From UFC fights to football, all kinds of sports. Anything that your big brother says to me. I'm just throwing shit out. Okay, you know what, dude? I'm gonna start my own podcast. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06It's gonna be a podcast within the podcast. We're rockin' flock.
unknownOh yeah.
SPEAKER_03You're rocking flock in the tongue. Oh my god. Welcome to another episode of the G Boys podcast.
SPEAKER_02It's just cash, it's okay.
unknownIt didn't even start yet.
SPEAKER_03It's crazy. What is going on?
SPEAKER_06It's non-alcoholic all over me, dude. Wow.
SPEAKER_05It's okay, dude. I'll just rock it like this. Fuck it, might as well.
SPEAKER_02I think it's a sign that you should stop drinking alcohol. Non-alcoholic.
SPEAKER_05Non-alcoholic? So I should go back to being an alcoholic then, please.
SPEAKER_03No, you just said you said you were way cooler. You were definitely way cooler. That's what I know. Hey, welcome to another episode of the Stogie Boys podcast. It's your boy's tone flock rouben, and of course. A wet tone. Motherfucking bear. How's it going? Two weeks, two weeks already. She's doing good. Two weeks in a row. That's right.
SPEAKER_02I was gonna call off today. I bet you were. To hang out with my father.
SPEAKER_03Oh well, Valid. Shout out to Pops. Dad, we don't talk about it. Oh my god. Here we go, dude. He doesn't like you. He doesn't like when you say that, dude. The other day, I didn't want to say this. He doesn't really like you either.
SPEAKER_06I didn't want to say this in front of you, but uh there uh he sent me a thing that says like um something about like I love you, son, and I'm proud of you, type of thing. I don't know. That's what's up, dude. That's what's up. So I didn't want to bring that up, dude. He likes to congratulations.
SPEAKER_03Give it up for Tone, he's the favorite. So you guys didn't get one? Jealous, dude. I get one, I get one. Don't be jealous, dude. You didn't get one of I'm proud of you, son? It was like a whole meme. He didn't say it.
SPEAKER_06He didn't say it. He didn't text it either. He just sent me a meme that said it. Oh, like a post? Yeah, like a post. Yeah, yeah, I got one too.
SPEAKER_03It made me cry.
SPEAKER_07You're a push.
SPEAKER_04But then he was like, I love you, I love you, sons of bitches. That's what he said. He didn't tell me that. He's drunk. He might have been hungry.
SPEAKER_03He sent it to me and I said. Just kidding.
SPEAKER_05I did the watery eyes. Me too! Yeah, the watery eyes and happy, dude.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I was all happy. It made my day better, dude. I got really drunk that day. No, um, that's we're back, man. We're back and we're ready. We have another special guest. We got our we got our calendar book. Look at that. Yeah, this is our last guest of the month before Alvin comes home. And then Rock's back. And then we're gonna see if we can get some other people out here with us. This is gonna be a lot of fun. With Raqqa. Yes. That'll be a definitive.
SPEAKER_06Because we were talking to Rock, and he was saying that he he he he like misses out on he wish he was here. Yeah, you're a good one. When we have the guest, you know, and I'll it's always nice to have Alvin's input too.
SPEAKER_03So we just won't do the podcast until Alvin gets back. Surprise, motherfucker. Which is not sustainable, but we're just gonna do it anyway. We're just gonna take a month off, take a month off every month. Every time he's off, he's off too. Yeah, exactly. Well, no further ado. Yes, I want to introduce our lovely guest. Came in through the back though. Yeah, give it up for Brandon. Hip. Hippy hop hop hip. Hip hop hopamonus. Hip hop, hip hop anonymous. Hip hop anonymous hip hip hipotamus. Hippopotamus. Hip hop anonymous hopkins. Hopkins. Hopkins. There you go. That was pretty cool. It took a while.
SPEAKER_05It did take a while.
SPEAKER_03He's also Hibiscus Hopkins. Habis. Habiscus Hopkins. Or Bop for short. Or Bop. We'll just call him Bop. We call him Bop.
SPEAKER_06This is Alina's homeboy, right? Alina. So Alina has I thought that that was a nickname that they gave him. Yeah. So I was like, oh, that's a cool name. Cool nickname.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, there you go. Like fifth grade? Oh, no way. You know, the B from my first name, so you know Brandon, and then P you know for my last name. Yeah. I love it.
SPEAKER_03I love it too. X, you're a genius. You're always smart. Room's fangirling X right now. Relax, dude. Calm down, dude. Relax, dude. Calm down, dude. I'm a big fan of his. I was bumping his shit on my way home today. Nice day. I was like, he's a big fan. T homebody, she don't miss meals. That's why I was like, yeah, yeah, that's me. He's talking about me. He's talking about me. It's okay. He doesn't watch it.
SPEAKER_02Show him this episode. Every episode you say some stupid shit. I'm showing him. I'm a fan.
SPEAKER_04He's a big fan, dude.
SPEAKER_03He's a big supporter. I don't know about that. I don't know about that. I don't know about that. What's up, Bob? Welcome back. Welcome back. Longtime listener, first time.
SPEAKER_00I've been waiting for since episode one for this. Nice. Big supporter, huh? Yes. And also for those?
SPEAKER_03Yes, of course, dude. I remember when you were my height. When you were like fucking five years old, two or three years old. You were always taller than me, dude. Yeah. From birth, I don't think I've ever seen you not taller than me.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I always looked up to you, dude.
SPEAKER_03Dude, so uh introduce yourself to the world, to the peoples. This is gonna be on the internet forever.
SPEAKER_00I know, that's crazy. Um, I mean, when did we meet Alina?
SPEAKER_02Like uh I met him, I think I met him. Did I mean he used a sixth grade?
SPEAKER_00Something like that, because it was I met our barber, our friend. Yes. It's okay, dude. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. It's it's okay, dude. Fourth grade, uh X, eighth grade, maybe sixth grade, so you probably around the same time. Maybe but obviously, like I think it was sixth grade for sure. Your brothers have known my uncles and like your mom knew my mom or my grandma. Yeah, you know, they work from working together and everything. So we've basically been families since like forever. Yeah, it's been a while.
SPEAKER_03His uncle, by the way, is the football guy. The football guy. Shout out the football guy to Mr. Patrick Patrick Hanson Patless. Patrick Patlisson, handsome, handsome. Love you, buddy.
SPEAKER_00Pat Pat Hansen, even though I'm more handsome than him, but I missed that guy, it's true.
SPEAKER_03Right?
SPEAKER_06I mean, lately I want to say, yeah. Yeah, so good. He is the more handsome person. I agree.
SPEAKER_03I agree as well. Taller, Pat's gotta step it up, dude. I'm sorry, Pat, but I agree. He's just taller. He's got that taller body for sure. You're taller, you're you your your your boobs are man boobs. I am, dude. They're not real boobs. He's got he's got a real chest, not a real chest. He's gonna wear a bra, I don't know.
SPEAKER_04Fucking Pat's catching trays right now, dude. That's fucked up.
SPEAKER_03He's like, cool, dude, cool. Comes to hang with us.
SPEAKER_07The watcher this is gonna text me like, bro, really? Really?
SPEAKER_05Is our really nephew? Really? Really, dude? You just gonna let him talk to you about me like that? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I let you live with me.
SPEAKER_08Live in my house.
SPEAKER_03That's funny, though, dude. But yeah, shout out to Pat. Shout out to Mr. Pat. I love you, dude. We miss you, dude. We're gonna get him on here for the Pat Hansen. Pat Hansen, Patless, Pat Hansen, Hanson, Hanson, Howard, Hans. If you guys want him to. Well, yeah, we'll get him on here. Yeah, we'll get on.
SPEAKER_04You want him to do all that, but he's just gonna be here with his all of his clothes off, just him and his briefs and stuff. He just shows up and gets it done, dude. Yeah, it's all good, man.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, dude, we wanted to get Bob on here and having fun with this. It was uh his first year with us for Fantasy Football League last year. Yeah, and uh it was uh Hell yeah. It was a good bad year.
SPEAKER_02It was a good as years go. It was a year.
SPEAKER_00Um you know, laughter, like I really I thought he was gonna come with the thunder, dude. Dude, I like with school and just like work and life, like you text me like a week before the draft. Not even a week, you text me like a couple days before the drawing. A couple days before we need somebody. Are you in? Like draft is Sunday, and I was like, alright. And then that week, like I had work, and then the day of I was like, bro, I fucked up. Like I didn't do it any notes for that league. And then like in person, I like saw the list of players and I was like, my head just went blank. Like I'm just doing fantasy because I've done it with like uh homies and that, and then you know I've won in other leagues, and then like do it with you guys. I think it was just different doing like in person.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that's why it's in person, it's a whole nother thing. You have to have like a gotta be ready, game. Exactly.
