Welcome And The Big Question

SPEAKER_00

Hi, and welcome back to another episode of That's the V, where we ask what is and uncover how the fashion industry really works one conversation at a time. My name's Victoria. I am your host,

What The Front Row Is

SPEAKER_00

and today's topic is what is the front row. So the front row is actually an event I'm hosting on August 22nd at Hotel Indigo in El Paso, Texas. And is a project I am very excited about. And it's basically a live conversation just like the ones I've had previously here in the podcast, but in front of an audience, which I feel like is a little bit nerve-wracking, but also so so exciting because

Meet Nabil Sarina From Mexico City

SPEAKER_00

my guest is coming from Mexico City. She is Nabil Sarina, a creative director, fashion designer, and just I feel like an incredible, inspiring person in her craft. I I've been admiring her for the longest time. I actually modeled for her at some point years ago. So it's like a full circle moment, and I'm just excited to tell her story, talk about how she made it happen and how she's now thriving in Mexico City, designing for just different celebrities and incredible people that understand her brand because I really think designing and designers all have like a specific niche. And the more we talk about them, the more people know. And I just want more people to know about her and everything she's building. So I'm just excited to have a space to share with you all in person where it is more

What You Get With A Ticket

SPEAKER_00

dynamic. People will be able to ask questions, uh, interact with her compared to you know, the podcast episodes are just very much online and you can comment and things like that, but there's nothing like a real live interaction. So if you're in El Paso, Texas, uh on August 22nd, or if you want to calm on down on August 22nd, once again, um, and just experience this event where we're just gonna have like different fashion experiences for you all to try, not just the conversation itself, but there's gonna be uh champagne, happy hour, lots of photo opportunities, lots of networking opportunities, goodie bags, and you know, just a chance to meet Nabil and interact with her. Um, if you know her already or know her designs or a client of hers, this is just another great opportunity to interact with her and her circle, but also just meet new people. Also, if you don't know of her, you want to know what it's like, who is she, just learn from the experience. It's a little bit of everything. Um, tickets are limited but are still being sold in my bio on at That's the V podcast on Instagram or my personal at Victoria Costa 04. Um, we've been doing some cool giveaways as well on the pages, so make sure to enter those so you don't want to miss out. And yeah, that's basically the gist of it. I wanted to come on here to talk a little bit more just in case there's like any questions out there, but also if you have a question or you want to know more about this, you definitely can reach out via DM. Uh, that's just I feel like the quickest and

Why El Paso Needs Fashion Spaces

SPEAKER_00

easiest way for me to get back to you. And I really wanted to create this space or this event for the fashion community to keep growing and connecting. I truly love um just like being surrounded by people who are intrigued or passionate about fashion, and that can be in any realm in regards to like designing, photography, makeup, modeling, production, everything. There's so much, I feel like, so so much in the fashion industry where um like I don't wanna limit myself to just doing things like or events like these in El Paso, but I do feel like cities like El Paso need more events that gather the fashion industry together and just make things happen, make connections, grow it, get to meet someone, learn something that is gonna help you to get to the next step wherever you are in your fashion career. Um but hopefully this is not the last one I make or host. I'm really hoping to just make more of this and have something where it's not just in El Paso, but eventually in different cities where I just have a live interview with a special guest, uh, and people can ask the questions, like I mentioned, but at the end, just creating the space for community, for fashion, for art, for culture, and be able to learn, just learn from each other, uh, like take lots of cool content, and the whole purpose of it is just very much that. Like, I wanna have that space to be able to connect with you all, but I also want you all to have that space to connect with others uh and grow and just do cool things, you know, in the most fashionable

Event Details And Who You’ll Meet

SPEAKER_00

way possible. So there's that. Take the deets, August 22nd, 7 to 10, Hotel Indigo, El Paso, Texas, where your coolest outfits will have lots of photo ops, uh, like press, media, cool people attending. I have some special guests attending that I feel like are very worth going to the event for to connect with. Um, like creative agencies, creative directors, casting directors. So you just never know who you're going to meet that will take your career to the next level. So that's basically like the full purpose of this. I'm keeping this episode short and sweet for that reason, just more so to talk about the event and and talk about what you can expect. Um also it's not gonna be like a super long event. As I said, seven to ten, three hours conversation itself will probably take like 30 to 40 minutes. Uh so it won't be like something super huge that you have to like wait all this time, like sitting listening. It's just gonna be more interactive than anything. And then you can expect the actual episode with Nabeel later on uh on the podcast page. But if you're there, you'll be living the episode in real time, which I think is pretty cool. Um, you'll see like if we get like any mess-ups or anything, you know, when you're live, anything can happen. Um but but yeah, I'm just like truly so excited to have been able to put this together uh and partnered up with Hotel Indigo. I like truly, truly love that space. Um, it's such like a cool rooftop vibe. The drinks are amazing, the food too. So it's just if you haven't been, it's something you definitely want to discover. And I wanted to bring people together to also like get into a new fashion mindset and maybe a space that you haven't been before, type of thing. I mean, if you've been there already, cool, but then you'll get to experience it in a different type of way because I feel like it's something that hasn't been necessarily done before, at least here, or at least in a long time. So yeah, that's

Timing, Tips, And Final Reminders

SPEAKER_00

basically everything I wanted to touch base on. Uh, tell you a little bit more of what to expect, the purpose, and tickets are still available, and they will be selling tickets at the door as well, but price will go up the day off, so you want to make sure to get your tickets beforehand. Uh, it does include a happy hour or like complimentary champagne the first hour. So you want to make sure to be there on time. The second hour, so 8 p.m., we will start the conversation, and by nine, we'll just have time to have Nabil do her styling sessions, uh, networking, um, you know, more content, more photo ops, fun stuff. So that's the T. I mean, that's the V. Um this coming event. Um, truly excited to see everyone that's going to be there. Again, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out via DM at That's the V Podcast on Instagram. And I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as possible. See you at the event, and if not, on the next episode. Bye. Thank you for tuning in. Make sure to follow at That's the V Podcast on all platforms for more fashion content.
