See what I mean? Yeah, because um um not judging like in a bad way, but because of how hard you work, yeah, you just you just seem a million miles per hour in everything that you're doing, and it's very fast. And that question, what old are you, don't be asking?

SPEAKER_02

33, brother.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, you're 33. 33, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Cool number. You don't, no, no, you don't even have fights.

SPEAKER_05

33 is quite a crucial age. Um but um the uh that question really you probably won't get time to settle in and think about until you slow down in your life, which doesn't look like it's no, it's not happening, bro. It's not happening anytime soon, isn't it?

SPEAKER_01

Never no no no so what I would have to you have to you have to finish me, lad.

SPEAKER_05

You think so?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, now you will.

SPEAKER_05

What's the what's the the the journey that you're on? Because I said to you before, Donat, I genuinely respect the grind. I mean, to travel down here today, you just you just try the amount of travelling you're doing, the amount of fighting you're doing, the amount of internet you're doing, and what is the end goal? Is there an end goal?

SPEAKER_01

All I know is brother that there's two percent of the world that live different, and they've not got anything more than I've got, some of them have got less than I've got. Do you know what I mean? Um some of them don't deserve it, some of them do deserve it, but why can't I have a bit of it, innit? And I will do, and as simple as that, I will spent too long doing nothing, and now it's time to do something, innit?

SPEAKER_04

Do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

98% of the world is just happy, comfortable, sat on their asses, brother. Um do you know what I mean? Comfortable's alright. The path to heaven feels like hell, the path to hell feels like heaven. Do you know what I mean? I'm here to be comfortable, bro. Fuck that. Let's go, innit?

SPEAKER_05

That is brilliant. But it's funny because where does that drive come from? That's like what the question I've asked load of people, like you're human, like why is why are you different to that guy? What makes it?

SPEAKER_01

Well, well, to me, but it would rather just sit drugged out of my head, it'd rather to wake up rough every single day, rather to let my family down, harder to be nothing than be something, bro. Do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_05

What happened? What what what was the trick? What was the trigger of the change?

SPEAKER_01

Just I don't know. Um I don't know. And there was no Was it a slow change, I mean, or did it like one day? Everything's changing, isn't it? Like even now, I'm not perfect, bro. Like, still make mistakes, still fuck up. Do you know what I mean? Everyone does. Um, so there is I don't know. It's just a slow, slow thing bit by bit. You grow up, you mature, become aware of the world. People think people always say to me, Dyson, you keep getting punched in the head, you're gonna be thick as fuck. Well, actually, I think I'm getting smarter. So yeah, but um, I don't know, yeah. Yeah, just yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I mean looking back though, I mean, was it like uh some people like something triggers them? Someone might say something to them, or someone might see a motivational video, something happens to like just trigger something.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I've can you think of that point? Yeah, there's been a few little there's been a few little moments, but there's a few little moments I've gone. I've I've mentioned them before, like one of my friends before when we had the discussion, and he's sadly not with us anymore. But we had a discussion in my kitchen one night, and they we that's the lad that pushed me into the gym. There's certain little defining moments in life, bro, but at the same time, none of them truly did change me. It's just everything, it's an accumulation of everything, really. Um you learn from your fucking mistakes. So I don't think a lot of people really understand the meaning of that. You learn you do learn from your fucking mistakes, innit?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Well, not everybody, but yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No, yeah, no, but you yeah, not not everybody correct there, not every but not everybody wants to. I want to, innit? Yeah, do you know what I mean? I want to learn from my mistakes, but I want I want to fucking be better.

SPEAKER_05

But that's that interesting. Just it's like it's just what interests me is why I do these podcasts and stuff. Like, every single human is so completely different, and we don't really know why your DNA and why Luke Dyson has decided, or some other guys that I've interviewed, just have decided that no, that's not for me anymore. No, I'm not having it, I'm going this way.

SPEAKER_01

I think I've always just felt different, me, brother. I've always felt different. I've my whole life I've been different, bro. Whether that's been in a good way or a bad way. I've always just stood out, I've always just been different for a long, long time. It was for the wrong reasons. People still try to make it for the wrong reasons, and everybody likes to paint a villain. Um, but at the same time, now we just harness it, in it. Like you said when you came in, you said, look, you know what I mean? How do you manage to be absolutely everywhere? Infiltration. I just managed to stand out, bro. I don't know what it is one way or another. Once you've once you met me, you can't forget me, innit? And even before you met me, you can't forget me.

SPEAKER_05

Do you know what I mean? We saw a guy on the way in, and he went, Oh, I know who you are, didn't you? Yeah, who was on it?

SPEAKER_01

That will happen. It happens in every corner of the world I travel to, never mind every corner of the country. Really? And it's a blessing, brother. It's a blessing.

SPEAKER_05

Do you like it?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I it's a humbling experience. Yeah. I'll take my time out, I'll take time out of my day for absolutely anybody who sports me or anybody who says a lot to me. Do you know what I mean? So it's a lovely experience.

SPEAKER_05

Um grateful.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, grateful. It took a lot of work, so obviously at the same time, like I'm grateful, but I'm grateful for the work I've put in. Grateful for my missus. Do you know what I mean? Because without her, maybe on the path, but she's a she she keeps me on it. She keeps me on it. Yeah, she's a good one, isn't she? She's amazing, mate. She really is.

SPEAKER_05

It's funny because it the the drive you've got inside you could have been there was a guy that interviewed, um, he's just been with the last one, Algie from Nottingham, and uh been out of prison, done like two or three stints in prison or whatever. But he's got this natural drive, so now he's obviously he's finding a different path, and that but he's still got that same drive. And it's funny how that drive inside you, if you're in the wrong environment, takes you down that road. But as soon as you can come out of that environment a little bit, and that drive's still in you, that's when you can really enjoy some success.

SPEAKER_01

And to be fair, I I know I don't know, to everyone else's drive, it's just comes natural. Yeah, I hunger.

SPEAKER_05

It's hunger, isn't it?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like I I don't know. It's it's harder for me to do nothing. Like the the biggest thought to me is setting, oh, it's gonna be hard doing this, hard doing that. No, it's fucking hard for me to sell my ass at home, can't sit home, don't want to sit home. Why should I sit home? And there's other people in the world not sitting at home, getting it, do you know what I mean? Getting it, and they're the ones that they're they're why that's why they're succeeding, because they're getting it. So stop, I'm not sitting there. It's a fucking shell that's been created for me. Yeah, I've got them at home to go to, get to sleep. But fuck that, the rest of the world's for tackling, innit?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, and because you didn't you haven't come from money or anything, have you?

SPEAKER_01

No, my mum, but do you know what it is? Like uh like I said, uh um I was adopted into an amazing family. My mum and dad um What age was that? Uh uh I was about five. I was about I believe I was about five. Um but my mum and dad, mum and dad are well they're they're well off, they've worked their whole lives, they're amazing people, mate. My mum's uh she's been a deputy and head teacher, though always my dad, my my my dad's side of the family owned bake houses and stuff. Um the the the both the well-off bit of diverse, but I've you know when I was younger, I maybe obviously I took the m like money that I needed to survive. Because I moved out at a very young age, you know what I mean? So flipping a carrier with no electric, no gas, no food at times, you know what I mean. Apart from that, no, I don't take my parents have their money, they're living happily on their money now as they should be, um retired and happy, travelling the world. So yeah. But yeah, no, uh I don't have like no, I've never been given money. Yeah, I mean like I money like people think I've got all this money in the world, I I am a lot better off than I ever have been in my life. It's an amazing, humbling experience. Like it's only over the past year or so that I've managed to get some sort of financial freedom. Um but and then at the same time, if I truly sit down and think it's financial freedom that years ago I could only ever have prayed for. Do you know what I mean? So now, like when I look at my son and I say to my son, like I said to him last night, as we had this conversation last night, I said, You can have anything you want, lad. There isn't anything in the world you don't want. I'd like to be able to say that to my son. So yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Um that is brilliant, isn't it?

SPEAKER_01

Well, not everything, like obviously I can't go buying him a Lamborghini yacht just yet, just yet. But one day we will. Well, this is what like when he has little issues at school and that I say, forget school, lad, because I'm telling you, one way or another, sooner or later, lad, you'll have a life that none of this will even.

SPEAKER_05

Did you go to school?

