Today on the Human Mass Podcast, I have Rachel Murray, writer, speaker, and astrologer. I'm looking forward to this one. Thank you very much for coming.
SPEAKER_00Thanks, Alex.
SPEAKER_03And I don't know if you know or don't know, depends how popular the podcast gets. There's only one pre-planned question. Do you know what that is? You do, don't you? I do. You're the first person. Now that means it's getting more popular. So the first question, Rachel, and it's the only planned question. Who are you?
SPEAKER_00I actually love this question. I am someone who's here to disrupt outdated systems. I think differently to a lot of people, and I am here to disrupt the systems. And a lot of the time it's belief systems that hold people back from their fullest potential and their most authentic selves. I think I'm here, I know I'm here to disrupt those systems.
SPEAKER_03Okay, and that is a great answer, but that answer I'm gonna push a little bit. I think that answer is more a question of what was your purpose. So who are you? Below that mass. Who are you? It's a it's a horrible question.
SPEAKER_00Here's a hard question. I think, I mean, I feel like I am unique in some way. I'm different to people, and I don't mean that in like an ego way. I mean in a way that I think, in a way that I express, in a way that I create. I think I'm just different as we all are, but I think I've now come to a point where I'm actually realizing that difference. Um and I don't know if that still answers the question quite fully, but I think I'm at a point where I'm like, okay, I actually really recognize who I am beneath the layers more than I ever have.
SPEAKER_03Is it an ever-evolving question, do you think?
SPEAKER_00It's an ever-evolving question, and it's also that's why I love the question, Alex, because most people, and if you'd have asked me this two years ago, I would have struggled to answer that question.
SPEAKER_03Like you'd have said name job.
SPEAKER_00I would have said my job title. I would have said, Oh, I like to go to the gym and lift weights. I don't know what I would have said that was truly authentic to me, that made me different and unique. And now I feel like I'm getting to that point where I know what I'm good at, I know what my gifts are, I know my skills that are like unique to me. It's hard to put that into words, and it is an ever-evolving journey.
SPEAKER_03It is, and okay, let me uh expand on the question, which I haven't done before actually. Let me expand on the question a little bit more. So, who are we? It's the first time I've asked this one on a podcast. So we say who are you, and it's an ever-evolving. So, who are we, do you believe? So uh that's yeah, it's a first.
SPEAKER_00It's quite a deep one, as well.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you know, because everyone's got a different version and answer to that, haven't they?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because I think we're all one. That's quite a woo-woo way of saying.
SPEAKER_03It's not, and other guests have said it.
SPEAKER_00We are consciousness expressing itself. I do believe that. I think we all have a vessel, which is our bodies that we came here to express ourselves through. Um, and that's why I'm so passionate about breaking down these systems that tell us we are not that, because really they tell us that we're all the same. We're all here to just work nine to five, stay in line, conform, chase these milestones. That's not who we are. What we're really here to do is express ourselves so authentically, so creatively, see who we are, like what the gifts we have, how we're different and unique. And it all comes through source, divinity, God, whatever people want to call it, really. It's not ours, is it? We don't own our expression, we're just a source of that expression. Um that was deep.
SPEAKER_02That was good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, it's it does feel a bit deep, but the question is deep.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, it's good. Uh and what unfortunately, what stops people doing that, if you agree, is fear. It's just fear. And it's fear of people's opinions, it's fear of failing. They're the two, I think, the biggest things, people's opinions and and fear of failing. And what how would we explain to people? Because I I don't really know the answer, I suppose, either. Those people that have a yearning inside because not everybody has that yearning, do they?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I know.
SPEAKER_03It would be there if they looked, but on the it's not they haven't got it, if you like. Yeah, but they are stressed to death, all they're thinking about is I've got the bills coming out at the end of the month, I've got two kids, busy. You know, it's those real people, if you like, yeah, that that I would I'd like to try and wake up as part of this podcast as well, yeah, is how they can do that because I've been there and it you you can't think outside your own little world because you're too busy stressing, aren't you? Yeah, but if those people, because they are the crux of that, the um the the basis of the of the society, yeah. So if they started to wake up a bit, wouldn't that collapse society as well?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, 100%. No, it would, it's a gradual process, right? I I can really relate to that feeling because for 10 years I worked corporate job, well, only two, but in the same industry for 10 years. And I never, until I was at the 10-year mark, did I ever sit there and ask myself questions like, am I really here just to do this?
SPEAKER_03What triggered that?
SPEAKER_00I had an awakening moment, to be honest. Um side meditation was going through some difficult stuff emotionally. And yeah, I mean it's quite a long story, but I think it it goes back to when I was 22. About 22, I went to a psychic clairvoyant when I was 22, and she told me stuff about my future that energized me immensely.
SPEAKER_02I got the I got the chills there. You got the chills there, yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's a sign. Um energised me immensely immensely, if I can speak. Energised me immensely, and I came out of that room and ran straight to the car where my mum and my sister were, and I remember just being like, oh my gosh, like she's all this stuff like about my future and these things that she's told me, and didn't consciously understand why. Because I was living in my 20s, like you're distracted, you're young, you're having fun, like I had some amazing moments. I was living in London, I did that decade of my life. Also, didn't really have the people around me, enough people around me, who were open to questioning these things. I mean, if you're questioning those things at 22, then you're deep, right? And it's hard. Like, some people, most of us aren't that deep at that age. And then it came to my 30s, and like I say, I started meditation on the recommendation of my sister, it's the best thing I've ever done.
SPEAKER_03Can I pause you there? Yeah. Sorry, because I'm thinking about from the listener's perspective, just go back for me. I'll remember where we're up to.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Just go back. What did the psychic say? Because if I was a listener, be like, what did the psychic say?
SPEAKER_00Um psychic said, and let me just try and think of some one-liners. Um she told me she told me that I would like working abroad. Um, she told me things like you have passion, you have strong opinions, be passionate about them. Um, she told me um like about writing, which I'd kind of fallen out of at that time because I did it at university, and then my actual career didn't really involve that much writing. Um, but like world working abroad, like inspiring things, you know, like things that made me feel energized, like, okay, yeah, world working abroad, love to do that. Um, having passionate opinions, putting the world to rights was one of the things she said. These little snippets of things that she said just really energized me. There was also information about ancestors and, you know, stuff that she couldn't have known. You can't Facebook that stuff. Um, that made me question, like, wow, like how can people know this stuff? Like, how does she know this about me? And also, because I wasn't consciously aware back then, those statements, those little fragments of what she gave me clearly hit my consciousness in a way that I wasn't able to recognise quite fully, but I could feel. And I think that is what's key. Like, I could feel what she told me. Something within me was like, yeah, that world working abroad, passionate opinions, like put the world to rights, like be passionate about it. Like those things I could feel in my body because I was so energized and I came out of there. And then as I say, I lived my 20s, just not forgetting about it. It was always in the back of my mind. It was always in the back of my mind.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because we plant to see these things. Plants to see it. Everyone's self-awareness journey is so different. Yeah. When uh mine was probably I I went for a Reiki session, and that just awakens things in you. It's not just a physical thing, Reiki, is it? And as you know about Reiki.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I do, yeah. I've actually trained my Reiki, yeah. Yeah, my level one too.
SPEAKER_03And uh and then um Yeah, it's like just things can pop out three months later, six months later, can't they? So then, so nothing no action was done then until then you started, then your sister mentioned meditation. Yeah, so that's where we were, sorry.
SPEAKER_00I yeah, no, I think there was no conscious action in that time in terms of self-awareness. I think it was definitely a period of life where like you think you're really aware because you're 20, you're young, or in your 20s, and you're kind of like, oh yeah, I know myself. And obviously, you do learn like along the way, you make mistakes, things happen. You do learn more about who you are, but uh unfortunately being self-aware requires actual conscious effort. And at that point, no, I hadn't consciously made a deep effort to do anything about looking inside. So as I turned 30, my sister said, You should try this meditation. Guided or it was guided at that time because um it was an app that she sent me called Balance, and I was just struggling to sleep. I'd gone through a breakup, gone through some difficult stuff emotionally, like all over the place, and I knew that I needed something to kind of regulate me a bit better. But again, best decision I ever made because meditation just changed everything for me. Becoming aware of my thoughts, and then I think it sounds weird, but it wasn't actually that long for me to do a few days of meditation and then feel like my mind was clearer. Like, even now I know people struggle with meditation because they have racing thoughts. Like, I think I may be lucky, or maybe it's a gift for me, but I don't have racing thoughts. Or not obviously at some points I do, but for the most part, if I meditate, I don't have loads of thoughts coming into my head.
SPEAKER_03Everyone's got a different style, aren't they? Most people start off with a guided meditation as I first dip into it, and they're like, everyone's got a different way of dealing with it. Like when if I need to get back into meditation, when I do do meditation, uh as the thoughts and things come in your mind, I just say thank you, and just say thank you. And that's what that's what works for me. But different people have different versions. Like someone said once, uh, I see the thoughts as clouds and I wash them away. And everyone's got their own version of it, and that's supposed the message to people who are listening. Yeah, is there's no it's not a uh a military thing, is it? This is how you meditate, you must do it like this, you must have it's quite unique to everybody, everybody, isn't it?
SPEAKER_00It's so unique, and the funniest thing for me about it is I mean, I said this earlier, what am I here to do? Disrupt systems. One of the systems is like people's fears around, oh no, I can't do that, it's too hard, I've got too many thoughts. That's a that's a belief, and also that's not serving you. Nothing good comes from comfort zones. Like, if you're comfortable in meditation, amazing, but 99% of people are not, and I still, even though I don't have racing thoughts, I'm still not always comfortable in my meditations. There's still gonna be stuff that comes up for me every so often. But I think people dismiss it because they think, oh no, I have too many thoughts, I can't do that, it's too uncomfortable for me. But that's the whole point. Like, you have to get comfortable with that discomfort of okay, I'm witnessing my thoughts, they're not part of me, they're just passing thoughts. As you say, the clouds that you just they just come through you and they're gone. But it's the best thing I've ever done because, again, for your own awareness, like you start thinking, oh, okay, like, or you see like the things that pop up in your mind a lot, and I think I became a clearer channel then for insight to come through me. I started connecting with my spirit guides, I started connecting with my higher self. Like I would do automatic writing where I would meditate and just like a stream of consciousness would just come from me. And it just took it just blew my mind and it changed my life because then I was like, Well, what am I doing? I'm much more than this life. Like, everyone is much more than they probably realize they are. Everybody, everybody, everybody, honestly, everybody, and I'm not saying this as a diss to like, oh yeah, you just work a nine to five. I've been there and I felt that feeling. It's not like there's nothing wrong with you. Like, we're in a society that tells us that's what we should do. But if you don't feel fully fulfilled and lit up by your everyday life, that's a problem.
SPEAKER_03It is a problem. It's a problem. You wait, it's like you want to just go, rah, wake up.
SPEAKER_00It's like a problem.
SPEAKER_03Like, the you know, going back, there's a couple of things we've talked about there, what you said. So spirit guides I want to touch on. And when you go to sleep, and this is a random thing to say, yeah. It just comes to my mind. So, because when you meditate, even like before we started this, uh, I said, Rachel, should we just just take a deep breath each and just get into the zone? So we both did it. And when you oh when we I don't know about you, but when you open your mind, you just just it's a completely where do we go? You have a little meditation, a little deep breath. We literally did it for like 20 seconds, didn't we? But then it you just felt like you went somewhere, don't you? And then you open your eyes and you're back here in the present. And it's amazing because meditation is like you're dipping into that world. Humans have to sleep. Why? Where are we going? What are we doing? What's your views on that? I don't know whether it's just come to me to ask you that. I don't know why. You might not have even been.
