Not only do we have our very first guest, but we're on our first trip abroad. Listen in to hear about our adventures, and some close calls.

SPEAKER_01

Hello, welcome back to Soapbox Shit Show. I'm Cassara. And I'm Nikki. And today we have a phenomenal, beautiful, talented, and smart first guest of the podcast. Want to introduce yourself? Oh my god, hi everyone. I'm Kiana. Also known as Cassara's wife. Also known as Nikki's best friend. That's true. Also known as the greatest. Of what? That's it. Just the greatest. End point. Like exclamation. Okay. Cool. I feel like it needs to be greatest. Like you gotta continue it all like all time of the world of the town of Prescott. Of like what are we doing here?

SPEAKER_02

It just like already like encapsulates it like that doesn't give me much though.

SPEAKER_01

But that it just says enough. Like it's already there's a lot of greats of things. So why put an end label on it? You know what I mean? It just like it limits me. Also, okay, I want to preface this just before we get into it. Hello everyone. I know I've been behind the camera many times. Behind the scenes. Um, I will say we will talk about what we're what we've been up to, but I am extremely tired right now. Running on very little sleep. I may have had a few drinks tonight. And let's just say I'll I may be a bit unfiltered. So I do apologize in advance. But I don't apologize for being entertaining. Period. You won't have to apologize for anything on that front, but you know, it's just kissy. Um yeah, no, we haven't done one in a bit. Sorry about that. Yeah, been kind of busy stuff, getting stuff done, but we will be better. I promise. This one, I actually need to stop making a promise. No, this is my actual promise on me because I have been lacking on putting videos out. We also have been lacking on recording videos. That's true.

SPEAKER_02

That's me. That's me.

SPEAKER_01

We know I allow us to reschedule often. We know, but no, we uh we've been busy planning for our trip to um other countries, all the fun things trying to make up the money, even though hustling Nikki B swiping her card for us sometimes. It's okay. It's okay.

SPEAKER_02

We get through it, we get through it.

SPEAKER_01

We got through it, you know, it'd be like that. But no, we uh we finally went on our trip. We went to a couple stops. We are on our trip.

SPEAKER_02

We are currently I mean, in our fashion, we are waiting to the absolute last night to film this podcast.

SPEAKER_01

We have to be out of uh out of here in the taxi by 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. And it is currently 11 p.m. Which is pretty crazy. But you know, packed. Yeah, that's okay. That's okay. That's okay. We got through the whole trip now, you know. We just let's be honest, you know for a fact that I, if it wasn't for you, Cassara, I would not pack until literally like an hour before we have to be in the taxi. And that's insane, and that's why she's not allowed to be in charge of any time management on this trip or in our life. Okay, but what am I in charge of? What am what have I been in charge of? I mean, what let's talk about our roles. We're gonna talk about our roles really quick on this trip. And what we quickly found, what we quickly found is it has been our roles in our travel guide, right? Here's who we are. Go ahead, Nikki. I plan everything. Nikki, Nikki is logistics, she makes sure everything is reserved, like we got reservations, we have our cars ready to go, like people places to stay, tickets to be had, stuff booked, all that good stuff. I I'm the navigator. We found that out like halfway through the trip, though. So that was kind of stressful at the beginning there, but we figured it out. I navigate through the cities. Um they walk so fast.

SPEAKER_02

I would like to point that out though. That that's a lot of it. Like even when I was trying to navigate us, Ollie was uh Cassara's up front. Like that's fair. That's fair. So so yeah, so you just naturally took it. It was it worked, and then Keanu.