SPEAKER_01

Um, yeah, well, I went to school. Do you know what it is with school? Shout out to school, shout out to my old school teachers, man. Uh yeah, plenty of school teachers kept me in school, but if I worked against a grammar, like everything. I shouldn't have been kept in school. Somehow they kept me, somehow they kept me in the same school. I was in there for five years. I spent time in a in a pupil referral unit through year eight. Um, and then in year 10 and 11, I was working in, I was doing like three days a week in uh job placements and then two days a week in school. Do you know what I mean? Because of just behaviours. I was always uh excuse. I was just an angry kid, bro. I've always I've always said I was an angry, angry, horrible kid, you know.

SPEAKER_05

Do you think that's because of the first five years?

SPEAKER_01

I think bro, I think obviously, like now I'm old, I think obviously it's stupid to like to not think that there's I think they tell you the underlying issues, but it is when it is, bro. Listen, there's people out there that have had ten times worse than I've ever had. Do you know what I mean? So I was just an angry kid. Do you know what I mean? I put I give I put my parents through hell, put other people through hell. Um but people always stood by me, innit? People always believed in me, bro. So something in there, then but this is why now, like when I'm older, bro. This is why now, like my parents say to me they're proud of me. That's why I always wanted, I'll always make sure they are now proud of me, but at least I'm giving something to be proud of me for. Um but that's why, innit? Because obviously I gave them so many reasons not to be, bro. The same as all these other teachers, like there's a lot of people I'd love to thank um that kept me in school, that never really quit on me. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. A lot of people, because like I said, when I say I stand out, uh like there's always been uh people either fucking they really like me or they fucking hate me. Do you know what I mean? And it's always been the same in school throughout life, so it's what it is. As as much as there was people supporting me.

SPEAKER_05

But you're much different now to when you was at school then.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I was always horrible, mate. I was just like you could have sat down and just took them in out. No, yeah, I could have done, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I was just angry, like it's because you've been put in that box and told what to do, then you think?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. I mean, supposedly now I still pretty angry. I mean, I just I'm not angry now. I mean, I think I just that that I'll stand on my shit. Like, if if that's what I think is if I if I think what I think is and then I'll stand on my stuff, yeah. I'll stand on my behaviour, but passionate maybe not angry. Um, but nah, when I was younger, yeah, it was uncontrollable. Like it's completely different, uncontrollable rage, um, immaturity as well, innit?

SPEAKER_04

And maybe uh just one crowd or not?

SPEAKER_01

Um just you I didn't really have many much of a crowd, brother. No, not really much of a crowd. Probably do it to myself. Stuck out like a soft one, like I said to you. But it is what it is. Not like I was ever, I wasn't ever outwardly miserable. Like life's just been life to me, brother. Life's just been life to me. I can see you just like just in like a natural flow state.

SPEAKER_05

Without done any, you don't not done what's your what are you have you have you got like a are you religious or a spiritual or yeah I'm religious for me?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I only ever found God though through my own. So so when I've I've when when I was younger, I always took to church and mum and daddy used to take me to like Sunday school and whatnot. Um but one time I was I went in really bad state and I found myself I I was I was really really really in a bad state and I found myself in Sheffield for some reason. Oh I'd got a um and it means late 20s I found myself in Sheffield. I wasn't in the best place at all in life, but um and I just found myself I think there's a there's a there must be a cathedral in the middle of Sheffield town centre. Um I'd never been Sheffield before and I just found myself sat in a cathedral, and then when I came away from it, like obviously, like weeks, months later, and I thought to myself, why are we sat in a cathedral? And then just bit by bit, brother, when I just started thinking like maybe if someone is watching me and judging how I feel, like obviously we can all pretend on the outside, but it's what's on the inside, innit? So if you can pretend that someone's judging you on the inside, well, not be if you can understand that someone's judging you on the inside and not just pretend on the outside, yeah, then maybe bit by bit.

SPEAKER_05

You've you've you've like naturally just followed little signs, aren't you? Then you just without going, oh that's a sign, I'll follow that. Things just happen, and you just something inside, you just follow the signs.

SPEAKER_01

When when I need someone, that's who I go to, isn't it?

SPEAKER_05

That's that's mad that just you happen to be walking past it, happened to be open.

SPEAKER_01

No, I I went, yeah, I just it was just drawn like a magnet. I just ended up there. I mean, in the worst state, in the worst situation. But it's just all the same with God, like with my own relationship with God. I don't need to go sit in a church, I don't need to go listen, sing hymns, or do anything like to what anyone else tells me to do or what anyone else does.

SPEAKER_05

They've been there, in there, you know what we talk about today.

SPEAKER_01

No, but like someone else's idea of how I should be in the day. I've got my relationship with God. I know we well, I believe who I know who he is. He believes I believe he knows who I am. Yeah, and when I get there, brother, he'll know who I am. I want us to plead my case, he'll know. Yeah, Luke, you tried.

SPEAKER_02

There you go, lad.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, fair enough. And that's like a karma thing and that sort of thing, innit, as well.

SPEAKER_01

And hopefully bit by bit I can make the right decisions. Like I said, we're not perfect, bro. Flipping heck, I'm not holier than thou. I'm a do you know what I mean? Yeah I swear, I make mistakes, do you know what I mean? Shout, scream, get angry. Um but you buy the HD randomly. Um I I don't I don't know. I've done I've never really sat never sat down long enough to be able to do Mr. Dyson, Mr. Dyson sit down and say we've got to be. I'm diagnosed with a personality disorder, but so I am diagnosed with a pot and personality disorder. What does that mean? So from my understanding of it, um it basically just means that I struggle to manage my relationship, struggle, struggle to manage my emotions. Sometimes I can be extremely up, sometimes I will be extremely down, but there's there's struggles to be much of an in-between. Um when I'm down, I'm extremely down, I can be suicidally down or like absolutely like ragingly angry. That must be torturing like that.

SPEAKER_05

You can't control that then, can you if you're down?

SPEAKER_01

Well, it's just it's just I don't know, it's just life, innit?

SPEAKER_05

That's where the fighting is.

SPEAKER_01

But I don't yeah, no, I don't I just find my own ways to manage things, bro. Like they used to give me all the pills of quotient and all that all that kind of stuff, the antipsychotics, and and and uh it never helped me, it made me worse. Now I I train at the gym and I fight and I and make myself busy, bro. Do you know what I mean? I make myself busy. You don't take anything now, no tablets or something. There wasn't a personality disorder, bro. Do you know what I mean? There wasn't, bro. There wasn't, and do you know what it is when our grandparents were around and that and people were in war times and that there weren't time to be sat there crying about shit and taking tablets, bro? Do you know what I mean? There was shit to be out going out and getting done. Do you know what I mean? People were building homes, people were building houses. So at the same time, bro, I like I understand other people have their situations, but but you see me, I ain't got time to be fucking poorly, bro. I ain't got time for it. It's an amazing attitude though, you know.

SPEAKER_05

I'm just you don't you realise how much of an amazing attitude that is, isn't it? It is, isn't it? It just is. There's a theme of people that I've interviewed who've had a tough time currently, because obviously you obviously said you're up and down and stuff, and the the general theme with with this something in the DNA with you and the other guests is that they just they don't ever feel sorry for themselves and they're just just any they just want to go forward and they're trying to be grateful for what they can. And that is an amazing trait to have and to that people can learn off as well. To inspire people.

SPEAKER_01

Oh well, maybe I don't know. If we can, I don't know. This is uh I don't know, maybe sometimes I think maybe like I I don't know to look at me. I won't I won't look at me and like and say, Oh, I'd like want to be inspired, yeah. You're inspired by Dice. Yeah, that's a hard hard thing for me to understand. But at the same time, if I do, if I can help, like I always get I get so many messages where people say look, you help me. And if I help you, then that yeah, yeah, so many mates, so so so many crap. That must feel good. It's amazing, it really is amazing, and it it means the world to me, but you know, like people. They're saying how or how it's through just through the through the just uh there's so many different reasons, so many different pe things that people are like they'll they'll send me a message and they'll say look, you've helped me. I'm I'm this month's clean on this, or you're just uh I'm do they're struggling with depression, or they just I don't know. Maybe my mindset that I don't know. A lot of people say to me, they go, Luke, maybe she'll quit the fighting and just start talking.

