SPEAKER_02Hey, so uh Welcome to the Beauty Files. We're back. You know what? We're back. We never left. Um, because we're in your ear every week. But but we are back in the in the hot seat, if you will. Yeah. We make it hot though. I had a hamburger wrap, I guess you would call it. It wasn't a sub. Um, I feel like I ate a hamburger wrap.
SPEAKER_03You know, when you just you're like just a little shouldn't have some just I had some lovely, what was it, pumpkin? Is it pumpkin chip?
SPEAKER_02Pumpkin chili.
SPEAKER_03I was so excited to see that. Amy's leftovers, it was delicious. I I told her I need the recipe. I was pretty so bad.
SPEAKER_02I was pretty proud of myself. It was I don't make chili often.
SPEAKER_03I think I do like once a year.
SPEAKER_02I think you should do it more often.
SPEAKER_03And I think you should try the white chicken chili. I think you would really like it. That's that's what you make, yes. Yeah, that's I made it for the first time. It was actually really good. So um and when I make chili, I know you and your ASMR. Go one. I like to make their a lot of veggies are in it, and like beans and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_02Like I don't do beans, but it that's easy.
SPEAKER_03Just don't use them. Yeah. Right? But I like to have like a lot of veggies and I'm in like veggies are good. That's how you hide them. Yeah. It's really good. My family will not eat vegetables. Mine will eat them. I just I sliced up many cucumbers. My kids will eat them all day long. They love cucumbers in general. My child likes cucumbers. Peppers, they love all different kinds of peppers. I now do as an adult. Celery. I love celery. I like celery now as an adult. They will not do tomatoes, neither of them. Oh, interesting. Why? Cooked or raw? Does it matter? Nope. They just they're not. They're just not into it. They're just not into it. That's okay. Not their thing.
SPEAKER_00That's okay.
SPEAKER_03It might be later. I don't know. But carrots love she'll just eat carrots like carrots are great. Loves carrots. It's a good thing. Lettuce.
SPEAKER_02Wow. What are those what other vegetables can we name?
SPEAKER_03Asparagus.
SPEAKER_02Eggplant.
SPEAKER_03My son loves asparagus.
SPEAKER_02I do not like asparagus.
SPEAKER_03I like it on the grill.
SPEAKER_02It makes pea smell funny.
SPEAKER_03Oh well, it does do that really bad.
SPEAKER_02That's enough for me. I don't mind the taste of asparagus. I do not I don't like that side effect. Corn?

SPEAKER_03It's becoming that time of year, so it really is. I love putting chili in a crock pot and just going. So I decorated for fall, and I'm pretty happy about it. We had to go to Target today and she wanted to get a pumpkin to paint all black for Halloween. Oh, okay, I love it. And turned it into a cat. And yeah, it was it was cute.
SPEAKER_02Was this a live pumpkin? Like a like a real pumpkin?
SPEAKER_03I was gonna say it's early.
SPEAKER_02It's early, yeah.
SPEAKER_03It was it was one of the fake ones, and she's like, I need to paint this. It's Halloween. Trying to get a Halloween shirt.
SPEAKER_02My heart. You know, that makes me happy. Yeah. I really like that. Um, so we recognize that we have been hitting it hot and heavy lately, uh, in terms of like podcast topics. Yeah. So we're gonna have like a total superficial light, fluffy. Light and fluffy. This one's gonna be fun, but uh, this is literally fresh, hot off the presses. Just to circle back and you know close the loop on last week's podcast. It is official. They have uh it is it is a mistrial. Yes. So more on that, I don't know if they will try it again. We will find out. That's gonna be really difficult, I feel. Yeah. I don't think I have yet to talk to anyone that doesn't know about that. Yeah. Wow. Well, that's that.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. We'll see. I think it's I think it's sad, and the reason I say that it's sad is because if there at least was a verdict as opposed to a mistrial, there would have been now again they could have appealed it, right? But there would have been some sort of closure ending, and now it's still open-ended. So in my in my head, in my heart, for me, for the family, I wanted some sort of ending for them, regardless of what that may be. Um and today was not that day.
SPEAKER_02All right, so today dun dun dun today, it is truly this this is important, this topic of the superficial, frivolous, light and fluffy. Cause um that stuff's important. It's the little joys. Or what should we call this podcast?
SPEAKER_03The little things. So I wanna I wanna just randomly bring up a little thing. Did you see the video that I sent you last night? Did I see y'all? Please, please. Um, I just I thought it was really funny um because I'm just that person that I don't really care and um I'm here for it. So we're offering IVs um at the Mets Ba now. And Jess has done a few. I went in the other day and she looked at me and she goes, You look dehydrated. And I was like, I'm girl, I'm always dehydrated. And I sat there and she goes, I'm putting an IV in. I said, Okay. So they're called gravity drips, so we don't have an infusion pump, so it's not like pushing it into you. Right. Um so she's like, Oh, we're gonna give you the big boy one. So she comes out with a thousand milliliter bag instead of a five hundred milliliter bag. Well, yeah. And she mixes me a cocktail and she's like, You need this. I was like, Okay.
SPEAKER_02Rachel sent me a video of her in the car. In the car with the IV bag hanging, what is it, off of the like the handlebar elevated and uh with a hair clip. She looked pretty cute, you guys. It was hilarious, and uh, you know, I'm proud of you. And how do you feel today? So everybody else saying the same thing. I It's okay if you don't feel any different.
SPEAKER_03I really didn't feel that much different. What I will say is that night I felt really bloated. And I think there was like so much fluid fluid in me. Um, I kept saying, please don't let anybody pull me over. And then I was like, I got in the car and I'm driving and I'm like, shit, I need gas. Oh stop. Did you get gas? I did. Well, I had my son help me. He's never pumped gas before. Please tell me you took a video of this. I know you took a video from me, but have, but I didn't. And um, you are really the worst patient. You really are. She well, she yelled at me earlier because it wasn't the reason I had to take it in my car is because I was I did a lash set.