SPEAKER_01

And my role was all about the vibe. Well, also your role, okay. Cassara's role was also like housewife, like house, housewife, like house, you know, duties and things like that, which we did not assign to her at all, but we gladly gave to her. I mean, that's what she wanted to do. But my role was basically like find the restaurants, find the vibe, the random, like sporadic things that we're you know, spontaneous things that we were doing. It was definitely about like finding little shops or like little activities to do here and there that would make the experience even better. I also also my role was also communicating with people in a different way too. Look, can I speak Italian? Not yet. Am I speaking it? Yes, I am. I am. I've been speaking it this entire time to people. I've been having a chat people. That is true. Uh thank you to Google Translate and Chat TV too. Not that we not for the win. Not I I've not that I am a big fan of that, but it did help a lot. And I know you have feelings. Look, look, I have been away, I have learned new things about it that I don't really like, but we're not gonna get into that right now. We're talking about the trip, we're talking about our roles. So I was a communicator, and I was I would I've always been able to be, you know, to talk to people and to communicate well with people, and so also it's scary to talk to people in general, and I can usually talk to people, so especially in a different language, I thought it was really fun. So mine was vibes, aesthetics, restaurants, talking, communication. So and those were our roles. Yeah, but to get into the actual trip of what had occurred, we did um a good long 10-hour flip and flight from Phoenix, Arizona to London, England, which was I slept the whole freaking time, pretty much.

SPEAKER_02

That you did in the middle seat, vibed out, which is the one you were the one we were thinking that would hopefully.

SPEAKER_01

I was I was drugged.

SPEAKER_02

I was definitely drugged, but I also was definitely the consensually drugged. Let's put that in there.

SPEAKER_01

No, no roofies were had. I I swallowed willingly. Okay. That's what she said. Um, but no, I because I always have anxiety flying, so I was definitely the one who is like, I need drugs to do this because taking off and landing is not my strong suit. So I was like, this needs to not be awake for, but and then Kiana and Nikki were not having a fun time, apparently. No, no, it was not Kiana. I feel like Kiana was up and down like the whole time, really restless. Well, what happened was I took my like three melatonin gummies and was like, okay, great, let's you know, pop a few, let's go to sleep. And I was I had my little eye mask, I had my little neck pillow, I had my my tunes on. I was this bitch bit this bitch be doing her hair in the middle of the fucking airplane. Literally curlers and everything. It was a vibe. I wanted to wake up. Good content. Face, face mask, curlers. I put my, you know, I did all my skincare, wash my hands, of course, because airplanes and airports be nasty as fuck. And look, I did all the things I need to do, except for my curlers. My curl, I spent $17 on those damn curlers, and they didn't fit my hair. They kept sliding out, and look, I have a bob, but they should work. Anyways, I was mad about it. So I did my whole thing, popped the gummies, was laying back, and then they announced dinner. And I said, Well, I have to eat, obviously. So gotta eat. You know, for real, you gotta eat. So then I kind of stayed up for a second. I said, Okay, I can eat this really quickly, and then I can go right back to sleep. And man, that was a mistake because I I maybe slept two, three hours tops, and then I was up the entire time. And I was up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, and my back was hurting, my ass was hurting. You forget, you know what those seats? Sorry, you know those seats on airplanes. Why do they make your ass hurt? Now I don't I know I don't got much back there. I don't got much back there, okay? And that's not my strong suit. It's alright, it's alright. Everyone has their strengths, that's not one of mine, and I don't have all that cushion back there, but immediately within an hour my ass is asleep, and it's hurting. Does anyone else experience that? Oh, I know actually, I know you don't, that's for sure. No, I do that's why that's why on the flight I like kept leaning forward was because my butt fell asleep. So I would be like this for like three hours, and I'd be like, oh shit, and I would like lean forward. Well, then clearly it has nothing to do about cushion, so that's maybe it's a different reason. I know what I know what's a fucking family show. I it's not I know it's a family show, okay? I get that. I know that you're family. Hello, hello everyone. Hello, brothers, hello, hello, sister-in-laws, hello, everybody. I know you're hearing this, okay? Look, we all know talking. We all know, stop talking. No, they don't. They all anyways, they have eyes, don't they? Anyways. Anyways. No, you can cut whatever you want. I'm gonna talk. What was I gonna say? I didn't see it. Oh, I was on clockwork though, with those fucking meals. I would fall asleep and then I'd wake up whenever the snack cart was coming around. I was I was asleep. Dinner? Oh, okay. I'm up. I'm up. Didn't know how to say anything. I was there. That would that dinner was honestly. I like the dinner. It was the breakfast that was lol. The breakfast was gross. Yeah, I didn't like the breakfast.

