Hello, everybody. Welcome back to All Read What She's Reading. I'm Reggie. I'm Michaela. And I'm Kennedy. Today we're going to be discussing our books that we've read in the past and asking each other, would you read it again? And the fun part about this little test is that we don't know what books were gonna be are gonna be thrown at us. So we've gone through each other's Goodreads. And I'm gonna I've picked like a random book from Kennedy's Goodreads, and I'm gonna ask her if she would read it again and if she were to read it now instead of in the past, if her rating would be different. Uh and I think this might stir up some interesting conversation. So should we just jump right on into it? Let's do it. Um, Michaela, let's have you start with one of your picks for Kennedy. For Kennedy? I was giggling. Not that I think they're I don't think they're super outlandish, but I'm just genuinely curious. These have been questions that have been harboring on my mind for a long time. Just kidding. The last hour. The first one is Dance of Thieves. Ooh. By Mary Pearson. Yes. You want to what's funny is I always said that Avatar was the first fantasy book that I read, but it's actually that. Yeah. Oh. That was the first fantasy book I ever read. I remember where I was when I read it, and I would 100% reread it. Do you read it? You would like it as much as you didn't then. I think I rated it four stars, if I'm remembering correctly. I also remember the end of that book. I chucked my book across the room. It has such a good ending. Yeah. I think I would rate it very similarly now.

SPEAKER_02Just remembering the plot and how I don't feel like it's super romanticy trope heavy like the romanticy books I've been reading lately. So I think I would really enjoy it. It's funny because I actually was thinking about rereading it a few weeks ago. Really? Just to see if I liked it as much. But a part of me also kind of wants to read the series you're supposed to read before you read that one. The Kiss of Deception. Have you read that? No. But I have them. Okay. A part of me wants to read that before I go back and hang out with J Jace and Causey again. See, I remember both of their names. Wow. Like I remember a lot from that book. Shackled together, Through the Wilderness, Enemies to Lovers. True Enemies to Lovers. Yeah. If I remember correctly. Yeah, I I would 100% reread it. And I think I would rate it very similarly. Alright. Have you read that? Yeah. Oh.

