Sis, What’s the Purpose? is more than a podcast — it’s a safe space, and a faith journey we’re walking through together. We are two sisters, wives, moms, and everyday women who don’t have all the answers, but we are hungry to learn the Word and grow closer to God one scripture at a time.
Every episode, we open our Bibles and break down scripture in a way that is real, relatable, and easy to understand. No theological degrees. No perfect Christian checklist. Just two sisters talking, laughing, learning, and sharing how God’s Word connects to real life — motherhood, marriage, healing, forgiveness, trauma, friendships, purpose, and everything in between.
We believe the Bible was meant to be understood, not feared… experienced, not just skimmed. So if you’ve ever struggled to understand scripture, felt lost in your walk, or wished someone would explain things without judgment or pressure — welcome home. We’ve been there, too.
This podcast is for the new believer, the curious, the returning Christian, and the lifelong follower of Jesus. No matter where you are in your walk, you belong here. Each episode will leave you encouraged, challenged, and inspired to dig deeper, pray harder, and trust God more than you did yesterday.
We’re not perfect. We’re not polished. But we’re real. And if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: God can use imperfect people in powerful ways.

We break them down piece by piece, the same way we study together in real life—honest, relatable, with laughter, sister-talk, and personal reflection. Melinda and I talk through what these scriptures mean for women, mothers, families, and anyone trying to grow their faith in everyday life.