SPEAKER_00And the way it's like organized is like great. Because like seeing like no other league does it like that. It's it's very rare, dude. Legit.
SPEAKER_03You come in this league, you think you're gonna be badass, and you drop Cam Akers in the second round like a like a dumbass. What a loser!
SPEAKER_04What a loser shout out to our our uh fantasy member, another fantasy member we have. Idiot.
SPEAKER_03Who also I think watches, I think he's watches. I don't think he watches. He said he's a sometimes. Sometimes, I guess. Maybe he'll watch because you're in the world. Yeah, you might make him. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Now that now that Bob's on, he's like, oh, all right. You were actually putting us on now. I know I'm gonna see if I get on the list.
SPEAKER_03But I'm just saying, dude, it's a learning curve. People underestimate the league just because it's just you know, it's another fantasy, whatever. But when it's there, the environment, how we actually do it. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Like it definitely.
SPEAKER_00Underestimating, I didn't underestimate it. I just I low key just like dropped the ball. Yeah, just wasn't expecting like all the what I uh I think the first couple of picks, like maybe four picks. I was just like, after that, I was not there for the first time.
SPEAKER_05You were like, you got it rolling after that. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Especially, especially didn't help because like my uncle Pat would like he kept picking everyone I had, which pissed me off even more because I was like, bro, there's no way. Like, and I showed him my notes, like we got uh we got back home and I texted him, like, dude, this is my notes, like this is who I wanted. Yeah, you know what I mean? And he was like, bro, that's everyone who I drafted. And I was like, I know, but I was picked for you, bro. Like you know, like in another league, I picked all those people and I got second. That's another league I won. So I was like, alright, cool. Like, I wouldn't even ended up winning.
SPEAKER_06You didn't have backups, I guess. That's what it seemed like, right?
SPEAKER_00I didn't have backups, and then like my starters were alright, you know what I mean? But like, you know, people trying to scam me, you know what I mean? Yeah, and I was like, bro, I'm not that stupid. Yeah, look, I did do stupid on draft, but I wasn't that stupid to trade like the good people.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, the people that you have who's clammy at the end. I like how that Travis Etienne pick came through for you, though. That was that was a really good pick. And then Chris Olave, too. Yeah, I think you had Chris Olave, right? Yeah, yeah, that was a good pick too. And then it's crazy because you just pick these people and you're like, you don't know if they're gonna do good or not. You don't see his name.
SPEAKER_00So Travis, I say Travis, uh usually every year I go with Travis and uh Roman Stevenson. Like any league.
SPEAKER_03And Ramanji came up at the end too. Kind of, yeah. That's kind of wild, dude.
SPEAKER_00And anyways, like those are just like, you know how it is, like every year you have the people who like no matter what, you're gonna draft them. Yeah, you're gonna pick them up. You know what I mean? Yeah. Those two are like always up for sure. Remanja might be like inconsistent, but yes.
SPEAKER_03This year though, you redeem yourself. Oh, yeah, for sure. You have to redeem yourself, I don't care how cool that trophy looks, dude. But it's good. You gotta make playoffs, dude. It's a nuts act, dude. At least playoffs. Yeah, at least playoffs. Playoffs are bust, dude. Get rid of the nuts actor. Yeah, I don't want it anymore. Mine, not the trophy. Yeah, he wants his own. I don't need another bag. I think I know what you meant. Yeah. Just make sure. Okay, I know exactly. That's great. Yeah, dude. But uh uh, yeah, but do you have any uh funny stories about Uncle Pat or growing up with that guy? He seems like a really good time. He likes to party, he likes to be. He likes to drink, likes to drink, he likes to drink. Drink to drink with us. With us. Without us. Without us, too. Near us. I guess he eats pizza to us. He's like a ninja turtle. He's a turtle, you know?
SPEAKER_04Just not athletic as the ninja turtle. He wants to be wants to be wants to be used. He was out there running rounds.
SPEAKER_00Oh shit.
SPEAKER_03He was like Jeremy Shockey, dude. He was he was Jeremy Shockey at the city hall.
SPEAKER_00I know, I mean I hear stories, but not anymore. If he tried any of that, he's breaking something. Yeah, something's falling off. It's falling off.
SPEAKER_04Dude, the other day, there's one time where he was doing the he was doing like the the offensive line moves. Oh, yeah. One time, dude. He's like, check this out. It was pretty good when he gets like damn. I was like, damn, dude, how come they haven't signed you yet? That's crazy. This guy still got it. He rips, dude.
SPEAKER_03He's I mean the footwork down, that's for sure. Oh yeah, for sure. Footwork is down. Footwork is there.
SPEAKER_08You know, like we're just dissing it.
SPEAKER_03I think he struggles with the right now. Um it's just the follow-up.
SPEAKER_00Growing up as his nephew, like, uh.
SPEAKER_03Was it big shoes to fill? No, uh, not enough, like bigger chairs. Wait bigger shoes. I just want the world to see this real quick.
SPEAKER_00That's almost sitting down. Uh um last time I measured myself I was 6'10. I'm pretty sure I fucking uh pretty sure I grew in it by then, so I might be 6'11. What the fuck are you still growing, dude? Dude, I hope I'm done. Like since I started, no, you should be done, bro. I know, I fuck I hope I'm done, but since I started like lifting seriously and everything, like I'm pretty sure I grew since then. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_03You just got so much testosterone in your body, dude.
SPEAKER_05It's it's it's just like a long time what does Rob say? Big old dick.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, dude, big old dick.
SPEAKER_08He's not even drunk yet, and like as soon as I see him, he's like, bro, like I just want to fuck you. That's what I'm doing. Like, I'm just gonna do it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. That means it's my height.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, no, yeah. I'm like, dude, what? Like dude's good, bro.
SPEAKER_07Oh, that means he likes you, dude.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, exactly. He's a big fan, he's a big fan of yours.
SPEAKER_08Definitely, you know, I'm like, alright, but I'm not into that.
SPEAKER_03Well, we we salute you, dude.
SPEAKER_00Showing you.
SPEAKER_05Well, any any yeah, but going back to the stories. I know, yeah. Yeah, yeah, I know. We get sidetracked.
SPEAKER_00Sorry, sorry, sorry, dude. I'd say like, because we're I mean, we're not that far off in age. We're probably like 10 years apart, maybe. Like, that's pretty far. Well, yeah, but like it could have been worse. Yeah, exactly. I don't know. It's fairly.
SPEAKER_06I think it's like 12 or something. What are you, 23?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'll be 24 this year. Oh, okay, yeah, yeah. I mean, you know, that's pushing for it. So like it's a it's a gap, but it's not like um we were obviously into this a lot of the same sports. Like my dad had me in uh football, basketball, and then I hit him like a girls for, and then I was just in like basketball, volleyball, and then water polo, you know? So it's like a lot of times like he like if my if my dad wasn't there coaching me, like he was there coaching me. Oh, that's it.
SPEAKER_06That's cool. Yeah, like then he wasn't getting kicked out, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00But like, yeah, no, like and like a lot of like why I like sports now, like at first it was because of my dad, but then a lot of times it'd be like you know, my dad and then like uncle Pat. You know what I mean? So like it wasn't always just like my dad, or it wasn't just always just like him, you know what I mean? It's like both. But like it, you know, obviously it had its moments. I mean, like no one's like like perfect, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah. And like I wouldn't say, you know, we wouldn't be here if we were perfect. So it's like it had its moments, like, you know, between like him taking us to school in like sixth grade, or like you know, like me now, Uncle Duty being able to, you know, uh exactly me now being able to like beat his ass in a 1v1. He won't admit it, right? Like, I'm not gonna tell that story, you know what I mean? Like uh mom or grandma loves that story, but like I'm not gonna tell that story, you know what I mean? You know, uh I'll swear on that those details, but like um you know like it's been great, and like even now, like we both like are just there for each other, but let's like it's crazy because like I think my experience is like taking care of like grandma or like you know, our mom, like yeah, but like made it to where it's more like a brotherhood now. Yeah, that's good. Like, yeah, it's like don't give me, I still respect him as my uncle, but it's more like uh a brotherhood. Yeah, yeah. Hell yeah, that's cool, man.
