I think it'll be similar to what they imply in the series. I don't think it'll be I don't think they'll delve too far into why they exist or how they exist. Uh I think it'll be kind of a slow burn on a small scale, and you know, the Chai Watel at least will wind up getting lost or dying by the end. And it'll be uh a low exposure or a a small exposure to the the monster, the bacteria monster. Whatever's happening, there won't be an intense exploration of it.

What do you think about them using these like new cameras? Because it looks good. Do you think that that takes away somewhat from the original vibe?

I think it remains to be seen. From what I see here, it looks great. And it could add a big creepy feeling to it because it'll feel more like some place you could just find yourself sitting in. But if they don't apply it properly, it'll just wind up feeling not as immersive, I guess.

See, the the clips that we've shown with like it not being the found footage segment that we see happening, but I feel like it doesn't it doesn't have the same vibe, but something about it feels bigger, if that makes sense. Like you it's you can feel the scope of how vast these rooms are with it. And I don't know if that was the role a little from the claustrophobia. I don't know, maybe that's why Kane's implementing some more of it. Because the found footage scene, the fact that there's a third character going in, and they we haven't announced who that person is, makes me think that person's fucked. I don't see that person getting out.

I wonder if maybe because it's like was it's elect electromagnetic pulses that were used to open the doorway. So maybe you can only use these shitty, like, old cameras when you're investigating in it. Maybe maybe it distorts the signal on your cameras. I I don't know what that would be. I don't have a good guess for it. Could I think of a good one to do? Sure, but I don't know what they're going to do in the movie.

Well, we know there's a therapist. So m maybe we're going like okay, this guy seems to have like a furniture store that he's found the storeway into. So maybe he tries to like utilize it as like additional space for his shop, but him going in and out is like messing with his mind. Because like surely going through a dimensional barrier and snorting up uh dead mold can't be too good for you.

When when I don't know any of the characters' names, but when he first enters the null zone and he looks down that big long tunnel, it does appear like there's someone walking towards yes, a furniture store. So that would make sense. Oh, and the the boat wheels that you saw merged with the walls later in his shop. Oh, that's interesting.

That makes the most sense to me, especially in a um you know, whether or not that's what Kane originally had in mind, which I think it it feels to me realistic that it was a multiverse sort of connector, the backrooms. That seems like a good pitch. That seems like a good way to get people to give you creative control is to say I have a multiverse story, like we've been doing in all these, you know, there's all these different shows and movies, a lot of superhero universes, and also this I forget the show. Uh there's a Joel Edgerton show on Apple that's about separate universes. There's all these different pieces of media about alternate universes at this point, so it seems like an easy way to pitch someone on their story.

Oh, I'm watching the the clip again where we lower this like teenager with the camera in, and you can see both of them are already in the backrooms, so maybe there's some benefit to them exploring further as but how does async factor into this? Because I feel like it's a small scale story bringing in like the big government and async canonically are shut down by this point. We saw the monsters, we saw that time was fucked, and they they it it shut, they they walled it up. But how does async like fit into this? Because it seems like it's supposed to be more of a like a grounded story dealing with I'd assume it's an A24 movie, is probably our character's trauma manifested into something scary. But but how how does how how would I don't get how you can bring this big government entity that's trying to create public housing in a pocket dimension that they blew a hole into using a room full of generators that half blew up California with an earthquake? And it's gonna be interesting how we do it. Do you but I wonder how he finds was he just like talking to a customer one day and he just went through the wall?

You could have like a child disappears, like a child is kind of what I was thinking about, and then comes out of the wall older. Time has passed. Yeah, and they're like, What where the fuck's where are where's why's this weird homeless man here? Where's my child? Oh, but the one oh, do you know what I just thought about? What would be sick? What if he wasn't taking the furniture in? What if overnight something's been coming out and bringing the furniture back?

No, it's just not grounded. You know, it's very fantastical, but it the way it's presented, the fact that the backrooms are given this office space feeling, which is as I'm looking at this thumbnail, very a lot of that is credited to the lighting of it. It's very office space lighting.

But it's also kind of like it's nostalgic lighting, like it's very warm and vital. Which it is, yeah.

So I don't maybe fuck, I don't even know what you could how wait what what would you even mean by that? Is it just every element of life is in there somewhere, but it's just so vast and expansive that all you'll really find is the odd piece of furniture that people have created.

Like the the idea of that if there was a book if there was a library with infinite books with infinite letters and numeral orders on every page forever. That means that library would hold every single piece of information that ever did happen, ever will happen. Every scientific explanation like you you'd you'd even have like images being formed through there, but the it would be so vast that you would never be able to actually find anything in it. So they did the we did the the experiment with an infinite pixel board somewhere online where it's like technically every single photo that could ever be made at any point in time until the heat death of the universe will be in this pixel board. But the the odds are also infinite, so you will just never find them.