SPEAKER_02Love. I think I would almost rate it higher if I read it now. I think I kind of read it at a bad time. What did you read it? I think three stars. Yeah, I remember reading it on a plane, and it was really hard for me to get into originally because it was the first fantasy book I read. Yeah. The beginning's kind of slower. Once you get into it. And I've heard if you've read the other series before, it's really easy to get into because you already have been in the world. But great pick. I have such a fond little attachment to those books. I also think they're beautiful. Yeah. They're so pretty. I like the covers a lot. And it's only two books, right? Yeah. So yeah. Sorry. I feel like what we can say about it is that it's about, yeah, these two very different people who somehow get chained together. They are enemies. And they have to make their way across the wilderness together, but they are literally tied together. So good. Yeah. Yeah. So Michaela, I did pick that one for you. Oh. Shut up. So I'm just gonna just to go along with that. What did you originally rated it? Oh, I screenshotted your rating. Hold on. Five stars. Yes, you rated it five stars. If you were to read it again right now, like reread it, would you enjoy it just as much? I think so. Yes. Just because it's like nostalgic. Because I read it when did I read it? Oh, I didn't screenshot exactly when you I read it four years ago. That's crazy. Four years ago. And so I like I only have a star rating. I don't even have like Rin at all. Like So do you think that if you hadn't have ever read it and you were to pick it up right now, do you think you would still rate it five stars? I think I would. Yeah. I don't know. I the thing about dance of Thieves, it's literally everything that I would want in like a fantasy book. Yeah. I don't know. Like it just it marks off everything that I want. And I feel like it's well done. Yeah. That's why I wish I would have read it at a different time or like hadn't read it and could pick it up right now and read it. I think I would still love it. Um I don't know. I feel like I was a little looser with my five stars back then, but I think I would still rate it maybe like four or four point five if I were to like reread it again. But if like having the prior knowledge, I think I would just be as giddy to like reread it. Just to be back in those like scenes with those characters, you know? I don't know. I just love it. Yeah, such a good book. Alright, is it my turn? Yeah. Okay. Reggie. I'm picking one for Reggie because you'd the one for Michaela. Yeah. Okay. I'm gonna give you Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle. I had a feeling this one was gonna come up. You know, it's fun. I did give this book five stars when I first read it, and I remember really enjoying it. But how do you know how long ago I read that? It's been a long time. Like two years probably. I feel like it's been longer. I feel like I would not write it five stars now because honestly, I've forgotten a lot of things because it's been picked up for an adaptation, and I want to say they have a cast already. There's still things about it that I remember, and there were like a lot of really great quotes, and I really enjoyed my reading experience with it. But I think if I were to read it now, I don't know. Maybe I would actually appreciate it more than I did, but it's just like I don't remember so much of it now, and I wouldn't be dying to pick it up. I do think that maybe before the movie comes out, I could see myself rereading it because I'm very curious to see because I have forgotten so much about it, I'm curious to see like what I would think. But I do think it was one of those books I rated five stars, and then a few months later I was like, maybe that's not a five-star read. But in a way, I almost wonder if it would be a five-star read now, because I think I could maybe appreciate it a little more, but I could also see myself reading it and being like, oh. So I don't know. I remember I fell into the hype when I uh read it. I felt like pressure to read it five stars. I even when I first read it, I was like, yeah, this isn't a five-star read, but I feel pressure to make it a five-star read. Yeah. Yeah. I don't I think yeah. I agree with you. I kinda even remember, I just remember it's like these two childhood best friends, he makes video games, and then it's just like they're storious friends. Storious friends throughout the course of the book. Oh, I'm remembering some certain things about it though. I do remember, I thought it was really cool because in the middle of the book it like changes POVs or something, and it does something really weird in the middle. Can't remember quite what it is. Like you get to read through the walkthrough of the video game, which was kind of cool. See, I don't even remember that. I had that on my want to read, and for some reason I took it off. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02So did you say whether or not you would reread it? I think I would, especially since it's being adapted. I think I'd be curious to see what I think of it now because yeah, like I can remember bits and pieces here and there of things that happened. Like I remember there's like a big plot twist, and I remember that. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. But I don't know. I think I just had like a lot of love. I think the reason I loved it so much was the characters. I think I just cared about them so much, and I'd be interested to read it again to see if I care about them as much as I did the first time. Yeah, you said the characters were so intricate. You loved their stories and felt very connected to them. Well, see, I do remember that. There you go. Same. But yeah, I'd be curious because I feel like when I first read it, it was like pretty popular. So a lot of people were reading it pretty highly. And what's the average rating? Do you have it pulled up? Yes. The average rating is 4.1. I'm slowly than I guess that. So it's pretty, pretty high. Interesting. Yeah. I don't I'm curious to look up the adaptation. Daisy Edgar Daisy Edgar Jones is cast as the that's male lead. They don't have a cast casting for the male lead yet.