SPEAKER_02

Dinner pissed me off because it stole my shirt. That literally like just really set that whole plane right off for me.

SPEAKER_01

Ruined my fit and I was pissed. I couldn't move on. Me and Nikki both wore white shirts under our like jackets.

SPEAKER_02

But honestly, vibe the the fit hit.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. But we we both had white bowls and took them off for the flight, and then the dinner was it was like a rice, uh, like red uh was it like a red rice thing?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, rice, it was like rice chicken thing, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And it was like tom it seemed like tomato sauce, and so like we both dropped it on our I did worse. Mine like traveled down, like dropped down. But and then we landed in London. We had about 18 hours in London, but that included sleeping, so we were probably there like doing stuff in London for what like six hours, maybe something like that.

SPEAKER_02

By the time we got into London, because we were also staying at like by the airport, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

A little bit of travel time. We did the we did the I did the metro for the first time. That was really fun. True, true, true. Really fun, and we had a cool get off the metro moment. Yes, it was so crazy. Yeah, yeah, because we did not plan it, it was not planned, it's just how it ended up, but we walked out of the metro, of course. Big Ben was right there, but like we walked up to Cess and then boom, Big Ben. Yeah, she cute. She cute, she really cute. She really like popped up and did her thing right out the metro. So we're like, oh big and girthy right there. Okay, and you want and you get mad at me. Okay, you know what? So you're talking about me, especially the double standards that this show has, and I felt no, you can say anything about anything else, just only do what we want on the show. We make the rules, it's our show.

unknown

It's our show.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I see, I see. Yeah, it's fine, yeah. All right, I didn't know. I I I knew I signed a contract to NDA, but I didn't know what that was about. Yeah, it was that fine print, fine print. Well, anyways, when we got up, it was crazy. When we got off the metro, it was like we literally walked up the steps, and then boom, it was just big man right there. And it was raining, so it was like it was a really cute moment, like very cinematic, like you know, coming of age. Oh my gosh, I just went to a new country sort of like moment. And it was because this was also my first time out of the country, yeah. So that was pretty crazy. And then we did London Eye, that was one of my my requests on our excursions.

SPEAKER_02

Your bucket list thing, one of my bucket list things.

SPEAKER_01

Um, a few people were freaking out. Maybe all three of us. I don't know. You weren't really no, not really. Okay, Keanu was freaking out. Hey, that's nobody should ever be that high ever. You do it in a plane by like 10,000 percent more. I've never liked it. Look, I love traveling, I love doing things like that. But at least the but the eye is connected to the ground somehow. Flying. Okay, here's the thing. I didn't freak out about the height. I thought I was going to freak out about the height, but it really wasn't the biggest of issues. More, I think it was like a megalophobia sort of thing, where it's like big things. Fear of phone. That's a big word.

SPEAKER_02

Can you break it down for us, Lollies?

SPEAKER_01

Megalod, as in mega phone mega, big thing. Mega as in big, like a megalodon. Do you know what a megalodon is? Like the dinosaur? Tell one. Is it really? Yes, a megalodon. No. Nikki. Nikki. You know what I mean? Look at me right here. Megalodon. It's a big ass shark. Yeah, Meg, the movie. About the shark. Oh, is it?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah, it's sorry.

SPEAKER_01

I was you know what I was thinking of? I was thinking of Megan. Not Megan. Meg, yes.

SPEAKER_02

You mean like Megan?

SPEAKER_01

That's what I was thinking. No, no, yes, but yes, the movie Meg. Sorry. I didn't understand what you were saying, but yes. So sharks. Big ass sharks. Oh, that's like the big, big like dinosaur eating sharks. We gotta finish those.

unknown

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. There's a candy shop in London that I want to take you to. I keep saying TikToks about it. There's a whole bunch of gummies.

SPEAKER_02

I love gummies.

SPEAKER_01

And candy has been fun. Yeah, multiple breakfasts have been had. Not by me. I will just point that out. In judgment.