SPEAKER_05

That's gonna come because you can't fight, you can't fight forever. Well, you know, we're taking it's a different outlet, then isn't it? Yeah, but to be honest, I remember right today before you come, um I was a bit late with traffic and that. And I went to I went to Saw it, sorry. I went to all that and I was I think oh fucking, I feel knackered. And I thought, oh my god, you wimp, look how much track travelling he's doing. He's doing this, he's been there, he's done that, he's doing this. It's a very small version of inspiration, but it works.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, see what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_05

We still see that graft, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But then again, I find that from a lot of other people, brother, because but that you see their graft, like not even that, bro. Like, look around, man. We live in such a sad world, not to yourself, I mean to everyone. It's like look around at the fucking world. Can we really afford to be sat there crying? Do we really have that excuse to sit there and cry? Because so many people do have the excuse, brother. Like, so many people are going through the world of pain, not not even in this country, around the whole world, brother. Some people do you know what I mean? Some people really do have that excuse. I ain't got that excuse, brother. Do you know what I mean? Do you know fucking maybe yeah, you could write my story and it could be a sad story, but fucking next to anyone else's mate, it's a fairy tale. Do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_05

So man, I did a post on that saying you can't help that you um people have um comparing trauma. You can't help it if I've had trauma, you go, fucking hell, I have to listen to him or him. Mine's nothing compared to his. And you can't help that. And and you're right just to go, shh, everyone's different, you've got to do you. Have you got anybody that you look up to that's like without saying like God or your dad, is there anybody that you've seen like either on the fighting circuit or social media? Is anyone that you think, oh, you know what, he's a I like him.

SPEAKER_01

Um I'll tell you what.

SPEAKER_05

You might not have to be fighting, might be Elon Musk, I don't know. Just is there anybody you look up to?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know, I find it hard because I'm not really one of those like I'm not involved in what goes on in my own stratosphere, like what is in front of my eyes directly and what's going on in life. That I don't I've never really took time for sports people, or I don't understand what goes on in boxing or fighting or anything else. I just like to find I just um I I no I no, it's an hard one that bro. No, no, I don't know.

SPEAKER_05

Sometimes you see someone, don't you on the internet and you think, oh, you know, you see him again, oh I like him or whatever.

SPEAKER_01

There's there's a lot of people that I support, but do you know what it is? I I'm one of them as well. I need to know you truly are who you truly are. Do you know what I mean? Truly like some people have some people are wolf and cheap scothing, do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_05

They they can have you come across you know since you've got and this sounds really like it might because you're so humble, so it might come across like cringy uh famous. It's not cringy. Because it's so humble, you're not gonna take it. I knew you wouldn't, I knew you wouldn't. I know, I know, I know. But what I mean is, have you found that people want a piece of you all the time now? Um yeah, I mean I just want to just try and like like ride off your hard work.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I mean I get with the fight game, it is what it is, you know what I mean. Like you've I've ever got flipping top tier fighters that just want to kick the fuck out of me because sorry, sorry. They want to kick the fuck out of me because they think they're gonna wake up tomorrow and then I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what goes through the mind. But yeah, there there's some people they do like, do you know what I mean? And they wanna but they ain't got much to offer back. I don't know. Yeah, it's a snake again, the word snake again, but I'm just uh I just have to go for it. I haven't got time for it, but I I I just deal with I deal with respectable people. There's a there's a lot of snakes about, isn't there, brother?

SPEAKER_05

But that's what I mean when you say sheep's removed clothing. Are you coming across more now?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, there's but the the there is in every aspect of life, like to say, even tomorrow I was to go get a job in Asda. Do you know what I mean? There's there's gonna be someone else that's hating on me for something else, and then you get promoted, and then there's someone else gonna be do you know what I mean? There's always someone wanting to take you down in no matter what aspect of life, so that's become indestructible, me, brother.

SPEAKER_05

Has manifestation ever been a part of what you do?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, my manifestation 100%. I I I know, bro. I I'm already there, me, brother. Yeah, I'm already there. I'm already there, bro. I'll say it plain as the my future's already set, bro. I'm already there, I've already made it.

SPEAKER_05

You can't you can't tell on camera, right? But you know when he says that, you know when you say that, fucking energy coming off. This is just a journey, the energy coming off. Yeah, proper that is, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's just a journey, but look, I set off from you're inspiring then. Inspired me there, see?

SPEAKER_05

You are inspiring.

SPEAKER_01

Well, this is as simple, yeah. I set off from Brighouse and I've ended up in Chester. We're in Chester now, aren't we?

SPEAKER_04

Cheshire, Cheshire, Cheshire, Cheshire.

SPEAKER_01

So I sell I set off from Brighouse and I'm in Cheshire. Do you know? Well, the timing between was a journey. Do you know what I mean? There's two different destinations, there's a start and a finish, but I've already got my finish from my finish, it's beautiful, brother.

SPEAKER_05

And it's locked in.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I'm just this is a journey, innit?

SPEAKER_05

Love that. I mean, and you enjoy are you in are you enjoying your journey? Yeah, yeah. Because a lot of people see the prize and then they get there and they go, Fucking hell, I didn't even look, I didn't even enjoy the journey that happened or whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Well, this is enjoying it.

SPEAKER_05

You're present.

SPEAKER_01

This is the thing. I think a lot of people, I went to my bea not so long ago and I seen a sign, and it was amazing to see it said, don't get caught up chasing a dream to forget that you've already living a reality you once prayed for. Do you know what I mean? I think I might have already said it, but you know what it is, and I've had to do that a lot because I think sometimes I think I'm I'm I I need to stop and realise I'm blessed to be where I am already. But that don't mean that there's not, like I said, there's that fucking two percent of the world, but then I'm coming, taking it. It's already mine, I've already got it, I know that, I know that, because I won't quit, bro. I will not quit. It's impossible to make me equip, bro. You'll have to that you'll have to you'll have to raise me off the universe to make me equip, bro. Simple as that.

SPEAKER_04

I love that.

SPEAKER_05

Fuck I'd hate to fight you with that argy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, well, but this is a thing that's like.

SPEAKER_05

Do you know what's going on with that argybe, wouldn't it?

SPEAKER_01

But you see the thing is people don't put me in that mind frame. This is the issue like when you say the fighting thing. So, like, if someone could put me in that mind frame, if I could have an opponent in front of me, I've had a couple, I've had a couple, but if someone could put me in front, if someone could someone come in front of me that put me in that mind frame, there wouldn't be a soul on this earth that I would not destroy. Understand that, brother. Yes, you're looking at the guy, but he wants to take it from you. And I thought these tough people on this circuit, I thought these tough people up and down the country, yeah, they might have beat me this and that, but that's just been like I said the other day, like I said last night, fighting's just like going to Asda. These people that they don't know, but they don't these people, these top tier fighters, everyone's like, Oh, you fight this guy, who you fight that guy? It's just a fight, I couldn't care less. But I tell you what, if you put me in that mind frame where I look at you and I think no matter what, like we've already discussed certain people. You know, if you put me in that mind frame and I look at you and I look in and I say, Listen, I'm coming for you and I'm gonna fucking destroy you and I'm gonna tear the universe from under your feet. I'm telling you, brother, there isn't a single soul on this earth that'll stop me.

SPEAKER_05

We're not giving that guy the the the Yeah, we're not gonna I don't even want the views for him saying it.

SPEAKER_01

We're not gonna mention the guy but the guy will know who he is, Voldemort, he who should not be named, but anyway, but yeah, but but but you see, this is uh this is a yeah, like so like when you say to me, like I wouldn't want to fight you with that thing, but there's not many people that ever put me into that mind frame, and it takes a lot to put me into that mind frame. Everything else is just a fight, bro. It's just a I'm just a journey. I'm just there, I'm just there, I'm just enjoying the fight. We know lose, but winning and losing ain't got me this far in the fight game. Winning and losing fights ain't got me this like sat in front of yourself and doing all the amazing things I do, bro. It hasn't right journey, innit? Fucking hell. If people cared about my wins and my losses, I'd be fucking nowhere. Because I've got loads of bloody losses. I mean, it's a journey, but that's not quitting.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, how many fights have you had now?

SPEAKER_01

176.

SPEAKER_04

That's mate. What time frame?

SPEAKER_01

Um, just uh just under four years, bro.