SPEAKER_02I feel like she's a pretty good actress. Yeah. And she did really everybody loves her in what is it, normal people? Mm-hmm. I haven't seen it, but I don't know if you guys picked that one for me, but that's a book I've been thinking about recently. I did not pick that one, I almost did. Because I've been seeing so many edits to it from like Noah Khan's new album. Yeah. I think I didn't DNF the book. Maybe I did. Or I at least skimmed the end of it. Because I was so bored, but I think that's one of those books that if I read it now, I might really like it. I don't I've only I think that's the only Sally Rooney book I read. I think I tried another one and didn't love it. But anyways. Alright, Michaela. What's your next book for Reggie? I'm excited about this one. Daughter of No Worlds. But you fetch her I had that on this list. Sorry. You know what? By Chris Abradman. What did I rate it? Do you have my rating pulled up? I don't remember. I want to guess I rated it four and a half stars. I think you rated it four. Four and a half. Yeah, I think if like I would definitely reread those books. I just want to give it like a long enough time so I can like forget things. Things. Uh but I think I would still probably rate it the same. Well, I gotta pull it up. Let me know if you can. Yeah, Goodreads is down for me. Yeah, Good Reads is not working right now. Yeah, I want to say I gave it between like four and five stars. Uh I just really like it because one, it's just not talked about very much. And so I think there's just something really special. Like it feels really special to have a series that you love that not a lot of people have almost yet discovered. Like you want more people to read it, but it feels special because you feel like you're in this special club of people that have gotten to experience it before a ton of people have. I mean, a lot of people have read it, but it's just not nearly as popular as Crowns of Nyaxia. I think I would rate it the same. I mean, the series as a whole, I don't know. I think the only thing, like the only negative thing I would have to say about those books is just that Carissa's pacing in them is just kind of all over the place. I didn't love the pacing of the book, but I there's just something I love about that story, and I just I just love honestly. My favorite character isn't even Tisana. I think my favorite character is Max. Sweet. And another character that I won't say because they're not, I don't think they're introduced in. Mm. Anyways, there's another like element to the story that I really love. So I think I'd rate them the same. I think I would enjoy them about just as much. Honestly, if not more, because the well, the first time I read the series, I accidentally spoiled a big plot test for myself. Sad. Never look up fan art or fan cast of things when you're reading a book, you guys. Never. But I was like, oh, I'm safe because I'm almost done with the book. No. So yeah. I just love I don't know. There's something about that those three books that just feels really special to me. But I think it might just be the fact that it's just not like overly talked about. So you know what I mean? Let's ask this question for all three of us. Would you rather reread the War of Lost Hearts trilogy or the Crowns of Niaxia? Crowns of Niaxia. Mine's gonna be Crowns of Niaxia as well. But all of them? That's the thing, is like I would reread the first two, but I don't know if I want to reread the other ones. I mean, I don't know, I haven't read the fourth one still. Yeah. But where I'm at in the series of Crowns of Niaxia, I think I would choose that one, probably. Same. Yeah. There's something about the first two of the Crowns of Nyaxia that is just more exciting. Whereas I think the War of Lost Hearts feels what's the word I'm looking for? I I think the reason I'm I say The Crowns of Niaxia is because when I read The Crowns of Niaxia, I hadn't read Vampires. Like it was very new and fresh. I think War of Lost Hearts trilogy, I'm not saying it's been done before because it's n it hasn't been the stories completely different, but like the chosen one, you know what I mean? Kind of like that trope I had read so many times before. Yeah. So it felt similar but also different at the same time.

SPEAKER_02Crowns of Niaxia is just like my first vampire book, you know? Although they all terrify me. I don't know. Yeah. They're great. If you haven't read any of Chris the Broadman's books, you're really missing out. Uh Crowns of Niaxia, like Kennedy said, is vampires. Uh they're like she c it's a series, but they're in duets. So there's like two books and then two books and then two books. More of Lost Hearts is just three books, and it follows a girl who's a a slave. Yeah. She prof she's like a performer, and she's trying to buy her freedom. And in the process of doing that, things just kind of escalate, and she's trying to save a friend and learn more about who she is. I feel like I can't say too much. Yeah, that's a pretty good way to say that. But like there's some really cool elements to that story that I absolutely loved. I can think of specific moments throughout the story books where like I was crying, I was laughing, I just loved it. So shout out Carissa. Yeah. Shout out for me, Kennedy. Alright, we're gonna just go with number one Zodiac Academy.
SPEAKER_04That's literally what I was gonna ask Michaela about.
SPEAKER_02I'll choose a different one. I'll read what she's reading. Um, I think I made it to book four. And have I thought about picking up the series again? No. It's just like such a weird book series. Like, I honestly think because we made it to the same point, right? Where you know what happens at the end of the book with two of the characters, and it's so frustrating. I think I started the next one. Okay, and I stopped because I'll just say orgy. See, that's what you get with Zodiac Academy. It's just it's literally trash reality TV with uh fantasy elemental plot points, yeah. And it's like looking back on it, I had a fun time listening to it because it's really entertaining. But was it great? No, no, I would not reread it. Would I continue? Maybe if I was really bored and I had access to it on Libby. It's just like I sometimes low-key forget about it until someone brings it up, and I'm like, yeah. Oh, yeah, I've read the first few of those. And there's redeeming parts of the book. Kind of. It's just the weirdest. If you've read it, you know it, and I know people love it, but I just think there's too many books to justify the same thing over and over again.