SPEAKER_03So my arm is bent with the IV in. So I'm doing a lash set, which we did take a video of too. I'm doing a lash set with the IV. I had to end up standing up to do the lash set because my arm was bent too much.
SPEAKER_02I love this.
SPEAKER_03And you're bruised from I sent her a picture this morning. I said, You did great. I don't even have a little pinhole. That's it.
SPEAKER_02That's really good.
SPEAKER_03Do you have a preferred arm? Um, no, I have a really good one. Like you can see this one. Oh, I could see them from over here. And we're in a lowly lit uh room. I have some really good ones. You do.
SPEAKER_02So why don't you tell everyone like what that is? We probably shouldn't have done that first. Sorry, everybody.
SPEAKER_03So um Ivy, it's hydration. So for those of you who you go into the hospital, you've been sick, you haven't been able to get your fluids in, you you were drinking a lot, you have a migraine, you are dehydrated. Just dehydrated in general. Yes. Um we have IV fluids that we can give to you, um, and then we can add in additives based off of what your concern is. If you're hungover and you're really nauseous and you're like we have different types. So we have Zofran we can add in, and we have tortol for migraines. Um we can add in B12, B complex, we can add in um uh like a mixture of literally everything that you would need. Gotcha. I think it's the Myers cocktail that has like everything in it and has zinc and that's cool. Um different immunity. Yeah. Gotcha. And so you sit there and we can give you that through an Ivy bag instead of having to like go to the hospital and wait if you're like super dehydrated. That's true. So it's just a nice thing that you can do. You can have it done during a service if you're gonna be there. Oh see. So you can add it on. And load up, stacking services. And we are gonna be, since it is a new service that we're gonna be offering, we are gonna have some discounts on those coming up.
SPEAKER_02It's exciting because that's been in the works for a little bit now. I'm even wanting to do that.
SPEAKER_03So And we had you come in.
SPEAKER_02I am officially there, which is really exciting. I did my first ever um directed by Tessa uh Instagram reel. It went live, it's got like 3,000 views, which is very exciting. Um, I did feel really stupid doing it. It was cute. It was actually really cute. If we didn't see it, y'all should go look. It was cute. It's very cute, but I did feel like I would not like acting. I can tell you.
SPEAKER_03A piece of meat? You feel like a piece of meat? You should see when Tessa makes me do stuff, I'm like, oh Tessa, this is this is gonna be awesome.
SPEAKER_02Tessa doesn't know me that well, so I think she was being very kind. She was she was not being like particular or anything like that. I'm sure it'll get worse the more I'm there. Which is fine, Tessa. I'm I'm joking. Like, I want that. I need direction. She'll look at me and she'll be like, no, that was horrible to begin.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, I know. I'm trying. That's hilarious.
SPEAKER_02Um yeah, it was funny. I my biggest pain point right now with color analysis is it's just so corny online. I have yet to see anybody that's not like I don't know. I so I'm trying. I'm trying to pick up. You know what Halloween's coming up. We can do a lot with color analysis when it comes to Halloween. I've got all my costumes already ready to go. Yeah. I did it last year. I'm very excited about it. Um, so yeah, it's gonna be good. All the corny reels here we come. Corny reels, it's gonna be Halloween in your season. It's gonna be great. Yeah. In that voice, too.
SPEAKER_03And we got your rack. Yes. You got your rack in the closet. We reorganized even more. We moved things so it's out actually added. So all the machines are gone. Yeah. Did you okay? As long as that wasn't like they're not like gone.
SPEAKER_02They're just gone, sorry. That was that was a bit dramatic.

