Sis, What’s the Purpose? is more than a podcast — it’s a safe space, and a faith journey we’re walking through together. We are two sisters, wives, moms, and everyday women who don’t have all the answers, but we are hungry to learn the Word and grow closer to God one scripture at a time.
Every episode, we open our Bibles and break down scripture in a way that is real, relatable, and easy to understand. No theological degrees. No perfect Christian checklist. Just two sisters talking, laughing, learning, and sharing how God’s Word connects to real life — motherhood, marriage, healing, forgiveness, trauma, friendships, purpose, and everything in between.
We believe the Bible was meant to be understood, not feared… experienced, not just skimmed. So if you’ve ever struggled to understand scripture, felt lost in your walk, or wished someone would explain things without judgment or pressure — welcome home. We’ve been there, too.

In this episode of Sis, What’s the Purpose?, we’re continuing our journey through the Gospel of John — stepping into John 1:35–51 and watching some of Jesus’ very first disciples meet Him for the very first time.
These verses give us such a beautiful look at how Jesus calls people personally, gently, and intentionally. From John the Baptist pointing his followers toward Jesus, to Andrew running to tell his brother, to Philip and Nathanael’s unforgettable moment under the fig tree… it’s a passage full of calling, curiosity, purpose, and those “only God” moments that change everything.
But we don’t just read it…
we break it down like sisters at the kitchen table — real, honest, excited, a little emotional, full of laughter, reflection, and those “hold up… what just happened?” moments we all have when studying the Word.