SPEAKER_02And also I I can't I I don't understand why there's also then books from the boys' point of views and just also there's one on the moon. On the moon? Isn't it? I've been telling I've been telling Kennedy and Michaela that we need to do like a series of them explaining this book to me. At this point Because every time they say something to me, I'm like, what? At this point I can't remember. Doesn't he go to I swear there's one with Seth on the moon? The unicorn? No. He's isn't he the wolf? See, I can't remember. Does he oh wait, I think he does go on the moon. I think he goes to the moon. Yeah. So my question for you is So like you wouldn't if you hadn't read them, would you ever probably pick them up now? Yeah, because my curiosity gets the best of me. I probably would. Yeah. Would you? Do you feel like the time you pick them up, was it pretty hyped at the time? No, I think my reaction would be the exact same. Yeah. Okay. That's what I was thinking you would say. Yeah, it's just it's fun, but it's so stupid. What is it? Fay book? I can't. It's said Facebook. Yeah, they have Facebook. There's bullying and orgies, apparently. So it's just everything that you can think of is in that book, and I don't necessarily mean that in a good way or a bad way. It's just kind of like Is it complete? Yeah, it is. They keep they roll books in the boys' book. Aren't they like, yeah, I was gonna say I remember someone making a TikTok video holding all of the books and saying, here's the order you should read these in. I didn't realize there were so many. Yeah. Listen, if any of you feel really passionately that me and Michaela should keep going, let us know. Yeah. We made it to book four. Yeah. I think that's what it had on here. Yeah. So I started book five. The thing is, I was also listening to the graphic audio. Oh, girl. Okay, I did listen to a graphic audio one time, and there was literally that in the background. It was awful. It was traumatizing. Yeah, because the wolves. It was traumatized. Yes, okay, it's coming back to me. Yeah. Yep. Wow. Yeah. Wow. Pac mentality. Traumatizing. But you know, I did love the professor. Land. Blue. Yeah, I put him on your your book boyfriend bookmark I made you. I I did enjoy it. Whoa. I really liked him when I read the books. We did enjoy it. SPEAKER_02Once again, I'll read what she's reading. Right for a very specific reason. Do you want to share with the classic? You know the reason, right? Do you want to share with the class? I think I know the reason. Yeah. Um no. I don't think I would reread it. Yeah, I don't think I would either. I've thought about maybe reading Mate. Is that what it's called? Maybe because sometimes I just like see it at bookstores. I'm like, okay, that there's a second one. I forget there's a second one out there. I am traumatized enough from the first one that I remember everything. Um no, I don't think I re would reread it. What did you rate it? Like three stars? I remember as a book club book. I think I rated it three. I did appreciate well, is Allie Hazel the one that started out with writing fan fake of this stuff. So I I loved that she like went back to something that she started with. Um I just don't think it's my cup of tea. I do really like the element of like werewolves vampires. Different, it's different, right? It's just I just don't think I'm her ideal on audience anymore. Do you think if her spice level was lower, you would have rated the book higher? Probably. Yeah. Yeah. But like I I get it. Some people that's their cup of tea, and I love that for them. I just don't think I, you know. Yeah. I don't know. I do really like I liked the sibling dynamic. Mm-hmm. Um, but besides that, yeah. I don't know. I just don't I just like there's so many books to read that I just don't think I would reread it because of I didn't like it as much the first time around, and I don't think my opinion would change of it. So well it's kind of like if you're in the mood for a romance, there's probably romance authors you'd rather read, and if you're in the mood for a fantasy, there's probably other fantasy authors you would want to read. Yeah, and I do feel like because I've I read her what love hypothesis and kind of a few in that little series, and they honestly weren't as spicy, but I feel like the more books she writes, the spicier they get, which that's great. But yeah. I just yeah. If you haven't read Red Mate, go ahead and try it. Bride. Bride, my bad, mate's a second one. It's are there only supposed to be the two? I don't know. I have no idea. I wish Goodreads was working right now. Then I guess I can use Fable. It might be working again. It's working again. Is it working? Yeah, let me look. Just kidding. It crashed again. So I don't know. This is specific one specific book, but you can answer for the series as well. Okay. Supernova. Oh. By Marissa Meyer. Mm-hmm. Or like the series in general. I would reread that so fast. You would reread it too. Actually. You would enjoy it as much as you did. I don't know because it is young adult. And I feel like if I read it now, it would feel really young adult. But it's funny you asked this because me and Kyle are re-watching all the X-Men movies. And literally that book is X-Men. Yeah. For tweens. Yeah. Like straight up. Magneto, Charles Xavier, you got they're in the book. It's it was so fun. And I actually am still trying to find a book that's similar to that, just maybe more adult.