SPEAKER_00It's so true. I mean, depends what position you're in, where you go, because like just then I just like took a deep breath, centered myself, grounded myself in my body, so you can feel where you are, you're present, you're ready. Sometimes I know for a lot of people it'll be like a little pep talk, like, come on, like let's go. Before something like this, where you're like, right, just like gear yourself up. So that will depend in terms of where you go in your meditation. But yeah, where we where do we go in our sleep? Great question. We're going into an altered state of consciousness. This is exactly what happened to me in my meditation, and that's what ultimately woke me up, right?
SPEAKER_03Because I saw the very first meditation or no, it was five days in.
SPEAKER_00So the first one I did guided. Um, I did a five-day or week-long guided meditation journey. And then I went to do you know the float um floating bath thing where you you lay in Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, you're in like a big bath and it's like full of salt, and you just float in it. Yeah. Clues in the name. And um, yeah, I I closed my eyes. Wasn't doing a guided meditation, they just have like a little bit of music, and then the music goes off, and you're just in silence, and you can turn the lights off. And I think I did, and it was like, that's big, you know, you're in like a literally enclosed box. And I didn't feel scared, but I felt like a rush of heat coming over me. And my eyes were closed, but in my mind's eye, I could see an eye coming out at me, and it blinked, right? And this was so vivid and so real that I knew what I'd seen, but I didn't quite understand what it was. And obviously, afterwards, and I kind of was like, I think that's my third eye, like you know, something big has just happened to me because, like I say, I felt warm all over, and I saw this eye, I could see every detail, like the eyelashes and the way it blinked at me slowly. And then I came out of there and I remember calling my mum, and I said to my mum, like, Mum, I think I'm having a spiritual awakening. And and afterwards, I was like, Where's have those words come from? Like, I had no idea what a spiritual awakening was. I'd never met anyone who'd been through one, I'd never spoken to anybody about an awakening. I had no knowledge of this stuff, but yet I knew from what had just happened to me that I was having an awakening. Like, it is the most mind-blowing thing. So you like Google afterwards and sort of trying to make sense of it or I looked through like third eye, I looked at like, okay, what could this be? It's the third eye, and then I actually got back in touch with the clairvoyant psychic that I'd met when I was 22. Yeah, because I was like, I think this links to that. So again, like the pieces were being formed in my mind, right? Like cogs were turning, the consciousness was kind of switching on, and I was like, who can I speak to? I need to speak to that lady. Um, and I went back and I explained to her, and she was like, Yes, like you've opened your third eye. Um, da-da-da, like gave me more insights and just affirmed to me what I already knew, which was something I actually forgot to say earlier. One thing she did tell me when I was 22 is you will be you will be spiritual in the future. Like she told me that when I was 22. You'll be spiritual in the future. And again, I didn't know what that meant, right? Like, I'm 22. Spiritual what? If anything, I glossed over that point of all the things I'd written down from that 20 when I was 22, and I just loads of notes. That is the point I glossed over the most because I thought, what does that mean? And and why is that relevant to me? And like it just didn't register at all. I didn't even know what any of it meant. Um, so when I recalled her at the age of 30 and said, this has just happened to me, that's when I started to connect more the dots because I was like, okay, she's told me this is what's in my future, this is what she's reading. The energy she was getting from me at that time, a lot of it's just started to transpire and like became more forward in my consciousness.
SPEAKER_03Um what you're kind of not lucky with, some people don't have this like awakening because you can't unsee something, can you? If a wee saw and whatever there, you can't then just decide you haven't seen it. You've seen it, haven't you? You've you're now awake to something. Yeah, is then they can go into some people can go into a depressive state because they think, oh, what's it all about then? And they can go down. But I think that's where purpose comes in.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03If they can find a purpose, but then that's where fear comes in. Sorry to keep going layers and layers, but you know, people go, Oh my god, I can't see this world, it's not for me. And and then they go, Oh no, what's it all about then? Then they can find a purpose, and then fear comes in and says, Oh no, you can't do that because people will think this of you, and you might fail, and it might not be right for you. And so have you had did you have that all of it? It was the did you all of it? Did you have the what's it all about then? And then the purpose, then the fear.
SPEAKER_00You've had it, you've had I had a I didn't know that about that. I was just guessing a proper awakening, right? Like an awakening is never comfortable, it is a journey, it's it's equally terrifying and liberating at the same time. I had no one around me, I think I said this earlier, who understood. No one had been through one. Um, my mum was my absolute rock because she listened and tried her best to understand, and I just needed that. Like, I needed somebody to try and understand. Um, but I went through, yeah, like, okay, what is this? Like, how is this possible? Like, why it why is this happening to me? Um, what am I meant to do with this information? How am I meant to speak about this? Like, no one's gonna understand, people are gonna think I'm crazy. Um I didn't tell them for a long time, and I don't think I ever had a proper discussion with the people that I was kind of close with at that time. Really, there were a couple of friends. Um Natasha, I spoke a lot to, but really, like most of my friends, I didn't keep, I didn't say much to them. I I couldn't, I felt like I was gonna be judged in some way. I couldn't like be truthful because I felt like people just aren't gonna get it. And if anything, when I had tried to speak to a couple of people, I felt like if anything, they were more worried about me and my mental health and thinking that yeah, like maybe she's going a bit crazy.
SPEAKER_03There's another lesson there, isn't there? Because if you try and get um, what's the word? Try and get people to validate something about yourself, you're always gonna be in in you're gambling your happiness constantly, aren't you? If you're trying to get people to validate it for you.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, and I luckily found like Reiki from there, as we were saying earlier. I went to um I did trained in Reiki, and then I met some amazing open-minded people um who were obviously going through similar sort of things or had experienced similar things. Um and that really helped because I didn't have that before. But the fear was massive because I was like, uh, this is a part of who I am now. Like it changed me as a person. That experience, as you said, you cannot unsee what you've seen, but I knew what I'd seen and I started to understand what it meant, and I knew it was so unbelievably significant that I couldn't live a normal life after that. Like I know it sounds crazy, but how can you not think about that every day when you've just seen something that you thought wasn't possible and you've just woken up to all of this truth that you didn't know existed, and you've realized that your presence and everybody's presence in this world is so much bigger than you ever thought it was. It was like living a lie for 30 years. It's like I thought I knew how to do it. Or preparation. Yeah, preparation, for sure, preparation. Because I had to live that. How could I now help people through similar feelings if I haven't lived through those feelings? It was an absolute initiation. But also, you feel like you've lived a lie. Like I say, you're like, how have I lived 30 years not knowing that it's so much deeper? I've never asked my I'd never asked myself questions. I should have been asking myself questions, which is when the time comes.
SPEAKER_03And then the but then the world is still the world, it's still the 3D-ish world. Yeah. Where you got to, you need you still need to pay them bills, you still got to live somewhere, pay for food, and that's that horrible little gap where we can't just live, unfortunately, as free as we want to, because we've still got these real things happening to us, aren't we? Yeah. So it's and then I suppose it's the you're not hoping the right word, you will be rewarded, I suppose, financially, but not because you want to drive a Lamborghini. You'll be rewarded financially to enable you to carry on doing the work that you're purpose, I suppose. Is that right? Yeah, I'm not sure. I don't know whether we're putting it or not. I'm not putting words into mouth.
SPEAKER_00You are no, you are because it's energy at the end of the day, and like when you start realizing that's how energy works, when you're in a corporate job, they're paying you for your energy, your time, and you know, you're on a salary because every time, every month you're designated these hours, we're paying for your energy to be here. When you're tapping into your truest, most authentic energy, that energy is moving through you in a way that's it has to be a return on that, like it's a loop, right? So I'm not saying it's instant, like you start living your purpose and you just you're an immediate millionaire. It doesn't really work like that. But it's the universe rewards that courage, right? You have to step into the version of yourself that you know exists, which a lot of people is so scary to do it. Like, I'm not gonna. Sit here and say that I didn't have doubts all the time and I didn't think, What am I doing? Of course I did. I'm a human being. As you say, like balancing that fact that you have to pay the bills, you have to live, you want to thrive, but you also know that there's something bigger for you is hard.
SPEAKER_03But it's like going through another apprenticeship, isn't it? Yeah. You've already learned a lot. You've already learned a lot of stuff. Now you're like start from the beginning almost. Yeah. So to build a new little career off. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And then Which is difficult. It is difficult. And also with when you're becoming um like an entrepreneur or you're doing your own thing or building your own brand, like you're learning every day about yourself, but also like what works, what doesn't, constantly testing. When you're in a nine to five, or when particularly when I was in a nine to five, I can't say like I hated what I did because I did. There was parts of it I did love and enjoyed, but I didn't have that. There was nobody in me pushing me to grow, really. Like nobody around me was like on a journey of, oh, how can you like test and learn? How can you be a better person? How can you give back to people? Like in that environment in the corporate world, there was nobody like helping me to grow. It was all just like numbers and profit and KPIs and you know all this jargon. It doesn't mean anything. I wanted to feel like my life meant something, and I think that was the key difference.
SPEAKER_03And and and just to clear, I think if you agree with this or not, what uh some some of the guests that we speak to and blah blah blah, it always seems to be, which is nice, helping people. But someone's purpose, if anyone's watching this, it could be just they love woodwork, but they're in a a corporate job, but they love making things with wood. That's you, that's you, go do it. Yeah, and that's the message, isn't it? It's not always got to be in a grandiose way on social media like we're doing, yeah, and that risk that way. Yeah, it it's the message, I suppose, is find what you love and go do that.
SPEAKER_00100% you've summed it up perfectly because whatever you're passionate about, whatever you love doing, that is your ultimate purpose. It doesn't, as you say, it doesn't have to be a career, but if you're doing it and it brings you joy, then it automatically brings everyone around you joy. Like you're coming into contact with people who are like, okay, I also love woodwork, and how you're bonding through that, and you're raising your own vibration, you're tapping into passion and joy and authenticity, and that is what collectively impacts all of us. It's like a ripple. So it doesn't have to be my day job is my purpose. But as long as you're setting aside time to tap into your creative side and be passionate and joyous and childlike and expressive, like you've got some purpose in your life, that's what it's all about. Back then, I didn't really have anything that really made me feel like that.
SPEAKER_03Because inevitably they will then step into that as their full-time thing, inevitably. They might not know this, but yeah, they're doing that and they love it, and the next thing you know, they're selling it, and then it gets, oh actually, I could do this, and they take the risk and and then they'll look back.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. Opportunities come from that. Those are like I like to think of it, yeah, it's aligned, and I like to think of it as like how the more you're tapping into those energies, the closer you are to like source, like the creative source, let's say, one that is like divinity. I don't know. Are you religious? I'm not religious, I just I'm a spiritual, I'm a spiritual being. So I don't have I think religion is too stringent for me. There's too much rigidity in religion. I just am spiritual in the way that I am philosophical and I want to know the answers and I want meaning. Um so I don't really think of it as God or or a human, I think of it as just like a source of energy. Um, but I think the more we tap into passion and joy and authenticity, the closer we become to that higher version of ourselves is also a great way to look at it, right? You're tapping into that higher version of yourself, and then of course the energy's got to come back around because nobody can say they don't feel good from feeling good. Like you're you're passionate, like you're gonna feel good. People around you are gonna feel good. Like you walk into a room, you're with somebody who's like doing something they love. Like everybody feels that it ripples, like you're closer to being it's a way of it's an energetic, energetical way of confirming something to yourself, isn't it?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. When I started this, for example, I'd I'd be working, and then at night I'd do the podcast. So I'm tired. Yeah, I've got you know big changes going on in my brain and families and responsibilities, and then I do a podcast at night, yeah, and then afterwards I'm energized. So you think that's gotta be right, then isn't it? How can I be energized? I've just done this, done that, got all this going on, I've just finished this podcast, said goodbye, and I'm all energized. It's gotta be right, hasn't it?