SPEAKER_03Shout out to Pat still answered it. All right, Uncle Pat. I fucking love it, man. That's awesome. See those little things right there, that's what I'm talking about. Yeah, that's what makes it fucking special. Anyways, your brothers, dude. Yeah, that's that's the way you see it, man. That's cool. But yeah, other than that, man, I just uh, you know, obviously Pat, why we talk about him a lot and because we love him. And when when you started really coming, I mean he always came around, but now he comes around even more. Yeah, right? I think.
SPEAKER_00Because like, yeah, like I'm busy, you know what I mean? Like, and that's always been like you know what I mean, and like that's always been the thing because it's like as like you know, as we're friends, you know, me, uh, Dinah, Alex, and then like we're like, yeah, like we're we're all busy and we're all adults, but it's never any like great, like he's too busy for us. It's like no, like we're too busy like because we're adults, yeah. You know what I mean? So it's never been like bad blood, but now that's like now that I'm at that position with like school and work, I'm like I want to try and come around. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? Like we're all we're all friends, we're all family. Yeah, yeah. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03Like, yeah, and dude, now that he's part of the league, he'll be here a lot more. Yeah, and feel free to come whenever, dude. Like it's high and shit. You guys could use him to pool. Oh, yeah. You guys you could sleep in my bed, dude. I don't care. You can lay down with me. Can I be a little spoon? Or well, I mean, I don't know if you're fit gonna fit. Like your legs are just gonna run off, you know. And I'm like by the wall, so it's just gonna hit the wall. I don't know if you're gonna be comfortable.
SPEAKER_06He's all like this with his neck now.
SPEAKER_03But you can have it, dude. You can stay. Yeah, it's always here for you. I got a I got a couple questions for you. What what is the commonly question that you get walking around in the streets?
SPEAKER_00That's just funny, bro. Like, I don't know.
SPEAKER_03How many, how many, how many of like how's the weather out there, you know?
SPEAKER_00I'd say since I was like 14, 15 years old, I like I don't go a day without getting asked like how tall I am. If I play uh sports, you know, why aren't I in the NBA? Because I guess it's that easy to fucking make the NBA. I guess it's easy, yeah, because it's that simple, huh? Exactly. You know what I mean? Or like um if I play like basketball or if I play any sports, and like obviously it's like I grew up playing sports, or you know, I'm you know, I already said my high. And it's like sometimes people are cool with it, other times people are like, oh yeah, if I had your high, I'd be in the NBA. It's like no you wouldn't. You would not, bro. It's not that you don't just walk onto a tour like a college and NBA. You know what I mean? And it's like I I grew like in a year. Yeah, you know what I mean? Like just started eighth grade, I was five three, five, four, and eighth grade, I'm six two. Damn, that's crazy. Like, you know, exactly.
SPEAKER_03Another question I was gonna ask him was there ever a time you hit five six and then said yeah, and then yeah. But I don't think so. I don't know, maybe.
SPEAKER_00No, like that's what's crazy because like sophomore year I was six two, and then the doctor's like, yeah, you're gonna be six three, then you're done. Like, and then the doctor's like, oh by the way, like I wasn't getting my physical done for sports, and the doctor's like, oh by the way, you might have like a serious heart condition, so I had to get tested for a bunch of stuff, and they're like, Yeah, because your sudden growth, like and like your elongated fingers, your like concave chest, and like your feet, like you might have a serious heart condition, so you know you might die by the time you're like 30. My dad's like, yeah, my dad like looks I mean it was probably like a little bit later, like 35, but still my dad looks at me like, bro, what? Like, yeah, you know what I mean? Looks at me and the doctor, he's like, nah, like you know, my I mean my dad's like, dude, I can't like outlive my son. Like, yeah, but like obviously I go to the tasting, yeah, and they're like, Oh no, you're good, like you'll just stop growing past 6'3, but obviously, like that doctor should not be a doctor. I kept growing. Dude, how are you gonna tell somebody that's wild?
SPEAKER_03On WebND and shit. Yeah, I know. He just looked it up on web and he's like, all right, yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_00According to this TikTok I saw, I was like, bro, yeah. Thankfully, it was a time before that. So I was just like, dude, looking back on him, like, you should not have told me that. Piece of crap going through puberty, like trying to figure out life, and then you just tell me how you die in 15 months.
SPEAKER_03Like, nah. He's like, You might low key be.
SPEAKER_05Time to party.
SPEAKER_03He's like, you low key have a heart condition. Low key, man. Low key, bro. I just want to play sports. Oh god. Don't mean to sound cringe right now, but you might literally be dead. I'm dead, but you might literally be dead. And that's no cap.
SPEAKER_04And I'm dead telling you this.
SPEAKER_03And I'm dead ass right now.
SPEAKER_04Dead ass right now.
SPEAKER_03He told you like that, dude. I think he had one airpod in. I'm gonna hit you with one. I'm gonna hit you with some facts right now, man. Straight facts. Straight facts, dude. No cap. But then he tells you, dude. On god, bro. On god, bro.
unknownOh shit.
SPEAKER_03On god for real, for real, man.
SPEAKER_04Barely 35 plus.
SPEAKER_03Maybe. Tops. Maybe tops, dude. Maybe tops, dude. No kizzy. Oh, but yeah. No kids. No kizzy, dude. Alright, so so it's the most common thing. But I I mean it's gotta be annoying, right? I mean, like, but then again, it's like it comes with the territory. Comes with the territory.
SPEAKER_00You know what I mean? Like, at first, like, obviously, like I'm a teenager, like, we all were teenagers at one point. Like at first, I was like, dude, like, why is everyone staring at me? You know, nice. But like, you know, I was like, great, like, this is like at first it kind of made me say here, not gonna lie, but now I'm like, depending on how it is, like when people are like, oh yeah, dude, if I had your high, I'd be in the NBA, like shit, like you're not doing shit, bro. You're five four, like, you know what I mean? Like, if you had suddenly had my height, you wouldn't be, you know, you'd be in the same position. But it's like there's some people who are like sweet with it. Like, I've met like older women who are like, oh yeah, like my husband is super tall too, and like you know, he just passed away last year, like, so thank you for like you're you know, like talking to me about him. Yeah, like there's some people who are just like dude, like, oh like you're really tall, and like I'll talk to him, and they're like, Oh, thank you for talking to me today. Like, I needed that, you know what I mean? Like, I was really happy today. So it's like you know, it's it's a very good like conversation starter, you know what I mean? Especially when like when it's like harder for me to like to start talking to someone, like it's a great conversation starter, or like you know, like little kids will be like, oh mommy, like I want to be that tall, or like it's like stuff like that. That's cool. And like I realized, like, I don't know, like just go with the flow, like I can't change it, so why should I set up like people talking about it? You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03Like honestly, rather be tall than short, bro, for real.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like no, we both have the problem though, like you can't go on roller coasters, I can't go on roller coasters.
SPEAKER_03I've never been on a roller coaster in my life, dude. Is that true though? What's the cap? Yeah, bro, like I can't limit, like they stop you at what certain rides?
SPEAKER_00Like six, seven, six, eight, something like that. Once I got past that height, they were like, like I was trying to go on rides at nuts, and I'm like, yeah, bro, you can't go on accelerator right now, like you're gonna die. You'll be decapitated. I don't feel like yeah, like I don't really feel like you know, snapping my neck. So I'd say probably a year or two ago now, I was gonna go to Six Lags with some homies, and like my homie called Six Lags, and I was like, Oh, can my like can my homie go? Oh, like can he go? They're like, Oh, like how tall is he? Like, why are you asking us that? Yeah, he's like, Oh, he's six ten. They're like, No, like we won't even let him in the park.
SPEAKER_04No way, oh wow, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_00That's why I'm sorry. I mean, I love roller coasters, don't even so it does kind of suck, but it's again, like, all that's expensive. So I'm like, oh no, like I can't go, you know. Looks like I'll just save my money. Oh no, you know, yeah. So it's like wow.
SPEAKER_06That's crazy though. I didn't know that that makes sense though, because you know, you gotta have a height limit. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_03Like going you can't get chicks falling in love with you every time they see you and be on roller coasters too, bro. Yeah, that's true. It's a give a take. Are you are you gonna choose one? Yeah, you are so congratulations. Keep it like that, dude. Keep it like that, dude.
SPEAKER_00It's just one of those because like I mean, I go to school full time and I work like more than full time. So like the way I see it, like, you know, unless like someone special comes along, it's like I don't really feel if I barely have time for myself, like I don't feel like it's right for me to like time to someone else. Yeah, yeah. Because that's just messed up. Like you can't really waste people's like another human's time like that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_00You know, I mean I'm not gonna be like, though, you're trying to get your shit together. Exactly. That's good.