SPEAKER_02

Rude. Boom. You not appreciate.

SPEAKER_00

You bring me on to my podcast. Yeah. Um my own podcast.

SPEAKER_01

But no, but they had multiple uh breakfasts that was just gummy candy. That wasn't me. Coca-Zero. Coca-Zero. Sorry, Mom. But, anyways, we did the London Eye. Better at night, though, I will say that. Yes. Yes. I found that out. That's fair. Oh, the the watermelon ones? Yeah. Yeah. Like candy. You know what's funny? No, those specific watermelon ones. They're not like the same as like uh, they're not like uh um a shark. No, like sour patch kids watermelons, you know, they're like they're different. Oh god. But I was thinking the same thing because my rainbow bites were better in the morning than they were at night. Yeah, they have day. They have like a time of day they need to be honestly how Italian of them. Love that, anyways. No, we uh so we did the London Eye, we got some, we got dinner, we tried, I tried fish and chips for the first time. Was it your first time, Kiana? Yep, it was it was Kiana's first time as well. Um went to a pub. Went to a pub, had a nice Guinness, Avi. What else are you gonna do in London? Did we have Guinness? No, you uh we had a like a white wine. I had a beer, yeah. That's a regular beer. Nikki had a beer, and then Nick Kiana had a white wine, of course, because she's Kiana, anyways. Um do you see the the judgment, the disrespect, the disrespect? But we tried fish and chips for the first time. Then was that all we did? We went back, we kind of walked around the kind of walked around. It was rainy. I don't know what that area was called, to be honest. I don't remember. I don't know, but we were like two miles away from Buckingham Palace, and I really wanted to go. But I was like, no, let's not. So we had to go back to the show. So not just kidding. No, it's because it was like a 45-minute walk. Which that's something, okay. Why is everything like 2.5 miles away, but it's gonna take you an hour to get there here?

SPEAKER_02

Because everything is I know, it's just so crazy.

SPEAKER_01

Because it's like 2.5 miles in the US is like a five-minute drive. Like a five-minute, you're not gonna have to do it. No, I know, but like even no, but even driving, it was like it took longer. City. I guess. Anyways, I'm over it.

SPEAKER_02

That's just like going to LA. If you like, there'd be like a Starbucks. I guess yeah, that's fine. You have to get like three exits.

SPEAKER_01

That's fair. That's fair. Um, and then we kind of went back to the hotel. Nikki got the time of the flight wrong, so we had to leave like three hours sooner than we thought we had to. I think I was thinking about our flight tomorrow is at 10. Well, because also our train, wasn't our train at the same time that you said you thought it the flight was?

SPEAKER_02

And it was no idea what the train we're talking about.

SPEAKER_01

The speed train, high speed train.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

Anyways, but so we had to was it bugged? Did you have tickets? Exactly. You said, did you die though? But we had to go to bed super quickly, only have like three hours, had to get up. True. Get up like three hours when we sooner than we thought we did. Um, we made the flight, you're right. And that's what really that's when we we should have known the tone of this trip would be just pure exhaustion, like majority of the time. Just go, go, go, do as many things as possible, see as many things, don't get sleep ever.

SPEAKER_02

She's all the exhausted, she's stealing the mic in my own podcast. The audacity. We only have two microphones. We only have two, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but to be fair, that is traveling. Yes. Oh, wait. No, we we gotta talk about one thing. So, okay, I I have a very strong opinion.

SPEAKER_02

What?

SPEAKER_01

That's true. Kina is cursed. Okay, we'll talk about that in a second. It's true. I am cursed a little bit, and I'm trying not to claim that, but I also I have to face reality a little bit, you know what I mean? So it's just a family curse, it's fine. But to get we'll get we'll get to that in a minute. I have a theory, and I think a lot of people agree with this, but the group that I'm in right now does not.

SPEAKER_02

I agree with it.

SPEAKER_01

I know what she's gonna say about the there are different kinds of traveling.

SPEAKER_02

I understand that.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I know you're gonna okay.