SPEAKER_00That is exactly it. Like, people don't, we're never never taught, we're never taught to listen to what we feel. Like from being young and you go to school and you're taught to like it's logic and it's like memorizing things and tests. But what you feel isn't like we're not sat in rooms going, okay, like how are you feeling right now? Like, does this make you feel good? Does that make you feel good? Like if we listen to how we feel, and as you say, energized from something is a sign that that's the highest version of you. And then if you're engaging in stuff that doesn't make you feel good, then it's like, okay, well, why is that? Maybe that's part of the conditioning that I've kind of picked up along the way that doesn't really serve my highest potential. Like your highest potential is always gonna energize you, it's always gonna make you feel good. Like that is exactly what it's there to do, and we all just need to start finding that and tapping into it more.
SPEAKER_03I think if people if when they if they if they're watching this, think, oh yeah, yeah, she's right, he's right. I'm gonna do this. What they might find is right, it's um it's I don't know, Badminton, it could be anything, woodwork. And they do it, and and then there's a layer, they don't realise there's a layer. So they've done the first thing to try it, but actually that's not what it is, but you've made that first step. You see what I mean? Yeah, and then you keep you thinking actually, no, I'm not getting that the vibe that they said, I don't feel energized, I'm just but I'm doing something. So yeah, that's cool because you're on a self-worth thing, you're doing something for yourself, and then what I suppose my question is, how would they then find that? How do you find that purpose and that passion for carpentry, helping people, or whatever it is? I suppose they've got to just keep trying things, have they? Yeah, until they get the feeling.
SPEAKER_00I definitely think there's a lot of self-reflection involved, a lot of journaling. I did like a lot of kind of like So what is journaling if someone's gonna ask in a simple way.
SPEAKER_03Say you're telling a five-year-old, what is journaling?
SPEAKER_00You get your pen and your paper and you sit with yourself quietly, solitude, and you write what comes to you, you write your feelings down, you write anything down, it doesn't no judgment. Um, and you just see what you feel about the things you're writing, and you go even deeper in it, and you just keep going until you feel some sort of release, or you get maybe some sort of light bulb moment comes through, or you relate to it in kind of a deeper way, like you'll see layers coming through in your journaling. And I think you have to do that. It's necessary. Solitude and journaling are two amazing ways to start connecting with who you truly are beneath all the layers. Also looking or thinking about who you were as a kid, because I have an amazing memory of being a kid and loving writing. Like at three years old, I would just be squiggling in formation. I mean, it's I don't even know how I could do that at three years old, but I remember my mum saying the nursery nursery teacher was so impressed because I was just formating squiggles. And then at school when I was seven, I loved to write like stories. I'd get feedback on oh, she's so creative, like so many things, like introducing new characters on every page. So I look back at that and I'm like, okay, that's my passion. I I can write, I can communicate. It's a gift I have. So it's like reconnecting with a younger version of you and thinking, okay, what did they love then? What did they dream of doing then? Because at that age, you're not conditioned yet. There's nothing necessarily beaten out of you yet. Nobody's coming and saying you just need to get a nine to five and shut up. You know, when you're little, you have all this potential and you know it. It's just the systems that well.
SPEAKER_03I hope it's triggered somebody that they're watching this because that triggered me because I thought, oh my god, I used to do that when I was little. And it makes you think back, doesn't it? And that's because if we can stay that stay in that childlike state, that's amazing, isn't it? It's a great state to be in.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, at the end of the day, joy and creativity, you can never get enough of being a child and like no fear. Yeah, you're you've no fear as a kid. Like, I think if anything, I need to tap into that more at the minute, like the childlike, just playfulness, right? Like, that's arguably one of the most spiritual things you can do, like just be more playful, have more fun.
SPEAKER_03Have you written any short stories or um or film plays or screenplays or anything like that? Because you did the passion come across you when you were talking about the characters and things there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I do, I like writing, but I'm not forming like what I'm writing at the minute is kind of like shorter stuff. Um, I do a lot I write on Substack. Um, I have yeah, a lot of ideas for what I want to write.
SPEAKER_02Why is Substack? I don't have it actually.
SPEAKER_00It's like a blogging platform, really. It's more independent because I know a lot of people are kind of veering away from traditional news because you can't necessarily verify it. Whereas Substack is more you blog and you write and you post and you follow who you like to listen to or like to hear from.
SPEAKER_03Is it is it popular?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's pretty big now. You get a lot of things.
SPEAKER_03How many views or likes or whatever do you get? How does it work?
SPEAKER_00Um, you get people can like, people can comment, people can repost your stuff. It's also acts in some ways a bit like Twitter, like you can do like um little tweet posts, I guess. I don't know what they're called.
SPEAKER_03Oh, look at that.
SPEAKER_00Um yeah, and then you do like long form content and post it like it's like a blog.
SPEAKER_03But there's so much AI on there though, isn't there?
SPEAKER_00No, not that I'm aware of that.
SPEAKER_03You wouldn't know, would you? Because you can say to Chat GPT, do me a long form post. Oh, I see what you mean. And then copy paste it straight into substrats.
SPEAKER_00I see what you mean, yeah. So in that case- How would you know? Yeah, so in that case, perhaps, but I mean AI, let's be honest, we can all spot it from a mile off now. Because even when I'm writing captions for my posts now, I'm like, I if I use AI, I have to say to it, I want to keep my authentic voice. Like, authenticity is what resonates with people, and the more we use AI, the less we're gonna resonate with people. So we're already seeing people spotting AI from a mile off, and it's only gonna get more obvious. So, yeah, it'll probably there probably be some AI on Substack, but I don't think So you use AI, you use it. I have, yeah, of course. Like, I think I'd be I'd be obviously lying if I said I'd never used AI. But I don't I don't use it when I'm writing from a place of obviously my higher self. Like, of course not, because when I'm in that state, I'm in flow state, and so that's my higher self just coming through, like divine or source or whatever we want to call it. It's just like channeled through me, isn't it?
SPEAKER_03So it's having patience with that with with journal. I've never done journey, but it'd be similar to meditation or anything else. Yeah, you start and you're like, nothing's happening, but you just persevere, be a bit patient, and then something starts coming, doesn't it? Like you say, from from source.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, first thing in the morning. I did it this morning, it was like the best thing. So I was up early.
SPEAKER_03And would you share what you wrote or not?
SPEAKER_00Uh I haven't got it with me, otherwise I would. I'm trying to think of bits that I wrote down. A lot of it was just like inspiring things that I want to talk about. Like some of the stuff we probably already touched on came up, like things that I know are part of who I am or part of what I'm here to express. Like, um, I can't think of anything like specific, but um, it's because I've woken up and I've not looked at my phone. So I've immediately just like opened my notepad and I've just written and I've not overthought it. It's just coming through me.
SPEAKER_02Which is why it's hard to remember.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because it's not like I'm not consciously writing it. I'm not choosing these words. It's just like they're coming to me and they're flowing through me. And my hand starts hurting because it's so it's such a flow state that it's like you can't stop me. So my hand is aching, like, ah, I've got so much to say, like get it out onto the paper. Crazy.
SPEAKER_03Well, this is going about the spirit guide thing. We're gonna get into astrology in a minute. Yeah, yeah. So much to I know, going to the spirit guide thing. Yeah. So, how do you know it is a spirit guide? Is there a name for the spirit guide? Is it uh is there a form to it? Just talk about spirit guides for a minute before we go to astrology.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so this is something I'm also learning still, like currently, um, with my coach, and I've started connecting with my guides more. And yes, there are names, and I think everyone has guides, like no matter who you are, everybody has spirit guides. But for me, what when I knew it was my spirit guide is because a few months ago, as I say, in meditation, I don't always have racing thoughts. So often I'm quite clear, I'll close my eyes, and then thoughts will pop into my head, but they won't just be thoughts, they might be in my voice because it's my head, but they'll be out of nowhere and they'll be random. So I know that they're not me, if we can say it like that. And I remember connecting-cause it's energetic. Yeah, it's like where did I come from? Like, what is that? And why have I just why has that popped into my head? And I connected with them. This was a few months ago, and I'd asked specifically like for a name, and I got the name Brad, right? I don't know anyone called Brad. I mean, I did it at school, but I don't know anyone called Brad. So I was like, that's really weird. And I again I kind of pushed it to a side because I was like, Where's Brad come from? Like, what is this? And obviously, life gets me.
SPEAKER_03Because I wonder that isn't just a thought, or yeah, it's like, why have I connected with this?
SPEAKER_00And then a few months down the line, and only a couple of weeks ago now, I went back to my coach who said, I really want to do more spiritual development in terms of psychic development and like connecting with my guides. And we did an exercise, and I said to her, I knew there was a name that came to me a few months ago, but I couldn't remember this name. And we went straight into meditation, and the name that popped up was Brad. And I was like, There it is.
SPEAKER_01No way.
SPEAKER_00Brad is that is the name I was given months earlier that I knew was so random at the time, and I couldn't figure out like where's that come from and why. And then it transpires it is one of my guides. You have to have patience with this though, because there's so much doubt involved, right? Like you have to trust that what you're getting is for a reason. I obviously don't know a Brad, I never have. There's no one in my family called that. But the more you delve in, you have to trust the insight you're getting. If you're asking a question of, okay, Brad, what are you here to help me with? And I'm pretty sure he said, like, um, love and acceptance or something like that. So you have guides for me. So you have guides for different things. For me, that's what he said. I think I had another guide, again, a random name like Leroy came up. And it was like, okay, what is Leroy here to help me with? And you have people that just pop into your mind that are there to support you from another realm. Obviously, we can't see it, but again, back to that thing of like, if you can't see it, it's not real. It's a load of things.
SPEAKER_03That's why there's always that battle between, like, say, hardcore science psychologists, and they'll say, Oh, it's the chemical in the brains doing this, and she must have seen a film with Brad Pitton, and that'll just come back.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03And it's so hard for either party to prove, isn't it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it is.
SPEAKER_03And that's why it's all about the feeling and the gut and the yeah, you just know.
SPEAKER_00You have to trust. There's so much trust involved. Like, I could easily just be like, Oh, God, what's this Brad name? What's this Leroy name? Like, who are these people and why are they here? And is it just, am I going insane? Do I have a mental health problem? You know, people will think like that. That's why it gets dangerous with the spiritual stuff, because if you're not getting the right support, you could really think you're going insane because other people will think you're going crazy. So you're going to reinforce that belief. Um, but the more you trust that, okay, this insight isn't random, this name is random, but that's why it's so legitimate, because there's no way that I knew anyone called that, or why would that just appear in my mind? And then again, and then again months later, when I'm thinking, oh, I knew there was a name, but I can't remember what that name was. Um, so connecting with them is just something I'm like still practicing, it's still a journey, seeing what more can come through from it, and just like letting my mind be clear, asking them what guidance they have for me. You know, I'll sit in meditation, my mind might go empty for a moment, and I'll just set the intention of, okay, what do my guides want me to hear today, or what are you can you help me with today? And then something will come in, and I'll be like, okay, yeah, that resonates. I'm gonna write that down, or I'm gonna action that today, or you know, and you can use this. I mean, I use it with clients now when I'm doing my astrology, right? As long as I have their permission, obviously. I'll go to my guides and I'll say, okay, what does Amy need to hear? Or do you do that with me? What guides? I actually didn't do it with you because I've only just started. I know. But I feel like in some ways I didn't need to because I feel like you're like, You've got it spot on. Yeah. And I also feel like we probably have more of a psychic connection than we maybe think because of how we've kind of read each other so quickly, right? But now when I'm working with clients, I'll always, as I say, with their permission, I will ask my guides, okay, what does this person need to hear? What guidance do they need? Um, yeah, just kind of see what comes through. And I have actually done it quite significantly. I'm not going to talk about it because it's more personal, but for a a client recently who was like, you know, that's amazing, like it's so spot on, where you just think, ah, like, how does this, how is this possible?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's that childlike wonder. Like, wow, isn't that amazing?