SPEAKER_02The machines just recently came out, which is great. Good for them.
SPEAKER_03And we're also gonna be adding a new machine too that will be coming after the event. Is this a CO2? Mm-hmm. Oh my god. Okay. Here she comes. Pretty excited. I know. Are you gonna have specials for that? Yes, we are. I figure. We're gonna have specials for that.
SPEAKER_02And you have an event September 11th. Which you're gonna be there. I will be there. I even canceled Grey Apple Market. And I I I didn't get to hear why. I heard you say it. Okay, well I'll tell you why. Because color analysis is not field friendly. It's just not. Okay. No one first of all, Grey Apple Market is a great, it's a great event, but people want to look good at that event. It's very Instagram-y. It's very the big stupid hats and the the fall outfits and people want to wear makeup, is what I'm saying. I cannot properly properly do a color analysis if you have a full face of makeup on. Fair. It's doing yourself, you're covering literally your undertone. So I can't see it. Um so not only that, but no one is gonna want to sit in a tent with a cape on being watched by a thousand people. And it's from eight to five both days. It is a it's long. It's a lot, and the eye strain and eye fatigue that I would have would hinder me from even giving you an accurate reading. It's too much. It's too much. And I was starting to dread it. I wasn't very excited about it. I'm more excited for your event. Not to mention it's all you guys, it's people I know. I'm not gonna know anybody at this event. And I like to go to that event. I really like that event, and I would rather enjoy it as a patron. Fair. So that's my story.
SPEAKER_03Were you able to get your money back?
SPEAKER_02I was not. Anyway, so I'm really excited for your event.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And it's going to be I'm just gonna be a happier person.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So it's gonna be fine. It's gonna be fine. It's gonna be fun. I'm over here still like stressed. Well, it's because you're hosting.

SPEAKER_02I may have had a glow worm. You're like dolls, right?

SPEAKER_02Uh anyway, so today I thought that we could kind of just share like the favorite things that are just making us feel good. Um, because when things are really like terrible, a manicure is still pretty great. And life goes on, and you still have to look put together, no matter like what is going on in the world. People are still looking at you like, did you shower today? You know?
SPEAKER_03No, no, I didn't.
SPEAKER_02No. Actually, your hair is looking very fresh. Um, maybe it's the IV, but your skin is glowing.
SPEAKER_03We're gonna talk about that. Yeah, I don't know that it was the IV, but and my hair looking fresh, so we can we can talk about my hair. What's let's talk about your hair. Um, should we talk about your hair? Is that good? Is that bad? I removed like over half of my extensions because I now I liked your I like your word removed.
SPEAKER_02I removed I do think you physically removed them. I did because you pull them out, Rachel.
SPEAKER_03I used the proper tools. Okay, okay. But I um it was uh Is it a stress? It was an anxiety, stressed, anxiety induced um sitch sitch and you can't tell. I feel like it looks very nice. I feel like you can because um it needs cut. That's why you curled it. That's why you curled it to kind of help. Like it was um, it was much thicker before I removed more than half of them. Right. Right. So, and I was supposed to have my hair done on Friday. Oh, right. And I had to move my hair appointment because of the event. Oh, like, okay. And I was supposed to have my nail appointment too. Oh, yeah. You were gonna have like a full day. I was gonna have a full like morning and afternoon. So that sets you back. Set me back, but you know still gonna look beautiful. My hair, I don't know. I feel like I I like my hair curled. You look nice with curled hair. Just just curled. Yeah. Not complete like I like loose waves. Yeah, loose waves. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I that's very in right now, anyway. Like the beach wave is really having a moment. What about you? Well, my hair, I I I'm I'm back on the bangs. I just I've been seeing some really cute fringes.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And I just I feel like I just flirt with the idea, and then I'll go, I'll take it up to like my cheekbone, and then I'm like, no, no, no, I can't do it. And I just feel like I need to just follow through. Snips. Whether it's good or bad. I just need to I need to get it out of my system.
SPEAKER_03It grows, it's hair.
SPEAKER_02It does, it does.
SPEAKER_03I I I want to do it. So just close your eyes.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I can't cut it myself. I need no when you're there. When you're there.
SPEAKER_03That's fine. Close your eyes. You don't even need to open them. I just want to know what it's like. You should tell her to turn you around. That's way too much. That's so you can't look and then style it and then let you see.