SPEAKER_04

What's that a week or whatever?

SPEAKER_01

That's all I've done five, five in a weekend a few times. Yeah, yeah. Five in a weekend. You haven't done five in a weekend. Yeah, multiple times. Multiple times. You have no, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Well, so you've already you're fucking already you've bruised, you're feeling sensitive, whatever, and then you've given you straight away.

SPEAKER_01

One on a Sunday, boom. Even or all mix of match, I don't know, sometimes. Yeah, I've done loads. Back to the day, there'll be loads of people. Everyone, everyone remembers them, do you know? There's so many people on the circuit, like, do you know what I mean? I want I was so I did about I think it was approximately 60, 70 fights I'd had before I even started putting on social media. Then I made the decision, I literally wrote status and says, I want to start putting this on social media. And then I said, No one hit my idea, no one hit my idea. And then we yeah, and we just worked on it from here.

SPEAKER_05

That's my what when when did you know the diff what happened to trigger the the surgery media blow up? Because you do blow up. What's the what's the trigger? Do you remember that day like fucking I woke up? There's how many views or whatever? I just no, I just made the decision to start just to keep it. You know what I mean? Do you remember when it clicked and it all of a sudden just there was just a load of views one day, or was it a slow build?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, it was kind of instantaneous, really. But yeah, because you got to think to be then you got to think like there's there's certain men in this world, and there's certain humans in this world that will go their entire lifespan without ever getting into any sort of conflict whatsoever. They will do anything on earth to that's that's absolutely fine without if that's what suits them, but at the same time, like when they've spent their whole lifetime avoiding any any sort of conflict or combat or violent situation, and then they see Dyson who's going and fighting five absolute killers in a weekend, getting his head kicked in from Southampton to South End. Do you know what I mean? Like the so you're gonna watch it, do you know what I mean? When I tune in with a black eye and go fight fight 90 done on the way to fight 92, and then three hours later I've got another black eye, and I'm like fight ninety-three completed. Do you know what I mean? Your people are gonna watch it, aren't they? And I wrote that. I said, look, because there's a load of lads, it's not just myself that do it, there's a load of lads in credit to them all, do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_05

Like but to your to as many as you do, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They've done more ten times more than I've done as well. Yeah, well, yeah, yeah, there's still lads doing it. I've took a step back because obviously now I'm able to take a step back. Do you know what I mean? I've um I've I've grinded my way to it, but there's still lads out there. I'll give them a shout out now. You've got the Will Cairns, you've got the Aiden Sherrish, you've got the Isaac Gibbs, the Jordan Wheaters, you've got all the young sung heroes, there's so many more of you, Brendan Collier. I could go on about you. You're lads that have done it for years. Um yeah, and they're just doing that as blow the fight, yeah. Just week in, week out, multiple, multiple shows. There's so many more of the good lads that I can mention. Um, so please, if I haven't mentioned it, please don't think you're any worth any less than the ones I did mention because you're all fucking ass. But at the same time, like I just thought, for me, not for week for week, like, what the fuck? You we we're doing shit that other people fucking couldn't even dream about. Most people won't even say boot in the bar, but when someone books in the queue, bro, and then there's those sort of crazy fuckers all going out there laughing as head off, mate, driving down motorway, five of us in a car, bleeding out of his heads, faces smashed in where we're going now. Oh yeah, problem, mate. Wales, do you know what I mean? Take a few more kicks, a few more elbows, a few more looks to the face. Where are we going now? Oh yeah, Sheffield boxing, do you know what I mean? No problem. And hey, some amazing memories, but like even now, like the memories are amazing. But some of them days, brother, do you know driving to Scotland and Wales and everywhere, four or five weekends, do you know what I mean? Two two shows in a night, three shows in a night. Some amazing memories with some amazing people, brother. Yeah, and I won't see a single one of them.

SPEAKER_05

That is mad. Yeah, some amazing thing. That is mad.

SPEAKER_01

With some good, genuine people as well, brother. Some good, genuine people like it. It's all good knowing all these amazing celebrities I know now, and all these amazing people that people look up to, and you know, world figures like world-renowned figures, like I do really know some of the like some of the biggest names in the in the world, but not like I it's humbling for me to say it, yeah, but then I've got some amazing memories with some of the most genuine down-to-earth people you could ever forget. And I'd still you know what I mean, sit with them any day of the year, and you know what I mean.

SPEAKER_05

That's mad. You know, um when was your first fight? Um Halloween, Halloween.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. I've also 100% remember it, yeah, like back in my hand. Said it loads, man. I was just it was uh yeah, they're dormant at Yeats's rung me uh when he was to go out drinking at Yates' and he said, Dyson, doing a fight? I've got your novice boxing match in Birmingham. Should we be fighting or town in town? I've been town fighting, pissed up, and do you know what I mean? Just causing trouble. And he always said to me, Dyson, I'll get you a proper fight. And then, yeah, I got a phone call that morning, Dyson, doing a came for a novice boxing match in Birmingham. I got there and it turned out to be pro MMA co main event. And yeah, I I smashed it, beat the and beat the lad in the first round. Yeah, yeah, beat the lad in the first round. They're all lads. I went with my best mate Louis and my mate Jordan Wheater. Do you know what I mean? Orgy the fight game, shout out to Wheater and Daz. And um, yeah, um well, they were all that surprised, they didn't even know they were going, has he won?

SPEAKER_02

Has he won?

SPEAKER_01

I I didn't have a clue I'd won, and I didn't even know I'd bloody one hours walking around like that, but yeah, we won.

SPEAKER_05

Thank you very much for watching this podcast. I'm sorry, I'll be 20 seconds to tell you about my new book, My Human. What is my human? It is the starter journey for somebody who wants to get into or look at self-awareness, self-discovery. It'd be a great gift for somebody who's a bit young, maybe get off the rails a little bit, get them to question who they are and what they're doing here. And it's the price of two coffees, $7.99. It's not labour intensive, it is a very quick and easy read. It's a 20-minute read, 25 minutes, and all the links are in my bios. Thank you very much.

SPEAKER_01

And you know, from there, bro, that's when it started, didn't it? I just I I thought this is aces. I thought I've gone out, I'm sober. I've done what I do when I'm pissed. You know what I mean? I've fighting I'm fighting when I'm pissed, I'm fighting now, I'm sober. Do you know what I mean? I've bloody won. Um, I've been paid, I've got a big challenge.

SPEAKER_05

What was working as at the time then? What were you doing with work?

SPEAKER_01

I was a care worker. Was you? Yeah, yeah. So I've always worked in care settings, but the uh always from like um children's residential care to um adult adults challenging behaviour. I've worked at schools, nurseries. No, I did not know that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've worked with like the the highest level challenging behaviours you could ever think. Highest level of child child mental health and child services. Well to be honest, well this is when you said earlier when do I find inspiration? See, I used to work at an amazing company called Waves in Huddersfield, and a lot of the uh we there were a lot of the lads in there. I find inspiration from a lot of them because do you know, like I said, they they've got they could have uh every reason to struggle in this world, struggle, and they've got a smile on the face every single day. They find joy in the happy in the smile, the the the simplest of things you find pure joy in brother. Do you know what I mean? Um, there's true happiness there, true emotions. Um, and to me that's inspiration. Do you ever go back? Um I'd love yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I know I've still still a lot of my friends still work there, it's still an amazing company. You've got contact, there's one of my boys, big centers, Liam Sentino is always comes to every single one of my fights that he can come to. All the major ones, you've always been there. Centers my boy, I know what's this as well. Um, yeah, so got a got a got a good support team from there, mate. Um, yeah, my boy sent as always about um so yeah, but it's just but a lot of them just very humbling experiences, amazing, mate, to see smiles on people's faces. Do you know what I mean? And to see what's going on.

SPEAKER_05

When, not if, when you you with you got that thing in your mind, all the money and all that sort of thing. Do you think you'll go back and give back in a different way? And you've got all that freedom and all that money.