SPEAKER_02

So there's- I just think we are all different.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, there's there's a trip and then there's a vacation, right? A trip is where if you're gonna go on a trip, you're gonna go see the excursions, you're gonna go tour, you're gonna go see all the sites, you're gonna do things boom boom moo moo, right? Maybe get some cool food in there, whatever. That's a trip, right? If you're on a vacation, you're relaxing, you're lounging, you don't have a lot of uh plants. You maybe have a dinner here and there, you may have a little plant here and there, maybe one or two excursions, but you're really your focus is relax and rest, right? Relaxation and rest. That's a vacation. You have to, in my opinion, you have to either have one or the other, or a good mix of both, where you have vacation days and trip days. Otherwise, you're exhausted or you see nothing. And if and if you're good with either one of those, then you can keep, you know, go on a trip or go on a vacation. But in this, in this case, it was very much a trip with like one day vacation.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe two, two, two, two days, give you two full days. Not my fault you want you planned to go to Chinatown on one of your days. Not my fault.

SPEAKER_01

Well, to be fair, we went to Chinatown in Milan because it was the Chinese New Year's. Um it was Chinese New Year's, and there was supposed to be a parade, and everyone wanted to. And nothing happened. And nothing happened. Nothing, nothing in Italian fashion dragon parade thing. Didn't see a dragon, go woo. Yeah. I love their little dancing. I love their dancing. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I really wanted to see that. I wanna go to China. I wanna go to China. I wanna go to Korea. I wanna go to Japan. I wanna go to Vietnam. I'm all over there. Anyways. Sorry, proceed. Vibes. Yeah. Yeah. You gotta you gotta go to the 7-Eleven over there. That's what I'm saying. I think that's in Korea. Oh, Korea South Korea. I ain't going to North Korea. That's well. I'll be honest, I ain't going to North Korea.

SPEAKER_00

Sorry to any North Friends that I think it and then immediately heard it and regretted it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. But um, yeah. We got to the plane on time and then we flew to Napoli. Good for bringing it back. Uh Napoli, right? Napoli. Napoli. We went to Napoli and spent three full days there, correct? Two nights, three days, roughly. No, three days. Two days? Two days. No, three nights, four days. No, that was here. I don't know. We spent some time there. We spent some time there. Had a couple cool um tours that Nikki had set up for us. We did a food tour that like the first night we were there was really good. Really bomb. They just took us around.

SPEAKER_02

Always the best way to go, especially the first night. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Anywhere you go, I think. That's fair. And uh they took us around. Yeah, it was like central. We got so much history. So much good history. Um, did like central it was like central um uh city center. City center, thank you, city center. Um, and tried like the original pizza, um, the margarita pizza, like legit. Can't beat it. Can we talk for a second about the driving in Italy? Oh, insane. Oh my god. I thought we were gonna die a couple times, but the first night we were there. I was like, 100%, oh my god. Milan is relatively like okay. They have lanes, they pay, they lights. They have lanes and lights, but nothing in Naples. Naples, what I literally got off, we got off of the plane, we got into the car, and I was like, oh dear god, we're gonna die. This was it was the craziest driving. See, but nobody hits anybody. No one bits, it's so skilled, it's so crazy. I think I've seen it very impressive, and it didn't even like no one hit anybody. It was like someone just like went off the road, it looked like it wasn't even like a crash crash. Yeah, the most I saw was like someone grazed the wall. Yeah, they hit the wall, but they kept walking they kept driving. They're fine. What am I gonna do? Sue the wall? Yeah, well then I guess you do. We learned on the crew tour that the rule is that everyone, including like pedestrians, walking, um, Vespas, bikes, cars, buses, whatever, they all have the same rights on the road. So if you're like if you're just walking in front of a car, you have the same right, but and they'll get like they won't hit you, but they're gonna get freaking close. They're gonna grace your knit knee hair.

unknown

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

For real.

SPEAKER_00

They're gonna get it.

SPEAKER_01

It's like that scene in that's like that scene in Blades of Glory when he throws them and it cuts out, just shaves his hair off his chin. That's what it was like. That's how close they got to you. Yeah, like legitimately, and then you just the the roads are so incredibly narrow. I mean, I there were some times where I was like, there's no way we're gonna get through this this little area with the trash cans with another Vespa.