SPEAKER_02I just I just need to know. I don't think I have a face for bangs because I'm more like angular. I think you have to have a softer face, but I'm just like, scrap, you don't know me. ChatGPT telling me my ideal hairstyle is not a fringe. Shh. Yeah, I get really mad at him sometimes.
SPEAKER_03I I am gonna take well, I'm not You're gonna take his side, aren't you? So I'm not. You don't have a large, so she does not, if you all know, you know what we look like, okay? She doesn't have a large forehead.
SPEAKER_02Mm-mm.
SPEAKER_03She has a very tiny petite forehead.
SPEAKER_02My beautiful hairstylist has warned me of this. She's like, you have a tiny forehead, and your bangs are gonna be like two inches just you you have a tiny forehead, and all I'm saying is you don't have a wrinkle forehead, you don't have an old forehead.
SPEAKER_03I have nothing to hide, you don't have anything to hide.
SPEAKER_02Um This is why I have issues because I really like my eyebrows too, and I don't want them to hide.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I have a very large forehead.
SPEAKER_02So having you have a larger forehead. I have a large forehead.
SPEAKER_03I have a ten head, okay? Um contour up there. Well, like right now, I'm gonna have to Have you seen those things?
SPEAKER_02They're like I don't know how to describe them. They're like a headband, but it has hair, and you put it right in front of your part, and it just moves your part. It just looks like your part starts sooner, and it's four large foreheads.
SPEAKER_03No, I haven't.
SPEAKER_02Well, I'm gonna have it now because I'm talking about it. It's amazing. But I need I don't know anyone though.
SPEAKER_03My my bangs have been a hot minute. They're not terribly long.
SPEAKER_02They're not But they're shorter. You've gotten them shorter. They've been shorter.
SPEAKER_03They um they're not they're heavy right now. Yeah. So I need to texturize them, and I'm gonna have to do that myself because you can. I cannot continue on like this for another two weeks. Um it's just you get rescheduled? I did, but two weeks, so that makes a difference. That makes a huge difference for me for color a little bit. Like my hair right now, like my bangs are just kind of like they're sad. I disagree. They're sad and um it's not even the hair color. I don't I just need a cut. Like, if anything, especially with taking out the extensions. Um now once you get them put back in. So I'm gonna take the rest of them out before I put new ones in. But I'm going to. Amy wants me to go warmer. I do. Just a touch. So I'm having I'm having a hard time. I know. Um, so what I'm going to do. Yeah. What I'm going to do is I'm going to get the extensions that I typically do. Okay. But I'm also going to get, and I'm not necessarily going warmer. What I'm going to do is I'm going to do ombre. So they're going to be darker. Okay. So what I'm going to do is they're going to be darker. And I'm going to put mix them in so as if it's more low light. Yes. And I support those. I'm going to. I'm going to try it.