SPEAKER_02It's just it's so good. And I also I've tried other Marissa Meyer books and they just haven't hit as well. Just not they feel really young. So I feel like if I did read it now, I don't think I'd probably rate it as high because I know I rated Supernova five stars. I think it's actually on my like most valuable books list on Goodreads. I just some a sucker for a superhero story.

SPEAKER_02And there's like a cute little romance in there. And so I loved it. Well this is like making me feel a lot of nostalgia just hearing us talk about these books that we haven't talked about in so long. Yeah. Like the books we talked about when we started the podcast. I'm trying to remember. You have the Renegades and the Bad Guys. It's been like three years, three, four years. The Renegades and the Ren. I don't know. Oh gosh, I'll look it up. But literally, these people have powers. Some of the people in this world have powers, and there's two opposing forces, good guys and the bad guys. Arc Arc enemies. Ark enemies. Arch enemies and the Renegades. Renegades and Supernova. So yeah, I mean if you guys like X-Men, you could try it out, but it will feel pretty young.
SPEAKER_04But I would reread it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I wish it was rewritten, just a little more adult. Like take take the main character and make her like 22. Yeah. Instead of because I think she's pretty young in the book. You're like 16. Yeah. Yeah. The someone comes in and kills her parents in front of her. That's the beginning of the book.

SPEAKER_02I can't remember who it is, but someone comes and kills her parents, and then she's kind of an orphan, and she gets taken in by the bad guys. And the bad guys force her to go to this academy to become a renegade. Yeah. And then three books happen after that. Yup. Love her. Actually, you guys, I really want to name a child Nova. I love that name so much. I think it's cute. That's the name of the main character. For supernova.