SPEAKER_06And you're young as fuck, too. So that's good.
SPEAKER_03You see how he carries himself? Yeah, obviously tall, but he also carries himself so well, dude, with grace. I can hear it in his voice, bro. That's really cool. Teach me. You're fucking you're fucking hot, dude. You're hot, dude. I want you, dude. You're super tall. Oh no, yeah, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Ruben's getting gay again, dude. What the fuck is that? You can only say one gay thing at a time. Yeah, so that's it.
SPEAKER_02It's like his corner. It's Rub's corner. It's like looking at Bob.
SPEAKER_03Best Christmas present ever.
SPEAKER_00Rub came in with a box of tissues and I loaded in earlier.
SPEAKER_07I want to next to me, right?
SPEAKER_03So next to me. What are you into, man? What are you into? What are you into, bro? No, dude. But that's that's dope, dude. But yeah, alright. So we we talked about Pat. We talked about him being our new member, which is he's gonna redeem himself. I know he will. I will, I will. This year, you have to redeem yourself, sir. And he's gonna do well. Even if you need some help, man. You can always ask for help, you know. Oh, man. Yeah, exactly. I barely won, but I won it. Yeah. This is uh you're sitting in the room of champions. It was last place, dude. Almost last place. I won. I lost my way to the playoffs, made it, then I won the whole thing. That was that was the greatest day. That was the best. The greatest day. It was the greatest day of my life. Greatest day ever. So we talk about Pat, you know, tell you about things. Oh, Alina, you got any fond, cool, awesome memories with with with Ploppers.
SPEAKER_02I know we went to the park one time. Yeah. Uh that was cool. That was one night because I was I think I was like, that was my first time I discovered my curfew. So I was like, dude, I gotta be home at this time. My mom wants me home, and I think you walked me home. Yeah, my mom made uh made sure like I walked you home and I remember a couple of times we would get would kick it in your garage and we drink. Wow. In his garage?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I was drinking that garage as well.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you know, that's what's crazy. Wow, full circle. We're at least responsible with it. You know, we haven't been drinking that or responsible with it. Yeah, you know.
SPEAKER_02No, yeah, I have a video of our homie freaking shotgunny a beer and he's like, Oh yeah. How old were you guys?
SPEAKER_00This was at least high high school.
SPEAKER_02We were probably like, I don't know, I think we were like 14. Yeah, it was like throughout high school, you know.
SPEAKER_00This is new to us. Oh wow. But like there it is, it was cool because it was like uh I would just tell my grandparents, like, because I think it was I was like no, I was I moved in with them, or you know, I was still with uh like living in the area or whatever, but I would just ask my grandparents like, hey, can we hang out in the garage? And then they would be like, Yeah, like we'd rather you be here than like out somewhere else. Yeah, like they were like thinking about it. Yeah, exactly. You know, like I was just honest with my grandparents when I hang in with them, and that's all they really cared about. And like I would tell them and they're like, Yeah, but like you guys gotta because like obviously they knew Alina and like your mom, so they're like yeah, you just gotta make sure she's safe, you know what I mean? Like, yeah. So like my mom would like yell at all of us, you know, and be like, or my grandma would yell at all of us and be like, yeah, make sure she gets home safe, and like I'd rather she's safe before you guys get home safe. Like, yeah, shit, you know what I mean? Like, you know what I mean? And like we all knew it, because like she'd go, like, you know, uh one of our other homies lives a couple houses down from us, so she's like, I know where you live, like, I'll go yell at your parents, or like I'll go knock on your door. You know, she wasn't afraid to do that, you know. You guys, you know, remember how she was? Yeah, like sweet lady, but she'd tell like you know, she'd yell at all of us, all of us be like, all right, you guys better make sure like you take care of her, but also take care of each other.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, of course, of course.
SPEAKER_00Dang, I forgot about all that. We've done enough, we've done it here too. So it's mom's gonna watch this shit. She's gonna be like, You're fricked.
SPEAKER_03You know what she was doing? You know what your mom was doing when she was your age? Yeah, 14 years old. So she should be able to do that. She was in gangs, she was in gangs, she was fighting girls, drinks at people, workers and shit, punching chicks that touched your man. She stabbed someone. I don't know. She stabbed someone. Allegedly. Allegedly. Allegedly. Allegedly, allegedly.
SPEAKER_02She got the three dots in the third body.
SPEAKER_06She was getting three dots at freaking your age. At that age, 15 years old, getting three dots.
SPEAKER_03Some alleyway. And some alley. She was dating some down ass fool. She was dating some down asshol. Literally the down ass fool. Literally the down ass fool she could find.
SPEAKER_00She might never want to pop on the on the pot again.
SPEAKER_03But what I think about pop, I think about something pretty cool. Um, it was uh, it was, I forgot, I think it was for Alina's party. Yeah. And we, you know, we do a big for Alina's birthday, you know. It's her sister. We love her, right? But we we do a big for Alina. We always get I bring out my sister, my two speakers, a sub, and I DJ for her when whenever she needs it, and we try to get a bartender or whatever. Yeah, of course. Yeah, we always have to do all that. And um, I always bring out the Okie. Yeah. Oh, this was this past year, right? Yes. So when I think about Bob, I think about Bob coming over and jumping on the karaoke. Oh, and the song he chose, I was just like, How the fuck are you gonna do that song? I was like, Alright, I'll type it in. So I did it. You know what it was? What's that? Miss Jackson. Oh, I'm like, how? And he fucking every lyric, and I'm like, what the five?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, give me like a drink or two, and I'm you know, bar well, not bar for bar, but you know what I mean? Like there's a few words I can't say. It was amazing. You know, that's much everyone wanted me to say that word, you know. There's a few words I can't say, you know?
SPEAKER_03Couple words, dude.
SPEAKER_00Just like I looked at Rube after and I like literally like Micro Even your dad was like, what?
SPEAKER_03You know, like dude, uh it might okay. Obviously, okay, full disclosure. I can't read that good. In case the glass giving away, you know, uh you don't say let alone let alone fucking keep up with a fucking karaoke. Going like that. My man is a mad fan, you know, all that shit. You know, I was like, I couldn't do it.
SPEAKER_00Well, it was because it was X and um our other homie, like they were unsure if they wanted to even karaoke. Oh, try it. Yeah, and I was like, bro, you guys just gotta do it. Like, you've already been drinking, like, and who cares, bro? Yeah, I love the way I see it, like who gives you like nobody's gonna talk. It's just you're all around your your peers, basically. Exactly. Yeah, like they're like, all right, like you first, and then I'll do it. I was like, all right, you talk to the wrong guy, like I don't care, bro. Like, I'm oh no, I gotta sing a song and have a good time, you know. So I was like, all right, cool, I'll do it. Then you gotta do it, do it next, because like Alina wants you to go up there, you know what I mean? And then I told our other homie, I was like, then you gotta go up there too. Like, you brought your girl, and if not, like I'll do it with you. Yeah, and I think I did end up do a wedding with them or something, and then he was like, I did it, and they're like, dude, we didn't think you're serious. Now we gotta do it. We're there like I forgot, like, you know what it's like drinking with you because you're actually gonna do that. Yeah, bro. Like, you know. So it was nah, it was a great time, like, like always, you know. Were you were you guys there? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you guys were there for that?
SPEAKER_03Oh, that was I was at the bar. The dopest shit I've ever seen. I don't remember him singing that song. No, yeah, everybody being mad. I looked at I looked at my homegirl and this. She was like that. She was bartending and shit. She was just like, oh shit.
SPEAKER_08I didn't see that coming either.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I remember I asked you to queue it up and you're like, Are you are you sure? Yeah, I wouldn't have got sure, bro.
SPEAKER_04You were like, hell yeah, run that shit, motherfucker. Come on, bro.
SPEAKER_03Yo, the beer's in, dude. I'm there's the coolest thing, and I was just like, this guy for sure is in. Yeah. And and and that was like when we like, yeah, he's he's gonna be in our fans. Yeah, that was right out. And then I was just like, and then we passed the test. You know what, man? You know what? That was the real test right there. Exactly.
SPEAKER_00Because like I remember like that day when I showed up, you guys were like, hey, like, Amir, I'll secret it. And I was like, bro, that I'm about to get Diddy. Like, cool, man. You know, how you called me into a corner, and I was like, We thought about it.
SPEAKER_05We thought about it. We thought about jumping in.
