Temptation becoming overwhelming

Unrelenting attacks

Unable to relax

Continued until viewed

Gripping my mind

Seeming to be no way out

Being surrounded by doubt

Focus shifted from the true perspective

Away from the purpose

Prevented to surface

By those afraid of who God's made

Placing barriers to keep separated

Blinded away, not seeing the savior

Becoming a shell of self

Being unaccepting of the help

Living in dysfunction

Believing it's normal

And there's no better way

Seeing the same in surroundings

Not noticing a healthy perception

Stuck in the suffering

Preventing evolution

There is a better way

Though it's no easy venture

It's worth the endeavor

A consistent battle

With the evil surrounding

God is with us through all of the clouding

Hold fast from doubting

Daily Relinquish control over to God

His guidance will provide a way through

Overcoming the battle inside

It seems endless

Though through enduring the difficulties

Proves to strengthen our abilities

Preparing to continue on in the fight

Each day of our life

Keep it simple

Realizing who we have truly been created to be

Utilizing what's been provided

Instead of aimlessly getting indicted

It's a journey

Stop expecting instant results

Being let down most every time

Unwind the tension

And discover joy and peace