SPEAKER_02Sorry, okay. Okay. Uh my turn for Michaela. Oh boy. I'm gonna go with the Shatter Me series. You read that. Wait, I think I have it on here. You read that in 2022. Four years ago. Four years ago. The first book. Um no. Have you read the newest book? No, I started it. But I did not finish. So I didn't get very far into it, but no, I think I read it at the perfect time. Meaning it like I devoured them. And I was also so new into my book reading. I hadn't read like series that I like I don't know, was obsessed with quite yet. Did you read the novellas? No. Except for the last one. But no, I don't think I would read them because I definitely don't think I would enjoy them as much as I did then. So I just wanted it to kind of stay where it was at, and I enjoyed them where I was at four years ago. Yeah, I feel like that's a very like tween book series. Yeah. Because I feel the same way as you. Yeah. So yeah, I wouldn't read it again. But I do understand why a lot of people love them because it's it's kind of like not as nostalgic as like the Hunger Games, but I can see why people have such a love for it. Yeah. I think it also has a great like plot storyline. It's very nostalgic of the um like dystopian? Dystopian, yes. Yeah. Dystopian. That's like a series I wish I would have picked up a long time ago. I just never did. And so I can't see myself picking it up now. So that's why I was curious if like had you not read them four years ago. If you would would pick them up now. Pick them up now? Probably not. Actually. I think it's telling that you didn't love the newest book. Okay, Reggie, my book that I'm picking for you is The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros. Would you reread that? No. Nope. It's burned into my brain. No need to reread it. I would definitely not read it again. But is it will it be a five stars for forever? Yes. Would I recommend it to anybody? No. Do I want to see the movie when it comes out? Absolutely not. That's what I was just gonna ask. Absolutely not. But you want to know what? I'll watch it. I'll watch it. I mean, I will watch it. Does it mean I want to? Does it mean I want to? No. Uh oh man. It's actually like a cruel thing. It's just I don't know. You know like how you watch like sometimes movie, like I'm trying to decide if I think the book will definitely be better. I think the book is maybe more emotional, but in a way I'm like, I wonder, depending on how well they do the movie. Oh man. Who has it picked it up picked it up? I think it's Amazon, isn't it? No. It's gonna be in theaters. I don't know. Beckett just better be hot. Yeah. Okay, wait, who did I picture as Beckett when I read it? I'm trying to remember. I pictured someone very specific. I think I pictured the guy in the longest ride. Wait. I think that's who I pictured. It's so Yeah, Amazon MGM. Yeah, Amazon. Oh yeah. I great book. Great book. Uh we've talked about it a lot on the podcast, but it's just I will never I don't know. It's yeah, it's just really something. So if you know, you know, and if you don't know, you will know. Yeah. I think if you're in wanting a good cry, it's a great book to read. Um and if you're familiar with Rebecca's books, her ro her her romance books are always some sort of military aspect to it. So I'm trying to remember how we decided to explain this book in one of our past episodes, but a single mom is writing letters to her brother's best friend while he is in the Navy, the military, the army. I know they're all different things, but something like that.

SPEAKER_02He's out, while he's deployed. Yeah. So Rip. That's yeah. And if you're thinking, oh, it's like Dear John, someone asked me that. Like, is it like Dear John? I was like, no. I don't think I've actually read or watched Dear John before. It's been a long time for me. Yeah. But I can guarantee they're not the same. Not the same. No. So yeah. Rebecca, man.

SPEAKER_02Okay. Carrie Soto is back. This is a tricky one because I think I rated this like 2.5 stars, two stars. And I love Taylor Jenkins Reed so much. I think I'm just not an athlete. And so I think that I would have liked it a lot better because it follows a tennis player. I think it would be a really cool movie. I think I'd enjoy a movie of it more. I just didn't love the book. I think I want I said something about it just being so much about tennis. And like I love tennis. And like I grew up playing tennis. I love watching tennis. I think I just wanted a little more from it, but then I think if I were to reread it, I would catch on things that I didn't catch the first time. I don't think I'll ever read it again. But I'm trying to think of all of Taylor Jenkins Reid books. I think that's my lowest rated of hers. Even under Malibu Rising, I think. So So wouldn't reread Carrie Son. Oh, but I do think that I would recommend it to you, and I think you would like it. Okay. You know what's funny is you rated the favorites very high, and I feel like they're the same book, different font. Really? Yeah. Um kind of. Unlike the whole main character doing ever doing whatever it takes to succeed. Yeah, I just feel like there was a little bit more to the favorites that kept it interesting. Whereas like Carisot's back felt like the same story, like the same thing each chapter a little bit. And so that's what was hard for me. Yeah, I do wonder if you read that, if that would be like your highest Taylor Jenkins read book, Michaela. I've only read one. I know. Yeah. Like out of all of her books, if that would be the one that I would recommend for you to read. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Maybe if it's if it doesn't have a long Libby hold, try listening to it. I wonder if listening to it would be really entertaining. I wonder if there's some sort of like I don't know. Yeah, a little tennis ball. Kennedy's actually gonna just do her own graphic audio. No, I've always just been curious because I feel like you really love Taylor Draken Reads. Yeah, I think. And so I was just curious about like that book. If you would reread it. I would reread a lot of her other ones, but yeah. I really would. Okay. But anyways. Yeah. I'm gonna go with The Song of Achilles. Because you read this quite a while ago. A long time ago.
SPEAKER_01And I wanna say Here we go again. I'm getting a lot of hate on TikTok for this again. When we originally posted this, people were so mean to me.
SPEAKER_02I'm doing it for the clickbait. But I'm curious, like now, if you were like if you hadn't read it what like three years ago. The funny thing is, is do I want to reread it? No. But I do think if I re-re reread it now, I would like it more than I did. That's what I was thinking. But like it's never crossed my mind to reread it. I think I just have a more a a better appreciation of like slow-paced, beautiful, flowery writing than I did three years ago.