SPEAKER_00It was a little weird your dad was there, but alright. Wanted to watch, cool. But like that was like this is the whole this the four here? Come down here, come down here. One of my dad was like this. Yeah, you know, literally he was. He's like, I don't remember you being this tall last time, and I was like, I wasn't. Definitely was not. Yeah, and like you guys were like, Oh, okay, like this, this is this, this, and that, like, this is the league. Like, we'll uh we'll test you. Or like, I think you literally were like, Oh, we'll jump you in. I was like, all right, you know, all right, cool, like that's what we'll do, you know. And then like, you know, a couple months ago by and I was like, Wait, what was the test? Like, you know what I mean? All right, cool, but now finding out, like, that's funny.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, the the test that I give people is just like off the top of your head, right here, right now, who are the top three uh quarterbacks? Or like it'll be every every position. Every position, I'll be like, as far as like fantasy-wise or whatever, or what you think, just to see how fast and how quick you can be like, oh, this guy, or because some you'd be believe it or not, people will go like, oh, what was that guy's name? Um, and I'm like, you're not in this. Yeah, it's just like you gotta know the players.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like I'll talk to people and they're like, yeah, like I'm a fan of like sports, and like I'm like, all right, what's sports? And like, oh, like football. Alright, cool, who's your favorite player? And like obviously gonna name like the most popular. I'm like, bro, what? Like, bro, like you know what I mean? Like if you say you're betting or you like you do fantasy, you gotta be able to name like the bench warmers, or yeah, I mean the backups to like the backups, you know. Somebody guys up there, you gotta know the centers out there, yeah. At least who know who's protecting them. Yeah, like you know what I mean. Like, so I don't know, like it was crazy because like I was see, I didn't get that. Yeah, you know what I mean? Like, I was like, you said that right now, and I was like, what? Like, yeah.
SPEAKER_03So yeah, I never told him because I was like, this guy's in. Fucking dude, he's in, he's in, he's in. That was amazing. No questions. That was amazing.
SPEAKER_05He was amazed by Miss Jackson performance. She was fine.
SPEAKER_03It's like he thought he thought Android 3000 was actually here. Quick with it, dog. We gotta do it again. It's gonna be great. It's gonna be that's funny, man. But yeah, I when I when I think about you, I think about that moment because it's it's such a great moment because it was a moment of doubt on my end, but it was also like a smack in my face. Like, never doubt this man.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know who his uncle is, dude? Yeah, you know who his uncle is? Dude, that his uncle fucks, dude.
SPEAKER_03You guys remember the pet dance, dude? Dude, the pat dance? Legendary legendary. Have you seen the Pat Dance, dude? Better than Pat.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I've seen uh I've seen him dance. I don't know if it's like you know what I mean. I don't know if this I'm sure I know the Pat dance is a shoulder. Like it's scene, yeah. It's him having a stroke. Does he have to do that? I like to call it the robot because it looks like he's doing the robot. Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_05It's fucking no movement, it's all stiff. Looks like he's doing the dishes, dude. Like from far away.
SPEAKER_03Like he'll do that, right?
SPEAKER_00He'll start blasting music, and then he starts getting into like there's levels of drunkenness for him, and it's so funny. Yes, there is. Once you know he'll even get like Java level drunk. Oh shit.
SPEAKER_08Oh yeah. I know what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. We all get there, you know? Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Jared.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, Jar, huh? That's right.
SPEAKER_00I love Jar.
SPEAKER_08I was surprised.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like that was cool though.
SPEAKER_03Like, rare sighting, huh? It's a rare ass sighting of Jared. It's a rare sighting, bro.
SPEAKER_00Not in a bad way, obviously, but like I was like, whoa, like I definitely gotta watch that, you know. Lil Ken doll, but Lil' Ken doll.
SPEAKER_08It was good to see him, man. I miss that guy.
SPEAKER_03He's so cute. He's like a puppy. Yeah, I wanna hold him. Take him home. He's like a little puppy. Take him home and forget to feed him, dude. Have you have you witnessed uh zombie jerk? Zombie Jerry. I'm taking care of zombie jer. Zombie. Zombie, and he tries to bite you.
SPEAKER_07He trusted you a lot more than that.
SPEAKER_03But I like to pinch his nose. He likes that. And I'll rub his belly and he goes to sleep. He goes, dude, thanks, dude. Thanks, dude. Knock the fuck out.
SPEAKER_07That's how he, you know, that's how he had his daughter.
SPEAKER_03Yo, dude. But yeah, uh, did anyone uh Alan, you have a you have a special memory with Bob? Anything cool you want to talk about? Um no, not really. We've hung out maybe like a handful of times, but yeah. I mean, it's kind of just like you know, we didn't have like one-on-one moments, you know. But I I would I mean we talk though, like we talk a lot, we talk probably the most. Yeah, I would say so. I would say I talked to him more than he keeps the everybody out there.
SPEAKER_04He keeps the uh Mofos chat active, though.
SPEAKER_00Yes, he does. Yeah, so sometimes I'm like, damn, I'm probably like annoying these fools, but then I'm like, nah, like you're you know, like one of you would have. You at least would have been like, dude, shut up. Like you know, that's always how you've been, like, not in a bad way, just like you're just blunt, you know?
SPEAKER_03Telling you though at this time, the the the chat that we have for the fantasy league is is dead. It's just dead. Yeah, and this is probably the most active I've ever seen. But it's because of but it's because you took the risk and then you took the and I took the I was drunk with restraints that shit. Like, oh yeah, no way.
SPEAKER_00I was drinking at a uh I was at a brewery watching the Olympics, and like we were talking about that shit, and he was like, Oh, strike the and I was like, fuck this, and I like sent that message, and he was like, you know what? Bob's got a point now. Okay, I guess I do, like, you know, like it was fun though, put it to a vote.
SPEAKER_05Strikes though. It was great though it was fun throwing strikes. Oh yeah, no, it was bad fun idea.
SPEAKER_00I like our little hidden words. Yeah, a lot of times, like I would just do it just to like piss him off. You know, I was just bored, I was like, alright, I'm gonna piss a room real quick. Or like one of the other guys like text me on the side and be like, dude, let's just do it, like fuck with him right now. It's like, alright, cool. Like he's just like, I'm bored at working now, let's fuck with like and I was like, alright, cool. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03Like, it's so great though, man. The chat is good. Chat is active, it's active, and it's it's all thanks to you, man. We need some young energy too.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and like it keeps us because everyone thought I was like around, you know, everyone thought I was at least around your age, you know. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like, I have a they were like, dude, I have a brother your age, or like I have a you know, like one of my daughters is almost your age. I'm like, dude, like I don't know what to tell you. That's how it is.
SPEAKER_04We we have all ages, dude. We don't we don't discriminate.
SPEAKER_03We don't discriminate. We don't we need players, dude. We need people players dedicated people that are down to pull up every year, that's it. Yeah, dude. And I I gotta start, you know, refreshing and hitting people up before draft time and say, all right, draft days around the corner. Yeah, yeah. Are we still in? Who wants out? Who's not gonna make it? And then I gotta start making the first announcements of when I want to do our draft. Oh, yeah, it's getting closer. That's getting closer to it. It's getting closer. You gotta get ready for it. But just always know it's always in August. It's always always gonna be in August. Always in August. Always August, bro. Towards the end of August. One thing, one thing I actually uh that we connected on was uh was we both listened to West Side Gun. So nice. Oh, that's right. We recently sent each other like stupid reels that people made. It's funny though. Those are hilarious, man. Yeah, that's just that's cool. That's exciting for me because I I had nobody else talked to about that. Yeah, besides me. I feel like it's just me and him, that listen to it. It really is. Or me and Alvin, even Albin though. Alvin does too, but yes, that is very true.
SPEAKER_00I think well, because my uncle Rob, which I think you're you're you went to school with him, right? Or you went to school with my older brother.
SPEAKER_03Um I'm around the same age, but like exactly.
SPEAKER_00That's like he got me into like all the like older music, you know what I mean? So it's like I love all types of music, but like he got me into all that. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that's dope. Yeah, I think I talked to we I mean, why um yeah, I talked to him a few a lot a bunch of times too. So yeah, we talked about music a few times. But yeah, that's good. I'm trying to remember. You're big on that. You're but you're big on hip hop in the yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like I'd say um that's probably my biggest or next to like rock, but like rap, hip hop I love the most just because like I don't know, there's just like a lot of music nowadays, it's just like you know, it's not as good, you know, they make it like that anymore. But yeah, I'd say like rap and hip hop is probably one of my biggest, like I feel like I love listening to all types of it, like especially this year. I'm going to like a couple of concerts and stuff like that. No, hey, where are you going to? Dude, I just got Kanye tickets to go Friday. Oh shit.