SPEAKER_02

It reminds me of like Harry Potter, like where the the road, you know, like in the shrink and like expand. Except for they don't expand. Yeah, they just shrink. They just shrink. But like you really question that. Yeah, like are we really making that? Okay, cool, cool, cool, cool.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah, that was our first, like, our first what 15-20 minutes in Naples was on the road, and it I like it was crazy. I mean, the last time I had experienced anything like that was when I was in Africa and I was in Malawi and in Zambia for a while, and that like went in the area that they do drive in, it's like crazy. It's it it's just as crazy. But here it was like this is insane, but it's also I'm so impressed. I'm so thoroughly impressed with how skilled they are. The amount sorry, go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

Oh no, I was gonna say the same, like it seems civilized to me from Naples or because of being in Costa Rica and Turkey. Now that shit, if you think Naples and Italy is bad, that shit's crazy. It's probably very similar to Kenya. It was there's absolutely no rules, and they honk and they get even crazier.

SPEAKER_01

Like also, it's sorry, not not driving, but like the walking situation in Naples. I'm like, guys, either go, don't go. I see. I was getting so I wanted to show shoulder text so many people. I'm like, this isn't high school and you're walking with your girlfriend. Let's get a little move on, the little pep in your step. Well, okay, let's be fair. You walk like the speed of light. You walk like walking with everybody else. Walk like you're in New Yorker or something. They thank you. Actually, I think that as a compliment.

SPEAKER_02

It was a compliment.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, thank you. You walk like one of those speedwalkers in the Olympics. You know what I'm talking about? Like the grandmas that go speedwalking in the mall. I was thinking, yes. I was thinking of Monkham in the middle when Hal gets like really into like Hal. The dad. Oh yeah, he like gets into like speedwalking. That's exactly how you walk.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

I could see you walking in the mall with a headband.

SPEAKER_02

Your little weights in this sweatshirt specifically. A little, a little like kind of like Yes.

SPEAKER_01

But we did a food tour. We did uh an original margarita pizza, which was really good. They did they showed us fried pizza, which was like ricotta instead of uh mozzarella, um, with like uh prosciutto, or not prosciutto, but like ham in it and stuff, and it was like fried dough, and then lemoncello. Lemoncello, like like legit, it's like a 99-proof alcohol with lemons and sugar, and it's like you take a shot, and yeah, if you need to mix it with like sparkling water, you can, or like uh you know, spritz or whatever, and man, that thing will clear sinuses, you know, quicker than cayenne. It's crazy. And the and Nikki couldn't finish her, so I had to drink it. So I was schwasted first night Naples walking out the street off of two shots of woman cello.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. That shit's crazy strong.

SPEAKER_01

And they gave us uh what was it like it was the Buffalo mozzarella? That was really good. Also, those bitches on that first thing, I was like, let me get some. I like couldn't get in. It was like a little charcuterie board with like 10 people in this group trying to get on this board. I was like, guys, yeah, I want some too. Like manners. Come on. Push your way in. Yeah, that's that's one thing. You like you gotta assert yourself in certain areas, like you just gotta go for it. People don't care, they do not there, there's not a level of like, oh, you've been waiting here, you go. No, no, no. I think it's just with any tourists. It took well, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

It took it made what like 15 minutes to do the the bull thing. Oh yeah, that was annoying me.

SPEAKER_01

No, I did. Did you? I just didn't complete it. Oh, okay, apparently. I did like two and a half rather than the full three, which I didn't know. No one told me I had to do three turns like that, so wasn't my bad. No, that's crazy. I'm on I'm on Ireland TikTok.

SPEAKER_02

Honestly valid.

SPEAKER_01

And in UK TikTok.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's fair. It's about time my TikTok is yeah, is showing me my next trips plan. There you go, there you go.

