Sis, What’s the Purpose? is more than a podcast — it’s a safe space, and a faith journey we’re walking through together. We are two sisters, wives, moms, and everyday women who don’t have all the answers, but we are hungry to learn the Word and grow closer to God one scripture at a time.
Every episode, we open our Bibles and break down scripture in a way that is real, relatable, and easy to understand. No theological degrees. No perfect Christian checklist. Just two sisters talking, laughing, learning, and sharing how God’s Word connects to real life — motherhood, marriage, healing, forgiveness, trauma, friendships, purpose, and everything in between.
We believe the Bible was meant to be understood, not feared… experienced, not just skimmed. So if you’ve ever struggled to understand scripture, felt lost in your walk, or wished someone would explain things without judgment or pressure — welcome home. We’ve been there, too.
This podcast is for the new believer, the curious, the returning Christian, and the lifelong follower of Jesus. No matter where you are in your walk, you belong here. Episode 5 | John Chapter 3 – Born Again, Real Faith & God’s Unmatched Love
In this episode of Sis, What’s the Purpose?, we open our Bibles and dive into John Chapter 3, one of the most powerful and widely known chapters in all of Scripture.
This is the chapter where Jesus meets Nicodemus and introduces the life-changing truth of being “born again.” We slow it down and break it apart together—talking through faith, salvation, identity, and what it truly means to follow Jesus beyond religion, rules, or appearances.
And yes… this is the chapter that gives us John 3:16—but we don’t just quote it.
We talk about it.
We feel it.
We apply it to real life as women, moms, sisters, and believers trying to walk this out daily.
As always, we study Scripture the same way we would at the kitchen table—honest, relatable, full of sister talk, laughter, reflection, and those “wait… what does that actually mean?” moments.