SPEAKER_01

100%, but 100%. Yeah, you just know it. 100%. The way you've said that you've already thought of it. Like to me, I think at the end of the day, when you're given a platform at the end of the day, if you can't use it for a good evening, 5% for good, obviously at the same time, brother, we've all got to eat, we've all got to sleep, we've all got to make a living, and I'm coming from the top, so I can't not take what I can out of it. But at the same time, if you have a platform and you don't give it give back with it, or you don't use it for that's like the karma thing, isn't it? Yeah, well, I think it's just I think it's just common decency as a human being, isn't it? You know what I mean? Like if you if you've been blessed with a platform or an opportunity, then use it right in it and use it wisely, which is why I can't stand some of these people, you know, some of these people that are on the internet, like I won't say it again. I find you like the epitome of everything wrongs with humanity. You've got a platform and you abuse it, and you send out the worst kind of messages, and you like mouldy fruit in a fruit ball, and you spread out mould and just the wrong message, like you're fully grown adults, you know what I mean. You've got people looking down at you, you've got people. This is why I don't like misbehaviour in the boxing world either. All this fake beef and all this. I was gonna ask you what was one of the questions I was gonna ask you, is it fake or real? Yeah, most of it uh you know, with me, but I don't do it. If you piss me off, you piss me off. It's real. But your person is real, you piss me off, but at the same time, I don't like the fakeness because then it sets a precedent for all the other children and and and and everyone looking up. And I really do see the ripple effects that it goes from having my son and do you know what I mean? And seeing younger, the younger generations of people look up to me. I just see the ripples that it comes out, and I think if you've got a platform and you're a fully going adult mail and you aren't using that platform to push a message, yeah, yeah, have a laugh. Yeah, we're all adults, we all do you know what I mean? We do what we do, we're adults, do you know what I mean? No one's asking anyone to be picture perfect, but some of you just emanate the wrong message 24-7. When I try to look for I try everyone tries to look for a good insight, there's always good in someone, but sadly sometimes I look at some of you, and I can't seem to see the goodness that you put into the world, but then that's on you, innit? That's not on me. That's not you, that's on them, that's on them. But yeah, sorry, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

No, no, yeah, yeah. I think that's a really good message. I think that's a really good message.

SPEAKER_01

Sorry, but I'll get carried away.

SPEAKER_05

No, it's good, just dude. You've been in flow state, it's good, keep going, yeah. No, I think that's amazing. I think that's amazing, and and I think you're dead right. And I think these the people that do not use their voice or their view count or whatever to do something positive.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, just something, brother.

SPEAKER_05

It should if that take that take mentality, that that yeah, like you said, it's right, you've got to eat, you've got to sort yourself out, sort your family out. If there's anything to spare, it should go back.

SPEAKER_01

The rotten inside, you know that, yeah. The rotten inside, brother. They rotten on the outside, but they're rotten on the inside.

SPEAKER_05

And you see that and then could you believe in karma?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, the energies and vibration. Karma, karma's, in my opinion, karma's whether you look at it from a religious point of view, God looking down at you and God judging you internally and externally, or you look at it as in karma, as in a spiritual thing, or you're looking at it just as pure molecular anatomy, but energies and vibrations, brother. Do you know what I mean? One way or another, brother, you just drop a pebble in a pond, it comes back to you. Do you know what I mean? Do you know what I mean? What sort of pebble are you?

SPEAKER_05

So um um you're so like in tune without knowing how in tune you are. I love it. Um you're just so in tune, you just are you in flow state.

SPEAKER_01

That is how I think that just Yeah, but I did a post on the other day, and everything.

SPEAKER_05

I did a post on karma, and I was saying more or less what you said about the last bit of the molecular molecular thing. And because you, if you know you've done wrong, because the universe, like you're manifesting what's happening, you're putting the effort in, you're manifesting it's happening. So you can't trick yourself, can you? You can't trick yourself. No, no, no, can't you? So that them people that think, oh I'm not I'm not doing bad, I'm I'm alright, but they know they are. So the vibration they're putting out there is bad, so they're manifesting bad back, and that's what it is with that frequency thing. That's what that's a post that I did, funnily enough. What you said then. Yeah, they're just they're gonna vibrate it back to themselves, and there's no escaping it because you're putting it out there all the time, you're putting out good. I'm I'm I'm you're dead honest. I'm working on it, I'm doing my best, I'm trying to get here, family. This give back good, dead that's it, and then that will come back and and be good for you. But then the people that we spoke before, and I was saying to the night, um when you start to do good and you start to have that rise or that change, and you want to do something positive, every now and then something will pop up to go to try and bring you back to crumble what you've built, won't they? Like, come on, come on, Luke. Come on, Luke, come back down here, Luke. Come back down here, Luke. Yeah, and you're not, and it's good. You're like, nah, you stay there. I'm alright. I'm all right, I'm going here. You stay there, I'm going there.

SPEAKER_01

It comes, but I mean, sometimes I don't know.

SPEAKER_05

They'll get their thing, won't they?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, they'll get their thing. The little demons will bro. That's what they are. Little demons, that's how I see people, little demons, bro. And like some people can look at it whichever way you want, but in my eyes, the demons, brother. And there's only a certain few of them, um, because obviously there's some people I don't get along with bro. I could not get along with someone, but you can still be an alright person. Do you know what I mean? I don't have to just because I don't like you, don't mean you're the epitome of evil. Yes, you know what I mean.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, but that's a bit dramatic.

SPEAKER_01

But at the same time, I can identify there's some people, brother, and I've met I've met a few people, and you can feel like you mentioned in this room, too. You can feel I felt it. I can feel off some people, and I know I look at people and I know you you you yeah, you're a badness, you're not good, but then is what it is. Not even through their actions or their words, you mean just literally just feel yeah, feel through I think yeah, yeah, but and it I don't know, but at the same time, I aren't perfect myself, so who am I? Do you know what I mean? I still make mistakes, I still hurt people that I love. Do you know what I mean? And not intentionally, do you know what I mean? Um, we all make mistakes, so I aren't the best, do you know what I mean? I aren't a preacher with a prayer book, bro.

SPEAKER_05

But yeah, but that's what I was saying about karma, like intent is another intent. That's another subject. I did it on you. Just I told you in tune it. Like in intent is important. If you do something with that, like you just said, I hurt people, but I didn't mean to. I'm just it wasn't bad intent. I didn't go, I'm gonna hurt you, I'm gonna make you feel sad. It just it just worked that way. Yeah, that's different, isn't it? That's not giving out bad karma, that's just making a mistake. Yeah, that's being human. For the people that know, and then they still do it. I know this is bad, I'm still gonna do it. And it's not like a it's not like a one-off that's bad bad moment or whatever, or it's regular, then yeah, that's that's and some people feed off doing that, bro.

SPEAKER_01

Some people feed off doing that, and that's what makes them demons, brother. And I've said it before, some people say, Oh, nobody's better than anyone else, but some people are better than others, brother, because some people have got every reason on this earth to be the worst of the worst, but yet they'll still try. And some people have got everything on earth to make them the best of the best, but they'll just be the like I said, the epitome of evil, they'll just put nothing into the world but nastiness. So, unfortunately, yeah, some people are better than others because it's all about the intent of the what you're putting into the world, brother.

SPEAKER_05

And you seem quite understand that. I I obviously I'm into self-awareness, the whole point of the podcast is self-self-awareness and stuff. And and what's hard is when you understand, um because I've done a lot of anyway, whatever. What I'm saying is that when you see somebody and you can let it go, you can give them like a buy and you go, alright, I understand he's he's this, he's that, but then there's certain lines that people can cross, and you just can't, you think no. I understand why you're bad, like you say, because you like it or whatever, then no, I'm not I'm not having that. You just can't have it sometimes, can you? You've got to go no.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and that's the unfortunate thing. I think in 2026, but especially I think there's that many flipping reasons and excuses why people don't stand on shit. No, but people don't stand on shit either. People allow people to get away with things like you said, there's a line to be crossed. Um, and nowadays everyone's like, oh he's angry, he's this, he's that. But maybe you just cross my fucking line. Am I wrong for having my line? Do you know what I mean? Because I've got my lines, but uh do you know what I mean? I I'll I'll I'll the nice I can be the nicest guy ever. I uh do you know what I mean? I can be the most respectable guy ever, but I've got a fucking line, and then you cross my line, and then you want to cry and call me a monster, you know, or cry and paint me as a bad guy. Well, you should have just fucking left me be. Do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_05

And them lines are just track on written lines, isn't it? It's anything to do with family, it's anything to do with fucking kids and fucking it's just that there's all them just lines that as proper blokes they wouldn't cross.