SPEAKER_03Hopefully, hopefully it's a good show. We saw Kanye. Yeah, we saw Kanye at Made in America. Yeah, that shit was pretty dope. But like when I saw him, it was dope, dude. Yeah, he has good performances, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like obviously, like all scandal, like BS aside, like I love like Kanye. You know, like I love all that, and like I love his music, and like I've been wanting to see him, especially before like he goes crazy again. Or you know what I mean? Like or like yeah before he gets cancelled again, or you know, whatever, you know, or before he stops touring. So I was like, dude, like I got off work and I was like, Alright, I'm just gonna get these tickets, like F it, you know? Yeah. And then I got so I got him Friday, then I got J. Cole later this year, which I'm pretty happy about this. Nice. I think I seen J.
SPEAKER_06Cole at Rock the Bells one year when uh Born Sinner came out. Yeah. So I was able to see him before the dreads and all that shit. So that was pretty cool. Yeah, like I saw him our good performer too.
SPEAKER_00So 2018, maybe? Yeah, 2018. Oh, yeah. Like after KOD. Yeah, exactly. Oh dupe. Like after KOD. That's dope.
SPEAKER_04No, after KOD, no way.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's exactly brought out Jaden Jaden Smith and uh Young Thug like headline for him. Oh my grandpa got me tickets, and I was like, alright.
SPEAKER_02But you guys were close as fuck. Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_00We were like, we were like rows. Uh you know what I mean? So that was like that was a great experience. You know, that's tight. He's good too, man. He's really good live. Really good live. No, he's a great like live. I fuck with that foo. And you know, this is his last album, so it's like, dude, this might be his last tour, like himself. Yeah. So I was like, dude, I need to like go. And then like I got Kid Cuddy tickets. Oh, sick. You know, last year after he broke his foot, he was like, Oh, I'm retiring from music. No way. Kid Cuddy? Yeah. He retires like every year. Oh, yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_03So I'm like, all right, like it's either hero or it's like he gets all sad and always retiring, dude. Yeah, exactly. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00It's just like Brady. It's like, you know, you know what I'm saying? Can't break up with that shit. It's you can't. It's always gonna be inevitable, dude. Yes. Exactly. So I was like, you know, I need to buy tickets to him, because if this might be his last one, then alright, like, you know, he might not headline again. Yeah. You know what I mean? So I was like him and then ASAP. So it was pretty good. Oh, you got ASAP tickets? Yeah, because I've got all of them before except for Kanye, but like I've only seen ASAP and Kid Cuddy at like festivals.
SPEAKER_06Uh yeah, concerts. So it's like I've seen Kid Cuddy at Coachella. Yeah, I saw him at uh Smokers Club, like Smokers Club was dope when they did it at fucking Santa Ana. Yeah, yeah. I think we went one, I think I went one time. Yeah. Observatory.
SPEAKER_00I went at the Glen Helen Amphitheater. It was cool because like I saw Earl, I saw Boy Q. Yeah, so it was nice. But and obviously Kikati and um ASAP. So like it was great, and like it was like it's you know a lot of like lesser-known artists, but like I wouldn't do it again, but you know, like it was cool. It's tiring, bro.
SPEAKER_03Like the festivals, dude. The festivals are a lot of them. Bob goes out, bro. Bob's stuff, dude. Holy shit. Yeah, single man, dude. Dope as fuck, bro. Free life, dude. That's fucking fire, bro. He deserves it. He's like your hard ass worker. Dude, he works so fucking hard. You know, he was supposed to be here two weeks ago. Oh, yeah, yeah, but but but like we're just like work and everything. So do your thing, bro. Whenever we whenever I'll go to a concert, dude, you're the first person I'm gonna hit at, dude.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, bro. I love concerts. Like, if I see someone I like, or even if it's someone I want to get into, like, I'll buy the tickets. Yeah, I'll try, you know what I mean? Like, cause I mean, it's music, bro. Like, I just love all types of music. Like to me, like, music is like therapy. Yeah, like you can likewise, exactly, bro. Like, it's just I don't know, there's so many different things like you could do with music and so on, like, genres. Like, it's crazy. Like, it's like one of my top artists on Spotify 20, because like my top artists will be like J. Cole, you know, uh Suicide Boys, and then like Fake Sinatra. And it's like, what the fuck? You know what I mean? Like, those aren't like you know similar genres at all, but it's like it's crazy, bro. Like it's gonna have like a mix of things. Yeah, bro.
SPEAKER_06That's how we are. We all know like a bunch of different shit. Plithra of the genre. We know stuff from like stuff that our our parents uh showed us, yeah, stuff that we learned from like our friends, our circles, yeah, stuff that like fucking from Rob, and then stuff that like it's just everywhere, yeah, and then newer stuff and Spanish songs, newer shit too, like always like finding new stuff.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, man. Yeah, do you have any special memories when you think about Bob or anything?
SPEAKER_06I think there was one time where we had like we we were having like a one-on-one conversation about music, dude. Yeah, yeah. So like me and him, I think uh there was like one time we were all kicking in the back. Yeah, and like it was like X was over, and then you know, all the all their friends and stuff. Yeah, so I was just being unk and just chilling. Yeah, we got like drinking and shit. After high school or during the school, yeah, it was like after high school, I think.
SPEAKER_03Oh nice, you know. You guys had a nice like little summer vacation. I think like that summer was when you guys were coming over, yeah. That's true.
SPEAKER_00Because COVID, obviously, and everything happened, and like it was dope, it was cool, like just because that was before like adult life happened.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like things were simple, a little simpler.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you know, yeah, like no more bills and that. Yeah, like we would just like she would be like, Oh, you guys like come over. I'm like, yeah, like we're not doing anything else, but yeah, home, you know what I mean? And like obviously come swim or whatever. And you guys, you know, we're all being safe during that time. So like it was just nice because like, oh crap, like we can actually have fun, we can enjoy ourselves, you know what I mean. So you know what I mean? Like we're being safe with what we're doing, but you know what I mean? Of course, so it was great, and like it was a nice summer, you know what I mean? Like, and it's like one of those things like damn, that was fun. Like, I'll see like the memories or like I'll go through my camera roll and I'll see like the videos and like photos and that or like someone throwing up or someone like damn. Like, thank god that wasn't me.
SPEAKER_02Oh, who do you have throwing up?
SPEAKER_03Uh oh no. I don't even know if don't put them up. Yeah, put it later. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_02Show me later, we'll extend we'll exchange videos. I don't throw up, you know.
SPEAKER_03I throw up everywhere, dude.
SPEAKER_06There was one time, there was one time where where one of uh one of another guys your another friend of you guys was like pretty hammered and like he was talking about like some some maybe like remember that time?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, maybe the same for yeah it was back here. I remember even like I think even he was all sad and shit.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, you were like trying to check up, dude.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because like he got like he started getting aggressive, and I was like, bro, you need to calm, like you need to calm the fuck down. Like don't be disrespecting the pad like that. Yeah, bro. He's like, we can go right now, bro. Like we can wrestle right now. And I was like, Alright, like, all right, bro. You know what the fuck was this? This was a while back, dude. Like after high school like around high school. You were like working or something, you came out, you came towards the end of the night, and then like your mom told you because even like that's how I knew it was bad because even your mom was fed up.
SPEAKER_03Oh, she yelled she yelled at me and my brother, Alvin. Was that was it that one time or no? I think that was a different time. A different time? I think just Aton was there. That wasn't there, probably were inside or something, you know something.
SPEAKER_00I was just like, but because I was just like, bro, like you're even pissing off mom, like you can't be doing you know what I mean. Like funny, man. I think he got so fucked up, like he started hitting his head on the table. Like, I think that's the video I have. I was like, bro, what are you doing? Like, what drink makes you do that? You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03Wait, was that? Yeah, it was, yeah. He skated over here, yeah. Yeah, I think so, right?
SPEAKER_02Like, who are you talking to? And then you said a hit on the table. I was like, Oh yeah, I got that. I got that video. I got that. She's like, I feel that I got that video. I don't know that sentence.
SPEAKER_00Calm me down, but like, yeah, he was like, bro, we can go around the corner, like like oh, back there, usually by where you have your DJ set up. He's like, Oh, he's like, I'll fuck you up. And I was like, bro, like calm the fucking. Yeah, that's not like him. Relax. Yeah, you know what I mean? Like, relax, bro. Like, this, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_02Like, I'm not gonna chill, dude.