SPEAKER_00How did how could I have known that? I mean, I literally, we earlier on when I said to you, I think I can give a guess at something, and it's just because we feel these things. Like, I don't know how it works.
SPEAKER_03It was amazing what you did. I'm not going to talk about it. It was personal, but wow, it was good.
SPEAKER_00I wish I had the answers, but I think a lot of it is like, okay, what you feel is so real, even though you can't physically see it in a world where we're told, okay, only if you can see it, is it real? But also like trust.
SPEAKER_03I was just about to say that. The more trust you have, it then compounds, doesn't it? Trust.
SPEAKER_00You have to trust.
SPEAKER_03But that's gonna that flows nicely because I wanted to then astrology. Yeah. Okay. Let's cap that from now. We can go back to these things, but astrology.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I love astrology. I I love astrology. So for people, um, again, like we're talking not in a condescending way, but for people who've just got no interest or knowledge about astrology. So the earliest I can ever think back to astrology, which is what some people might see now, is in the newspaper.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Same with Pisces or reading about Pisces. Yeah. Obviously, now my knowledge of astrology is not on your level, but I've got a good knowledge of astrology with rising signs and um so an astrology uh dates back as far as you can look. And then there's a famous quote. I've said this a couple of times, a couple of podcasts from JP Morgan, isn't there? Millionaires don't follow astrology, billionaires do, which I think is a great quote.
SPEAKER_00Oh, you'll be surprised how many corporations use it. They'll never tell you. But they'll be so.
SPEAKER_03I heard Coca-Cola do, and the child, yeah. So, but anyway, you so explain briefly uh astrology, where its origins, and how you first found astrology. Just three little questions.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, another long story, really, but I'll cut it as much as I can. Well, okay.
SPEAKER_02Take your time.
SPEAKER_00Another case. Yeah, so it came to me when um through my awakening journey, it was like maybe three months after my meditation moment where I was like, wow, I've just seen my third eye. It came to me then as like something I'd always been a little bit interested in, but I downloaded like the apps. There's quite a few little apps you can look at, and I didn't really understand it, it looked like complicated. Um, and then as I started to read into it more and after I kind of gone through my awakening, I started to realise like, wow, this is layered, really complex, but also coming to me really easily, and I can understand it. And I didn't really again compute how I could understand it and how I could read it, but I resonated with it so deeply, and all of the details were just like, oh yeah, that makes sense. I know why that's there, I know where there's the houses and the signs, and all of it was just like bam, bam, bam. So that was when I kind of knew, okay, that's maybe a bit unusual because when I spoke to people about it back then, I realized that I would lose them quite quickly because they'd be like, I don't understand, like it's too much to this. Um, what was the next question you asked me?
SPEAKER_03Well, that's so yeah, so that was your discovering astrology. Um so what is astrology? Is it a very brief one? That is I know it's a really deep question. Just do it and again, is if that you talk to a five-year-old, I suppose. What is astrology on a very basic level?
SPEAKER_00Astrology is a brief, well, astrology is a snapshot, your birth chart is a snapshot of the um your birth chart is a snapshot of the sky when you were born, right? So where all the planets were and everything like that is is a snapshot of who you are and how you came into this world at that moment you did. Astrology itself is ancient wisdom from thousands of years ago. I don't think uh we really have records of how it came to be. Um it's been used for so so long, but then as you say, as as time's gone on, it's been digested down into these tiny little horoscopes because people can't understand the layers in small formats, but we need to everything has to be digestible, right? Everything has to be like short. So they've kind of taken that wisdom, distilled it down, um, and kind of not done it justice in that sense. But it's ancient, ancient wisdom. It's it's really old.
SPEAKER_03And there's what I've I I'm I'm guilty of doing it. There's loads of uh astrologers, so and and they they really do clickbait you. Yeah, and it's like this like one disaster every week. I've had to stop watching them. Yeah. Watch out this week, areas in Mars. I think that's when we're doing this areas in Mars. Astrologers have never seen the planets like this. Some of the bigs come in, some of this come in, and there's very they can be very clickbait, clickbaity with it, which is unfortunate because and and what I always confuse me with astrology is is that like how they can generalize. Oh, if you're a Pisces this month, it's gonna be amazing for you. It was like, well, how yeah, and that and that that bugs me a little bit when they do that because that can't be true, can it? Not every Pisces then is gonna have a load of money coming this month and or whatever.
SPEAKER_00So, you know, that's it I've never resonated with that way of being an astrologer, and I think that's what I've grappled with. Yeah, I've grappled with it a bit over the last few months, actually, of like, okay, I've have a gift for this and I really want to use it to help people, but I don't want to be somebody who just posts the forecast of the energy every week, like, oh, we've got Mars in Aries, and you know, it doesn't align with me, it doesn't feel right to me. I want to go deeper than that, and I don't want to overcomplicate it because I think if people don't have a base knowledge of astrology and they see a post online that says, Oh, Mars is now in Aries, and da da da, they're gonna be lost immediately. Like, what does that mean for me? People want to know what it means for them, and yes, it's hard because as an astrologer, you can't tell everybody on the online like exactly what it means for them. Which is why they do that then.
SPEAKER_03They do a general energy, do they?
SPEAKER_00And they do a general energy of the moment because is that a true thing?
SPEAKER_03Yes. So they're saying Aries is in Mars, which is that is that right?
SPEAKER_00Mars is in Aries. Sorry, that's right. Well, because the zodiac signs, they the planets move through the zodiac signs, right? So Mars is moving in the sky at a similar rate-ish to the sun.
SPEAKER_03So it's going to be very aggressive, this Mars in Aries time, is it?
SPEAKER_00Mars as a as an energy is more aggressive, like it's more. Action orientated. It doesn't have to be like negative. Yeah, it doesn't have to be negative. It's how you channel it. With any feeling, it's how you channel it, right? Like you might be feeling frustrated, but if you channel it into something amazing, what's the problem? Um, but yeah, they do these forecasts because it's like the broadest way to kind of like give people an overview of the energy that's that's coming around, and then people will resonate with certain parts of it, or maybe they won't. But for me, it didn't feel right because it's like too broad, too pie in the sky. If you're an average human being or just like, you know, somebody who doesn't have a normal knowledge of any astrology, you're not going to understand that, and you are gonna think it's a load of rubbish naturally, because you're like, what does that mean? So for me, I was like, I really want to bring it down into like groundedness, okay. If your chart, everyone's got a unique individual birth chart, and if your and your rising sign is one of the most important parts of it, because that's actually how they write the horoscopes.
SPEAKER_03But if the What do you mean, go and say that again?
SPEAKER_00Because if you look at the horoscopes in the magazines, people will read it for the sign they're born under, like, okay, you're born in early August, you're a Leo, you're born in uh March, you're a Pisces, but they're not written to be read for your sun sign, they're actually written to be read for your rising sign. And your rising sign is true, I don't know. Yeah, and your rising sign is at the time you were born, it's where the sun is rising on the horizon. So if you were born, if I was born an hour later than I was, then I would maybe not be the same rising sign because the sun is or the rising is moving through the sky, right? The ascendant. Um, so they're written to be read by that, which would make them a bit more accurate, but people don't know this, so you're reading them wrong anyway. But again, because we have to distill this wisdom down, we need to make it like digestible and accessible for people. But in in the way we make it digestible and accessible, we lose a lot of people along the way, and there's so many people going, well, that's nonsense. And I get it, of course it sounds like nonsense because there's no like there's like two sentences there. Um, so what I really wanted to do with it was be like, okay, how can I help people access their unique birth chart? Because everyone's is so unique in a way that they can see their own potential through it. Because that's how it's helped me. Like, I've looked at my chart and I've been like, whoa, I really resonate with that placement. How can I tap into that energy more? Because I'm holding a particular energy, as are you, as is everybody, holding certain codes that are there waiting to be accessed, waiting to be utilized and like made kind of bigger so that we can express ourselves more fully and like be the best version of ourselves.
SPEAKER_03That goes right back to someone we were talking about before about people not knowing if they don't know what the purpose is, yeah. The answer may be in the birth chart.
SPEAKER_00100%. I found mine through my birth chart. Like I've looked at it, I'm like, okay, I have a Mercury in Leo. Leo is like the line of the zodiac, it's it's brave and it's courageous and it's loud. And Mercury is the planet of how you communicate. And I feel like when I communicate, if I'm passionate about something, you'll know about it. Like it's loud, it's passionate. My opinions can be a bit triggering to some people. I think they're meant to be because that's kind of the energy I hold when I communicate, whether it's writing, whether it's speaking. Um, so I know that everybody's birth chart holds keys to who they truly are. And it's just about navigating the chart, and that's obviously where I can help people to see what's in there, how what do they resonate with, which placements are speaking to them. Um, I mean, there's so much more than that. Astrology is so layered.
SPEAKER_03Like you can Is it true that countries have their own astrology? Yeah, astrologic thing.
SPEAKER_00Astrocartography. So different energies are activated in different parts of the world. I don't do astrocartography at the moment, but like for instance, Bali or anywhere on the ley lines in the world, there's really quite big energy portals. A bit like Stonehenge and um, you know, the iconic kind of places where there seem to be some sort of heightened energy, like there is that, and you can you can read astrocartography uh graphs and maps that basically tell you, okay, for a per from a personalised level, I could look at your astrocartography and say, Okay, these are the better places for you to activate certain energies that you carry. Again, I don't practice that as much at the moment, but it is possible, and people do do it, and it's kind of cool.
SPEAKER_03And um, I was gonna ask you then about this. Um the what I'm seeing a lot at the moment is there's there is apparently in this time now, when we're around the time of doing this podcast, all these star all these planets or something are they've never seen before or something. Explain what's happening now.
SPEAKER_00Um there is just a lot of outer planets moving at the moment. So when I said earlier that the inner planets like Mars, Mercury, Venus, they move quite closely with the sun. So when it's March and it's Pisces season, there'll be a lot of energy in Pisces. But the outer planets, they move quite slowly. So, like Pluto, I think it only changes signs like every 20 odd years. Saturn only changes signs every three years, Uranus only changes signs um every seven years. So you've got a lot of these outer planets that move much more slowly moving into a new sign, which is hugely significant because it's like a massive shift in the undercurrent energy, shall we say?
SPEAKER_03Of humanity.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like they're more generational planets. So for me, I have Pluto in Scorpio. Everyone born between a lot of millennials will have that placement, Pluto and Scorpio.
SPEAKER_03What does that mean to have that placement?
SPEAKER_00Um, Pluto is like a transformative energy. I mean, it's a sign that resonates quite closely with Scorpio, to be honest, because Scorpio is a transformative kind of deep energy. It depends where it sits in your chart. I mean, for me, it's in my, funnily enough, the house of communication. So perhaps that's why I feel called to speak and help people and transform things through the way I communicate, right? Somebody might have it in a different house, it might be their relationship house. They're here to transform through relationships or they're here to transform other people's relationships, you know. It really depends where it sits in your chart. But the outer planets moving in the sky is significant just for humanity because it's a big shift in, like I say, the undercurrent energy that we're all experiencing, whether we're conscious of it happening or not, energy is moving all the time and it's affecting us and affecting our life paths all the time.
SPEAKER_03Do you think the do you think governments look at what's going on?
SPEAKER_00I'd I'd really love to know, and I think pay perhaps they do.
SPEAKER_03I saw one month where that oh, that war was started on that day, and that matches that astrology, you know, and that matches, and it seems to match.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I did see that.