SPEAKER_03This is exciting. And it's still not going to be like warm, but we're going to try more dimensional because. I agree. I don't think you don't need warm hair. No. I need more. She wants me to have more dimensional, let's be clear. More dimension and depth. Um, so I'm going to do that, and we're gonna try that out. I just got like nervous and excited.
SPEAKER_02All at the same time. I want a change, and I can't I think this is my issue because my hair is as dark as it is, and I have to touch up my roots. So I now have as as it grows out, I have colored hair all throughout. And you can't lift one slash two. You just can't, not in a healthy manner. So I'm just stuck, and I'm and I'm and I need I'm gonna explode.
SPEAKER_03You need to just do what I do and buy some K tips and put them throughout your hair. Of like color, you mean? Yeah. Because then you're not actually you don't have to do you don't have to sewn in, you don't have to change them all the time. You can get them, I can even show you the site. You can get them where they're like dark rooted and lighter on the ends, like an ombre effect. I used to have that. Maybe a little too much, but I used to have that. But like you could get like two packs and put them throughout, it'll make your hair thicker. Right, right, right. And add some dimension and then you could keep them in for six months. I like that. And move on with your life.
SPEAKER_02I like to move on with my life. I'm a person that loves to move on with their life.
SPEAKER_03I'm just saying.
SPEAKER_02That's an ad for me. I love it.
SPEAKER_03I'm just I'm like, for somebody who wants to continue with the roots. More like needs to. Well, yeah, you're right. I you're right. I want to. It's not a need, it's a don't want to go gray. Which is fine. There's nothing wrong with that. I know it's it's acceptable. It is. Um, but for any of you out there who are teetering on that, like, I need to change something, but I don't want to damage my hair, but I like this, but I like that. I do find that K tips, keratin tips, um, which are individual, they can be placed randomly. They don't have to be in a row, they don't have to um it it's not gonna give you, you know, it's gonna give you a little extra volume. A little oomph. A little oomph, um, you know, and a little pizzazz. I'd love pizzazz. A little pizzazz. Oh, the pizzazz podcast. A little bit of a little bit of color. Love.
SPEAKER_02But I need a little dimension.
SPEAKER_03A little dimension.
SPEAKER_02Look what ChatGPT did. He had the audacity to show. I get so angry at chat, and then other times I get so happy. I took a picture of me in Miami and I said, give me freaking the fringe of my dreams. And it gave me that. Which Rachel doesn't like. I love that. So that's hilarious that you don't like that. You don't like that? Why? It did mess up my teeth though, in all fairness. I don't have those teeth.
SPEAKER_03Can you try it in grok? I don't have grok. Send me a picture. Send me send me that picture. Okay.
SPEAKER_02I'm nervous now.
SPEAKER_03So the reason that I don't necessarily love that picture is it kind of.
SPEAKER_00Tell me.
SPEAKER_03It's a lot of bang. I want a lot of bang though. She bang. She bang is not for Amy. But I want it. You know, sometimes we want things that we shouldn't. I know, and I know realistically, I don't even have that hair. It's like it's like when a client comes to me and they say, I want a lot of brows. That is literally exactly. But you don't. Because you don't have the face for it. I know. You're not the appropriate age for it, and it is going to age you. Now, the nice thing about the bangs is that they're gonna grow. And so I know, but I want to like them.
SPEAKER_02I want to be like, this is my hairstyle. This is what I'm having now, this is who I am. I want to be pleased with the result. We're we're talking like, I know I'm gonna hate it and I'm gonna grow it out because I needed to get it out of my system. Which is probably realistically what is going to happen.
SPEAKER_03But what if? What if it's like I think you might like it for a day. I don't think it is because you don't like to hide behind things. You're not a hider.
SPEAKER_02Oh, this is interesting. You're not I like this perspective as introspective.
SPEAKER_03You're not somebody who likes to pull a curtain in front of you. Now, do you like confrontation? You do not. No. But but that's true. You're also not somebody who wants to be invisible.
SPEAKER_02That's true. I'm not a sight-unseen person. I like to be seen. That is not Son of a B. Well, put it put it in Grok anyway and see what they can come up with. I sent it to you. We'll see. Alright, so while Rachel puts me into another AI platform where they can steal my identity, and you know, it's fine. It's fine.