SPEAKER_01

Same. But um, what else do we have? We had uh I can't remember the name of the pastries. It was like I think one was called Baba or Bebe or whatever. It was B-A-B-A. I know that. Um Baba. And then there was like this cake, uh like sticky cake thing. I can't remember what it was, but and then some gelato. And the the nightlife there was really cool. I mean, it was just like the streets were filled all the time. And we were so we had this really cute little apartment Airbnb thing, right? Um, not in the city center, but kind of off, you know, still in the city, but um, right below us was like I don't know, five or six bars. And I'm telling you, everyone and their mother was piled in the city. It was crazy outside of our rooms, like, and you would think that it would be like too loud, but it really wasn't. And it was so fun. I mean, there's the nightlife was just crazy. Yeah, we did go one night, we did go to uh this bar. What was it called? Uh SIAC SIAC Bar by Maria Maria Esposito, nice friend.

SPEAKER_02

Shout out, shout out, shout out, shout out, shout out. We got confirmation. They're like, oh, Zaudi's friend fans. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

There were some before us too.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But we went there and then on the way back trying to get back to the Airbnb was insane. Cause like it was literally right outside of our Airbnb, and it was like two blocks worth of bars, and it was just wall-to-wall people. Yeah, I mean, crowd like a full-on crowd. Like it was it looks like uh like it kind of looked like um like a concert crowd. Like that's what it looked like. Yeah, yeah, and like you're walking into a a a full, you know, what is it, general admission, yeah, seriously. Floor seat sort of yeah, like that's how it was.

SPEAKER_02

And we were there on the weekend, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like it was Friday night, yeah, too. Yeah. Um it was fun, it was really cool, and the apartment was so cute. It was so crazy though, from like, because when we left the um Maria's bar to walk back to our apartment, it was like dead. Like there was no one on the streets when we left the bar, and then by the time we got to because we had like a maybe 10-15 minute walk to the apartment, and um, like once you hit the street before our street, that's when the party started. Yeah, it was completely dead. I think we saw like maybe one or two people walking back to the bar, and then that one street was just wall-to-wall people, and it was it made sense too, though, because like where we were staying during the day was so dead and at night, yes, but yeah, but and then that was what else? Oh, we did uh uh an art tour, a little street art tour sort of situation, I guess.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it was Spanish quarters. Thought it would be more street art, yeah, but it was more factual, which is fine, it was chill, yeah. It was good. We did the Sorrento, Almafi, yeah, we went to the Almafi Coast.

SPEAKER_01

I keep forgetting that we did Positano, Sorrento, and Almafi. Almafi. Which, by the way, we had the best, I think the best pasta I've ever had in my life in Almafi Coast. It was absolutely incredible. I mean, the food, the food has been incredible the whole time, but that was like the best pasta ever. That was super bomb.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And right on the water, even though there were buses and stuff in front of the water, but we were still next on the water.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We were on it. Yeah, we were like we were there. It was like 500 feet from us. Yeah, yeah, yeah. True, true, true, true. And then of course, I slept all the way back. That's true, that's true. I slept a lot. Yeah, any vehicle or thing that was moving, I was probably asleep. That young in one.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. We were all passed out on that. That's on that way, the last way back. Well, even the kid behind us was knocked out. I would, but I would fall asleep in between cities. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which is so funny because like I don't know how any of us fell asleep. It was just like the the van we were in was packed. The van was super freaking hot. Um, it was like, you know, bumpy like cobblestone, and they drive crazy, so it's like, you know, when you stop, you like hit the scene in front of you. Like, like it was, it's just I don't know how any of us fell asleep, but we did. We were like, see, for me, it was either get nauseous or fall asleep, right? And then after I think that was pretty much all we did. And you did a music tour, Nikki. Oh, yeah. That was pretty cool, right? For you, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I did a music tour and explored, and that was awesome. I met this guy who did the tour, and then he had brought his mom with him, and it was so funny, and they were so cute. And then they gave me like this personalized tour around the city. I gotta see the metro and all this kind of stuff. Scope it out, you know.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, um, but yeah, beautiful city overall. Go check it out if you have a chance in your life, it's pretty great. Um, and then took a high-speed train for the first time in my life. That's true. That was pretty cool. Um, five hours though. That was kind of aggressive. I don't like crackers though.