SPEAKER_03You can't ignore that, can you? That's what they're saying.
SPEAKER_00Well, it's funny because is that the energy at work or is that the people planning it around them with the energy? Yeah, like if you look, I listen to some crazy podcasts when you look back in history and they go through like, okay, the timings of civil wars and that's what I was getting at because apparently the planets now match civil war in America, don't they, or something? Yeah, there's a couple of things with America because a lot of Aries energy, Aries is the planet typically of war. It sounds bad, but it's initi it's initiator initiatory energy and it's like the independent kind of like fighter archetype. So a lot of planets in Aries does signal potential war. It doesn't have to be, but it can be one way it can manifest. But with the United States as well, they have um their birth chart, shall we say, because every country has a birth chart, same as every business has a birth chart of when it was kind of founded or born. Uh, they have Uranus in Gemini and Uranus in the sky in about two and a half weeks' time is about to move back into Gemini. So that's significant for them as a country because having your birth chart or your country chart with that placement and then having it come back round, and it only would come back round every 80-something years, is just signalling like a big turning point for that country, right?
SPEAKER_03So that that's like a is that a live prediction we're doing.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I can't say exactly how that will play out. Yeah, but that's just that's just it's true. Like the United States is going for it, we all can see with the war with Iran. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So in two weeks' time.
SPEAKER_00Two and a half weeks' time, Uranus will f officially move into Gemini.
SPEAKER_03Which is part of the United States.
SPEAKER_00It's in the United States' birth chart, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Right. So what could what could that mean for the United States then?
SPEAKER_00I mean, in the past it's been when civil wars happened, right? Like they've looked at the alignment in the sky and they've been like, okay, this is.
SPEAKER_03Well, that bit I've seen is in two weeks it's happening, two and a half weeks.
SPEAKER_00It happened 80, I think it's 87 years ago, or something like that, was the last time Uranus was in Gemini. And again, like I can't remember all the details, but there were some significant happenings for the United States in terms of wars and changes and whatever, civil war, I think it was. So it's not that they're saying, okay, in two and a half weeks' time, bam, there's going to be a big, you know, turning point, breaking point, whatever. But it is to say that while that placement is active, that energy is there's something bubbling, something changing. Uranus energy is.
SPEAKER_03It could be riots in the street.
SPEAKER_00It could be anything. Uranus energy is disruptive. It's normally liberating. So it feels maybe quite shocking or, you know, but it's normally for a liberation purpose. Like Uranus kind of swoops in, does its thing, and then it's like liberating. But it also it again, it's it moves in the sky every seven years. So it might be in Gemini from the 25th of August, um, 25th of April, but it's going to stay in Gemini for seven years. So it's not to say that on the 25th of April there's going to be some shocking Uranus-related incident. It doesn't really work like that. This is why predictive astrology gets difficult because not only is it how it impacts the person's birth chart or the country's birth chart, it's like anything could happen at any point, really, in that period. Or when that when that planet connects with another planet, like it's it's going into Gemini, so then eventually it'll move into the next sign and it will touch on a different planet, or it might make an aspect to another planet. It's like volatile kind of energies coming together in that way. So it's so layered, like I say, there's so much to it. It's really complex, and that's why I feel so strongly that I want to bring it more down to reality. Like people don't really need to be getting into this detail.
SPEAKER_03They yeah, you're there just to interpret and say that person. So, like this podcast for me is like a sounding board and a ground level to create self-awareness in the the public, for example. Yeah, yours is astrology, isn't it? Because you're obviously you're it's deep, you're deeper than astrology, clearly, with all the other things we just spoke about. But astrology is your base point, isn't it? Then I suppose to work from your platform.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_03And then obviously there's layers, depending on who you're talking to, to how deep it can go.
SPEAKER_00I would call it a tool for me. A tool. That's not true.
SPEAKER_03A tool. That was a simpler way of putting it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but it's what it is. Like for me, that's the tool I use to, as you say, help people with their own awareness and to recognise their own gifts. I'm I'm lucky in many ways. It's an incredibly layered tool. There's so much to get from astrology. Um, you're reflecting people's potential back at them. You're, you know, they take what resonates from the information I give them. It is fascinating the things that astrology, like you say, can align with in history and can people can just see the impact of it. It's like when the eclipses happen. Like, I have never had a client say to me, if I've said, Oh, the you've got the eclipses happening in these areas of your life at the moment, every time I say it, they're always like, Oh yeah, like those areas of my life really have been impacted at the moment.
SPEAKER_03It's it can't be ignored, can it? It can't be ignored if it's always that accurate every time.
SPEAKER_00It's yeah, it's crazy.
SPEAKER_03And then I I spoke to a policeman once and he's he was saying the statistics around crime on the f on a full moon. It's massive, yeah. Did you know that?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Because it ambulances, hospitals.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, why are they always busy on a full moon? You can't ignore these things.
SPEAKER_00You can't ignore these things. How does someone but you can if you don't if you don't want to go into them, but if you do, like you and I.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but even somebody who's like doesn't want to, you know, like they say the psychic we're on about the psychologists earlier, they can't match with spirituality sometimes. Oh, it's just chemicals in your brain. Yeah. How would they explain those statistics?
SPEAKER_00I mean, it's like when they say the moon affects the tide, and then because I have experienced that personally when we're last year, like we were on a boat, and then we had to actually get off and walk to the shore because the the new moon was impacting the site the tide so badly. And then people say, Well, we're 90% water as human beings. So are we that egotistical that we think the moon couldn't impact who we are as well?
SPEAKER_03Oh, I love that. I forgot about that. I forgot about that. The gravitational pull on the water, and then yeah, like you say, I forgot all about that. I remember hearing about that. Yeah, it's where 70-80% water. So, how can it not impact us?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, how do we there's the shift happening, there's an energy moving through us. Um, the full moon, well, eclipses in particular, they're fated turning points. So this they should be paid attention to. People should know when the eclipses are because when there's an eclipse happening and you post it to let people know when you're I I will I do post them. I don't always because post, let me know.
SPEAKER_03I want to know.
SPEAKER_00I want to look at Rachel and see that I do post them, but um yeah, going through like the motions of how I execute things. Um eclipses, to be honest, I do because they're more significant. Every full moon, I try and put something on.
SPEAKER_03So why is an eclipse how many eclipses are there a year?
SPEAKER_00There's normally like four.
SPEAKER_03When's the next one? You know?
SPEAKER_00Uh August. The I can't remember off the top of my head, but it's not. And why are they powerful?
SPEAKER_03And what's what's powerful about the August one?
SPEAKER_00They're fated turning points, right?
SPEAKER_03Four for humanity individuals.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, collectively and individually. So collectively, you're looking more at the sign they fall in, the ones that are about to start, or we're just finishing up the Pisces and Virgo eclipse series because this the signs always have an opposite, and Pisces and Virgo are opposite, Leo and Aquarius are opposite. We're about to enter the Leo and Aquarius ones in August. They're significant collectively because then you look at okay, Leo as an archetype and Aquarius as an archetype. What are those things signalling towards? What are we going to be moving toward? Aquarius, for instance, where the north node is, because that's where the eclipses impact. Aquarius is uh individualistic, it's authentic, it's for humanitarianism, it likes community. And we're moving more towards that. Like people to just embrace their truest, most authentic self is really going to come up more over the next couple of years. Leo, where the South Node is, which is normally the release point, I mean, you look at this, the archetype of Leo and you think, okay, in its best expression, it's bold, it's vibrant, it's, you know, it wants to be seen. But in its lower expression, Leo can be quite arrogant. It can be, you know, a little bit bulgy, people can kind of think, oh, you're a bit showy. So we're kind of letting go of the performance, let's say, over the next couple of years with these eclipses. It's like Leo, Leo energy is asking you, or the South Node where the eclipse is happening, is asking you to let go of the mask, to let go of the performative like arrogance and to lean more into the Aquarius, individuality, authenticity, humanitarianism. So collectively we'll feel that, but on an individual level, eclipses are fated turning points. So if you look at your own chart and you say, okay, where does Aquarius and Leo sit in my chart? Then you can say, okay, these areas of your life are going to experience fated turning points. You still have full control, everyone has free will, but there will be moments or turning points that happen in those areas of your life over the course of those eclipses. It's absolutely guaranteed.
SPEAKER_03What opportunities or both, yeah. They're all opportunities, I suppose. Yeah, if you look at them that way.
SPEAKER_00It's energy at the end of the day, nothing is, you know, we're there to work with the energy.
SPEAKER_02Have you looked at yours?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I always so what in terms of where the eclipses are. So at the moment I'm in, if we're f finishing up the Virgo and Pisces eclipse cycle, it's in my first and seventh house. So massive shifts in identity and how I relate to other people. I mean, so yes, but on obviously, like I've been through so much of an identity shift in the last two years I can't even compute. Um, and then Leo and Aquarius, one is in my spiritual house and the other is in a work-related house. So over the next couple of years, massive changes for me with work and how I show up, and um it's in Aquarius, so how authentically I show up at work, and then the 12th house is spirituality, and that's going to maybe get a bit louder for me, and I'm tuning in more to my spirit guides. You know, there's so many themes I can say are resonant.
SPEAKER_03So it lasts for two years.
SPEAKER_00Um, the energy itself after the eclipse takes place lasts up to six months, but the the series of eclipses will last around 18 months to two years. So, like when I say we're just finishing up the Virgo Pisces series, that's because we've had already, I think, five eclipses in those signs. And then we have one more, and then we shift fully into like Leo and Aquarius. It's complicated. People don't really need to know like the full detail, but to look at the houses of their chart where the eclipses are taking place is so pivotal and so key. You'll get so much information about what could come up. I mean, I don't like predicting real-world events or like this is gonna happen to you because it's not really like that.
SPEAKER_03It's theme and energy-based.
SPEAKER_00Knowing that, yeah, those themes are gonna be impacted, they're gonna come up for you. It's like with me when I left my job, something was already bubbling emotionally and energetically within me of like, oh, I think I need to leave this job, like I'm getting restless, like I don't feel any purpose, I really want more meaning in my life. And then eclipses started taking place in my work-related houses.
SPEAKER_03Was you into astrology at the time? Was it the word? No.
SPEAKER_00When I quit my job, I didn't know. Um, no, I when I quit my job, I did. But when I um started feeling restless, I didn't. So it was like a year later when I quit, when I was like, okay, now I have a feeling, but I didn't know it as well as I do right now. So the level of knowledge wasn't quite on point.
SPEAKER_03So do you plan things around astrology yourself? Um sometimes today's the 8th of April, I suppose recorded. Um so obviously, this was the date that I that we agreed that I had free and to come down and whatever.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So do you then did you then go straight to right, what's happening on that day astrology?
SPEAKER_00Or I'll tell you why I did on this occasion, because when you told me you had a couple of dates free or whatever, and I knew that it was pushing me out of my comfort zone as an opportunity because I immediately felt like scared and excited at the same time, and I think that's how you know that something is pushing you forward. I weirdly just went to the 8th of April. So then I look thought to myself, why have I picked the eighth? I could have picked the second, picked the eighth. And then I looked at the astrology and I was like, oh, the moon is in Sagittarius that day. Perfect. Because Sagittarius is the wisdom seeker of the zodiac, like the moon is so important as the conversations we're having, and having it in a wisdom-seeking sign is perfect.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so you didn't check it pre-hand.