SPEAKER_03I remember that night.
SPEAKER_02Put it twice. I haven't seen him since. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03Damn, I did get home late from work that day.
SPEAKER_02It's because you know, that that time we were trying to be sneaky about drinking and stuff. Yeah, so that time we were just hanging out and we were trying to we were drinking, we were doing it low-key. My mom was around. Oh, that's right. And yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, you guys knew about it, and I was like, hey, like, we're gonna be drinking. Yeah, yeah. She filled us in. So, and then that's when that happened. And he started flipping out, and he kind of burned the spot because we were like, what the fuck? Like, he's obviously drunk. My mom's like, What's wrong with him?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, is he drunk? Is he drunk? I thought you guys were drinking.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and then that's when that happened, and I got in trouble.
SPEAKER_00Uh yeah, because we it was a one time we were like, all right, like instead of chilling in my garage, like, we'll chill here and drink, and then he did all that. And we're like, Yeah, we're like, but yeah, exactly. Like, you know, that's what pissed me off more because like your mom got mad. Yeah, bro. Like, come on, bro. What a bird, dude. Exactly. What a bird broke the wrong one world we had, but then Alan was what'd you tell him?
SPEAKER_02What? Like, what the fuck, bro? You're supposed to be a little cute about it. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Okay, well, because I bought him fucking alcohol. Yeah, I remember that. I was immediately regretted it right after. And I said, I'm never buying you shit anymore, ever again.
SPEAKER_02I don't want not to buy him so he wanted, he's like, You give me a token?
SPEAKER_03And I'm like, are you sure can you handle it? He's like, Yeah, yeah. All right, yeah. I was like, what do you think, Alvin? Fucking true loose, I don't care.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna drink myself, I'm gonna get my shit. I was like, fuck it, let's go.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and like that was a good guy. That was that one time, man. Yeah. I felt responsible for him and had a couple of things. You got I got in trouble too. Who bought him alcohol?
SPEAKER_00I'm like, You got in trouble for buying it. Yeah, you got in trouble for like all of us doing it. Like your mom is yelled at you guys because like you guys didn't know. We're the oldest and we're the thing. When we were talking, it's when you were just like, bro, like, I should do something, but this is fucking hilarious. Yeah, good side. Like, I'm not the one in trouble, so I don't give a fuck. And there was a moment I was like, no, yeah, you're right. I was like, fuck, that's my homie. Like, I should probably check his ass. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I could just sit here and watch, like, you know, because my thing was like, like, yeah, bro, like, you know, you can't handle your shit, but like if he throws up or he's getting aggressive, yeah. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I'm trying to add that shit, bro. Like, yeah, I got it.
SPEAKER_03With anyone, bro, and like that's how it's how it's always been. So it's just like you don't want to deal with that. Yeah, fuck all that.
SPEAKER_00I'm a somebody, so you know, who knows?
SPEAKER_03That guy was absolutely insane. That was crazy. But yeah, that's what I'm saying. He's a cool man. Yeah, he's cool. He just had that.
SPEAKER_05I think he he fucked up twice. Yeah, twice, I think.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and then you guys twice too many? Yeah, exactly. Because after this first time, we're like, all right, we'll give you guys another, you'll give you another chance to I don't even think I was there for the second time, but you got you guys were all there. Yeah, obviously, you guys didn't fuck with it, so you guys are like, bro, never again. Like, you know, like it's alright, players fuck up.
SPEAKER_03That shit was fucking good. It is what it is, man. That's my bad. But yeah, dude, like that's my fault. I was being a bad, like, older, older person, I guess. You're bad, bad up. I'm not a role model, but I never said I was a role model. I'm just saying. I just if you wanted it, fucking, you know, he wanted one, so I was like, I got you. Exactly. I guess I'm the cool, I guess I'll be cool. I'll be the cool guy. Yeah, I'll be the cool guy. Yeah, that's like should have just said no, bro. Well, it's not for you. I was gonna ask you, like coming out of high school, right? How were you able to adjust uh being, I guess, underage, 18, whatever, and to being an adult now? Is it night and day where you'd be able to were you able to transition like seamlessly, like just like I'm good?
SPEAKER_00I wouldn't say it was like it wasn't easy at all. Um because like junior year high school, like my dad and my sisters moved to Texas. Oh, you stayed, right? Yeah, because my grandparents were like, oh, like you can either go or you can stay because you're doing good in school, you know? Yeah. Basketball, volleyball, and then water polo the senior year. You had a lot of stuff going on. Yeah, yeah. Like it was the middle of junior year, bro. Like, I'm not trying to like, you know, like I'm about to graduate high school, I'm not trying to like do all that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So like I moved in with them. Yeah, exactly. And then like the other is great. Like, you know, my grandma became like my mom. Um and then like my grandpa, you know, taught me how to drive, taught me how to shave, like you know, just like was there for me. And then uh like I've coming up on my our 18th birthday because we have the same fucking we're twins. Oh hell yeah. My grandparents were like, alright, like you're gonna be 18 now, it's either school or work. And I was like, Alright, cool. Like, and then like I turned 18 and I was like, Oh, like can I go out with my friends? They're like, dude, you're 18, like you know what I mean? Yeah, oh, like, you know what I mean? Yeah, okay, right, yeah, you know, and then like I was like, alright, like I know I w I knew I wanted to go to school, but at first I was like, Yeah, I want to be a history teacher, but then like so in my first year of college, I was like, Yeah, like I'll do this because my history teacher in high school like inspired me, you know what I mean? Like, you know, exactly Coach Homer, you know, like um he was like it was just great because he was my my teacher all three years and then also my volleyball coach. Oh nice, he was like there for me you know going through with everything I was going through with my family, and then like after my first year, I was just like you know, I was also working, going through all that, but then um October right after of 2020, like my mom or my grandma got rediagnosed with cancer. So like you know, after my first year of college, I was like, dude, like this isn't what I want to do like anymore. Like ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to be like a detective. I always wanna be like all of my own. Oh nice, nice. You know, yeah, like I've always wanted I don't know, like you know, good and bad interactions with cops, obviously, but I've always wanted to make like and it's probably corny, but I've always wanted to make like the world a better place. Uh-huh. You know what I mean? Like and I figured what easier way to do that than either teacher or like you know, being a cop. Yeah, nice. You know, obviously right now there's a lot of skeptical shit going on, but you know, there's good and bad things and everything. And then so I switched majors and started doing the cerritos, but I took a year off because like I was like, dude, I need to figure out how I want to do this. I want to set up my plan. Yeah, get up, set it up, right? Yeah, but it's like then again, it's like I'm 18, 19 trying to figure this out. And yeah, you know, like I'm the only first in my family like to go to college. Oh, that's cool. I'll be the only one, like I'm the only one to graduate because I graduated from Ceridos last year, and then I'll be the only one to like graduate next year with my bachelor's.
SPEAKER_08So holy shh, shit, thank you.