They have a pecan tell me how latte I almost got that and I didn't. So was it? I got it in a frappuccino form. It was delicious in the Frappuccino form. I said, Can you make it delicious in a Frappuccino? I said, Can you make it a Frappuccino for me instead of the latte? Because it's a hotter day out. And she goes, absolutely. I don't know the last time I ordered a Frappuccino. She she goes up there, she likes to get her um what do they call it? Candy pop. Oh, the uh cake pop. Cake pop, cake pop, and which one does she like? She always gets the birthday cake. Yep, that's the best one. The pink. Yep, it's the best one.

Um, so I uh mine's not as exciting, and I actually was a little depressed that my coffee drink wasn't as um high maintenance, but whatever. But I am just really enjoying an iced coffee with vanilla. What? What do you what? Oh, is oh Rachel's laughing at my gro my grok results, if I'm if I had to guess. And it gave me two.

Anyway, so my drink my coffee drink is an iced coffee with vanilla and oat milk. And it doesn't sound like much, but it's like everything. It's just it's the little things. In fact, who is her name Nikki? Caffeinated Mama. Yes. Okay. I just I see her as Caffeinated Mama. I do not see a name. Her actual name, so that's hilarious. She uh uh goes around and has she's hysterical. I mean her her handle is Caffeinated Mama, which tells you everything you need to know. She loves coffee. She gets the most delicious looking fancy coffee drinks. And I oh every time I see it, I think, oh, I need to go and try that. And then I never do. I like black out. When I go to those places, I just iced coffee, uh, vanilla syrup, please. I just forget that I don't try any of the new flavors. I forget. I just I'm like I black out. Even the pecan thing, I saw that when I went to that's not that's better.

It's Colfi. K-U-L-F-I. It's the stupidest name. Um just it's the stupidest name. However, um I tried their lip liner. And it's a the lip liner is designed to match the color of your lips so that if you want to have it just a little fuller, you can't tell. And I have to say, I'm pretty blown away. And it's like, does it actually work? It not only does it work, it stays. It doesn't smudge away. It's I was very impressed. I will, because I'm still like not certain how the how it's possible. I really, really like it. I will the color that I like I think is called la la la. Because you know La la la. La la la. Um, but then they have a lip. I don't even know what to call it. It's like, it's the lip color I had on when I did the reel at your office. It's like a, it looks like you just what's that called? Like the just kissed lips. Like they're like matte, but not they look, they look conditioned. I don't know how to describe it. They look soft. Yes, they look soft, but it's not mattifying, but it's matte. I can't explain it. SPEAKER_02It does work. Okay, so everybody, everybody listening, everybody look down and then take your hand and run it against your neck. And when you feel those folds, then go straight again, and then you have lines, and that's what Rachel's talking about.
SPEAKER_03We all have them. So what does it do? Is it tightened? Yeah, it helps to tighten, it helps to minimize those lines. A device is just a it's a product, it's a cream that you use. Um, and I've been using it again. I had stopped using it for a while, and I can say for sure that I definitely have noticed that it helps significantly. Techno?

I'm always great about washing my face and doing the products and like morning and night. Um, I've been a little more relaxed on my exfoliating products. So I've been trying to focus more on my exfoliating. So my alpha rets, which I do really, really like, and they help kind of start to clear me back up again. How about you? I was split between two products.
SPEAKER_02Um, one is a setting spray for makeup, and it's I don't even know why it's so special. It's called Blue Marble, has a blue marble in the stupid bottle. It is just the best setting spray I've ever used, especially for cream. That's what I like to use, and then this is from Saint, but I have really been loving just Illuminator. I mix that with the cream and put it all on the brush and then use it. And I just really like that faux looks like I'm hydrated, healthy, glow. Um what else? There's more. Oh, oh, oh. This is this was a fun one. Um, something new or an old favorite you've rediscovered. And I'll go first because you're looking up the setting spray. I this is not good, by the way. What I'm about to say. I know it's like endocrine disruptors and it's hormonal, it's all terrible. And I don't care. Bath and body works, their candles.
SPEAKER_03I you know what I got? What? I got one of their um their car scents. Like the Oh yeah, yeah, I got one. How is it? I like it. What'd you get? I got Book Loft. Okay.