SPEAKER_00No, your something told you that was the day you wanted, and then when you like I always think like things happen for a reason, and then I'll look back at the workshops I've run on astrology, and I'll like, oh, I ran that workshop, or I'm running that workshop on a day when the moon is in my career house. What are the chances? Like things align so spookily, as you said earlier, it's hard to ignore sometimes because you're like, How is that possible? I didn't pre-plan that. I mean, some people do. I know astrologers who like look at their week and they'll look at the movements and they'll go, okay, these are the right days or the best days for me to do this particular work, whether it's communication work or whether it's finance work or admin tasks, because of where the moon sits in reflection to their own chart, it'll help them get a picture of the energies they'll be feeling. Great to do if you want to do it. I don't do it that much, maybe I'll do it more in the future. But yeah, like getting a picture of what's going on and then like seeing how things align without you even consciously trying to make things align is wild.
SPEAKER_03It's crazy, isn't it?
SPEAKER_00It is.
SPEAKER_03And um I was gonna say to you, can we do a if I show you my birth chart? Can you look at look at mine live for everybody to look at for August?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I can. Oh, you mean your transit chart? No, no, they they know what it means for you in the eclipses.
SPEAKER_03Uh and then people can always come back and go, oh yeah. So have a look. Um where is it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think I did it, there it is.
SPEAKER_03I think I did it. So everyone can see that as well.
SPEAKER_00Just showing your soul to the internet. Yeah. Um see where Leo and Aquarius are in your chart.
SPEAKER_03So obviously, I'm not trying to get a blag of free reading off you. Just a quick, just a quick just so we can we can look back on this podcast and it'd be interesting.
SPEAKER_00So funny that I said earlier that I'm just finishing up my first and seventh house eclipses, right? How I present my identity, how I relate to other people in all ways, like business opportunities, friendships, platonic, flail. You're gonna you're about to enter that cycle because your rising sign is Aquarius and your seventh house, which is other people and relationships, is Leo. So from August, you're entering the cycle that I'm finishing. Does that make sense? So it doesn't mean that everything I've been through you're gonna go through. No, but themes of identity shifts, um, showing up more authentically, um, relating to people, opportunities through other people, um, potentially losing friendships, or I know I've been through like shedding, you know, there's people kind of drop that have dropped out of my life, then there's people coming in that are like really aligned with the new version that I'm becoming, you know. All of these things will start taking place with those eclipses because that is how it's impacting you personally.
SPEAKER_03Um I've got a roller coaster coming up, have I?
SPEAKER_00They're they're first and seventh house eclipses, they're always gonna be big because it's it's you, your identity is who you are, right? So, like, I'm not saying any other eclipses aren't big, they're all big in their own way. But when something's impacting your identity, like, God's that's huge. Like you could see shifts in who you how you work, how you show up, like so much encompasses who you are.
SPEAKER_03Like you said about energy. Like, I look at that, how you look at it is a reflection of who you are. Yeah, so if I look at that as an exciting thing, oh it's a da-da-da, because it could be, oh, the I've never done acting before in my life, but did a quick film with Richie, sorry, didn't you? So, oh my god, look, these acting things happened over there, and that could be that's an identity-based thing, isn't it? Or it's this, or you just don't know what was gonna happen. It's it doesn't have to always be negative, is the point. No, in fact, if you look at it, any everything's positive because it's meant to be infated, like you say.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and anything that's that's not so pleasant is a lesson as long as we choose to see it that way. Like difficult times is a lesson of growth, and I truly believe that's how the spiritual world works. It's like we're not sent here to work an eye and survive all our lives and then die. We're sent here to learn things, to grow, to push ourselves out of our comfort zone, um, to face the fear that we feel, to then evolve into a better version of ourselves constantly, like always shedding, like change is the only constant, right?
SPEAKER_03So the people that refuse and hold on too tight and don't want to change and just want to stay in their comfort zone.
SPEAKER_00Well, they can do it, but then the universe, a fated moment, will happen. Something will shake it, you know. I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_03And if they ignore that, they'll just keep getting shook and the lesson keeps coming around, doesn't it?
SPEAKER_00I suppose with energy, like with fated eclipse energy, I always feel like sometimes that's when it's like impossible to ignore. Like when I use the example of me feeling like a bit twitchy about my job and like not really fulfilled and yearning for more meaning, and then an eclipse could come along and go, Here's your redundancy package. You know, like it couldn't be as simple as that. It's exactly what the universe does. It doesn't have to be a redundancy package, but for me, it was just the feelings were so overwhelming that I couldn't possibly ignore them anymore.
SPEAKER_03Because I believe the people that do, who do who do ignore them, it's a little personal theory, really. But then when they hold that inside them and they know it's wrong, that's when illnesses can form because you're just ignoring it and you're harboring it in your body and you're trying to ignore it, you you've you're resisting it too much. Yeah, and then the universe then says, Well, you're not listening. We've sent you these many messages, you're just ignoring them. So here you go, now you're ill.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, 100%.
SPEAKER_03Which I've seen with people and things, and that's just a little personal view. What do you think to that?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because all your energy when you're storing it in your body, there's a great book actually, The Body Keeps the Score.
SPEAKER_02Um I think I've heard of that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so it's how you're storing it in your body, like a certain tension on your neck. I mean, I've definitely had that. And somebody said to me on a spiritual level, like, are you carrying like the world, the weight of the world on your shoulders? I'm like, Yeah, I have tension in my neck, like because I'm not there's something I'm going through emotionally that is really affecting me and I'm not processing it as deeply, or I'm struggling because it's heavy, you know. So we do hold tension in our bodies. Again, it using the word energy sometimes confuses people because they're like, Oh, I can't see it. What does that mean? It's just like tension or like feeling, like things that we feel is just building up inside of us somewhere, congregating in one area, and then before you know it, oh, I've got a neck injury, or I've got an ankle injury, or you know, something we're holding on to can manifest in physical symptoms. It is true, like that does happen. And I don't want to sit here and say that every illness is an energetic problem at the root because I don't know. But a hell of a lot of form like illnesses and injuries are an accumulation of energy we're not processing, there are feelings we're not feeling properly, and they're storing themselves in our physical body.
SPEAKER_03I read once that's when you see like a dog walk off and it does a shake, it's just getting rid of that energy that it's just I love that analogy, yeah. It's great, isn't it? And that's why they do it about it'cause they can they're just shaking off that energy.
SPEAKER_00Our dog does it all the time.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because it's it's absorbed it a little bit, it's shook it off. And like the Chinese, the way they do the the the um what's the thing with the old flow like that?
SPEAKER_00Uh Tai Chi.
SPEAKER_03It's Tai Chi, isn't it? And and then there's the shaking in the morning, and it is just moving your energy about, isn't it?
SPEAKER_00It's so necessary. Like, yeah, the dogs do it automatically, it's built into them, it's nature, like they've just been shouted at for eating the carpet. They'll shake because they're like, okay, that energy isn't serving me, so I'm just gonna shake it off. Like, as human beings, we need to. I mean, I'm not saying we should all be shaking like a dog every two seconds. It'd be great if we were, because we'd all be laughing at each other, but there is ways we should process our energy, and learning more about who we are and our own self-awareness will help us with that because we'll find the mechanisms that work for us. It might not be shaking like a dog, but it might be taking a deep breath, centering yourself for 20 seconds. Yoga meditation. Like there are so many practices now, it's actually like incredible the amount that's come through in recent years.
SPEAKER_03What I love about self-awareness, there's a path for everybody. Oh, so it's just got to start, and then that path will just wherever it'll go, will go.
SPEAKER_00What you resonate with is what takes you. Like for me, it's astrology. For my coach, who she's crystal, she knows everything about crystals. I actually brought one with me today. She literally, I can hold it up to her on camera and go, Emily, what's this? And she's like, Oh, that's this, and that's it's this is what it means. Like, she's followed that because for some reason the wisdom's come to her.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because the crystal's got its own vibration, isn't it? That's right. Because like this with sound, the sound healing, that's a whole different subject. Yeah, because like it starts going back to the water thing. You've seen the experiments where you go, uh like I love you, I love you, I love you, and your rubbish rubbish. Yeah, and that's all down to the vibration and energy, isn't it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_03It's just so amazing that the subject of it all, isn't it?
SPEAKER_00It is, there's so much, and like, yeah, you follow what works for you. I astrology came to me, it was like a download. It was like I had known it all my life. It was like this ancient wisdom is just okay, Rachel, this is your moment. Here's the wisdom, take it and make it your own and be a channel for how this needs to serve others. That's how I see it. But for other people, it might be crystals, it might be Reiki, it might be meditation, it might be yoga. You feel it and you feel that calling and you feel that pull. And again, it's like, okay, I feel joyous about this, I feel passionate about this. You've got to follow those threads. Like everybody is different, but you have to follow what calls you and it might evolve over time.
SPEAKER_03By listening, yeah. Going back to the energy thing and shaking it off like a dog. I saw something the other day that humans are the only ones that like if uh animals' eye leaks, yeah, they've tested the tears in humans and um uh and it's the the it we're actually releasing toxins and cortisol through crying. Yeah, because crying is just energy moving, isn't it? And that's blocked, yeah, blocked emotions and things. And people that try and stop themselves crying are just keeping that there. You've got to move. It's like you say, the constant movement, isn't it? Yeah. The constant evolvement is is like a theme, I suppose, what we've spoken about. Yeah. If you're gonna put like a bit of a theme on it, it's constant evolvement, isn't it? Like when I asked who you are, and humans have to keep moving. Constantly moving physically and everything spiritually, spiritually, shedding, being open.
SPEAKER_00I think I've preached open-mindedness for as long as I can remember. Way before I was spiritually minded, I would preach open-mindedness and I would get triggered by people who weren't open-minded, and it would be like you're in judgment then. Yeah, I guess judgment is a part of it, but also just people who would dismiss things like, oh no, I don't talk to those sort of people, or oh no, I'm not interested in those topics, or oh no, that culture is not for me. Why?
SPEAKER_03Oh, it just isn't, just isn't, and they just start malfunctioning.
SPEAKER_00I mean, we're Sagittarius moon, so I think you and I have that in common. Like, give me information, give me wisdom. Like, I want more knowledge, like it really makes me feel energized to understand.
SPEAKER_03And it keeps your childlike when you when you're seeking knowledge all the time.
SPEAKER_00All the time, but there are people that just close themselves off, whether it's through conditioning, whether it's through fear.
SPEAKER_03And the charts, some people's charts say they're closed-minded.
SPEAKER_00Potentially, I mean, there's there's probably elements of a chart that allude to people being more comfortable in a comfort zone or being more um yeah, rigid in their mindset, or yeah, maybe not just quite as open, but again, everyone's chart is so unique and there's always potential for more. Like, it's a choice at the end of the day. You can be happy in a comfort zone, and I'm not saying people shouldn't have comfort zones, of course. You've earned a comfort zone, but don't bask in it so long that it becomes like you're never growing again because you're just like so happy floating in this same job or this same life that you're then just like becoming stagnant. Again, that's energy. You'll feel it, you'll feel the stagnation, you'll feel like the need for change, and you can ignore it. But eventually it'll either manifest physically or something will come along and the universe will go, You're too comfortable, come on. Like everybody has lessons to learn. We have to constantly be moving through them. Change is like I said earlier, the only constant, isn't it, really?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, um, and do you um what I've what I like to do towards the end, because obviously we've run over, which is obvious I always do, but it's fine. We're gonna probably go for another 15 minutes. Um is um at the end of towards the end, it's not the end end, I like to guess people's astrology sign, just just like a game with different guests, but I kind of know I we've kind of spoken about yours, and so I'm gonna do a different one with you. Is I've before I guess, so don't tell me, do you do you know much about numerology? Have you gone into neurology much?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I have it tattooed on my arm, so I'll just cover my number. No, I'll just cover my arm up.
SPEAKER_03No way, yeah, yeah, yeah. I did not know that.
SPEAKER_00Because we haven't even me and you have not even No, we haven't spoken about neurology at all.