SPEAKER_00Congratulations, bro. Yeah, like shitting all over you fucking, you know, and like and like that's not a diss to anyone else in my family. No, it's just crazy because like I had to figure that out on my own. On your own, yeah. You know what I mean? So like I'm trying to figure out that and then my next steps, and I'm like, all right, cool. What where do I want to be when I'm at like 25? Where do I want to be at when I'm 30? Yeah, you're planning. Exactly. Yeah, you know, no diss to my like my dad, my uncles, or like my dad's always said he doesn't want us to be like him. Yeah, yeah. He wants us to be better. So you know, like I like looked at their lives and I was like, dude, what the fuck is going on here? Yeah, like I was like, dude, like I want to be better, you know what I mean? So how can I learn from their mistakes? How can I learn from their fuck-ups and be like, all right, like let me do this better, you know what I mean? And like I've had a lot of one-on-ones with like my dad, like all my uncles, and like obviously you don't know, like you guys said you guys, you know, and it's like able to learn, like obviously, like they're not perfect. I'm not saying I'm perfect, but like, all right, cool, like if they did this, this, and this at that age, maybe I shouldn't do this, this, yeah, you know what I mean? It's like, oh yeah, like and at the time too, I think uh 2021, early 20s to 21, my uncle Pat was like, hey dude, like you want to move out and like live with me. So like, yeah, like you know, let's do it. You know what I mean? Like I saw I moved in with my uncle Pat for two years. Um and then like at the time, you know, he wanted to get uh more serious with his girl. Yeah and I realized like um you know, my grandpa he had gotten diagnosed with skin cancer at the time, and then my grandma's cancer got worse. Like at the time, this was like two and a half years ago, maybe not three and a half years ago now. Um and I was like, alright, like where do I like what do I want my life with? And I was like, I need to go back to school, and this is what I want to do with school. And then I talked to my grandparents, they're like, Yeah, you can move back in, like you don't have to work, you know what I mean? If you want to, like you're at least going to school, like we see you trying, so like you don't have to like you know, get to work, and I was like, you guys, like you're going through and take it to the city. Yeah, like yeah, exactly. So I was like, alright, like I'll at least work part-time real quick, and then I'll you know take care of you guys and like take you to hospital visits and stuff like that. Give back is like at the end of the day, like my grandparents took care of like you know, my dad, my uncles, and me, my my cousins and my siblings and I. So obviously that wasn't easy. Yeah, yeah. So I was like, alright, how can I give back in a way to do it? Do your part exactly repay. Yeah, so that's what's crazy because I started working part-time where I'm at now, and I was like, dude, I'm only gonna work part-time and go to school. But obviously, that change, you know? Yeah, and then like I would take care of my like grandma, take her appointments and stuff, or like just be there and there, you know, before and then like started school, and I was just like, dude, I love this. Like, you know what I mean? That's like I was on the gr like on the grind, and I still am, obviously, but it's like now I've like I realized like how to manage my time better, so I was like, so I can go out more. Yeah, have your own free time. Exactly. Yeah, you know, because how young I am and everything, I want to still be able to live life and go out. And it's like, you know what I mean? I would still kind of see like you know, Alina and X and like all our other homies, and like it was great because they understood, like, yeah, we see him less, but it's not because like he doesn't fuck with us, it's because like we're all exactly, we're all busy, you know what I mean? It's cool, like I love being like I love being this busy or like working towards like my goal because it's like other people that do like seeing you do this shit makes me want to do this. Yeah, you know what I mean. Hell yeah, dude. Yeah, yeah, yeah like it's not easy, obviously. There's some days when I'm like fuck this, like you know what I mean? Like you know, just like a beer open and just chill. Exactly, bro. No matter what, right now. And then like at school, I'm in five classes right now, so that's at least I want to say like eight to ten hours a week a week just for like one class, maybe. You know what I mean? So it's like, you know what I mean? So you know, that's fucking maybe like twelve, fifteen hours for like just school a week, probably more so like twenty-twenty-five, because I'm almost done. So it's like you know, sixty-five to like eighty-five hours a week of just school and work. Yeah, yeah, exactly. You know what I mean? So yeah, exactly. And like that's not even taking into account like sleep, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03Like, you know, and he and he finds time to go to the gym, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, dude, I love because like um, I was just like at a bad place mentally, and I realized like, dude, like my dad and my uncles, like again, no this to them, but like, you know, they're turning to alcohol or like weed or like cigarettes when they like when they're not doing the best. I'm like, I don't want to do that. Yeah, and then I was like, you know what? Like, I want to get fucking buff. Yeah, so I was like coming day and night. But like, you know, it's two and a half years of like just straight like five to six days a week, just like working out. And it's like now it's like brushing my teeth. I can't go a day without getting it. Nice, bro. That's what's up, bro.
SPEAKER_03Fuck yeah, dude. That's what's up, G. You inspired me. Yeah, I gotta hit we gotta hit it hard Monday. You think if I start working out, I'll get taller, taller? You'll get like a second puberty puberty or something? Like, you're not done yet. Just unlock a fucking level.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, bro. Like, you're growing into it, dude. It could happen, bro.
SPEAKER_06That's why I'm trying to work on my fucking traps, dude. Because I feel it's gonna push my neck higher. It's gonna pull your back up higher.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we're non-alcoholics either.
SPEAKER_05Let me live my life, J Lo. We gotta get on that too.
SPEAKER_03That's good, man. That's that's dope, bro. Yeah, hella potty, man. Keep keep grinding, bro. Hell yeah. You're an inspiration.
SPEAKER_06You know, him and him and Pat, I feel like you guys like they're the ones they no uh again, no just to the rest. But like him and Pat, I've noticed that they kind of have like the similar type of drive. Oh, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like, um, because he wanted to go back to start like start going back to school. Yeah, like we talked one time. We just had a beer or some, you know, fucking just talked, and he was like, dude, like, what if I can't do it? And I was like, bro, like, but what if you can't? You know what I mean? Like, what if you do it? Yeah, exactly. You could you could just go like I don't know, you can sit there all day and like make excuses like about anything. I was like, oh, absolutely. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I was like, what's you know, what didn't stop you guys from doing this? Yeah, it's like it's the same mentality that I have with like my life, and it's like, dude, like all that's talked against me. It's like, yeah, like cool, like there's reasons to not do it, but there's also reasons to do it. Yeah, what I mean. So it's just like dude, you're right. Like, I want a better life for like myself, I want to make more money, like you know, and now he's got this, you know, baby girl, yeah. And he's like, dude, I want a better life for her, you know what I mean? So it's like and like I applaud him, like I'm like, dude, the good shit, like keep it going, you know what I mean? Like as I would with that, like as I am with everyone, bro. Like, I don't know, obviously, like if anyone wants to better themselves, you should want that. Yeah, for me. Exactly. Like, oh no, my friends or my family are bettering themselves. Yeah, you know, they hate on her. Like, I've never understood not supporting like homies, you know what I mean? Like you guys my barber with X or you know, with our other homies, you know, with Lena and what she's got going on, or like you know, who was supposed to come today, but you know what I mean? Like I've never understood or just like homies in general, like anyone, bro. Like, I've never understood like it's coming later. Like, I've never understood like not supporting homies, just being there for your homies, yeah. Absolutely, like you know, I don't know. That just like tripped me out when people are like, Yeah, like oh, I don't want to go out, like I'm too tired. Like, dude, that's your homie's birthday party. Like, they're gonna you know what I mean? Like, yeah, if they want to go, just go.
SPEAKER_03Like, yeah, yeah, absolutely. See, that's that's that's shit I'm talking about. Yeah, dude.
SPEAKER_08Or like a simple like repost or a simple just pop-up story, like it doesn't, you know what I mean? It don't hurt, dude. Yeah, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_06Or a simple subscription, you know, just subscribe, you know? Get the number up.
SPEAKER_03Oh shit. But you know what, dude? Before we get out of here, I just want to get take this time to to say to you thank you so much for pulling up, man. Because you're you are a busy motherfucker, dude. You really are but he finds the fucking time in general. This is what dedication is, right? That's what it is. Yeah, bro.
SPEAKER_00I've been wanting to like since you since I saw that you guys were like have a podcast. I was like, dude, I want to be on that. Like, you know what I mean? Like just because like I like just to chop it up about like life and like the we're all like we're family, you know what I mean? And like, yeah, you guys are just like because like a lot of times people get podcast equipment, you're like, dude, well, who let you guys get that? Like there should be like, you know, like that's funny because I was just talking to my barber about this Friday when he came me up and he was like, dude, like you guys are actually like the siblings who should have podcasts. Oh yeah, you guys are the siblings who should be like it is, like I agree.
SPEAKER_03That's why we did it, dude. That's why we did it, dude. Yeah, bro. People need to see us, man. I'm honestly like a big like I'm like super negative like Nancy on like what these guys want to do sometimes. What?
SPEAKER_02You're a push.
SPEAKER_03They want to involve me, like involve me in everything they do. And so they hit me up, they're like, fucking, we're gonna do this. We could talk about this, and I'm just like, dude, that sounds gay, bro. You know? But it just disses us all the time. I always turn it down the first time, and then I sleep on it, and then I think about it, and then I say, hey, so what about the like when we do the podcast? How are we gonna see it? You know what I mean? It takes me a while to come around, and I understand that I'm always I've been always been like always done that, dude. I apologize to you guys for that live because this is fun.
SPEAKER_05I just thought I don't know. Fuck Mob D.
SPEAKER_03That's the thing though.
SPEAKER_05She said, fuck Mob D.
SPEAKER_03She said, get the frick out. Come editor. I never miss, I didn't miss any frickin' days. What's up? Let's freaking facts, baby. You were here, but you're not mentally here. Slap that though. Slap that. There you go.

SPEAKER_03I don't even wait. When I wake up, I just look at the ceiling for like an hour. Damn, you or like I should get up. Probably get up, dude. I should probably get up. I need a shower. I need a shower. It's been two days. Well, dude, I'm telling you right now, we we very much appreciate you for pulling up with us, man. This is uh definitely a fun.