SPEAKER_02But I'm not like jumping at the gun to pick it up again. And people hate me for that. No, I think it's okay. So a very tragic story. I remember really, really loving the ending, but I don't remember anything leading up to it. So please don't hate me. I'm sorry. Has that been picked up? I want to say it has. I'm not sure. Because I keep seeing all these things about how the director of the movie has been meeting with Connor Story. Let's see. And I was like, but I didn't think it had been picked up. It's option for adaptations. Um, maybe people are just making crap up. Yeah. I know he's met with some director, and everyone was famous for some. I would frequently speculate about casting with names like Connor Story and Hudson Williams. Well, why? Because they are in okay. Honestly, I mean they wouldn't say that about that, but like they would work. They would work. I mean, their chemistry is off the charts. Yeah. But also, like, I would like them to just be like, I wouldn't want to see them in anything else together in a role like that. Well, yeah, because I feel like you couldn't separate them. Yeah, exactly. They each need their moment to like shine. Yeah. I do think I would enjoy it as a movie more than I did as a book. I think it would be a very visually beautiful, tear-jerking movie. I just don't think the book was for me. Honestly, if I read it now, I probably would like it more, but I I don't think I'll reread it. Too many books, so little time. I'm gonna stitch the TikTok of you. I'm joking. I'm joking. It was really slow paced, and everyone's like, that's the point. I'm like, okay. Sorry, slow paced. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I'm sorry. Now I could probably appreciate it. So all of you guys in the comments can now, ha ha, say told you so. I'm sorry to do that too. It's okay.

SPEAKER_02All right, Michaela, I have to pick one for you. Let's see. Let's go with The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. Ooh. V. Schwab. I feel like this is a really tricky one. Hmm. What did I rate it? Four stars, I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure I rated it four stars. Um I don't think I would reread it. Not because I dislike it, but I feel like it's so unique on its own that I remember so much of it. I mean, I'm sure I don't remember everything, but I just think it's a book where I'm like, I remember enough about it that I don't think I would reread it again. I don't know. I might change my mind in a few years, but I feel like it's fresh enough that I'm not like jumping to reread it. Yeah. Because there really isn't anything like it. So it is very memorable. Yeah. Yeah. I also think that would be such a good TV TV series. Yeah. I think so too. I think it's just a matter of time before some of these books just get picked up. Um didn't VE Schwab say there was a script for Secret Life of Addie LaRue. I wanna say she did. I wanna say she did too. I don't know if it's been officially announced. Maybe I shouldn't say that. But I remember saying there was a script getting written for one of her books, and I wanna say it was Invisible Life. Did you guys know there is a something on Netflix called First Kill, released in 2022? It's a vampire series based on one of her short stories. Oh, I didn't know that. I didn't know that either. Shades of Magic has picked been picked up by Sony Pictures, and production is in development. Maybe it was Shades of Magic. But sorry, here we go. Back to Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. V Schwab wrote a script. Oh, okay. Yeah. Okay. So there's a script. It would be a really cool movie. Project is moving along. Yeah. Yeah, it'd be a really cool movie. So yeah, we were we're kind of a besties with V E Schwab. Just kidding. But she did tell us that she just submitted a script when we talked to her. Yeah, that's that's what it was. She's very cool. Yeah. Sorry, now I'm going down a rabbit hole. You won't care about this. She said that she pictures Jamie Campbell Bower to play Victor. Oh. From Vicious. Dang. I would die.