SPEAKER_02My daughter has the body spray of that. Um I got four candles from there. And which ones did you get? I got it was their fall line. So the candles themselves, the exterior of the container, like the drop the glass, I think. Um they were all like decorated and whatnot. Um one was called Cozy Sunday Morning. That one smells lovely. Uh another one I think was like traditional, like a pumpkin something or other. Another one was called Oh, one I got it as a gift to my mother and was called football or something. She loves football. I forget what it's called. She'll have to let us know on the Instagram. It is it smells, it's it doesn't smell like you know, dirty jerseys or anything. It's a nice scent. It's fall-esque. Um, and then the other one I think was autumn related. Like it had autumn in the name.
SPEAKER_03Um Mahogany. Oh. No, see, I would like that. I would buy that. Um, it's mahogany teak, I think. Yeah, I would totally buy that. It's really good. That sounds good. That smells good. It smells really good. It's a really nice candle.
SPEAKER_02I went into the Hershey Outlet Bath and Body Works. Oh. I had the best time in there. I just it felt like I was back in high school. Like, because I was all the rage was going there. Haven't been in years. Yeah. It was such a uh it was like nostalgic, and then also just loved it. Love the products. Anyway, so I did cave and I got those. Is there anything that you are gravitating towards, whether it's new or an old favorite you've rediscovered? It's okay though. It's okay. Do you want us to come back to it? Or not, we don't have to. Yeah, I I don't know. That's okay. Yeah, that's sometimes things don't need to resurface. There are lots of things that don't need to resurface. Um we touched on this earlier, but current go-to hairstyle.
SPEAKER_03Right now, my current go-to hairstyle is whatever is going to make it look good until I get my hair dead.
SPEAKER_02That's that's fair. That's a fair answer. Yeah. Um, I I've been really low maintenance with my hair lately. I was. I was letting it air dry and I was disappointed how flat it looked. So now I am blow drying it. But I'm not blow drying it the whole way because it takes too long, and I don't have patience for that. You need a dice and air wrap. I have a Dyson Airwrap. I love the Dyson Air Wrap. That is on my list further down this thing of things. The issue is how my hair, you ask any hairstylist that's ever done my hair, I hold moisture like you cannot believe. It takes forever. Now I have heard that just the regular Dyson blow dryer is what I should have.

SPEAKER_03Yes, I do. Do you want it? I do like it. It works really well.

SPEAKER_03I I do love me some some Dyson Airwrap. I tried the what's the brand Shark. Yes.
SPEAKER_02They came out with one. It is so loud. The Dyson. But it's not loud. Yeah. It has a very like. I can't even I can't mimic it, but it is it is nice. But the Dyson Airwrap, if you're not familiar, it's kind of like an all-in-one multi-tool for your hair. It's a blow dryer. It had it comes with attachments and it has a round brush, it has a straight brush, it has two curl sizes, and it's magical. It's it's magical. But it like, if you want to curl your hair, it uses air. So it like it like sucks it in and wraps your hair around it. It's it's a fine piece of machinery. It is. I really really well. I think it is worth the price. I really do. It is very expensive.
SPEAKER_03And here's the thing, I only wash my hair once a week. Same. So my blow dryer is like pretty new comparative to most people's because I just and like I said, I keep it and I keep everything in the boxes that they come in because I love the box.
SPEAKER_02Okay, that alone, the box that comes in, it holds all of my hair tools.
SPEAKER_03It holds all of them, and I just have them sitting there in the box.
SPEAKER_02My husband hates it because it takes up like it does.

I do I take. I have like one of those like alligator clips, and I just put my hair on top of my head and wrap it around and then just you know.