SPEAKER_01

Just genuine, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

In any world, you don't cross them lines. Yeah, and I think it's just one was to cross that line, then yeah, they're bad.

SPEAKER_01

Well, do you know what it is? I got adopted, I was put in care, but I got beautiful parents, bro, adopted parents, and they taught me the difference between right and wrong, even though I was doing everything against them at the time, bro. Now I'm older. Every bit of respect and pleaser, even just the pleaser thank you is a my understanding of how the world works, all comes from the respect that my parents taught me. And I think that's I think that's what a lot of people amiss. I think some people just haven't had that respect put into them. And I think these and then other people don't don't stand on that respect as well, brother. You've got to, as a man, you've got to have that respect. Your family, you miss this, your children. There's a line you don't cross, don't take food off my table, don't try, don't try fucking don't try to attack my family, do you know?

SPEAKER_05

There's certain lines I call that I call it in a loose way. I always say it's a bloke code. Me and Richie talk about it. I say that's that that's unwritten line. You'll have a bloke code, there's a blow code, isn't there? You just don't do that, you don't go there.

SPEAKER_01

But do you know what it is? Like it goes back to energy and vibrations when you want to cross that line and you want to take yourself to that far. I'm telling you now, if there's anyone out there that does there is one or two people, but do you know what it is? Well betide you and it won't be tied you, because I'm telling you. I will become an unstoppable force and I will fucking tear your lives apart.

SPEAKER_05

If you were in this room, you'd feel that.

SPEAKER_01

Sorry, sorry. No, no, no, no, no. I love it. I love it. Yeah, no, I think it's good. Fucking, yeah, no, but uh, but that's good. Because some people do, bro. Some people do.

SPEAKER_05

But like you say, if no one's if if if someone like you, I've seen things in the past and experienced things where that person, like we all say now, does that, is that person. And I've seen then that person that was trying to do bad, they don't ever do it again.

SPEAKER_03

No, no, no.

SPEAKER_05

Once they've been told once or taught by the universal or a Luke Dyson or somebody has humbled them because they've crossed the line, is mad. You look at them again, they're a shallow the former selves because they're not a bully anymore, and they just stay over there. Yeah. Because they can't. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah. But then unfortunately, sometimes brother, there's fucking ramifications of having to act like that, isn't there? Do you know what I mean? It it it comes back at you again. Do you know what I mean? So it's all good having a line. But then, unfortunately, like certain people that have crossed my fucking lines now. I've got to deal with I've said it before in the same room. I've I've got people that have crossed my lines, and unfortunately, I've got no other fucking choice but to have to deal with these people when I see them and be that to my own detriment.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, because you can't muck up all the hard work you've done because then it won twice, aren't they?

SPEAKER_01

But then I can't not do it.

SPEAKER_05

I know I know what you mean. I know the blow code thing.

SPEAKER_01

You can't sleep at night, you won't go to sleep at night, would you? What I'll now forgive myself. What precedent, what example am I setting to my son? What precedent example? What precedent example am I setting by getting in trouble? What precedent or example am I doing setting by allowing it? Do you know what I mean? And then even at the same time, when I think about it, do you know what I mean? Being judged by God at the same time, but everyone says, Oh, yeah, forgive, forgive, Christianity, forgive. But at the same time, bro, what did God do to everyone? All the evil on the world, what did he do, brother? He eradicated every single evil bit, bro. Do you know what I mean? We brought a great flood to the earth, bro, and eradicated all the evil and all the badness, bro.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So at the same time, bro, it's all good trying to get me to forgive, but at the same time, even fucking.

SPEAKER_05

You can't you mean you can't deserve things you just try to do. Sometimes you just got to deliver yourself.

SPEAKER_01

Sometimes you just got to fucking flood the place and eradicate.

SPEAKER_05

Do you know what I mean? Love your sayings either, do you know? Love your sayings. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It is what it is, yeah. You've got yeah, so I gotta get stuck in that that in that conundrum, brother. Do you know what I mean? Unfortunately, people have pushed me to that fucking point, and now I am gonna have to deal with it, maybe be it to my own detriment, but then I'm gonna have to fucking suffer the ramifications of the actions.

SPEAKER_05

You know what someone said to me once if God wants it, he'll put him right in front of you. Yeah, if God doesn't want it, you won't come across each other. That that's the way someone told me that once. I thought, yeah, that's a good way of putting it.

SPEAKER_01

And then you've got your to your tests, aren't you? Do you know what I mean? And then it becomes a test. How do you deal with that situation there? And then and hopefully I made the right decisions at the right time because it's all good what the mind wants and what the heart wants, and then it's what's right, do you know what I mean? And and all the and all the issues that come with it. It's a fucking confusing shit. It's gonna it is confusing shit. It's confusing, it's something I'd rather not have to deal with. I wish people had just fucking leaving me alone. Do you know what I mean? Um, but yeah, no, yeah, it is what it is, it is what it is, yeah. It is what it is, we'll deal with it, we'll cross that path when we come to it.

SPEAKER_04

How's your hand?

SPEAKER_01

And's alright, it's a bit well, you can probably see it's oh my god, have a look.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no, it's go on if you it's that a lump.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. Is that your knuckle gone back? No, no, that's so my knuckles still there, it's just a random lump, yeah. Ben at Jit's head, nice son, Ben. Nice son, Ben. I didn't even want to win you. I was trying to so much hardness. Do you know what I mean? JY stood there, 90 kilograms. I'm trying with Ben. And he kept hitting me, kept hitting me, and I said, pop me a fan fuck off, Ben. And I felt my hand go instantly. I thought, no. And then he flew across the cage, hit the side of the fucking cage, went down the side of the cage, sat there like that. I thought, fucking hell, stay down, Ben. Stay down.

SPEAKER_05

My hand's killing. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And I thought, I'll fucking hit your voice. And no, he just jumped up, went, I don't know what sort of mission you were on that day, Ben, but yeah. But yeah, no, I'm getting my teeth on as well at the moment, so I've just had some implants put in. So I'm getting um the once I can get the once they've healed, the implants will be fitted and that and I'll have my composite bonding and my whitening. So it all works, they're all healing at the same time. Was that the first injury you've had in your hands? I've had a few injuries. Um, I've I've kicked people before and snapped my feet. Um, nice one, Tez Mitchell. Do you know what I mean? Tez Mitchell. All these matches you've had, and you remember exactly what it was. Yeah, yeah, I remember I always give people shout out like that. I had no business fighting in these people. Shout out to Tez Mitchell, yeah, kick too hard in the kneecap. That's when I learned how you check a kick, but not by being taught how to check a kick, by having my kick checked. Yeah, that was horrible. Um, yeah, that one hurt. And it broke your butt. Yeah, I thought, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I think what do they call metal? It's tart off. I don't know whatever the fuck it's called. It fucking hurt like it's tart off. Um but yeah, we've had um I had my face broken. Um I've had a few elbows to head, a few kicks to head. Um most of the time when you get it hard enough, you don't really fucking know everyone goes, ooh, it's hardest. Well, if you hit me hard enough, I ain't got a fucking clue. You just wake up and go again, innit? Do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_05

Um yeah, it's worried about you get your head checked or anything. Did you ever get medically checked? Yeah, no, so um regularly or anything, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, I've had yeah, I've had my brain scans, obviously. I'm always getting myself checked and whatnot, but at the same time, brother, uh I know my own body, I know how I feel. Do you know what I mean? And I I'm I'm I look after myself, brother. I'm I do what I do. Um I don't I don't wouldn't say I take any more blood to the head than people in the professional training camps or people doing this or doing that. Um I'd tell you, my life was in a lot more danger six years ago than it ever could possibly be now. Do you know what I mean? So it's all good saying, oh, you the brain, you could possibly have brain injury. Well, I tell you what, six years ago, I was definitely in for going to the bottom of the fucking dumps, mate. Do you know what I mean? There were so many weekends, so many every single night, not even weekends, every single night, but the way I was on the fucking tipping point, do you know what I mean? I've said I've discussed it before in this room, do you know what I mean? With now long before that, I've discussed it with the mental health, and do you know what I mean? I won't go right into it again. Do you know? Every man, I think in 2026, I think as a male, as a even as a female, obviously I'm a male. I think if in some way, shape, or form, we're not absolutely fucked in our head in anyone, every single one of us, even the people that I'm not necessarily say I try with. Um I think every single one of us in this yeah, we're all fucked in the head, and we've all got the right to be, brother, because we live in a fucking horrible world that's full of horrible people, and indirectly or even directly, it makes us all be selfish, brother. Because we have to be selfish to survive. Yeah. Sadly, the world isn't what it used to be when we were growing up.