SPEAKER_02

Lots of crackers, lots of crackers.

SPEAKER_01

The chips, like the little little little crackers with cheese sort of situation. Nothing else. We got to see a lot of the um the countryside. Countryside, which is beautiful. But then we got to Milan, and when we got to Milan, uh took a taxi to our a little other little apartment, which is also so cute. Definitely in the more like residential area, which is like the real Milan. Way smaller, way smaller. Um, and then what did we do the first day? Like, I literally can't remember when to eat. What do we oh yeah, that was that was the first time that we had an official like Italian, not not a food.

SPEAKER_02

Was that our sixth course meal?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so the first night in Milan was that night was it was it was that night? Yeah, it was the first night okay, um, because we went shopping after for like a little bit of grocery situation. Yeah, we got like real cool. I'll remember I'll remember. Yeah, I don't know. But we had our like official like courses of because we've been wondering like the whole time when we were ordering food in like Naples or like wherever we're eating, it like has it says like uh starters, first course, second course, and then like dessert. And we were like, what the fuck is this? Right. So we this whole time we were just ordering one thing because that's like what you do in the US. Like it all comes as a crew, yeah. I mean, maybe an appetizer and a dessert, but your main course is like just one thing, one thing, yeah. You order it, it's all one plate, it's all one thing. But in Italy, it's your starter, so like a little appetizer, something small, and then a pasta dish, a meat dish, and then dessert. And we were super confused, pretty much like the first in the like all of Naples, wherever we wanted to eat, of like what it all meant. And then finally, this first restaurant, we're like, let's just try it out. See what like at we asked the waitress, she was like, she spoke a little bit more English, so it was easier to come like talk to her and ask questions. And then we were like, Do we like and they were waiting around? It was I remember when we first ordered at like the Malfi Coast one, it was like she kind of like waited around, was like, is that is that all you want? Or yeah, like that's all that's it. And so we she finally like she waited around again in this first place in Milan, and we were like, So, like, do we order everything all together? Like, we actually finally asked the question, and she was like, Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Like, you order everything at one time, and so we got our drinks, we got our starter, the pasta dish, and like down the line, and then um it does make sense because I on like TikTok and stuff, it was saying like it's like an abomination to put meat on pasta now, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

So that having this as like a second course that makes a lot more sense now, in like you know, yeah, because then at least yeah, at least that restaurant, because like we will well no, even the restaurant we went to for dinner today, it was like you finish your pasta, they'll watch you, like not stand there and watch you, but they'll like look out basically, yeah. They'll look out for like you to finish your your your pasta dish, and then they'll come around, pick up your plates, like pasta bring out your meat course. What'd you say? Your pasta ninjas, and then bring out your meat course, and then like so on and so forth. But it was like it took us to like the three days in Naples to get to Milan to then finally figure out what their what their situation was with how they eat, and then their times for eating is crazy. Oh my god. Wait, one more thing, one more thing before you say something. They only have fucking pastries for breakfast and it pisses me off. Yeah, see, that's that English blood in you, or whatever, whatever that like Polish white blood of yours meat heavy. No, not not even meat heavy, but I want like a savory option. Sarah was like, someone give me a sausage and egg right now.

SPEAKER_02

Not even something with salt, not sugar.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, please. But it's fine. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

That was another thing too, was like, um, I really like the the the what Z's on live right now, and Ollie is judging me for watching it as we're filming. You're so funny. I support.

SPEAKER_01

Support her, I don't care her shirt.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, if you ever hear Nikki just like not talking for a while.

SPEAKER_01

Whoa. If you ever hear Nikki uh just like not talking for a while, it's because she's distracted and watching by watching Z on Kiana.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, because I'm watching her in her own time zone right now.

SPEAKER_01

Thanks for coming on the air, Kiana. We uh it was a pleasure to have you. Don't let her have the microphone on you. She's not allowed. We're ending the podcast. Thank you. Have a good night, guys. Bye. Bye.