SPEAKER_02You do a ponytail. I actually love that you do ponytails. I don't know, I cannot. I don't know what it is. A ponytail Amy is like, who is this? I don't I'm a bun. I have to have at least a bun. You do a ponytail, you rock a ponytail. I'll you do high and low. Yeah. Oh my god, you're not on Instagram, but if we ever had time, there's a trend right now with it's usually two girls and they're facing the camera, and they like I'll just do it right now. Say, Rachel, you know what, you know what I think would look so good on you? You know, I really love it when you're you have a unibrow, but then it like attaches to your hairline. And then the next clip goes and it's a girl that took like makeup and did that, and then she'll she'll dish it back. You know, I really love it when you have like green eyeshadow that goes all the way up to your eyebrow, and then they'll clip in again, and then the other girl will have horrible applied eyeshadow, and they go back and forth, and then by the end of the video, they look like clowns? Male clowns. It's so funny. And I want to do this trend. We can do it. I'll do it with you. I it's more like time, yeah. But I think it would be really funny. Um, okay. We're I mean, we're just letting it fly now. Um fly. Oh, I want to talk about your nails because one of the questions I had was current nail colorslash manicure trend. And I feel like you are always trending with your nails. Your nails are always on point.
SPEAKER_03I used to always, always, always, always just do a French. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That was like all I did. And then 2020 happened, and I was like, all right, let's go all frisky.
SPEAKER_02You know what? They they are frisky, but they are tame frisky. Yeah. I don't even know how to I th somehow those words live together.
SPEAKER_03So right now I kind of have the leopard print and also like a nude color on mine. I think that's why it works.
SPEAKER_02You do a soft something with a flash of something, yeah. And it it's a good balance. And it's really cute.
SPEAKER_03I like to have a little bit of something without it being too much in your face. I love this wild side for you. Yeah. This is so fun. On my nails. Um I'm like, you know, who cares?
SPEAKER_02It really suits you though. I don't know. I um that's foreign to me, and I don't know why. I don't know.
SPEAKER_03I used to get tons of designs. I used to get acrylic on my toes, and I used to do fun like designs all over my toes when I was younger. That is so fun. Yeah. I love those. Have I I mean I don't do as much now. I used to only do um like a square or coffin shape, and now I've come to the almond. Yep, that's I can't. And I've done stiletto before. What shape is that? It's the pointy, super pointy.
SPEAKER_02That's what I want, but I know that I would like poke my eyes out because I've got to be a little bit more.
SPEAKER_03So I did really like it. It didn't bother me. I did like the stiletto, but like during procedures, I can't. It's just that would be I tried it. It was really pretty, it did not work out. Um I didn't know there was a name for it. Yeah, it's called stiletto. Yeah, because you think of a stiletto is a few. I would feel like such a Disney villain if I had stiletto. So I had them still short, yeah, but they were very pointy. Um, so that's so I sometimes I go in and I look at my girl and I'm like, so I got this picture and this picture. Oh, she goes, Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. And sometimes she'll go, yeah, like this one. Sometimes she'll go, uh They're always so honest. And I'm like, okay, then do you, boo.
SPEAKER_02Do you do you like that they're honest, or do you wish they would just let you make your mistake? No. Okay, no. I agree, and I don't have anyone in my life that would other than you. Really, I should probably run that by you and be like, here's what I'm thinking for my nails, and you'll go, no. Like when I had the blueberries, remember that? That was too much for me, and I don't know what I was thinking. Yeah. I really liked the picture of them, and it turned out just like the picture, and I hated them on me.

From lack of support. And ever since I had that procedure done where they take care of like your ingrown toenails, everything's been great. Life is good. But if I wear shoes that are like too constricting, too tight for too long, which would be like sneakers, because I wear them all day, I get that same pain. And I looked up, there's a there's a there's a shoe. It's a sh it's a wide toe box, and it is as ugly as it sounds. Oh, but I think I did find a decent pair. They arrive tomorrow. Okay. I'm gonna add slippers to the robe because it they kind of go hand in hand. They do. I don't have a robe, I'm not a big robe person. I have a robe. I wear it a couple a couple times a year. Yeah, see, that's not worth it to me. I know, but I just know sweatpants and sweatshirt. I know, but I need to know that I have one.
SPEAKER_02Here's my issue. The issue is that it's a silk robe, which is kind of a problem because you can't relax in that. No. Um and we're just not lazy people. Yeah. Like I can't put a robe on and just sit. I have a visual we talk about this, but I have a I visualize me coming downstairs in this robe, this, this, this every morning to get her coffee. Right, and my hair's like long and wild, and I'm and I it's like a it's like a movie scene. I don't have that.
SPEAKER_03I I don't know. I don't have that either. I also would rather just grab a sweatshirt and t-shirt on.
SPEAKER_02I'm a big fan of matching pajamas. And you should get those to everybody, because those are good too. Um, all right. I think we talked everyone's ear off, and you're welcome because I think it was light and fluffy. This was light and fluffy. I forget the other term I said we would call it. Oh, light bright. Light bright, light bright. Um, next week, I don't know, we'll talk about something. It'd be surprising.