SPEAKER_03Not once, have we? No, no way it's a holy subject we're about to get into, right? Because I got into neurology accidentally.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I had uh Naomi on, who's the owner of Cosmic Rum, which is an astrology-based rum, brown what's the chances. And she mentioned neurology, and I heard about it, but not really. Anyway, I started looking into it, and this guy called Gary33, and and he's like quite a bulgy American who talks about it, and he says, When are you all gonna realise this isn't a coincidence? And stuff like that. That it's this numerology is coded everywhere, yeah. And um, and I looked at it myself, and I'm born on the seventh, so that is a seeker of knowledge, and it's it's these sort of things, and I thought, oh, that resonates, and but my life path is a four, which means everything's it's it's everything I do is done consistent and built properly, if if you know what I mean, and stuff like that, and and it's just it's just really interesting, and it goes hand in hand with the astrology side of things. I just think I just find it a really interesting way to look at a blueprint of a of a person. Um sorry. So I was gonna try and guess you're gonna guess my life pattern. I was gonna try and guess your life path, which I'm not I I'd be more comfortable guessing astrology than I would a numerology because I'm quite new, I'm just looking at it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm I don't know a lot about it either, so No, but it's really interesting, isn't it? I know enough to know what my numbers are, but I don't know, like, yeah, my depth with it is not as much as astrology, obviously.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so I'm gonna guess, first of all, that your birthday is a seven or a twenty-five.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_03Nearly or not?
SPEAKER_00Close.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Because they're the secret of knowledge numbers. I think there's another number, is it 16th? Um, that there's the like the secret of knowledge numbers. So we've just parked that one then. And life path number.
SPEAKER_00I don't really know a lot life about life path numbers, but yeah, I was gonna say if you don't know what they all mean, I'm gonna guess I'm gonna guess one. So interesting. Do you want me to tell you what I am?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, go on.
SPEAKER_00My life path number is eleven.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00One and one.
SPEAKER_03So semi-close. That's a really special number to be an 11.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's a master number.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's really good. A very old soul then, aren't you?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, I don't know, maybe.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, the 11's are a a big one.
SPEAKER_00Eleven, yeah, 11, 22, 33, master numbers.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, master numbers, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um yeah. So that's what you got there. Yeah, I've got eleven eleven um eleven eleven three. I can't read. Um 1113 because I am a life path 11, a personality 11, and a destiny three.
SPEAKER_03No way.
SPEAKER_00Which is three is the creative.
SPEAKER_03Is that the life path number you mean?
SPEAKER_00No, life path 11.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, sorry, we're sorry.
SPEAKER_00So you get to be.
SPEAKER_03No, I want to ask you date of birth, sorry.
SPEAKER_00Ah, sorry, date of birth. Um I'm 26th. You said 25.
SPEAKER_03So you were born on the 26th.
SPEAKER_00I was born on the 26th of August, yeah.
SPEAKER_03No way.
SPEAKER_00So when I then add them up, that would be two and six is eight, right? So it's just so rich. Again, so layered numerology is spelled like astrology in that way. You can literally go down so many like layers of it. I hadn't the reason I know is because I had a numerology reading when I was probably about a year after my awakening. So yeah, in 2024.
SPEAKER_02What did that say?
SPEAKER_00Oh, so much. I have a recording which I have actually listened back to again since it's like 90 minutes long, and she was amazing. And again, a bit like with my clairvoyant experience where somebody gives you so much energizing information, um, confirm confirmation information as well. Like that's what we need, right? If you're about to take a leap in your job, and then somebody, astrologer or numerologist, comes along and goes, You've really got some interesting one astrology going on and two numerology blueprints of energy that you're carrying, it gives you that confirmation, I'm doing the right thing. People just want confirmation what they feel is real and valid. And obviously, we live in a world that tells us not to think about what we feel because it's all like logic-based. So for me, the numerology reading was just so validating because it's like, okay, I'm about to take a huge leap in my life. I'm really feeling the call to something bigger. And yeah, I got that validation. I got that, okay, these are the codes you carry, your life path 11, your you know, this and that. And the explanation she gave were so rich, so detailed, so resonant that it really helped me to be like, okay, I feel something here, even bigger. I know that there's more for me. I know I have potential. I think people just want that conf confirmation, like, okay, there is more that you have to offer than than simply this.
SPEAKER_03But then there's um there's two things I just want to just before I forget them is um this is this is me suffering from not wanting to write anything down and just going with the flow. I've just got two thoughts in my head.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03One is um let's do this one quickly so it's quicker. Is 33 is an important time, isn't it, for people's age in astrology and numerology, isn't it? Becoming 33.
SPEAKER_00Um, I guess yeah, because it's a master number. So I'd say yeah, 11, 22, 33.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because you're coming up to 33, aren't you?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, in August, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and that's meant to be quite a big point. I'm sure it is in astrology. It's astrology or numerology.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so in astrology normally Is it your return or something? The Saturn return is normally around 2930.
SPEAKER_03Right, okay.
SPEAKER_00I mean, that that was significant for me. That's when I had my awakening. I just turned 30 when I had my awakening. So yeah, that Saturn return period is really, yeah.
SPEAKER_03It's not 33, it's 30, I've got it wrong.
SPEAKER_00But in numerology it's 33.
SPEAKER_03It is, isn't it? I thought it was.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, I don't know. Again, I'm not an expert in numerology, but the number, the master numbers are 11, 22, 33. So if you look at that, you'd think, okay, they are in some way quite pivotal points. I mean, um, I mean we'll soon find out. Big year ahead at it. So I don't know what's gonna go on. 33, best year of my life.
SPEAKER_03And the other one I was gonna, the other thought I had was I know quite a few people did a post on it actually in this in this spiritual world. It's funny how we label that, don't we? This spiritual world, like it's a separate thing. But it's not, it is actually the world. Yeah. So forget that.
SPEAKER_00It's like uh just because we can't see it, you know.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so we class it as like this separate special club over here, but it shouldn't be. It is normal. But a lot of people that um think that they're in that world, I suppose a better way to put it sometimes. Um they don't put action behind things I found. You're similar to me, we've got that logic and that uh one foot in the 3D world if you like, plus looking at the completely fully immersed and believe in energies and astrology. So you're quite similar to me in that respect. Um, but a lot of people live in that spiritual world too much, and they don't put action behind it, do they? Yeah, it's always fine, it'll be it'll be just just float, it will just all meant it'll all come to me, it'll all happen. And the uh you know, what's your message to that? Am I right in saying you should take action, or is it what I mean? Or is it action for action's sake? That's the other one I want to just question and just delve into a little bit with you.
SPEAKER_00It's an amazing question because I think it's something that we always have to grapple with, the balance between how inspired we feel and how much and how much we action in the 3D reality. And I have definitely had my moments with this because I am very connected spiritually to my imagination and to inspiration. And I have a lot of dreams and I have a lot of visions, but obviously you don't just sit there and go, I have all these dreams and all these visions. You have to take the action that's aligned with those visions and know that it's because they're planted in your head for a reason. Not everybody has the same imaginations and visions and dreams, so you have to take those actions, and it doesn't mean we have to always be like hustle culture, never take a break. It's so important to take that step back as well because to like tap into flow and ease and creativity, it's like the the yin and the yang thing again, isn't it?
SPEAKER_03It's so different. I've done both because I find it hard because I'm action-oriented to just stop. Yeah, I think it will come if it's meant to come, is the hardest thing, but I've experienced it and it is magical. Yeah, and obviously I've experienced being absolutely 100 million miles per hour action-oriented, and I suppose that's the answer they just gave them was the right answer. It's getting that balance.
SPEAKER_00It is, and I think we all are on that journey of trying to find it. It's a constant battle between okay, how can I tap into my masculine energies of doing and striving and like actioning? And how can I also make sure I have time for rest and creativity and letting my mind kind of wander and going with the flow? And yeah, it's not always easy. I think we all have to work on it consciously.
SPEAKER_03Um it doesn't have to be hard work, that does it. Just just just be aware of it, yeah.
SPEAKER_00It's just conscious work. Everything is just conscious work. Like, okay, I'm having these thoughts. Why am I having them? Like, let's think about them, let's unpack them. Okay, I'm having these inspirations. Maybe I should do some action that's off the back of it. Um, okay, I'm feeling a bit tired. Listen to your body. You've maybe been too much in your masculine. Okay, maybe I need to just have a day off or go with the flow or just turn off my phone for a few hours, you know. Everything is awareness and being aware of how you feel and what you've been doing and what you want to do, and just balancing those things again. It's a constant battle, isn't it? But I think that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, if you look at it as a battle, that's what I'm saying. You said that's a perspective, isn't it? And say, just and if you get that wrong, even oh, I should have listened to my body, I should have rested today. Yeah, then don't beat yourself up. Just be aware, move forward, no next time. And that's the people that miss that bit, don't they? Yeah. They beat yourselves up because you made a mistake or you've tripped up and you've it's fine.
SPEAKER_00There's nothing wrong in it.
SPEAKER_03If anything it was meant to happen.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and if anything, you've you've now become aware that you've done it.
SPEAKER_03So it's amazing.
SPEAKER_00Perfect. So that's that's all what it was.
SPEAKER_03Well, I say to my kids if they make a mistake, I say, if you learn from the mistake, we do it again. No, that's fantastic then.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, great, isn't it?
SPEAKER_03So what are you beating yourself up for? Just carry on.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you've learned that lesson and now you're not going to do it again. That's great. It's like when people go through burnout, which is really common now, and I can't speak to that. I've had burnout, yeah. I can't speak to that with my career because I didn't experience burnout, I just experienced a lack of inspiration and motivation with it in the career I was in. But burnout is another thing, it's like, okay, all of a sudden your body is like, you can't ignore this anymore. Like you need to- Oh, you won't stop. I'll make you stop. Yeah, exactly. So it's exactly the same thing. Like eventually you'll become aware of it. Yes, you'll be thinking, Oh, how did I let myself get to such a state? But then the lesson is, well, now you know, and you won't be doing that again. So something's got to change, and then you grow from it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Um, and and and because I'm running out I'm running out of time. Rich is gonna tell me off again. Um you thought I'd let you off the hook, I haven't forgotten about ayahuasca. Right, so ayahuasca.
SPEAKER_00Um we haven't got time for this, yes. We have.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, well, a little bit, because it was on about messages from the universe. I keep coming across the same message, ayahuasca, ayahuasca, and I can't ignore it anymore. I've not done it. So I've my self-development journey's been massive. Yeah, I've been I've gorged it at times, like gorged it. And that's a personality trait that I've managed to temper a little bit, not massive aggression and going towards it and doing it to death or whatever. Yeah, so I don't do that anymore, but it's part of a self-aware journey. Um, but I can't keep ignoring the message I'm getting about about ayahuasca. Yeah, and and it literally not every guest, but just I just keep hearing it constantly. And I did um one thing I'd never never done before as well was breath work, proper breath work. So it's different to meditation. How yeah, have you done it? Yeah, and it is a Luke who I had on on here, Luke Morton, the breath warrior. Um he did some with me the night before, and he did some before the podcast. Yeah, and and I felt this urge to cry come up. And I've had that before when I've been on retreats or meditation, whatever, and I've just yes I'll just cry. And usually there is a slight attachment and a realisation. I've had one at this one retreat I went to, I cried for 45 minutes straight. I was blubbing when I had this realisation about something. Um, and um, but this one had no attachment, it was weird, it was literally energy, and I goes, yeah, cry if you're in my head. I was like, Yeah, cry if you're gonna cry. It just didn't come up, but I didn't realise the power of breath work. But he he he then from there went, I was talking about ayahuasca. So, and we briefly mentioned it, didn't we? Like I didn't know about the numerology side, but so ayahuasca. Yeah, because I keep hearing about it, I haven't done it, I want to do it. Yeah, you've Would you mind telling us about your experience of ayahuasca?