SPEAKER_05

Communities and stuff like that, you mean?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, just everything, brother, the food we eat, the air we breathe, the life we live, the laws of the rules and regulations, and just the way humanity is full stop.

SPEAKER_05

Can you say that, you know, because I was gonna I did a different post in the end. I was gonna do a post on that full enough, because in my head, I want to give back as much as I can to community. You want to give, but like you say, there's just no time, it's just you're so forced to just look. Yeah, but not selfish in the negative way, just you're forced. Like you say, you're forced. You've got no choice, have you? Because there's no there's not much if you if you're uh a cake or whatever, and there's no fucking pieces left, is there? Yeah, no, because you've used that, you've used it all up every day or whatever, aren't you?

SPEAKER_01

That's it, all the time. And this is another thing, like I get so many people that want me to help, and uh like and that's like another thing. Everyone will always everyone approaches me, they want me to help, and there's always so much help I can do. And time. And if I give out all my help to everyone, where then where do I get left? But that doesn't mean that I won't do anything I can for everyone I can, and everything and anyone, like whatever I can do, at the same time, there's only so much I can do because if not, what's left for me? Because I burnt myself out before, brother. Do you know what I mean? I burnt myself out so many times while you're on this journey, yeah. Well, every yeah, and every corner of the journey, because at the same time, my brother, like we've all got our own fucking shit going on. Do you know what I mean? You get caught up in someone else's shit too much. I mean, how broad do you want your shoulders to be, bro? Do you know what I mean? You know, there's only so much we can juggle mentally, physically.

SPEAKER_05

It's true. During um during lockdown and that, where there's a there's a guy I've interviewed, he's not on yet, um uh James Hunt, and he his story's mad because he have you heard of ayahuasca and stuff like that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, of course, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

He's he's gone, and some of his stories are just mad when he when it comes out. Um mad. But he and he was ex-army, blah blah. And his um the he really does put a lot into the community, and it's so selfless, but he's then got he's only got a certain amount that he can earn because he obviously got he gives it back and stuff, but he is on a mission for the communities, so I hope someone like him does win. Do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, no, because they deserve to be.

SPEAKER_05

Because they've sacrificed that, haven't they? Like we were just talking about. Well, we're like going, no, we come from the amount, right?

SPEAKER_01

He needs to be able to breathe, he needs to be able to breathe and be able to something needs to come back onto him.

SPEAKER_05

Well, what was you doing during COVID?

SPEAKER_01

Through COVID, I worked, I was care worker still, brother. Oh, was you still there was it yeah? Work through care work. What a fast journey you've had though. Did you have the job? Do you have to have the job? Yeah, and what um well I can't get in trouble for it now. I don't know. Well, I don't know, can I?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, well, you can't say.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know, I don't know. No, no, hypothetically I couldn't have had it. Hypothetically, I couldn't have had it.

SPEAKER_05

Let's pretend hypothetically, hypothetically. I don't think it's not. There were two universal paths, and one Luke took it, yeah, and was a good boy, and the other Luke, let's say, just talk about the look hypothetically who didn't.

SPEAKER_01

I'll just put it this way, I had no dickhead.

SPEAKER_00

I think it was a bank of a you know I said it. I knew when the fucking said it, didn't I? No, no one's sticking fucking nothing in me. No one's sticking nothing in me.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no. I don't agree, I don't know, I don't I did uh put my tin foiler on and call me fucking Simon, but I don't fucking agree, man. I don't know, it's not for me, but I don't know. I haven't in I didn't have it, I haven't endangered anyone's life. Anybody I was around is still in full health and and and leading a life um to the full capabilities and abilities. They did not get COVID through me, they never did get COVID through me. So therefore it is what it is. I had no impact. No, I did not have the job. Don't agree with it. Yeah, um, and I believe we'll see.

SPEAKER_00

I I don't I didn't go into what I mean, I go into it. I don't know where that question comes from, you know.

SPEAKER_05

I don't even know that I just said it, I don't even know where it came from. Government leave me alone. We know we know we know, we know, we know.

SPEAKER_02

Can you start more broad, good bro, leave me alone?

SPEAKER_05

I mean, not to all that put you on the spot in there.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know where it comes from, it just come out and just act to think no, but I didn't know I never put anyone in there now. So no, it just is what it is, and at the same time, but like I'm gonna go, do you know what I mean? Like, killing myself, mate, but do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_05

But anyway, right, I was like a bank of a question. I can't I kind of live before I asked, I was just I was just sort of checking who I thought you was, do you know what I mean? Without without getting tailed by car on okay, I don't want to run over because Richard told me I've um well as exactly right there's um I I I'm gonna start to wind it down.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

But I there's two there's two things I've started to do at the end of the podcast, like quite a newish thing. One, which I don't know if you know anything about it or not, but if you don't mind just putting up with me, I've been I've been guessing people's star signs just to see if I can I love astrology. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't tell me. Um do you want just before you don't tell me still, but what do you think to astrology just randomly? Um Do you know anything about it your bobbles?

SPEAKER_01

I mean, at the end of the day, brother, it's been about since be since before time you began. Well, not before time began, since time started, didn't it? Do you know what I mean? Written by the ancient Egyptians, ancient Mayans. Do you know what I mean? You know some shit about it. It's not just a fighter, you know. No, no, um, I believe it's yeah, it's all it's been recorded for all civilizations, so be ignorant to think that there's nothing there, but at the same time, I don't I I don't truly understand it, and it's not something I've looked into. Um, but yeah, no, you'd be ignorant to think that there's not something there, brother. So yeah.

SPEAKER_05

There's that famous quote that JP, you know, JP Morgan, the famous finance the famous quote he said that um millier millionaires don't use astrology, billionaires do. Have you heard that? No, no, no. JP Morgan quoted it. So I love astrology numerology, I think it's amazing. It's proper. Have a look into it. It's amazing. In fact, there's a lady uh called um Rachel did a post the other day. I'm gonna interview her actually soon, and she did my birth chart, and it's just mad. Oh I'd love to see your birth chart.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, can I get her to do it? Yeah, 100%, 100%. I'm into anything like that.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, birth charts are mad.

SPEAKER_01

Rachel birth chart, let's go. Yeah, I'll do it before that.

SPEAKER_05

I'll do it before I'll I'll message her after, get her to message Hannah. Yeah, yeah. But it's so interesting, man. Oh, it's so interesting.

SPEAKER_01

What is it? What's that?

SPEAKER_05

What a birth chart.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, I don't know.

SPEAKER_05

So, like when you so you need to know, oh you won't know.

SPEAKER_01

I know everything, I know everything about when I was born. Well, well. And time.

SPEAKER_05

What the time?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I don't know. I've got my original birth, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

How bad was that to meet you judge and go, well, you wouldn't know. How bad was that?

SPEAKER_00

The intent was good. Don't even feel bad. Don't feel like Tracy Week. I feel bad at all.

SPEAKER_01

No, yeah, no, I don't have all the well, I have most of my original stuff. I think we can figure it out. We can we'll what we what we got, Rachel.

SPEAKER_05

Um right, I it was right. I my guess yours is a really tough. You did obviously know what your star sign is, though, don't you?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, um don't, because I'm you look at me like you know I'm gonna get it wrong, don't you?

SPEAKER_00

I don't know.

SPEAKER_05

I've got I've got one wrong, right? The other ones, I've got right, because this just to quickly, right? Everyone's two star signs, yeah. So this is so are you talking about me? So my main star sign is Pisces, yeah? But my rising sign is Aquarius, so which is what the world sees. So uh Pisces obviously deep thinkers, which is why I love like old questions and shit like that, and then Aquariuses are um very um unique characters, they can talk to anybody, blah blah blah. They've got a quirky personality and they're they're quite driven and stuff. So I am a m a mix of my two star signs, if you like. So if I get it wrong on the bat, when you find out what your rising sign is, you might be that one, or just could be fucking. Why are you looking at me like that?

SPEAKER_00

Now you're making me think about how I look I'm gonna go.