SPEAKER_00I'll tell you about it, and if you keep hearing about it, I feel like that's a signal. For me, it was because well, one, there's so many conspiracy theories about it, and there's so much fear-mongering about it. And when I came to and I'd I'd heard about it when I was younger, and I remember Lindsay Lohan, of all people, telling her story about it, this was a few years ago. And I wasn't, I was fascinated. I was like, oh my gosh, like she's really had an incredible experience through this. And again, the seed was planted, this was years ago. And then when I got to a point where I was like, I'm not scared of this, it's a plant medicine. Like people feel so scared of taking it's a natural plant, like so. I was really again in meditation. I felt like called to go to Peru. I have been feeling that for I'd been feeling it for a few years, and then I was like, I really do feel called to Peru. There's obviously something there for me. We talked a bit about it.
SPEAKER_03Did you research who or how did you get to find them?
SPEAKER_00It did. So we talked a bit about like the locational astrology, and I knew there was something in Peru for me energetically. I was like, I have to go, it's going to be activating something within me. And ayahuasca is just part of that because Peru is one of the main places that you can go to do it, right? So I did obviously. Weird enough it was Luke that said Peru. Yeah, so there's another sign for you. Um, because that's where the healers are, and and it's like native to that to that country. But um, I did obviously a lot of research. What I didn't do research on was the experience people had necessarily had because I didn't want to taint my perspective of like what would happen to me or what would I would experience. But I researched obviously legitimate, I was never gonna go to that one of these big groups I didn't want it to be like a huge, like the tourist thing. Yeah, I don't want to do that. Yeah, I don't want to do that either.
SPEAKER_03That's what's bugging me. Yeah, I'm looking at them and you've got these just Western people rolling around, and I thought I'm not vibing with that. I wanted it more, yeah. You're right.
SPEAKER_00That's what I'm me and the shaman. Yeah, like I I didn't know that it would be the case. I knew it'd be a small group, and I thought it could be two or three, it could be four. When I turned up, he he was like, It's just you this time. There was nowhere to hide. Meant to be. Yeah, incredible experience.
SPEAKER_03When was this follow-a year ago, six months ago?
SPEAKER_00No, it was six months, yeah. It was in November.
SPEAKER_02Quite recent.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's pretty recent still. Um I mean, the experience itself, yeah, it was mind-blowing. I was like, I was sick a lot. I think it's quite common. Like everybody sort of tends to be sick. Again, I hadn't read loads about it, so I don't think I expected it, which was good because I didn't want to go into it thinking, oh my god, I'm gonna be thrown up. Nobody wants to throw up, it's not a nice feeling. So I was kind of lucky. I didn't do much research. I did a two-day retreat, so I knew that after my first ceremony the following night I would do another one. I don't drink anymore, but the day after my first ceremony, I felt hung over. I've never felt like that in so many years because it's been since I was about 30-ish, I've not really drank properly. So Yeah, a couple of years of not really feeling hangovers, and then all of a sudden being like hit by a train of like, God, why did I ever do this to myself intentionally drinking? You know what I mean? You feel so shit afterwards. And I was like, that's weird because the experience itself was very in my mind. Like there was a lot of like clearing. I see a lot of visions, a lot of sacred geometry, a lot of colours came through.
SPEAKER_03What's sacred geometry?
SPEAKER_00Um like shapes, I don't really know how to describe them. They're like what they call again, like divine symbolism. Yeah, like symbolism, I guess. Um, like lots of that. It was a very mental experience, my first ceremony. So the next day I felt hung over. I think because I'd been so my mind had been taken so many directions, and it was almost like a clearing, and just like that, it was just a lot for me to process.
SPEAKER_02Did you go by yourself?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I was in Peru initially with a friend for a couple of weeks, and then I travelled by myself for maybe like four weeks. Oh, I love solo traveling. There's nothing I love it. Um, you don't have anyone to piss you off when you're on your own.
SPEAKER_02You do what you want when you want.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like it's great. I mean, I love traveling with other people too, but I'm no stranger to traveling alone. Um, so after the first ceremony, I felt really hungover. Really didn't want to go into the second one because that stuff tastes awful. And I'm thinking, oh my god, I feel so rough, and now I have to do it all over again. The second ceremony was the absolute opposite. It was all in my body. The first one was all in my mind, the second one was all in my body. So it was like sensations, I had like a warmth, like a real flooding warmth down my chest. Like the medicine was almost like going through me, and I could literally feel it working through me. It was crazy how different they were. Um, and then the next day I didn't feel hungover at all. The final day I woke up and I was like, I feel brand new, I feel renewed, like and also I should probably add, after the first ceremony when I left and I went up to the room, like, oh got back, looked at my watch, it was 1111. No, it wasn't, it was 1.11. It was 1.11 in the morning. And again, it fascinates me because I'm like, why have I looked at my watch and why is it 111?
SPEAKER_03I know.
SPEAKER_00Why have I finished my ceremony?
SPEAKER_03The amount of times I've woke up and it's 3 3 3 on the clock is unreal.
SPEAKER_00You're like, well, what were the chances that that would happen? Because I had to finish ceremony, I had to get my shoes on, I had to walk through the garden, I had to go up to my bedroom, and then I had to look at my watch at that exact moment, and it was 111. And I've just done my first ayahuasca ceremony. Like, what's the chances? Somebody explained to me how that's yeah, why? So I knew at that moment, especially. I was like, I've done the right thing, lots of energy moving, lots of clearing.
SPEAKER_03Did you have another awakening like you did? Was it another layer that you peeled back, or was it?
SPEAKER_00I think there was definitely more layers. I think um one thing I will say, which was interesting for me, and it made me think that perhaps maybe I wasn't quite ready enough, is that there was a point during the first night where I could feel myself going, like my mind, almost like you're gonna levitate, like your body and you held on. I held on. I think I was.
SPEAKER_03You heard that with DMT. Have you done DMT?
SPEAKER_00Um, no.
SPEAKER_03It's meant to be heard about DMT.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I was just thinking thinking then when you said it.
SPEAKER_03You meant that's similar to DMT, but I haven't done it either. But you meant to you meant to let go, to let yourself go.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so it was. Did you do it again then, Ayahuasca? I think at some point I'm open to it. I'm definitely not sworn off of it. I think it was an incredible experience, and I got a lot from it, and I would definitely be open to doing it again. And that moment in itself, I think, was a sign for me that there probably is more for me at some point in my life because I felt a bit like there was fear there that was holding. Like I could feel myself going and I wasn't gonna be in my body anymore.
SPEAKER_03But this Rachel here now would have let it go.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah. If you ask me right now, do you want to let it go? Do you want to see what's out there? Yeah, tell me, I want to see. But when you're in that moment and you're floating and you're literally, you're almost like, oh my god, if I let go right now, like I'm not, I'm not sure what I'm gonna see, and I don't know how far I'm gonna go. And and I I know I'm gonna come back, but I don't know if that makes sense. Like you're going into a realm that you're astral traveling, you're whatever you're doing, you're not physically in your body. And yeah, I think at the time I wasn't ready, right? Like I think everything's happening when you're ready, and and I clearly wasn't quite ready enough.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and this little taster. Um, to close, I've got to close it, um, keep talking. Um, a final question. I've started to introduce to the who are you question, which is a tough question, it's ever evolving, as we spoke about. Um but you keep your purpose side of you come out as well. Another question is uh again, I don't want like a an obvious answer when I ask it, is what do you want? You knew that is impact impact.
SPEAKER_00I want impact. Like what I really feel like I want is to help people. Impact on other people is something I feel like I really want. I feel like the best feeling in the world for me is helping someone, whether it's through their astrology, like tuning into their energy, giving them some guidance, giving them mirroring back to them the potential they have and like feeling them resonate and the gratitude they have when you've given them that is the best feeling in the world. I want that every single day.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that is amazing. I felt the energy come up and you were saying it. That is amazing. I said to you before, didn't I, with podcasts? It's a shame that you can't just the energy that you feel from a guest when they say something, it's a shame you can't bottle it and just send it out to the audience. I've really felt that from me. Look at you beaming thinking about it, aren't you?
SPEAKER_00But it's just honestly, they just came to me because I know that that's what I want. Like, it's not about numbers and followers and shit like that, it's about the impact you can have on human beings. And for me, like, there is just no better feeling.
SPEAKER_03And would it be amazing if there was no grind to do with that? Money bills, and you could just do that. Yeah, so free-flowing. And that's that's why you've got to have one foot in each in each camp, haven't you?
SPEAKER_00100%. And I feel like that's what we're all here to do ultimately.
SPEAKER_03Like balance again, isn't it?
SPEAKER_00Help people, though. I think in your own unique way, yeah. In your own unique way, when you see your potential, you see the gifts you have, they're always always rooted in helping other people in some way. Because that is a human nature within us, like innately, we want to help people, and you can never experience anything so fulfilling as seeing the impact you can have on another human being.
SPEAKER_03That's an amazing way to close it. And so that's me closing it. Is there anything before we do close it you want to say? You haven't got to, we might have just covered everything.
SPEAKER_00But anything in your mind that you think, oh, we didn't get to say that or do that before probably not the experience I thought I was gonna have in terms of the way we've gone, but still I absolutely loved it. Oh my god, loved it. And it just wasn't what I thought, like I knew it was gonna be just like a very inspiring, very like necessary conversation in whatever form it took, but probably I didn't maybe think we were gonna dive into astrology as much as we did, you know, like certain things like we've kind of gone around. Um, and I feel like, yeah, landing on that last mic drop of impact is probably the end. Like, I don't need to.
SPEAKER_03You know what's amazing about the guests that we have, right? Or I say we, it's me. Um, is that a love that no one plugs themselves, right? I do it at the end. Yeah, but you haven't asked me to do it. No guest says, I'm selling this, I'm doing that. So um no, because it's energy, isn't it?
SPEAKER_00If you plug yourself, people are gonna go, oh, they're forcing it now. Yeah, they don't want it.
SPEAKER_03But you you don't even no one says to me, can we plug this, do that? It's only I do it at the end. Um and so I'm just gonna do that to really close it now. Sorry, Rich. Rich edits the podcast, Richie's throwing.
SPEAKER_00The cameras have been off for half an hour.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but we've got a bad is so if someone wants uh to find a baseline for their life and astrology, they just inbox you do. Is that the way they do it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they can inbox me. I have a little link in my bio. Um, Rachel Murray, um, with an EY. That's how my last name is spelt. Um, and yeah, you can find that on my page and DM me. That's cool.
SPEAKER_03So you can do like a basic astrology reading, you can go in depth, you can do two things that I really say I would specialise in.
SPEAKER_00Well, one, I do a smaller offering, which is like, are you in the right job? Just for people who are like getting the sense that they're not and they they're getting called to something bigger. It's a slightly smaller offering because I do it as a voice note. Then I do one which is like uh access your authenticity, where I will look at your chart and mirror back to you these are the potential, this is the energy you carry, this is the potential you have, the authenticity you carry. The second one is more like stepping into your or harnessing your higher potential, let's say. Where I'm looking at the year ahead a bit like what I did with you, and I'm like, okay, these are the things you're gonna be moving through, these are the themes that are gonna come up for you. How can you harness this to your highest potential? Because at the end of the day, it's just energy to work with, so have to do some graft. Um, so yeah.
SPEAKER_03That's amazing. Obviously, my podcast is you know, the the the opening question is who are you? And it's about self awareness, human masks. So, what a great baseline for someone to just get that first stepping stone from you of where they're up to. Okay, I'm gonna actually close it now. Thanks, thank you so much for coming, and I really enjoyed that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I have, it's been really good.
SPEAKER_03Should we shake hands?
SPEAKER_00Yes, I know on the mud class.