SPEAKER_05

Fucking hell. You're a whoa tough one, you are. You're the toughest one. You are the toughest one I've had a go at. I'm I'm gonna go for the this three. I can't separate these three. Just tell me if it's one of you have to tell me which one. So I'm gonna go for either Leo, Aquarius, or Cancer. Fucking, I knew it. I knew I'd get yours wrong. Come on tell me.

SPEAKER_01

Scorpio. No, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Oh my god, it makes sense now.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, Scorpio.

SPEAKER_05

You look into Scorpios, yeah, yeah. That makes sense. Yeah, that makes sense. You Rich is a Scorpio.

SPEAKER_02

Isn't it, yeah?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, and you just some of my daughter's a Scorpio, and there's something about Scorpios, they just they just this sounds very bad, right? But it's fucking dark, they can't fucking forgive. There's something fucking wrong to them. They just go bang, that's it, you're done. Oh, yeah, done. And that's it. But Pisces could be like, alright, oh, you're done, but Scorpios have to go to that next level. So if Pisces, for example, can go, oh you're done, you're I'm I'm done with him now. Cut you off. I'm happy with that. Scorpios, no, no, they can't do that. They have to go and see him and all. That's a Scorpio trait, that is, you know. That's bad. When you find out what your rising sign is, though, see if I was right one of them three, because you never know. Well, yeah, no, a rising sign. Well, I'll tell you after Rachel will tell you. There's a rising sign. Oh, right, Rachel. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But there's a rising sign, so I've gone for Leo, cancer, or Aquarius' rising sign. Okay, and then that's that then. Thanks for putting up with me there. Right. Right, and then the the last question is another like you know, the first question, who are you? Which I loved your answer because you knew you gave me the answer of father, da da da da da, but you knew your eyes told me you knew, and then the real answer came out after, which is like you're just not ready to see who you are. And I thought that was a mad answer. I love that answer. Because then the real answer came out, didn't it?

SPEAKER_01

That's what that's why I'm scared to be on my own all the time, brother. That's why I sit at that's why I sit at home, that's why I sit up at night and fucking that's why it tears that's what eats me alive when I'm at night, innit? I think that's why there's uh some I think that's what about a big part of my problem is not wanting to know who the fuck I am, innit? And not wanting to. You will go on that journey, you know. I don't know whether I want to know if I'm a good person or you're a good person. Well, I've done a lot of I've done I've done bad, brother. I've spent a lot of bad. I'm still not a bad still We've all done still hurt people, but but I don't know. I don't know.

SPEAKER_05

It's what I think not about being good or bad, it's about it it's it's I understand what I'm doing.

SPEAKER_01

I I I don't know. I want to be better, I try to be better, and I'm working to be better every single day, you know. That's all you can do. I mean, that's that's all my my intentions are honest, brother. That's all they are. My intentions are honest on this planet. I love my beautiful fiance, I love my sons, I love my children above both my children. Unfortunately, I don't really get to see one of them. Um But you know what's mad? I said before, before all this, before any of this, I said, you know what it is, one day I'll become that famous. What have a choice but to know who I am? And you know one day he will know who I am, and I hope he knows that day I'll um be there waiting for him and I'll love him and I'll give him everything he ever wants. Or whatever I have a bad word to say about his mother, I'm not interested in that. I just want my chance to be the father I know I can be. Um But at the same time, I've got I still love my other son, Ken. Shout out to Kane, I love you, lad. Um you always seem to watch you're like me, you infiltrate everything, so you'll see that. I know you will. And shout out to my dad as well. Sorry, I'm doing shout out to Nat and to Hannah as well. Yeah, I've already said I love you. So thank you. Because it's not just a team effort, bro. Like she should be saying like yeah, she she she always is, she's not behind me. Oh behind every strong man, there's a woman. No, she's not behind me, she's in front of me most of the time. Picking me the fuck up, do you know what I mean? Constantly, bro. Um without her, none of this will be going on. Um I won't wanna I won't wanna without her. I won't wanna without my family. So that's what makes it all worth it, innit? Cut back the bullshit, the watchers, the fucking the the the celebrities and the fucking people, do you know what I mean? One of you four girls. Um I lay in bed with my beautiful feeling every night, and it's just the most amazing feeling ever. I wake up on my son's acting, that's the most amazing feeling ever. I get to go and see my mum and my dad, and I don't get to kind of come down from the drugs or from the alcohol. I get to actually enjoy the family time alcohol with them. And I get them to understand that I was worth the adoption, I was worth the uh choice, and I get to do that while they're fair and health there and they're on this planet. And I get to watch um enjoy a life that they deserve, mate. So at the moment, cutting back all the bullshit.

SPEAKER_05

That was an amazing thing that you just said then. And I was gonna say to you, because you're not ready yet, and I think the time will come for you, and it won't be easy, um because I I've done it and people have done it, um, is when you do want to sit quietly and and look at it, just to just to tell you just before you do it, it's not about whether you've been good or bad. It's just about um accepting and loving yourself and and then and then going on that finding out who you are thing is just it is a mad little journey. And yeah, you're right, it's not yet. Do your thing, do your thing, earn your dog, do your thing, and then when that time comes, and then you'll you'll fucking go on it, and it'll be hard, but it'll be a different sort of release. Do you know what I mean? To fucking fight, it'll be a different sort of release. Well, um the question at the end is um it again, you and what's mad is you know, you answer these questions to people like someone asked me who I am ten years ago. Wait, you're always giving a cough, you're always evolving, aren't you? So you always give different answers. So this is only a snapshot of Luke Dyson right now, isn't it? But that Luke Dyson's gonna change in next month, could be two months. He's gonna constantly evolve, especially if that's because that's clearly who you are. Um is this question is if you look at it as deep as you want or whatever, is I think I know what you're gonna say, but that's why I think I've got your star sign right, one of them star signs. I think it's cancer now, thinking about it. But anyway, is what do you want? What does what do you want?

SPEAKER_01

I want that 2% of the world that the murder that the rest of them have got. I want that 2% of the world. I'm coming for it, I've already got it, like I said, I've already got it.

SPEAKER_05

Then what? Then what do you want? Like I said, say you've got it, say you won the large, say you won for 20 million today or something like that, and you dropped it in your bank today. What do you want?

SPEAKER_01

Just to see how good it's around. Just to be that that I genuinely I just want to do it right. I know obviously I'd fucking love to live in the night. I don't know, it's hard. I wanna it's hard and perfect dad, like when my son's older. Yeah, that was my fucking dad. Like now I'll cry if I say this fucking help.

SPEAKER_05

Sorry, that's that's me, is me, I'm I'm doing that thing, it's right, it's right.

SPEAKER_01

Um yeah.

SPEAKER_05

It's just that you know what crying is just. Energy moving. It's just energy moving. Let it move. Let it move.

SPEAKER_01

Like now I'm all doing it. I look at my like when you said to me, don't say all that, you've got all your dad. Like, my dad to me is like he's a amazing man. Do you know what I mean? Like, I want my son to think that of me, you know. I want my missus to think that of me, I want my mum. Yeah, it is what it is, yeah. Them kind of things. What's your dad's name? Uh Martin. Big up to my dad. Um, I want it to be worth it, brother. It all can't be for nothing, innit? You're amazing. None of it's for nothing, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Ah not in a gay way. Can I give you a little log of it? Yeah, man, yeah, man, of course, but of course, quite. You're amazing, you know, you're amazing, you know. Honestly, man, yeah, you are. You know, I don't think you know. We'll finish the interview now. Luke, I don't think you know how fucking big and good your soul is.

SPEAKER_03

No, I appreciate it.

SPEAKER_05

And and and and I just wish, I hope that you get it's gonna be a tough, it's gonna be a tough journey for you, man. You will get it, you will get it, and you will do so much fucking good when you've got it. You've got so much fucking like you've got to fuck it, you fight every fucker and do all that, and then there'll be just fucking love everywhere. You'll just be giving it out everywhere. Yeah, it'll be fucking meant. Honestly, dude, I fucking can't wait to watch you actually. Honestly, I can't wait. I think you're amazing. I don't appreciate it. And um thank you, and uh, yeah, I'm just yeah, I'm properly chuffed that you're coming. I'm I really appreciate it.

SPEAKER_01

No, thank you for having me down by the channel.
